You've taken quite a beating.

When you reopen your eyes, the effects of adrenaline and of Zaan's healing salve have long faded away. Pain and muscle ache all over your body make you feel like a wreck. You're covered in linen bandages all over, an attempt to protect your scarred, flayed skin while it regenerates.

You find yourself staring at a wooden board ceiling, tucked in a small bed in a small room. You're on the Bloodshark, Rubel's ship.

You turn your neck around (with effort), feeling someone else's presence in the room, and you spot Tia, lying asleep on the floor. Perhaps sensing, somehow, that you have awakened, her eyes blink open.

She stands up on her knees and leans over on your bed, slowly and carefully. "...how are you?" She asks, in a low voice.

You bring your neck back in a straight position, and it cracks very loudly. "...ow." You reply.

Tia looks like she's actually about to break down and cry. "...I'm sorry, Maka. It's all my fault."

"...what? No!" You reply in a mumble.

"I should have gotten there earlier. I shouldn't have dropped that ship on you. I... I thought you'd get out in time. I thought you noticed it..." She mutters, brushing a hand against your bandaged waist, almost astonished by the damage you suffered.

"...I have no idea what happened to me back then." You admit, taking her hand in yours and squeezing it gently, trying to calm her down. "I saw the shadow, and saw the bits and pieces falling from the sky, but for some reason it felt normal, or I just didn't feel like looking up. Being in a fight does strange things to your perceptions. I should have seen it, but I didn't." You look into her tearful eyes. "It's not your fault. And, I knew you couldn't come in time, but i still decided to board the Murdering Heart without you. Again, not your fault."

"I should've been there to protect you." She replies, brushing aside your entire argument. "From now on, I'm never going to leave your side."

"...I understand that you're worried about me, but someties we'll-"

"Never." She interrupts you. There's a spark of light burning in her eyes as she stares you down. For a moment, you find yourself panicked and terrified. "I'll never let you go anywhere alone anymore."

>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. She was in the western city of Tianna as a guest of queen Amata, an old friend. Abyssals are targeting the city for conquest, Lintha pirates have infiltrated it with spies and agents, and the Realm is probably planning to get rid of you.
But things are also looking up. You have gathered a lot of allies and friends, have a powerful Manse under construction, and are unifying Tianna in a great nation under your overwhelming charisma.
You just discovered the reason everyone seems to be so interested in Tianna: an enormous magical fortress lies buried underground, a relic of the First Age with enough firepower to destroy anything...

>Solar? Zenith? I don't know Exalted...
This quest is as newbie-friendly as possible, and I want it to work as a newbie's intro to Exalted. If you have ANY question, ask in thread. For the setting, google "1d4chan exalted".

>Archive?
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solar%20Quest

>System?
Dicepool-like system. When performing an action, everyone rolls 1d10 when posting. the first X rolls are considered, where X is equal to attribute + ability. Yes, this means that the more people are posting, the stronger Maka is, up to a limit of her attribute + ability.

>XP?
Attributes cost [current score x5] xp. Abilities cost [current score x3] xp, except Zenith costing [(current score x3) -1]. Charms cost 10 xp, except for Zenith-based charms (related to charisma and physical/mental fortitude) which cost 8 xp. At the end of every "session" (thread) you will be presented with a list of possible acquisitions.

"...Tia, you're... You're scaring me a bit. Calm down." You whisper.

"...I... I just don't want you to get hurt again." She breathes a deep sigh. "I'm calm. I'm calm."

"Look, sometimes we'll have to act separately. Like in this operation, we had to split up as part of the plan." You reason.

"And that was a mistake I'll never do again." She replies. "I'll be always next to you."

"Look, Tia, I'm an Exalted. I'm a Solar. I can take care of myself."

"No, you can't." She replies. "But that's alright. I will take care of you from now on."

She didn't calm down at all. She just LOOKS calm. But her expressionless face, twisted in a trying-to-be-reassuring fake smile beneath crying eyes, gives you the chills.

Someone knocks at the door, and the sudden noise startles her. "I will protect you." She repeats, as she stands back up, reaches for her Daiklave, and turns to the door...

"Tia."

Something is wrong.

"Tia!"

You try and stand up. It's a slow and painful slog, and even wrestling the blanket off you is an uphill battle.

You thought you managed to bring Tia's crazy somewhat under control, but apparently it can always resurface...

Legs and arms burn and sting as the fresh, raw skin of your flayed wounds rubs painfully on the bandages, the blankets, the bed, and each other.

Physical + Zenith = 6 7 8 9 3 6 3 3 = 3 successes

Tia is clearly about to put her daiklave through the door, directly. She doesn't even know who is behind the door. She doesn't care. It could be Karas, or Amata, or anyone. Worse, it could be a mortal crewman coming to check on you, someone who stands absolutely no chance to survive or dodge.

You stumble with a couple hurried steps across the small room and throw yourself at Tia.

It's like waking her from a trance. A moment ago she was so perceptive she woke up when she detected your change in breathing from sleeping to conscious. Now, she doesn't even hear you stumbling noisily across the creaky wooden floor, and just jolts in surprise when you fall on her.

Throwing away the daiklave to keep it away from you and trying to cushion you and sustain you, you both end up falling in a tangle of arms and legs, sprawled on the ground. She breaks your fall with her body.

"Don't." You whisper in her ear.

Amata opens the door, and stares down at you two with a look of disapproval.

"Maka, what the hell are you doing? You're barely alive, covered in wounds and bandages, pumped full of medicine, and all you can think about is sex? And on the floor, even? I realize the bed is a bit small here, but..."

"N-no, wait." you try and get back up, but slip as your strength fails you and plant your face in Tia's chest. "It's not how it looks like."

"Talk about a chichéd line." she giggles, offering a hand to both of you, helping you to your feet. Tia seems still confused and dazed, like she has no idea what just happened.

As soon as you're back up, both of them shove you delicately back on the bed.

"You should rest. You're wrecked."

"...Right. Right. Stay here."

You put up a token resistance. "But I want to know whay's going on."

"Alright, alright, I'll bring you up to speed so lie down now."

They sit down on the edges of the already-narrow bed, on either side. You see Amata's hands and forearms are bandaged, and she has a fresh scar across her forehead. "...yeah, the Lintha didn't give up easy." She explains, noticing your gaze. "We fought hard all over the Murdering Heart. You missed some pretty good action."

You glance sideways to Tia. She probably didn't see the rest of the fight either, as she's listening intently.

"Did you kill it?"

"Rajan got nearly blown to bits as well, but he managed to make good with his oath. We broke into the Murdering Heart's organ cavity and he insisted to personally slash its hearts open." she grins grimly. "Damn thing had a lot of blood in it."

"Got anything interesting?" You ask.

"A pretty good haul. They had quite a bit of loot in their hold, probably taken from some recent raids. Trade goods, gold and silver, raw gemstones, silk, iron, spices."

You wonder how it works when a monster ship carries in its hold/stomach spices, as your mind wanders for a moment.

"And directions for the Black Atoll." She adds.

"How did you get them?" You have to wonder.

She looks away. "...Five Tails is very good with a knife."

You never heard about a Lintha betraying his kind, not even under torture. This is a first.

"So, now, we-" You start, but Amata interrupts you.

(Cont.)
>>
"You do nothing. You're going to stay here and help me coordinate." She pushes you back down on the bed, interrupting your half-assed attempt to stand back up. "You're not frontline material now."

Tia nods vigorously.

"But-"

"Think of it as... Queen training."

"Queen training?"

"You're still inexperienced in tactics and strategy. Being removed from the action for a bit might give you perspective."

"Unlike you, I AM a frontline type of person." You reply with a sly smile. "You're going to keep me boxed only while I'm this badly hurt, but as soon as I'm back on my feet..."

You suddenly stop, noticing Tia's gaze fixed on you.

Those are the eyes of someone that's seriously, non-ironically, actually considering amputating your legs or something similar, to keep you "safe".

Amata either missed it or decided to change the subject right away to keep the conversation going. "We're setting sail for the Black Atoll now. We just finished loading the Heart's cargo and scuttling it. Or killing it, if that's a more appropriate word."

"Good. When will be arriving?" You try and shake off the cold sweat.

"A day or so. It's a good outpost, tactically. Square in the middle of an area of sea outside of the direct path of most shipping routes, but with many rich routes within three days of sailing." She sounds impressed.

One day. Wonder if they'll let you take part in it. "What kind of force will we face?"

"No idea." She shakes her head. "We don't even know if the Admiral, that Lintha you fought - probably a pureblood - was in charge of the whole operation or just of the Murdering Heart. We just know where it is."

You sink into the bed, sighing softly. Your skin itches.

Zaan certainly helped, with his medicines, but you know that the speed at which your wounds heal is increasing, compared to when you attacked the Wyld swamp. You have this perception of your powers growing steadily, in different ways and directions.

Do Exalted just steadily become stronger and stronger, more and more powerful with time? Linearly, or does this growth plateau after some time? How much time?

And yet, no matter how strong you feel, you still got almost killed. Well, you don't consider yourself a specialist warrior, in any case.

That train of thought distracted you. You should...

I'm not against getting AST either, but just saying that we can get more out of diversifying into an army. Keep in mind that we weren't even getting our shit pushed in by the BBEG last fight, but getting worn down by mooks. MOOKS.

Tougher mooks, but still.

"...what about our losses?"

"Gloria's been wrecked by gunfire. It's sailing back to Tianna for repairs. Out of the fight, probably for a while. Overall, fleet-wide, our losses were surprisingly low. Our Exalted sustained most of the fight, the toughest part at least. Overall, fifteen dead, fourteen wounded. Including pretty much all Exalted."
The Exalted will all make recoveries, of course, but some of the mortals might have been crippled for life.

Did you kill these people? You brought them to this fight. You picked a fight with the Lintha.

You shrug away those thoughts. The Lintha needed to be taken out, for too many reasons. Leaving them alone would have been worse.

"Rubel suggested setting aside part of the loot to compensate the wounded, and the families of the deceased. An old practice of theirs." Amata informs you. "Pretty good thinking for pirates." she begrudgingly admits.

The problem is that we burn through our essence & health with no chance to regain it, and while we have good soak we're taking all the hits directly to our face pretty much, especially if we get shit rolls.

Not to mention that it only applies to wherever and whoever we're fighting at the time.

If we had better trained guys, then maybe Amata's ship wouldn't have been sunk. What if we had lost her because of that, guys. How would you have magically soaked that?

Look, I'm all for us being a badass battle bitch, but we are already at Queen and Commander level. And while we can lead from the front, we can't do everything and we're going to have to delegate.

How would more trained troops that were no where near close to being able to help have helped? Sure it's great if we have them to use them, but we didn't, and in situations like that, we won't, the plan decided that, and was dependent on that, so your argument is stupidly flawed.

Don't use that argument to try and guilt trip us, that's just pathetic.

You mean to either help us with the assault, or to protect the ship that went through fierce fighting while defended only by her and a bunch of regular people? How could having trained troops have helped in that situation? Gee, I don't know.

Maybe we would have been enough of a threat that they would have had to actually focus on us instead of the captain playing cat-and-mouse with us? Or directly defending the ship?

It was a bad situation we were in regardless, but that note really points out that if we just go full combat then we're missing out on our actual force multipliers such as being able to be effective in multiple places. We got the charms to organize and control a large army, lets make them a legitimate threat on their own that can help defend us, or wear down an enemy so they're spending essence to get to us.

>You mean to either help us with the assault, or to protect the ship that went through fierce fighting while defended only by her and a bunch of regular people? How could having trained troops have helped in that situation? Gee, I don't know.
What.

In either case they would not have helped, if they came aboard to assault, they wouldn't be helping the Gloria, sure they would be helping damage the MH, but still not stopping the Gloria getting shot at, in the second case, they still wouldn't help with it getting shot at.

Also, you do realise how small the Gloria is right? It's like a yacht, it can't hold many people, the small crew piloting it and us Exalted are pretty much max capacity, so both your 'arguments' are stupid and poorly thought out.

No matter how you try to dress it up, more trained troops would not have been able to help the Gloria after we committed to help Karas, not unless the Gloria can hold a couple hundred troops...

But then again, I usually play either PF or more story-teller based games, I'm honestly not too familiar with exalted. But it said Friendly to Beginners at the top.

It just seems like it would be a better plan to not put ourselves in positions where we're taking max damage. Especially since, like I said, it seems like we have good social charms.

I'm not arguing against the AST, though, just against going directly into combat if we can avoid it.

She gently nods.

"...sometimes you just shut everything else out and don't even listen to me. Like you decide that, in that moment, the entire world is your enemy."

"Except you." She adds. "The entire world except you."

Thinking about the use of trained soldiers. We will need all of them in order to crack black atoll and make it spew out all of this goodies.

Lintha are certainly going to supplement their forces with blood apes and other demons. We should find out why Zaan doesn't like to summon demons or at least find out if he knows any banishment sorcery.

The minute of tense, nervous silcence following is interrupted by a sudden knock.

Without waiting for a response, Zaan gingerly walks in the room, slamming the door behind him. He has a large canvas satchel with him, and his torso is messily bandaged and plastered with some kind of medical goo. He has a large fish in his mouth, clearly still raw and fresh. He must've started eating it from the tail, since the head is the part poking out of his teeth. It quiclkly disappears inside his maw, though.

"Sorry, was finishing my dinner when Amata called." He explains nonchalantly. "So, let's take off these bandages and see how it's going."

With the two Lunars' help, you remove them. It's a painful, delicate process. Your skin is pale and sensitive, feeling rather like the raw flesh of an open wound, except it's almost all over your body. The light and dark patchwork reminds you of a cow's pattern.

"Uh, I'll not stay like this for long, right?" You ask, suddenly worried.

"I don't mind it." Tia replies.

Zaan ignores her. "Sometimes supernatural wounds leave scars even on the Exalted, especially when they're very deep. This damage is extensive, but not deep. It'll probably regenerate. By the way, your healing speed is really amazing for a non-Lunar. Last time I checked you, on the Lintha ship, you had about 20 fractures all over your body."

The praise makes you smile, but he gives you a stern look that makes you shut up.

"You should be careful. They haven't healed completely. Your bones are still brittle. No heavy lifting, no fighting or hard work. No running or jumping." Then his hard gaze moves to Tia. "No physical activity."

She frowns sadly.

"Honestly." He mumbles, applying the healing salve over your burned skin and beginning to wrap you up. "You should really be more careful, you know. You could've lost them. You were lucky."

"I know. I promise I'll-" wait. "Wait. Lost who?"

Read Exalted Core book page 365, its says explicitly Maiden tea renders women infertile for a month.
So if the tea failed because it wasn't high enough of a dosage, then it could very well be from the triple digits.
>>
Rolled 8 (1d10)

>>36282998
Probably.

>>36283000
In that case, we were definitely already pregnant before the festival. Probably when Tia broke our bed, or when we sank that island.

You stare at Tia. Hard.

Tia's face cracks in a broad, toothy, impossibly smug ear-to-ear grin, showing every one of her teeth from start to end.

It's the face more desperately in need of a punch you've ever seen. Not even for the sudden, unexpected news, nor for the sneaky sensation that she might have known and not told you anything. Just for how SMUG she is about it.

Zaan slowly facepalm. "...What the hell were you expecting? You're adult and gave every indication of being confident and knowledgeable about your sexuality, so-"

"I am!" You interrupt him. "And I take Maiden Tea habitually. I've been taking it for years, since before I Exalted even."

"I'm sure you did." Zaan nods sagely, grabbing Tia's head with both hands and gently trying to twist it around by 360° and snap her neck to make her stop doing that fucking face. "But did you consider, well, Tia?"

"You're saying Maiden Tea doesn't work on Exalted?" You had no idea.

"No. I'm saying Maiden Tea might not have worked with Tia specifically. There's only so much a simple medical infusion can do, and, to the best of my knowledge, Tia has been nothing but persistent about, well. You know."

You're still coping with the news. "...Yes, I know." Did Tia take the fact that you drank Maiden Tea as a CHALLENGE?

"...Is it...?" You ask, half-mumbling your words.

"A month and a half, I'd say. I only found out when tending to your wounds. It would have taken another four months or so to notice otherwise. So yes, it probably happened just after you two met for the first time."

You're not sure how to deal with this.

Okay what. How did Tia somehow make Maka FERTILE AGAIN? Maiden's tea explicitly makes the woman infertile, barren, incapable of having children.

And even then, Maiden's tea causes abortions on top of that, so the child would have died after the festival.

Zaan sighs.

"...I do. I... I love you, Tia. And I'm alright with having children. But- I wasn't expecting it. Did- did you know?"

"I hoped and suspected." She admits.

You feel like tearing your hear out. "I can't wrap my mind around it. How did you DO that?"

"Do that?" She tilts her head sideways, confused, repeating your words. "...Don't be silly, Maka. You know how I did it. I put my-"

"I mean, how did you do it despite the Maiden Tea?"

She tilts her head the other way. "What's Maiden Tea?"

Zaan slams his head on the wall as well.

"...It's a medicine that shouldn't have gotten me pregnant. I always take it."

"You should quit it for a while now, by the way." The shark lunar mumbles, still stunned.

Tia thinks about it for a moment.

"I just loved you more."

"...More than what?"

"More than the medicine you took."

"More than the med- Tia, the medicine is an inanimate object. It doesn't feel love."

"Exactly."

You're going to sink this ship by this rate.

You collapse back in the bed. "...Zaan, please, go and call Amata and Karas... I need their- They need to know. Don't tell anyone else for now. I... I need to think about it."

He nods, and, as he's about to leave, informs you: "By the way, my best guess right now is twins, or maybe triplets. It's a bit early to tell."

The door slams, leaving you alone with Tia.

"Tia..." you sigh.

She leans in closer, with a way over-excited expression on her face.

"...You should have told me."

"What? I thought you knew. I mean, we did it so much, I'd be more amazed if this DIDN'T happen.

You can't really deny that.

Still, how the heck did that happen? Fate? Was it something so romantic (and out of your control)? Or was it the fact that Tia is a shapeshifter, and a very good one? She never had any qualms about using her shapeshifting in bed, and maybe that... changed things?

Maybe with Exalted you just need a higher dose of Maiden Tea?

...And, knowing you've been pregnant all this time puts all the risks and wounds you've suffered since then in a different perspective.

Not to mention when you risked overdosing on that tea. It does make your skin crawl a bit. You didn't know anything. To think that you might've lost them there...

Credit to Exaltation in general and to your sturdy body in particular, that you still have them despite all you've put yourself through.

Was Tia so protective of you because she knew? Or, well, "knew"? You guess there was some level of purely animal instinct involved.

Lunars, man.

"Even if it might have been obvious to you, it wasn't to me. ...From now on, please talk to me about these things."

She hugs you. "And from now on... you please be more careful about yourself."

You'll have to consider that as well. There's no "yourself" any longer, in a way.

Will you be able to do your duties of a Chosen of the Sun, queen, ruler, warlord and champion of justice and all that, knowing this?

That's about when the door to the room explodes in a cloud of splinters ad Karas headbutts it into oblivion, rushing in. "WHAT IS HAPPENING WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER HOW WHEN DID THIS YOU MAKA BABIES AAAAAAAAAAAAA".

Grappling with him, arms desperately clenched around his neck, Amata is hanging on to his back, trying to restrain him and failing miserably.

Transforming your body and what comes out of it is a Lunar thing. A Solar, on the other hand, might 'perfect their body' in such a way that, say, their still-human breast milk becomes so nourishing that a single drop feeds someone for a week. In that situation, it would probably be Survival - maybe Resistance. Certainly Zenith, at any rate.

You nod, still feeling your head spinning. "Thank you. It came as a surprise to me as well, and I'm not sure how it happened exactly..."

"Maybe Tia is just too much for the Maiden Tea to handle." She suggests with a giggle.

"How can you take this so lightly?" Karas asks her, almost out of breath. "First of all, even without mentioning how irresponsible you're being, Maka! You're the heir of Gem! You can't just- I mean-"

"Oh, we already had plans to marry, in any case."

Amata nods. "All three of us."

Once he recovers the ability to speak: "You're all girls! How does that even- I mean, how DID that work?"

Before Tia can offer a practical demonstration, you cut in: "She's a shapeshifter, Karas. A Lunar."

"Can- can she shapeshift THAT too?"

"Yes, yes she can, and no, no you can't show him, Tia. At least wait a bit."

She makes a sad face.

"I might not have expected it or planned it, Karas, but I'm going to keep them."

He looks like he's about to collapse on the floor. "THEM?"

"Two or three." Zaan, half-hidden behind them up to now, steps out. The room is small, and fairly crowded by now. "It's a bit soon to tell."

I don't think anyone is suggesting he's just going to be gay, at least I'm not, I just like the idea of Karas and Talon being a thing

I personally object to him being a bottom rather than him having a Lunar husbando. It's worked out Okay for us, aside from the occasional hiccup.

I don't see how those would be mutually exclusive. We switch with Tia too.
A bara husbando doesn't need to be a top.

How is someone talking about what they like to happen sabotaging the thread?
People do it all the time, its part of the point.

What the fuck, OP, this just went full magical realm. Are we going to have pregnant babies inside us from how much romping around we do?

I mean, that sweet railroading into pregnancy? Fuck me, that's funny.

You have to get Tia pregnant now so that we're both having babies. Since I can't, you're the next closest thing.

There are no breaks on this rape train.

Congratulations bonus: +1 xp

Bringing you at a total of 4 xp.

Since it's still a bit early, a reminder: my twitter is @exaltedfag and I usually try to inform of threads with a few hours / half a day of warning, as well as posting a link to a thread when I start one. My schedule is shot to hell and back, so I might have to cancel a planned thread or spring one on you unexpectedly.

If you have any question (possibly quest-related, I might talk about other stuff if you want but up to a limit), I have an ask.fm at http://ask.fm/Exaltedfag.

And I sometimes show up on Rizon IRC, on #qmc.

Also, all extra material for this quest made by you (drawfags, writefags, etc) will be rewarded with some extra XP for Maka, or the ability to make requests.

>Railroaded
Actions having consequences is NOT the same thing as 'railroading'. If you're too stupid to understand that, you need to leave /tg/ and never come back, and strongly consider suicide, because you're clearly too stupid to contribute to society or live a meaningful life.
>>
>>36284017
>Actions having consequences
To be fair, maiden tea can mechanically not fail at its purpose, so handwaving it as "it just didn't work" is pretty much railroading.
>>
>>36283997
I'm not sure I can say that I like Karas overmuch, to tell the truth. He seems to me to be just an overgrown manchild, who just happens to possess near unlimited power. He's really going to have to pick up his game if he's going to get any respect from me.
>>
>>36284021
And only one single lonely pathetic anon lost his ass about it.
>>
>>36284017
It is though, all jokles I made about flushing out aside, if you just make something work different for the sake of making something happen that otherwise couldn't, then that is pretty much railroading.
I don't personally mind, but it is.
>>
>>36284027
His behavior reminds me of Tia when we first met her.
>>
Rolled 4 (1d10)

>>36284021
>maiden tea can mechanically not fail
In the same way swords don't break, maybe. Anything short of artifacts and exalted charms can break/fail whenever it's dramatically appropriate and whenever artifacts/exalted charms bump into it.
>>
>>36284017
I'm sorry, but what did you expect when our magical lunar husbando shoved gallons of semen down our tubes? "Welp this naturally occuring tea is fullproof, no way has birth control ever failed."
>>
>>36284021
I'm fairly certain that there are Fae, Lunar, and Shaping powers that can bypass it. Possibly also some run-arounds with First Age artifacts, Craft:Genesis, and some demonic powers.
>>
>>36284034
>In the same way swords don't break, maybe.
There are mechanics for breaking swords though.
Its not really the same thing. Its hardly the fiurst time EF took liberties with the setting to make things he wants happen or explain them, which is his prerogitive, you can't really use the exalted setting as written, but tits still handwaving.
>>
>>36284034
And remember, Tia's been experimented on by that crazy-ass guy whose name I've forgotten because I've barely touched my exalted folder in two years, so she's going to have all sorts of surprises
>>
>>36284053
She explicitly didn't use any though.
If we would have had time to shadowrun about the parentage more, I woulkd have suggested our fae at some point, because wyld influence would be the most likely explanation.
>>
Rolled 6 (1d10)

>>36284021
I'm betting it was actually something in the Wyld that nullified the tea. Probably that fae cunt we murdered. I expect he intended to be the one to knock us up.

And yes, Shaping magic ABSOLUTELY IS a mechanically-viable way to nullify literally anything mundane.

No, she doesn't. She might be able to eventually learn one, but she doesn't know it any more than we know Medicine charms.
>>
>>36284256
You voted for the orgy on the off chance that Maka would get knocked with a random stranger's kids?

>>
>>36284282
oh? I recall anons talking about her having one
>>
Rolled 2 (1d10)

>>36284296
They were talking about Lunars as a whole having one, and trying to convince her to learn it.

The problem is, it could easily require three fucking prerequisite charms. It could be an insanely heavy investment. And she definitely doesn't already have it. She's a combat-specced exalt; that kind of thing would be a huge deviation from where she's trying to specialize.
>>
>>36284296
I've brought it up, but just in the sense of her being able to get one, she also mentioned the possibility way back when we first met her, but I think that was before EF finalized her stat sheet
>>

She mentioned, briefly, that there was a way to give us something resembling Twin Faced Hero, and asked if we wanted her to look into it.

>>
>>36284296
>"...What?" You take one step back, taken completely by surprise by her statement.
>Talon takes a deep sigh and massages his eyes, with the look of someone who is used to dealing with this sort of stuff, or at least expected to. "Oh boy."
>Tia turns to you, apparently confused by your lack of approval. "...Do you prefer to be the husband? We can arrange it."
She said this way back when we first met her, but I think this was before Exaltedfag had fully decided on a full stat sheet
>>
>>36284311
>The problem is, it could easily require three fucking prerequisite charms
Lunars blood shaping technique only requires Prey's skin disguise, which Tia already has.
>>
Rolled 9 (1d10)

I don't want Tia to get pregnant. Not until we've given birth, at the very least. We're already vulnerable enough as it is now that we know we're pregnant. Imagine how much shit-kicking ability our group will lose if Tia has to be cautious too. I want to be able to rely on her to protect us while we're pregnant, instead of both of us having to stay out of harm's way.
>>
>>36284407
Then we get Amata pregnant first, as test run.
>>
>>36284407
I'm all for waiting to pop out these babies first before knocking her up.

Man I can't wait to dote on her so hard.
>>
Just so everyone knows, I am working on Silk being bored: The Sidestory, though its not finished. It will be from Talon's perspective (because getting into a fae's head causes San damage) and will explore a certain bit of fair folk lore. Or it will just be silk messing with Talon and making him see things that aren't real because she's bored. Depends on if Exaltedfag agrees with my interpretation

>Would going into the Wyld to visit Silk while pregnant affect the babies in a negative fashion?
Maybe, but probably not, since we have Silk's protection.

>Are they protected if we use Integrity-Protecting Prana?
Yes, until the umbilical cord is cut, they're parts of our body, not truly independent beings for the purposes of such charms. They're also protected by our Exalted Constitution, instead of being fragile things prone to miscarriage. That is, without a doubt, the only reason getting a ship dropped on us didn't make us lose the babies.
