The tables have turned very quickly, due to the apparent weakness of Raditz's tail. He groans as he tries to push himself up, but doesn't seem to have the strength.

You hear Piccolo laughing nearby.

With Raditz immobilized, you take the opportunity to attack again. Your kicks to his face and back don't seem to actually be hurting him much, but they're clearly making him very angry. And, with him unable to do anything about it, you simply continue what you're doing, getting some frustration out.

"B-brother," Raditz groans. "I beg of you, have mercy."

"Mercy? Why should I show you any of that?!" Goku demands. "You come to my world, you threaten my friends, you kidnap my son! What makes you deserve mercy?"

"Please...you can't kill me, I'm your brother," Raditz insists.

"I don't have a brother!" Goku tells him.

"Please, I meant you no harm..." Raditz cries.

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" Goku asks.

"It's the truth!" Raditz vows. "I only took the boy to convince you to join us. Once I was sure that wouldn't work, I planned to leave the two of you in peace. I could never kill my own flesh and blood. Please, let me go, and I promise I will never bother you again. I'll never harm another person. I'll tell the others to leave Earth in peace!"

Goku steps back as Raditz begins to rise.

You launch yourself at him, trying to grab his tail, but Raditz is simply too fast. He turns, slamming his right elbow into Goku's chest. As Goku falls to the ground, Raditz punches you in the chest with his left hand, knocking the wind out of you and knocking you away, crashing to the ground in terrible pain.

Raditz turns, stomping on Goku's chest as he attempts to get up. Goku cries out in pain, and does so again, and again, and again, ad Raditz repeatedly stomps on his wounded brother.

"Really, you're far too soft, Kakarot," he comments as his tail wraps around his waist. "It's clear now that you really don't have what it takes to be a true Saiyan warrior. I, on the other hand, and a warrior of the highest class, and won't let any useless familial sentiments slow me down."

As Goku cries out in agony, you struggle to even sit up. Gohan stands in front of you, trembling as he watches his father being brutally attacked by his uncle. Something seems different about Gohan, however, and it takes you a moment to realize what it is.

He's trembling with rage, not fear.

"St-stop it...." he growls.

Raditz doesn't seem to hear him, laughing and continuing to stomp on his younger brother.

"Stop it....." Gohan repeats.

If Raditz attacks Goku and Gohan right now, they're going to die. But he's hurt, and distracted. If you can keep him that way maybe Goku can to something, or Piccolo can use his attack.

It's a struggle, but you force yourself to stand. Raditz, still coughing and slightly hunched, one hand covering his chest, glares and growls at you.

"Have you not learned your lesson, boy?" he demands.

You don't answer, but throw yourself at Raditz with everything you have. He doesn't even bother blocking the attack, no doubt expecting it to be unable to hurt him like normal.

A cracking sound and his scream of pain lets you know that he was wrong as you bring your foot into his nose.

Blood runs down his face and his hands shoot up to cover his nose as he staggers backwards.

Raditz struggles harder, but Goku holds him firm, preventing his brother from escaping as the beam reaches them. It passes right through each of their chests, leaving gaping holes as the two fall to the ground.

"Damn you...Kakarot...." Raditz gasps.

"Daddy!" Gohan cries, running to his father's side.

It is crazy for a human five year old to be that strong, even in DBZ, so it needs to be explained. I think people latch onto saiyan because that would actually explain it sorta. My guess is that if we take the scouter and the other two saiyans don't know about the balls, they will still come, only later. Eventually, they might investigate what happened to Raditz. We'd have more time to prepare, but we wouldn't know we'd NEED to prepare. Also, Piccolo will still be a dick.

You bend down and pull the device off of Raditz's face. He glares at you, but is hardly in a position to do anything about it. His attention quickly goes back to Piccolo as you fiddle with the device.

"How in the hell can they bring him back? Tell me!" Raditz demands.

"Fine, on Earth we have what we call "Dragon Balls". When all seven are gathered, they can grant any wish," Piccolo explains. "That includes bringing the dead back to life. So you see, Goku is the one who will have the last laugh."

"You're wrong about that," Raditz tells him.

"What are you talking about?" Piccolo demands.

"The device the boy just took from me works as a transmitter," Raditz explains. "My comrades heard every word. Now they'll come, I know they will."

"H-how long?" Goku asks. "How long until they come?"

"I'd say you have about a year," Raditz tells him. "I hope you enjoy it. Because when they come, there will be nothing you can do to stop them. They are....far more powerful than I. And they will tear you all apart. I just hope I'm back in time to see it...."

Raditz begins to laugh, growing louder and louder until Piccolo silences him for good.

Why do the saiyans and other aliens even bother to wear armor?
Nobody ever during the entire run of the show has ever said something like "Oh thank god I had my armor on otherwise that attack would have killed me." Vegeta's armor couldn't even stop a regular ass human-made katana.
Goku and his buddies just fight in their workout jammies all the time and it never seems to matter, armor or clothes get either completely fucked or not even touched at all, the only difference is that you can't see the outlines of their junk underneath.

I'm not sure what OP has planned, but I like the idea that we're from the moon, or something. The Dragonballs are a bit too special for someone like us; that's the kind of thing that couldn't go un-noticed in the lore.

Plus, it gives us a plotline. Piccolo blows up the moon; angry Lunarians come looking for revenge; we fight for our friend against our own people, who are quite justified in their anger; we have to make a choice, or negotiate between the Z-Fighters and Lunarians.

Plus, pulling the whole, "Whoa, you're a girl?! A PRINCESS?!" thing seems very Toriyama, or is that just my opinion?
