You are Layla Miller, and you are very, very confused. See, You'd just gotten back from killing Dan "Steel eye" hart, and from a disillusion filled walk through a savanah with three new holes in your chest, shouting at things only you could see, at least you hope they weren't real.

But now a rather excitable boy is asking how you killed an entire bandit camp single handedly and he isn't the first two. Looks like rumors spread fast, you want to meet whoever started this one and shake their hand because this is hilarious, if slightly annoying due to the six or so people who've come up to you like you were some kind of idol or something, not that you're complaining, but still, it loses it's charm rather quickly.

You look at his shining eyes as he babbles on and on, you aren't really paying attention, your mind is on darker thoughts. Mostly about how close you came to dying in that dammed place, of course you aren't troubled by the fact, you're troubled by how it took only three bullets to put you in such a state, You thought it would take more than that to end you and send you to your just fate.

"are you even listening?" He asks sounding hurt "cause it looks like you aren't". how can this thing be as skilled as you at killing?

What do you do

Also i've been thinking about seeing if this quest would be better with a first person perspective, so I want to ask you guys if that's alright

Also figured out how turning into a vampire would work, and the rewards and weakness given. Which I think you'll enjoy if you do go down that path

You glare at him coldly, causing his eyes to fill with rushing terror as he stammers, clearly thinking this is how he dies, which makes you smile, on the inside at least.

"I.I..I" he says falling to the ground, already drenched in sweat as you move forward quickly, before walking past him, hands in the pockets of your cat eared hoodie. You hear him laughing slightly, a laugh of terror, like laughing on a roller coaster or as you fall off a bridge. You're in the courtyard, And like usual when you're out here, you're bored out of your mind, well the parts not filled with various horrible thoughts, ideas, and urges that is.

You stop and stand still, tilting your head as you ponder what you should do.

What do you do?

>>
Thermite, I need to make some Thermite, why I should make some I don't know. But I do know it's effects are rather beautiful, and deadly. I've never really used it before, but I've watched videos of it in action and read deeply on how to make it without ending up a burnt crisp.

I nearly walk into someone as I think about The wonderful delight of thermite, I don't pay any attention to them as they apologize, I have death to make and I can't be distracted by anything else.

After some walking through the ever present crowds, I come to the field that Mr fraust holds class, looks more like a warzone, and smells similar to a smoking crater, truly a wonderful place. The man himself is sitting cross legged filling some carboard tubes with gunpowder, I think he may be trying to make fire works, or charges of some kind. Whatever he is making, his face looks like it was carved from stone from the lack of movement and dead gaze in his eyes.

"Hi" I say as I sit down next to him, causing him to nod in acknowledgment of my presences "care to help me make some thermite?". He shakes his head.

"Can't, sorry" he says without turning to face me "Not allowed to on school grounds, you can makes some as long as it's not enough to cause any serious damage".

"Shame, I thought we could bound as teacher and student over it" I say as I get out the necessary supplies, borrowing what I need from Fraust. After some toil and a few heart pounding moments where I thought I was about to burst into flames
I made one batch of thermite

I wave goodbye to mr fraust as I walk off smiling to my next destination, visiting a friend who's in desperate need of some socialization.

I walk up the familiar path, the sea air raising my sadistic glee as I feel my legs speed up in anticipation for playing with my little nun.

I open the creaking door and find Ms stone having a spot of tea with the tied and gagged nun, who looks up at me with tired eyes and begins screaming as well as she can
(cont)
>>
She falls out of the chair from her struggles and continues to squirm on the ground, tears of fear running down her cheeks, wetting the planks her face rests on

"Hiiiiii" I say waving at her "I have something special in mind for you". She screams a muffled scream again, causing Ms stone to giggle cruelly, like a queen eating cake in front of her starving subjects

What do I have in store for her?

Never give the enemy any kind of force multiplier, such as Vampirism.

Give this bitch a pinch of thermite in the blood stream, for science of course.

Ms Stone still wants us on that table.
>>
>>35436208

>>
>>35436329

Anything that counts as us taking her virginity, thus she I truly broken.

Alternately, find out where she's from, destroy the place with a poison or virus while making the nun watch. Then we break her...
>>
>>35436547
I think she is already pretty broken.
>>
>>35436334
Or you could just apply some common old garden spices to it.

Theres a reason folks go to A and E when cunnilingus happens after a hot curry
>>
>>35436573
Yeah, soon we can probably even have her around unrestrained without fear of her running away or trying to hurt us.
Nun, nun, it rhymes with fun.
>>
>>35436573
>>35436638

Not enough, she still has something close to her...

Take it and then she is truly broken. She would be wet putty in our hands, something to mould to our preference.

You want a test subject? Leave her broken.

You want a pet? torture her into her role.

Want a companion? Induce amnesia and play nice with her. She'll love you like a child.
>>
>>35436696
But the screaming and crying and whimpering is what makes it fun.
>>
I approach her and drag her away with some effort, as Ms. Stone munches on a cookie that is probably laced with arsenic or some other nasty yet wonderful thing. I smile as I wipe away the tears from her face with a gentleness not unlike a mother towards a hurt child.

"Doooon't crrrry" I say in a slightly sing songy tone as she tries and get away from me, her eyes filled with hatred and fear "IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE, now lie still, if I miss, you may die, and we wouldn't want that now would we". I take my knife and cut thin cuts along her arms, not enough to cause any permanent damage, but enough to hurt her, bad. I pull the gag out of her mouth, and she tries to bite me, but she's gotten slow, and a hold her mouth open with hand as I quickly cut her tongue, filling her mouth with blood as she bites down, leaving marks and hurt in my fingers. I wipe the blood off the blade on her shirt, before putting the gag back in, a piece of cloth the turns a wonderful scarlet . Then I grab her necklace and start playing with it for a while, causing her to squirm as she tries to make me stop, so I pull, Threatening to break the one thing that keeps her from breaking entirely. The noises she makes are music to my ears, I let go and see relief spread through her tear stained face. So I kick her a few times in the stomach, stopping once she starts retching.

"Pitiful" You say cruelly "So is this in gods plan, to be tortured and treated like a dog, well is it?". She glares at me, with enough hate to kill a small community, still tinged with fear.

"Next time, take her to her room before you start Playing" Ms stone says sipping on some tea "want some, it's my own special blend". Her smile is like mine, friendly and let unnerving due to the amount of teeth shown. Her Unnatural grey hair rustles slighty

"Sure, I need something to calm down anyway" I say sitting in the chair the nun was sitting in until I came in. She sips on from the cup before pouring me a cup, it's steams slight and is a light pink color. I grab the slightly chipped cup and drink it, tasting the distinct flavor of arsenic, which I'd made before from apple seeds as one of my first forays into poison. I lick my lips, smiling at the familiar flavor accented by a...rosey taste? I shift my tongue around on the after taste, which tastes like sweetened bog water.

"Arsenic" I say "wonderful little thing isn't it, doesn't taste right in tea though, maybe cake or something would be better, just some cooking advice". Stone smiles at me.

"Well aren't you a clever one" she says "though I already knew that, any reason why you're still drinking from it". I put the cup down and swallow

"I like fresh tea" I say "and arsenic is one of the many things my body can just toss off like an old pair of shoes". She nods

"It will be wonderful to test your resistances" She sighs "but enough about that, anything you wish to talk about?". I sip on my somewhat subpar tea, thinking about what to say. Should I tell her about the blood, I guess I should, wait, vampire Ms stone, that's a chilling thought, Oh wait I know how to get around this.

"Do you believe in vampires?" I ask "My roommate is terrified of them". She stops, the cup in her hand cracking as she sets it down. and takes a deep breath.

"I've been in this guild sense I was a little girl" she says "I've seen plenty of weird things, a man with no heart who got back up every time you killed him, makes wonderful fertilizer by the way, a thing that was both wolf and man, let neither, the headmaster in a thong after he lost a bet, eeeergh". She takes a long sip of tea shaking her head.

I look down at the little of my tea left, swirling it a round as Allie's eyes glare into my soul, a cold cunning behind them. I rest my head into my left hand and sigh deeply, closing my eyes.

"My roommate wouldn't leave me alone about it" I say with a tint of fake annoyance "So I started to think what you could do with vampires blood, if they were real, that is". Ms stone grabs a red cookie with a cross on it, I have a feeling that has something to with the nun, already a vampire ms stone, blood is a poor substitute for milk.

"Well" She says "it depends, I imagine it could briefly influence lesser minds, not to the degree of their own powers of course, maybe make a corpse shamble about for a few minutes, if one was smart enough they could feasibly make a regeneration substance, but that would require someone far beyond your skill level". She sips on her tea "if they were real of course". Her smile is daring me to break down in fear, but fear is my plaything, not others. I munch on a cookie, trying to look serious

"How?!" She growls

"Roommate needed help killing someone, helped" I say calmly with a smile "Theoretically of course, as they aren't real ". She sit back down, glaring at me.

"What do you want" She says looking up, her hair a mess and her eyes looking pitiful.

"Oh nothing much" I say rocking back and forth excitedly "just, access to any of your poisons, free reign in any experiments, and we turn the nun now, once she is properly subdued.

"MRRRMPH" the nun says shaking her head "NRRRF". .

"Shut up" I say wagging a finger "people are talking". Ms stone takes a sip of poisoned tea and tilts her head, before giggling a quite demented laugh, the exact opposite of mine

"Fine" she says giggling "But there's a limit to what you can take, and You're still be on my table one of these days".

"Fine by me" I say holding hand out "shake on it?". She grabs my hand, her touch clammy and wet.

"it's agreed then" she says clapping her hands like a child "Lets get her to her room shall we". She gets up and I follow, watching her grab the screaming and kicking nun by the hair as she drags her to the small basement door, opening and beckoning me to follow. I do grinning at the crying nun as we descend.

The room is barren except for a bed, a bowl used for the nun's food, and a small wooden chair, some chains and manacles on the wall, and a wall devoted to a mirror, Ms stone is fun like that.

I put the bag on the ground, throwing up some dust as I grab one of my precious syringes. Ms stone stares at it intensely.

The nun stares at you angrily, unable to kick or punch or bite. I flick the syringe, mocking how doctors do similar to stop their patients from getting air in the veins. The nun growls as I slowly approach, laughing, and then howling madly as I tend to do. That breaks her spirit and she begins to sob as the needle slowly pierces her skin

I press down, she shrieks as the taint turns her veins a sickly purple as it spreads throughout her systems. She starts spasming and moaning before falling still.
For several minutes, she stands still limp, and dead. And then a finger twitches, the gag is torn to shreds and she stands, straining at the chains holding her back, eyes a devilish red and her teeth having two fangs. I notice her hands are tipped with claws

strange, Thradrick didn't have claws, maybe he was self conscious. She snarls and bites at me, comes close, not close enough.

"Fuck" She says "Yoooou". Smoke rises from her chest, and blood from her eyes, she looks in pain

"Love you to" I say giggling "also it's unseemly for a nun to curse like that, though you aren't a nun are you now?". Ms stone is clapping,

"Looks like you're god doesn't want you anymore" I say staring in those beautiful crimson eyes "he's trying to smite you isn't he".

"Fuckkyou" She snarls before thrashing her arms around like a whiny child "Fuckyoufuckyoufuckyoufuckyoufuckyoufuckyoufuckyooooou". I smile widely, giggling at the display.

"It must huuuuurt" I say looking at the cross burning into her flesh "I'd take it off for you". she glares at me

"Leave" she says trying to sound scary, sorry doesn't work on me.

"Ooooh I can't leave a friend in pain" I say smiling wider "beg if you want it to stop, come on it will only get worse"

"I won't give into your darkness, demon" she says wincing "I won't"

"Oh but you're worse then me" I say laughing "a wretch that feeds on others, left by her god, in the hands of two monsters like us, it's really quite sad, all I want to do is end the pain, but if you don't want it i'll just". I begin to walk away

"Take it" she says "I can keep faith in my heart, by please by god's grace take it off me". I turn and see her face stained red. I get up close, she doesn't try to bite me as I pull as hard as I can, breaking the fragile chain and necklace in it's entirerty. She begins to sob as I turn the thing round and a round my hand

"See isn't that better?" I coo wiping the blood tears from her face. she doesn't respond with anything but sobs. I shrug and walk away

Regen serum. Not zombification.
>>
>>35439449
The regen serum will take more time, the zombie serum goes faster and it gives us experience working with the stuff.
>>
>>35439421
You can write it in the first person and then change it to the second person before you post it.
>>
>>35439449
Regen will take a long time even with advance equipment you don't have

>>
>>35439421
I like Layla's first person perspective. It enhances her twisted world view.
>>
>>35439471
The zombie serum doesn't do enough for us. It's more of a novelty item (seriously we need bodies on hand if we want to use it and if we can kill people like that then shambling zombies aren't going to be much help anyhow). The regen serum is actually pretty valuable.

Sounds good, lets do that.

>>35439516
Headmaster has made it more then clear we aren't going to get regen for a long time. Without the zombie, we aren't getting anything out of this deal. And zombies are useful for missions like the last one, we can have them shamble right into the middle of the enemy with a handgranate, have them work as meatshields for us. Its useful.

I wipe the blood on my sweats, don't want to lick that, this isn't nearly a dramatic enough moment to, noone to mess with and ms stone would chain me up as well, which may be fun, if I could leave.

"Don't worry" I say smiling softly, kissing the sobbing wreck on the forehead "We'll take good care of you, keep you all nice and fed". Her eyes remind you of the ones at the dance, seemed like so long ago, same questioning and fear, you missed that look

"Well anyone want some tea?" I ask clapping my hands together happily

The tea party is rather dull with ms stone nearly singing in happiness and dancing around. You leave the shack after another cup of tea, Ms stone staring at me as I leave

"well that was fun" I say happily as I walk down the wooden walk way. And then I realize, it's still the start of the day, and boredom comes quicker than death

Why didn't we grab any? That was pretty much the point of the requests, since we don't get to stock up when we leave for a mission, we have really no reason to not keep these things on-hand.
>>
>>35439948
Because we don't need them right now? If we go on a mission it's cool, but if we're just going to experiment, we're going to miss stone anyway.
>>

I don't see any point to go to Ms Stone before going to a mission, if we can just have that stuff on hand. Otherwise we run the risk of once again going without stocking up before and not having it because we didn't remember to rbing it.

He looks at me, takes a box from his pocket, pulls a cigarette out of it, lights it, taking a long drag so most of is ash by the time he is done. "Roofies are a nonono, so is bulletproof vest since I don't think there are any that can fit ya squirt" he says smoke bellowing from his mouth "We have ten knives left after the fuck with golden hair took nearly a hundred of the fucking things, we have four fireworks leftover, and everything else is perfectly fine, for five hundred bucks". He smiles, smoke flowing through his teeth like a dragon

I'm not even going to bother calling bullshit on that, but I think we can agree that Layla definitly can't, since most people can't. Especially not such diverse languages as arabian and mandarin.(And I wonder why he specified "mandarin" but still said "arabian").

>I think we can agree that Layla definitly can't, since most people can't.
You'd be surprised, once you've learned 3-4 dissimilar languages, your language learning speed gets really fast.
>>
>>35442902
There is about as much one "arabic" language as there is one "chinese" language. Mandarin is the common form of chinese just as the peninsular dialect of arabic the the common form of arabian because the arab league uses it.
Several varieties of arabic are just as mutually intelligible to eachother as mandarin is to cantonese.
>>
>>35442953
And Layla, a girl who gets bored easily could learn those languages?
>>
>>35442953
No, no I wouldn't be surprised because that obvious.
But Layla doesn't speak 3-4 languages. Once you start crossreferencing languages that are related obviously it gets faster, but Layla can't do that.
>>
>>35442980
I think so. We might have to get a bit more hardcore (like take a trip somewhere for immersion learning; in one week you walk out conversationally proficient in the language because it's the only way you're gonna communicate).
>>
>>35443056
She would just kill people when she can't talk to them otherwise. Lets start learning one language and see how well she deals with that.
Spanish or french is always useful, and easier to learn for a anglophone than anything not indo-european.
>>
>>35443000
>Once you start crossreferencing languages that are related obviously it gets faster
Well, there is that, yes, but actually your ability to rapidly absorb new words and grammars improves with that kind of understanding and experience. I was already trilingual by the age of 8, I think.
>>
>>35442980
she could trick herself into thinking that if she dosen't learn them she looses a bet
>>
>>35443100
Its easier to learn languages when you are younger, I was trilingual by that age too, because I grew up in aplace where people spoke three different languages in 10km radius around me.
But that train is long gone for Layla, she has to do it the hard way.
>>
>>35443094
That's my idea too, the rest is just material for later. Except I would pick arabic or something.

When you pick a language that's "easier" and more closely related to a language you already know, there is a bad tendency to try to shoehorn one language into another or convert a word from one language to the other like that.

It's better to pick up proper experience in learning a brand new language (although I wouldn't pick mandarin for that, writing system is fucking insane) to develop those skills.

I guess arabic.

Eh, its not that hard, once you developed a eye for it, its just learning the signs. Its a lot of work, but nor "complicated" as such.

See, I decide to take a tweak it ever so slightly
so if you ever decide to RENOUNCE YOUR HUMANITY JUST LIKE DIO WOULDA DONE
you will gain the stock vampire powers and weakness
as well as a choice of 4 bonuses, and 4 drawbacks (1 each)
You'd get more power as you devour more people
first in increments of ten
then hundreds

[x] Night Shift

Lets learn a thing or two about medicine. And "medicine."
>>
>>35444851
[X] NIGHT SHIFT.

>>35444898
We should save that for the morning.
>>
>>35444851

I run though the halls, my destination in mind as terrible wonderful beautiful thoughts of malpractice fill my mind. time to meet the night shift. A swift journey through the chilled air and witnessing the hormone driven affections of my peers in shadowy places and under trees, and I am in the medical ward. Smiling widely and freely as I look for those who gave me the most wonderful concoction last time I visited . Humming all the way

And unless you wish to RENOUNCE YOUR HUMANITY
I think we'll end here
I'll be around the answer questions and talk
Also the guy who was going to write the Smut a few threads ago
are you still with us?
>>
>>35445067
Why did the nun develop claws?
>>
>>35445098
As said previously
one ability
one draw back
outside of the norm
when you start out
one of her choices gave her claws
>>

>I think we'll end here
Aww. I was looking forward to getting to know the night shift.
>>
>>35445135
next thread and I need to think of their madness
>>
>>35445132
Oh yeah, can we use our choices to negate drawbacks?

And would you allow us to pick a "scared of holy objects" drawback so we can use the fearless perk to overcome it?
>>
>>35445162
Fair enough.
>>
>>35445166
The first batch of powers and drawbacks have been decided
I can give you there names if you wish
>>
>>35445166
I think that the Fearless perk would make us unafraid of holy symbols. They would probably still hurt and would make us slightly uncomfortable though
>>
>>35445204
Would be nice.
>>
>>35445272
Powers
1: Poisonous blood
2: Wings (can be taken at nearly anytime and changes if taken later, appearance wise and other ways)
3: mouth full of fangs
4: Ghoul bite

drawbacks
1[] ravenous
2[] cold as death
3[] dancing corpse (your blood fails to realized you're not dead, your wounds require more blood to heal and take longer to, and you walk a bit stiff
4[] light aversion (sudden lights hurt your eyes)
>>
Anyone still around?
>>
>>35445504
Yeah. Those powers aren't exciting. Neither are those drawbacks, really.

I'd pass on becoming a vampire with those options.
>>
>>35445415
Do we still get stock vampire powers like mesmerism, fangs, speed/strength, nightvision?

If so, do we also get stock weaknesses?
>>
>>35445530
Poisonous blood isn't exciting?
>>
>>35445546
Yes
>>
>>35445549
Not really. We should be covered on poisons anyway and vampire powers that cost blood loss sound like a bad idea.
>>
>>35445549
Layla is at a stage where she could already poison her blood if she wanted that.
>>
>>35445579
Well it also means no other pire could drink your blood
>>
>>35445613
Not enough to effect someone else unless you count shoddy blood tranfusion as poison
>>
>>35445575
What stock weaknesses would we get?
>>
>>35445750
Oh
sunlight vulnerability if you go without feeding
in ability to cross water in you haven't fed in a while
weakness to holy symbols and artifacts
Heightened sense of smell
Mirror's don't work
and a slight complusion of counting
and weakness if you don't feed.
>>
>>35445798
and what stock powers?
>>
>>35445940
Increased Physical attributes
Immortality, to a point
Creature of the night
fangs of course
slight regeneration
>>
>>35445798
I'd be interested in these powers then:
>abstemiousness (need to feed less to maintain your strength)
>Conceal vampiric nature ("mirrors work," "others do not benefit from drinking your blood," and suppressing fangs/other powers unless you want them)

But many of those drawbacks still aren't pleasant. Not sure I'd want to pick any powers with those kinds of drawbacks.
>>
>>35445995
first batch
they're meant to shape the basis of what Vamp layla would be like, and future powers
Other powers would come and I'd most certainly use those ones since they are useful. just need to eat ten people
>>
>>35446075
They're like freakshow powers.

Pass.
>>
>>35446241
And that matters why?
>>
>>35446292
...cause we're not interested in that? Leastways, I'm not.
>>
>>35446292
It matters because those powers are almost also drawbacks on their own.
>>
>>35446316
neither am I

and the whole 'no aging or growing' thing is crap, so I wouldn't even consider becoming a vamp unless its the only way or when we're much much older

it just ain't attractive enough so no vamp for us
>>
>>35446336
Honestly the drawback side of those powers is enough for a DO NOT WANT. And then you add drawbacks we pick on top of that.

Yeeugh.

Do not want.
>>
>>35446336
How so, i can change them if I wish
>>
>>35446381
I do not see how they're draw backs
>>
>>35446383
Why do you want to force us into becoming a vampire?

As it stands, it ain't anywhere near worth even considering with the amount of drawbacks that would cripple us as an assassin and just hinder our daily life, especially with Layla being as flippant and impulsive as she is.

It just does not make sense to go vamp for Layla.
>>
>>35446422
>>35446422
I'm not, I'm just curious as the why you see them as draw backs, I just like talking about it since I like to plan ahead incase it does happen
>>
>>35446358
Aye, guess we're staying human.

That shit is bad.

>>35446383
Because all those powers come with a side of creepy shit that gives away we're not exactly human. I mean walking around with wings or weird poison blood or mouth full of fangs...
>>
>>35446448
Wings would be able to be hidden
poison blood can't be seen
and who the fuck looks at teeth close enough to notice that unless you're a foot away from them
>>
>>35446470
You telling me you aint never noticed bad teeth before?

People open their mouths to speak. When you have full rows of deformed teeth it kinda shows.

Poison blood can be seen when we get injured, which seems to be a thing that happens.

Hiding wings doesn't sound good either, unless we can suppress/grow them at will.
>>
>>35446501
You have a point there, but body modification is a thing
Wouldn't look much different than normal blood
And they can since otherwise you couldn't get into doors logically
>>
>>35446527
I can't bring myself to be interested in these powers, really. Maybe the wings, but I'd still pass since they seem to scream "VAMPIRE" whenever we use them.

Also you made reference to there being some sort of advantage to drinking the blood of an ancient vampire (as opposed to the nun). I'm not exactly seeing it.
>>
>>35446643
and you'd only use them when the people are going to die anyways.
>>
>>35446643
>Maybe the wings, but I'd still pass since they seem to scream "VAMPIRE" whenever we use them.
Basically they seem to be a super situational power. But in exchange we'd pick up one of those "ruin your life" drawbacks.
>>
>>35446527
>body modification is a thing
Yes, it is. If we wanted a row of sharp teeth we wouldn't need to become a vampire to do it.
>>
>>35446684
Cold as death isn't really a ruin your life one
the corpse dance is a bad one
as is ravenous
light sensitivity doesn't blind you, just hurts your eyes slight before the adjusted to SUDDEN flashes of light.
>>
>>35446643
It's not being a weakling vampire that can barely beat a human in a strength test
>>
>>35446724
>Cold as death isn't really a ruin your life one
Any physical contact gives us away.

I was actually considering ravenous as one of the better drawbacks, since it sucks but we can sorta deal with that (order more blood, I guess) without ruining our daily life.
>>
>>35446759
I like corpse dance because I love the image of an nigh unkillable man beast walking towards some poor bastard despite missing most of their limbs

then again that's me, and I''m the qm, so my opinions don't matter any ways since i'm just writing what you guys choose to do anyways
>>
>>35446759
>ravenous as one of the better drawbacks
And that speaks volumes on its own.

Yeah, we're done here. Layla is staying human.
>>
>>35446799
And I don't care.
>>
>>35446815
In that case I might be done with the quest. This doesn't sound like it's headed anywhere good.
>>
>>35446880
I think its more he doesn't have an opinion one way or the other if we pick vampire or not, and not so much not caring about what we want and railroading.

It was not exactly worded well.
>>
>>35446880
And I again don't care, as I run this for fun, And I meant I don't care by I don't care if you choose human or vampire
>>
>>35446815
Don't be like that, no one likes a qm who thinks his stuff is flawless and it's the players fault for not liking it. Most of the powers are not even close to being worth the drawbacks.
>>
>>35446900
I'm tired, I don't think when tired
>>
>>35446925
then maybe you should go to bed and think about why no one likes the powers you listed combined with the drawbacks when you get up
>>
>>35446925
Time for bed HM
>>
>>35446915
It ain't like that anon, OP just wasn't clear, his writing gets like that when he's tired.
>>
>>35446915
When did I say that.
What powers would you want then, since I am open to change them
>>
>>35446982
We mentioned two of them.

But with those drawbacks it's hard to imagine anything, really.
>>
>>35446943
You're probably right
>>
>>35447047
Those powers would make it to0 easy being a vampire, you'd be an abomination unto god. I see those as higher tier abilities, hell it may be better to incorporate lesser forms of them in some form since if for some reason you went vamp, you'd have very potent blood in. actually that's rather clever. And i wouldn't come up with it unless you slapped me in the face telling me my ideas were shit
thank you anon
>>
>>35447094
Well if we're not getting ahead, we wouldn't do it.

The usual speed/strength/regen is spiffy but ultimately if we keep doing PE and get ourselves that suit of armor and learn better first aid we're going to improve on those bases anyhow.

What that basically means is that we're going to put in time/effort into improving our character, but if we have an option to take a boost now for a bunch of nasty drawbacks we can't overcome (unlike our current weaknesses which we can), then it's a bad deal.
>>
>>35447206
I'm keeping the poisonous blood
because I like it, and I can't throw it away
And no first aid can't save you from all injuries, it isn't a fully stocked hospital. it can save you from a good ammount of shit
and a suit of armor wouldn't really be wise since it'd make you stand out
>>
>>35447243
I meant the kevlar/bulletproof type stuff.

And I know first aid can't save us from all injuries, but it would improve our recovery time similar to how PE and a vest would improve our resilience.

We might not be SUPER on those fronts, but we could cover them to a solid level.

We're kinda hoping to cover our weaknesses while being good at stuff, not grab more weaknesses so we can get our shit slapped.
>>
>>35447286
>I meant the kevlar/bulletproof type stuff.
Basically a vest you could wear under your clothes.
>>
>>35447286
Layla's biggest weakness
which is being crumpled like paper in a straight on fight, which tends to happen when you fail a stealth roll or do something foolish
would be solved somewhat with the durability of a vampire
but you're right,
You can do the same as a human
i just like typing renounce your humanity everynow and again
