“Sinestro!” you scream. He stands there, arms folded up, nonchalant as if he had not escaped from the Anti-matter dimension. He smirks at you, as you stand in what used to be a nice pleasant field in the dimension known as “Gemworld,” ruled by one of your fans, Princess Amethyst who is lying unconscious along with Clarissa on the ground. “How did you escape!?”

This is going to take some explaining, you’re sure of it.

But put it shortly, you are Lumière Berger, Green Lantern of Sector 2814 and you are staring down your former teacher.

“Nice to see you too, I see you’ve missed me,” he says simply. He looks you up and down, smiling. “I see you’ve gotten a new outfit. Showy.”

“I did not miss you at all you cretin!” You pull up your ring, aiming it right at him. “I will not hesitate this time nor will there be words between us! You belong in the anti-matter dimension!”

“Says who?” You’re about to say- “The Guardians do not count, those little blue garden gnomes who call themselves Guardians are nothing if not senile.” He holds up his yellow ring. “I’ve had some time to reflect, you know. I suppose the Guardians sent me into the anti-matter dimension to humble me.” He starts walking up to you, arms wide and smiling. “And it did! I have new perspective on the universe that I take for granted!”

You narrow your eyes. “… quoi?” You step away from him, nervous.

He grins. “I realize the Green Lantern Corps will go nowhere if they are held back by those little blue monsters.” He stops, just a foot away from you. “And like it or not, the Green Lantern Corps is my whole, that is why I would do anything to save it.”

You gag a little. You just got reminded of the future. Ugh, those alien lips…

Then again, Sinestro is quite muscular, and apparently time has been quite kind to him-

NO NO NO, DON’T THINK OF HIM, JUST IMAGINE HIM IN HIS UNDERWEAR.

Scratch that, no. That is a terrible idea. But you suppose this isn’t as bad as Vandal Savage and Legion’s future for the universe. You hold up your hands, stepping back. “Sinestro. Look, I can understand that is why you have a Yellow Ring, composed of the one thing Green Lanterns are vulnerable to. We have had a terrible future that I have looked into that the Guardians themselves ignore in favor of shoving their heads into the dirt like ostriches. You and uh… some big Kilowog person-“

“Arkillo?” You blink. He smirks. “Friend of mine.”

“… right. Um.” You rub your hands together. “Look, explain yourself. How did you- why did you escape?”

“The anti-matter universe is filled with enemies to the Green Lantern Corps,” he says. “Call me the first person to not actively want it gone, just replaced.” You tilt your head. He holds up his ring. “I have been given this ring, and a lantern, by a very kind benefactor for my ability to inspire fear in others.” Fear? “That’s right, fear. You see, all things feel fear, even Green Lanterns. That’s why I will start my own Corps.”

[1/2]
>>
>>36469060
[2/2]

You glare at him. This can’t be happening. “You- you mean to oppose the Green Lanterns?”

“If it comes to it, yes,” he says. “I haven’t figured a name for my Corps, the Yellow Lanterns is so plain, something more…” He snaps his finger.

You roll your eyes. “What, the Sinestro Corps?”

“Funny story, a man in gold came to me with that name,” he says. “I might just stick with that.” He waves his arms around. “And this, uh… Gemworld is it?” You nod. “Well, honest mistake, I was trying to break into the real universe. But since you are here…” He walks up to you.

You pull up your ring. “Get away from me!”

He holds up his hands. “Now, now, I don’t mean harm to you. You are my finest student, I will not mince words.” He holds up a spare yellow ring. “I invite you to join me at my side. What do you say?”

“I-…” You blink. No, he’s- But- He’s! AGH! He walks up to you, and gently takes your hand. He places the ring in your hand, right then and there.

“I’ve seen your failures,” he says. You blink, surprised, blushing embarrassedly. Oh jeez. “Let me tell you, you would have much more success with this ring, then with the Green.” He steps back and keeps his hands up. “I will return, and try again to break into the real universe. Consider my offer, as one of the first members of…” He smirks. “The Sinestro Corps.” He flies up into the clouds.

You look down at your hands, to the golden yellow ring.

You ball your fist over the ring, holding it tight. It might be useful. Might. You quickly stuff it in your breast pocket underneath your breastplate. You look up, the clouds subside, and the crystals quickly start losing their glow and luster, as if becoming inert. Looks like things are quickly returning to normal, as if Sinestro had not come into Gemworld at all.

“Ugh…” Clarissa wakes up, as does Princess Amethyst. “What happened?”

You help her up, taking her hand and pulling. “Sinestro happened.” She nods, her eyes narrow, expecting. “I sent him back where he belonged.” Little white lie, but Clarissa is satisfied, and she smiles at you.

“Good, good.” She taps your cheek. “Nice work, toots.” She looks over to Princess Amethyst. “And you, Princess, looks like we’ve saved Rockworld!”

“Gemworld,” Princess Amethyst says correctly.

“Gemland,” says Clarissa. “Now can we go?”

Princess Amethyst smiles. “Actually, Green Lantern.” She walks up to you. “It’s nice to have a visitor to my magical realm! Perhaps you would stay, just for dinner?” She smiles, very hopeful, her eyes watering a bit, aww…

comics have been left leaning since the 70s

plenty of Gay and Lesbian characters around today. Usually not leads or important characters but there are exceptions.

Renee Montoya, the current Batwoman, Maggie Sawyer, the Pied Piper, Daken is bi-sexual, Batgirl had a transgendered supporting character. Ultimate Colossus was gay. There was alt universe title where Wolverine and Hercules was a couple. Gillen's Young Avengers implied the entire cast is gay and or bi. Constantine is Bi (disputed among fans)

I know I'm missing a bunch and that's just DC and Marvel.
>>
>>36469737
There's a few cases like Harley and Ivy where everyone knows what's going on but the authors can't comment. I think there was a hero that was gay recently, but it was mentioned exactly once and his boyfriend didn't survive past the first issue.

She folds her arms up, indignant. “Yeah, for you.” Well, she’s not wrong. “I don’t get this weird medieval Princess crap. Put me in a speakeasy and I’ll dance the Charleston right off your cute little bum, GL.” You roll your eyes. Charleston, that dance is older than you are. So old-fashioned!

Princess Amethyst gallops up, her majestic steed rearing with pride. “TO AMETHYST CASTLE!” She swings her sword forth. “HYAAAAH!” You three blast off.

Well, if there is one thing you can rely on, it’s the fact that Clarissa is still a big eater. She heartily eats up everything Princess Amethyst has to offer from this feast. Chicken, turkey, roast beef, apples, oranges, pears, prunes, lettuce, bread, milk, bevo, and everything and their mothers just goes right down her bottomless gullet. More frog people move to and fro, happily shifting plates and setting down more for you all to eat.

Unlike the Black Hole that is your fellow Green Lantern, you and Princess Amethyst have chosen more modest meals. “So, Princess Amethyst, I must ask you a favor.”

She smiles. “Anything for you, Green Lantern!”

“There is a world-conquering monster known as Legion who wants to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and conquer the universe. He’s enlisted an army of former police robots known as Manhunters designed to snuff out emotion. I’m gathering allies of the highest caliber because the only chance we have of defeating him and them is if we band together, because if we don’t, he’ll conquer the universe, Vandal Savage will conquer the Earth, and I will be having sex with an alien.”

Clarissa spits out her chicken, hacking and wheezing. “What!?”

Princess Amethyst blinks. “That’s… that’s quite the explanation. Bloody hell.”

“Will you help us?” you ask.

She taps her chin, looking around. “Um. I am not sure… I mean- I like it here in Gemworld but-“

Clarissa pauses, her cheeks stuff full. “Mhm.” She swallows. “What was that about aliens?”

Princess Amethyst grunts, holding her chin. “Well…” She stands up, out of her queenly chair at the queenly dining table. “Servants! BRING ME MY ADVISORY COUNCIL!”

A wall slides away from the dining room, revealing a table of other humans in fine medieval clothing, marking them as nobility of the House of Amethyst. “We are at your beck and call,” they say.

Princess Amethyst looks surprised. “… do you just camp out in there until I need you?” They all nod. “Oh, jolly good.” She looks down at one of her frog servants. “Servant, bring us some tea, I’m thinking Orange Pekoe.” The frog servant leaves. She looks over to you two. “As for you, Green Lanterns. I will need to consult my council, it may take some time. So feel free to close the tear and return to the real universe.”

Take as much time as you need, but please try and contact us.” You hold up your ring. “Our rings should be able to interface with your magic, but if not, please refer to a colleague of mine in the Justice Society, Doctor Fate.”

Princess Amethyst smiles. “Thank you so much, Green Lantern!” She jumps up and hugs you tight. Awww, your fan is hugging you!

Now you have TWO fans! Ehehehe, you’re creeping up on Clarissa’s fandom now!

“Right, let’s roll,” says Clarissa.

With your powers combined, your rings project a beam which cauterizes the tear, slicing it up and making it disappear into thin air. Gemworld is no longer an issue to the planet Earth anymore! “Right,” says Clarissa. “You’re still under planetary arrest you know.”

“Thank you for reminding me,” you say in your most deadpan tone. “Do you want a reward?” She smiles, hopeful. “That was sarcasm.” Her smile drops. “Now, I know I am under planetary arrest, but-“ Your ring beeps. You pull it up. “Green Lantern Berger here, send.” A screen pops up, showing Kilowog. “Monsieur Kilowog, what news?”

“I’m on the trail of the Blue Lanterns,” says Kilowog. “Mogo directed me to someone called Walker. How are things on your end?”

Clarissa pushes your head out of the way. Ow! “We’re doing fine you big hunk of meat! Things are just dandy!” You push her away.

“Ha!” Kilowog laughs, but then his smile fades. “Listen, I haven’t heard from Tomar-Re yet. He traveled down to an uncharted planet which was emitting a strange signal. No contact since. I gotta admit, I’m kinda hoping that fish-faced boyscout isn’t dead or anything.”

“You want us to check it out?” you ask.

“Maybe just Clarissa and Chaselon, you’re still under planetary arrest.” You frown. “I’ll keep in touch, alright?” You nod, and the screen disappears.

Clarissa sighs, crossing her arms. “Well, alone again, GL.”

You cross your arms. “Go on then, I can wait.” She smiles. “Don’t look at me like that, just be quick and make sure Tomar-Re is okay. Take Chaselon with you if you can.”

She rolls her eyes. “That square?” You narrow your eyes. “Okay, I know he’s technically an orb, but he’s still a square. He’s so square I swear he can cut the air with those corners that he bares.” Ugh, that was terrible. “Didn’t like that?” she asks, and you shake your head in response. “Fine, fine. Listen, I hear you’re short a job, so why not take the time to look for one!?” She starts running away, ready to go. “You might find a nice one that suits you!”

And with that, she blasts off.

You sigh. Maybe she’s right. You do actually need a job of some kind.

You place your hand on your breast. Wait. You reach into its pocket, then pull out the Yellow Ring.

They can hear everything through those green rings. Since the ring hasn't come up in conversation, we should be good, but if our ring is turned off and they pick up projection sounds or whatever, we're going to get some very problematic questions coming our way.

So yeah, blocking the camera should we get a call, muting the sound, etc, should be a priority.

You hold up the Yellow Ring. Hm.

Well, nothing to lose you suppose except your sanity. You slip the Green Ring off, feeling a brief burst of cold as the cold nips at your skin. You quickly slip the Yellow Ring on. Your costume quickly changes into a black dress, with yellow highlights. You gain a new chestplate, with a new emblem stamped into the center. A cape flows along your back, ending at your hindquarters, and coming with a hood to shade your face, even with the domino mask as well. You gain new gauntlets to fit over your elbow length gloves, and your skirt is now SIGNIFICANTLY shorter, with your thigh-high socks replaced with black pantyhose.

Well, wow! This… feels so… so…

POWERFUL!

You laugh, yellow energy feeding from the ring. You feel like you can do anything now, even beat the Green Lantern Corps, and-

A roar interrupts your throats.

OH JESUS CHRIST, A POLAR BEAR!

You stand firm, digging your feet into the snow. You hold out your hands at him. “Ha!” you scream. He roars, circling you, baring his teeth. You need to scare this bear away! You start projecting a construct behind you. Someone that all polar bears fear. You saw him in a movie once, and you figure his hunting skill will scare even the most apex of predators.

He stands behind you, glowing yellow, his eyes fiery yellow as he towers over you. He wears furs from all his kills, and his harpoon is sharp, bloody. He continues growing bigger, and bigger, until he is twice your height. The Polar Bear looks up at him.

Behold, simple bear, Nanook of the North!

The Polar Bear turns away, running. Nanook will have none of that however, he smashes his harpoon down in front of the Polar Bear, blocking his escape. You hear whining and squealing from the bear as it tries to get away. “That’s right, run! Run you pathetic little animal!” you shout. Nanook continues smashing harpoons down, blocking the escape of the bear until finally, you have him cornered. He buckles down, whining and howling in fright.

This poor pathetic animal is crying! Ahaha!

Ahaha…

You look down at your ring, then back up at Nanook. He stares down at you, awaiting your command. This Polar Bear is too frightened to do anything else now. Oh…

You sigh, then withdraw Nanook and his harpoons back into your ring. The Polar Bear whirls his head around, confused. You shout at him. “Go!” He whines, galloping through the snow at full-tilt, running away into the fog.

You sigh, crossing your arms. You look down at your ring.

This scary business is scary.

Damn it, you wanted to keep that bear now.

You sigh, sitting in the snow, looking around.

Well, at least the ring works, but now you feel terrible. That poor bear!

Ugh, what to do now…

Book of OA (GS gets final say of course)

1. The protection of life and liberty within the assigned sector.(Revision allows lethal force to be used against the Sinestro Corps, and then later, against all enemies of the Green Lantern Corps.)
2. Following the orders of the Guardians without question.
3. Noninterference with a planet's culture, political structure, or its population's collective will.
4. Acting within local laws and obeying the local authority within reason. (Presumably, The Guardians' orders can overrule this when necessary).
5. Taking no action against anyone or anything until they are proven to be a threat against life and liberty.
6. Refusing to use the equipment, resources or authority of The Corps for personal gain.
7. Showing respect for and cooperating with other members of the Corps and the Guardians.
8. Showing respect for life which includes restraint of force unless there is no reasonable alternative.
9. Giving top priority to the greatest danger in the assigned sector.
10. Upholding the honor of the Corps.

That depends on the kind of ship, where it's situated, and if anyone will clue in on the fact that if it's in the middle of the ocean, and we travel there with our green ring to minimize detection, if someone wouldn't put two and two together when they register us turning it off in the middle of, you know, the fucking ocean.

We can do the boat thing if we run out of options, but lets stick to normal job hunting first, yeah? Not having a job and suddenly busting out tons and tons of money would probably set off a few alarms too.

“Right, Miss, Lumierry… Burger.”

You had to resist the urge to correct him as you sat there in a green dress of the Power Ring’s design. You need something formal and fancy for the occasional, and you just happened to have it right there. You smile however, forcefully.

You decided to play it safe and be a waitress again, this time at a pub in Camden. “Right… so, Miss Burger. Let’s say, you have a few years’ experience as a waitress, back in France.” You nod. “You also have a previous employer who can back up your reliability…” The manager is a fat man, obviously someone you don’t want to work with, especially since he keeps undressing you with his eyes, you can just feel him trying to get the Man of Steel’s vision and it’s not working. “Hm…”

You lean forward a little. “Um, Monsieur.” He looks up, turning his brow up. “I must say that my schedule is very erratic, so um… I don’t suppose you-“

He sighs. “No, we run on fixed schedules, madam. You don’t abide, unfortunately, we cannot abide, and then you are fired.” He leans back, smirking a bit, licking his lips. “However, perhaps we can come to an agreement?”

You exit the pub, taking your purse with you. The nerve! This was your last chance at a waitressing job too!

Ugh. Where else are you going to get a job-

You quickly double back, looking in the window.

You hold up a finger, quickly mouthing off to him, “One second, Monsieur!” He nods, understanding. You return to the phone and quickly say, “Monsieur Wayne, my name is Lumi Berger, I happen to be a French girl in Great Britain with a lot of time on my hands with housekeeping skills and I would be happy to take care of your mansion in your place here in Cornwall, please write to me later, oui? Oui!”

With that, the machine says, “This call was ONE MINUTE and SEVEN SECONDS. You will be charged ONE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS OR EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE CURRENCY.” Ah, merde. So this is how Bruce Wayne built his fortune. You roll your eyes, clicking the phone and walking out of the phone booth.

You hold out your arms, grinning. “Monsieur Nodell! Marvin!” He pets you on the head, laughing. Then you blink, surprised. “What happened to your face!?”

You didn’t notice this earlier, but indeed, he actually has quite the scar on his cheek, almost as if something stabbed right through his face! He points to it, smiling. “Oh, this? It’s nothing, admittedly, it’s the reason why I am here, you see. Was flying the old girl over the Channel, 109s caught us, shrapnel went right through my cheek. They sewed it up right and good though, and I’m home for leave!”

You place your hand on his cheek. “Oooh, Monsieur, does it hurt?” He chuckles as he clearly cringes a bit. “It hurts, oui?”

“A little bit,” he says. “Just don’t ask me to drink or eat any hot foods or do anything particularly mouth-intensive, right.” You nod. “Jolly good.”

“Now, me mum was crying the minute she saw the scar,” says Marvin over a cup of tea in a cozy little café. “Father, he didn’t approve of me being a bomber pilot instead of flying one of the Hurricanes or Spitfires like with the Poles. But when he saw what the shrap did to my blooming face, I knew, he must have eaten those words of his.” He smiles as he dips more sugar into his tea, sweetening it considerably. “Of course, it still hurts a little, but nice to know my parents are still supportive.”

You nod. “Oui, it is nice to have family in times of crisis.” You sigh, that hit home closer than you thought it would. “How is your bomber?”

“Surprisingly, besides the damage to the cockpit, relatively fine!” he says. He takes a sip of his tea, leaning on his stool as he looks about the café. “Even the nose art came out good.”

“Nose art?” He blinks, pausing mid-sip. “What is it of?”

He looks to you, then says, “Oh, it’s… something the boys made me paint. It’s um…” He shrugs. “Very womanly.” You nod, it must be of Boudica, or perhaps even Joan of Arc! “Yeah, or uh… oui as you say it.”

You nod, taking a bite out of a croissant. “I see,” you say. “Do you have a picture of it?”

You nod. “I was a waitress in my home country in Dunkirk.”

“Ah, that explains it,” he says. “I hadn’t held a job meself, I was more of a student. What made you take up a job so young?”

“My father was a bit of a drunkard, and we did not have mother to support us, so I just naturally took one,” you say. “Seemed fair.” He nods at that, taking a sip of his tea. “Are you still drawing, Monsieur?”

He nods, smiling. “Yeah, unfortunately I left my sketchbook back home, didn’t expect to run into you. Um…” He purses his lips, then eyes you nervously. “So, have things been well?” You tilt your head. “You know.”

Yeah a lot of the heroes have that kind of thing tossed around.

This was all stuff said late though, early on it was just kind of, never brought up in any lasting manner that mattered

Exactly. Let's see what he has to say about Lumi's track record.

Oh, how ilLuminating!

> “Things are fine.”

You shrug. He knows, ugh… why are you so distinctive!? “Well, Marvin, things are fine, they are fine. I met a few new people here and there. Lost touch with some as well. But you know, I really wish things could be better. I mean, some of these days I feel quite useless.” He frowns at that. “You ever have that feeling?”

“Sometimes,” he says. “Sometimes I wonder if things could better for me, for my family, and for England. With all this talk of war, and all this business in flying bombers over the Channel, into enemy territory, the faint thought that I might not come back. It’s frightening sometimes.” You nod, folding your arms. “Lumi, you must understand that sometimes life will not hand you everything you want. But that doesn’t mean you should take it in the face.” He points to his own face, at his scar. “Like I did.”

You grunt. “What then, Marvin?”

“Well, Lumi, I know you can be a great person. You are a great person.” You smile at that, blushing a bit and swelling in pride. “Don’t ever let them call you useless. To me, you’re just like the Green Lantern.”

You wave your hand at him. “Ooh, stop!” He laughs. “You are embarrassing me, Marvin!”

“Take it as you will,” he says. “I know you believe me.”

Oh, you do, a little bit. You do.

The both of you walk out of the café. “Well, I should be going, Lumi. It’s been nice to see you again.” He pats you on the head, smiling. “Take care of yourself, okay?” You nod.

You wrap your arms around him. Then, you stand on your tiptoes, and gently plant a kiss on his good cheek. He smiles, a hint of pink to his cheeks as you stand down. “Aw, thanks, Lumi. Needed that.” He pats your cheek gently. “Good luck, okay?” You nod, and with that he turns around, walking away.

Ah, oui, RAF pilots.

You clench your thighs a bit, grinning stupidly. Oooh lala~…

You open up the door to your apartment, yawning. Steel barks, happily trying to crawl up your leg. “Aw, who’s a little Schteel.” You lift up him up, nuzzling his nose happily. At least you’ve got something to look forward to. Hopefully you get the job! You feel like a shower is in order! You place Steel down on your bed, and hand him a bone. He hastily starts chewing and gnawing at it while you strip down, a simple task thanks to the fact that your dress and your underwear are actually constructs.

Your ring beeps. Huh? You open the door to your bathroom. Better not be Salaak again or-

You fall down on a hard rock floor. You quickly project up your magical uniform, quickly looking around to see what’s what. Around stand dozens of alien women, in very… VERY… skimpy clothing, very skimpy violet clothing! What- What is-

“Our newest Star Sapphire has brought forth her true love!” All the girls cheer, throwing their arms in the air.

What.

You look up to see Clarissa, looking around nervously, in an outfit that screams complete whore. You glare at her, and she looks at you, nervously. “Ehehehe… hi, GL.”

You narrow your eyes at her. “What is going on!?”

She quickly walks up to you. “Listen, I found Tomar-Re, but uh…” She holds up a Violet ring. “Look, can you just play along with me for a second?” she says quickly. “These guys mean business, and I mean business like robber baron Andrew Carnegie business and that’s business you do not want to tangle with!”

It's not that they're lesbians, it's just they feed off Love, in all its myriad forms. Love gained, Love lost, Love unrequited--all of it powers their rings. Thing is, that love tends to corrupt the owner and see Love as the conquering element of conflict above all else.

> “… fine.”

You pick up the ring. “Fine.” You whisper to her. “But you will explain everything to me later, you understand?” She nods quickly, nervous, uncharacteristically nervous. You take off your Green Ring, then quickly slip on the Violet Ring.

Surprisingly, your outfit is not quite as slutty as theirs. It is just a short violet nightgown with a domino mask.

And that’s it. You feel around your hips and your shoulders, feeling no bands or wire or anything indicating that you’re wearing anything underneath. There is QUITE a draft. Oh Jesus Christ, if your father could see you now he’d give you a whipping or two. “Wow,” says Clarissa. She grins. “You look nice-“ You plant a piece of violet tape over her mouth.

Then out of the crowd of the aliens, comes forth a mighty blue woman, much like the Guardians in fact except much more shapely and beautiful… quite beautiful. You feel like… like…

You feel strange, something in your heart is telling you something.

“Welcome to the Star Sapphire Corps,” she announces. “I am Queen Aga’po. We are protectors and sentinels of the most purest emotion of the spectrum: love. We welcome you among our kind.” You blink. Love… “Clarissa here, our second newest member, has apparently summoned you, for you are her true love.”

You blink, wait, what? You look to her.

Clarissa coughs, blushing. “Uh, ring must be malfunctioning.” Yeah, that must be it. “Uh, listen, Agatha.”

“Aga’po,” says the Queen.

“Yeah, Chin’po,” says Clarissa. “Look, as nice and uh… lovely your… your Corps is. We can’t stay Star Sapphires, and you can’t keep Tomar-Re locked up in there!” Aga’po motions to you, and Clarissa looks to you, blinking. She furrows her brow, then glares at Aga’po. “Look, you can’t sway me like that! I-“ Clarissa looks to you again. “I-“ She holds her head, screaming. “AAAHHH! MY HEAD!” She runs through the crowd, tackling several Star Sapphires out of the way. “I NEED TO GET THIS RING OFF!” she screams.

[1/2]
>>
>>36475229
Clarissa is competent, unlike Lantern Berger
>>
>>36475244
Aga’po sighs, then looks to you. “I have observed you briefly before you arrival, ‘Lumi’.” Oh, she knows your name? “The Star Sapphire Corps does indeed have your friend Tomar-Re here, but we ask only that you stay a while.”

You feel a bit dizzy. You, you would love that, staying with them. They seem so hospitable.

Aga’po places her hand on your shoulder. “We ask that you only bring your true love here, so we can preserve them forever and ever.”

… you…

This-…

“I…” You hold up your ring. Monsieur Nodell, and… and Robin, and… Sinestro, and-…

Your ring projects forth a portal. No! Wait- No!

“She’s summoning her great love!” screams a Sapphire. They all gather together, awaiting.

But… you want to be loved!

You want love!

> CRITICAL FAILURE

Yes, you want to bring forth your true love! Your greatest love! You put forth all your power into the portal. It roars to life, forming a great wormhole which towers over all of you. Wind rushes past you all, blinding your eyes. Clarissa comes back out of the crowd, flashing green and Violet wearing both her Green Ring and Violet Ring, obviously struggling. “GL! Noo!” she screams. She rushes at you, and the other Star Sapphires immediately grab her and hold her down.

“She must!” yell the Star Sapphires.

Queen Aga’po smiles. “Her true love cometh forth!”

And out walks Thaal Sinestro. He looks to you, surprised. “Lumi…” he says quietly. Thaal! THAAL! You rush to him, hugging him.

“I love you, Thaal!” you scream. He stands there, in shock.

Then Monsieur Marvin Nodell pops out of the portal. “Ugh…” He stands up, then looks around. “Oh, oh dear.” You snap out of your love-induced trance. Wait. That shouldn’t happen. All the other Star Sapphires look around, confused. Even Queen Aga’po looks a bit distressed.

Then Robin flies out of the portal, landing next to Marvin. He stands up, then looks around. “… oh jeez, not again.” Batman comes walking in after as well. “Batman, it’s happened again!”

Batman nods, then looks around. “I’m Batman, sorry to disturb you all.”

“What’s going on!?” yells a Star Sapphire. Doctor Fate and the Atom fly through, landing on their rears. Then Salaak, who lands on his face. Kilowog is thrown through, landing and piling on top of a bunch of Sapphires.

Queen Aga’po looks to you. “You need to stop this.” You look to your ring, and shake your hand.

“I-…” You blink, so many things are flowing through your mind. “I can’t!” Suddenly, the earth shakes. “… what was that?” you ask.

Clarissa points up to the sky. “Look!”

It appears, that Mogo has arrived, and is now on collision course with the planet.

>A nightie with no underwear
I need something art of this, plus slut eyes. No slut is complete without heart pupils.
>>
>>36475758
Papa? Mama's corpse?
>>
>>36475760
next Decu drawthread can't come soon enough

add Sinestro to the request and Decu cannot resist
>>
>>36475746
>apocalyptically incompetent in violet
You think the Sapphires will start actual assessments when handing out a ring after this?
>>
>>36475814
It'd be a good fucking idea.
>>
>>36475746
Man, now I'm imagining her pulling on the other two rings just in time to smack Larfleeze with an exceptionally oversized hammer.
>>
>>36475814
When people think "true love," they normally don't think "Mogo."
>>
>>36475792
Mogo appears above like Majora's Moon?
>>
>>36475814
>implying they won't promote Lumi to Predator host

"Sapphire Berger. Your love is a shining example to all other Sapphires. Your heart is as open as your legs!"
>>
>>36475836
Lumi is one special girl

I bet the SS are at least a little impressed
>>
>>36475836
Yeah, but most people also have a concept of "love" to be held "true". Really, this is Schteel's fault. If Lumi had the capacity to conceptualize Clarissa's interest, this wouldn't have happened.
>>
>>36475840
>voyeur Mogo
>but Mogo saw everything

this should be a thing
>>
>>36475852
Honor Guard even.
>>
>>36475852

>Lumi with the power of The Predator

That's almost as terrifying as Lumi playing host to Parallax.
>>
>>36475814
If Lumi manages to inspire the beings of the marvel universe who go around randomly handing out cosmic power to people on spurious bases to actually do basic background and competency checks, she might actually have the greatest positive influence of any single being in the entire multiverse.
>>
>>36475860
Agreed. Clarissa and Lumi would have been a fantastic pairing. Schteel shotdown a best.
>>
>>36475860
Lumi is Clarissa's true love. That doesn't currently mean Clarissa is Lumi's true love yet.
>>
>>36475522
So, based on this failure and how she summoned multiple people, Lumi really is a goddamn slut.
>>
>>36475883
>>36475882
/u/boats do not surrender. They must be sunk
>>
>>36475852
Really? I figured they be trying to play keepaway as long as possible while justifying it as a "our fates can never meet" romance out of sheer pants shitting terror.
>>
>>36475901
love is irrational
>>
>>36475889
That or she has no true concept of love yet. When the Sapphires said "summon your true love," she didn't know what that meant, so she's summoning everyone important to her. Expect Red Tornado to show up and see a nude Lumiere.

>>36475924
And that's the weakness of the Star Sapphires. Love doesn't listen to reason.
>>
>>36475932
>And that's the weakness of the Star Sapphires. Love doesn't listen to reason.

What happened today probably sobered them all up fast.
>>
Red and Clarissa is the goat /u/ pairing
scissor me timbers while they both think of Lumi

Silver medal ship best ship
>>
>>36475953
>love means never having to say you're sorry, or listen to reason, or learn from mistakes..

He didn't mean to hit me officer he love! He didn't mean to run over my face with the pick up truck! I was asleep in the drive way! I was out of control! He had to! I gave him no choice!
>>
So...

We got
green
orange
yellow
pink

Seen blue
will kill and steal later, right?
>>
>>36476454
It probably won't come to that
>>
>>36476454
Together, we are captain earth!
>>
>>36475244
>Chin'po
I saw what you did there and I chuckled.
