You are Ur'shal, chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan, which now includes the Rockbrute Clan and the recently acquired Stormhowler Clan. You have well over a hundred orcs in your clan now, and if today goes well, perhaps you can add the Goatfoot Clan to your number as well. Of course you doubt it will be quite as simple as the Stormhowlers were, from what you've been told of their more cunning ways, you doubt you'll get a simple duel out of the ancient Goatfoot chieftain. On top of that, you aren't entirely sure how well the Stormhowlers will take to their old enemies becoming their comrades. Hopefully you can resolve this without the two clans butchering each other and costing you a lot of good warriors in the process.

“So what now, Ur? I can point you to the Goatfoot Camp, and I can point out a lot of the traps they've set around it, but I doubt I spotted every last one of them,” Zo'rok asks, walking up to you as your clanmates and the Stormhowlers get acquainted.

Ya'zada gives him a sidelong look, so you figure you'd best do an introduction.

“This is Zo'rok, one of my lieutenants, and an old friend.”

“Bit small, isn't he?” Ya'zada asks, earning a snort from Zo'rok.

You shrug, clapping him on the shoulder. “He's got the balls of an orc twice his size, I can promise you that.”

Ya'zada gives him a critical eye.

“Right, well I'm sure you wouldn't pick a weakling for a lieutenant at least. Now what did you say about the Goatfoot Camp?”

“We scouted the both of you out a few days ago. Goatfoot Camp is a few hours that way,” Zo'rok grins, gesturing off into the distance.

“It won't stay there for long, they move every few days. If you want to hit it, we need to do it right now,” Ya'zada explains.

You get the distinct impression that Ya'zada would rather charge in and kill everyone, but that wouldn't really do you all that much good. So the question is, how do you want to handle this?

(cont)
>>
>>37066341
You currently have your two lieutenants Zo'rok and Dru'ak, your two mates Sho'ka and K'zala, the ogress coven, five of your biggest clanmates, and ten veteran hunters of the Rockbrutes, all decked out in the best chainmail and steel weapons you have in your stockpile. You now also have the 50 combat-ready Stormhowlers, including the mighty former chieftain Ya'zada and the young Stormhowler shaman, who you believe was named Lor'gul.

According to Zo'rok's scouting, the Goatfoot Clan numbers around 40-50 plus some trained Crag Lions. You outnumber them, but they have the advantage of whatever traps and schemes they've cooked up to protect their camp.

So what's the plan, Ur?

Sperganon here, the first response is mine!
>>
>>37066358
I want to try surrounding them, but i have a feeling they might escape though underground or going above our head vai trees.
Can we ask our dick ass thief mate and friend for suggestions?
>>
>>37066425
Lack of trees in the waste, the jungle is still a fair bit south of you. Underground though, who knows, Zo'rok didn't spot any escape tunnels, but if they had one covered by a tent he'd have had no way of knowing.

But, my response added to the thread, and i finished reading as well.
>>
How about starving them out. It might take a while but we could eliminate any source of resources they have, and scare off any animals they hunt. This would force them into a confrontation with us.
>>
>>37066447
What does our dick ass thief mate, friend suggest?
Also what about luring them out, by having one group chase them towards a favorable position(the group chasing would get help finding traps), and we force them to comply.
>>
>>37066425
Our witches should be able to take care of any underground tunnels, I think.
>>37066447
How big was the camp? How tightly packed could we surround it? I think having them surrounded or taking someone hostage could work, but I feel we might have to use guerrilla tactics against them.
>>
>>37066371
Smut tales pastebin when faget
>>
>>37066471
I believe Orc are pretty hardy beings so my guest is that would take months.
>>
>>37066341
We used brute strength to integrate the Stormhowlers. Following the heroic formula we'd have to display extreme cunning to bring the Goatfoots to heel.
>>
>>37066447
do orcs have a universal peace symbol like a white flag or something?
we could have a meeting with the goatfoot clan chief and lieutenant.
>>
>>37066499
>Thinking of using the same strategy these guys have been using for years
I doubt it would work, we could kill a good portion, but the rest would get away, and that isn't counting our losses as well.
>>
>>37066471
That would take a long ass time, I'd rather deal with it fast if we can.
Maybe we can try bringing our witches and challenging the chief with our warriors, acting like we came to them to recruit them without having gone to the Stromhowlers, then the Stormhowlers come up from behind and surround them, so they really won't be able to refuse, or get slaughtered. They probably have at least a couple orcs willing to join us who are unsatisfied with the current ways.
Stormhowlers should only move in if they don't bend to our will though.
Our priest friend(Is he here?) could maybe take care of the lions.
>>
>>37066472
If you mean Zo'rok, who's really more of a scout and hunter than dick-ass thief, he recommends forcing them into a position where you can ambush them. He rightly reckons that the Stormhowlers would merrily charge into rows and rows of deathtraps if you leave them to it, so you'll need to coach them on the plan.

>>37066477
Camp is fairly small but densely packed, you have enough forces to surround it completely, but it would leave you spread a bit thin for any concerted counterattacks.

>>37066490
2015

>>37066517
Not that you are aware of, though you could just shout out to them for a meeting from a distance, voices carry well in the wastes, and Ur'shal can be pretty loud.
>>
>>37066358
well, Ya'zada leads her warriors into a frontal attack while we sneak in the Goatfoot camp.
>>
>>37066553
Nah, too many deaths.
Forcing them to surrender by force would make it pretty likely for them to rebel/want revenge as well, I believe.
>>
>>37066358
How about we smoke them out, and have our coven trap them in a pit, in the proccess of doing this as well.
>>37066472
>>
Why not wait for them to break camp? We can set up an ambush for them while they're in transit.
>>
>>37066610
>>37066591
So how about wait for them to start moving and then force them to an avoidable confrontation using the witches and smoke, and wing it from there.
>>
>>37066536
>Not that you are aware of, though you could just shout out to them for a meeting from a distance, voices carry well in the wastes, and Ur'shal can be pretty loud.

i'd like to try diplomacy before we start axing, bashing, slicing and magicing orcs.

this

No one likes this idea?
It could work if they haven't scouted us, especially if we can catch them in the middle of moving like >>37066610 said.
>>
Can our ogresses spot movement from ground vibration/something similar. We could lure them to ambush us and then counter ambush them and foil their surprise with earth magic.
>>
>>37066358
We have earth magic.

Just set a giant pit trap around their camp.
>>
Seeing a lot of different choices here, so let's put it to a vote.
>Surround the Camp
>Lure them into an ambush
>Use the coven's magic to smoke them out and ambush them
>Diplomacy
>Wait until they break camp, then ambush
>>
>>37066679
Ashuris isn't quite as powerful as she was on the night of the sacrifice, the coven could build a giant pit trap around their camp, but it would take a long time.
>>
>>37066680
>Lure them into an ambush
>Diplomacy
>Wait until they break camp, then ambush
>>
>>37066680
We'll definitely try diplomacy at least, regardless of what we do.
My vote goes to
>>37066680
>>Surround the Camp
like in >>37066534 possibly combined with waiting for them to make camp.
>>
>>37066680
>>Surround the Camp

Surround them while they are moving.
>>
>>37066680
>>Lure them into an ambush
and then >Diplomacy
>>
>>37066680
Why not lure them out of the camp, infiltrate the camp, and kill them when they come back?
>>
>>37066680

>Wait until they break camp, then ambush
>>
>>37066712
Rethought, could work as an ambush too, we wait for them when they move, do the offer, then the Stormhowlers come in if needed.
>>
>>37066680
>Diplomacy
They must be given a chance to cave. If they do not, then we eradicate.
>>
>>37066680
>Diplomacy
>>
>>37066731
Because I believe people would prefer not to kill potential members of your clan if possible.
>>
>>37066731
because they won't come back, and killing them is a waste.
>>
>>37066680
>Diplomacy
we can diplomance from a position of power so let's bring the stormhowlers as well but keep 'em on a short leash to make sure they don't become aggressive.
>>
>>37066680
>Use the coven's magic to smoke them out and ambush them
this one, but no diplomacy or we lose the element of surprise.
>>
>>37066680
>Wait until they break camp, then ambush
>>
If you guys think going in with all our cards in the open will work with the sneaky guys, you're really underestimating them.
>>
>>37066700
They can detect any tunnels though, right?
I mean, I doubt they have them for temporary camps, but some anon was paranoid about that.
>>
Seeing a whole lot of diplomacy, with some added luring into ambushes and waiting until they break camp.

So do you wish to wait until they break camp, then lure them into an ambush and commence negotiations once you have them trapped?

>>37066825
Ashuris does not believe there are any tunnels, no, plenty of hidden pit traps though.
>>
>>37066845
Yes.
>>
>>37066845
We must negotiate from a position of strength.

Wait until they're in the ambush, then negotiate. We'll have the upper hand and demonstrate our own cunning.
>>
>>37066845
Sure, I guess.
Consult any experts we have on things relating to this tactic.
Also Ya'zada on how the Goatfoot act/think. If they're unsatisfied with their chief or something, if they would be willing to join us.
>>
>>37066845
She could sense Those pit holes as they are artificial? Would dramatically lower our chances of getting hit by traps
>>
>>37066873
She can sense them to a degree, though it does require concentration on her part, so if you were to use her as a mobile trap detector, she would be moving very slowly.
>>
>>37066867
I doubt they would be unsatisfied, since he is still in power, they might be trying to suck up to him though/
>>
>>37066845
seems acceptable.
>>
>>37066845
Sure.
>>
>>37066845
Is that an overall approach bonus, or do we roll separately for those things? Any other kind of write-ins we could use to get bonuses?
Also, be sure to give Ya'zada some steel weapons and armor.
>>
>>37066917
No rolls yet, I am taking all suggestions into account though.

Rolled 14 (1d20)

Lets roll and see if todays Dice are merciful.
>>
>>37066976
Messing with the minds of animals isn't really their thing.
>>
>>37066929
I'll say try and create trench-traps, so instead of big circular pits there is just enough width for the orcs not to be able to step over, or do spread out small pits to break their possible charge if they want to fight.
Does Ya'zada think if she approached them straight up they'd just try to kill her?
I also really want to know how this conflict started before we do anything.
>>37066976
Doubt it, I think they can only mindfuck people, and even then only the weaker and at the height of their power.
But getting them to mindfuck some people they can, who look important or dangerous could be good if it comes to a confrontation.
>>
I just realized, the coven could totally make us a tunnel to the middle of their camp, or collapse it under their camp.
I mean, yeah it'd need time, but they could.
>>
>>37067007
We have a lot of momentum in uniting the local Orc clans, now that we have the stormhowlers, the goat foot clan fall into place. They can't afford to make enemies out of our assemblage.
>>
>>37067054
I still want the mountain clan, and than possible timeskip.
>>
>>37067054
They can't afford to outright make enemies out of us, but they could be cunning and plan revenge.

>No thanks.
Warlord says that we have been needing one for some time and the quest was made with time skips in mind.
>>
>>37067101
>>37067088
Hell we went through a mini time skip recently, the one i'm talking about is gonna be a few months to maybe a few years.
>>
>>37067110
I'm okay with mini time skips, maybe weeks long ones, but not one with several years.
>>
>>37067132
To elaborate, I'm assuming we wouldn't just stay put doing nothing important for years.
>>
>>37067147
we do need to breed and let the kids grow up to be able to fight
>>
>>37067132
Several years is going to be required if we want anything to do with a bigger tribe capable of taking on the wall.

In the meantime we would probably establish an orcish kingdom of the wastes as a base of assault and develop the area to live in better.
>>
>>37067147
>>37067132
Warlord will probably put to vote on how long we would do one, with longest probably being 14 years.
>>
>>37067101
We are very due. We have successfuly United all of the Orc clans more or less, or at least nothing stands in our way too unite them.
>>
>>37067167
Waste is a death trap, we would need to move north or south.
>>
>>37067164
We can still do shit while that happens, explore the wastes, get some brown elves, get the jungle under control, kill a dragon sometime, etc.
And then we can take on the wall.
>>37067187
>United all of the Orc clans
KEK
There are probably dozens of clans spread out, we just only knew of the ones near us, Warlord confirmed there are more clans in the Wastes.
>>37067192
I wouldn't say death trap, just hard to live in, but that's nothing new, we still have tombs to explore and clans to unite.
Not having the wastes under our control would be a waste as well, it would be our place to expand from that's be hard to take for enemies.
>>
>>37067192
Of course.
>>
No timeskip for a while yet, and it certainly won't be multiple years long, at least not at this early stage.
>>
>>37067192
Preferably south. We must dominate the jungle and mow it down, creating farmland that will supply our people. The trees and resources will support our war machine.
>>
You call Dru'ak and Ashuris over to you, Ya'zada and Zo'rok.

“You have a plan?” Dru'ak asks.

“I do, but first, I want to know anything you can tell me about the Goatfoot Clan, Ya'zada. We need to know how they think, how they act, if there's any infighting we could take advantage of. How do they feel about the chieftain?”

Ya'zada snarls. “They think and act like cowards, scurrying around in the dark, hiding, picking off lone warriors and smaller groups. They won't give us a fair fight if they can help it, and if you force them into one they'll be looking for any opportunity to escape and come back on their terms.

The chieftain is Or'kug, he's a withered, treacherous old bastard, but he's tough, and he's careful. If he wasn't he wouldn't have lived this long. He's also the only thing keeping the clan together, too many egos among his lieutenants, all waiting for him to drop dead so they can take charge.”

You feel you're getting a rather biased view here, but given the Stormhowlers' blunt outlook you suppose they would take poorly to more subtle tactics.

“I don't want to attack the camp, too many traps, they'll be well dug in and hard to dislodge. Instead, we wait for them to break camp, then we ambush them out in the wastes. Once we have them at our mercy, then I lay out my demands," you explain.

>>
>>37067239
Just be honest instead of denying your orc blood and say that you want to rape dark elves.
>>37067236
What is the history between orcs and elves?
>>
>>37067252
“So we're not killing them?” Ya'zada asks, looking a little annoyed.

“Not unless they don't give us any other choice. We need all the warriors we can get now, if we are going to reclaim our glory.”

“No warriors in the Goatfoot clan, but if you say so. I have one thing to say though, Ur.”

You nod, noticing that Ya'zada has already taken to shortening your name, apparently your new lieutenant gets familiar fast.

“Sar'zor, Or'kug's lieutenant. I want his head, I want to carve that smirk off his face and watch him die. Convincing my old clanmates to get along with the rest of the Goatfoots is your problem, but none of us will stand by while Sar'zor lives.”

Seems there's some bad blood there. If you recall, Sar'zor was the orc Ya'zada claimed had killed her former mate, the old Stormhowler chieftain, but you'd guess there's more to it than that.

“Killing one of their lieutenants flat out might not make us look good to the Goatfoots, Ur. Might make them think they're playing second place to the Stormhowlers, be careful,” Zo'rok adds with a shrug, earning a glare from Ya'zada.

Orcs and elves do not get along, at all.

Not least of which because orcs like the long-lived and magically adept halfbreeds they can get out of elf slaves.

There is also apparently some ancient elf legend about orcs being a punishment for the hubris of elfkind, but you don't know much about that.

Go'lak, he did not die a good death. Sar'zor is poison, and if you let him into your clan, you'll come to regret it.”

“So if he's so bad, why is he a lieutenant? Why would the Goatfoot chieftain trust a man like that?” Zo'rok asks, earning another snarl from Ya'zada. Seems the two of them aren't going to be getting along all that well.

“How should I know how those Goatfoots think. Maybe they look up to him because of it, maybe they just don't care. So Ur, what is your decision?”

“Enough. I won't decide this here,” you growl.

Ya'zada looks ready to say something, this is clearly a touchy subject for her.

“...but Ya'zada, if I meet this Sar'zor and he feels as bad to me as you say he is, I will give you a duel with him to resolve this once and for all.”

That puts her back down, and Ya'zada nods, grinning that same grin you remember from your duel. “Good, I'll cut him down in front of his whole cowardly clan.”

You sigh, seems your new lieutenant has already decided you're going to hate Sar'zor. For now though, you need to prepare for your ambush. To do that, you need to know when the Goatfoot clan are breaking camp, and which way they're going, so how will you do that?

“The Goatfoot Clan has no magic users, right?” you ask, figuring that Ya'zada could confirm it for sure.

“They did, we killed their shaman four years ago. Never had to worry about magic from them since.”

You nod, gesturing for Ashuris to join you.

Ya'zada eyes the ogress strangely, you wonder if she's ever even seen an ogress witch before.

“This is Ashuris, one of my personal slaves,” you grin, giving the ogress a squeeze on her sizeable ass as she steps up next to you. Ashuris gives you an annoyed look, but makes no attempt to remove your hand.

“Ashuris, can the coven use its magic to watch the Goatfoot camp, and tell us when they start to move?”

Your witch sniffs, proud expression set into place even as you continue to squeeze her buttock. “Of course, Ylugri's power is still strong in our veins, that would be simple. However we will need to be undisturbed to maintain it, so if, chieftain, you could keep any orcs from pawing at us while we work, that would be appreciated.”

“Of course, Ashuris, wouldn't want any orcs pawing at you,” you smirk, giving the ogress' rear one last squeeze before you send her on her way.

Ya'zada gives an impressed whistle as your witch walks away. “Strong and magical, and you claimed her, you've got to tell me that story someday.”

You grin, “perhaps I'll have Ashuris tell you herself someday, or show you.”

(cont)
>>
>>37069017
Your allies all go their separate ways to mingle around the camp, the ogresses picking out a quiet spot to sit in a circle and chant their guttural words, before falling silent.

It is several hours later before they stop, Ashuris rising up to speak with you, rubbing at her stiff muscles.

“It's done, they're moving, heading south slowly. If we leave now you can cut them off.” she explains.

You nod, calling up the assembled forces and setting out.

The Stormhowlers look eager, perhaps too eager, even after you explain to them that you are not attacking the Goatfoot clan unless they force you to.

It is an hours walk circling around ahead of the Goatfoots before Ashuris raises a hand, “we're close, they'll come from that way.”

You nod, now the question is, how do you prepare this ambush to force diplomacy, and keep the slippery Goatfoot clan from escaping or turning the tables?

You pick out a good spot for an ambush, lots of uneven rocky ground for cover, and for the coven to work with.

You outline your plan to them, and they get to work shifting earth, reshaping rock, ensuring that your warriors will be harder to spot. It's far from their finest work, and you suspect that they are still a little tired from several hours of maintaining the spell watching the Goatfoot clan, but it should be serviceable provided your clanmates can use it properly.

You hear some grumbles from the Stormhowlers about hiding, but a few stern words from you, and a couple of slaps round the back of the head from Ya'zada seems to get them into line. Thankfully while the Stormhowlers prove to be a little too big and a little too unsubtle to hide well on their own, your choice to bring the veteran Rockbrute hunters pays off as they and your two lieutenants do the rounds of the Stormhowlers, helping them get properly hidden.

You don't have to wait long before the first Goatfoot orcs appear, though it's hard spotting them amongst the rocks. Their armor is as odd as Zo'rok described it, patched up from animal hides and covered in dust, complete with hoods or animal skulls atop the head, it seems like the armor was made for equal parts intimidation, and to blend in amongst the dusty wasteland.

You wait in your hiding place, expecting at any moment for the Goatfoot Clan to spot you, but they don't, it is not until they are deep within your ambush that you see one of the crag lions start to sniff the air, snarling.

Now or never, Ur.

(cont)
>>
>>37069988
You leap from your hiding place with a roar, your clanmates following. It seems Ya'zada's view of the Goatfoots as cowards was not entirely accurate, as they don't scatter or panic at your sudden ambush, closing up into a cramped formation, their young and weak protected at the center, weapons ready.

The Stormhowlers shout and roar, trying to goad the Goatfoot clan into a fight, but the Goatfoots are staying unmoving, quiet save for the occasional muttered word between them, impossible for you to hear.

Now is the time to make your case, because even if you convinced the Stormhowlers not to attack straight out, you aren't sure it will last.

You step up to the front of your warriors, taking a deep breath and letting your voice boom out, drowning out the shouts and roars of the Stormhowlers.

“Goatfoot Clan, I am Ur'shal, chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan. The Rockbrutes and the Stormhowlers now fight in my name. I would see the orcish people brought back to glory, no longer killing each other over old feuds in a dusty wasteland. Now, where is your chieftain?”

There is some more muttering from the group, and a pair of orcs step out to the front. One is old and wizened, face drawn and scarred, his gnarled hands rest on a pair of wicked, curved daggers at his belt. Next to him stands a far younger and larger orc, tall and proud, a handaxe held casually in one hand. You hear a low growl in Ya'zada's throat, her eyes fixed on the younger orc, who returns her look of loathing with one entirely devoid of any real emotion, one eyebrow quirked slightly as her malevolent gaze. That would be Sar'zor then, you can't say he looks particularly unusual to you, but then again you haven't spoken to him yet.

It is the wizened old orc who speaks with a voice like gravel.

“Here I am, chieftain, is it a duel you're looking for, or did you just want to look me in the eyes before you had your Stormhowler dogs cut us down? If you're hoping for me to bend the knee, I'm afraid I'm getting a little too old for that, I may not be able to stand again.”

You frown, the Goatfoot chieftain doesn't seem particularly impressed by your display, though he could just be hiding it well.

“What I want, Goatfoot Chieftain, is for your clan to join with me, none of us will benefit from a bloodbath here-”

Ya'zada noticeably growls, as to several of the other Stormhowlers, but you silence her with a glare as you continue.

“-instead I offer you the chance to serve my clan, and to end this feud once and for all.”

(cont)
>>
>>37070931
“I do not think this is a feud that can be resolved as easily as you suggest, Stonetusk Chieftain. Too many of our clan have died at Stormhowler hands,” the ancient orc replies, fingers drumming against the handles of his daggers.

“and many of them have died at yours. This feud will be over one way or another tonight, I promise you that.”

“Very well then, Stonetusk Chieftain, I do not wish to fight the Stormhowlers forever. I'm sure my clanmates would take great pleasure in watching the shaman Lor'gul die for his crimes against our clan. Perhaps then the healing can begin.”

“You dare to speak of crimes when your lieutenant stands beside you, how many Stormhowlers has he tortured and mutilated for his pleasure,” Ya'zada roars.

“Those were warriors, they should expect to suffer, that is what warriors do. Was it warriors that Lor'gul burned when your dead mate attacked our camp ten years ago?”

“Lor'gul was not aiming for your whelps, perhaps if you cowards had met us on the open field he would not have had to turn his fire on your camp.”

This is getting nowhere, and it seems like the Stormhowlers are getting riled up, and the Goatfoot clan don't look much happier.

Order a duel of Ya'zada vs Sar'zor and another of Lor'gul vs a Goatfoot orc of their choosing

Let's kick off this fight already. What a waste of a good ambush this was.
>>
>>37071022
Just give them 2 weapons that are exactly the same. Or let them do a grappling fight
>>
>>37070953
>Lor'gul burned when your dead mate attacked
This means it was Go'lak that attacked, and he is dead at the hands of Sar'zor, his death shall be price for the shaman's sins.
Sar'zor shall duel Ya'zada, and after that, the feud shall be over.
>>37071028
I doubt Lor'gul is much of a fighter.
>>
So it seems some kids were burned to death by the shaman.
>>
>>37071058
Yeah, this really does seem logical, I mean the Stormhowlers' chief died, and that is pretty severe.

Sound logic.

Let's just assure them we dont expect them to like each other, or bury the hatchet overnight. We'll seperate their orcs from each other for the most part in camp, but will work together when put to a task. Maybe rib the goatfoot at how their constant warring weakened them that We ambushed them, the same as we'd matched the stormhowlers in a straight up fight. Shame for both to let a lesson sink in.

>Wrong has been done on both sides. Therefore, there will be one last duel between the chieftains of the feuding clans, and that will be the end of it. Since the Goatfoot is too old, his lieutenant Sar'zor with stand for him against Ya'zada. Both champions will use steel axes to ensure the fight is fair. Grappling is allowed, but no other weapons. By request of Ya'zada, the combatants will fight to the death. Is this acceptable?
>>
>>37071408
Yes, our best friend and our mate.

The two people in our clan LEAST likely to turn on us.
And if the stormhowlers don't like us, all we have to do is bash a head or two in. If the goat foots (goat feet?) don't like us, we'd have to screen all our food, and even then we wouldn't have anyone specific to punish.
>>
>So to settle this once and for all there is only one solution: an authentic Orcish duel! But we want to see which ORC is the better, not which weapon is, so it shall be a grappling fight. This ensures that the best Orc will win, or the one backed by the gods. Ya'zada is our champion, who is yours? Or are you too cowardly to settle this is an honest way?!
>>

>The Goatfoot clan's reason for hate, is the death of their children at the hand of the Stormhowler shaman.
>The Stormhowler clan's reason for hate is the death of their chief, at the hands of [I don't remember].
>The latter cost them their best warrior and chief, a great loss.
>I shall judge that that, together with the shaman's punishment, which is that he shall burn himself tonight, will be enough for their actions.
>And for the death of their Chief, [whoever] shall duel their previous chief, Ya'zada, to let them decide his fate.
>And with this, the feud shall end tonight.
It may be better to duel their guy ourselves as we are the current chief of the Stormhowler people.
>>
>>37071430
Yes.
I agree with you.
We need to train some stealthy types.
However, coercing the stealthy types into joining us is practically asking for a knife in the back.
>>
>>37071487
Nah, they can fight, that's okay, I doubt their guy is much better than us and we won because of our superior weapon, if we give them equal weapons it should be fine.
>>
>>37071469
The same can be done of the storm howls, hell the rock brute can do that as well.
Hell we have a god of stealth, most of our info comes from people like them, hell the ones they attack wont be us, but the stormhowls.
>>
>>37071277
Tell them that the shaman shall be punished for what he has wrought and te blood feud between yzada and the orc shall be settled today, as for the chieftan challenge him to a duel.
>>
“Enough,” you roar. Ya'zada and Or'kug both going silent.

“It was Go'lak who ordered the attack on your camp, and you have had your revenge for that. Sar'zor has still to answer for his. There should be a duel between Ya'zada and Sar'zor to resolve this. Once the duel is over, you will join my clan. I do not expect your two clans to become friends, you will be kept separate, but you will both fight for me, and I will bring you both glory.”

Ya'zada gives a pleased growl as she locks eyes with Sar'zor.

The younger Goatfoot finally speaks. “I committed no crimes. Fear is one of the greatest of weapons,as Zol'gor Tor teaches us.”

You frown, you think you can see a little of what unnerved your clanmates about Sar'zor before, his voice is flat, monotone, even facing the duel, he seems utterly unconcerned, as if all of this is happening to someone else.

You see Or'kug tap a finger on his chin.

“I accept your suggestion, on one condition. Go'lak died for his own crimes, not for Lor'gul's. If Ya'zada can challenge Sar'zor to a duel, then I request the same right to challenge Lor'gul.”

Sar'zor gives a blank stare at his chieftain, you get the feeling he wasn't expecting Or'kug to go along with this. Still, this isn't exactly what you wanted. You doubt Ya'zada will be overly happy about this duel, though you have no idea of the capabilities of Lor'gul or Or'kug.

Lor'gul for his part is looking as gloomy as ever, but hasn't said a word during this whole encounter, even when he was accused.

What now?

>a slave debt to gather x*y slaves x being orc baby's and women killed in the raid, y being a slaves worth compared to an orc

>>
>>37072056

>>
You frown, you think you preferred the previous conquest over this one, at least it was simple, but you have to balance the egos of these two clans for now, at least until you have the properly under your control.

“Lor'gul, you have been accused of burning children and challenged to a duel, have you anything to say?”

The young shaman folds his arms.

“I never intended to kill children, but the magics of Kul'zog Zor are not always easy to direct. I apologise for nothing I did for my brother, Go'lak, and I will happily end this weakling old man's life for Ya'zada.”

You find it interesting that he said for Ya'zada, rather than for you, his new chieftain. Perhaps the shaman's loyalties did not switch over, even when his chieftain's did.

“Very well then, Ya'zada will duel Sar'zor, Or'kug will duel Lor'gul, and whatever the outcome of these duels, we shall consider this matter closed, and both your clans will join mine, do you accept?”

Ya'zada doesn't even hesitate to agree, it seems she's only holding herself back from throwing herself into battle with Sar'zor right now out of respect for you.

After a few moments, Or'kug also nods. “Yes, I agree, even should I die, I vow that my clan shall be yours, chieftain Ur'shal.”

Now all that remains is the duels themselves.

>So, do you wish to actually run through either of the duels actively?

>Be Sar'zor

The clans quickly clear a space for the combatants, and you lay out a selection of steel weapons, you won't have anyone claim these duels are unfair, you let Sar'zor pick one to face Ya'zada's new steel battleaxe, and the orc picks out a handaxe and a shield, setting aside his own axe.

Ya'zada grins, axe slung over her shoulder as she steps into the arena, Sar'zor pacing in from the other side slowly, handaxe swinging in his grip.

“No escape now, Sar'zor, I'll see you dead for what you've done,” she snarls.

Sar'zor shrugs, raising his axe and shield. “Perhaps.”

Ya'zada roars, launching herself at the Goatfoot orc, who meets her first blow on his shield. Ya'zada hammers blows against it, and you see the emotionless Sar'zor start to wince as his shield cracks. He tries to deflect her attacks, to find an opening, and you have to admit that Sar'zor is certainly no weakling, he knows what he's doing, he's quick and adaptable.

(cont)
>>
>>37073003
Despite that, Ya'zada is stronger, and a more experienced fighter to boot. Sar'zor's shield goes flying in splinters with one heavy blow, the Goatfoot lieutenant stumbling from the force of the attack. Ya'zada follows it up by kicking him heavily in the knee, dropping him to the ground, his axe slipping from his fingers.

“No escape now, Sar'zor,” she repeats, swinging her axe back.

Sar'zor raises his head, staring up at Ya'zada, a calm expression still on his face. “When I killed Go'lak, he begged me not to do it. He died like a coward.”

Ya'zada roars, bringing the axe down on his neck, severing his head in a single heavy stroke. Sar'zor's body falls to the dust, head rolling away, that same utterly calm expression still on his face even in death. The crowd erupts into cheers and roars, though the Goatfoot clanmembers don't look quite so happy with proceedings.

Ya'zada stalks back out of the arena to where you stand.

“That was not as satisfying as I had hoped,” she mutters to you as she disappears to the back of the crowd.

“Poor Sar'zor, he had a lot of valuable skills that might have helped you, chieftain. Nevermind, my turn now I believe, bring out Lor'gul, let's see if I've got one more good fight left in me,” Or'kug sighs.

Since Lor'gul has magic, you don't even bother trying to figure out how to make this duel fair, just letting the two combatants step into the ring with what they're wielding.

Lor'gul carries in a staff of bone and strangely-twisted and charred stone in one hand, a solid club in the other. Or'kug walks in with those two curved daggers still at his belt.

“Been a long time since I've been in one of these,” Or'kug grunts, eyeing the crowd.

The ancient chieftain pulls his two daggers from his belt, twirling them in his gnarled hands with practiced ease.

“One more fight for Zol'gor Tor then. Try not to embarrass yourself in front of the god of blades, boy.”

Lor'gul snorts. “Don't speak to me about gods old man, I know more of the gods than you ever will.”

“Begin” you roar.

Lor'gul raises his staff high, chanting the same archaic orcish tongue you've heard Ku'zag utter on occasion. You feel a chill for a split second, then a sudden wave of heat as fire arcs from Lor'gul's staff, scarring a charred path through the dust straight for Or'kug.

The ancient chieftain moves with a grace you would not have expected from an orc half his age, leaping to the side of the fire, hissing as the edges of the flame lick against his arm, blistering the flesh.

Or'kug seems to be on the defensive, his daggers not much use against the waves of fire Lor'gul sweeps across the arena. The young shaman is far from subtle or imaginative, but he's got a lot of raw power, no denying that.

This goes on for some time, and you start to think that Or'kug will be worn down, his skin a patchwork of burns and blistering from all his near misses, yet still he continues to duck and weave, to evade Lor'gul's magic.

(cont)
>>
>>37073592
You can see the young shaman starting to become enraged at Or'kug's evasiveness, sweat pouring down his brow at the strain of his magic.

“Stand still you old coward,” Lor'gul screams, breaking his chants in frustration.

That seems to be all it takes, and you see a slight grin twitch up the corner of Or'kug's shrivelled features as he spins in place. He closes the distance to the young shaman in the blink of an eye, curved blades flashing and slicing. Lor'gul roars in pain as Or'kug's blade severs through the meat and muscle of his forearm, making him drop his staff. Even as Lor'gul tries to bring his club to bear, the other blade slashes across his throat, the young shaman's eyes going wide with shock as he collapses to the ground, clawing at his bloody neck.

Or'kug watches him silently the whole time Lor'gul bleeds out, until he finally goes still. Then the wizened orc turns away, returning to his side of the arena.

“I'm getting too old to fight magic men,” he grumbles.

With that, he turns to face you.

“It's done then. I promised you my clan's loyalty, and you have it. I only hope you can prove that you deserve to keep it.”

Hurrah! Thanks for the thread, Warlord. Shame about the young shaman, though.

Well fuck, we lost the mage. Hopefully we can get Or'kug to train some of our students though, that was pretty ballin' shit.

We need to see if we can get our shaman to train some new shamans. We really need more magic users.

Goodnight anon, glad you enjoyed the thread.
>>
>>37073636
thanks for running, are there any assets aside from man power we earned from the clans? or is that all coming up next thread?
>>
>>37073687
time skip would be needed.
>>
>>37073705
Unfortunately neither clan had much in the way of interesting equipment, if that's what you're asking. Aside from Or'kug's daggers, which he'll probably want to keep, and Lor'gul's staff.

Also you gained a dozen trained Crag Lions, so there's that.
>>
>>37073636
Now that we have the two clans under our control, what are options as to how to proceed? Should we spank that dragon? Deal with the tongue rippers? Raid that Harpy colony?
>>
This went rather well, even though some anons were shadow running.
>>37073740
What would the casualties have been if everything went to shit?
>>
Thanks for the thread Lordy, happy new year.

Ogretits best tits.
>>
>>37073751
I want to get the mount clan before anything, than we can think on what to do next.
>>
>>37073686
These things happen, plenty more spellcasters out there. Glad you enjoyed the thread anyway.

>>37073751
All of those are viable options, you also have the Skyhunter Clan in the mountains to look into.

>>37073755
It would have been messy. You would have won, but the Goatfoot clan wouldn't have surrendered, and the Stormhowlers wouldn't have accepted it if they'd tried.

Worst case scenario, entire Goatfoot Clan dead, and Stormhowlers (and your own warriors) seriously reduced in number.
>>
>>37073781
Jesus, i'm glad we got them on our side.

we conquered these clans only for one reason, chocolate elves.

Is Ya'zada still in the mood for some loving from Ur'shal? I suspect that her fight with Sar'zor has bummed her out a little.

Nah mate, not yet, we won't get mages for a long time, and we won't be getting a years-long timeskip this early.
>>37073751
>spank the dragon
lolno, we're still weak as shit
I say deal with Tonguerippers later, first we work on integrating the clans somewhat, get the boys rolling again.
We go back to our camp, tell the good news, stay there a bit.
Get the harpies and the orcs to the north.
Eventually we go further south, raid some stuff, maybe get another clan, then kill the Tonguerippers, get the antiabyssal god's blessing.

>>
>>37073803
Mate, she's been waiting for 6 years.
No shitty fight will put her out of THAT mood.
>>37073800
And to more than triple our numbers.
Next we go home, then chocolate elves, then Skyhunter clan, then Tongueripper extermination.

She did seem pretty unhappy, who knows though, perhaps a good hard dicking is just what she needs to improve her mood.

So, was the clan priest of the blade god, and the storm howl priest of the fire god?
>>
>>37073929
Oh my, what a wonderful surprise!
>>37073955
Stormhowl guy was a shaman, not a priest.
Goatfoot guy may have been on his way, I guess?
>>

>>37073871

Yeh i make blatant smut demands on his ask.

Ashuris + orcish mates fivesome smut here we come!
>>
>>37073955
None of them were priests. The Stormhowlers favor the fire god and the Goatfoots favor the blade god, but all the clans actually had were shamans, both of whom are now dead.

Now Or'kug is an example of a non-magical orc with enough favor with an orcish god that he started getting boons for it, as Ur'shal is starting to.
>>
>>37074012
I make those too.
first night with fertility blessing, Pia smut, and more stuff with our harem here.
>>
>>37074028
>as Ur'shal is starting to
Kek, except our boon is from Y'zagya Zoka only so far.
Or is it?!
I guess we might get another dream tonight, we did do pretty well, just not in any way very related to a god I think.
>>
I like that we killed the necromancer and got the shaman killed. It keeps ogre tits as MVP in our magic department.
>>
>>37074073
Necromancer was a bitch, fuck that guy.
The shaman is a shame, but he has only himself to blame, we gave him the chance to win.
>>
>>37074097
Necromancer wasn't a bitch. He was chilling with his undead in a cave when a couple of orcs who were up to no good started making trouble in his neighborhood.
>>
>>37074097
Necromancer was kind of an interesting one. He wasn't quite as antagonistic as I think people thought he was, he just had some very odd ideas on the best way to safe orckind.

Shame I didn't get to expand upon his backstory, but there'll be plenty more interesting characters to come.
>>
>>37074073
ogretits is mvp slave.

>>37074028
If ashuris keeps performing could she ever be elevated to proper mate status? or is a loved slave like the rockbrute chief and his harpy the best she can hope for?
>>
>>37074149
Mates are orcs only. Of course if you like a slave enough, the difference is really only semantics.
>>
>>37074146
I don't suppsoe we could have Rasha entertain our new clanmates when we get the chance?
>>

Loved slave best she can hope for.
We should probably deliver on that thing where we let Rasha rest and mindbreak her ourselves so we can assign her to someone as a personal slave possibly to us.
I'm really looking forward to some pic related though.
>>
>>37074208
He came from a clan who's chieftain had big ideas about reuniting the clans and conquering the lands beyond the wall, as Ur does.

Unfortunately it all went to shit as the clan collapsed into infighting and backstabbing, convincing the necromancer that most orcs are inherently flawed. He wanted to maintain a ruling caste of intelligent undead orcish warriors who had proven themselves capable of wisdom (which was what he was considering for Ur, he thought he was doing you a favor), and a vast mindless undead horde beneath them.

If you'd recruited him, it would have been a matter of persuading him that orcish culture still had value and that he didn't have to go full army of darkness on everyone to fix it.

>>37074216
Yes, completely and utterly.
>>
>>37074262
Yeah I agree, let her rest and get some privileges, she's wasted as a communal slave anyway, her mindbreak is going slow as shit, would be faster to do it ourselves.
>>
>>37074256
He's gained a lot of skills over the years, no doubt about it.
>>
>>37074307
>tfw we could have had our own army of undead hordes
>>
>>37074333
Honestly, I'm hestitant to make her our slave because that would look a little too power hungry to our regular warriors at this point. We take the only current non-human communal slave away for ourselves? Ehh. Although, offset that by giving somebody Ashuris can actually get along with in our harem is kind of a plus.
>>
>>37074333
nah, just give her to the stormhowlers/
>>
I'm okay with the new orc mate, but fuck off, with taking the red head, when we already have Ash.
>>
>>37074369
I mean, we're gonna go get some more slaves soon-ish anyway.
In relatively close proximity, there's still harpies, humans, and elves to enslave.
>>
>>37074333
Why not give her to the Goatfoot chief? Something to keep him and her happy. Of course broach the subject first to gauge reactions.
>>
Lordy, you said basically all named females are intended as harem members for Ur, is that true for the witches as well, you planned for them to be ours?
>>37074416
Goatfoot chief is almost definitely infertile, we are not going to let good ogre wombs go to waste.
>>
>>37074407
Then lets claim Rasha as our own soon-ish. I've dealt with enough bosses taking benefits claiming my own were coming soon-ish.
>>
>>37074416
Ehhhh... I think the goatfoot chieftain might be too old for that kind of shenanigans
>>
>>37074435
>Lordy, you said basically all named females are intended as harem members for Ur, is that true for the witches as well, you planned for them to be ours?

Not really, I expected you to claim one of them, if you didn't kill them, which it seemed like people were strongly considering for a while.
>>
>>37074437
Okay, I mean I expect we'll relieve her of cumdumpster duty for a while anyway, so how about she does well on a raid where we get some good women, and then we claim her?
I mean, if you weren't being sarcastic, that is. I don't have any particularly strong feelings on the subject, I just want to fuck her at least once and not have her as the clan bicycle, she's worth more than that.
>>
>>37074463
Is the gotfoot cheif still ready to bat, agiasnt another womb?
>>
>>37074435
>>37074439
Like I said bring it up in passing to gauge reactions, taking Rasha for ourselves may be a bit greedy looking, giving one to him would be a token gesture of respect and keep her from being a fuckslut 24/7 making her happier. She can't act without her sisters and by this point Ashurisis pretty thoroughly in our corner as is Blondie.

>>37074463
The chief too old to sire children warlord?
>>
>>37074504
>>37074437
Fuck claiming, her lets give her as a reward.
>>
>>37074522
Claiming her would be a reward to Rasha, just saying.
>>
>>37074504
Is she though? Having a hot ogre witch communal slave is a symbol. \you have enough hot ogre witches that you don't need to mate all of them. It makes us look cool and strong, powerful and dominant not only over weak puny humans but also ogres. Creatures most orcs probably consider stronger fiercer and harder to control creatures. We gonna need symbols to inspire a kingdom mang.
>>
>>37074505
>>37074513
Or'kug is apparently still capable, the benefits of maintaining an active orcish lifestyle is that it stops them losing their sex drive as they age. Whether he's interested in more women than the mate he currently has is another matter entirely.
