Voting rules:
-First vote to 10, or the option with the most votes after 15m, is the option selected. Sometimes, I'll extend voting if it's important, but this is rare.
-In the case of a tie, both options voted for will be used if applicable. If not, a tiebreaker vote will be called. If the tiebreaker is tied after 10m I flip a coin and seeing what happens.

Conflict rules:
-Some votes will call for a Conflict Roll.
-Conflict Rolls are 1d100 rolls attached to voting options.
-Conflict Scores are calculated by the average of every winning vote.
-Conflict Scores are set against target numbers to be beaten.
-Higher Conflict Scores reflect being more successful (i.e. a Conflict Score of 51 against TN 50, vs. a Conflict Score of 91 against TN 50 reflects varying degrees of asskickery)

Life Fiber Overcharge:
-Options tagged with an * have two choices-following through with that decision normally, or using Life Fiber Overcharge. Specify which when you vote.
-If an option calls for a Conflict Roll, but the winning vote uses Life Fiber Overcharge, there is no Conflict Roll necessary.
-In case of split votes and a mundane route succeeding, only Conflict Roll votes will be factored into the Conflict Score.
-Life Fiber Overcharge makes Life Fibers being worn by the protagonist twice as effective, but causes them to begin multiplying.
-Using Life Fiber Overcharge is draining, and the protagonist does not have special resistance to Life Fibers. Choose carefully.

So you're crossing over with cripples now? How's that gonna work?
>>
>>35302597
It will only coincide if the players from each quest chose similar actions or if events happen the same way. Some events have matched up so far but things can diverge. This isn't a quest merge, rather, both characters have now fully appeared in either universe as potential lead NPCs.
>>
>>35302631
Basically, this. If people decide to have them meet and work together regularly we may merge threads every now and then, but Heinrich is the star of Espionage Quest, and only a supporting character in Cripple la Kill. And vice-versa.

That said, there may be some crossover. For example, those who read Cripple la Kill (which I recommend, Yuuto is like wheelchair Spiderman, it's hilarious), it's entirely possible you may have to deal with Monteblanc in the future.

>>35302385
The elevator hums quietly as you slowly ascend to the Student Council chambers, with nothing to do but ponder how you got sent directly into the lion's den.

After you were seen at the scene of the battle, Inumuta praised you in front of one of the other Shutterbugs, and asked you to come here personally so he could get your perspective on what happened and give you a personal interview. He mentioned he had a few duties to attend to first, so you could wait in the lounge area.

Hōka Inumuta... a man brought to Honnoji Academy because of his genius, and the man in charge of gathering intelligence for the Academy. You considered trying to join one of his clubs for intelligence gathering, but realized how dangerous it was-if a leak was caught, you'd be the first one they'd clean house for.

This is simultaneously one of the best and worst things that could happen to you. Getting to talk to him directly means you could get some info you wouldn't have available otherwise... but it goes both ways-if you leak even a little bit of your cover here, you're as good as dead.

Thankfully, you have your Shutterbug cover. It won't be too suspicious to ask a few questions of your own-after all, he offered an interview.

What this will come down to is whether or not he knows what you are already and is looking to entrap you, or if he's gathering intel on you now to decide. If it's the latter, you can get out. If it's the former...

The elevator bell dings as the doors open. None of the Elite Four are present, all having gone and attented to their duties.

But they don't need to be there for your heart to stop for a moment.

Kiryuin Satsuki is sitting there, casually drinking from an ornate teacup. One eye opens at the sound, followed by the second as you step out of the elevator and abruptly stop.

“Hoooh...? What are you doing here, transfer student?”

Thinking quickly, you answer by...

You know better than to tell her anything but the absolute truth.

She has to know, after today, that you stood alongside Ryuko-the one whom she declared war on, the one who defied her in her kingdom and still lives to tell about it. You know the massive personal power she can bring to bare, and the political she can wield here. And you know she has to see you as an enemy.

Your only way to survive is to try and pass the guise that you're a loyal little student, and loyal little students don't try and press the great Lady Satsuki for information. So you rattle off what Inumuta told you, letting just a little fear slip into your voice. It's natural, because you're terrified, though you don't think you let on just how much.

She smirks bemusedly in response. “Is that so? Well done then. Turning the weapons of the enemy against them is very clever.”

You bow and graciously accept the compliment, taking a seat on the floor nearby, like a good little One-Star that should be afraid of the furniture used by the Student Council. For some reason. Better safe than sorry.

It's quiet for a short eternity, quiet enough you can hear the soft sipping of Satsuki drinking her tea, the humming of the air conditioning, and the sound of the elevator descending. That is, until she speaks again.

“Heinrich Kristoph. Do you fear me?”

She sets her tea down and stands up, one hand on her sword Bakuzan. The hilt clacks against the floor and the sound resonates through the room, punctuating her question.

This is a trick. You know it's a trick. But you don't have time to think on it. You answer her...

“...I find masks very terrifying.”

She obviously wasn't expecting that answer from you. It makes sense-YOU weren't expecting that answer from you. But hearing it out loud, you know it's true. Everything about this school... it just doesn't make sense.

Conquest over other schools? Spreading it's influence? Forcing friends and enemies to fight for status and power? None of it makes sense. It's something so absurd that it -has- to be a mask for something else.

Just like Satsuki. Her cruelness, her ironclad rule... what she's show isn't something that gathers followers, it's something that forces people to follow. But the Elite Four, all of them are strong-willed, the kind of people that carve their own way in life. And yet it's obvious from what you've seen, inside and out of this room, that they all -chose- to follow her, to take their dreams and make them her dream, and chase it with that same drive.

The only thing that makes sense is that she's hiding something about herself, too.

“I fear the power you wield, but... I respect you, Lady Satsuki.”

Her gaze is piercing, like she was staring into your heart. She only met your eyes for a second, but you can tell immediately that she can understand who you are. And then... she smirks, as the elevator door opens.

“Good answer, transfer student. Inumuta...?”

His voice pipes in from the elevator. “My apologies for being late, Satsuki-sama. I thought I heard another transfer student sniffing around the battlefield, and went to investigate. It was just a security glitch.”

Inumuta walks over to you and stares for a moment, before turning back to Satsuki, his collar snapping open just long enough for him to speak. “I called this student here to inquire about what happened with the Gurellia. I hope he didn't offend you.”

“Not at all, I found him very amusing. You always pick interesting ones, Inumuta.”

“I do try.”

Hoka Inumuta's room may not be an official interrogation cell, but it's obvious that he's using it as one.

It's barren, save for a few computers and sparce furniture. He pulls a chair up across from his desk and sits across from it, turning his swivel-chair to face you fully. He taps on his smartphone a little than sets it down.

“Well, let's get this over with. Session One, Subject: One-Star Transfer Student Heinrich Kristoph.”

He's recording you then. That makes sense enough.

“Heinrich, let's get the easy questions out of the way first. Do you know anything about the Anti-Uniform Guerrila that attacked us over the last two days?”

Careful... revealing too much information could blow your cover. You think hard about what you -should- know about him.

...and a thought crosses your mind. You could come clean-or at least, mostly clean. It could get you into deeper cover... but someone might have to get burned for it.

You decide to answer with...

“I was looking into his presence at the school for a story I was working on, but he went to ground real fast. I only know what he told me: Three things I should never forget.”

“Enlighten me.” The sarcasm is dripping from his voice like venom.

“He said... 'First, it only take six jamming rounds to subdue a One-Star Uniform.' That means he's been studying us, attacking us, and building weapons to combat us. And he wasn't wrong-six shots and I felt weak, like I was before I got this, but worse.”

Inumuta nods, typing away at his keyboard as you speak, then makes a gesture with one hand for you to continue.

“Second was that 'without your Uniform, you'll die if I shoot you.' I took that to mean that he would kill me if he had to, but didn't WANT to for some reason. But he didn't seem compassionate... more professional. He must be working for some organization.”

“And the third?”

You pause. He did only tell you two important things.

“...when he attacked Mako-sorry, Makanshoku Mako-he said she'd 'be full of vim and vigor' and that she wasn't hurt. It turned out later it was true. Mako didn't even seem to remember what happened. So whatever purpose those jamming rounds he mentioned have for fighting Goku Uniforms, they can also be used for medicine.”

“Mhmmm... what do you make of it?”

“Well if I had to guess... and I'm no expert... his organization is small. Small enough to require training top agents on advanced medicine that can be done with their limited resources.”

“Interesting take on it. Let's move on... you're in a homeroom with a bunch of No-Stars, with the teacher Mikisugi Aikurou. Do you know why?”

You do know exactly why... but if you sell him out, he's as good as dead. And if he's not, you are. You answer with...

“Well, when I got here, I was only a No-Star, and I received my One-Star really quickly. I just assumed that the scheduling department left me there because they weren't informed and Mikisugi-sensei had experience dealing with transfer students.”

“Of course. So the fact that he requested you personally when you registered was completely coincidental.”

“He requested me by name?” It's easy to seem surprised here-you didn't know this happened, after all.

“You didn't know? Judging by the small talk you made with him on the first day, and the after-school visit...”

You pause. Thankfully you had an excuse prepared for this already. “Oh... I just talked to him because I didn't know anyone, you know? Transferring into a normal high school is hard, but in Honnouji, if you don't have friends you're dead.”

“And you visited him because of his great conversation skills?”

“No... I'm just bad at history.” You look down, a little embarassed. You -have- routinely failed your history exams, after all. “I went to get help.”

“...well, judging by your test scores, you certainly need it. Alright, moving on...” He types away for a little bit, then turns his computer screen to face you. Playing on it is security camera footage of earlier, when you smashed through the window to try and save Ryuko.

Your digital voice shouts 'GET AWAY FROM HER!' Wow, is that what you really sound like? You sweatdrop.

“Care to explain your relationship with this transfer student? Allying yourself with her is just asking for trouble. Why Matoi Ryuko?”

Clever. If you slip up with how you explain things here, you could permanently damage your standing. But... what if he knows already? Or... what if he suspects something else? You answer with...

An idea pops into your head. Something that should blindside him, something that should get him off this line of questioning.

You put on a little bit of a pervy grin. “Okay, look man... I'm going to level with you. I've been trying to get into her pants ever since she transferred into my class. I just figured rescuing her would score me some points, you know?”

Inumuta stops and blinks... and looks at you with a look on his face that screams 'this man is an idiot.' Then he turns and types a little bit, pulling up... a picture of the broken, badly beaten former boxing club champion.

“So you nearly kill one student...”

Click. A picture of Maiko with your Sewing Needle in her neck, blood dripping off the top.

“And KILL not one... but TWO students...”

Click. A picture of the Poet that attacked you, laying deathly still, face white and neck at an obviously unhealthy angle.

“...rescue her best friend not once, but twice...”

Click. A picture of you hauling Mako back from when she got beaten by the rogue Racket agents.

Click. You catching Mako when she nearly fell off the bridge on No-Late Day.

“...and your sole motivation is to 'get in her pants?' I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that.”

You go pale. This man is cold-colder than you expected... and now he has dirt on you.

“But let's move on and not dwell on how stupid the lie you just told to me was. Now then... we've had a lot of transfer students lately. Why did you decide to come to Honnouji, Heinrich Kristoph?”

You obviously can't tell him you're here to steal a Goku Uniform for the study of an underground terrorist organization that's paying you well over three million dollars because your father was one of the organization's best field agents sixteen years ago. That's just plain suicidal.

You need another reason. After a bit of thought, you have it.

“I moved to Kanto a while back, and I heard stories about Lady Satsuki. How she single-handedly demolished all the delinquents and how they all went here to Honnouji. And from there, I heard stories about how Honnouji students seem to have super powers.”

“True and true. What's your point?”

“I've felt powerless all my life-every time I got ground under me, I had to move again for my father's work. Here? Here I can get power myself. I'm only powerless if I let myself be powerless.”

Inumuta stops and looks into your eyes for a second, but dismisses his errant thought and goes back to typing.

“If you want power, why haven't you tried to take the Shutterbugs for yourself?”

Easy answer. “Because Boss has a Two-Star Uniform and I'm fresh out of stolen rocket launchers.”

“Hmph. Prudent. Moving on...” He types quickly, quick enough it's hard to hear when the sound of keys being struck end and begin. A few seconds later, there's obvious dossiers up on his screen, which he of course turns away from you.

“You mentioned your father, Kristopher Kristoph, moved around a lot. How much do you know about what he does?”

...oh no. Your father's job is easy to look up-a modeling coach that travels. If he's asking this question, he has to have something more. Or does he? He could be trying to bluff you for more information. You decide to answer with...

Thankfully, the way he worded his question gives you an easy out-and it's not even really lying all that much.

“Eh, not much. I never was much into keeping up with fashion. That was always the old man's thing... I don't really get along with my Dad. I don't care what he does.”

“Is that so...” Inumuta mumbles a little as he types away, and photos start coming up. Photos of men with antiquated weapons, in jet-black cars, with trenchcoats and-

If your heart keeps skipping beats like this, you may well just die here.

A picture of a somewhat distorted but plainly obvious young Kristopher Kristoph... toting a rocket launcher out of a car that's flying through the air.

He knows.

“Strange that this security footage from a terrorist attack on a research lab has your father, and very similar technology to the Guerrila you fought today, isn't it? Strange that you could pick up and use that weapon as if you were familiar with it. Maybe because you were? Because your father, a terrorist working for that same 'organization' you kept mentioning trained you how to use it?”

You go a little pale, but he just continues on. “He killed six One-Stars before attacking Matoi. And yet, strangely, when you attempt to sneak attack him, he only incapacitates and threatens you. See, I think it's because he's here to cement your cover as an infiltrator by attacking you, making it look real, and letting you get the drop on him.”

He slams one hand down on the desk and tugs at his collar, three starts threatening to glimmer.

“No more lies, Kristoph! What are you doing in this school? Are you working with the Guerrila? Don't make me get the answer myself...”

This is bad. This is really, really bad. If you don't give him a good answer, he may well just kill you here. Before you crack under the pressure, you decide to answer with...

It's easy to fake the shock at hearing this news. After all, you still haven't quite got over it yourself.

You think back to yesterday, to that complete overwhelming feeling you had, and add in a nice hint of mortal terror from the Elite Four member threatening to torture and kill you, and it just kind of flows naturally.

“I... wh... n-n-no! I didn't... I mean... this is just... how... what...?! My dad walks with a cane! He's blind in one eye! H-how could he-”

Bright blue wires that look strangely like Life Fibers emerge from Inumuta's Uniform as it becomes battle-ready. “Hospital records show someone with a DNA match to your father being treated for crippling injuries two days after this picture was taken. More to the point, when I sent two No-Stars to your new house, your father already moved. Gone to ground already, spy?”

“S-s... no! No, I'm not a-”

“Of course you're not. That's why all the evidence is piled against you. That's why you've modified your Uniform to give you a higher Life Fiber count than other One-Stars. Because it's a coincidence. Obviously. Give it up, Heinrich. Tell me what you know and I might help you.”

Your... what? Your Life Fiber count? Is he... did your Life Fiber Overcharge make your Uniform stronger? If that's the case... if that's the case, then maybe, maybe if you use it, you can make your escape. He won't be expecting it, so if you can blindside him with-

All thoughts of fleeing the tower are silenced when the familiar clacking of a single heel rings through the room.

Wait, what? Seriously, I'm only about halfway through the archives. When did this happen?!
>>

I'm guessing it's either an accident or NB tampering with his uniform,I don't think Henrich knows enough about life fibres to deliberately add more to his uniform

It was the consequence of invoking your Life Fiber Overcharge fighting to save Mako. Inumuta doesn't know you can do it.

Inumuta is silenced immediately, and stands straight at attention. He's obviously just as surprised as you. “S-Satsuki-sama! I-”

“Inumuta, your evidence against this student is entirely based on his father's actions?”

“I... Satsuki-sama, if you look at the circumstances, then-”

“If that's the case, then am I guilty for the actions of my mother?”

Inumuta turns as pale as you were, and while you're just confused, he blusters for a moment, caught off-guard. “I... b-no, of course not, but-”

“Then it stands to reason that this student should not be punished for the sins of his father. Did you not tell me yourself that the Guerilla's weapon was 'designed so a monkey could fire it?'”

To his credit, he recovers quickly, bowing low to her. “Yes, Satsuki-sama. Forgive me. I will not make this mistake again.”

You can see a very faint smile in her eyes, though it's not on her face. “Zeal for one's duty is not something to be apologized for.”

“Yes, Satsuki-sama.”

Then she turns to you, with that piercing blue gaze again. You can almost feel yourself wither underneath it. The sheer charisma of this woman is enough to be a weapon.

“Heinrich Kristoph... you said you fear masks. I do not fear them-I loathe them. Remember that. You are dismissed.”

Knowing better than to take your chances with actually asking for an interview-Boss will figuratively kill you, but they might ACTUALLY do it-you beeline for the elevator and call for the ground floor.

After a minute of descending, you slump back against the wall and try to gather your thoughts. Where to go from here? Classes are over, but the sun is setting, so most clubs will be ending soon. You still don't know where Ryuko is at, or how she got out. The 'bugs know about your interview though, so they'll want a report.

You decide to...

No one was there when you got to headquarters-which made sense, it was late and all. But there were pictures that had to be put to print, and Boss insisted on a good number of them being developed through 'proper film.' Which was strange, because you had to go through a lengthy process of re-creating negatives to develop just so you could use the dark room.

But it was quiet work that gave you time to think. Inumuta was obviously trying to get information, looking back-so while he managed to find out about your father, he couldn't find out everything about you.

You managed to get some intel too-apparantely, your Life Fiber Overcharge creates new Life Fibers. That's probably when the Sewing Needle got it's own Life Fiber thread, and why you've been recovering even quicker than normal.

Then you hear a click behind you-a familiar click. The click of a gun being cocked back. You freeze, silently letting your Needle slip into your palm.

"Heinrich, I presume?"

The voice is immediately familiar. "You're that- How did you?"

The boy shrugs with his free hand. "It's rather simple, I just asked one of the club members."

He has you by the short hairs, and you know it, but you can't let him see. So you grit your teeth and narrow your eyes. "What do you want, why are you here?"

"It's simple, I'm here to ask something else. Would you like to hear my proposition? I finally heard about you from another exchange student who we both know. You've left quite the crumb trail."

You know that if you wanted, you could take him out before he could shoot. A little flick of the wrist would send the Needle flying. But... the only other exchange student you know is Ryuko. And if Ryuko trusts him...

The boy in the wheelchair speaks first. "Because they enemy of my friend is still my..."
