Jal takes final bow and the lights go out over the stage, and turn on over the audience. At Islas and Sofias urging you risk a look over the balcony to see who saw that...somewhat true version of events to date.

A few members of the audience are looking up at your balcony and some cheer and wave as they see you looking out. In a few minutes the whole audience is looking up, congratulating you, cheering, waving, or a combination of these.

The audience is made up of all of your allies, as well as many people you met on your travels, you see: Mayor Bilsthwaite; Braggedin, Sleekit and the goblins; Camryn, the demon cultist you saved, flanked by a pair of church guards; there’s Aunt Anniya, Uno, Juvo; your mother, and a beautiful young woman sat next to her that looks familiar, your eyebrows rise as you recognise your Goddess in the audience; you see the werewolf Elders Theron, Hella and Calim; Ellahi Valyenya; the necromancer Johann Claus, under guard of course; Vantorim and Eliskael, your senior Angels and many more people you met on your travels.

“Speech, speech!” yells someone in the crowd, a cry picked up and repeated until the whole crowd seems to be asking you to say something.
>>
“Go on” encourages Sofia. You gulp, you’ve no problem talking in public, but you didn’t prepare anything and they’d expect you to stand at the edge of the balcony to see you talk. You’re not exactly dressed for a speech, still wearing the somewhat sparse maid outfit Jal bought you, as well as a collar and a leather leash.

>No speech (just a quick thank you)
>Be funny
>Be embarrassed
>Be serious
>Give a critique of the play

Was seriously not expecting her of all people. I am quite pleased.
>>

>>
You take a few steps forward, until you’re at the edge of the balcony and everyone can see you. The cheers, whistles and catcalls slowly die away and then you start to speak.

“Thank you all for coming” you say, shaking a little “I’m not sure if I should be glad or embarrassed that you all got to see me stripped bare – in a narrative sense – on stage.”

The enthusiastic comments make you blush deeply “Yes, very sorry, that’s all you’ll be seeing of me tonight, yes I love you too, thank you.”

You pick up the thread of your speech, whilst trying to ignore how little you are wearing. “Jals story covers most of the salient points of my life so far, whilst putting her own...unique...stamp on the play as a whole. I can’t say she was being truthful in all regards – I certainly never stripped on stage.”

“Yet!” someone yells from the crowd. You give an embarrassed smile “yet, anyway, but whilst Jal hasn’t always been truthful, it’s better than a boring rendition of the facts, and thankfully skips over days of boring travel, or the everyday hardships we all endured.”

Your face screwed up in a scowl you shake a fist in the direction of the stage “Of course, for all the nudity and innuendo, Jal will be feeling the rough side of my tongue soon enough, that lewd little elf!” After the laughter dies down you conclude on a serious note “So yes, that was more-or-less the life of me, so far. Thank you for participating, thank you for what you’ve taught me, and remember to always bring a little joy into the lives of others.”
>>
After several rounds of applause, and many congratulations by the audience over a buffet dinner, you Sofia, Isla and Jal leave the theatre and head out into the city.

It’s late, and inns and pubs are open, the streets are packed with people and everywhere you look there are stalls selling food, drink and all sorts of treats. Everywhere people are wearing all sorts of garish costumes: dressed as undead, dragons, demons, angels and stranger things.

“What’s going on?” you yell to Jal over the noise of the crowd.

“Local holiday!” she yells back, you can barely hear her. “Festival of Spirits or something - don’t worry, all the costumes should cover us.”

You have to admit, she has a point, thanks to your *sister* elves now have rights in Drache, but they’re still rare, and the Demonslayer walking the streets of the city could spark a panic.

As Sofia and Isla hang onto your arms, Jal is in front, dragging you by your leash “Where are we going?” you yell.

“Inn with booze and dancing girls” Jal yells back.

“You know alcohol doesn’t work on me right?” you yell back.

“But strippers will work on yer!” yells back Jal “Yer just have ter pay em ter forget the no-touching rule!”

“Not what I mean-oh” you say, as Jal leads you all down a side alley the noise level drops considerably.

“Short cut” explains Sofia “I do believe the inn is that way Jal.”
>>
Jal leads you through a few twists and turns in the alleys, until ahead you see a half-dozen girls in skimpy outfits, they don’t look happy to see you. Behind you another six block off the alleyway.

“Jal..?” you ask questioningly.

She drops your leash “Not planned” she says “not by me anyways.”

The two groups of girls advance slowly, some pulling out knives. Jal also pulls a knife and looks at you questioningly, Isla prepares to cast a spell and Sofia raises her fists.

The girls appear to be a low-purity demonbloods, physically attractive, but their eyes are full of hate.

Although I think those might not be hostile.
>>
You say very quietly “Isla, behind us” Isla nods and starts casting her spell at the same time you say to Jal “This collars not magical right?”

“Nah” she says, holding her knife casually “The only fizz it ‘as is one ter tickle yer and another ter remove yer clothes.”

As Isla finishes her spell and blocks the alleyway behind you with a wall of magical energy you release the sanctuary you keep stored within you. Most of the women ahead of you stop at the edge of the sanctuary, one continues on for a few steps, then falters when she realises she’s alone, behind you four of the women are stopped by the sanctuary, two more continue but are blocked by Islas wall.

One of those in front that was stopped by your sanctuary puts her knife away, and holds both hands up to show she’s unarmed. She says to Isla “ok, I can see you’re a pretty strong fizzer, we din’ mean ter threaten yer.” She points to you “But that silly dollymop is cruising our rookery. Fer that she gets a leather, and if she don’t rat out her cashman, she gets another one.”

“Uh Jal” you ask, looking to your side, only to see Jals lips pressed together and her face going red and she tries to hold in her laughter “They think yer a redskirt” she chokes out, laughing “They think yer a whore and are tryin’ ter scare yer off their patch!” Sofia and Isla relax, a little.

Ok that kind of makes sense, sort of.

“I’m not a prostitute” you say to the girls, their speaker talks over you “I’ll say” she says, looking you up and down “You might just have an ok body, and the fetishwear seems well done, but 6 wings? Really? Everyone knows the Demonslayer only has 2. Still the angel on a leash idea has some potential.” She adds consideringly. As you try to think of a reply to that she continues “And what, the Sammi here” she gestures at Isla “and her two Jills got a group rate off you?”
>>
Now that’s just insulting. As your companions start to laugh you try to think of a way, any way, to preserve your dignity.

It might be, but in-universe it's a reference to a Drachen comedy play starring a pair of lesbians, Sammi and Jill, which is popular among the lower classes.

>>36619791
Yes, and demons are literally made of evil. Demon-bloods commonly detect as evil for the purposes of Sanctuary even if they haven't done anything wrong. This has come up before in the story.

>Demon-bloods commonly detect as evil for the purposes of Sanctuary
All of them are demon-blooded, and they would need to be some pretty fierce hookers to make the will save on our Sanctuary.

And everyone here got the in-universe reference, he was commenting on the potential RL reference.
>>
>>36619791
I guess 31 is still pretty good for convincing them. Even with possibly heightened DC from being jaded and whatnot.
>>
>>36619807
Its true that even non-evil demons trigger our Sanctuary, but thats only true for full demons, not demon-bloods.
As evidenced by several of these demon-bloods entering our sanctuary.
>>
>>36619831
Or some of the hookers don't have enough demonic blood to qualify as automatically evil as far as Sanctuary is concerned. Or some of them have done enough good to override their blood being automatically detected as evil.

You can't say for certain.

>>36619845
Anything evil triggers it, demonic blood automatically detects as evil in sufficient quantities, they do not have to be full demons.
>>
>>36619864
>You can't say for certain.
Yes, you actually can. All of them have only miniscule amounts of demon blood, so no, they don't trigger it just by having a little bit of demon blood in them. They do because they are Evil, and they others don't, because they are not.
>>
>>36619864
Thats reaching pretty far instead of just accepting the obvious solution of some of them just being evil, which isn't very implausible in difference to your speculations here.
>>
>>36619888
They could have varying amounts that still make them identifiable as "low-purity demonbloods"; some could be 1/8th demon and others 1/16th, with the latter not tripping Sanctuary.

>>36619900
You do realize that detecting as evil for a reason unrelated to blood in this universe doesn't mean low-tier crimes, right? They should really be imprisoned if they're detecting as evil for a reason unrelated to blood.

I don't see how them having different amounts of demon-blood in a former Lost Prime is really implausible.
>>
>>36619931
>You do realize that detecting as evil for a reason unrelated to blood in this universe doesn't mean low-tier crimes, right?
Actually that doesn't mean it at all. It just means a sufficent quantity of low-tier crimes and a accompanying mindset.
And maybe they even commited some murder or some such here and there, they came at us with knives for just being on their turf, I find it not unlikely they have done enough to warrant registering as evil.

And its not implausible that them having different amounts of demon-blood, I question the speculation that the Sanctuary gives a shit.
It reacts to demons and demons alone, nowhere does it say it reacts to demon-bloods, nor have we ever seen that happening.
>>
“Ah look girls” you say as Jal keep laughing and even Sofia and Isla are trying to suppress smiles “There seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding here, I’m actually just here on an evening out before my wedding, this” you gesture at your outfit “is just what I have to wear as part of tonights entertainment, none of these girls are paying me for sex.”

You notice Sofia quickly clamp a hand over Jals mouth as she tries to speak, probably something along the lines of *you do it for free* if you know Jal.

The lead hooker waves her knife at you “Oh yeah, whats yer ‘usbands name then?”

“Well actually” you say, indicating the three giggling girls around you, “We’re all getting married.”

Jal breaks free of Sofias grip just long enough to gasp out “Got a group rate on our wedding though.”

The ladies around you don’t seem convinced “Prove it” says one. Rather than ask how, you just let a little angelic energy slip into your voice “Really ladies” you say mildly “you don’t want to attack us, and you don’t want to be living this life, how about we meet you tomorrow, we can discuss your career opportunities then.”

There’s a pause and then the leader of the group says “C’mon girls, there’re Jacks awaiting, this little Jude ain’t worth our time.” And with that they sheathe their knives and leave.

Isla gives you a fond, if exasperated look “Always trying to save people aren’t you Sireyi.”

“Everyone deserves a chance” you say mildly

“Yeah” adds Jal “plus now I know you want a dozen ladies for yer next birthday.”

“I wasn’t suggesting they come along now” you protest as you continue your journey.
>>
>>36619931
>They could have varying amounts that still make them identifiable as "low-purity demonbloods"
What matters is the Sanctuary registering them as demons or not, and I find it highly implausible a 1/8th demonblooded would be found as a demon and a 1/16 would not.
Either someone is a demon or not.
And they are not.
>>
At the inn Jal takes you to, you see a wide variety of patrons: demonbloods, dragonbloods, even humans, orcs and a few other races. The drinks are expensive and demonblooded men and women dance on stages with revealing clothes on. Many of the wealthier-looking patrons have young and attractive men or women hanging on their arms. In your maids attire, looking like an gel and wearing a leash you attract a few raised eyebrows, but you’re not the only one sporting these themes, just the only one with all three at once.

Your fiancées push their way to the bar, order drinks and then you all retreat to a partially concealed booth.

“This isn’t really my scene” you say to your fiancées “but if it’s what you want to do...”

“It’s not ours either” explains Sofia “but we agreed Jal gets to call the shots tonight, Isla for our first wedding anniversary, me for the second, Jal for the third, then Isla again, and so on.”

“Don’t I get a say” you protest.

Isla shakes her head “We’ll follow you in politics and war and just about anything else Sireyi, but in this we get to have our chance.”

“Yeah” says Jal, putting an arm around you “so this evening, you do what I say, if I tell yer ter get on the table an’ dance that’s what you do.”

1/16th is the exact point where demonic blood stops pushing people towards evil, it would be safe to assume it's the point where they stop detecting as evil as well. That or it stops at 1/32 or 1/64 or so on, it makes no difference so long as it's possible they have varying amounts of demon blood.

Demonic blood detects as evil for the same reason demons do - it's made of evil.

Sanctuary works off the same principles as Detect Evil for now, so anything that it would detect as evil would be considered evil by Sanctuary.

Oh hey, look what I found.

>>33378703
>Part-demons will always detect as evil, and their natures push them towards evil acts, but they are not all evil.
>>
>>36620080
>Part-demons
I don't see how 1/16 demons would not be part demons.
And Detect Evil having the same priorities as Sanctuary is pure speculation and mostly disproven by the fact that Detect Evil explicitly only detects major non-magic evil, while Sanctuary has no such clause.
>>
>>36620080
>1/16th is the exact point where demonic blood stops pushing people towards evil
If the demon blood in someone is still strong enough to have effect on their physical features, I would find it very implausible it would not still be stronge enough to be registered by Sanctuary.
>>
>>36620103
>I don't see how 1/16 demons would not be part demons.
They could be a lower concentration, I don't know, but that's what happened.

That or they were good enough to override their blood.

>And Detect Evil having the same priorities as Sanctuary is pure speculation
It makes more sense for it to do so than have it's own priorities for some bizarre reason. We're both speculating on how it works.

>Detect Evil explicitly only detects major non-magic evil
Except it's stated to detect magical evils too.

>Magical evils (demons, evil magic) are detected, but non-magical evils are only detected if they are very evil. I.e. you don’t detect most thieves, but you’d pick up on a cruel slave trader, or mass murderer.

>>36620123
It's possible there's a concentration of demonic blood where it still causes people to have those features without detecting as evil, allowing them to enter our Sanctuary and not detect as evil.
>>
>>36620156
>They could be a lower concentration, I don't know, but that's what happened.
No, what happened is, they registered as evil, not as demons, and the Sanctuary kept them out. While the others did not register as evil, because they weren't and the Sanctuary let them in. It a simple and uncomplicated explanation not requiring the kind of lenghty speculation and assumptions you are making.
>It makes more sense for it to do so than have it's own priorities for some bizarre reason.
No it doesn't. The reasons are completly obvious. Detect Evil doesn't exist to find minor thugs, it is there to allow a Paladin to find people that are worth the attention of a Paladin. While Sanctuary is there to protect someone from people likely to mean them harm, and a minor thug, no matter how minorly evil, is still evil and therefore a potential threat.
There is nothing bizarr aboutt hat, Detect Evil doesn't need granularity.
>Except it's stated to detect magical evils too.
Yes it does, but they aren't magical evils, so it doesn't matter at all.
>>
>>36620156
>It's possible there's a concentration of demonic blood where it still causes people to have those features without detecting as evil, allowing them to enter our Sanctuary and not detect as evil.
Its possible, but extremly unlikely. If its still strong enough ot have a magical effect strong enough to warp someones very appearance, its just not likely it wouldn't be picked up by Sanctuary. So the simple assumption is, Sanctuary only registers actual full on demons and just demon blood doesn't matter to it.
I have no idea why you think that your complicated "maybes" are more plausible then the simple very real likelyhood of them just having been evil. Its hardly baffling.

“Fine *Mistress Jal* anything you say” you smile at Jal “but just for tonight.”

“Excellent” she says, tenting her fingers and peering at you over the top of them “excellent my pet.” Uh oh...

Despite your fears Jal doesn’t order you to do anything too outrageous throughout the evening, mostly she seems to get a thrill from just having you under her control – ordering you to pull her chair out for her, fetch you all drinks, mundane tasks that you’d have done anyway if she asked nicely.

The four of you manage to have a good time, drinking sticky-sweet drinks with strange names, watching the dancers, and recounting old stories, as well as musing about what your lives will be like from here on.

Over the course of the evening you visit many different inns, and you pick up quite a lot of invites to *special* private parties at later dates, guess the maid-angel-on-collar look really is popular in a certain section of Drache society.

The four of you also take time to get some dancing in, in pairs, three and as a full group.

Your own immunity to alcohol only really begins to tell later in the evening, Sofia and Isla having pacing themselves and seem only somewhat intoxicated. Jal seems to want you to try every drink on the menu, and insists on matching you drink for drink.

She’s tipping a drink full of green and blue swirls called “Slide into Insanity” down your front and attempting to lap it out of your cleavage when it becomes apparent she really has drunk too much. She looks at you with an unfocused expression and says simply “Feel sick.”

Fortunately your reactions are quick enough that you get out of the way before she throws up all over the floor. It’s not long before the bouncers have thrown you all out.

“Not how I expected the evening ending” Isla comments to Sofia.

“Really?” says Sofia, one eyebrow raised “From my experience with Jal, this is usually the way it goes.”
>>
You support a wobbly Jal as she’s sick in the gutter “I think it’s time we went back home” you say gently to Jal.

“Jus one more inn” Jal insists weakly, her eyes unable to focus on you.

“No” says Sofia “let’s just get to a teleport zone and go.” A fairly recent addition to Drache cities, teleporting in public unless to or from a designated zone, is illegal.

It’s the early hours of the morning and as you head to the zone, a few blocks away, you keep hold of Jal, supporting her as she occasionally retches into the gutter.

As you keep stopping, Sofia and Isla start pulling ahead, their arms around one another and leaning on each other for support, slurring the lines to a song you heard sung earlier. You make sure to keep them in sight.

Until a group of street toughs surround you that is. “Really?” you ask in disbelief “twice in one night?”

One of them steps forward, slapping a club into his hand “Hand over the elf, dollymop, and we won’t ‘urt ya, much.”

“Is everyone going to mistake me for a prostitute tonight?” you ask the world adding “She’s not a real elf, it’s just a costume.”

“M’real elf!” protests Jal as you hold her up effortlessly with one arm “Too mush elf fer yoo luv, you cana handle this mush elf.” And tries to kiss you, but only succeeds in sticking her tongue in your ear.

You’re facing 8 or so street toughs, mostly low-purity demonbloods, they’re standing pretty close and are armed with a variety of weapons.

You shake your head “have a nice night boys” you say, simply spreading your wings and taking off. They yell at you and a couple throw knives at you, missing wildly as you rise into the air, Jal slung over one arm. “Bye-bye little people” Jal slurs “see you next year.”

You circle a few times to ensure that they’re going in the right direction, away from the teleport zone and then you head in that direction, now where are Isla and Sofia? Ah there they are.

Sofia and Isla are lying on a bench in the otherwise empty square, Isla has Sofia pinned underneath her and they are enthusiastically kissing, their hands roaming over each others bodies, Sofias legs wrapped around Isla, Islas tail thrashing in the cold night air.

You land next to them, they don’t notice you. Jal looks over to see the source of the noises and says “hey aparty..” and them slumps, limp in your grip, breathing deeply.

---

After seeing everyone safely to bed you retire yourself, getting only a few hours sleep before the keeps servants wake you. You sleepily sit through a bath as someone washes your hair and then servants dress you in your wedding outfit – a military uniform that is really a modified Paladin of Konig uniform, with the insignia changed to that of Velya.

As your fiancées take far longer than you to get ready, you spend your time double-checking all the preparations, and welcoming the guests as they arrive, making sure everyone has a seat, and making small talk.

Eventually everything is ready, just after midday. You approach the alter as Velya herself stands there, ready to perform the ceremony. The music changes from a soft calm tune to a triumphant procession and you look behind you to see three beautiful girls in dresses walking up the aisle. You feel something on your hand and look down, your hand is shaking uncontrollably, you swallow, suddenly feeling nervous, this is it, no backing out now.
>>
Sofia is wearing a traditional Royal Hanse wedding dress, blue, with a long train of purple cloth carried by several servants.

Isla is wearing a simpler, elegant green dress that flows and billows around her.

Jal is wearing an even simpler dress, white and low cut, you can see slits up the side to show off her legs...and you can see she’s still wearing her knife-sheathes, very classy Jal...

They all look very happy, though you do see a few tears in Sofias eyes, and you see Islas hand shaking slightly, until Jal grasps it firmly in one of hers.

You stand together and Velya starts to read the ceremony, most of it passes in a blur, you’re too hyped up on adrenaline to take it all in, and you’re trying to remember your lines, this would be the worst possible time to screw up.

You manage to repeat the wedding vows without tripping over any lines, and giving the right responses, until you get to the end.

“And last of all” says Velya “Before I pronounce you all married, what would each ask of the others?”

Ah yes, the part of the traditional Velyan wedding ceremony where the soon-to-be-weds are expected to ask their partner to add an extra line to the wedding vows. Normally all agreed upon in advance. You kept putting it off and you forgot to choose one. They’re usually fairly simply and not onerous, but the choice of the vow (so older Velyan novices told you as a child) sets the tone of the relationship.

As you frantically try to think of an answer, you barely hear Isla, Jal and Sofia giving their last vows to one another – all pre-agreed on of course. In multi-person weddings you can ask the same of each partner, or different ones of different partners.
>>
For you, Isla asks “Sireyi, will you always respect me and treat me as an equal?”

“I will” you respond

For you, Sofia asks “Sireyi, will you always love your children, and put their needs above your own?”

“I will” you respond

For you, Jal asks “Sireyi, will you always be mine?”

“I will” you respond

They all look at you expectantly, as does Velya.

You finally manage to assemble your thoughts into something coherent.

“Isla” you say "Will you always trust in me to share in your worries and griefs?"

“I will” she says with a shy smile.

“Sofia” you say "Will you always keep yourself and all others I love safe?"

She nods “I will”.

"Jal” you say “will you always take pride in your nature and keep me humble?"

“Aww yeah” she says with a grin, then notices Sofias and Islas chiding looks and says “I will” in a more subdued tone.

“I now pronounce you all married” says Velya with a smile “you may now all kiss one another.”

Ah this bit you didn’t really plan out, for a frozen moment you all stare at one another, you can almost see the thoughts going through their heads.
Isla is probably thinking logistics – are you supposed to pair off and switch partners, or form a line.
Sofia is probably thinking that you need to do something quickly, otherwise the guests are gonna laugh at you.
Jal is giving you all a slightly creepy grin, you are a little glad you can’t guess what she’s thinking.

In a Velyan wedding with multiple partners whoever is the partner first at the alter, the principal partner, is supposed to lead in this matters. What do you do?

You signal for Sofia and Jal to kiss one another, and sweep Isla up in your arms. Isla kisses you hungrily, desperately, and wraps her arms around your neck, seemingly unwilling to let you go.

You gently unwrap Isla from you and kiss Sofia, as Jal attends to Isla. Sofias kiss starts out formal, even perfunctory but quickly turns passionate and demanding, holding you tight and stealing your breath away.

You hand Sofia off to Isla as Jal moves into kiss you, curling one leg behind yours it seems she’s trying to trip you, probably being silly again. You easily sweep her off her feet and kiss her thoroughly, her arms wrap around your neck but there seems to be no tension or strength in them, when you finally let her go she’s a bit wobbly legged and murmurs quietly “Yeah that’s what I was talking about luv...”

With your public display of affections over, you all turn to the guests and smile your arms casually wrapped around each others shoulders or waists

As all the guests clap and cheer, and many start crying, you walk back down the aisle with your three wives and take your seats at the table as the round of speeches start and the food is bought out.

You converse with guests over the meal, still slightly disbelieving that you’re now married. Once dinner is over you all head to the ballroom to dance, the four of you take turns dancing with each other in pairs, and then altogether, then it seems like all of the guests wants to dance with each of you. The party lasts late into the evening, finally you get a little alone time to dance and chat with each of your wives.

You do you dance (and talk) with first?

“I never wanted to” you tell her.

“True” she concedes “But you didn’t seem to chase me much either.” She seems to lose a bit of her confidence and poise as she asks “Sireyi, did you really want to marry me, or is it something Jal and I pushed you into, and you’re just too kind to let us down?”

“I really do want you” you assure her.

“But how do I know you’re not just saying that to-” she says uncertainly, before you silence her with a passionate kiss, your wings wrapping around her and your hands on her hips. You just enjoy the taste of her, the feel of her body against yours. After a long moment, you both break for air.

“Wow” says Sofia “I guess that answers that, though you might need to remind me from time to time.” She says with a grin “I have a terrible memory.”

The two of you share a laugh and she asks “Was there anything you wanted to ask me?”

“Yeah” you say “I was a little distracted during the ceremony, what vows did you ask of the others?”

Sofia gives you a considering look “I asked Isla to always have the courage to question me when she thinks I’m getting it wrong, and to be patient with me. I asked Jal” her voice lowers to a whisper “well the wording was deliberately vague but I asked her to always be on the lookout for if I’m being stressed or bitchy, and if I am to draw me into a private room and-” You go bright red to the tops of your ears as she finishes that sentence.

“I don’t think she needs a vow for that” you say weakly.

“True” says Sofia “It was more about her picking her moments properly.”

You decide to change topics “What do you think our future will be like?”

“Oh politics and more politics” she says with a sigh “with precious few moments to ourselves. I’m sure you’ll defeat the Lord of Life, but to do so you’ll need to gather allies and armies, and you’ll spend hours negotiating and haggling to get everyone moving in the right direction.”

“Is that all you’re worried about?” you ask

“For now yes” she says “but I’m sure every day will bring some new challenge for us, I guess the only thing I really worry about is making time for you, and Isla, and Jal, and the children.”

As you lead her back onto the dance-floor the music picks up and you both start to dance a little more briskly “I hope the wedding lived up to your expectations” you say to Isla as you spin her around.

“Oh it exceeded them” she says with a smile, stepping away and then returning to your arms in time with the music.

“And Sofia and Jal” you say “I know they love each other, I just want to know that you can love them too.”

“They weren’t my first choice” says Isla shyly “But yes, I love both of them, and I wouldn’t give them up for anything, even with Jals crazy plans.”

“What’s crazy plans?” you ask suspiciously “Is this about the hints she’s been dropping about tonight.”

Isla blushes deeply and changes the topic “I wanted to ask though, since you’ll be living in your new nation, where do you want me?”

“You can go anywhere you want” you tell Isla more seriously “though I think it best if we construct several teleportation circles connecting Dalvin to the new nation, so we can easily move between them and see Jal and Sofia regularly.”

“Yeah that’ll be a good idea” says Isla “We should use Methagons Universal Theoram to allow us to move the circles, after all why should they be attached to fixed points? I know Master Halpurni described the Matrix as inherently flawed, but if you regulate the flow of thaumaturgical energies properly there’s no reason you can’t-”

“Isla” you say gently, breaking her out of her musing “Where do you want to live?”

“Oh” she blushes “Wherever you go, of course.”

“Of course” you repeat, smiling at her “Isla, I wonder, what vows did you ask of the others?”

Isla blushes and ducks her head “you really want to know?”

“Of course I do” you reassure her.

“I asked, I asked Sofia to teach me how to be a better mother for our children” stammers Isla, her voice then drops to a whisper “And I asked Jal to teach me how to make you want me.”

“Of course I want you” you reassure the shy girl in your arms “what makes you think I don’t”

She looks down “Jal can make you blush with just a few words” she says “I want to be able to do that too.”

“Jal” you say firmly “makes me blush so much because she keeps pushing the limits, if I didn’t blush I expect she’d keep going until one of us ended up naked in public. You don’t need to be like Jal for me to want you” you pull her close for emphasis and whisper in her ear “I’ll show you how much I want you tonight my love.”

“Yes” she admits “The other me, the one with the Lord of Life, I’m worried your double might try to redeem her.”

“Why does that worry you?” you ask “redemption is a good thing.”

“She’s been ruled by that thing for years” points our Isla “She could be beyond hope.”

“Perhaps” you conceded “But isn’t it worth it to try?”

“I suppose” she grudgingly admits “But I don’t want to go anywhere near her, unless you’re sure she’s safe.”

“I can agree to that” you say “now, what do you suppose our future will be like?”

“Ruling a kingdom of demons” says Isla “is going to present some challenges, I mean logistics, housing, food, roads, trade...” she chatters on for a while as you hold her in your arms, listening patiently. Eventually she catches herself repeating what she’s already said, and kissing your cheek says “now go give Jal a good smack on the ass.”

You look around for Jal, only to feel her hands stroke down your wings, you shiver with pleasure, your wings really are sensitive, you turn round and ask “May I have this dance?”

“You may” she says in an exaggerated noblewomans voice, taking your hand and pulling you close, whispering in your ear “And later, you may also have this girl, as many times as you’d like.”

You laugh, despite the blush creeping across your face “You never stop do you?” you ask her fondly, gazing into her eyes.

“Nope” she says happily “never going to, neither.” The two of you dance together for several minutes before Jal asks hesitantly “Sireyi, can I ask you sumthin;”
>>
“Of course” you say as Jal rushes on, barely hearing your reply “So Sof is a Baroness yeah, and Isla is great at fizz, and will be like, overseeing making magic stuff I bet, but I dun have much of a job ter do. I was thinking, when you go to rule the succubums an’ such, you’ll have like a church, and I could be yer high priest, I’m sure Isla can set me up some jumping rock so I can be in Dalvin and in yer kingdom right quick, so Sofia is never alone.”

The thought of Jal being high priestess of your succubi worshippers does cause your mind to go some strange places and your blush only deepens.

Jal stays with Sofia plus most of the questions, ok, writing.
>>
>>36622189
Could we get a suggestion in about talking about a position for her later if she feels so listless?
>>
>>36622189
>>36622211
I don't think "listless" is what she feels, but I would like to talk about that with her more too.
The usggestion of spymaster was made, which is probably more in her strength.
>>
>>36622218
Speaking of spymasters, our aunt seems to have disappeared even though I recall her agreeing to come to our barony.
>>
>>36622232
She was in the theater. She did say she wanted to stop the spying business ,so there was no reason for her to appear anymore.
I'm sure she had thrilling off-screen adventures saving our barony against conspiracies.
>>
>>36622232
Just a sign of how good she is at it. She was at the show last night.
>>
“I think you’d make a great priestess of a succubi church” you tell Jal “But right now, I think Sofia needs you more. I couldn’t ask for a better second than Sofia, really I think the barony would have fallen apart without her, and her being there really freed me up to do a lot of other things, like running around dealing with catastrophes, dealing with barons, and yes, with inquisitive royal agents too.” As Jal looks sceptical you say “Sofia really is going to need you, to be her eyes and ears in the barony and beyond, and to be her most loyal agent – someone whose loyalty she never has to doubt.”

As Jal opens her mouth to object you add “I’m not saying you’ll never be my priestess, here in Dornmer, or elsewhere maybe, but high priestess is a job involving a lot of boring accounts, diplomacy with other churches and administration, is being shut up in an office all day really what you want Jal?”

“No” she grumbles “suppose not.”

“Besides” you add “helping Sofia manage the barony will give you an idea of what such a job entails, and who knows, high priestess, prime minister, spymistress, there could be a lot of different...positions in your future.” Jal grins “Yeah alright” she says “I’ll keep me option on *positions* open fer now.”

With that decided you ask Jal “so what vows did you ask of the others?”

“Same as fer you” she giggles “I’m not asking fer oaths of loyalty or teaching or stuff, I just wants yer all.”

“So nothings worrying you about our marriage then?” you ask “or about anything else?”

Jal shrugs “nah, if I were flappin, I’d come ter yer, oh sure” she concedes “Always wondering what sorta life Vivi is gonna have, what’s around the corner like, but nuffink big on me mind right now.”

“And what do you think is around the corner?” you ask.
>>
“You kicking the Lord of Life in” says Jal with a shrug “you ruling a whole kingdom of succubums, you not doing what I tells yer” she says with a sly grin “and getting outvoted. And yeah, you not taking time ter relax an’ breath and enjoy yerself” says Jal “Fer a saint o’ happiness yer never seem to ‘ave much of yer own fun.”

“Like last night?” you say “I’m not sure vomiting into the gutter is my idea of a good time.”

“Yeah but the lead-up was fun” says Jal “And ya coulda healed me” she grumbles. You laugh and continue the dance, alternating between your wives until late into the night...

---

With the festivities over, you retire to the master bedroom of the Dalvin Keep. Jal, Isla and Sofia come with you.

“Well” says Sofia, “now that’s done.” She runs a hand through her hair “I think everyone enjoyed themselves.”

“Yeah” says Isla “I saw Gendric lying in the fountain, snoring, I think he drank too much of the dwarven ale.

“Now” says Jal, approaching you with smug grin “yer ours...” Tentacles start to emerge from under her dress.

“Gee Jal,” says Sofia is exasperation “could you keep it in your underwear for five minutes? Just until we’re undressed.”

“Oh I’ll undress you alright luv.” Says Jal with a suggestive leer, heading for Sofia.

“The buttons Jal” says Sofia, as Jal embraces her from behind and starts kissing down the side of her neck “the buttons first” Sofia’s voice sounds a little breathless.

“Want me to unbutton you” asks Isla “wife?” She looks at you with uncertainty in her voice and stumbles over the word a little.

“Of course” you say warmly, helping her out of her dress, and Isla returns the favour for you. Jal and Sofia manage to get each other out of their clothes too, though they take a little longer.

With the four of you in your underwear, your wives all look at you expectantly.

“What?” you say.
>>
“Well” says Sofia mischievously “you’ve always been a take-charge kind of person, what, or should I say *who* do you want to do first?” she indicates the king-size bed in the middle of the room.

“You’re asking me?!” you say incredulously “The least-experienced person in the room in matters of...of...”

“Sex?” says Isla with a raised eyebrow “and, uh, Sireyi, you’re being a bit presumptuous aren’t you?” Sofia and Jal giggle at this.

“Of course” you say, stepping towards Isla and kissing her “forgive me, please, Isla, is this your first time too?”

Isla blushes deeply as Jal shakes her head, a smug grin on her face “Sofia and Jal have been teaching me a few things” she stammers out “I figured if we were all going to be together I had to get to know them better and-”

“And we got to know each other very well” says Sofia, with a grin “Isla was shy at first, but then she let all her inhibitions go once we’d taken the time to get under her skin.”

The three of them approach you slowly “let’s get to know you better too Sireyi...”

great thread pally, and thank you so much for running!
>>
>>36622653
And it won't happen by thread 57 either, for the reasons explained last time.
There is no reason for Sireyi to get pregnant right now, while two of her wives are also pregnant, she has a lot of stuff to deal with right now and can get pregnant anytime.
>>
>>36622653
>>36622629

Not if I can help it.
Maybe in thread 70 or however the LoLs issue takes. Thats the kind of stuff that guy is just waiting for.

>>36622689
If you mean the Killing Frost, he'll be dead or irrelevant before the timeskip starts. He'll be mostly irrelevant in about five minutes.

>>36622708
He's pretty arrogant and failing to take Sireyi seriously, so I doubt it; he's a fairly distant threat.

Sireyi being pregnant doesn't mean we're defenseless. Her mother is just as powerful as her, if not moreso, we have a host of angels and we'll have a nation of Succubi, who have all fought for survival in Hell their entire lives.
>>
>>36622815
Didn't Sireyi get some guff for going into hell pregnant?

or am I confusing this with Exalted quest?
>>
>>36622815
>he'll be dead or irrelevant before the timeskip starts
Did youforget the time he nearly killed us and killed Isla and Ebby even from miles distance?
I have no inetntion to risk the health of Sireyi babies on your overconfidence, way too often have we risked people on forgetting that not everyone is as invincible as Sireyi herself is.
Defensless or not, in any given conflict her unborn child would be at risk, and there is absolutely zero reason to take that risk right now.

That was a mistake our mother made based off a comment of Jal's, Jal was referring to future children from our impending marriage.
>>
>>36622815
>He's pretty arrogant and failing to take Sireyi seriously
No he isn't,, he is currently busy conquering the plane, and make pretty good headway in that regard, we know absolutely nothing about his plans.

>>36622889
You are, although Maka never entered Malfa, so I'm not sure what you are confusing.
>>
>>36622815
This kind of argumentation "he is totally no threat you guys", nearly and in one case actually killed oSireyis loved ones repeadetly.
We wanted to stop doing stupid shit like that.
Sireyis pregnancy can wait. Sofia will need help while she is pregnant, Sireyi will be busy building a nation and dealing with threats that pop up around us.
And as I said last thread, I don't want her to have to rush her pregnancy.
>>
>>36622933
>, so I'm not sure what you are confusing
Just who was actually pregnant, apparently. Though Maka did basically go into a hell on the dead of Creation and nearly die.
>>
>>36622917
Shouldn't we keep 30XP behind to give Immortiality to her wives?
I remember there were some misgivings about letting them pay the Xp cost of that.

He's also eating any local or lesser deities that belong to the countries that his forces conquer. He was already damn powerful right after his nap, and he's personally getting stronger even as he adds more corpses to his army. He may also be looking to build more robots/constructs building facilities on conquered territory too, so we have an army of those to look forward to, too.
>>
>>36622917
>Wellspring of Life -6 GXP
Not sure if that’s a good idea. They have all the time in the world, they don’t have to hurry to get many children at the same time.
>>
>>36622917
>Wellspring of Life -6 GXP
Seems like a waste, we don't really need that right now, unless its the prerequisite for something else.
Honestly, will we ever need it?
I mean, Sireyi will get pregnant at some point, but I don't see why she would need to be able to get pregnant several times over. Instead of using RoAL to get pregnant from all her wives at the same time.
Can't comment on Adaptive Sanctuary, but I assume it will be useful.
Besides Move Earth I don't know if we need the new spells, but I don't have any concrete objection either.
Otherwise, looking good.

>>36622993
I wonder about that too.
>>
>>36622917
Thanks autism anon
>>
>>36622993
Adaptive Sanctuary will allow us to use all the parts of Fecund Sanctuary except the increased growth rate of children, so that's a 1/20 aging rate for all of them, assuming we can pull some shenanigans to get Sofia's realm to count as ours for the purposes of Sanctuary 5.

We can burn 3 DP for that instead, if it's vital that they become ageless immediately.

>>36623065
>>36623106
They don't, but it's more for the possibility of Sireyi having triplets fathered by each of her wives as her first pregnancy in the future than for immediate usage.

I felt this was the most convenient (and possibly only relevant) time to get it, due to possible events surrounding the impending timeskip.

Root of All Life doesn't work that way, this is the power that lets it work that way.

The reason she might be able to get pregnant from all her wives right now is because her next child is fated to be triplets; I highly doubt such a thing will be possible in the future without the aid of this power.

I can change it for something else if it really bugs you.

>>36623046
I don't understand.
>>
>>36623128

Thanks for the thread, OP!
not really my cup of tea, but you're making a valiant effort. You're good and should feel good.
>>
>>36623156
>I can change it for something else if it really bugs you.
I personally don't see much use for it right now, we can always buy it later. Should people decide for Sireyi to become pregnant, then her next children will be triplets anyway.
>>
>>36623156
I would prefer to not keep the immortality thing waiting, you never know what might come up.
>>
>>36623255
It's not really immortality, just agelessness, and it would probably be better for us to burn 3 DP for it instead.

If we don't burn DP, I'll have to slice out a significant amount of good abilities.

>>36623234
>Should people decide for Sireyi to become pregnant, then her next children will be triplets anyway.
Her next children will be triplets, but it doesn't matter if she's the mother or the father.

I have reason to believe it will be relevant before we next receive XP.

I'll go through the rules sheet and see what there is to replace it in the 6 XP range.
>>
>>36623156
Wouldn’t some higher level of Divine Shield be really useful for Sireyi?
>>
>>36623638
Divine Shield 4 is extremely good, and it's next on the list.

Limitations on experience have relegated it to next time unless people are fine with me dropping Sanctuary 5 or Titan's Endurance.
>>
>>36623717
Naw, we need Titan’s Endurance for the wedding night and Sanctuary 5 to fight the winter and improve the realm.

I just feel as if every time something went wrong it was because of some spell affecting our party, so I deem that the highest risk at the moment.
>>
>>36623838
Titan's Endurance actually helps with that weakness. It can emulate the effects of Divine Shield 4, just less efficient and probably not as good against god-tier foes.
>>
>>36622447

I know you don’t want it discussed here, but I have a comprehension question:
How did they "share" taking the virginity? From what it seems to me, it was just Isla taking it with the others making out with her. How is this "all planned out"?

Oh, and I wonder how many exp we got for the wedding night… Just kidding.
