Hey I made a better pdf, and wrote a real intro. You want to maybe delete this and make a new thread?

-----------------------
Domain Master Cyoa Thread #1

Welcome to the very 1st Domain Master cyoa. The purpose of this cyoa is to create a realm/game level/domain of your own for the purpose of either trying to save the world, trying to destroy the world, or just doing random shit in an attempt to stay neutral.

Your domain can be literally anything you can think of, it could be a generic flaming hell filled with demons, it could be a labrynth made out of ice, it could even be a burger joint run by driders.

What ever you make though, be sure to include a description of your choices, and maybe even a background for your realm. Rolepplaying in encouraged and players can are allowed to compete against eachother.

>Rules
1.No shitposting.
2.Try not to be an asshole.
3.Please no pornographic domains. You can make refrence to your world being, "the pit of please" or "filled with exotic slaves and harems" but don't go into graphic detail.

But, other than that, have fun.
>>

I lorenth, am the archmage of the Darshim, god of music. As the lord of music and beauty he forged a court whos purpose was to keep this world pure. Despite demons, liches, and old ones we made sure this world didnt become utterly decrepit. For millenia i fought for my lord until one of the ancient evils rose. This evil, known only as The Silent Mouth rose to destroy this world. In a great battle to keep the world truly beautiful my lord took all his angels, clerics, and paladins and met this evil head on. The ensuing battle killed the both the Evil and my lord, along with most of his court and worshippers. I and few others still remained, corrupted by the fight and asleep for millenia. When we awoke we saw this decrepit world with its scheming races and murderous false gods. In the name of Darmish this world will be made beautiful again. Despite the corruption of the ancient evil we are angels of beauty and all the corruption did was change that beauty to a different state. I will remake this world as a beautiful land and slay all evil in my path.

Hah, as if! We've survived assassination, exile, subjugation, reclamation of our lands, and civil war. Every day, we cope with hundreds of different enemies - whether it be dissent from within our ranks, the treasonous Flame Legion from the north, the accursed minions of the Elder Dragons from the Brand of Kralkatorrik, the expansionist Ogre armies from beyond the Blazeridge mountains, and the ghosts of all those we've slain from beneath our feet. Through all this, we've not only survived, but thrived and grown - already Humanity has become nothing more than a fading spark, their gods dead or departed from this world, just as we had slain our own gods once they became too unjust. There is nothing your false threats could possibly matter to us, for we are Charr, and we are indomitable!

>>36909551
>>36908791
Hmph, another worshipper of Fire? It may prove enticing, giant, but know this; the Flame Legion has been reduced to nothing but cinders from the horrors they committed in the name of the Flame. What will you do with your eyes set on your fire?
>>
>>36909659
And in return you will give me?

>>36909670

Why, some of my boundless riches, of course! I have several items in my possesion that would be of interest.... Most of which, have never been seen by and land-dwelling creatures before. If that fails to interest you, of course, there are hundreds of sunken ships on the floor of the oceans across the world, with untold riches likely buried within...
>>
>>36909737
You brag about what youve been through beast. You preach about how you even slayed your own gods and fought off your own traitors.
Lowly brags that any mortal could say and with luck make true. But have you been through hell? Have you seen things that would drive men mad and to suicide? Have you fought evils that threatened to not end life but end the universe?

No you have not and yet you brag as if you have made grand accomplishments. Now leave pitiful mortal beast. You can barely see let alone comprehemd the big picture fool.
>>
>>36909752
Oh shit, what a threat that is. We're all shaking in our fucking boots.

Besides, I'd personally much rather do business than mass murder. It tends to lead to much better results in the long term. Any market for war constructs or enchanted weapons where you are? Or war constructs with enchanted weapons?
>>
>>36909851
I will accept. But what i ask for are 2 things
>Magical items that increase physical and mental attributes

>300 squidgirls, sharkgirls, and crabgirls for my realm. We will provide them with adequate care and housing for we would like to..."sample" your culture. Also please send your prettiest and give pictures of the beauties if at all possible.
>>
>>36909670
Hah, are only those with visages as ferocious as the beasts of the wilds those who see reality here?
>>36909587
>>36909808
These so-called "Righteous Gods" ignore the two-hundred years we spent under foul, purist Human aggression, instead only focusing on what we do - the big, bad cat beasts who reclaimed their homeland after years of genocide and exile. Typical of those so high and mighty - they may as well be Human Kings with their attitude.
>>36909873
Why, a matter of fact, we have.
Ever heard of an Elder Dragon? No? Look it up.
Without us Charr, those things would have eaten all of the world by now. You ever hear about that? No. All you care about is your precious little beauty.
>>
>>36909909
Hmph fine. Do you have any of this magical versions of these guns i so often see and hear. We would like to have them magically attuned with flourishing aescetics. None of that rust and iron color its so dull. In exchange we will pay any price worth 1000 magically attuned guns that can fire magical projectiles. We also request over 100 craftsmen. I will pay any price not to steep, from gold to monster slaying. Name your price.
>>
>>36909942
Mmmhhhh.... An interesting request. It takes time to test and catalogue magical items, though. And, what are these "Pictures" you speak of?
>>
>>36910035
Oh you know just how they look is all we wanna know.

>>36909949
Really beasts? You talk about your own oppresion as if its others fault. All you had to do was fix your situation and not become a bunch bloody savages with guns!! And really? You think showing me how big its spine was would faze me. You face a mere dragon, i have faced abominations of literal world rending strength. So deal with your lot. Maybe if you hadnt rid of your own gods yoy would not be in this mess beast. Now do you submit to your betters? Or must i wipe you out myself?!
>>
>>36909949
The past is in the past. The guilt for what Humanity did outside of my vision is not to be laid down at my feet.

I slew the Great Undying Dragons of Old. If it were not for Seath the Scaleless I doubt I would have ever defeated them in the first place, and somehow I doubt you would even be able to so much as scratch their scales with even the mightiest of your weapons let alone exist in that time period.

There was nothing but grey and the Everlasting Dragons upon the surface, and us Humans below, there was no life, no death, everything was an unchanging landscape made from grey dust and grey stone stretching forever onwards.

Until, one day, me and my closest friends discovered The First Flame. We each claimed a piece of the First Flame and took to the surface. The first battles against the Dragons were desperate, be barely survived with out lives despite being far more powerful than them. And then, Seath, came to us, and told us the weakness of his kind. And with this knowledge, we slew the everlasting dragons and brought life to this once dull and grey world.

I have been watching Humanity grow and prosper ever since. And was surprised to see other races appear, such as your own. The first acts of your race would forever stain you it seems. Your kind brought about a regime of slaughter and enslavement. You were destroyed and brought low by many mortal kingdoms, and I smiled at their success and looked onwards. I am sorry that those kingdoms enslaved your kind in vengeance, but you began the cycle of evil in your first steps into this world. The first being you slew was a diplomat sent to greet your kind. I knew her personally, she was a loving and kind women, always wishing to see the good in others.
>>
>>36910016
Righto. I assume you mean the handheld guns, not cannons or the like. We've can probably put together some nice arqeubuses fairly quickly, but you'll need to be more specific for the enchantments. Weapons only accept one, and enchanting a reasonable amount of ammunition would take the better part of a millennium.

Also going to have to decline the craftsmen deal. We've barely got enough of them as-is.

Hmph, you are just as idiotic as you came off as. I said look them up, not look at some odd image of Kralkatorrik. Now then, I'll put it like this:
Imagine you have everyone in the world, all peaceful and friendly, working together and powerful. Now introduce Elder Dragons. Elder Dragons win in almost all situations.

These Dragons aren't mere whelps. The god of my people - the god in whose name the Flame Legion subjugated the Three High Legions - was the biggest, strongest Demon. Ever. We killed it, end of story.

Besides, we've given you an ultimatum. Stay with your own people as we finally get our just revenge on the pitiful Human civilizations the wretched beasts call their bastion, or get in the way and die. The world will be a better place if you'd just let it happen; Humans never did anything worthwhile anyways.

>>36910253
HAH! Some memory you must have, then! If you truly knew, the Charr lived in these lands FAR before humanity ever existed in this part of the world. As a first action against us, they ASSASSINATED the ONE TRUE LEADER WE HAVE EVER HAD. We have only been completely united and peaceful ONCE, and the Humans decided to end it just so they could set up one pitiful kingdom.

Face it, old one. You know our actions are justified. Don't bother ignoring the facts. We fight, and slaughter, and raze their cities to the ground because it is JUSTICE to this world to eradicate the plague known as Humanity.
all this taken from true GuildWars lore, m8. Charr are OLD, and Ascalonians shoved them out of true Charr land to set up Ascalon.

Ugh, you say you're so old, but all I see is the naivety of a Cub too young even for the Fahrar. We've slain the Human Gods, we've slain almost all of humanity, we've slain an Elder Dragon, we've slain the Titans, and we'll slay you, too.

Just a quick question from Charrbro, why does everyone who play this almost always choose to be gods? Why choose such a boring option?
>>
>>36910536
Actually, I am unsure of the safety of my subjects in such an enviroment. I am afraid I may have to call the deal off.

>>36910587
Not playing a god, just a ruler.
>>
>>36910398
Ah. Well then, those aren't really guns at all. 100 pistol shaped magic shooters is a slightly different order, but we'll see how the designs seem.

>>36910587
And if there's a war going on, it's always best to make sure both sides can fight it. Any chance of business, catbeast?
>>
>>36910372
Thus must have been an unfortunate mistake then, so long ago. But past mistakes do not make up for present day actions. However, know that I am a merciful Lord. I am willing to spare your kind. However, I would have remembered your kind when I fought the Everlasting Dragons, I had lived for what seemed like millennia before the First Flame was found. I remember the first raindrops and the first seeds that sprouted. I remember the first bricks being laid by a young and hopeful species. Humanity may have been new to you, but it was merely your first meeting with an old and ever changing species.

Your kind is beautiful in it's own way, I will weep for at it's ending just as I do all others but I will not back down from war and I will protect my subjects.

>>36910587
An Everlasting Dragon? I suppose an entire civilization banding together could potentially do something. Anyone who totes around the title of "God" needs quite a bit of reexamination. I am a Human, I was lucky to come across this power and anyone could have been lucky enough to get power similar. I am ageless, powerful and mighty, but I can still die just like anyone else. I can still bleed. I can still make mistakes. I am not a god, nor is anyone else who would ever claim such a title. I am merely a Lord, a humble servant for my people.
The Dark Souls setting is, for all intents and purposes, ancient mythology with all that entails. Gwyn is basically equivalent to Odin, but interesting thing is that they are never referenced as gods in universe. And I chose Gwyn because, really, why not?
>>
>>36910612
Alright no women but still treasures and magical items

>>36910587
Fools preach about how theyve slain the human gods. Not even counting all the gods let alone the fact you know not thebtruth behind the human gods. You say i am young yet you are blimded by your hubris and hate. Release those bonds and i shall show you true beauty.

Also im not olaying a god but a celestial/hedonistic angel. Gods are fun but at the same tine boring. To compare mortals are fps while gods are strategy games. You take one mortal and school an army wih gods you take one army and school a universe. Its all about perspective and how big you want to be on the setting.
>>
>>36910677

I don't want no trabble

High in the sky behind several veils of illusionary clouds there is a kingdom ruled by an immortal elf. Long ago, during an age of war and grief, she led her people here in search of peace.

An unfortunate mistake? These fools and their gods marched against us as soon as they landed on the shores of Tyria. We tried giving peace a chance once we had defeated the Forgotten, and all it resulted in was the death of the Khan-Ur, the loss of the unity of our ENTIRE SPECIES forevermore, and the only chance we had at having a homeland where it would actually be SAFE to walk even five miles away from an outpost without weapon or armor. Humanity sowed the seeds of their destruction, and we are reaping.

We will not forget what has been taken. They picked their enemies, and, just as all other who decided against us have, chose them poorly. Peace was tried once, and we won't fall for that trap again; either stand aside, or be caught in the crossfire. Glory to the High Legions, and glory to Charr!

The rush of battle is far better than such hedonism. The only service sex serves in Charr lands is to produce more cubs to be put in the Fahrar and be made into useful workers and soldiers - anything more is both a waste of time and effort.

High above the clouds exists Cloudren, the realm of The Sky God, Caelus. Caelus watches over this realm of his, protecting it and all of it's inhabitants, yet he allows his inhabitants to govern themselves. All those who wish to join him in his realm are welcome to so long as their heart doesn't carry and evil intentions, his wise and trusted Oracle will see to that you are telling the truth.

Caelus wears magnificent armor that is light as a feather yet strong enough to bear the weight of a Colossus. He wields a sword said to be crafted by the very winds themselves. Light as a feather, yet can cut through practically anything.

He is not above leaving his realm for a short time to put a stop to something which poses a threat to him and his citizens.

All that is light is not good.

The Realm of Photh is a place of pure light and pure insanity. A simple but exactly carved stone door high in the Arctic mountains can be opened to enter it. Passing through the blinding yet seemingly black portal reveals first an enormous cube made of prismatic light then the surrounding endless fields of perfectly regular crystalline grass, gently swaying in non-existent wind. cont.
>>
>>36912287
Above, the sky is pitch black save for the two blinding blue white suns that illuminate the world completely. It would be unwise for mortals to gave out into the horizon in this realm, for there is only madness in the distance and whispers carry on the wind.

The enormous cube is the home of Photh, where he keeps all of subjects and disciples. There he teaches dark forbidden wisdom to those whose minds can comprehend it and subjugates those weak willed to serve him. He endeavours to send out his tendrils into the world in search of more disciples to teach and uplift into a more ideal form. He sends his agents to infiltrate society and select individuals to be sent back to him. These agents may also collect information on those who would endeavour against him and acquire more power for him.

Those who follow his guidance (monstrous humanoid minions) glow with his inner light from all their fleshy openings. A dark light that simultaneously illuminates and drains all other illumination. The forms Photh creates to subjugate the mortals that come to his world (monstrous elemental overseers) and those who truly transcend take the form of great masses of of shards, limbs, and shapes that twist and change constantly. All made of hard light.

Realm Hidden & Separate

I discovered the demon plane as a human. It turned me into so much more. Utilizing my power I shed part of my human soul and formed a demon/human hybrid, now my companion who does my bidding.

I created a new superior race of versatile demons hybrids who can breed with any demon or humanoid. One Demon lord found our hybrids inferior and wages war against us. We are happy to test our new power against him.

Even the realm itself was mine for the taking. Tearing a part of the land, I separated it and formed it into a new plane. Here I rule with an iron fist and building a bigger army.

The realm can only be entered through summoning of a demonic portal. A portal can pop up anywhere in your world, and when it does, legions of demons will invade to take your riches and humanoids, and force them to breed and turn them into slaves. We can be hired, but the costs might be too great.

To invade would leave the world vulnerable to other forms of evil, such as He-Who-Leads and that creature of the woods.

Though I agree, he is a menace that must be stopped. The question is how? The key in that lies in getting our hands on one of his priests.

"Raise the levies. We shall aid our allies in this conflict."
>>
>>36915918
My realm is a burning, clanking inferno, choked with smog and dust, fires eternally ablaze as the hammers of industry ceaselessly drum. The sky is almost never completely visible, such is the smoke that clogs the air, so dense it is. What can be seen is a harsh, blazing Orange-reddish sky, illuminating the land in stark reds and oranges, creating dark shadows everywhere and giving all a hellish glow. The land is littered with machines and broken buildings, all in various states of construction and demolition, fires having scorched and partially melted some of the oldest examples. There is no organic life in my realm, though not through a lack of trying, as the numerous corpses and blackened, burned trees can attest. This however does not mean my realm is lifeless, for within the wastes lurk forgotten and abandoned machine life, some demonic in form, having arose naturally from the trash that litters the ground, others abandoned, discarded, half-forgotten warmachines, semi-sentient weapons built for my eternal crusade but having been found wanting and thrown without a care into the wastes, forming an ecosystem of their own, a grotesque parody of that which exists within more natural realms. Within the center of my dominion lies a city of black iron, through which rivers of molten lava flows, while from the center of that an active volcano rises, riddled with tunnels and halls, magma poring from out of it, even while the inhabitants of my realm scurry and stalk in and out of it's depths.
>>
>>36915986
Those that naturally dwell in the domain I call 'home' are of a demonic nature, bodies always ablaze, eyes aflame, towering over many of the average inhabitant of other realms. They differ from the normal demonic sort however, by the machine-like material that composes their bodies, giving them the look of ever-burning Mecha straight from the depths of hell. Baleful horns rises from each of their heads, the size signifying their rank in my hierarchy, and twisted, metallic wings sprout from their backs, giving them no sort of flight but allowing them another form of attack, if they so chose. The other, far more numerous inhabitants, the backbone of my power are the machines, constructs built by myself and my hordes, the first eons ago, ever expanding, ever working, never tiring. They come in all different shapes, their bodies built for their purpose, form following function, tyranny in the most insidious of forms. Despite the obvious differences, both my demons and my machines are alike in fundamental ways, needing neither fuel nor food, ever aflame, their minds slave to reason, and their lives dedicated to one purpose, my purpose, the only one that's true.
>>
>>36915939
Woops, forgot my name.
>>
>>36916010
The city is layered, it's size not betraying the actual enormity of area it actually covers. Indeed, one could not possibly know that it was build, not up but DOWN, going thousands of feet below the surface, spreading like a tumor across the land. Within it's walls, the eternal clanking and bashing of industry is nearly all that can be heard, with those working needed to shout and scream to be understood. Forges burn and engines churn, powered by coal and oil, the steam and smoke rising up and out of vents into the air above, clouding the sky with ash and soot. All that is made all day, everyday is more weapons, more armor, and more machines, even as other areas endlessly produce and repair the factories that produce those things, with yet still others being refineries and smelters, providing the raw materials for my enterprise, my goal, my dark, damnable dream.
>>
>>36916033
Within the halls of my volcano citadel, are the forces of my grand regime, the arm from which other realms are smashed. At the uppermost heights train my soldiers, endlessly honing their skills, ever preparing for the next raid, siege, invasion, extermination. Lower down my warrior squads prepare their minds and bodies, harden their black hearts, hoping to stain the earth of foreign domains, spill blood of the tainted, all in the name of their master and my one, true cause. Lower still are the Overseers and the Guildleaders, the Overseers proclamations raining down on the population like slabs of steel hitting concrete, do or die, make or break, forge or be finished, even as the Guildleaders endlessly produce new blueprints to be followed, new devices to be made, new weapons to be created, out with the old, in with the new, inovation at all costs, progress the word of the day.

Still lower, under the surface now, lie my Agents within a vast maze, practicing their skills, waiting for another opportunity to strike at those that rise my ire, the guides to those invited or taken forcibly to be within my presence, as well as unseen defenders, striking those that have somehow managed to avoid all the hazards, traps, and people of my domain. Yet still lower, now hundreds of feet below the surface, is my vast armory and my lieutenants' quarters, spanning thousands of feet in every direction. From here, they plot, plan, and scheme, guiding my armies, calculating my future, driving forward the horde with their example, even as they farther push themselves, looking to honor my name both word and deed, punishing and destroying all with the taint.

Fine. They are attacking. If anyone wants to counter attack them, now's the chance.

>I must do something about this failure before Master will punish me.

First rolling for closing the Portal.

If that fails, how will we roll since I have a better army and I have home advantage?
>>
>>36916098
The final two layers lie thousands of feet below the surface, down what seems to be an eternal staircase, directly above the volcano's magma chamber. The first is my personal throne room, from where I sit and plot the doom of the tainted, the hall long and wide, littered with half-built doomsday devices, cracked shields, broken armor, rusted weapons. I sit on a throne of staffs, bows, swords, knives and other such weapons of war, smashed and lashed together, all having come from the same kingdom, the first I ever wiped clean of the taint, mementos of the beginning of my crusade. Scattered and hidden on all sides of the yawning chamber, are traps that I can activate with a mere thought.

Directly behind my throne is as hole, large enough for me to fit through, opening into a ledge right above the magma chamber. Lying there, piled and throw around, with no rhyme or reason, are items, infected with the taint, existing in my realm only for me to study so I can negate them, further destroy things like them, and defeat and obliterate those that use them. Once one has served it's purpose, it is tossed into the lake of fire below.
>>
>>36916122
You must be asking now, 'What is your purpose? What is the "taint?"'. Magic, of course. Magic is antilogical. It breaks the rules of nature, defies the boundaries of reality. It's ways, it's methods, destroy common sense and rationality. For something so hideously inconsistent to be so prevalent is blasphemy, a crime of the mind, body, and what the ignorant might call 'the soul'. And so I must purge the taint, whenever, however I can. Religion is just as vile, for it encourages magic's use and growth. If magic is a disease, then Religion is the carrier. They both must be eliminated everywhere, forever. Indeed, for centuries I have worked to find a way to eliminate magic, without obliterating all reality or killing all it's inhabitants, though only to ensure my own survival, rather than any care for other lifeforms.
>>
>>36916140
My goal has not gone unnoticed, however. Angelic forces seek to purge me, viewing my very existence as blasphemy, despite routinely using that which tears at the walls of space and time. Most of the more chaotic and destructive demon lords approve of my rampages, not caring for the reasons why, but there are the intelligent and cunning who fear and loath my purges, with one powerfully tainted directly seeking to eliminate me. Then there are foolish 'heroes' who think to oppose me, following outmoded, foolish, and illogical moral codes, self-righteous in their thoughts, thinking that my purges are for some personal gain, random razing, or a scheme of petty evil. There are even those that hunt for the tainted items I horde, hoping for power, respect, and riches they would gain retrieving one of them. I care for none of these. Between my realm's hidden location, the one portal from which one might enter and leave it, the many hazards it has, both living and non, the forces that I command, the weapons both I and they wield, my vast mind, and my eternal patience, I will eventually prevail. They must win every time I start a crusade. I need win only once. Time is on my side. The taint will be cleansed.

My name is Oroche the Relentless and my realm is Golgotha, the Burning Forge.
>>
>>36916106
We took your priest in order to be able to enter your home world, you said the priests were the ones who can open portals.

As for the army, I'm not exactly sure how it's better, but you do indeed have the home advantage. On the other hand, we have 3 armies to your 1.

Okay it's 3v1 and attacking me completely unprovoked... So be it.

Portal is now stable and so big that it seems like both realms have merged. Since it threatens my realm and my rule, I will do anything I can.

Then I'll send in all my armies (except my companion), including myself to counter your invasion. If it fails then I'm dead, if not I'll counter attack straight out the portal and kill whoever controls the portals.

Or? Am I allowed to do that? Someone tell me what I can do and I have to roll for.

It's 3v1 and you hold home field, despite that though we still hold the advantage. I'd say you take a +10 to your rolls but we get to combine all 3 of our rolls together.

Does that sound fair to everyone else? Or does anyone have a better idea.
>>
>>36916730
To be honest I'm not even attacking you yet. The portal would probably self sustaining at this point and would take a bit of effort to collapse let alone the fact I didn't say anything about actually opening up a portal as of yet. We rise, and move to the next. The overseers slide in next to her, clutching at her tender flesh and whispering as they do. The next one rages, his ragged clothing denoting his poor rank in life. He screams promises of vengeance, spitting at our face. Our mandibles click, calling on long-unused muscles. "Do not fear. You and your kin shall become part of something greater. By joining our sacrifice you hold the darkness and madness at bay. We are not the enemy. The strange bays outside, howling for reality to devour. you are but one branch, and by using you to form a barrier, the forest lives." We pass him the knife. As you my have noticed, Geodites, or Bismuth-Children as they call themselves, are capable of merging with most objects and imbuing them with the adaptive properties of their crystalline flesh. Most of the infrastructure in Geode is maintained by them, as the structures are actually grown from magically strengthened bismuth.
The core of Geode is Mindful-Heart. It is governed by Thinking-Gear, Lead-Mind for Talkative-Logistics.
They are responsible for directing the growth of the city's architecture, as well as water recycling and long distance communications. They will care for the people, so the people can care for you.
Protecting the core is Domestic-Shield. The leaders of the Shield are John-Breaking-Teeth. The responsibilities of the Shield involve the defense of the city's territory, and striking out at immediat threats.
Responsible for interacting with the world around us is Forward-Hand. Their leader, Anita-Hears-Quiet, is as adept at parleying with the tunnel tribes, as she is with removing threats to Geode.
In the dark, the Hands are our eyes, and our teeth.

All is not well in the deep realms. Below our fair city, the obstinately savage Mole-men raid our mines and eat the those they kill. They seem to be directed by some malevolent force, but they are still the least of our worries.
Above us lies my sister. She and her cultists are attempting to resurrect my father.

This can not be allowed to succeed.

When my father's ascension failed it did so only in the most technical of terms. His spirit became one with the concept of Void, and consequently, he ceased having a connection to what currently is. Yet I can still feel him in my soul. I know he's become something terrible, and that he controls my sister like a puppet. Should he regain a stable hold of what is, I fear that this world is doomed. It's flesh, it's skin, it's breath, and it's blood will all unravel into the nothingness that has embraced my family.

Good morning lads. Fluff time

Every young boy in the South has had his head filled with dazzling tales of the Six Peerless Mountains and Four Auspicious Valleys. However, the vast majority of them eventually grow up to realize that these mystical places are not real, and the stories of their wonders are best left forgotten. This is exactly how the immortal Lord Evdis wishes it to be, having long ago deemed mortal men unfit to share in his kingdom’s glory and magic.

Evdis rules over Huraksha, the Plain of Serpent Pillars and youngest of the Four Auspicious Valleys. This ancient realm has long been hidden from the eyes of the world, but also serves as the last colonial bastion of Cedar Elves in the Southwest. Its people still manage to prosper and, unlike some other elven groups, can boast a stable population. This is due in part to the Hurakshenes’ well-entrenched friendship with the Pvhkim, or Children of the White Star. These wise but isolated beings are made of living starmetal, a material whose properties have not yet been fully explored. They are powerful allies indeed, but are themselves lacking in numbers and seemingly incapable of reproduction.

>>36917211

>>
>>36917220
Finally, there is Lord Evdis himself. He above all others has mastered the unique magic of the valley, and has made it his goal to gradually teach it to his people. However, Evdis’ connection to the arcane forces has also produced a macabre secret, which he now keeps from all except his trusted lieutenants: His body is steadily disappearing from the material plane. For the last five hundred years, he has never been seen outside of a single set of robes, headwraps, boots, and gloves, which is then topped off with an eerie bone-white mask. His subjects, for the most part, have taken this as a strange but innocuous display of the royal identity. In reality, though, these sumptuous vestments serve as an enchanted vessel for significant portions of the elf-lord’s essence. As unfortunate as it is, all this actually serves to make Evdis far more physically durable than the average elf, to the point where he could theoretically produce a functioning “body” from the clothes alone.

But now, the masked king must face the greatest challenge yet to the safety of his realm. Gillit the Unbreakable, a fearsome warlord of the old East, has made a pact with the wolf and bear spirits in order to empower himself and reanimate the pillaging hordes of his forebears. In return, the totemic deities would see Huraksha put to the torch, its magic scattered across the winds. The lich-warrior’s powers are hard to understate, but luckily there is yet much distance to gallop between him and Evdis. Even after covering it, Gillit must then rely on the faulty guidance of his scouts and shamans in order to even locate the hidden valley.

Captain Tibura, Commander of the Blue Fleet, at your service. Some call me a pirate, but I prefer the term... "Adventurer". My realm IS my fleet, which constantly travels both the seas, and skies. My quest isn't to take over the world, or any of that crap... My men and I are simply out in search of adventure.

Oh, good. At least we can stay out of the way of the current war...as terms, we both swear not to attack the other, and to provide free trade between our realms? I require raw materials that are hard for me to get normally, and you require more refined goods and drones?

Historically, wars fought 3v1 tended to go in the favour of whoever had the more men. But I agree, the +50 is kinda overkill. Maybe just a +10-30, depending on what lieutenants you have there.
>>
>>36917547
I went with the +50 because I was leading the charge. I assume I'd give it a significant buff. If you're in the front lines as well then maybe you could get that buff too.

Keep in mind you get a +10 for home field advantage. We're being fair here but it is 3v1

Don't bother. It makes no sense, it's completely unfair (+50 REALLY?) and there's no hope for me to win. Because Even you didn't specify how large your army is and I rolled a 92 on home field advantage roll which doesn't count for anything.

DOMAIN RULES
1. Don't be a douche.
2. State your action before rolling, allow 10-15 minutes for someone to respond
3. Leuitenants provide a +20 bonus for a task they are assigned to, provided they are skilled in the area (Assassins cannot create magic portals, champions cannot research the cure for fantasy AIDS)
4. Every minion token's worth of combatants adds a +10 to the roll. Convert as needed (for example, 30 soldiers adds +12 to the roll). When being used counter to their specialalities, reduce it to +5 per minion token (For example, thieves being used in a battle).
5. Magical minions add +15 per minion token, but they take 1.5 more casualities as normal units to represent their fragility.
6. Additional modifiers must be accepted by both players.
7. When in battle against another player or an opponent of your own making, you each roll 1d100, add your modifiers, and compare rolls.
The enemy beat you by 100 or more: You lose 75% of all units involved, or all resources/progress you made so far.

The enemy beat you by 1-49: You lose 20% of all units/resources/progress.
You beat the enemy by 100 or more: They lose 75% of all units/resources/progress. You gain 100% of your target resources/progress (Such as rounding up the entire village, hitting a siazble gold deposit, making a breakthrough on the decrytion)

Sounds great. Better than the current nonsense.

I look forward to a reasonable system rather than this biased guess based bullshit.

You'll probably get a lot of backlash for this. I for one welcome restrictions and balance with an impartial judge.
>>
>>36918173
That'd be great. We'll start this whole encounter over next thread.

>>36918188
This is seems agreeable to you guys?

>>36918220
Fine, but we have to find a way to integrate a domain's Complications, or else the balance will be thrown off.
>>
>>36918220
As far as a prototype it will work for now. Put it in the OP on the next thread. We'll pick this up later
>>
>>36918241
Yeah but also a risk roll to deal with it once and for all. In a way that you might end up with less value than that what you got as a bonus.
>>
>>36918241
Common sense could work here, is my guess.
For instance, soldiers probably can't attack flying islands, or underwater targets, without transportation of some sort or specialized weaponry, but that could make certain things OP.

>>36918212
Alright anyone archive it?

Also how do we shut down a thread?
>>
>>36918288
Report it perhaps? If you're the OP it shouldn't be a problem.
>>
Second thread up. I'll mediate this.
