You are Ur'shal, when you awoke yesterday you were a mere hunter and lowly warrior sleeping in a foul-smelling tomb. Today you awaken as chieftain of your clan. Yesterday was an eventful day to be sure.

Despite the cool morning air, your two new mates sleeping pressed up against you keep you comfortably warm, and you take a few moments to enjoy the sensation. Sadly you cannot justify staying there for too long, you are chieftain now, and unlike that fool Zo'ruz, you intend to lead your people to glory. You disentangle yourself from the two, trying not to wake them. Standing, you gather your clothing and armour from where it was tossed aside. Sho'ka stirs as you finish dressing yourself, stretching languidly, muscles flexing under her skin.

“Good morning, chieftain,” she grins, “already up? Have something better to do than spend the day with your new women?”

“The clan won't wait for me while I laze around all day in here,” you grunt, pulling on your chain shirt.

Sho'ka chuckles, starting to gather up her own clothing. “That is good, a chieftain should be busy, I'm sure you'll find time for us when the day is done. I'll bring meat for you when I scrounge some up from last night's feast, and some for little K'zala too,” she smiles.

You lay the bedroll over the still sleeping K'zala, stepping out into the morning light, Sho'ka following. Her hand brushing across your thigh as she walks off into the camp, obviously enjoying her new freedom.

You see the start of activity around the camp, and the mood seems positive, many of the young orcs favoring their new chieftain with a nod or a word of congratulations. You know that you will need to act fast to keep this mood however, your people have lived in disgrace a long time. You need to plan your next step.

The question is, what first.

Ku'zag has information you need to know, but if Zo'rok and Dru'ak are going to aid you in bringing the clan to glory, they need to know it too. You spot Dru'ak sat near the center of the camp with his new mate, looking about as close to happy as you've ever seen the stoic warrior. A'ska is being less restrained about it, hands all over your clanmate as he gnaws on some leftover bloatfrog meat from last night's feast.

He looks up as you approach, giving you a nod, which you return.

“We need to make plans, Dru'ak, the clan is eager for glory, and I will give it to them.”

Dru'ak nods again, rising from his seat, tossing the bone of the meat aside.

He sends A'ska on her way, giving her impressive rear a firm squeeze as she goes, earning him a happy growl from his new mate.

“I will go find Zo'rok, go to the shaman,” Dru'ak says, heading off towards Zo'rok's tent as you make your way to Ku'zag's on the edge of the camp.

You find the old shaman already awake, weaving together the bones of some wasteland scavenger into a totem. He looks up, waving you in, and you take a seat between the piles of strange creations literring his tent.

“Come here to ask more questions, you're a curious one, Ur'shal,” the shaman sighs, setting aside his project.

A few moments later, you hear Dru'ak and Zo'rok approaching.

“The woman's a beast, I think she broke my pelvis,” Zo'rok cackles, earning a snort from Dru'ak as they enter the tent.

“I see you've brought the whole pack stomping into my place of sanctuary,” Ku'zag grumbles, as Zo'rok and Dru'ak settle themselves down in the tent. “So what is it you want to know?”

If the father is an orc, it tends to be a somewhat shorter gestation period than the standard one for that race, usually with a couple of months trimmed off it at least. It is also single births rather than a litter from non-orcish mothers, although non-identical twins, triplets, quadruplets etc. are somewhat more common than usual.

If the mother is an orc, standard orc gestation times and a regular sized litter.

the way I see it, to the south there is a giant wall from an enemy that trounced us, it will be some time before we can take it.
Going north we face progressively stronger orc clans and then humans and harpies.
So, for war, we go north sweeping the other clans, unifying them via conquest or diplomacy. and then completely conquer the harpies and humans to the north and make them our slaves. gelding the males and breeding the females.

But aside from war, we should also look for the gods. I think taking the shaman to the tomb and helping him search it for things of religious significance that were not obvious "loot" to us would be a good idea.

We should also encourage him to get an apprentice

And we should work on flora and fauna around here. taming predators to use as shock troops during fights, or mounts, exterminating the non useful ones to increase local food availability.
>>
>>36285836
The wall is to the east, the mountains are to the north, past the tribe which has human slaves, to the south and west are other tribes, and if you go far enough south you hit the great southern jungle.

No-one knows how far the wastes stretch to the west.
>>
>>36285836
Awesome planning, first we need tog et the tribe off its ass and on its feet. Why should get the females who aren't already doing useful thing like Y'zoa (mucleorcess smith)either training in hunting, fighting, or home making(weaving butchering meat, make medicine, etc.). Also all of them should have a knife to carry in case a male decides to get fresh.
>>

>No-one knows how far the wastes stretch to the west.
Oh, in that case we have a lot of options.

Revised war plan
>Go west to unite/conquer other clans
>Go north to conquer the strongest clan, and then go further north for human slaves.
>Go south to the jungle, there must be something to conquer there, and if not, at least we will have more food than in the wastes.
>>
One thing we should remember is all the weapons from the tomb. Not only will it be useful to distribute them (if memory serves there was a shit ton) but our tribe would think we were baller for giving them awesome weapons.

“Firstly, the local hunting grounds, do you believe they can support our clan as we start to grow in size?” you ask, frowning, you think you already know the answer to this question, having seen first hand how sparse game can be.

Ku'zag shakes his head. “We would need better hunting grounds, no doubt, perhaps further south where the waste starts giving way to the great southern jungle, though we would have to force our way through other clans to reach that. For now though, the local beasts will suffice. We have enough Rootsuckers, and with the hot season coming in, the Bloatfrogs and Gulpers will be coming out of hibernation in greater numbers. Our problem is all the Crag Lions and Needlebacks around, they devour many of the Rootsuckers before we can hunt them, and Needlebacks in particular hunt more than they need.”

You nod, taking the information in as you move on to your next question.

“Tombs. We found much wealth in that tomb, with more, perhaps we could find more weapons, more old treasures and lost artifacts.”

Ku'zag nods, “Perhaps, but I know of only a few tombs near here, and the reason I know of them is because they were picked clean years ago. I don't doubt there's more out there, but most of our hunters aren't as curious as you, Ur'shal, so they haven't been looking.”

“We should make them look, perhaps we can even find some lore of the gods to bring back the priesthoods,” you add, frowning.

Ku'zag gives a weary smile, “You could find all the lore you want, it will take more than that to bring back the gods. My magic is weak, and I know plenty of their lore. They turned from us when our kingdom and our will was broken, if we wish to regain their favour, we will have to prove to them that we deserve it.”

>>
>>36286180
“So how do we do that, scream at the sky?” Zo'rok grins, leaning back to stare at the tent ceiling.

“Prove to them that we are worthy,” Ku'zag responds, picking up his staff to give Zo'rok a hard jab in the chest, the young hunter laughing as he swats away the staff and rubs his sore ribs.

“Glory in battle will bring Kul'zog Zor and Zol'gor Tor, the Gods of Fire and Blades, back to us, and Zul'orok Zhar, God of Iron will be pleased with the destruction of creatures not of this realm, I've no doubt he already took notice when you slew the Boneripper. Skor'oz Zik, god of Earth and Water, would react well to good hunts, and enduring against hardship. Hunts would please Tak'zaya Ska, Goddess of Beasts, as well, especially if we could tame some of those we caught in her name. As for Y'zagya Zoka, Goddess of Fertility, more litters would be the obvious one, though she would be pleased with the taking of women from other races to strengthen the Clan.”

You sigh, this is all a lot to take in, but you push on regardless, you can sort all this information out afterwards.

“What of the nearby clans, you told me a little last night, but we will need to raid, or trade, and I want to know your opinions on which would be best for our purposes.”

(cont)
>>
>>36286195
Ku'zag nods, “firstly, I will say this, do not go west, the Tongueripper Clan dwells west of here, and they are both large and aggressive. We lack the warriors to control them, and they are too glutted on bloodlust and cave fungus to listen to talk. That leaves the Stormhowl and Goatfoot Clans to the south, they are both smaller than us, but have gotten that way by fighting with each other. What warriors they have will be battle-hardened, and we will need to plan carefully how to work their conflict to our advantage if we wish to succeed. North is the Rockbrute Clan, they are insular and standoffish, content to raid the human tribes of the mountains and make war with the occasional ogre and harpy raiding parties. I do not think they are a large clan, but without scouting them out, it would be hard to say.

(cont)
>>
>>36286223
As for trading, we have nothing of value beyond steel weapons, which I would suggest we do not give away to rival clans.” Ku'zag sighs.

“One last question then. Do you think there are any in the clan that would be a good apprentice for you?”

Ku'zag snorts.

“I'm not going to drop dead quite yet, don't worry. I've been keeping an eye on the clan's whelps, I reckon one of A'ska's boys has a touch of the shaman about him. Perhaps her new mate could even help nudge young Zur'kaz in the right direction,” he says, giving Dru'ak a pointed stare.

Your head aches with all this new information, but these are all things you needed to know, now is the time to decide what to do with them. You doubt you can handle everything at once, but you believe you can trust Zo'rok and Dru'ak to help.

So what now?

>Pick one thing each for yourself, Zo'rok and Dru'ak to focus on in the coming days.

>Searching for tombs.
>Scouting out the local wildlife, trying to cull the number of predators to ensure more prey.
>Scouting out the local wildlife, looking for things you could domesticate for hunting or riding.

Why did we spare this guy?

Juk'ruk – Another of Zo'ruz's former allies, Juk'ruk is a wiry old orc of just under 7ft with a nasty scar on his right cheek, received from his former mate, Zik'yi. Juk'ruk was probably the most disliked of the former chieftain's warriors, with a sadistic streak that he regularly vented on his mate and on the younger orcs of the clan. Since the death of Zo'ruz, Juk'ruk has found himself stripped of his belongings and mate and forced to once more prove himself to the clan as a hunter and warrior.

You spend some time considering your options carefully, the three other orcs watching silently as you ponder.

After a time you nod, rising to your feet.

“Zo'rok, choose some warriors and head north, I want you to bring back any information you can on the Rockbrute Clan, preferrably without them knowing we're looking.”

Zo'rok grins, picking himself up. “Sounds good, I've always wanted to see a human for myself.”

Next you turn to Dru'ak. “I want you to gather some of the powerful warriors and hunters, the Crag Lions and Needlebacks are growing numerous and bold, we should cut down their numbers so that more prey survives.”

Dru'ak nods.

“What about you, Ur'shal?”

“We could do with some more strength to our clan, and earning the favour of the gods can't hurt either. I will search for beasts we can tame for hunting and war.”

Zo'rok cackles, giving you a slap on the back as he heads out of the tent. “Can't wait to see what you find, get me a pet with plenty of teeth, Ur.”

Dru'ak follows him out, and with a final nod to Ku'zag you follow.

Zo'rok and Dru'ak are already going around choosing warriors for their missions, and you do likewise. After picking a few skilled orcs, Sho'ka finds you, carrying the meat she promised.

“I hear you are going out into the wastes to search for dangerous beasts to break and tame for the clan,” she asks, handing you the meat, giving a grin that leaves no doubt as to her next question.

“You'd get lonely out there with just men day after day, perhaps you should bring your mate along, teach her how to stalk the beasts of the waste?”

whoa, going too far. also her training was never completed, it got disrupted years ago when the old chief's ambitions died and he decided instead of an assassin she will be a loli sex slave. considering she is only 14 now, I would guess she was less than 10 when her training stopped. she is not a great assassin yet, just someone with a lot of potential and a couple of levels in rogue
>>
K'zala certainly does have a talent for stealth, and you know the chieftain gave her some lessons in her youth, but you think she's a long way from being ready to kill a skilled orc warrior even with the element of surprise.

I have found it very hard to locate pictures of orcs who sum up my idea for how they look in the setting. Most female orc pictures either end up fugly, or looking like scrawny strippers who have been palette-swapped green.

Look to the description of Orcs in my pastebin and rest assured that in this setting, they are pretty hot.

“Sho'ka, if I bring you, you will listen to all of my instructions, I will not have you mistaking suicide for glory,” you growl.

Sho'ka grins, pressing up against you and dragging her tongue up your neck. “Thank you, my chieftain, I swear I won't disappoint,” she whispers in your ear, stepping back.

“Go get weapons from the stock, and fetch K'zala too, both of you will learn.”

Sho'ka practically sprints away, giddy as a youth on his first hunt, which you suppose in some ways she is.

You wait on the edge of the camp for the last of your chosen hunters to arrive. Zo'rok left a short while ago, heading north with his group, and Dru'ak is still preparing his to leave as well.

Sho'ka arrives, a spear slung over her shoulder, with K'zala in tow, who has picked up a short curved blade. You nod as they take their places near you, the last of your chosen warriors turning up a little afterwards.

“Today we do not hunt, so unless a Rootsucker falls down dead in front of you, I want you focused on beasts which we can tame and use for our clan. Keep that in mind, and keep your eyes sharp.”

There are nods of approval from the assembled hunters as you head out into the waste to seek your quarry.

You have to say you are impressed with both of your mates, Sho'ka is perhaps a little overexcitable, but she is a fast learner with a natural gift for the hunt, and she doesn't do anything bad enough to earn your ire despite her inexperience.

K'zala on the other hand is incredible, you are loathe to praise the old chieftain in any way, but clearly back when he cared to teach her, he did it well. You are proud of your finely honed senses from years of hunting, but even you find yourself having trouble keeping track of your young mate when she is out of your vision, picking silently and gracefully through the rocky ground.

Sadly the first few hours are uneventful, you spot a couple of needlebacks in the distance, but they are aggressive and stupid, not good for anything.

The sun is high in the sky when you hear a loud crash echo across the wastes, more following in its wake, like a thunderstorm on the horizon. You haven't heard that sound in many seasons, and had begun to wonder if they had migrated elsewhere in the waste. You pick your way up a high outcropping, squinting against the glare at a pair of shiny black shapes far in the distance, crashing against each other with furious force.

You grin, clambering back down and gathering your clanmates.

“I want all of you to stay very quiet and out of sight, I think we may have found something.”

You pick your way across the rocky ground, keeping to what cover you can find as you approach the shapes. They are massive, seven feet tall across the back and weighing several tons of chitin and straining muscle. They bash against each other with reckless force, the echoes of their horns crashing together echoing across the wastes.

Stormhorns, massive and hardy black beetles with great horns on their heads. From the mass of writhing soft-shelled pale things behind one of the beetles, you suspect it is protecting its nest.

Solid and powerful, but able to feed on almost anything down to rotting meat, plant waste and excrement, not to mention smarter than one would think to first look at them, these beasts would be a fine addition to your clan. Now you just have to figure out how to catch them.

Things go well, the two Stormhorns too busy brawling to notice as your stealthy pack slips across the rocky ground to the nest. The soft, pale stormhorns make some squeaks of panic as you and your clanmates start to gather them up, but the noise is all but drowned out by the battle. Soon most of your group are carrying one or two of the young, and Sho'ka excels herself, slipping in and out like an experienced hunter.

K'zala goes last, as silent as ever, carefully picking up one of the young stormhorns. Just as she stands back up, the nearby Stormhorn strikes a mighty blow against its rival, which starts to back away, the waste goes quiet, and only the panicked squeaking of the Stormhorn in K'zala's hands echoes across it.

The hulking beast wheels on its feet, tiny black eyes locking on your mate. The creature gives an enraged hiss, and K'zala, skilled but inexperienced, does what the inexperienced do when facing down death. She freezes.

You swear, dropping the young Stormhorn you had under your arm as you heft your axe and sprint forwards, the beast starting to bear down on her.

You roar, drawing the beast's attention away from your mate as you charge past her, it lowers its horn to meet you. Its body strains with force enough to turn your bones to powder if it hits, but you are fast and experienced in the hunt, and you sidestep the beast's lunge, driving your axe into the soft joint of its leg, severing it.

It's hiss gives way to a screech as it staggers, and you follow it up with a strike to the carapace of its head. You see the carapace crack under the force, pale blood starting to well up from the gap, and the Stormhorn backs away, remaining legs bunched up, hissing at you, but not willing to risk another blow.

You step back slowly, snarling at the creature, as you push K'zala back towards the rest of the group, shaking her out of her stunned state.

The creature starts to follow as you and your clanmates back away, but stops at its nest, having evidently decided to cut its losses and protect its remaining young.

It is tense for a time, your clanmates obviously tense, concerned that the squeaking of the young Stormhorns will bring more predators down on them, but soon you are far away from the nest, and can take a moment in the shade of a large outcropping to rest and recover.

K'zala is quiet as ever, but unlike before, she seems reluctant to make eye contact or draw too close to you. While you've no doubt she's still shaken by the experience, more than that, you think she's ashamed of her mistake. Perhaps you should take the opportunity to speak with her?

You sigh, walking over to where K'zala has sat herself on a rock at the edge of the group. Her shoulders tense as you approach, and she studies the ground intently. You feel her flinch as you sit down next to her, putting an arm around her side and drawing her in close. She presses up against you, but still doesn't make eye contact.

“You froze, you are new at hunting and that happens. You could have died, but that is a risk you take every time you fight. I have earned many scars in my battles, and not all of them were earned with pride when I first started to hunt.”

You reach a hand down to her chin, drawing her face up to look you in the eye.

“You will learn from this and it will make you stronger, wallowing in defeat is the way of weaklings and cowards, and you are neither. Next time you will not freeze, next time you will find glory on the hunt.”

K'zala holds your gaze for a long time, before leaning forward, burying her head in your chest.

“I will be strong, I will make you proud,” she whispers, barely audible.

You let her stay there for a few minutes, before you push her back gently and stand.

You return to the rest of your clanmates, K'zala following. They are observing the tiny wriggling Stormhorn young curiously, chatting amongst themselves about what to do with the creatures, but you figure it would be a matter best discussed at the camp, and order them to make ready to leave.

The sun is starting to get low in the sky as you return to the camp, a crowd of orcs gathering to observe the strange prize you have returned with. A pen is made for the Stormhorns, as you order your clanmates to ensure that the small creatures are fed and watered.

Sho'ka seems fascinated with the little creatures, aiding in setting up the pen and admiring them as they skitter about, while K'zala seems content to stick close to you.

Ok so, at first glance it seems like both B and C are viable targets.
But while B might seem soft, only raiding humans. They also fend off attacks by harpies and ogres.
With C, we have the opportunity to leverage their hate of each other by allying with one clan and then conquering the other together. But I don't want alliance, I want dominance.

I am really tempted of doing the 1 v 1 chief v chief battle for ownership of clan. as in, I bet my clan vs your clan. winner takes all.

Zo'rok and his group are still away, and by what Ku'zag said of the distance to the Rockbrute Clan, you doubt you'll see him until tomorrow at the earliest.

Dru'ak on the other hand is back, some of his warriors are looking a little the worse for wear, but fortunately all seem to be accounted for. He comes over to you where you stand by the edge of the Stormhorn pen, looking down at the tiny creatures curiously.

“Stormhorns? Didn't think there were any left in this part of the waste,” he grunts.

“They'll make this clan strong with time and training. The other clans will learn to fear us when we ride to battle on these,” you say with a grin, watching two of the little creatures butt their soft horns against each other, playfighting.

Dru'ak watches in silence with you for a time.

“We did well enough for our first day. Killed some Needlebacks, and ambushed a pride of Crag Lions, though some escaped.”

You sniff the air, a pungent smell drifting through the camp.

“Is that?”

Dru'ak nods.

“It's a bit stringy for my taste, but we've got a Crag Lion roasting over the fire, it's not like we have enough meat to be picky.”

The sun is starting to go down, and you have done much today. You ponder for a moment, aside from eating some of the admittedly less-than-tempting Crag Lion, is there anything else you wish to do before you sleep?

You speak with Y'zoa, who is a bit sour about Zo'rok heading north without her, but seems content enough overall, and a young orc named Sik'ruz mentions that Or'kuz didn't pull his weight today on their hunt as much as he could have. Overall though, there don't seem to be any real issues going on, the other females all seem content enough with their new mates, and Juk'ruk, the other of the former chieftain's lackeys, seems to be keeping a low profile and not causing trouble.

Your people seem happy, things are happening for the first time in a long while, some of them don't seem to entirely understand why there is now a pen of tiny Stormhorns in the camp, but they're willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Content that your clan is happy, you return to the fire, where the Crag Lion is cooked, and the meat is starting to be shared out. With most of your clan gathered, you take the opportunity to address them.

“The hunting has gone well, many Crag Lions and Needlebacks have been killed. They may not taste good, but they were stealing food that belonged to the clan, and without them, there will be more meat in the coming months. We have gathered beasts which will grow large and strong in service to our clan, these Stormhorns will make our enemies fear us, and Tak'zya Ska, Goddess of Beasts, will be pleased. Soon we will be ready to strike out in search of slaves and treasure.”

There are mumbles of approval as you continue.

Imagine what it will be like when we become a warlord
>>

“I have sent Zo'rok north with some of our warriors to seek out the Rockbrute Clan. They are small, and keep human slaves raided from the mountains. When we are ready, we will take them from them.”

That gets some excited chatter springing up amongst your clan, most have never even seen a human before, but they known enough of orc history to know that many great warriors and warlords of the past kept human slaves.

“The gods turned from our people when we grew weak, but as we grow strong and they shall return to us. Every battle, every hunt, every slave claimed for our clan, will bring us their favour. It will bring us glory!”

The clan cheers as you raise your axe skyward, a sense of anticipation running through the gathered orcs.

Your chieftain duties done, you turn to more personal concerns, taking a helping of Crag Lion meat and sitting down on a rock by the fire. K'zala, ever by your side, sits down next to you, and you sling an arm over her shoulder, drawing her in close. From the way she grinds her body up against you and gives a contented sigh, settling into a comfortable place by your side, you suspect she's feeling a lot better.

A little while afterwards, Sho'ka also joins you, having finished amusing herself watching the Stormhorns, sitting down on your opposite side, she rests a hand on your thigh, growling in your ear as she presses up against you.

Sat between your two mates, you enjoy the warmth of the fire and the meat filling your belly. It has been a good day.

Alright, here is a first draft of the god chart

https://mega.co.nz/#!fQ1F0IrJ!IEOeQKSau6z3svRSIuQLy8M7nHxcPAZwb9gh70F3K-4

I am going to see about finding appropriate religious iconography for those.

QM, do you have specific requirements and ideas about those?
I am thinking
>Kulzog zor god of fire
Fire seems obvious. Maybe a flaming spear or axe because he favors war. Or an orc that is burning with "ki fire" but isn't being consumed

>Zolgor tor, god of blades
A bloody sword or knife

>Zulorok zhar, god of iron
Celtic cross (not chrisitan kind) of bone and iron? (if I can find such an image)

>Skoroz zik, god of earth and water
water droplet on a background of cracked scorched earth?

>Takzaya ska, goddess of beasts
either a pelt... or a spiked pet collar

>Yzagya zoka, goddess of fertility
One of those "mother goddess" type fertility totems of over exaggerated female figure ancient cultures loved so much?
>>
>>36289685
i think you should take a break
>>
The next day passes much like this one, and you take Sho'ka and K'zala out with you as you search for beasts to tame once more. Sadly the day isn't particularly fruitful in that regard, but you stumble across a family of Rootsuckers, so you take the opportunity to teach your two mates a little about hunting the beasts, a subject matter which they take to well.

Dru'ak and his pack go out in search of more predators to slay, bringing back the carcass of another Crag Lion and a Needleback, not that any orc in their right mind would want to eat something as foul as Needleback meat, but after grinding it up, the young Stormhorns happily gobble it down.

(cont)
>>
>>36289848
It is late that evening when Zo'rok returns with his pack, though something seems off. One of their number is badly bruised and bloodied, tied up and carried by two of the orcs. Zo'rok comes over to you, leading you aside.

“What happened?” you ask, eying the bound orc as he strains against his bonds and spits curses at any who come close.

Zo'rok grins, “Well I've got good news and bad news.”

“The good news is, that we found the Rockbrute Clan, I know Ku'zag said they were a small clan, but I hadn't expected them to that small. Only saw a dozen orcs there, and three human slaves, plenty of empty tents though.”

He leans in, winking at you. “They may not be big as I prefer, but human women look good enough to me, the clan'll be happy to have a few of them to play with, that's for sure.”

Leaning back again, he sighs. “Thought about even trying to grab some then, with so few in the clan to stop us, but the ones there all seemed on edge, and I figured we'd camp the night, maybe hit them in the early morning when they were sleeping.”

“It was still dark when I got woken up by shouting, one of the other orcs caught that damned fool there trying to make a break for the mountains, gibbering like a madman. We had to pin him down and beat him bloody before he'd stop fighting. I don't like it, Ur, I picked these orcs because they were smart and careful, didn't expect one of them to go crazy on me.”

You take in this new information, hearing the captive orc screaming bloody murder at his clanmates in the background.

What to do?

They gather for you, all looking apprehensive.

“I need to know exactly what happened, did you notice anything strange? What did he do before you set up camp?”

The orcs glance over at one of their number, who steps forwards reluctantly.

“Zul'gor's always been solid, never knew him to do anything strange before,” he explains, shrugging.

“I was the one who woke up first, and only because he stood on my hand when he was trying to leave the camp. He was all dazed and dreamy-looking, like he wasn't all there in the head, muttering about beauty and sacrifice and all kinds of stuff I didn't understand. I tried to stop him, and he turned angry, tried to draw his blade on me, so I held onto him until the rest woke up and we pinned him down. Still had to beat him bloody before he stopped kicking.”

Another of the orcs nods. “I've hunted with Zul'gor for years, he's loyal to the clan, he'd never draw blades on his clanmate unless they drew on him first.”

You nod, taking in the information and dismissing the Orcs.

Zo'rok returns a little while afterwards, Ku'zag in tow, leading him over to the bound orc, who has shouted himself hoarse with threats and curses.

Ku'zag frowns, bones popping as he crouches down next to the orc, muttering unintelligably under his breath.

Ku'zag tuts, picking himself back up slowly as the bound orc continues to spit and curse.

“My magic is too weak now, far too weak. Back when I was young, witchery like this would have been nothing,” he grumbles, leaning on his staff.

“There's only one way to help him now. We'll need to find the three who did this to him and kill them, or make them break their spell.”

You raise an eyebrow, “Three?”

Ku'zag nods, frown deepening.

“How much have I told you about ogres, Ur'shal?”

You shrug. “Not much, big, ugly and mean.”

Ku'zag sighs, walking away from the captive orc. “Tell them to go put him away somewhere secure, I'm not going to shout over him.”

Zo'rok grabs a pair of nearby orcs, telling them to carry their deranged clanmate away and keep him tied up.

You and Zo'rok follow Ku'zag back to his tent, where he takes a seat, huffing with exhaustion for a few moments as you settle down to listen.

“That's most of it, big, ugly and mean, but I suppose I didn't explain quite how bad they can be. Zo'rok, you saw some humans when you were up north?”

Zo'rok nods, a curious expression on his face as he watches the elderly shaman.

“Imagine a human, tall as an orc and a half, decided one day it was going to fuck the ugliest bloatfrog in the wastes, and a few months later that Bloatfrog squeezed out a child.”

Zo'rok snorts with laughter, shoulders shaking, as Ku'zag continues.

“That's an ogre. I don't know much about ogre myths, never much cared to learn, but what I do know is that they weren't always like that. As I heard it, they used to be like the giants, proud and beautiful, maybe too proud, managed to offend their gods and got warped and cursed for it, made their bodies twisted, messed with their minds too. That's why they're so mean and miserable, they can't ever forget what they used to be before.”

(cont)
>>
>>36290596
Ku'zag takes a breath, reaching into a pile of assorted junk by his side, pulling out a massive dagger of black glass. “Some of them though, they weren't content to just keep being miserable, they didn't like their curse, and they wanted it gone, so they turned to other gods, gods who'd make them beautiful again in exchange for blood.”

“So the Rockbrute Clan?” you ask, starting to piece it together.

“Ogre Witches gather in covens of three, always, it's holy to their god I suppose. They use their magic to beguile, and lure in victims to sacrifice to their gods to make them beautiful again. If there's a coven near the Rockbrutes, then it's probably been luring in their clanmates and slaves a few at a time, as they need more blood, probably the same for the Crag Folk human tribes.”

“What do you suggest?”

Ku'zag puts the dagger aside, staring into space.

“I think if you ignore them, there won't be any Rockbrutes, or any Crag Folk in the area to raid either, once they're finished. Then they might even start striking south for more. Their witches don't kill all those they take, and I'd be willing to bet they've built up a cult of ogres, orcs and humans bound to their magic by now.”

“So we should kill them?”

“Perhaps, that would certainly be a safe choice, if you could do it, Ogre Witches are tricky and self-absorbed, dangerous to deal with carelessly. Ogres have not always been our enemies, though, and if you think you can handle them, they might even make for good allies, or slaves, if you've got the will to break them.”

Ku'zag shrugs. “You are the chieftain, the decision is yours, just don't make it carelessly.”

>Leave them be, we'll look elsewhere to expand our Clan.

“I hope you're going to let me come along, I'm curious to see what these terrible witches look like,” Zo'rok cackles, picking up the glass dagger Ku'zag was holding, admiring it.

“Before I go, Ku'zag, do you have any advice on how to deal these these witches and their magic, or any help you can give me?”

Ku'zag nods, rummaging in his belongings, pulling out more carved teeth, similar to the ones he gave you before to fight the Boneripper. “The magic fades after a time, but the God of Iron protects his people from magics and things not of this realm. I would like to say these will keep you safe, but my magic has grown weak, and these witches are strong, but it should protect you from the worse of it for a time.”

He passed a few to you and to Zo'rok.

“My advice would be to try and go for the witches directly. They'll throw their slaves in your path without a second thought, working their magics all the while, and there's no way to break the will of those who've had their will bound with witchery, their slaves will fight to the death for them.

Your best hope would be to ambush them and subdue them quickly, then order them to release their slaves when they're at your mercy.”

“Thank you, Ku'zag,” you nod, rising and heading out of the tent, Zo'rok following.

The question is, who will you take with you. It would not be wise to take too much of the clan, lest you return and find predators or opportunists have burned your camp to the ground.

You head back towards the center of the camp, by the Stormhorn pen, which seems to have become something of a gathering point for Orcs, who seem to enjoy watching the little things scurry about and playfight, some of the Orcs even having taken to betting food and little trinkets on the conflicts.

You will need to pick your group carefully, you have faced some dangerous things in your life, and even you feel apprehensive at the task ahead of you. Part of you is tempted to take your mates with you, but you push that thought aside, they are still too inexperienced, untested, you would rather they stay here and cut their teeth hunting more mundane quarry before they face the odds you're going in to. Zo'rok has asked to come, and you would feel better with him at your side, so you make a note to add him to the group. Aside from that, you have a few other orcs in mind, those who have excelled themselves since you took over as chieftain.

You also decide to add the two former chieftain's lackeys to your group, Or'kaz and Juk'Ruk, lazy and useless though they may have become, they still have much experience, and this would be a good chance for them to prove themselves to you. If nothing else, it will keep them making problems while you are away.

You would quite like to bring Dru'az too, but you would also like to leave the clan in the hands of someone you can trust, so in the end you decide to leave him here. Him and Ku'zag can keep things under control while you are away.

You relay your plan to Zo'rok, telling him that you will leave at first light tomorrow, he grins, going off to pass the word on to the rest of the group. For your part you return to the campfire, getting some dinner and spending some time with your two mates, speaking with Dru'ak and his wife, who seem to be getting along very well you are pleased to see.

When the fire is growing low, you bid Dru'ak and A'ska goodnight, as they head for their tent. In the morning, you will be going off to a battle unlike any you have faced before. You stare into the embers, steeling your resolve. You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan, those who stand in the way of your clan's glory will learn to kneel before you, or be crushed, that you swear.

You are shaken from your revarie by a light nip on the ear, Sho'ka pressed up against you. “Deep in thought, Ur?” she whispers, her breath hot on your ear.

You shrug.

“Nothing that can't wait until tomorrow,” you growl, standing and seizing your two wives, slinging them over your shoulders as you make for your tent, Sho'ka laughing uproariously as you go.

Tomorrow you will face this new challenge proudly, tonight you will make sure your mates do not forget you while you are gone.

>Thread End
I can stick around for some Q&A as per usual.

I apologize for anyone who was hoping for another smut scene, though I might try to write something up before the next thread to put on pastebin, if people have any preferences?
>>
>>36292425
Who did the two remaining females choose, and how old are the children we have now?
>>
>>36292425
>though I might try to write something up before the next thread to put on pastebin, if people have any preferences?
Rough, long and continuous sex with Orc loli, fill her up to the brim with cum.
>>
>>36292425
How is lesbianism viewed, between women with the same mate I mean.
>>
>>36292487
>>36292425
I'll second something like that. Maybe a bit more soft and loving though.

I think either way though, make it a one-on-one thing.
>>
>>36292519
>>36292515
>>36292487
Or maybe something with the two of them taking a more active role.
>>
>>36292575
Erh. I'm against having a 2 on 1 scene, I'd rather a complete 1 on 1 scene.
>>
>>36292425
Thanks for the thread, this quest is getting very interesting.
And i'm not here for the smut.
>>
>>36292425
More group scenes. More impregnation.
>>
I have just added short writeups on the orcish gods to the pastebin of setting information, for those interested.

>>36292476
Ul'kaza ended up with an orc named Gor'uk, who was one of the ones Dru'ak chose to help with his culling, and Zik'yi chose an orc named Zar'ag, who was one of the ones you took along with you when you found the Stormhorns.

The three children (three male) of A'ska are currently 5, they will soon be choosing their mentors, while the two from the now deceased third mate of the former chieftain (one male, one female) are 12.

>>36292515
Orcs are pretty easygoing on a lot of things, with the general opinion being that if it doesn't damage the clan or dishonour your clanmates, and it feels good, do it. So yes, lesbianism between mates for those orcs who are lucky enough to have multiple women is pretty common.

>>36292628
My pleasure, glad you're having fun.
>>
So some of you want a one on one scene between Ur'shal and K'zala, engaging in long, passionate, continuous sex for the purposes of procreation.

Others among you would like another scene with Ur'shal impregnating both his mates, but with them paying a fair bit of attention to each other as well.

Well I can't promise I'll have both done for next thread, but I aim to please, so I'll see if I can prepare something to your liking.
>>
>>36292425

If we ever do turn south, it might be smart to scout out and pay attention to how often the two clans down there fight. If we wanted to be sneaky gits we could wait until they're fighting and then go raid one of the camps for any women and children young enough to integrate properly.
>>
>>36292901
Take as long as you need.
>>
>>36292929
Great idea, place scouts near both camps then strike while the men are away.
>>
As for the next thread, it's possible I'll have something up over the weekend, but unlikely.

Tuesday is far more likely, but keep an eye on the twitter for more information.
>>
>>36292984
Well probably how it works is the one tribe goes and attacks the other tribe's camp rather than a pitched battle in the middle somewhere, so we can probably only hit one at once, and also splitting our forces really sounds like a bad idea to me.
>>
>>36293033
That's what I meant
>>
>>36292929
We do want warriors though, it might be more practical to absorb one tribe for the power to finally take out the other.
>>
>>36293089
We'll probably get warriors from the northern tribe if we free them.
Then we hit a camp, and mop both tribes up.
>>
>>36293143
i am saying that i want to acquire some warriors from the 2 warring tribes. ideally we assimilate one of them and then crush the other one together. that way we get a net gain of warriors instead of only females and children.
>>
>>36292425
Did zo'rok mention whether any of the dozen Rockbrutes left were women?
I'm thinking about how best to agree to integrate, and I think the easiest way would be that if any of the human slaves belong to anyone in particular they'll stay belonging to them, but if they're common property they'll be common property for our original clan too from now on. Anyone we "rescue" from the ogres is fair game for us personally to distribute though. Basically the same for any women of their clan (not that there will be shared orc women, but that we have the right to distribute any orc women rescued from the ogres.)
>>
Guys I just read the past bin, there are brown elves to the south.
>>
>>36293195
Eight men, four women.
>>
>>36293174
I'm honestly not sure we really COULD assimilate either of them. The ones to the north we're going to be coming at from a relative position of strength AS WELL as helping out, it'll probably be easy, but the two clans to our south are hardened warriors and they almost certainly know it.
>>
>>36293217
Frankly the jungle is pretty desireable anyway because it can support you if you manage to tame it, we're never going to be able to get THAT much out of the badland's we're currently in.
>>
>>36293254
What if we challenge their leaders, that could work.
>>
>>36293236
Well, anyone disagree with my thoughts for women and slaves upon integrating?
>>
>>36293195
>>36293304
I'd say let the women choose who to go with, they can stay with their current mate if they're happy.
>>
>>36293254
hardened warriors, but few in numbers. and locked in battle which has been sapping them dry

>>36293294
that would work too.
>>
>>36293236
are all four women human slaves?
>>
>>36293464
No, four of the remaining twelve orcs are women, there are also three human slaves, two of which are women and one of which is a man.
>>
>>36293428
Eh I'm fine with "allowances" to make agreeing to join us easier. The main reason we let the ones from our tribe choose was more because we didn't particularly care we just wanted them to NOT belong to the former good old boy's club.
>>
Also, I'd like to apologize for the beginning of the thread. I felt like I left too many open choices near the start today, which made it hard to figure out a winning option and led to a ton of time-consuming clarifications.

I'll do my best to tighten things up a bit in the future to avoid any more time-wasting like that.
>>
>>36293503
I thought it was to make sure the girls go to worthy mates and are at least somewhat happy-ish
>>
>>36293611
>>36293503
That's what I was thinking make sure they go to the strongest best orcas, not a Chief who can't even protect his tribe and his buddies.

>>
>>36294149
Orcas are dolphins...
>>
>>36294292
well, wikipedia says you are right
apparently what I am calling a dolphin is actuall a porpoise. Porpoise and whales both belong to the dolphin family.
that being said, porpoises are the rapists of the sea. I don't know of orca doing rapes
