A single, burning, shocking jolt of pain in your chest and shoulders slams you awake for a handful of confused seconds. Your mind is suddenly flooded by sensations, sounds and flashes of light in front of your eyes. You hear voices, but can't understand what they are saying.

Then, feeling like you've been stabbed with a red-hot iron poker, you drift right back to unconsciousness.

Some time later, you are woken up by a second brief flash of pain, much smaller in intensity, but entirely unexpected: a slap on your cheeks, in a rapid one-two succession.

You open your eyes, and see a dark, cloudy, overcast sky. Menacing. Ghastly flashes of lightning boil and brew in its bowels.

"Not dead yet." You hear Zaan's cheerful voice, entirely at odds with the present situation, as his smiling face, a bit smeared with blood, peeks into your field of view.

You realize he's handling your numb body, wrapping it in tight white bandages soaked in an itchy, jelly-like cream that is slowly returning sensation to your body.

The sensation is, mostly, what you'd imagine from getting burned, your skin peeled off, and then having coarse-grained sand rubbed all over you.

Lifting an arm in front of your eyes, you realize that that's pretty much what actually happened: flaps of skin have peeled off you, exposing flesh and muscles underneath. Like a burn, but with no actual heat damage.

You suddenly realize that you don't want a mirror right now. A corner of your mind is grateful for the Exalted gift of healing without scars.

Lying on the floor by you, you spot the two hard-light blades (which actually look more like glass) that were wedged in your back.

...actually, the floor. Broken, uneven wood tiles and planks, stone, flesh, thick skin, bone plates and scales. You're still on the ship. The Murdering Heart. You're nested in a small pile of broken rubble, both material and biological, and Lintha corpses.

"Did she wake up?" Five Tails' voice, followed by light, silent steps next to you. Her hand appears, offered to help you stand back up. "Are you alright?"

>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. She was in the western city of Tianna as a guest of queen Amata, an old friend. Abyssals are targeting the city for conquest, Lintha pirates have infiltrated it with spies and agents, and the Realm is probably planning to get rid of you.
But things are also looking up. You have gathered a lot of allies and friends, have a powerful Manse under construction, and are unifying Tianna in a great nation under your overwhelming charisma.
You just discovered the reason everyone seems to be so interested in Tianna: an enormous magical fortress lies buried underground, a relic of the First Age with enough firepower to destroy anything...

>Solar? Zenith? I don't know Exalted...
This quest is as newbie-friendly as possible, and I want it to work as a newbie's intro to Exalted. If you have ANY question, ask in thread. For the setting, google "1d4chan exalted".

>Archive?
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solar%20Quest

>System?
Dicepool-like system. When performing an action, everyone rolls 1d10 when posting. the first X rolls are considered, where X is equal to attribute + ability. Yes, this means that the more people are posting, the stronger Maka is, up to a limit of her attribute + ability.

>XP?
Attributes cost [current score x5] xp. Abilities cost [current score x3] xp, except Zenith costing [(current score x3) -1]. Charms cost 10 xp, except for Zenith-based charms (related to charisma and physical/mental fortitude) which cost 8 xp. At the end of every "session" (thread) you will be presented with a list of possible acquisitions.

Your head spins as you struggle to keep your footing. Your legs wobble and your knees are weak.

"...what did I miss?" you ask, scanning your surroundings. You must be in some corner of the ship, looks like they dragged you here...

"You went down hard, but we managed to take out those two demons." Zaan informs you. "You sure soak up a lot of punishment." He adds, with a tone of healthy admiration in his voice.

"So they were demons?" That makes sense.

"The ship's captain, someone the Lintha apparently call just the Admiral, summons them. They're quick and hit hard, and work in pairs."

"Summons?" You wonder. "Not summoned?"

"There are more pairs stalking the ship. Whatever a pair sees, all other pairs know instantly. They're all connected. Five and that other guy took down other two to cover our retreat here."

"...I've been out how long, exactly?"

"I dunno, ten minutes? You just missed a couple more scuffles." He ties a bandage around your waist, painfully tight. You notice he's also wounded, a large, deep cut along his right arm, almost down to the bone. "We avoided those curse-eyes and holed up here to catch our breath and patch you up. They're scouring the ship looking for us. We put a dent in their manpower, so they might take a few more minutes before they find us."

"Karas?" You're suddenly distressed by the fact that he doesn't see him anywhere around. Five is peeking around the corner of the pile of rubble, holding in hand... the moonsilver switch-blade you found in the Titan. You suddenly realize you no longer have it on you, but then, your clothing exploded and all you wear now is a nice set of mummy cosplay, so there isn't even anywhere you could keep it. Zaan even removed your gauntlets and boots to treat you better: they're lying next to you.

"That's his name? He was badly wounded, but didn't want to get patched up and ran off somewhere. I couldn't stop him." He explains with a noncommittal shrug. "What happens now?"

Everything hurts, but, seeing the extent of your wounds, you're amazed by the fact that you're still alive, and by how LITTLE it hurts, actually.

You'll angst about how your powers alienate you from humanity some other time (or, better yet, not at all): you have work to do now.

"...we need to find Karas." You mumble, slipping your weapons back on, donning gloves and wearing boots.

"We could follow the trail of blood and bits of stipped skin and flesh." Grins Zaan. It's hard to tell if he's entirely serious or he's being morbidly sarcastic.

"...anything about the Gloria, by the way?" You ask Five.

"There's still the shell of black fog around the ship. No sign. Not even a wreck or flotsam, which could be a good sign thinking about it."

Or it could mean the curse-eyes of the Murdering Heart annihiliated it entirely, everyone thinks, but no one says so aloud.

"Five Tails, you look for the Gloria."

"And then what?"

"Improvise. Zaan, can you find Karas?"

He kneels down and licks one of the many smears of blood all around the place, with an oddly thoughtful expression. He sniffs the air. "I can try."

So he wasn't being sarcastic.

Five Tails turns around and leaps, transforming in a brown-feathered hawk in mid-air. She immediately disappears in the black fog choking everything around you.

"You sure it's a good move to split up now?" Zaan wonders.

"No." You admit. "Let's move."

He sniffs the air again, and wanders off to a side, across the horrendous deck of the demon-ship. You see signs of explosive burn damage, blackened craters scattered here and there, the evident signs of the Gloria's lightning ballistas striking true.

They're cold. Not recent damage.

"He does taste a bit like you."

(cont.)
>>
Zaan's words startle you out of your idle train of thoughts.

"I'm sorry?"

"Five Tails told me he's your brother. Amazing that two people would Exalt in the same family."

"No, no, I meant that thing about taste. Then did you "taste" me, exactly?" You almost start looking behind your arms searching for bite marks.

"Well, you left your blood eveywhere." He shrugs.

That makes a certain amount of sense.

Physical + night = 7 6 7 5 3

Suddenly, Zaan grabs your arm and pulls you behind one of the yellowish pillars rising from the ship's deck, motioning you to remain silent.

You let him do. You noticed them as well.

Another pair of those demons, leading a team of five crewmen. They are armed with something that surprises you: flamepieces, loaded and primed. They advance carefully and nervously.

"Where the heck did that maniac go?"

"We hosed him with enough fire to roast a kraken. He can't have gone far."

"Hey, Sharden, shouldn't we lift this fog screen? At this point it's going us more harm than good."

<"That's for the Admiral to decide. Are you the Admiral?">

"Er... I-"

<"Then be silent.">

Zaan makes you a hand sign, pointing further ahead, perpendicular to the direction the group is wandering towards.

You nod silently. Of course, knowing that these demons have... Linked telepathy, or whatever it is they have, means that it's impossible to avoid them raising the alarm the moment you-

"FOR GEM AND THE SUN UNCONQUERED!"

You see Zaan's face turn into one of utter horror and shock as a flying Karas emerges from the thick smoke in mid-dropkick.

Once again you're grateful you don't have a mirror. You'd imagine your own being much, much worse.

The impact knocks one of the two demons into the other, and both to ground clumsily as they struggle to bring their glass blades to bear on the reckless solar.

His armor is shredded down to bits and scraps, his skin flayed here and there and covered in cuts both shallow and deep. A large burn mark has blackened half his face, and another burned a hole in his lower andomen. He still has a glowing Anima and castemark, a leftover from previous fights probably.

He has one of the demons' own blades in hand, probably taken from another pair. As he comes crashing down on top of the pile, he drives it down with savage force, pinning both bodies to the floor in a flashing spray of technicolor blood.

You facepalm. The soldiers spread around and begin opening fire, without caring that they are hosing Firedust on their own summoned demons.

The sudden spike in remperature washes over you as the burst of light paints the ship's deck. The Lintha quickly spread out in a half-circle as they focus their jets of flame on Karas, who instantly disappears in the conflagration.

Physical + night = 10 3 7 9 8 = 5 successes

Too shocked and preoccupied by Karas' sudden attack, the group has basically spread out around your hiding place. You're in perfectly clear sight and barely one meter away from the two closest Lintha, but no one noticed you yet.

[SOLAR HERO STYLE]
[ESSENCE: 4/6]

Physical + dawn + SHS = 10 8 7 2 6 3 2 1 3 = 4 successes

One of the Lintha turns around, distracted by your remark. He stares at you, astonished.

You smile gracefully and take his head clean off the shoulders with a butterfly kick.

Everyone lowers his rifles, staring at the head rolling on the uneven deck, then up to you.

Zaan leaps out from behind the pillar and grapples with another Lintha for a second, then taking a bite out of his neck with his razor-sharp teeth. With a spray of blood, he falls noisily.

Just as the other pirates draw fresh flamepieces on you, another one is slammed down on deck by one of the two demon corpses, with still the blade running it through, wielded like a hammer brought down on a nail by Karas, who has now some extra burn marks but looks still as lively as ever.

Panicking, the two Lintha left discharge their sidearms on Zaan, who is instantly covered in liquid flames that carbonise the mauled corpse slumped at his feet and stick on him viciously. You hear him screaming in pain.

You just exchange a quick glance with Karas and a slight nod before springing into action.

[IRON KETTLE BODY] [ESSENCE 3/6]

Physical + dawn + SHS = 4 2 2 10 2 2 9 6 3 = 3 successes

You dash up to the Lintha and slam your fist into the back of his head, laying him down low. You misjudged your step and didn't connect solidly with your fist, however, and you see him immediately rolling and drawing another gun, pointing it at you.

You pull back just barely in time, and the gout of flame singes your hair as it blazes past you and into the sky.

Right after, you slam your fist down on the Lina, and he rolls out of the way.

Zaan, badly burned all over, rolls on the ground as well, grabbing one of the slippery Lintha's arms with both hands and biting it just above the elbow, with the crunching noise of bone shattering.

Screaming and struggling, the Lintha draws a pocket knife and stabs you in the neck just a moment before you manage to smash his skull with a good punch, nailing him to the deck in a very messy way.

The knife slid on you without biting deep, just slicing a shallow cut on your skin.

You turn to Karas and his own Lintha. You didn't pay attention to what happened, but you see the pirate's head, arms and legs placed on the deck like there was still a now-invisible chest holding them together. However, the essential body part in question seems to be missing.

Your brother takes a deep sigh. "Whew. Good show."

>good show my ass, you idiot
>what have you been doing up to now?
>let's stick together
>keep going around and doing your thing

Combined with:

>we look for Five and the Gloria.
>we look for this Lintha Admiral.
>we smash everything we can find.

>>36096464
They're not. They're much more narrow than that when they shoot - narrow enough that you have to aim not to miss, can shoot an object out of someone's hand, and so forth. They're basically flintlock pistols that fire an instant, very narrow flamethrower blast. They're rad, but in the same way a single-shot flintlock is rad when it comes to taking out a single tough guy; they're actually fucking terrible at crowd control. They require a special martial art to even hit two adjacent people with one blast.

That said, they're an EXTREMELY Southern weapon. Maka and Karas are certainly familiar enough in their use to take some with them, even if they're punch-specialists.
>>
>>36096482
>Wouldn't doubt he's able to trap someone.
We need to dress him in the most feminine clothing we can and introduce him to Pyre Spark, telling her he's family but forgetting to mention he's our brother. In fact, we must forget to use pronouns at all.
>>
>>36096538
I think he would object more to that than us fucking him
>>
>>36096464
We would need to get and carry around a supply of firedust, not only hard to get outside the south, but also problematic considering our inability to keep our clothes together in fights.
>>
"Good show?" you echo back. "HOOD SHOW MY ASS, YOU IDIOT!"

Karas winces, caught completely by surprise.

"You wandered off on your own!"

"You were safe and sound. Those two lunars-"

"I'm worried about you, moron! You're wounded! And besides, these demons are linked by telepathy! Every time you fight one, you alert all the others all over the ship!"

"...oh." you see his face slowly getting reasonably worried. "That explains why they were always on top of me."

You facepalm. Again.

"I had a plan coming here, Karas. I might not be the most brilliant strategy this side of the Blessed Isle, but it was a fairly okay plan and I was proud of it. I even started thinking of it as a stepping stone towards becoming a better leader. AND! YOU! RUINED! EVERYTHING!" you punctuate the last words of your rant hammering your fist on one of the wax-like pillars, leaving four fist-shaped imprints on its surface.

"Uh." Karas is clearly shocked. "...I'm sorry. I, I wasn't thinking straight. I just wanted to finish this quickly so I could... I could catch up with you."

He looks mortified. And you were about to lose control.

"...we will, Karas. But right now... Stick together. Don't run off on your own. Let's play this smart."

"I'm not very good at being smart." He cleanly admits.

"Apparently that's supposed to be my job now." you reply, finding the idea a bit humorous. "I'm still learning myself, though. For now, we buy time and play hard to catch until we get reinforcements."

"We have reinforcements? Karas asks. Meanwhile you see Zaan applying some kind of salve or cream all over his body, probably for treating his burns.

"We do. I have a plan, remember?" you grin.

"Let's go." the Lunar nods. He's clearly in pain, but you can't stop right now. You need to move.

It's Golden Exhalation that lets you attack more than one person at once, actually. But yes, both flame piece martial arts are fucking rad. It's just important to remember that, despite being pocket flamethrowers, they operate in practice more like guns. They have only a single, instant flash, they have to be aimed carefully instead of just vaguely pointing forward, and they're terrible for crowds because they only hit one person and then need to be reloaded.

It's slight enough that flame pieces and fire cannons are used extensively in the West, especially by pirates, and that Tianna apparently has both a proper powdery in their armory and someone to supply it. They offered Maka some flame weapons right after exalting, and Irene said she has more than enough to make the gel rounds for her new Plasma Tongue Repeater.

Sure, it's not the dirt cheap peasant weapon it is in the South, but it's not even remotely hard to get ahold of outside of the North.

You grab a flamepiece and a bag of firedust, just for the heck of it. They're there, and you never know. "We need to disappear and strike somewhere else. Keep them guessing."

The other two Exalted nod. You move out.

The ship feels deserted, haunted. Even more haunted than it would normally be considering it's a damn giant demon boat. And you can't shake the feeling that you're being watched every step of the way.

Physical + night = 2 3 2 1 1 = BOTCH!

After a few minutes of walking, you have the definite feeling of walking in circles on top of that.

As soon as you begin to suspect that something is seriously amiss, you literally bump into a giant eyeball.

[HEALTH: 2/5]

The impact of the curse sens you literally flying away. You feel like every single part of your body is desperately trying to sail off through the sky on its own, at its own pace and on its own trajectory. For a brief moment, you find yourself wishing that they could actually do so. Maybe it would be less painful without every part of your body trying to run off on its own.

You gasp for air, struggling to get any of it inside your tortured lungs. Someone grabs you and hoists you back up, but you realize you can't see anything: the still image of the giant demonic bloodshot eyeball staring death and destruction into you is burned in your retina.

"I think you've been playing around by ship plenty enough." it's a female voice, but one that carries an echo to it, like three or four identical voices talking simultaneously.

"I take it that you're the boss?" that's Karas' voice.

"No sense making introductions to dead people."

You hear a loud crash, followed by sounds of running, of fighting. Clashes and explosions, screams.. Your senses are too dulled to let you follow the fight just by hearing.

But, fortunately, your sight starts returning to you. Standing proudly behind and above a curse-eyeball, a woman in a strikingly rich red and gold dress. You could call her beautiful if she didn't have something incredibly unnatural about her.

It takes you a moment to realize what's wrong: her eyes are flat and expressionless. The iris is a brightly-colored but dull green disc with a black dot in the centre. They send a shiver down your spine.

Two more demons are with her, brawling with Karas a bit to the side. Behind her, a small host of Lintha, about a dozen, are rallying and pointing firepieces and spears at you. Zaan, next to you, is being torn to shred by the eye's power. Droplets of blood and scraps of skin and flesh fly all around you, filling the air.

You act fast, with the awareness that time is something you cannot waste.

No banter. No smack talk. You pounce on the giant, horrible eyeball. You get in its line of sight for a fraction of second, landing a flying roundhouse kick right into it. For a frightful moment, it feels like you are about toe puched back by its pressure, but your momentum carries you through.

Physical + dawn + SHS = 4 4 5 1 8 8 8 4 6 = 3 successes

Your foot sinks into the soft, fleshy matter of the eyeball, down to the knee. The impact feels satisfactory, and the ball is propelled away by its force, slamming on the deck and bouncing off it spilling blood and hosing down three of the Lintha with its beam, reducing them to flayed skeletons.

But it's still intact, and it turns on its nerve/stalk trying to track you again. You dodge it, dropping low and grabbing Zaan, pulling him aside, and the beam cuts the air above you, where you were standing up to a moment ago.

A sickly noise of bones and meat rearranging and shifting follows, as you see a massive, sleek, pointy tail drops down behind the Admiral, shiny and reddish-black, quickly growing in length from under her skirt.

You're forced to pause a second when you see a second tail hit the floor and slither towards you like a snake, moving lightning-fast.

When the third one erupts from her neck cleavage and shoots upwards you realize that they're not tails. They're tentacles.

In the following seconds, her entire body erupts in an anemone-like mass of fleshy appendages, smooth and shiny, all tapering to a point as sharp as a spear's. For some imperscrutable reason, her dress is still perfectly intact.

"Ew." Zaan says, two seconds before being impaled on one. The pseudopod stretches out impossibly and nails him to a bone-and-meat wall-like structure fifteen meters away.
>>
It all happened too fast. Time seems to slow down for a moment. The most surreal thing is that, right in that moment, light suddenly fades for a moment, as if something large just passed in front of the sun right now. Bits and pieces of wood and rope being to rain from the sky. One bounces off the bloodshot eye as it slowly tracks back to point at you. Gouts of fire fly all around you.

This is so surreal.

You ignore the bits and pieces of wood raining from the sky for some reason and launch yourself like a cannonball against the wriggling horror that transformed in front of your eyes.

[TEN OX MEDITATION] [ESSENCE 2/6]

Physical + dawn + SHS = 6 1 10 9 3 2 2 7 1 = 4 successes

You are too slow, or perhaps the Lintha is too fast. Her tentacles grab your arms and legs and wrap you up long before you can get close enough, and hold you out for the crewmen's target practice. Lines of flame and javelins and spears slam into your body, each impact more painful than the last.

"You Exalted get cocky so easily. You're so sure that you can take anything on, even something like my Murdering Heart, alone." you see the expressionless human face of the Admiral talking to you, sprouting from the writhing mass of colorful tentacles. You manage to rip two of them off, then a third, but there's too many...

Too surreal.

The tentacles wrap all around you and begin to squeeze you. Air leaves your lungs at first, then blood begins to drip down you, crushed out of your veins and your organs. You hear the noise of bones cracking and joint popping, like firecrackers going off under your skin.

[HEALTH: 1/5]

Finally you realize what is going on. A bit too late, maybe.

"Not alone." you manage to croak.

That's about when the Lintha vessel above you comes down crashing onto the Murdering Heart's deck, smashing into all of you, friend and foe, and burying you in rubble.

'charge the mass of tentacles alone! what could go wrong!?'

>I'm assuming we should go for Zenith 5 straight away when we get hte XP for it and not another charm or something beforehand?
Pretty much.

For context, all of those high-powered badass attacks that were able to do 1 damage to us even through our armor charm? They would have been dealing 2 damage to us without the armor charm, and will do 0 damage with better armoring. The Admiral would have to gang up on us the way the crew on top deck did to do even a single point of damage once we have an Armor 2 charm.

We should be rushing that as quickly as possible.

Remember, Solars are skill-based, not attribute-based. We benefit from increasing our Attributes, but we benefit even more from increasing our skills and getting better charms.

Doesn't matter. Exalts don't die in EF's quest unless dealt a deliberate killing blow. He gave us an example of knocking an enemy to 0 HP as they fall off a cliff into the ocean. That enemy will come back unless we climb down there to deal them a final blow.

Exalts are not fragile things.

Right. We have skill-based magic, like Batman. Tia, on the other hand, as a Lunar, has attribute-based magic, like Superman. We get our magic, badass powers as a result of being supremely and superhumanly skilled. Lunars get their magic, badass powers as a result of being supremely superhuman.

We still get a benefit from increasing Physical/Mental/Social. We get more dice and more health/essence/backgrounds.

But unless we specifically need more backgrounds, or something, it's almost always a better idea to just increase our skills instead, since that gives us new dice and access to new, better super powers.

11 XP
>>
Rolled 6 (1d10)

>>36098822
damn, at least another 2 threads then
>>
>>36098713

I will ask EF to convert one of the draw requests into exp. If I get a hold of him, that is, the faggot insists on not wasting his life on the internet.
>>
Rolled 10 (1d10)

>>36098839
We should have two extra if he adds both of those pics to the pool, well I don't know if the guy that requested the other one wanted something else
>>
>>36098839
Why not both of them?
>>
Rolled 1 (1d10)

well this anons about to fall asleep, hopefully EF continues and we get to play through the rest of the fight via Tia PoV though this late I imagine it will be a cliffhanger
>>
>>36098860

Because I'm a faggot.
>>
>>36099026
At least you admit it.

Sorry for being super late. Still afk. Please be patient ;_;

This threads on page 8, depending on how much longer you are/how long you intend to keep running you might want to make a new thread
>>
Rolled 7 (1d10)

>>36099114
>you might want to make a new thread
Yeah, if he's not even in the process of writing up the next post yet, that's pretty much going to be absolutely necessary.
>>
Should I go ahead and archive this one?
>>
Rolled 10 (1d10)

>>36099402
You can if you want, we don't really have to worry about being late thanks to delayed pruning being a thing now
>>
Rolled 4 (1d10)

>>36099402
may as well, threads on page 9 now
>>
Sorry, it's been hectic and messy. I'm still on the move actually, just had the luck of finding a bus stop with open wifi.

First of all: I do want to do a second thread right away, but I unfortunately don't have time to pull it off in a satisfactory way today. I will try and run tomorrow if possible.

Then: you're right, I should have gone for the eyeball grab. It was a good plan and it would have actually changed the result of the fight, since the Curse Eye has a lower defense than the Lintha Admiral. I was multitasking other stuff while running the quest and it slipped by me. (Not making excuses, just explaining why it happened.)

As an apology i'll grant you 2 extra xp, or any one sensible request you can all have a wide agreement on.

As for the two drawings done by Deculture, it'll be either an extra xp each or any (still sensible) request either the one who commissioned them in the drawthread or Decu himself feels like asking. Ask on twitter, or I'll show up on #qmc on rizon later if you want to keep it a secret.

Reminder that this works for (non-terrible) writefaggotry as well if anyone feels like writing any. Fiction, setting details, whatever.
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>36099656
"sensible request" is a bit open ended.

Do you have an idea of what constitutes sensible?
>>
>>36099656
What does hitting 0 health actually do to us?
>>
>>36099674
especially considering the 'sensible' choices this playerbase has made in this story
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

I don't know about you guys but I'm kinda satisfied with the XP, even if we only get 2 Xp for the thread today that gives us 12 XP total, enough to buy Zenith 5
>>
Rolled 2 (1d10)

>>36099656

>As an apology i'll grant you 2 extra xp, or any one sensible request you can all have a wide agreement on.

I think we should get the XP. When we hit zenith 5 we will need buy an new/upgraded soak charm.

Not to mention that we also need that enlightening charm.

Thanks for the thread EF.

Well as long as we're not utterly irredeemably fucked or it would have drastically altered how well things went theres not much of an issue, a shame we didn't get to be so badass, you'll have to come up with something in another fight to top it and have Maka perform it
>>
>>36099656
Thanks for the thread as always EF, I'll see you tomorrow hopefully
>>
Rolled 1 (1d10)

Well fuck, and now we're at 0Hp and have no idea what the fuck is going on because of it...

>>36099678
Yeah some clarification on that would be good, especially if it means we're dead or something at that move we should have done could have saved us or something
>>
Rolled 9 (1d10)

>>36099703
>that gives us 12 XP total
How's that? we've only got 6 currently

>Then: you're right, I should have gone for the eyeball grab. You can make it up to us with an awesome Tia PoV and delicious Maka cuddles and nursing
>>
>>36099775
The 2 XP bonus he gave us as an apology, the 2 XP we normally get at the end of threads, and unless the requesters of the art want something specific that's 2 more and at least one of them said he wanted XP for it
>>
>>36099656

Will try to reach you on irc in a while. At worst, in 2 hours.

As long as it doesn't completely ruin us and the battle and everything and you can make it up next thread then apology accepted.
>>
>>36099656
>Sensible request vs 2xp

The only "sensible" things I can think of would be finding some solid Lintha Loot or healing to 1HP without ally intervention next thread. Hanestly not sure if either of those is worth giving up the XP though.
>>
>>36099925
Same here, I want that XP

Yeah! By writing some hot make out scenes with Maka and Tia/Silk/Amata/Karas/Tianna Siblings/Triple Digit Mortals
>>
>>36100125

Maka wants to become less slutty, anon

Yes, but we were going to do that after the battle anyway

>>36100158
We all knew that was a hollow promise.
>>

If it was that easy to get rid of the Great Curse, Lytek would have done so by now.

>>
Rolled 3 (1d10)

>>
>>36100216
Our brother has just shown up a few threads ago, and already people are raving about how much they want to fuck him, and its going to happen.
So, yeah.
I don't really care, I just feel bad for the people that actually wanted legitimate change in that regard.

>>36100215
Well you can get rid of the great curse quiet easily, in fact, Maka would just need to ask, I'm sure the Tyrant of the Doomsdaymachine would help her out.
>>
Rolled 6 (1d10)

>>36100274
>I just feel bad for the people that actually wanted legitimate change in that regard.
And we got it, anon is not Maka, anon are the voices in her head, EF writes Maka and keeps her in character
>>
>>36100296
Anon, we fucked that immaculate monk, literally just because he was there. He had even already agreed to all our demands, just because. If people vote for indiscriminate fucking around, EF is going to write it, and no amount of wishful thinking on your part is going to change that.
>>
>>36100296
If we're not Maka, why does the story use the pronoun "you" instead of "she" for her actions?
>>
>>36100274
All QMs retain the right to filter out of character/trollish/boundary breaking suggestions.

Incestfags need to quit it, seriously.
>>
>>36100354
We already had incest, EF has obviously no issue with it.

As far as I see it they intend to share him with Tia, so there you go.
>>
>>36100482
No.
Go the fuck away.
>>
>>36100442
Yes, I understand perspective. It's you who seem to have the problem.
You, the pronoun, is only used when you, the reader, is meant to be directly inserted into the characters perspective.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I'm not asking for a repeat, at least not for the TDM.

But it's something that happened, and is also available for better detailing. Writing out a scene that faded to black, you know?

>>36100482

That's pretty good...

>46 unique posters

This can't be right.
>>
>>36101033
It only counts the total amount of IPs that posted here. So over the entire time of the quest 46 Ips made posts, thats very believable, considering mobiles and dynamic Ips.
>>
Wow page 10.

Popping in just to say:

2 xp (Base)
1 xp (Battle of Murdering Heart - Act 1)

+2 special xp as an apology for my fuckup.

And, 0 Xp means you're incapacitated, knocked out, and will die from a coup de grace or if left around without medical attention too long. (yes, even if you have fast-healing charms)
