Hear ye, hear ye. As you are all aware, we are making tentative alliances with the various guilds, druidic orders, clerical orders and paladin orders as part of an ongoing effort to prepare for the semi-imminent return of Jake'ness the Pyromancer, as well as the disgraced witch-maid Jheska the Traitoress. Report the status of your preparation contributions here, and try to be welcoming of any liasons to outside organizations that show up.
>>
Well, I've been working at getting the various apprentices, acolytes, initiates, and squires working together. We've been doing teamwork exercises. There's not even been a single death so far, though there were a few excessive polymorphs, and I've noticed a few of the Transfiguration apprentices have been sneaking off with Wildshaper druidic acolytes for reasons that CAN'T be savory...
>>
THE FUCKING DRUIDS. WE ARE WORKING WITH THE FUCKING DRUIDS. JHESKA'S ON THE GODDAMN RUN AGAIN AFTER YOU FUCKERS CRASHED THE DRUID CIRCLE'S MEETING, I'VE BEEN LOCKED IN STABBY'S BASMENT GETTING MY ASS KICKED FOR HOURS ON END HOPING TO BECOME LESS OF A PHYSICAL PUSHOVER, TUYPO WENT FUCKING NATIVE, AND I'M EXPECTED TO BE NICE TO ANY DRUIDS THAT PRANCE THEIR SHIT COVERED ASSES IN HERE?
>>
>>36582298

Now now, Conspierre, it's not that bad. Besides, the Druids were not at fault for Jheska's escape, we've confirmed that with scrying again and again. And, being honest, you ARE a little physically... lacking. If you'd just gone to the gym with me like I keep asking you to, maybe you wouldn't have to go through this training now, hmm?
>>
>>36582330
MY IDENTITY WITHIN THEIR CIRCLE WILL BE COMPROMISED
>>
>>36582298
Apparently one of the Druids, in trying to defeat Jheska, accidentally became the living avatar of a Primordial. At least they seem to be on our side.
>>
>>36582230
I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my largest collection of animated humanoid skeletons to date, and at my age, that's saying something. And don't worry about how I got the bodies... seriously don't, the less you know the better. Just know that none of the local paladin's or royal guards should be causing trouble about it and let me worry about who might.

Also I found the remains of a dragon in the grove the Druid's inhabited before the prank war ended, that I'll be putting to use. I'll head back there to continue working on it soon.

>>36582298
I have no idea who's idea it is and I'm going to be surprised if we succeed in getting their co-operation. I mean, have you seen the things I've done to their old grove?
>>
>>36582353

Oh for the love of--Conspierre, we *told* you to withdraw from your spying for the duration of the combined mission... Don't tell me you disregarded the suggestions? You did, didn't you.

>>36582354

And it was quite interesting to watch! I've learned quite a bit from this, you know. We really should get into talks afterwards about a combined Willworkers, Miracle Men, and Adventuring Archetypes guild...
>>
>>36582366
Alright, deep breaths Pierre, you've stomached worse alliances......ok. We can definitely make it work on a temporary basis. I don't think they'll be much use if Jake'ness shows up, but the drow should be doable.

>>36582354
I hate that they can do that.

>>36582330
And furthermore, I don't recall anyone else save for Cromina having the stones to charge Ashburn so you can shove it.
>>
>>36582390
I did withdraw, months ago. You want me to murder everyone that might recognize me? I'm sure that would go over so well.
>>
As a member both of the Druid's Circle and the Mage's guild, I am glad to see both of them cooperating at last.
>>36582354
Parasolus is being watched, but we don't interfere in the acts of the primordials.
>>36582390
Combining the guilds outright is a poor idea, there's too much disparity in interests. The fighter's guild tried it once with the Barbarian's guild, didn't work out.
>>
>>36582402

I was third, quite possibly forth on the charge, now, let's be fair here. I was just not going to go first--I have ample bravery, my friend, but I am a wizard first and foremost, not a warrior nor any other sort of mainline combatant. The midlines, where I might move more freely and apply my skills justly, that's where I belong.
>>
>>36582413
....How many of them know of me?
>>
Martial guild was here

You guys are fags and everything is all your fault
>>
>>36582418
None of us belong on the front lines, myself least of all, yet I was the one who had to charge face first into an ass kicking. No permanent harm, no permanent foul I suppose, at least I'm getting stabbing lessons.
>>
>>36582425
I haven't told a soul. But suffice to say, the ears of a druid pick up on messages not meant to be heard.
>>36582430
>You guys are fags
As a homosexual, I resent that.
>and everything is all your fault
Can't really say that's false.
>>
>>36582442

And such things are valuable lessons, honestly.

>>36582430

Oh come now, not EVERYTHING is a wizard's fault! Just... some things. Please ignore the zombie apocalypse.

>>36582413

Maybe a superguild, then? There are quite a lot of members who would enjoy some crosstraining, is all I'm saying... and an alliance of all guilds as equals would CERTAINLY improve both our profit margins and reaction time to world criseses!
>>
>>36582448
Well, at least a common enemy is going to keep my skin intact for a while. And they can't do much to my restaurant seeing as its in an antimagic zone with a private security force. If I wereof the clerical persuasion I'd be thankful for small miracles.
>>
Hey Mage Guild, I've returned with news from the Northern Barrens. That fire-caller, or pyromancer as you call them here, that we talked about last time I was here, Jake'ness. Well we seem to have lost track of him, last we saw him he just left in the middle of burning down a village, no idea where he went off to.

And while we are happy that he isn't burning down everything we own you people seemed worried about him so I thought you would like to know.
>>
>>36582464
I've had it coming for a while, I'll admit. As for a superguild, we'd steal the spotlight. Best not to have our hired muscle resentful.
>>
>>36582477
Why would anyone go after your restaurant? It's excellent.
>>36582464
If you could get every guild to work together under one banner, you would succeed where the king, the gods, and the Empyreans have failed. It's not an easy thing to do.

>>36582486
Reconnaissance is essential. thank you Wulf.
>>
>>36582413
I'm curious, what convinced the Druid's Circle to agree to this co-operation? I figured there would still be a lot of bad blood from the survivors of the grove, or have they somehow been convinced the guild had nothing to do with what happened?
>>
>>36582512
It is excellent and I love it unconditionally. Precisely why they might try to ruin it. There's a number of good reason why the king, the gods, and the empyreans have failed to unite the various guilds, and that number is precisely equal to the total number of members in each of the guilds.
>>
>>36582551
The leggy brown bitch herself showed up. On that note, is anyone else getting messages from her? I can't even tell if she's flirting or threatening, it all sounds the same from her.
>>
>>36582551

I've been working overtime on diplomatic concessions with them, thankfully. Damage control is part of my job, after all!
>>
>>36582551
They still have their trepidations with the guild, but they know that Jheska is a threat to everyone, not just the Mages.
>>36582565
Nothing from Jheska, but the Primordials have begun shouting at me in my dreams. I suspect Parasolus has something to do with that.
>>
>>36582577
Oh. I think she's trying psychological warfare on me. Or trying to goad me into doing or not doing something. Also I stole her diary.
>>
>>36582565
I haven't heard anything, but then again, I doubt any of the druids will talk to me for a while.

>>36582571
I see, well... while I won't apologize for what I did, I do apologize for giving you this extra work.

>>36582577
So world threatening danger still brings the worst of rivals together then? Well I guess that's fair.
>>
>>36582630
I just hope that we don't have to make another holiday special with everyone to teach children to be responsible with magic like the last time all the guilds broke something important.
>>
*A very big diseased looking rat is watching the meeting*
>>
>>36582683
That makes two of us, nothing makes me wish more for the good old days then when I got ten children tugging at my robes asking me to preform tricks. UUugh, the memories still make me shudder.

Well I've spent enough time here, I got a dragon corpse to prepare for raising. I have left part of my undead army in the basement in case something happens before I'm back. So if I'm not here when everything starts getting messy, make use of it.
>>
>>36582707
Vile.
<Cleansing Wave>

>>36582752
Speaking of armies, how large a force should I raise? With proper time and incantations, I can have a veritable legion of elementals and tree-forms ready for combat.
>>
I don't have a lot to offer at the moment - though I did see this coming last night when I tried that whole "divination by fire" thing, so that's a start at least, right?

In any case, if you've a use for a budding geomancer, lemme know.
>>
>>36582707
.......REVEAL YOUR SECRETS
>>36582752
Have fun, I'm going to be doing a thing
>>
>>36582777
We need every available hand, young apprentice.
>>
>>36582786
>>36582776
*the rat assumes the form of a bloated old man in moldy robes, he smells of rot and decay*
Greetings Arcane Abominations...
>>
>>36582823
Well this never ends well. Golgolath, is that you?
>>
>>36582823
....reveal YOUR secrets, and then the rat's.
>>
>>36582867
At this rate, I think the only thing he'll be revealing is his privates to hapless young women.

Sorry I'm late to the meeting guys, what's going on?
>>
>>36582777
I might need some help with some things. I doubt you want to help clean my creepy room, so that leaves reconnaissance. Need to be able to travel underground through bedrock without revealing our presence, and be able to listen in, you up for it?
>>
>>36582887
Greetings, martial. You seem to be lost.
>>
>>36582905
This is the Fighters Guild meeting, right?
>>
>>36582905
No....I contacted them via messenger. Need all hands and what not.
>>
Hello, what have I missed?
>>
>>36582860
Indeed. I came to keep my eyes on the miserable mages, you should feel honored, I hate leaving the blighted swamp.
>>
We need to deal with druids you say? How can I be of assistance?
>>
>>36582921
I went to a swamp once. It was pretty cool.
>>
>>36582919
Grumbling over our alliances with the various guilds.
>>36582909
I've been corrected. Don't I know you? Think I had you clear out some tomb or other. Congratulations on surviving that.
>>
>>36582922
Our guild is working WITH the druids now, so try to behave.
>>36582921
And we are working with the mages, so the same goes to you.
>>36582909
Sadly, no, this is the Mage's guild.
>>
>>36582935
Yeah about that...
>>
>>36582935
Has anyone voiced any complaints about the Cult of Changing Tides?
>>
>>36582940
>WITH the druids
Wait. What?
Damn it.. Anyone need a half grown phytohydra?
>>
>>36582921
Oh, I hate seeing you here just as much as you hate being here, make no mistake, but we've both got bigger problems. Any sightings of Jheska or Fryja?
>>
>>36582940
It's OK. I forgot to remember what I was looking for.
>>
>>36582945
You didn't survive? Well, congrats on getting better.
>>
>>36582892
>recon
To spy on the drow, right? I...might be able to do something like that, but it'd be risky for me to attempt the sneakiest way, and the less sneaky way will probably tip them off.

I'll look into it though, and I'd need Noel's sign off anyway since she's my sponsor.
>>
>>36582987
Thanks, Conspierre.
>>
Also, has the guild been actually threatened since Jheska's last uproar?
>>
>>36582993
I'd be accompanying you, I've got a few things that can shore up the downfalls of the less sneaky way. Whatever that may be.
>>
>>36582993
OH! OH! OH! I can spy on the Drow!

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!
>>
>>36582940
Just because the Archdruid decided we should aid those aberrations doesn't mean I like them. And you know me, if I really wanted them dead they would be covered in boils now, vomiting their own innards out...
>>36582967
...I hate to say this, but you are right. We have bigger problems.
>>
>>36583031
I like your enthusiasm. You're hired. You and >>36582993 Samantha here can work together.

Be warned though: you'll have to remain close to one another, acting in concert lest you are discovered. Also, the burrows underground are tight and chilly, you may need to share body warmth.

I'm sure you'll do fine.
>>
>>36583062
Are you trying your hand at couples matching again?
Damn it man! We know you're no good at it!
Look what happened to the werewolves!
>>
>>36583062
YAY!

>>36582993
SAM AND STEVE ON AN ADVENTURE!

DROW BEWARE YOU'RE IN FOR A SCARE!
>>
>>36583081
Why, me? Never! I have abstained from romantic interference among women and men. I now act solely at arranging relationships between attractive males.
>>
Okay, has anyone actually taken notice of the change that I performed on the guild?
>>
>>36583100
Carry on then. Lurco is looking fetching tonight, you should fix him up.
>>
>>36583031
Sorry Steve, your guildmaster said you can't go on missions with me anymore, the resurrection costs were piling up and its happened so many times that your mind has started to degrade.
>>36583051
That being said, you make me vomit my innards out again and you know what I'll do again. Nastiness aside, I've distributed pamphlets with our known relevent intel on Jheska amongst your cohorts, and there's a stack on the desk over there. Appearances, mannerisms, known habits, abilities, and anything else I could think of.
>>36583062
You're gonna have to fudge some paperwork, I'm not allowed to work with him. Maybe if we set this up as Sam's mission?
>>36583095
Don't get too excited buddy, but I'm working on it.
>>
>>36583132
I already have a special someone.
>>
>>36583132
Glad you mentioned, Marus. I need you and Lurco to work together on a mission of great importance in the Elemental Plane of Homoeroticism. Trust me, you will be rewarded well.
>>
>>36583103
Are we all lizard people? Is everyone just me in disguise again? Because that last one happened once, I swear.
>>
>>36583139
Can I ask a question?
>>
>>36583139
I can have it classified as Sam's purview. I'm sure Noel won't mind, she often fawns over that girl.
>>
>>36583147
I think I'm good for quite some time. If you want to open me a viewing window though..
>>
>>36583147
I told you already, kingdom ordinance says you have to just call it what it is. It's a gay bar. I never would have helped with the paperwork if I knew you'd try and pass it off as a separate plane of existence.
>>
>>36583152
The entire guild building can become a living creature in the event of an attack with mouths appearing all over it of various immortal creatures.
>>
>>36583159
Sure Steve, fire away
>>
>>36583169
Don't worry, I already have a viewing window for it.
>>36583173
Well if I call it that I'll never lure young boys to their future as gay wizards lovers!
>>
>>36583194
That was exactly their thoughts on the matter.
>>
>>36583187
Reaaaally? Want to exchange notes?
I'd love to see the creatures.
>>
>>36583062
I think someone someone more expierienced should go with them. I propose myself as that person.
>>36583139
Hmpf...I shall keep my eyes open, and I have an awefull lot of eyes...
>>
>>36582230
WHAT!? I thought we all agreed to never let that Bastard Jake'ness back in the guild! That no-good dirty, rotten, cheating, man whore will just burn everything down again!
>>
*A large puff of smoke and the sound of shooting fireworks crackling and a swarthy man in eccentric dress robes appears.*

Gentlemen. A pleasure to see you once again. How long since our last meeting? I believe since the cantriporium exploded. I would also like to invite you all to the production of Les Magisterables I am currently directing with the fifth year apprentices. I hope you will be in attendance for all seven hours.
>>
>>36583188
What's a Drow?
>>
>>36583215
I think he meant return as in he is going to attack us at some point. Also, how willing are you to make me a physical juggernaut?
>>
>>36583203
Well, they all exist on different planes of existences. Capturing one is like capturing an Archdevil.
>>
>>36583233
Brown elves that are very mean Steve, don't take anything they offer, and remember that none of their girls are nice. No matter what they say.
>>
>>36583230
*Claps excitedly*
>>
>>36583207
No no, Golgolath. It's already cramped and uncomfortable enough in those tunnels. Besides, we need as many druids here as possible for a Convocation at the circle this Sunday.
>>36583233
Dark-skinned elves who live underground, into BDSM and killing anything that isn't them. They worship a spider.
>>
>>36583238
If you are going to try to squash that bastard under a gigantic fist, very willing.

>>36583233
The dark-skinned knife-ears
>>
>>36583199
Spy on the drow? Absolutely not, you have any idea what they do to spies? I forbid it.
>>
>>36583255
Okay, Brown Elves, Don't take what they offer and their girls are mean.

>>36583261

What's BDSM?
>>
>>36583245
I'm sure I can arrange something to hold them for observation.
Do you happen to have their names?
>>
>>36583215
From what I understand it's not the "welcome back from the cold" return, it's more of the zalgo-esque "HE COMES" return.
There's supposed to be a lot more static and crap but I really don't want to learn how to do that.

>>36583139
>>36583165
My hopes of anything productive coming from this are exceedingly low.
>>36583233
...and just got lower.
>>
>>36583274
Drow aren't big on geomancers, and I'd be going with her. Not to mention I'd be in a position where I wouldn't be able to leave her behind and save my own skin. She has that option however.
>>
>>36583230
Lovely, I intend to attend. I've always been a fan of the theater.
>>36583274
I can assure you, Noel, that no harm will come to them.
>>36583276
>What's BDSM?
Ahem, well, I'll be in my office. Noel, discuss this matter with the lad, will you?
>>
>>36583256

Thankyou. You are too kind. Do you wish for my autograph?

*flourishes with a hand and a large quill appears*
>>
>>36583276
It would take too long to explain, so I can show you what it is after the meeting. that sound good to you, big boy?
>>
>>36583278
Right off hand, too many to remember some are crematorukus, plomitimian, and other things. Oh, hey have to go take care of things at the Cult, more information can be found in the library.
>>
>>36583261
Fine...But you know spiders are vermin. I could send some as spies.
>>
>>36583305
*Takes out photograph of Gaspard and holds it out to be signed*
>>
>>36583284
What? Steve dies all the time. My idea is to just tunnel in under them, sealing it behind us as we go, with a bottomless jar of air so we don't suffocate, I'll cover any noise we make and do some nifty illusion tricks to allow the stone to conduct the noise they make to us, without letting them hear ours. Do you have any better ideas? I'm all ears, you know your magic better than I.
>>
>>36583307
Lupa, behave! The lad has a mission to go on this week, we can't have any more sultry mishaps, can we?
>>36583284
Don't worry, Conspierre and I shall be personally overseeing the mission! All will go splendidly!
>>36583322
Very well, as long as they take a different path than the others. having all our eggs in one Bag of Holding and all.
>>
>>36583307
*nods happily*
>>
I'm also part of a clerical order, if that helps
>>
>>36583315
That's alright! You would be surprised how much progress can be made with just a tidbit of information, stores of magical energy, and "apprentices", we'll figure this out yet!
>>
>>36583271
Not really that kind of juggernaut, more what you've done to yourself. Keeping my regular appearance with improved strength, stamina, and durability. If I have to get my ass kicked again, I'd at least like to give as good as I get.
>>
>>36583292
>>36583302
I've already lost enough in one lifetime, I don't want to add my first apprentice to the list.
>>
>>36583339
Bring protection, lad. By which I mean several wards against transformative spells. and a good pendant of binding-protection.
>>
>>36583338
*smiles showing his rotten stumps of teeth* Very well...

>>36583292

Apologies, but Noel says no, so the answer is no.

>>36583322
hmm...now that you mention it, I might be able to fashion some tiny spider golems or something similar and use THEM to spy on the drow. Would that work?
>>
>>36583338
Oh don't be like that. Let the boy have a little fun before he goes off to die again.

>>36583339
See? Look how eager he is to learn. *pats Steve on the head* such an eager little boy, aren't you?

>>36583357
Hm... well, I suppose I can do that... ah what the hell, I'll even give you a generous discount on it.

>>36583364
Oh come on, I don't transform everyone I have fun with.
>>
>>36583369
Damn, my matchmaking is foiled again- er, there is still much work to be done nonetheless. I'm sure we can find a role for you.
>>
>>36583361
Even considering that she's willing to go, and I'll sign a blood oath to do all I can to guarantee her safety? I'm not worried about sticking my neck out, I've got failsafes for that.
>>
Antruthius, I was hoping we could discuss this druid business. It is inconsolable that we have arranged an alliance with such uncultured swine. Please tell me that we do not plan to go through with this?

Also... I was hoping to discuss the funding request I put in for the five dragons and seventeen pheonix I require for my next production. You have not returned my scrys.
>>
>>36583386
I've got some mutagenic compounds in my collection of unlabeled potions back from my experimental brewing days.
>>36583369
Start the tests on the spiders then, I need to be able to be there in person though.
>>
>>36583369
CONSTRUCTS?! Nothing good can come of a twisted fusion of tainted arcane sorcery and the vile technology!
>>
>>36583399
A blood oath? You'd go that far for my apprentice?
>>
>>36583428
Do you have any ideas that can keep me alive in solid bedrock and allow me to listen in on paranoid drow?
>>
>>36583430
And I, having suggested this mission to begin with, offer my word as liege of the Llanowar elves that no misfortune shall come to them.
>>
>>36583430
Turns out there's some reeeaaaally good failsafes in my creepy room. That it turns out Jheska has had access too while she was the maid. They haven't been tampered with, but I'm pretty sure she may have stolen some ideas.
>>
>>36583445
...>>36583369 Sam, you're going.
Don't disappoint me knife ears. Or you'll regret it.
>>
yo magic sux lol
>>
>>36583403
Look, I'll be the last person to say that I'm okay with teaming up with dirty, hippy druids... But with Jake'ness apparently coming back, we could use all the help we can get.

>>36583427
I guess I could take those in exchange. I've been hoping to try those more so that I can change low quality parts into something of higher quality... Okay, you have a deal.
>>
*etches "GASPARD!" in large flowery script onto parchment that burns into existence and hands it to steve*
>>
>>36583428
well yes, if you use tainted sorcery and vile technology to make a golem, instead of making them the correct way.
>>
>>36583386
*Steve smiles, mind devoid of even the slightest deviant implication *

>>36583399
Don't worry Noel, I have my trusty sword and shield. NOBODY IS GETTING HURT ON STEVE'S WATCH!

>>36583460
ADVENTURE TIME AHOY!

>>36583473
*Steve jumps for joy* I can't wait to show my mom!
>>
>>36583471
Oh...that reminds me. I'm going to show you my creepy room full of failsafes. Then you name your price in addition to the mutagens, and never speak of what you see in there. Bad enough that Jheska knows.
>>
>>36583460
Worry not, I am an expert in protective and regenerative spells.
>>36583491
Good luck, lad. And after Lupa's through with you, I'm sure that you'll understand Samantha a little better.
>>
Hello everyone, again! I am communicating through the guild using a mix of magic and psychic prowess. I do not know how long I can keep this up.
>>
>>36583428
They'd be constructs of stone and clay, not wires and steel if that makes you feel any better about it.

>>36583460
If you say so, ma'am.
>>36583430
>>36583329
burrowing in would be the not-sneaky method. The sneaky method would involve swim through stone and only carving out the space we need to listen in on them.

Problem is if the swim through stone runs out...we're kinda screwed. so anything you or Noel has that would allow for magical energy regeneration or resupply would be greatly appreciated.

S-sorry. dropped my nametag.

Can you tell I'm a little nervous?
>>
>>36583518
Here you are dear, you dropped your name tag.
>>36583517
Very nice, Lurco. Have you anything to report?
>>
>>36583502
Seems fair enough. Though I'm not sure what else I would want if I, so you'll have to give me a moment to think about it.
>>
>>36583538
Well, Noel has finally convinced you against wearing pants it seems. In any case, there is no need to worry. Steve is a fine soldier, Conspierre a fine spy, and I a fine heirophant. Together we shall undoubtedly succeed!
>>
>>36583518
Swimming is even better. I've got gallon jugs filled with mana potions, will that suffice? I don't expect to undertake this mission immediately, so if you need time to train, feel free.
>>
>>36583539
Report what?
>>
>>36583538
I have some manawyrms and some crystal beetles. They can store a deceptive amount of magical energy, even when deceased.
If you carry them with you I reckon you could replenish your reservoirs several times over with a pouch full.
They taste absolutely HORRIBLE though, and I've been trying to pickle or jelly them to allay this.
>>
>>36583443
>>36583518
How about Meld into Stone? And I am still against constructs, they can never imitate the true beauty of nature...
>>
>>36583543
Take all the time you need, I know I'd have trouble naming a price when you'll need that much material.
>>
*recieves a scry on his hand mirror*

Mhmm.

Hmm.

No. I will handle it.

Gentlemen. I must attend to a wardrobe malfunction. It appears that the biomancy department leaked through the walls again and now they are sentient and attacking my
Third years. Fix your wards Marus, I don't want a repeat of the Drake Lake debacle. Theyre still nesting in the rafters!
>>
>>36583556
Took awhile but I finally broke her habit of it.
>>
>>36583569
Undoubtedly, I oppose their use as well. But the mages will do as they do.
>>36583594
Oh dear, not again.
>>
>>36583569
It gives me the willies. And my best work is with conspirators.
>>
>>36583569
Well if I'm actually there I don't need tiny spies to listen to what I can already hear, right?
Meld into stone isn't going to get me deep enough, I'd considered it though.

>>36583557
It...should. Again, I'll need to practice the spell a bit more, j-just so I'm used to it and everything.

>>36583595
well setting my entire wardrobe on fire didn't help matters any...
and once I do this, you're going to owe me a shopping trip to replace most of that.

>oilyseel COTTON
even the codegate agrees with me.
>>
>>36583518
>>36583538
I'm afraid I have none, no tricks outside a few mana regen potions. Taste like crap by the way. makes medicine look like turkish delight by comparison, but I digress.
I only said no because I don't want to lose you, I've already lost damn near everyone I gave a damn about except Elizabeth, the old crone of flame magic, and she refuses to leave that old dead city she called home now. I know you can do this Sam.
>>
>>36583594
Oh... I have quite a bit of things that "could" do that, not to mention attacking third years.
What do they look like exactly? Please don't say wasps.
>>
>>36583635
NOT TO MENTION STEVE THE MIGHTY WILL BE PROTECTING HER!

*waves sword around recklessly*
>>
>>36583574
Oh, I know. I'm sure a man of your expertise knows a few 'questionable' people. You wouldn't happen to know anyone that could help me 'acquire' some rare magical creatures, would you?
>>
Wait, what are you all doing?
>>
>>36583658
Keep that lump of metal away from my incubation flasks. Trust me, you do not want skin contact with the contents.
>>
>>36583659
OH! OH! OH!

*Steve waves hand in the air frantically*
>>
>>36583658
Adorable little lad. Here, you may want this.

*Hands Steve a Llanowar balm*

Don't go drinking it all in one go, however. Save it for the really bad situations.

>>36583674
We're preparing an expedition to the north, to spy on the drow.
>>
>>36583635
I'm going to be smart about this and set things up so that even if something does happen, she'll just poof back here safe and sound.
>>36583632
The drow themselves should be a non issue, they picked a wide open area sitting on bedrock to try and keep me discouraged from eavesdropping, since apparently conspiromancy does very silly things on rock. But, they always forget that I rarely work alone. So I'll have an illusory double get caught up there to ease suspicions from below.
>>
>>36583682
Yes Steve? Do you have something to say? Also, good boy for raising your hand. *pats him on the head again*.
>>
>>36583659
Not off ha->>36583682
Apparently I do. What have you got Steve?
>>
>>36583688
Why are we spying on the drow?
>>
>>36583632
THAT was an accident, I just wanted to flash disintegrate the pants, forgot the cloak Fryia upped all my stats, and it just grew out of control.
>>
>>36583603
Mages never can understand nature, they only want to dominate it, break it, destroy it.
>>36583632
That is IF you get close enough, wich I doubt. Drow are a paranoid bunch.
>>
>>36583569
>>36583603
If it would make you more comfortable, I could make the constructs with holy magic, as they're intended to be. much less shoddy than binding an earth elemental
>>
HEY.
NOBODY TOLD ME WE WERE HAVING A MEETING.
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
>>
>>36583696
This elf I know named Alomar has lots of magical creatures! He keeps them in a special plane that can only be reached by putting magical paper on your tongue!
>>
>>36583704
You seem out of the loop. Jheska has been working with the drow, trying to overthrow it.
>>36583711
The clear threat now is Jheska. We will have plenty of time to punish the lesser enemies of the wilds once she is dealt with.
>>
>>36583721
because you're way too loud.
>>
>>36583721
Well Jake'ness is apparently returning from the Northern Barrens, so you know, that's bad. Also we're trying to set up a mission to go spy on the dark elves.

>>36583730
He wouldn't happen to call this magical paper 'LSD', would he?
>>
>>36583645

Wardrobes, with hundreds of legs and sharp teeth I imagine as my assistant appears to have been consumed at thr rnd of his scry. This is immaterial. You have yet to not somehow sabotage a production with your antics. The gigantic ant that atr my leading lady in The Magician King and let us not forget the sprites that ate the pyrotechnics so kindly provided by the school of pyromancy for J'suis Chist - Supreme Magi.

Enough is enough. Now please excuse me.

*shatters into hlass and leaves the meeting*
>>
>>36583711
I know, their only defense from below is bedrock. Which is normally a fantastic defense if I'm alone, and everyone knows my reputation with apprentices. So they won't be expecting our guild's only geomancer, an apprentice, to be running the show.
>>
>>36583733
Wait, this is all about Jheska? Dear Kulhutu! Why is everyone getting so worked up about her? She's not hard to beat!
>>
>>36583760
I think Gaspard has been partaking of the devil's balm again.
>>
>>36583693
Geomancy, remember? I have to have good hearing, comes with the territory. If I can get within 3 meters I ought to be able to hear everything except for some whispers.

>>36583709
I know. You're still taking me shopping for new clothes after this. If not for a little anticipation on my part I'd have the robes to wear and nothing else.

Get the image out of you head, Pierre. Please.

>>36583711
Do drow normally get See through Stone? serious question here.
>>
Gents.... about that relic hunt you sent me on... it would appear that Malikus has been bound to this dagger....

He's none to please with that. Where's the master dispeller?
>>
>>36583759
Scratch that, I don't think you want the magic paper. I can conjure corporeal phantasms, don't think those have been seen in a while. It will take a few days, but I can manage a dozen in that time.
>>
>>36583760
Alright alright, I'll improve my wards, didn't realize they were getting faulty after all these years, don't make grounding stones like they used to.
Your apprentice should pop back into reality within a few hours and his clothes will be perfectly washed, pressed, and hung in the closet.
I will however not vouch for his mental state.
>>
>>36583759
YEAH! That's the one, there were unicorns and lightning bears and stuff. I can go talk to him about getting some magic tongue paper if you need me to!
>>
>>36583792
They don't get See through Stone, and they will mostly be whispering. If they use the hand cant, I can get that too.
>>
>>36583779
when did Samantha become our only geomancer? what happened to the others?
>>
>>36583807
very well then, that sounds reasonable to me.

>>36583818
Maybe some other time, Steve, but thank you for trying to be helpful.
>>
>>36583713
I think the drow are able to distinguish a real spider and a construct.
>>36583733
mumble mumble mages mumble mumble would rather work with a witch mumble mumble
>>36583779
Very well you should give it a try, maybe you won't die horribly, or rather be tortured...
>>
>>36583759
NO. I TOLD YOU. I DON'T NEED TO BUY ANY SHELVES. I HAVE ENOUGH IN MY ROOM. PLUS THE GNOMES AT IKEA GIVE ME THE CREEPS.

>>36583752
I HAVE A LOT TO BE PROUD ABOUT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
>>
>>36583838
fair enough
>>
>>36583792
Oh absolute Sam, once this is all over we'll go on a shopping spree.
Just avoid any wind mages till then.
>>
>>36583834
oookay

*Steve looks slightly disappointed*
>>
>>36583833
I used to study geomancy in my youth.
The reasons are twofold.
1: It is incredibly boring at the higher echelons
2: You are very likely to become one with the elements or die trying, mostly die trying.
>>
>>36583833
No idea, must be a union thing. She's the only one on hand in any case.
>>36583838
I'm a slippery bastard, and harder to kill than you'd expect.
>>
>>36583844
Oh for the love of...
*gets out a piece of paper and writes something on it before holding it up to Bob*
"Go to a cleric and get your ears healed, you are not hearing us properly."
>>
How about this, me and my cult can go and kill Lolth. That way the drow's most important weapons, their priestesses, are powerless.
>>
>>36583885
If you do, get me the carcass and the eggs, I'll pay you handsomely.
>>
>>36583860
I agree on the bastard part and for the slippery part...I am sure I have some slimy doom with me.
>>
>>36583885
The problem with that is that no matter how many times Lolth is killed, she always seems to come back. I mean, how many times has she been killed?

>>36583903
Also, I want some of those eggs if that happens. You can keep the carcass, I don't have much use for it.
>>
>>36583874

SORRY LUPA. LEFT MY GLASSES ON THE TABLE UPSTAIRS.
WHICH THEN ACCIDENTALLY BLEW UP FOR SOME REASON TOTALLY UNRELATED TO MY WORK.

WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO LEER AT COPS?
>>
>>36583903
Sorry, the body goes to my fellow head cultist. But we can get you some of the eggs.
>>36583920
Well the thing is we'l have two gods fighting with us, one giving us power through worship, the other is an actual member of our cult and will be with us physically.
>>
>>36583920
I can get one from the other, s'no problem.
>>
>>36583910
Feel free to try again, it worked so well last time someone tried it.
>>
My mom says I have to go home because dinner is ready.

*Steve solemnly waves goodbye*
>>
>>36583823
Alright, I guess it'll have to be a bit closer then.

>>36583852
I had a friend who was an aeromancer - we haven't seen each other in a while so I don't know what she's up to. But I'll keep that in mind.

>>36583858
And this is why minor foci of study are so useful. Sure geomancy's only got a couple tricks, but when you have a few spells from other schools to play with, you can get really inventive.

Speaking of, Noel...any other fire magics you want to teach me before we do this?
>>
>>36583950
Goodbye Steve, say hi to your mother.
Also, have this commemorative egg. If you keep it warm you'll have a loyal companion by next week!
>>
>>36583950
Bye Steve, tell her I said hi.
>>
>>36583949
Who says you aren't already infected?
>>
>>36583958
We only need to be within fifty feet or so. I used to be a master illusionist before I transferred departments, and illusion has a fantastic bag of sensory tricks.
>>
So who is Steve? He looks familiar.
>>
>>36583974
The extremely toxic, flammable, and painful cure. And also the fire. That was a bad week.
>>
>>36583948
Sounds good to me. Also, can you please try and fix Bob's hearing? His shouting is getting a little annoying.

>>36583940
Gods damn it, why do we have to put up with this...

>>36583950
Bye Steve, be sure to come back soon and I can show that BDSM stuff we talked about.
>>
>>36583983
I wouldn't worry about it.
>>
>>36583958
Trust me, Aeromancers will be your worst nightmare if you're not careful.
>>
>>36583997
>Bob's hearing
I can try, but I don't know if he trusts me, tell you what, if you can bring him to the lab blindfolded we'll have this sorted in five minutes flat.
>>
>>36583996
My week was bad too. Settlers apearing in my swamp, paladin trying to smite me, being forced to work with thrice-cursed mages...
>>
>>36584017
I'm not worried, just curious. He's not the kid that brought in the monster parts for the guild in which I paid for out of my own pocket, right?
>>
>>36584030
I assume you mean more than just the skirt-flipping antics. I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
...now that I actually think about it, they can kinda choke any flame that gets conjured. At which point I throw rocks at them I guess?

>>36583977
I always thought illusions would mask and weaken the senses, not augment them. But if you've a spell that'll make listening in on them easier, that'll be incredibly useful.
>>
Well, my mind is strained, I may be back later. Bye.
>>
>>36584049
Well, there's some complimentary liquor by the buffet.
>>
>>36584047

MARUS, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT.
I DON'T LIKE THAT LOOK MARUS.
>>
>>36584072
Illusions do whatever to the senses you want them to, and can affect any senses you wish. Listening won't be a problem, just need to get close enough so that filtering out background noise or movement won't be too difficult.
>>
>>36584083
The only form of alcohol I drink is fremented juice.
>>
>>36584123
There's wine there too, what kind of bar do you think we run?
>>
>>36584072
Either that, or throw magma, either works really. Aeromages and Hydromages don't get along with our school of magic.
Actually, most female mages don't get along with them for that matter. skirt flipping and wet robe contests with them all the time.
>>
>>36584146
...I might give the wine a try *walks over to the bar and grabs some wine*
>>
Brothers!... and sisters judging by the lack of stink for once have once again looked into the future and seen many great things! New spells! New powers! The fall of the clerics and paladins! And- Argh! My bloody foot!
>>
>>36584179
I will never be dethroned as the guild wet robe champion. Never.
>>
>>36584235
Only because you keep mixing fabric dissolving chemicals into your water.
>>
>>36584230

ALAZMOS? IS THAT YOU? DID YOU LOOK INTO THE FUTURE AND DISCOVER SOMETHING?
>>
>>36584247
THERE IS NO RULE AGAINST IT, I WAS YOUNG, AND I NEEDED THE MONEY
>>
>>36584274
I did! Secrets to great and powerful magic! Conjurings more powerful than ever before!
>>
*The large doors of the Mage's Guild is thrown open as the large white being with a devil's visage and a god's aura enters, back again.*
I'm back.
>>
>>36584335
More corruptive, vile magics designed to destroy the natural order of things? Great.
>>
>>36584362
Welcome back. Did you do something with your hair?
>>
>>36584380
The natural order of things is largely overhyped, I've come to realize.
The unnatural order of things is more interesting, more fruitful, and more useful.
>>
>>36584335

GOOD. THE LAUNDROMAT I PREVIOUSLY WAS GOING TO WAS JUST NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO GET OUT ALL THE SOOT.

WHERE IS IT?
>>
>>36584415
Silence! You have luck that I follow the Archdruids order to not harm any of you corrupt casters!
>>
I'm still saying, we should destroy the Dungeon Guild.

How am I supposed to do my job properly, if from all the money I gain, 3/4 of it have to go to some company that will break your legs with their levels Fuck You berserkers if you miss the date by one day?

At least they do the same to adventurers with the taxes, but still.
>>
>>36584414
Nope, it's the same as ever. However, I would like to request something from the guild. Can the Mage's Guild not interfere with any Sahuagin activity? The Cult sorta has this alliance with the major Sahuagin communities right now.
>>
>>36584416
>>36584380
I can summon the very Gods now! Just bring me chalk and 7cc's of human blood!
>>
>>36584630
You still need chalk and blood to summon a god? If you want I can do it myself, who's the god you want summoned?
>>
>>36584630

>Returns with ceiling caulk and a small vial of mud and hands it to Alazmos.
>>
>>36584670
The Gods above them! Gods with a capital G! The deities who created the lesser g Gods!
>>
>>36584689
This oughta be good.
>>
>>36584689
>>
>>36584380
There's nothing unnatural about my flames.
Except the hell and chaos fire spells, those are unnatural as hell.
>>
sorry am late

so what did I miss?
>>
>>36584689
Now!... Spirit sight does not allow me to draw shapes! This presents an issue!
>>
>>36584713
Tuypo, what the hell are you doing? Have you seriously gone native?
>>36584712
They're a little unnatural. Look at who your teacher was.
>>
>>36584736
Which one? I had two.
>>
>>36584703
Okay, so the current top pantheon huh. How many of them exist currently? The Cult doesn't really deal with them.
>>
>>36584745
Pick one.
>>
>>36584713
Mages being mages. By wich I mean horrible tainters of all things natural.
>>
>>36584733
WHAT? SHAPES?
WHAT SHAPE DO YOU NEED TO BE DRAWN?
>>
>>36584766
Elizabeth was a great teacher and a decent human being, I feel insulted that would even suggest that.
>>
>>36584736

I don't know who that is

I just Wizards and Druids were working together

and if that means novice wizard will stop trying to burn down my park am all for it

they make such horrible stains on my robes
>>
>>36584754
Many! More than the stars!

>>36584771
Stars and circles and lines and runes! Three overlapping! Encircled by one big circle!
>>
>>36584770

yeah their like children some times

you just have to clean up after them and hope for the best
>>
>>36584790
Wait...are you okay working with these...things? I swear if there wasn't a bigger problem I would be all for purging those arcane stains.
>>
>>36584800

>Uses the ceiling caulk to draws out cars, circles, dimes, and moons. With a tree overlapping.

ALRIGHT. DONE.
>>
>>36584800
You know that the current "creators of everything" didn't exist about 3,000 years ago right.
>>
>>36584862

why not?

spellcasters have their place in nature just like everything else
>>
>>36584892
Now add the blood!

>>36584897
Silence! We are magicking Gods!
>>
>>36584944
Oh this won't end poorly.
>>
>>36584944

>Shrugs and plops the mud down in the middle of it.
>>
>>36584900
They taint and corrupt, they destroy everything natural in their mad search for even more profane knowledge and power. They disrupt the natural order of things, they kick all that is sacred with boots. How much wanton destruction does it need for you to realize that mages only care about ravaging and exploiting nature?
>>
>>36584974
Now it should-
>Explodes in literal hellfire and a demon portal opens
IT BURNS MY RUINED EYES!
>>
>>36584944
Well, maybe you taste the blood first to see what kind of blood it is.
>>
We do NOT believe that summoning THINGS that you do not FULLY know the nature of is in your BEST interest.
That being said, WE do love to see summonings go HORRIBLY wrong so by all means, CONTINUE.
>>
>>36584784
Not saying her flames were somehow evil, just saying that they don't occur naturally. Holy fire is just as unnatural as hellfire, really any kind of magical fire is unnatural.
>>
>>36584998

HOW THE HELL DID THIS HELP WITH MY LAUNDRY!?!?!

>Drops and rolls
>>
>>36584969
Yeah. I almost want to watch the fire wor->>36584998

Umm...little help here with the portal thingy?

>>36584979

Blighter says what?

and they same could of almost any man

we shall teach them a better path

>>36584998
>>36585008
Well that didn't disappoint. Now we just need a mute to try and talk the deaf guy and the blind guy out of it.

BY THE EMPEROR
>>
>>36585055
*Draws a circle around the section of the room with the portal*
There, THAT should keep the rest OF us safe from WHATEVER steps through. People should REALLY do their research before OPENING portals and trying to BRING beings through.
>>
>>36585087
Relax, the blind guy was giving verbal instructions on how to commune with the gods to the deaf guy, who was drawing out the sigils. And then something magical happened.
>>
>>36585087

Hello!

yeah things are a bit of mess here

And this why God summoning should be left to the professionals. Dfyff gulohcp demayn! *demon portal closes leaving flames in it's wake.*
>>
>>36585058
I am a devoted servant of nature corrupted, ruined, and destroyed, I am the caretaker of lands ravaged by natural disaster. While I am devoted to reforming and reclaiming lands despoiled by the ravages of civilization, to further this goal I seek out the more rapacious violence inherent in nature and feed the creeping rot and decay that brings an end to all things. Mages never listen, they just don't care, they are abberations, believe me...

"please except this gift of fresh baked goods."
>>
>>36585169
May, I try one?

>>36585154
How old are you, I like knowing before I start calling people kid.
>>
>>36585208
Old enough as a druid to have literally rotted into his current state. He's like their Soros. So Lupa is older.
>>
>>36585055
Careful, portals are rather prone to erratic gusts of wind.
>>
>>36585208
"Of course, they're for everyone."
totally not poisoned or anything, so no need to check for that sort of thing.
>>
>>36585154

well am a Healer of the Sick, Caretaker of Nature and Believer that Civilization and Nature can Coexist

I don't think I wish you speak to you anymore

>All that is left as the smoke is a malformed creature.
>It stares at everyone for a second.
>Then proceeds to vomit.
>>
>>36585232
....REVEAL YOUR SECRETS LARRY
>>
>>36585125
Agreed. Summoning and CALLING upon beings from other realms is NOT to be dabbled in LIGHTLY. Research must be done to ENSURE nothing.....bad.... happens. Like permanently BINDING a being into your body, for example.
>>
>>36585250
"Sorry sir, but I can't stay to chat, I have more deliveries to make today!"

*Disappears in a puff of flour*
>>
HEY GUYS!
I DISTRIBUTED SCROLLS OF WISH TO EVERYONE IN TOWN!
HOW COOL IS THAT?
>>
>>36585223
And Soros is around 500 right?
>>36585232
Mm, delicious, ah, you poisoned these. I can tell from the taste, what kind of poison did you use you little rascal. I bet all the village boys fawn over you, you sweet little troublemaker.
>>
>>36585249
See? This is what you get with novices. It probably doesn't even have a proper true name to send it back. Ugh, this is gonna be some work.
>>
>>36585282
Oh no.
>>
>>36585208
I am old, but undoubtly a lot younger than you outsider.
>>36585223
Surprising to hear something smart from you.
>>36585234
Very well my brother, but someday you will understand me...
>>
>>36585311
What, are you talking about. I didn't make it. Unless, oh I accidentally said gulohcp instead of gulomakil. Woops, I haven't had to close a demon portal in a while.
>>
>>36585311

>Vomits up what is presumably a lung.
WHY DO I EXIST?
>>
>>36585335
I'm around 27, personally.
>>
>>36585335
Actually, I used to be human not too long ago. But I am 5,326 years old. I'm part of the Cult of Changing Tides. I am also known as the Devourer of Devils.
>>
>>36585282

thats not good

>>36585322

are there many non guild wizard in the town
>>
>>36585335
Don't worry, I've got plans for everyone in case they overstep themselves.
>>
>>36585335

I will not
>>
>>36585360
And you smell of fire, befitting the impulsiveness of a young mage.
>>36585382
And I was once known as Geldarien the Gardener, but thats a long time ago
>>
>>36585424
Oh I managed to get the smell of burnt denim off of me? Fantastic!
What does Sam smell like, just curious.
>>
>>36585357
Because some PEOPLE did not learn proper summoning RITUALS. Here, drink this. IT should put WHAT is supposed to be in your BODY back. Now to find where YOU came from.

>>36585353
Mixing sending and SUMMONING words is a common error, NOW give me a hand would you? CAN you find where in THE Abyss this portal opens to? MAYBE I can call in a favor to *ahem* return THIS BODY there.
>>
>>36585424
>>36585448
Ooh ooh, me next!
>>36585357
Because your parents made a mistake, same as most of us here.
>>
>>36585424

>Shakes, then explodes in a fountain of pus.
....
>Pops back into existence.

WHY???
>>
>>36585461

>Drinks the liquid.

OH ME! NOW EVERYTHING IS BACK INSIDE JUST FOR ME TO-

>Vomits it up again.
>>
>>36585422
I was exactly like you once *laughs some worms are send flying due to the vibrations*
>>36585448
>>36585465
I'm not here to amuse you like a cricus attraction.
>>
>>36585424
Oh, I remember hearing about you.

>>36585461
Uh, it would take a bit.
>>
>>36585521
I've got better wine than you'll find at the bar.
>>
>>36585521

You were nothing like me
>>
>>36585504
Actually, the Cult could probably restore you to your original form.
>>
>>36585521
Come on, please?
>>
>>36585526
So what did you hear? How Geldarien's foolishness and trust turned his garden into a twisted mockery of itself?
>>36585551
You know nothing urban brother...
>>
>>36585543
I drank way too much anyways *points at an empty wine bottle, some worms and other small creatures wriggle inside*
>>36585607
Mages, never accepting a no. As always.
>>
>>36585613
Oh, it has? I had heard that a new master of greenery had appeared and showed great promise. I'm sorry to hear that something bad happened.
>>
>>36585613

knowing that you know nothing is the beginning of wisdom
>>
>>36585504
Interesting. That POTION should have at least returned YOU to a stable form. TELL me, do you still SEE the color blue? DOES your tongue feel like feathers? IF NOT then you should be ok.
>>
>>36585651
I created my garden, my wonderfull garden, and I wanted to share it, I opened my arms wide for settlers and pilgrims, opened my arms for anyone willing to coexist with nature...but I was betrayed. Geldariend and his Garden died, but from the blighted swamps, the cesspool that took it's place, a new man was born.
>>36585709
But sometimes you have to know better or you fall into a trap, like a fool.
>>
>>36585650
Please please please?
>>
>>36585759
That's sad. What's your agenda nowadays?
>>
>>36585759

no man knows all so I guess am a fool
>>
>>36585650
Some fine cheese perhaps? I have a feeling that glorified rotted milk might be something you have a weakness for.
>>
>>36585773
No bother someone else, maybe brother Tom.
>>36585804
Vengeance. In my hands I wield the powers of the blight, the power of lands corrupted and ravaged, the essence of rot and decay. Someday nature will take back all the lands ravaged by civilization, I just help by cultivating the natural end of all things.
>>36585867
...How moldy is it? Maybe maggot cheese? I love that one.
>>36585860
But you will learn.
>>
>>36585917
The most rotten gorgonzola in the back of my restaurant's pantry.
>>
>>36585917
Well, good luck in your endeavors, just know the Cult of Changing Tides will survive.

Its really not worth it, Noel. How I spell depends on how much work I've been doing with my spellcraft, and what perfume I picked up that week.

anything else you need from me?
>>
>>36585917

we shall see
>>
>>36585955
I love how she tries to hire a druid to smell you and I'm the weird one.
>>
>>36585773

she>>36585955 smell like Peppermints, Spell Components and ink
>>
>>36585944
I don't need luck, nature will always win in the end, no matter how tortured it is.
>>36585963
Indeed we will, I have my eyes on you.
>>36585927
...That sounds good.
>>
>>36586020
Lay it on me, my ego can withstand whatever malodorous funk I secrete!
>>
>>36586020
Well, what is your opinion on Sahuagins?
>>
>>36585982
I think it's funny you think I could afford to hire druid.

Just saying, you know.
>>
Ok, I am NOT sure how this portal got so messed UP. I managed to CLOSE the one that led to the Abyss, but TWO more popped up. ONE LEADS somewhere into hell I think, and the other to the elemental PLANE of water.
So you all might WANT to roll up your robes a bit the floor IS getting a little wet. It is a small PORTAL but it doesn't want to stay closed.
>>
>>36586094
Don't they give you underlings an allowance or something? I know I got one. Or maybe I sold things that weren't mine, it was a long time ago and there were a lot of drugs involved in my apprenticeship.
>>
>>36586048
You smell like...a bit of sweat, faintly of underdarkian parfume, not yours I hope, a bit of copper and thats it. Now give me the cheese.
>>36586071
Waterdwelling humanoid creatures, never had to deal with any, heard they are evil but keep to their word, also prone to natural mutations wich is very fascinating.
>>
>>36585955
That will be all Sam.
>>
>>36586094
>>36585982

I find it funny you two think a druid could be hired
>>
>>36586096
Oh, I actually know the plane of water closing spell very well. Muitso Susualc Auqa. *Portal closes leaving a puddle of water behind.*

>>36586158
Well that's good. The Cult has an alliance with most of the major Sahuagin communities.
>>
>>36586196
Really? I heard they rarely ally with anyone, besides Sharks.
>>
>>36586219
Well, the current god we are worshipping is also one of their gods.
>>
>>36586236
Interesting, are their cities really so great they darken the ocean or is that just a rumor?
>>
>>36586158
As promised, one ridiculously aged lump of gorgonzola. Don't ask about the perfume.
>>
>>36586258
One or two, the different communities are, well, different. One of the cities was amazingly vibrant while some were dull. Some had smooth architecture while another had sharp edges and spikes everywhere.
>>
>>36586303
*Grabs the gorgonzola and stuffs it under his robes, underneath something moves*
>>36586342
My swamp is very spiky but actually rather colorful. Ever saw bright green or dark purple water?
>>
>>36586401
Yeah, comes with the living for 5 millenniums thing. But, that doesn't lessen the wonders of colorful waters.
>>
>>36586489
Nature can create so many wonders, I wish i could see more of the world.
>>
>>36586549
Why can't you?
>>
>>36586604
The last time I was away from my swamp for a long time settlers tried to build a village there. It was pretty stupid of them to settle in a place called the Blighted Swamps, so naturally they all died, still they disturbed my ecosystem and I really don't like that.
>>
>>36586654
Well, if you want I can see if some of the cult members would be willing to watch it for you. A good number of the cultists are surprisingly druids of decay.
>>
>>36586695
That...that would be wonderfull. I always wanted to travell a bit spreading my word, fighting people who exploit nature with their own corruption, maybe even rise up a bit in the druid circle, the Archdruid really got soft...
>>
>>36586732
Sure, no problem. And if you ever need some help I'm sure the cult will be able to.
>>
>>36586778
Yes I thank you very much, but I think I have to go back to my swamp now, I am preparing something big down there *turns into a swarm of leeches and scatters away*
>>
>>36586831
Okay, bye!

....Looks like I'm the last one here. Might as well get the Cultists ready for swamp duty and Spider-God killing.
>>
My lords I bring poor news about the accounts-
Oh sweet mother of all good Gods.
>>
>>36587171
I told them all this day would come. No one believed me.
>>
>>36587233
My Lord... are you referring to the accounts or this...?
>>
>>36587299
BOOOOOOOOOOTH
>>
I apologize for my lateness but I had pressing matters elsewhere to attend to. What did I miss?
>>
Well since it seems everyone has left I guess I will take my leave as well.
>>
>>36582230
Why did we allow someone with the job title "Traitoress" into the guild anyway. I'm pretty sure that isn't even a form of magic.
>>
>>36588008
New title, she was the Witch Maid before the betrayal.
>>
>>36588008
I'm pretty sure apprentice isn't a form of magic either but no one gives you any crap for it.
>>36588033
And now I have no one to clean my quarters. Do you people think I am some kind of functioning adult who doesn't live in fear of my own experiments and research?
>>
>>36587873
It seems I am late to the party as well, Soros. That damn blighted swamp is infecting too many of the peasants with various forms of rot.
>>
>>36588137
Get a Druid to look at it they can help. We're on decent terms with them now.
>>36588129
No I do not. Just get a Conjurer to summon up a something to do it for you.
>>
>>36588189
Tried. Couldn't find anything willing. Couldn't coerce anything to either.
>>
>>36588205
Get Lupa to make you something then. She can do cute as well as ugly.
>>
>>36588218
She's already doing me a large favor involving something in my creepy room. I owe her a dozen corporeal phantasms.
>>
>>36588243
Oh gods, that's going to be a clusterfuck. Get the Janitor to do the cleaning then.
>>
>>36588262
I can't do that to Mort in good conscience. Also.....Jheska may or may not have seen my longevity plan in that room. Possibly could have something to do with our current situation involving her.
>>
>>36588288
For fucks sake man. I would think a Conspiromancer would have better security than that. Tell me what was involved cause I'm going to get upset if I have to use a recall on it.
>>
>>36588317
Erm....methodology. And she was considered trustworthy for quite a while, and the only one willing to go in there to clean.
>>
>>36588340
Did I or did I not tell you she was trouble? Besides leaving something like that out is asking for it to get cribbed or stolen. Now Pierre what was the methodology? You can whisper if it's bad.
>>
>>36588405
.....I brainwash my body doubles into thinking they're me and then take control of them if I die.
>>
>>36588427
What. You WHAT! *An energy tentacle shoots out of back*
>>
>>36588447
Which is why I have such a personal interest in fixing this, I feel responsible. And honestly, I'm not sure if I even really count as the original me, so who knows right? Please ignore that there may or may not be a dozen of me running around. I don't like looking them in the face, its creepy.
>>
>>36588472
*eye twitches* Excuse me I am going to go kill something. Strike that a lot of somethings because I am pissed. You of all people know how I hate mental domination. *walks away Muttering under breath*
>>
>>36588501
To be fair, they're manufactured. They didn't have minds before I turned them into me. They all just parrot what I say until I expire and take one over.
>>
>>36588501
Really, they all just sit in there and mimic whatever I do. And stare at me. Oh come on, don't be that way, you've done worse.
>>
>>36588517
>>36588637
*calms down* That is different then. Clones and mental imprinting are far different than domination and subjugation. Also I have never mentally dominated someone, manipulated them yes, but never dominated.
>>
>>36588761
So....yeah. My method of swapping between doubles may have similarities to how she body hopped into jheska. Or imprinted something, I'm still not sure if I've actually died. Not that it matters, you all haven't noticed a difference.
>>
>>36588797
Whatever you say Pierre. So can you show me what she saw?
>>
>>36588841
I.....yeah. Behind the bookshelf in my office. No point in me going, I can still talk to you in there.
>>
>>36588865
*grabs Pierre and starts dragging* You're coming with. Also summon up a cleaning angel.
>>
>>36588896
*dozens of doubles all speak and move in unison, suspended in glass tanks*
I really hate coming in here. Cleaning angels won't come either. This is a blank spot to any eyes other than material ones.
>>
>>36588954
Huh, well then, get a blind cleaning angel to clean for you. It's a thing apparently. Also you didn't properly suspend your replicants, no wonder you're having issues with them. Any ways back to the issue at hand, Notes.
>>
>>36589036
YOU!
Meeting while I am teaching!
Explain!
(also briefing on what happened so far. Did the drow come out to play once more?)
>>
>>36589036
Big arcane sigil on the floor, under the dust. Also amplifies my spellcasting if I do it in the middle. all the information is there if you can read the runes, although they work better when not understood. It also strikes me that there may be a good reason I keep putting this uneasiness to come in here into my psyche whenever I make a new one.
>>
>>36589110
No, but the druid says I smelled like I plowed one. Which is actually a surprise to me. Aaaaand the secret to my dashing good looks and well-maintained form has been revealed. Can we please leave this room now? The unusually ornate tank at the back with the fancy tapestry gives me the willies.
>>
>>36589110
Better ask Conspierre, Cromina I was away most the meeting.

>>36589111
Hmm, neat good inscription on the runes although you translations are pretty bad comparatively. 7 out of 10.

>>36589151
Sure go ahead and go, no need to see yourself. I have what I need to start a spell of unraveling.
>>
>>36589151
>dashing good look
Can't you be serious even once?

>Can we please leave this room now?
Uh, actually, where the fuck are we? It is pretty weird...
>>
>>36589190
They're supposed to be. I...didn't set this one up. Please don't unravel my backup plans, and keep in mind that we don't even know if it was the original jheska that was killed. Or even if the one in fryja's head is remotely controlled or not.
>>
>>36589216
My creepy room where I keep my body doubles. And please, I don't see you on any swimsuit calendars. Can't argue that I'm not decently well preserved.
>>
>>36589249
>I don't see you on any swimsuit calendars
Check the one at the Clerics' Association, then.
>>36589231
>we don't even know if it was the original jheska that was killed. Or even if the one in fryja's head is remotely controlled or not.
Cromia is confused. Care to explain?
>>
>>36589231
Wasn't planning on doing anything other than reading your notes. I can begin to use those to study and unmake the Jheska in Fryja's body.
