You are Urist Twelfthbay, a short, sturdy creature fond of drink and industry. More to the point, you are the moe personification of Dwarf Fortress. That’s not as strange as it could be; everyone who’s anyone in Gamindustri is a pointlessly cute girl. Apparently, that’s just how the world works, so you’ve long since stopped questioning it. However- and this is an important distinction- you will never, ever stop /judging/ whatever depraved deity created Gamindustri to be their very own magical realm.

Whatever the reason for your existence as an un-dwarvenly beardless dwarf who looks more like a schoolgirl from some sort of Chinese cartoon, you were an adventurer unaffiliated with any one nation. You weren’t even registered in the International Guild, since you never learned any better and didn’t bother to learn. Apparently, that was enough to mark you as an extreme freelancer, marking you as either not working well with others or being some sort of paranoid conspiracy nut convinced that the government’s out to get them.

On your last dungeon run, though, you were lucky enough to bump into Ester, one of Lowee’s most venerable heroes (although you certainly couldn’t tell just by looking at her). You also ended up with a chunk of Sharicite large enough to be worth bucketloads of money, so you immediately turned around and fenced it to the patron goddess of Lowee. That’s fine, since only goddesses can use Sharicite, and you’re perfectly content with enough money to keep yourself boozed up for months.

Immediately after /that/, you were attacked by giant flies who claimed to know you from somewhere (fuck if you can remember, though), and some guildless fucktards wrecked half a block trying to fight them off. You agreed to join the International Guild to more easily collect your pay and to not be affiliated with said guildless fucktards. Oh, and you also joined forces with Moru, some sort of catgirl monster hunter who can’t handle your booze, thinks you smell funny, and would probably make a decent pair of +cat person leather trousers+.

You are very, very glad that you were drunk off your ass through that whole mess.

Right now, you’re strolling through the market district of Lowee’s capital city. The streets are almost unnaturally clean and not particularly crowded, which suits you just fine; you’re not too keen on staring at hundreds of backs of people taller than you. Ester tells you that this is because it’s the off-season. You weren’t /aware/ that cities have some sort of off-season; the only other cities you’ve had any real experience with were in the competing nation of Leanbox, and as far as you know, they never really experience any big fluctuations.

More to the point, you’re here to spend your hard-earned money on alcohol! That’s the most important bit, obviously, but you think you can spend your cash on other things, too.

For one thing, there’re a whole lot of stores and stalls that cater to adventurers like yourself (you think it’s silly that this world is set up to encourage people to be ~professional adventurers~, but that’s another rant altogether), but you ought to be able to find almost anything you could want or need: weapons, armor, weirdo items that could come in handy when you least expect it, and all that jazz.

Off to the side, there are a few odd shops off in those less-traveled streets that claim to sell treasures beyond your wildest imagination. Or at least they sell treasure boxes, those glowing electronic-looking cubes containing loot and power-ups specially tailored to whichever adventurer opens them first, sort of like your DFHack. That’s a little strange, since you thought you could only earn /those/ from successful dungeon runs, but hey, people come up with new innovations every day.

Of course, you could also go straight to the International Guild office and see what sorts of things you can get there. The Guild doesn’t really sell equipment or adventuring items; however, they apparently sell information about lost ruins, or dungeons filled with especially rich loot and ravening monsters. That sort of thing. You don’t know if it’s worth a shot, but on the other hand, the Guild IS famous for its ability to sift through the rumor mill and come up with solid, reliable information.

… behind you, Ester and Moru are chatting happily about things you haven’t been paying attention to for the past half an hour. You’re only aware that they finished introducing themselves, and then the conversation spun off into monster-hunting tips and story-swapping. Well, that's fine, that means Ester isn't literally breathing down your neck and Moru isn't complaining that you're completely wrecking her sense of smell.

Alright. You size up the main thoroughfare in front of you and down the first gulp of your newly-acquired alcohol, and it burns your throat on the way down. It's a good burn. Now, onto business.

[NOTE: Urist will automatically buy alcohol, so there’s no need to choose that as an option.]

>CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
[A1] [ESTER] Chat up Ester! You’ve got a few things to ask her, after all.
[A2] [MORU] Chat up Moru! Something’s been bothering you for a little while.

[B1] [WEAPONS] Urist could REALLY use a melee weapon; all she has is her crossbow, and that’s not going to cut it for close encounters.
[B2] [ARMOR] Urist could REALLY use better armor; she’s got a hodgepodge of protective gear, but nothing really concrete.
[B3] [ITEMS] Some one-off items would be pretty nice; Urist’s missing a good escape item, something that she can fall back on if things get really tough.
[B4] [TREASURE] Check out some of those off-the-beaten-path shops. Urist could use more unlocked functionalities like DFHack.
[B5] [GUILD] Look for information on any available dungeons. You’ll need to run a few to make yourself stronger, Armok knows you NEED to improve yourself.

OH RIGHT, my bad!

Maia's one of Urist's past acquaintances mentioned in the last thread; she's a city-builder similar to Urist, and basically dropped off the radar for a while before (apparently) resurfacing in Lowee. Urist is interested in Maia, since she wants to learn what's needed to build fortresses around here. Maia is also the personification of Civilization.

>... treasure shopping first!

You spend a little time hemming and hawing, but in the end, you can't help but be intrigued by the whole treasure thing. Normally, adventurers have to run through dungeons and risk life and limb to reach those treasure cubes that contain new abilities or pieces of equipment specifically tailored to their needs. You DO remember Ester saying that her ~legendary~ (albeit nonsensical) armor is something she can only wear, and you're guessing she got it from a dungeon run years and years ago. (After what you learned about her at the Basilicom, you're a little afraid to ask just how old she is.)

'Course, you were pretty damn sure that treasure cubes only spawn inside dungeons, and couldn't actually be brought back outside. Treasure cubes can't even be picked up; any adventurer who touches one automatically opens it, gaining their new ability or equipment right on the spot. So if some enterprising merchants found some way to dredge up treasure chests and transport them to cities, pristine and unopened...

Well, anything that could help make your life easier- things like DFHack, or the two power-ups that you passed up back in that Four-Color Pallet ruin- is something that you desperately, desperately need if you're going to hack it in Gamindustri. For one thing, you're not exactly on an even footing with other adventurers; you're fairly certain that you're the only one who has trouble figuring out how to store clothing in containers, or remembering not to dodge right the fuck off cliffs.

(Cont.)
>>
>>35677127
"Hmm? What's that you're looking at?"

You're not sure WHEN Ester snuck up to read over your shoulder. You also don't know when and why the hell she agreed to let Moru ride on her shoulders like some sort of overgrown kid, but you let that slide for the moment, jerking a thumb at the sign in front of you. An advertisement for one of the shops selling treasure cubes. Does Ester know anything about this?

"Whoa! That's actually a thing now??" You move aside to let the Dragon Warrior take a closer look, and her eyes remain wide and surprised as she reads; up on her shoulders, Moru also leans forward to take a look, although she keeps her peace. From where you're standing, they look like some sort of freakish totem pole. "This... this is a legendary development! It's /revolutionary/! What'll they think up next?"

... wait, she hasn't heard of this before?

"Ahahah, well..." Ester looks a little sheepish as she straightens back up. "I've been away from the capital for a while. From the looks of it, this is super new."

"It is, yeah," Moru adds. She doesn't look quite as excited, but her tail still swishes back and forth. "A lot of people I know went for it, and it seems to be working out for them. I'm /thinking/ about it, but it's- it's pretty expensive."

Well, yeah, if they've found some way to pry treasure cubes out of their dungeons and sell them on the market, it can't be easy. Or cheap.

(Cont.)
>>
>>35677155
Your suspicions are backed up pretty well the moment you step into the nearest treasure cube-selling shop. It's an old storefront desperately in need of renovation, but once you step inside, everything's all sparkly and considerably more glitzed-up; you figure that the shop owner took the place since the rent is cheap, but had the means to make it look slightly more decent.

Alright, so, good news first: the treasure cubes on display (behind some really thick glass panes that undoubtedly have security measures up the wazoo)? They're most definitely treasure cubes, in all their floaty and electronic-looking glory, and Ester pretty much confirms it. You're definitely going to trust her word on that, since she's been adventuring for longer than you've been alive.

The bad news is, you nearly have a heart attack when you take one look at the price and realize that it would blow right through half of the money you earned from selling the Sharicite. One treasure cube is /expensive/, holy shit.

[ ] [PURCHASE] Alright, fine, you'll take one treasure cube. A new ability WITHOUT risking life and limb is definitely worth it.
[ ] [BUY TWO] You have just enough for two treasures! You'll have to give up on purchasing ARMOR, but them's the breaks.
[ ] [HAGGLE] Come on, seriously? These prices are insane! Ask the shopkeeper to throw you a bone, here.
[ ] [FORGET THIS] You're not spending this much money, even if it's on a treasure cube. You can get better armor in return, or something.

>>
>>35677172
You come to a decision fairly quickly. Now, see, you go spelunking pretty damn frequently, but that last time with the Sharicite was one hell of a fluke; you've /never/ come back with anything worth that much money before. Hell, you've never SEEN this much money in one place before. You're not blowing it all on something you can acquire on your own, with a bit of hard work and some good friends to hide behind.

It's the same as in any trading situation: only buy stuff you can make yourself if it's dirt cheap, or if you're willing to brutally murder the traders and take back your traded goods when they attempt to leave your fortress. (That last bit isn't an option in Gamindustri, but the point remains the same.)

Well, that settles it; you toss your braids over your shoulder and march right on out the door. You can't help but note that quite a few adventurers are window shopping, but not a whole lot are actually taking the plunge. That's not particularly surprising.

Once you reach the closest equipment-selling store, Moru plows on ahead to one desk in particular, some sort of halfway DIY-type of deal where you bring in the materials and ask them to make you some shit to your specifications. Ester doesn't have any apparent need to buy new armor, but she goes window-shopping with you regardless.

She's being less than helpful.

"Oh my god! They... they have the Sizzling Bikini set! I haven't seen this in AGES!" Ester gushes, holding up some skimpy little thing that APPARENTLY has some pretty solid stats behind it. You're going to take her word for it. "And these hats! So many hats! This place is /amazing/! Look, look, a Dogoo Helmet!"

... you tune Ester out with an effort, focusing on what you actually came here to do. Well, you have some choice in armor material, here. And since your current equipment is basically-

>iron breastplate
>-silk shirt-
>XXkitten leather glovesXX
>puppy leather trousers
>xwool shoex
>+mail boot+

- ANY complete set would be an upgrade.

>CHOOSE ONE OF:
[ ] [IRON] You have a partial iron armor set, so you could save a lot of money by just filling in what you're missing. You could buy another weapon or item or whatever.
[ ] [STEEL] A full upgrade! You'd be pretty well off in this, and while you couldn't buy anything else, you'd still have enough money to save up for land permits or whatever.
[ ] [NINTENDIUM] ... you don't know much about this stuff- Ester seems excited- but it's supposed to be real tough. You'd have a LITTLE money leftover, but not enough to buy anything else.
[ ] [SHIELD & HELM] Just buy a shield and helm to protect your most important bits. Shields are pretty broken, and you could buy a shitload of other stuff with the money you've got left over.

>[X] Attempted Haggling!

It doesn't matter how long you live here or how much you think you've adjusted to life in Gamindustri: sometimes, your deeply-buried instincts come to the fore, and you suffer all the more for it.

You find the iron armor pieces that you're missing, and slide them onto the counter (why does it have to be so tall??), ignoring how the shopkeeper has to lean forward to double-check that you're even there. From there, it's mostly the usual song and dance; she asks if you're even old enough to go adventuring, you resist telling her to fuck herself with a large serrated disc and simply show her your ID (now that you HAVE ID, you can forego cursing at her until the sun sets). She names his price, you try to haggle with her, and she shoots you down immediately, eyeing you like she's worried that you're going to straight-out leave the store or something.

... and THEN things go south because, just like that time where you can't actually pick up the bolts from your quiver, you start having Kind Of A Problem.

"Look, I'm sorry, but I can't accept this... uh, this as payment," the shopkeeper says carefully, looking at you askance as you kneel on top of the counter.

You barely hear her; you've emptied out your pack and are currently sorting through EVERYTHING you own, marking the occasional item to be traded. You don't have enough damn /time/, why does it take so long to scroll down through each individual thing!? You almost look back to Ester for help, but the Dragon Warrior is nowhere to be found, so you shrug and keep on trucking.

"P-Please stop muttering to yourself! You're really starting to scare me!"

>>
>>35678979
This is ridiculous! You... you don't HAVE anything else worth trading! Why aren't your coins showing up? Which tab did you put them in? This is HIS fault, isn't it!? He's the one who culling on mandates, making all your money invisible!

"I'm not culling on anything, I don't even know how to /spell/ 'mandate'...!" The shopkeeper's hand has started inching toward the underside of her counter. Behind her, some sort of fairy in glasses floats on over, frowning disapprovingly. "Look, I don't want any trouble, so if you'd please calm down-"

You ARE calm! You are motherfucking ecstatic! And you WILL buy these pieces of armor if it's the last thing you-

A gloved hand covers your mouth, and you thrash against the arms holding you back as you hear Moru's nervous laughter from behind you. "Hahaha, she's such a kidder, isn't she? Sorry about that, my /friend/ here drank a bit too much, so- c'mon, Urist, I've got you," she adds, holding you still enough to rifle through your pockets and come up with the required funds.

You KNEW the catgirl was specced as a damn thief. You totally knew it!!

The shopkeeper claps her hands together, brightening back up immediately. "Ah, I know someone like that too, Miss Moru! It's okay, I understand completely."

LIKE HELL SHE DOES-

(Cont.)
>>
>>35678979
What the hell? Does she not know how to trade? How does she even have a shop?
>>
>>35679010
I think it's more the insane way we're going about it than anything else.
>>
>>35679001
Moru grabs you in a surprisingly strong headlock, muffling your cries in the crook of her elbow. "Well, that's it for today! Thanks a lot!" she chirrups, shoving your assorted stuff into her inventory and dragging you out of the store with a cheerful wave. And then she drags you into the adjoining alleyway before setting you down and placing her hands on her hips to stare straight at you, her tail lashing back and forth.

"Come on, Urist, what was that about? I almost CHOKED on your horrible dwarfy smell back there, so you'd better have a good explanation!"

Nothing. It's nothing! Get off your case, you're gonna go show that shopkeeper what for-

"OH no, you're NOT landing us in jail!" Moru yelps, grabbing your arm as you heft your crossbow. She's surprisingly strong for such a wiry little thing, and you can't even budge, even when you give her the very reasonable argument that you can get what you paid back if you slaughter the trader-

The catgirl's disbelieving screech echoes off the walls of the alleyway as Ester barrels around the corner, something in her hand. Every instinct in you screams at you to take note, and you can't take your eyes off whatever she's holding. "It's fine, it's fine! I've got it! You dropped this back a few blocks ago," she adds quickly, holding it out to you. "I was gonna say, I didn't see you drink for the past fifteen minutes, so-"

Your crossbow clatters to the ground forgotten, and all you remember about the next few minutes is the taste of glorious, glorious alcohol soothing your parched throat and frazzled brain, and a helpful hand pushing an extra flask toward you whenever your current drink goes dry and you almost start to cry.

... what? Why the hell's Moru staring at you like that? And why is she hiding behind Ester?

"Ahahah... well, you made a pretty big impression on her, Urist!" Ester laughs, a trifle nervously. You're all walking toward the weapon shop- a DIFFERENT shop that's a few streets away, since apparently something happened in the last shop you were at. Moru keeps staring at you like you're a walking time bomb, but you don't think you're even close to going stark raving mad. Yet.

You don't really remember much. In fact, there's a sort of weird void where the events of the last ten minutes ought to be. Should you be worried about that?

"No, no, it's fine!" Ester's reply is suspiciously quick in coming, and she shakes her head even more quickly. "We took care of it! Honest!"

Because you vaguely remember that it was depressing and horrifying, as if something very important was missing from your life. Like an internal organ, or a beloved trinket, or-

"Oh, look, no time to talk! We're here!" The Dragon Warrior sing-songs. Again, Moru goes straight to the DIY counter, although she's running a little faster this time, and the fur on her tail is standing straight up.

... catgirls. You'll never understand them.

>CHOOSE ONE TYPE:
[A1] [AXE] You can't get much more classically dwarven than this. As a bonus, you can chop wood, too! Probably! As long as you don't get confused about sharing equipment across different roles!
[A2] [SWORD] It slices. It dices! It's a fucking sword! Everyone has a sword in this world, but this one will be yours. Swords ARE pretty great, just not so much against undeads.
[A3] [MACE] You'd THINK that this would be easier to learn, since it's just smashing people in the face, but no. Apparently, there's an ~art~ to it. It's pretty bloody dwarven, either way, even if it can only bludgeon.
[A4] [PICK] You'll need something that will let you strike the earth. Not today, no. But you will treasure this beautiful little tool. Then, when you get your fortress, you will let loose a peal of terrible laughter.
[A5] [SPEAR] Stabbing people is nice. Stabbing people from range is better. Sure, it's unwieldy and tends to get stuck in things, but it's a lot better than getting your arm chewed off when you inevitably fuck up!
[A6] [KNUCKLES] If you REALLY want to do nothing more than punch people's faces in, then you can't go wrong with these. It's risky, but you'll be able to wrestle with the best of them, right?

If liquid metal changes shape like we imagine, that it is a bit of a waste thanks to our inventory. we could just carry different kinds of steel weapons simultaneously and swap between them, dealing more damage...
>>
>>35680243
We'd probably fuck it up in the middle of a battle and then have to sort through our inventory again.

Looks like LIQUID METAL KNUCKLES takes the win; writing!

Same, Miners are always the best warriors, fuck yeah those stat boosts, plus combat with a pick uses the mining skill.

I would have been happier with the pick over the knuckles. They just pretty much got double recettear'd.
Steel Knuckles would have worked fine, otherwise you're wasting the same amount of money for an Axe or a Pick on a fraction of the Liquid Metal.
>>
>>35680760
I just see this combo as having some interesting shenanigans
>>
>>35680760
Perhaps knuckles would be cheaper due to less material used?
>>
>>35680792
Knowing us, we could've smelted down the pick and gotten even more metal.
>>
>>35680858
Pretty hard to be more metal than a dwarf, bro.
>>
>>35680858
...Does smelting liquid metal even make sense?
>>
>>35680760
this is why i said on the plus side, the downside is that it is a total waste of money for cool factor over functionality
>>
>>35680936
does anything make sense?

Fair point.

I wonder if liquid metal can be mined up directly.
>>
>>35680945
Hopefully we can progress to a proper Axe/Pick/Hammer eventually. Something with weight behind it that's proper dwarfy.
>>
>>35680936
It does, but the only thing you'll get is metal. Smelting is purification of ore.

Nah, crossbow's where it at. We rocking this 40d style.

fucking sentient weapons.
>>
>>35681027
Crossbow is fine, but we need something for melee and an Axe/Pick/Hammer can be used for multiple things aside from combat.
>>
>>35681022
>>35680936
Smelting is the process of purifying metal, and liquid metal simply refers to its melting point being high.

So, yes on both counts.

The phrase "my fists are screaming for your blood" is going to take on a whole new meaning.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's made from dead Liquid Metal Slimes.

Hopefully we get a 'defective' set with a fun personality instead of all this cutesy bullshit.

Does a melee weapon or tool with a specified shape being made out of liquid metal, at room temperature, make sense?
>>
>>35681073
Maybe by some miracle it has the personality of a hardboiled dwarf.
>>
>>35681084
The name is a reference to Liquid Metal Slimes, which are living creatures made out of liquid metal with retarded amounts of def, a penchant to run away, and loaded with EXP.
>>
>>35681113
If that happens, all our future weapons will also have to be liquid metal.

This is going to get expensive.

Hopefully in the future we can up and forge a Nintendium Hammer or Flail.

It's going to have a beard
>>
>>35681144
I don't think that works for knuckles. I can imagine it on an axe though.
>>
>>35681175
>Urist, why are your palms incredibly hairy?
I can see it working. I can see Urist fanatically preserving the hair even more, living vicariously through her fists' beards.
>>
>>35681084
Liquid doesn't have a specified shape, so no, not really.

A liquid with a high enough surface tension might function in a similar manner to certain tools -- a hammer, perhaps -- and certain metamaterials harden upon impact, which might serve for a pickax, but regardless they won't look or function exactly the same as their conventional counterparts.

>[X] [LIQUID METAL KNUCKLES] I may never tire of writing that out

Ignoring Moru's eyes on you, you browse through the shopkeeper's stock of weaponry. He's got a pretty good variety, and the place even has some tools available (although he probably doesn't consider THEM to be weapons, you know better). For a little while, you're seriously considering just picking up an iron axe and calling it a day. Eventually, luck willing, you'll be able to craft your own weaponry, or Armok will smile down upon you during a dungeon run and give you some sort of unbreakable legendary artifact to murder people with.

... and then you see /that/ on full display in its own case, and before you really realize it, you've got your face pressed to the glass, staring at the terrible beauty of the thing inside: some sort of attack-focused gauntlets with spiked knuckles, its surface shimmering like molten metal. It's even DRIPPING a little, although it never seems to diminish the amount of material present in the knuckles.

After some haranguing, you manage to convince the shopkeeper to let you try it on. To your mild disappointment, although it is mildly warm, it is not molten lava, and you and whatever you might decide to punch do not immediately burst into !!flames!! the moment you equip the weird thing. The gauntlets also look ridiculously big on your hands, but that doesn't deter you. You take a few practice swings, trying to figure out what-

That's not how Liquid Metal Weapons work. Haven't any of you ever played Dragon Quest?

>[MAT: LIQUID METAL] +2 to attack, +2 to resist hostile magic effects
>[MULTITYPE] Blunt, Edge, Pierce
>[WRESTLER] Restores overeffectiveness of Wrestling moves!
>[???] Unlockable!

You stare at the gauntlets on your hands, marveling at how the Liquid Metal Gauntlets make all your moves more- well, more /fluid/, as stupid and punny as it sounds. It feels like the damn things are /reacting/ to your intentions before you even start to attack, and while it's a little disquieting, you dismiss it as ridiculous.

... well, okay, the entire EXISTENCE of room temperature liquid metal ANYTHINGS is kind of inherently ridiculous, but you've long since learned not to think too hard about these sorts of things. You've got enough on your mind as it is.

Still, the weapon(s?) is absolutely beautiful. You already feel like you want to put a name on the damn things, and you haven't even used them long enough to get attached to them. You ask the shopkeeper how he managed to make these; turns out that it doesn't involve mining out anything, but murdering enough mutated silvery dogoos to make them, and those things are apparently notoriously hard to murder.

... as you purchase the Liquid Metal Gauntlets, you make a mental note to look for Metal Dogoos wherever you go.

Ester's eyes light up when you strut toward her, purchase already equipped. "Liquid metal equipment!? Wow, that really brings back memories..."

Wait, she knows about this stuff?

"Of course!" The Dragon Warrior puffs out her chest, looking inordinately proud. "Dogoos are my specialty. They came from my adventures, you know!"

... you think back to how ridiculously prevalent dogoos are throughout Gamindustri- they are very literally the most numerous monster you know of- and quietly raise your estimation of Ester's fame another notch.

Heedless of your staring, Ester's lifted up one of your gauntleted hands, peering at it from all angles. "Hmm... well, if you ever find any legendary chunks of Orichalcum, pass 'em on to me, okay? I might be able to do something with this."

Moru's voice cuts in from somewhere behind you. "Oh! You're a weaponsmith too, Ester? I didn't know!"

You turn around and you completely do not hear Ester's reply because you find yourself staring at one of the stupidest weapons you've ever seen. Moru catches you staring and grins a toothy smile at you, raising the THING into the air.

"Hah! Like what you see, Urist? Bet you don't have Gunlances back where you're from!"

It's... it's indescribable. The tiny catgirl's hefting a lance at least twice the size of her pint-sized body, and she's doing it with ONE HAND because apparently, in Gamindustri, being a little girl lets you kick physics in the crotch until it passes out. As if that wasn't enough, there's some sort of... ammo-loading thing near its base? You can't really tell, firearms are not your forte.

The fact that you can visually identify that thing as some sort of monstrous firearm makes this whole thing even stupider. Which is why you immediately put it from your mind and empty out your next two flasks as you walk out into the street, ignoring the excited chatter of your teammates behind you.

You're fully equipped. You're ready for anything.

Alright, going to call it here; thanks a lot for participating, and I hope you guys had fun! Even though I couldn't avoid turning this into The Shopping Thread. It ought to pick up next time, at least.

Anyway, the next thread will be on Friday, 10/24, at 7 pm EST! As always, updates and stuff will be at https://twitter.com/BlorpQuest , and if you've got questions, leave 'em here or poke me at http://ask.fm/BlorpQuest

Thanks again, and see you next time!

Why are these getting so short recently? Not complaining as such, still enjoying the quest, just recall the older threads being longer.

Last time, I had to cut it super short due to getting up early, and this time... I think I didn't type as quickly as I usually do? I also gave more voting time to some of the choices this time, since it'll have a pretty big impact on Urist's fighting style down the line.

... I probably could have cut down a bit on the descriptive text, too. I'll try to pick up the pace next time!

Eh, what's the point of reading if you're going to skimp on quality? Just keep on as you are.
