It's back!

Port Royal started as PetroCo Romeo, an offshore oil rig in the Indian ocean. It was abandoned in the Oil Crunch, and became a hideout for the pirates who gave it it's current name. In the past few years it's become a major trading hub for the various smuggling operations. Why the Indian navy allows this place to exist in their waters, nobody is quiet sure. China accuses them of Privateering, but others just think the World's largest democracy is unwilling to kick over the Hornet's nest that is South Asian Piracy.

You arrive in the old Yacht Alexis gave you for the last mission, it's fiberglass hull still cracked and bullet ridden. Lashed to the oil rig's legs is a network of floating docks and lashed together boats, guarded by a bunch of half naked men with rusty AK derivatives. As you pull up to the cluster, you are greeted by some confused looking indonesian teenagers. "You lost Laddy?" One of them asks, not expecting a beautiful woman to willingly come to a place like this. You don't think he buys the Tourist act.

Looking around the area you see a large open air market in the center of the cluster of boats, directly under the superstructure of the oil rig. And on the far side, you see a large Seaplane. Up the staircases leading into the superstructure you see signs advertising something called "The Crows Nest."

As you explain things, you catch Nat snickering at Tericia. "Nat, because I know I can count on you to be the voice of reason. You can help her guard the things while me and Suzuka check the place out." You then turn to the boys. "If there is any paperwork to be done. Please direct it to her."

Taking Suzuka with you, you wander through the floating marketplace as you make your way to the other side. This seems to be a great place to buy and sell guns, and drugs. Not to mention, pieces of endangered animals, and slaves. If you want to get rid of that crate full of AKs, or buy some more gear, now might be a good chance. There is also food here, but it mostly seems to consist of salted fish.

The Seaplane is an old PBY Catalina. Parts of it appear to have been upgraded or repaired, but the airframe itself is a world war two relic. The airplane appears to be currently unoccupied, with only the usual crew of teenagers with AK47s patrolling the docks to keep it safe. Nobody home.

"Huh? You plane lady's friend? She probably up in da crows nest getting, how you Americans say, shitface?" The boy says as he points up with his rifle. Like many of the boys on guard duty, he appears to be about 17, with mixed south Asian and east African features. He's mostly naked except for some plastic flip flops a pair of briefs. As rising sea levels drown entire villages, more and more people find themselves turning to piracy to survive. He was probably born on a boat and might go his entire life without ever stepping foot on dry land.

Deciding to investigate that lead, you thank the boy and tip him before heading up the stairs into the crows nest. The Oil rig's old crew cafeteria has been converted into a very rowdy Pirate tavern. The decoration seems to be a strange mix between the classical western cartoon image of a pirate, and the modern reality of living on an oil rig with a bunch of south Asian and east African cutthroats. Salted Fish, Questionable Alcohol, Quality Heroin, and plenty of wenches. You aren't sure how you'll find your pilot in here, or if it was a good idea to Bring Suzuka in here. You clutch your gun, as the girl wraps her arms around your waist.

The pirates getting drunk up in the crows nest seem to be older than the ones patrolling down below. You imagine that duty gets assigned to lower ranking crew members, while the captains hang out up here. Several of them eye you as you approach the bar, and Suzuka tries to hide herself behind you, her face planting itself into your lower back.

"What is pretty lady like you doing in place like this?" One of the pirates says, suspiciously. You don't look like the typical patron here, but you are also too well dressed (and too recently bathed) to be on of the whores. You imagine if you weren't carrying a gun, somebody would have tried to rape you already. Perhaps you should have worn the Tactical Bikini instead?

The AKs are modern types with plastic furniture, they accept western style accessories, (Sight radius is still shit though because the mounting is so far forward) and are chambered for 5.56. You have a dozen or so of those.

What's this mean?

You stand in your white sundresses carrying several guns each. You wonder if you would look less ridiculous if you were wearing the Tactical Bikinis? Definitely too much to carry all at once, but if you can find a place to stash the spares, you imagine it would be an adequate arsenal for a four woman Guerrilla unit. You decide the Catalina would be a good place to start. If Kitty is respected enough to be safe overdosing in the Crows nest, you can't imagine anybody would steal from her.

After convincing the guards that you are Kitty's friends, you enter the seaplane to stow the luggage, and maybe change. Inside is very dark and quiet, but also very lived in. You can see a bunch of selfies taken by Kitty of her and her friends. They seem to paint a picture of decline. The earliest ones show her wearing a USAF dress uniform fresh out of training, then they show her in a flight suit posing in front of a C130, and deploying to various places over the globe. Some of them also show her partying hard with her wingmen.

As the pictures continue however, the parties seem to get harder, and her uniforms seem to get less and less sharp. You aren't exactly sure when she was discharged, but the most recent pictures are her in her current state, doing drugs and partying with whores in Bangkok or pirates in Port Royal. One thing that dosn't change however, is she appears to be smiling the same in each and every one of them.
