You are Captain WILLIAM PIERCE, a combat rescue officer of the United States Air Force.

"Good news, Captain." Kelsey grins as you enter his office.

"Is the war over, sir?" You ask.

"Not quite!" Kelsey barks in laughter. "But I probably have the second best thing. The brass finally cleared you for frontline operations. Starting tomorrow, you'll be transferred out to our forward base in Wonsan."

"That's great news, sir." You smile, wondering if Kelsey knew of the black op you did for Anderson or not. He so far gave no indication that he did. "Things have been getting pretty dull here lately."

"I'm sure they are. I'm almost getting used to a Tokyo with no air raid sirens." Kelsey chuckles. "But now that you're officially on the roster, I've got requests for you deployment from all over the damn peninsula."

"The curse of popularity." You roll your eyes.

"Indeed." Kelsey drops a trio of folders down on the desk in front of you. "I've filtered out the tasks that could be handled by other units. These are what you got."

You shuffle through the three folders. One was a request by the IJA. They've been sending small squads of elite soldiers into rural areas to weed out PLA and KPA remnants. Of course, they've taken casualties which they need evacuated. Nothing too pressing, besides the fact that the area had a high risk of MANPADS, which is why regular CASEVAC wouldn't go near it.

The second mission detailed supporting Navy SEALs in cutting supply and communications lines between Korea and Vladivostok. You were tasked with staying on station in case the SEALs needed CASEVAC or if their planned extraction was busted.

The third folder, however had a huge CLASSIFIED stamp on it. There was only one paper inside, vaguely mentioning a rescue mission into Siberia. You suspect you wouldn't be getting any more details unless you actually accepted the mission.

"So what's this rescue op?" You say, waving the CLASSIFIED folder in the air.

"Ah, that one was submitted by our mutual friend, Colonel Anderson." Kelsey leans back in his chair. "Back before the war, the Army had a number of Special Forces teams inserted into Southeast Asia for 'reconnaissance' purposes. Most of these teams were stationed on the Chinese border to monitor their movements and provide advance warning of any potential attacks."

You wince. They would've been the first guys hit by the Chinese advance.

Kelsey sees the look on your face and nods.

"A mass Chinese attack was always a possibility, so there were always plans for rapid extraction." Kelsey explains. "Most of the teams got out, but one didn't."

"And let me guess. The Chinese handed them over to Russia." You narrow your eyes.

"That's correct." Kelsey nods. "Intel we received from captured PLA officers indicates that they were taken to a Russian prison in eastern Siberia. No official references to it, but everybody who knows of it calls it 'The Gulag.'"

Boy, that sounded like an inviting place.

"You'll be assaulting the prison with a team of SEALs. Now, of course, none of them are trained medical personnel, and we have no idea the condition of the team. They might be perfectly healthy, they might be injured or malnourished, or... well... at least we'd be able to account for the bodies."

You nod grimly.

(cont)
>>
>>37322443
"How many prisoners are we talking about?"

"The team itself consisted of four members. Three men and one witch. However, there's the distinct possibility that the Gulag is holding other allied prisoners. Though the SF team is the priority, you are to rescue other prisoners if at all possible."

"Don't need to tell me that." You grunt. "Enemy resistance?"

"Since it's in the middle of Siberia, we don't have to worry to much about AA en route, but the prison itself is going to have a lot of local resistance. At least a platoon of highly trained troops. Now, Anderson has two alternate versions of the plan."

"Of course, he thinks of everything."

"The Gulag is in the middle of Russian territory, and in the middle of Siberia. That's a lot of ground to cover without resupply, so plan one is to keep the group small. Just you and the insertion team. Less chance of discovery and less things that can go wrong. Second plan is bring every asset you have and just straight up assault the Gulag head on. It's the easiest, most direct method, but of course, a lot can go wrong."

"We'll do this quiet." You say. "A loud raid can just get all the prisoners killed."

"That's what I was thinking, too." Kelsey nods. "I'll have your witches and Comanche on air patrol to provide support if needed, but be warned, it'll take a while for them to reach you if you do call for them."

"Got it, sir." You nod. So this would be a small operation for you. Just the Ghost Hawk crew and Red and Rex to worry about.

"Now, you technically don't have command authority over the SEALs, but considering you're PJs, and your personal reputation, they will definitely listen to whatever you say."

"I'm sure." You nod. "Do we know anything about the Gulag?"

"Fortunately, our man on the inside, Sirius, provided us a detailed blueprint of the prison." Kelsey shows you a map. You take a quick look, showing what looks to be an old castle, with the central keep having been converted into a prison block."

"The SEALs have already been planning this for weeks now. All you need to do is follow them in." Kelsey says.

"Got it." You nod. "When do we leave?"

"Tonight. So you better get moving." Kelsey grunts.

"Roger that." You salute and exit the office. You consider what to do in the meantime.

You decide to give Laika a visit. You head over to the XF-19 hangar, where you see her already suited up, no doubt about to go out on another test run.

"Willy!" Laika says cheerfully as she bounces up and down in her wheelchair. "Wanna see me fly?!"

"Sorry, Laika, I got work to do." You say sadly as you pat her on the head. "Big mission and everything."

"Oh! Oh! Can I come too?!" She asks excited.

"No, Laika, this one we need to be stealthy." You chuckle. "You know, sometimes we DON'T want people to know we're coming."

"Aaaaaaaaw." Laika frowns. "How about if you're in trouble? Can I come, then?"

"I will." You chuckle and ruffle Laika's hair.

"Laika!" You hear Sokolov call out. "We're all ready! Come over so we can load up!"

"Okay! Coming!" Laika says.

You help wheel Laika over to the waiting XF-19, where Sokolov greets you.

"Wish I could, but I have mission to go on." You sigh.

"Hey Sokolov, what do you know about this 'Sirius' guy? The one that helped us extract you?" You ask. Considering Sokolov had also been in contact with him, you assume he at least knew something about the mysterious informant.

"Nothing much, I'm afraid." Sokolov sighs. "But he has to be highly placed, to be able to get information on highly secure facilities without arousing suspicion. I presume that he's affiliated with the KGB. They've always had a rivalry with GRU, and Sirius seemingly had no reservations leaking GRU secrets. Then again, it's all guesswork, really."

"I see." You nod. "Anyways, don't let me keep you. You got important tests to do, right?"

"Always." Sokolov nods.

You then head over to your own hangar, where your flight crew is sprucing up the Ghost Hawk, as usual.

"All right, everybody, pack it up!" You bark. "We got a mission tonight! I want us ready to fly within the hour!"

"I got a bad feeling about this, boss." Bullseye frowns. "Where are going exactly?"

"Classified." You say.

"Aw fuck." Bullseye shakes his head.

"G-going into enemy territory?" Ghost asks as she pokes her head out from behind Rex.

"That's right." You nod and turn to Janice. "Sorry, Janice, but you and the witches are going to have to sit this one out. We have to keep things small this time."

"Sorry, we can't risk it." You shake your head. "This mission requires stealth. You and the others can be on standby to come in and assist if we need it."

"Except the closest we can be is on the ocean, while you're going to be who knows how far inland..."

"Don't worry, Janice." You put a hand on her shoulder. "I still got Red, Rex, and a whole team of SEALs to keep an eye on us. We'll be fine."

"If you say so." Janice crosses her arms, unconvinced.

"It'll be fine." You give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "If things go right, you won't even have to come in at all."

"I hope so." Janice sighs.

"Captain, good to see you."

You turn to see Anderson and a team of Navy SEALs walking into the hangar.

"Colonel. What brings you here?" You ask.

"Thought I'd introduce you to the men you'll be tagging along with." Anderson gestures to the SEALs. "This here is SEAL Team Six's Gold Squadron, led by Commander Pliskin."

"You mean like from-"

"No, it's just a coincidence." Commander Pliskin grunts. "I suggest you not mention it."

"Or else he'll probably put a bullet in you." Anderson adds.

"Duly noted." You nod.

"Well, Commander, this is my team who will be following you in. Including me, here is on mf my witches, Lieutnenant Rachel Kelsey, and Flight Officer Rex Bishop."

"Hey man, does that mean you're related to Rex Bishop?" One of the SEALs asks.

"And if you're a witch, why are you wearing pants?" Asks another.

"Any of you mention those two subjects again, and I'll probably put a bullet in you." Red grunts, echoing Anderson's earlier words."

It takes a few minutes for the SEALs to dig up a fresh uniform and set of gear for Tarin which she quickly changes into, making sure to bring along her usual collection of knives and other bladed instruments.

And with that, your Ghost Hawk takes off into the night along with a pair of Phrogs, with one holding the the SEALs and the second reserved for rescued prisoners.

"All right. "Anderson says over the radio. "We're timing our approach to coincide with a heavy blizzard in order to minimize detection. I don't have to tell you that we're going have low visibility, lower temperatures, and lots of turbulence. You think you can handle it?"

You glance at Bullseye, who rolls his eyes. You know he could obviously handle weather conditions, but he definitely wasn't looking forward to it.

And that wasn't even beginning to touch on the skill level of the Phrog pilots.

"We'll make do." You grunt.

"Roger that." Anderson nods.

What follows is a long trek through darkness and snow. You note with some concern of the snow and ice building up on the Ghost Hawk's windshield, and Rex and Hoskins make sure to keep the side doors closed in order to retain at least some heat inside the craft.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuck it's cold!" Red shivers. "How the hell do the Russians live out here?"

"They don't." Rex grunts. "There's a reason why all their prisons are out here."

"How are you doing, Tarin?" You ask, your teeth unconsciously chattering from the cold..

"Doing fine." Tarin says, seemingly unaffected by the low temperature at all.

"We'll be landing here." Anderson announces. "Just home in on our beacons."

The Ghost Hawk follows the two Phrogs down behind a small hill, which provides some shelter from the howling wind. You step out and are hit in the face full force with a blast of icy wind.

"Fuck, man!" Red curse. "Fuck fuck fuck! It's even colder than Alaska!"

"Suck it up, Red." You pat her on the back. "Not every mission is a tropical cruise."

"I know, but fuck!" Red curses and turns to Tarin. "How the hell do you do it?"

"Experience." Tarin says simply. "Shields also help to retain warmth, too."

"Fuck, why didn't I think of that." Red facepalms.

Your little group walks up to the rear of one of the Phrogs, where Anderson has set up a small, impromptu command post.

"Colonel." You yell over the howling wind. "What's the plan?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out." Anderson yells back. "The Gulag is just over this hill. We can try making our way down there on foot, but we'd have to get past their perimeter defenses. However, Pliskin here as a riskier idea."

"What we can do." Pliskin speaks up. "Is to load up in the Ghost Hawk. With its stealth capability, as well as this blizzard covering us, I think we might be able to land directly in the prison without being detected!"

"Very ballsy pan." Tarin says.

"VERY ballsy." Rex agrees.

"Well, when did ballsy ever fail us?" You nod. "We'll do it. The Ghost Hawk should be able to barely fit all of the SEALs."

"All right. Once you've secured the prisoners, signal us." Anderson says. "Primary LZ is the central compound, with the secondary being on the roof. If neither is possible, then you'll have to hoof it a safe distance away from the Gulag before we can pick you up."

"Got it." You nod. "All right, everybody pile in."

---

"You want me to do WHAT?!" Bullseye's eyes widen in shock and surprise.

"You heard me." You point. "Land in the courtyard like you own the place. Lights off, of course. Hopefully the guards won't see us."

"Hopefully." Bullseye repeats. "This is such a stupid idea."

"Which is why it'll work!" Red grins.

"Don't worry. They won't be keeping many guards outside in this weather, anyways." Pliskin tries to assure him.

"Yeah, sure, whatever." Bullseye grunts and pulls down his nightvision goggles. "Just hold on your butts."

Through your own nightvision goggles, you could see Bullseye carefully lining up a landing in the courtyard, which was easier said than done thanks to the high winds continually buffeting and pushing the Ghost Hawk around. One particularly powerful burst nearly pushes the tail rotor into the perimeter wall, with Bullseye recover at the last second. Finally, you feel the Ghost Hawk's landing gear touch down on the ground.

"All right, go go go!" Pliskin hisses as he leaps out the doors. Team 1 to the left! Team 2 to the right!"

You, Red, Tarin, and Rex quickly follow suit. After you confirm with Hoskins that all the SEALs are off, you give the signal to Bullseye to take off. No sense in him sticking around here to be detected.

You then turn and jog after the rest of the SEALs, who have all taken cover behind a low wall. You nearly trip over a large pile of snow. A large, man-sized pile of snow.

"Bad time to take a piss." Pliskin remarks, confirming what you suspected.

"Okay, what do we do from here?" You ask.

"We got some options." Pliskin says. "Team 1 is the primary breaching force. We'll be assaulting the main prison block to liberate the prisoners. Team 2 will provide the distraction. Now, of course, you folks will be tagging along with Team 1. We're just figuring out what Team 2 will hit."

"What are the targets?" You ask.

"Well, over there are the barracks." Pliskin points to the left. "Most of the garrison should be bunked by now, so if we blitz it, we can probably take out most of the prison guards in on sweep."

Pliskin then points to the right.

"Over there is their command center and generators. If we hit that instead, we take out power to the whole prison and cut off their comms and leadership. Problem is, two targets, one team."

"Tarin counts as a team all by herself." You point out.

"Point." Pliskin nods. "All right, you all got your assignments, then. Get in position and wait for my signal. We'll coordinate our breaches to happen simultaneously."

With that, the teams split up. You see Tarin stalk off into the night along, fading away from view. You can't tell if she was activating her ability or if she was just blending in with the storm. Team 2 stalks off in a staggered formation towards the brightly lit barracks building.

Meanwhile, you, Red, and Rex follow Pliskin to the central keep, where the main prison block was located.

"All right." Pliskin says as you stack up on the front security doors. "According to the blueprints, there's a central tower inside the keep where all the guards are located. Our first priority is clear it to eliminate the immediate threat since they have full 360 degree line of sight inside the prison block. Captain, you can follow us into the central tower with us, or you can start clearing prison cells while we work. Up to you."

"Well be busy breaking the prisoners." You say.

"All right." Pliskin nods. "I don't have to tell you that you might run into resistance of your own."

"Obviously."

"All right. Just making sure." Pliskin keys his radio. "Richards, are you in position?"

"Affirmative." Tarin says.

"Team 2, are you position?"

"Ready and waiting!"

"All right, commence attack on my mark." Pliskin glances his squad, who were busy planting breaching charges onto the door. "Mark!"

On of the SEALs hits a trigger, blowing down the front doors with a loud CLANG. At the exact same moment, the lights cut out and you can hear screaming and shout outside, punctuated by gunfire, though it was all muffled by the high winds.

"Go go go!" Pliskin waves his men forward.

As the SEALs charge in, their suppressed MP5s puffing furiously, you, Red, and Rex dash off into a side corridor. Rex then glances at a map tacked onto the wall.

"Rex, where's the maximum security block?" You ask.

"Lowest sublevel. About three floors down." Rex says. "If I had a team of special forces operators, that's where I'd put them."

"Break open the cells along way as we go!" You instruct.

"Got it!" Red grins as she draws her katana, it's edge already glowing a hard blue. She effortlessly begins slicing iron bars apart from the cells you pass by, with both you and Rex yelling at them in English and Russian to head for the exit. While you weren't too sure if they could understand you or not, gunfire was a universal language everybody could understand.

By the time you've reached the maximum security wing, you've liberated about 30 prisoners or so. Here, you see that instead of normal cells with bars, all the calls were locked behind heavy, armored security doors. It takes a bit more effort on Red's part to cut through the locks. However, she manages to get the first door down.

Only for a huge, dark shape to lunge out and tackle you, a homemade shiv carved out of a toothbrush pressed against your neck. You look face to face with your assailant. Even though he was haggard, unshaven, and obviously malnourished, he still had a sense of purpose and killing intent in his eyes, testament to his training and conditioning.

Just as quickly, Red has her sword pressed against the back of the man's neck, while Rex keep an eye on the entrance.

"Whoa, hold up there!" You gasp. "We're friendlies! Americans!"

"Fuck." The man grunts and back off. "Sorry, thought you were an execution squad."

"Would they break down their own damn door?!" You cough.

"The locks on these doors are pretty shitty." The prisoner grunts and pulls you back up to your feet. "The name's John Murphy."

"Captain Pierce. Pararescue." You pull out a picture Anderson provided it and compare it to John's face. A perfect match. Actually, he looked a like someone else you knew but couldn't quite place where. "Where are the rest of your men?"

"Dead." John shakes his head. "My witch, Aila, might still be alive, but I haven't seen her in weeks. As far as I know, we're the only two people down here."

"Red." You nod to her and she begins popping open the rest of the cells.

"Can you move on your own?" You ask, checking him for wounds.

"Yeah. I'm good." John grunts. "Just give me a weapon and I can fight my way out of here."

"Hopefully it won't come to that."

"Cap!" You hear Red call out. You dash over to one of the opened cells, where she's cradling a witch with light brunette hair. Aila, no doubt.

"Aila!" John rushes forward and kneels beside Red. "Is she-"

"Alive, but barely." Red scowls. "She's got a serious case of pneumonia. From the looks of it, the bastards have barely treated her."

Aila groans and her eyes flutter open just for a second. You're not sure if she can even see or comprehend what's going on.

"Stay with me, Aila! You can't die now!" John clasps one of Aila's hands in his and turns to you. "You can save her right?"

"Red?" You turn to her.

"I mean, I can use my powers to alleviate the physical symptoms, but I can't get rid of the underlying infection." Red frowns. "And it's gonna take up a lot of energy to do it, too."

"Whatever you do, it better be fast." Rex yells from the door. "We've got company, and not the nice kind!"

"Yeah." John nods. "Just leave it to me."

Red closes her eyes as she press her hands against Aila's chest. A blue glow appears and Aila groans. She still seems out of it, but at least she's not as deathly pale, and her breathing is more steady.

"Okay, I made her well enough to move. I hope." Red grimaces.

Suddenly, gunfire erupts as Rex fires his carbine.

"We got company!" He yells.

"Are there any other ways out of here?" You turn around.

"It's a dead end!" Red shakes her head.

"Not quite." John says as he drapes Aila over his shoulders. "There's a hidden passage behind that wall. It'll lead us straight to the roof."

"That will separate us from the rest of the group." Red frowns.

"I'm heading over to the main block right now." Tarin says. "Wait up for me."

"John, are there any other American POWs in this facility?" You ask.

"Not that I know of." John shakes his head. "Most of the time we're kept out of the main prison population, but from what I understand most of the prisoners here for political reasons. Dissidents and members of opposition parties, mostly."

"All right." You nod. It pains you to say this, but you get the feeling your time was up. "We're getting out of here."

You all storm up the stairs and meet almost no resistance, most of the guards having been taken out by the SEALs or by Tarin. You sprint out into the main courtyard, where you can see the SEALs already loading up liberated prisoners into the Phrogs.

"We've got the objective!" You yell to Anderson over the howling wind.

"Understood! Get them on your helo and get out of here! The Russians got wind of what's going on and are sending in a huge assault force!"

"Understood!" You yell back. "See you at base!"

You and your group dash for the landed Ghost Hawk. You, Red, and Rex clamber in while Hoskins helps John carry Aila in, where she's strapped down securely to a stretcher. Red and Rex immediately go to work on her, with Red pumping in a fresh injection of healing magic while Rex hooks up an IV.

"She's going to be okay, right?" John asks quietly.

"Yeah, she'll be fine." You assure him. "We brought casualties back from worse."

At this point, the Phrogs have already taken off and are heading full speed back towards the sea. You motion for Bullseye to lift off and he puts power into the engines, and the Ghost Hawk pulls itself into the air.

You decide to stay quiet for now and let John have his privacy. You then walk up to the cockpit to get an update from Bullseye.

"Anything new?" You ask.

"Um, I got good news and bad news. Mostly bad."

"Give it to me straight." You sigh.

"Well, the good news is, the Phrogs managed to successfully clear the area, and we're not in range of allied radar coverage." Bullseye says. "Bad news is, the Russians have scrambled fighters and attack helos, and they're scouring the area. I know we got stealth and the weather on our side, but if any of them spot us..."

"...then we're toast." You nod. "How close are they?"

"The closest units can be on top of us in as little as three minutes." He says.

Well, this was problematic.

"Got it." Bullseye nods.

The next three minutes are very tense, as you wonder if you'll get intercepted by a hostile fighter of helicopter.

"Oh shit." Bullseye pales. "Radar is picking up two contacts heading over to us. They might have seen us."

"On radar?" You blink.

"Dunno. IR, maybe. Even with our reduced heat signature, we'd still be easy to see in weather this cold."

"Call her in." You say. "You and I both know what she's capable of."

"All right." Janice says uncertainly.

"Aw shit, more contacts." Bullseye frowns.

"Can we keep ahead of them?" You ask.

"The helos? Sure. The jets? Not so much." Bullseye shakes his head.

Then you start hearing a familiar humming over the radio. It sounded vaguely familiar, actually, like Laika's singing.

"Holy crap." Bullseye blinks. "One of the contacts is gone."

You poke your head out of the door to see the flares of jet engines high above. No doubt Laika engaging the fighters that were hunting you. You could see smaller flares of missiles being fired, and a star briefly shines as another fighter bites it.

"Easy mode." You hear Laika mutter.

Meanwhile, the helo contacts slowly but steadily begin to catch up.

"Janice? Where are you?" You ask nervously.

Almost there! Just another minute!" Janice says.

You're tempted to have Laika divert to take out the helos, but then she'd have to go dangerously low, which was compounded with this weather. Not to mention there were still fighters in the air..

Unfortunately, what you see arriving isn't Janice, but a tracer round.

"Fuck, they're firing on us!" Bullseye curses.

Yeah, you could tell they were firing autocannons at you. No doubt the weather was too poor to risk using missiles.

"Shit shit shit!" Bullseye grunts. "I wanna go evasive but in this fucking weather, it's basically asking for us to crash!"

Keep it straight and steady, Bullseye!" You yell. "We need to keep this thing in one piece!"

"Tell that to those fuckers behind us!"

You look out the side door again. This time you manage to make out a pair of fuzzy shapes in the distance, occasionally interrupted by bright muzzle flashes from their cannons.

And then the one thing you didn't want to happen. The Ghost Hawk begins to shudder from hits.

"Fuck!" Bullseye grunts.

You're about to call out to Janice when you see several blurs flash by. you look back just in time to see Janice and Nungesser engage the Ka-50s, knocking them out. Jetstream and Euclid rise up to assist Laika against the fighters while Ghost stays near the Ghost Hawk.

"Aw crap." Bullseye bites his lip.

"What's the damage?" You ask.

"Um, he might have hit one of our fuel tanks. Other than that, damage is light, but we might not have enough fuel to make it back to the coast." Bullseye says sheepishly. "We can try chancing it..."

"Maybe land somewhere and hide out until extraction?" John suggests.

"In the middle of freaking Siberia?" Bullseye snorts. "We'd be popsicles by the time rescue arrives!"

"Pierce, report!" You hear Anderson speak up. "What's your status?"

"Um, our helo took some hits and sustained some damage. We're unsure if we can make it to the coast." You report.

"Damn." You hear Anderson curse. "Look, Pierce, there is an alternate area near your location you can land it. It's not ideal but... if you can't make it to the coast, it's better than capture or freezing to death."

"What's so bad about it?" You ask.

"I can't tell you, but you'll see if you go there." Anderson says cryptically.

You look at Bullseye, and then at the rest of the occupants in the Ghost Hawk.

"Looks like we have no choice. Give us the coordinates." You say.

"Got it. Just be careful when you land, okay?" Anderson warns. "The base staff will most likely help you, but that doesn't mean you should trust them. Is that clear?"

"Got it." You nod.

"All right. When the base personnel challenge you, tell them that Sirius sent you."

"I'll remember that."

"We're coming too."Janice says. "We can't very well leave you out here alone."

"I'm coming too!" Laika says after she shoots down the last plane.

"All right, all right." You chuckle. Your witches were loyal to the end.

A few minutes of bad weather and shrieking low fuel alarms, you finally see the lights and buildings of a massive military base. Your radio buzzes with a challenge, spoken in heavily Russian accented English.

"Unidentified craft, please identify yourselves or you will be shot down!"

"Don't shoot!" You say. "My name is Captain William Pierce. Our helicopter is heavily damaged and in need of repair. Sirius sent us."

The radio falls silent for a few seconds before speaking up again.

"You are clear to land, Captain Pierce. Just follow the landing lights."

Bullseye wastes no time in landing the Ghost Hawk, with your witches and Laika following suit. In the distance, you can see a trio of men approaching. One unarmed man flanked by two bodyguards.

Spetsnaz bodyguards.

Where the hell did you just land?

"Greetings, Captain Pierce." The escorted man gives a slight by. "I am Colonel Petrov, and welcome to Strana Mechty."

There are currently only 2, the rest haven't done anything for months and are for all intents and purposes, dead.
>>
>>37329708
That's still more than, like, 90% of quests?

I mean it's paltry compared to Deculture's harem of writefags, but that mess eclipses basically everyone..
>>
>>37329708
*Right now*. The total body of writefaggotry the SWQU has over it's whole lifespan is utterly massive.
>>
>>37329732
Well the SWQU isn't comparable to other quests, seeing as its a complete universe with several branching quests.

>>37329742
>*Right now*
Yes right now, and for the last several months, only Feelthy has written anything, and despite Fapfic's promises, he's written fucking nothing at all. There are no more writefags, the old ones are dead and have been for a long time.
>>
>>37329756
And? It still invalidates the core of your statement - that it has few Writefags. It has a shitload. Most of them aren't active right at this moment, but with a Quest Universe this big and long-running you need to apply different criteria.

No idea what you were trying to post, but yes Konnie and Natasha are probably here with Putin.
>>
>>37329799
Yes it does, because you need a different definition of the present tense for this sort of thing since the timeframes that apply for "we have" for most quests absolutely do not apply here.
>>
>>37329779
>Most of them aren't active right at this moment
You mean they haven't been active for more than a year. That anons argument still stands up fine, he said there were none left apart from maybe 2, and that's correct, there are no more.
>>
>>37329813
What.

Did you seriously just try to redefine tense itself based on 'this quest's setting is better than most'?

You don't make sense at all anon. Just stop talking.

There is only 1 definition of the present tense anon, don't know what your smoking but I want some.

>>
>>37329824
I said nothing about "better", you asschugging moron.

This whole business is far more long running than most quests. The dip we have here in writefag activity is equivalent to other quests having their writefags miss a thread or two. Therefore the timescale for frame of reference is completely different.

If you can't wrap your testicle-sized brain around *that* then I wonder how you're even able to use a computer.

>The dip we have here in writefag activity is equivalent to other quests having their writefags miss a thread or two.
No its not, that would be an exponential jump in comparative content size and that is not the case here.

> Therefore the timescale for frame of reference is completely different.
No its not, the timescale is from when the first threads ran until now, not including breaks and hiatuses in quests. The timescale is exactly the same as every other quest unless you invented a time machine.

>>37329859
>If you can't wrap your testicle-sized brain around *that* then I wonder how you're even able to use a computer.
