>Summary:
You are Heracor Nahive, techpriest working as an escort for the mighty Commissar Oihan Alzador and currently travelling towards the Death World of Plinia Vesus to mitigate the riots and disturbs that the thousands of prisoners destined there are creating.
The ship is only a few hours ago of reaching its destination and you recently spent almost an entire day in the operating room, plenty of new weapons at your disposal.
>>
You put on the newly assembled Skitarii armour around you and magnetically belt the chainsword to your hip before grabbing the dual linked lasgun and exiting the room.

Your legs felt heavier and tenser than usual, getting new bionics was a quick way of becoming stronger but they had the handicap of leaving you weak and with the need to learn how to use your newly changed body.

Somehow you managed to drag yourself to the Skitarii owned training grounds, opening the lock of the chamber became harder than you thought as shakiness and occasional spasms covered your arms and metallic fingers.

The place was as empty as your stomach. Your internal clock said that it was about four AM. Except the servitors and the night shift workers everybody was sleeping. Today was the last day and the Guardsmen knew that this time might be the last one they slept safely. A small dot bleeped on your HUD. It was a message from your boss Oihan. She required your presence on the main dock at eight AM. Four hours from now.

Walking towards the control panel you saw that it was able to create artificial environments to train with. There were some preprogramed archetypes called “Shooting Range”, “CQC” and even “Obstacle Race”.
Your mind doubted if training in such a hurry was good…on the other side you had little more than half day to understand the mechanics of your new body.

>>
Well Heracor has slept plenty so I guess he can examine his legs while resting on the bed. Working on the Options A and B.

>>37372835
The only thing added on his legs are Magnetic soles, feel free to choose another bionic. The complete list is on the Pastebin.
>>
Praiiiiiise the omnimessiah!

And then make an on/off switch that doesn't take 15 steps to operate!

Welcome back you bastard!

To hell with A I want to at least test these new toys and get a feel for them at the very least.

Also wheres the pastebin link? not seeing it

Aw shit its trapped in that mess? Haha alright I'll have to dig through it then to refresh my memory.

Heracor at least needs to test his new mobility bionics before combat those things will be vital.

We got 4 hours before commissar-chan wants to talk and after that 10 hours to split up between a last minute rest and making sure our new twinlink lasgun don't fuck up.
>>
>>37372939
stuff's at the bottum
>>
So, final vote is then testing the magnetic soles and the void shield?
>>
>>37372950
Those will be the most vital to know work properly and how they work.

I'm okay with just those if we only have that much time before powerfist-chan wants to speak with us.
>>
>>37372950
Yeah, sure.
>>
shameless bump and asking if Heracor bluescreened his tech brain.
>>
>>37373165
My computer rebooted because I accidentally kicked the power button. All written lost, the Omnissiah has truly abandoned me.
>>
Since the moment you woke up you noticed your feet heavier than usual, you even needed to drag them during the first minutes. At first you thought it was because you were still weak and some anaesthesia remained on your bloodstream but now that you were a little bit more awake you noticed that the weight didn't dimmed.

After some thinking you realised that those were because of the magnetic soles, even when shut down they had some little residual attraction towards metallic surfaces. The combination of your weakness and being in such a high metal concentrated area like the insides of an AdMech cathedral was what made the movement be clumsy and hard.

Your artificial brain established a link with the soles and two options appeared in front of your eyes ready to be activated with a mental command. The two orders were ON+ and ON-

Those new footing was better than I imagined, they could be given positive or negative charge and make them be rejected or attracted to metal and the strength they imposed even when deactivated gave me an approximated idea of how powerful those were really.

Sluggishly I walked towards the metallic wall and placed my left foot on the surface and then I ordered its machine spirit to turn it on.

With great difficulty I managed to get myself vertically after placing the second foot. I looked really odd as suddenly the artificial gravity started to pull myself in a different manner. My hood retracted itself back and my dendrites rested on the floor, I would still need a lot of train to understand how to move in an environment where the floor isn't always the limit.
>>
>>37373245
Ooooo this is neat. We have a mag based super jump possibly. Though the part where they slow us down is going to be an issue. I like.

Also based magnetic wall jumping is possible now once he practices enough. sadly we'll probably have to do it during live combat due to time constraints.

LEFT HAND RULES !
>>
>>37373245
Since there was nobody to try to hit at it you ended creating a stress test on your own. You continued ascending until you were about seven feet tall and then activated the shield.

It looked like a half sphere the size of an adult human heart. When active it moved from your right elbow to your armguard and opened. Its interior was bright and many sacred circuitries were visible in this state. The shield itself was invisible but it distorted the space around it making the air and silhouettes look distorted. There was an intense heat coming from it, it seemed to be pretty energy consuming.

You deactivated the soles and curbed in a ball so all the kinetic energy ended on the shield. Moments before the impact you closed your eyes and regretted such a weird idea.

To your surprise you ended harmless. The shield absorbed all the force with any flickering; in fact it was the floor the one who took the worst part of it as there was now a depression on it. Good thing you are going to leave the ship soon. This would be hard to explain to the other techpriests.

For the ones who were on the last thread. Do you remember how each bionic had some energy consumption? Should I point how much energy left does Heracor have or keep the numbers for myself and make it harder for you player?
>>
>>37373390
Depends how easily Heracor himself can tell how much power he has left.
>>
>>37373390
I think with the current setup he had maybe 220-260 power with the skitarri armor and if his solar generator could find sunlight.

I seriously doubt we'd manage to overload the power supply though, we'd literally have to turn EVERYTHING on at once. Plus keeping it hidden doesn't make too much sense. Heracor would at least have a rough idea of how much powerdraw he's using due to his internal systems and bionics.

also
>To your surprise you ended harmless.
makes more sense in english as
>To your surprise you were unharmed.

Considering you don't use english as a first language you do pretty good though. Must be confusing as hell writing backwards with how english works compared to most anything else. Its a fucking wonky language sometimes.
>>
I guess I could offer a energy reading sensor bionic in the future.

Anyway. In this case he had 200 energy + 20 from the armour +15 from the solar generator and artificial light - 5 from his mouth -18 from the dendrites - 7 from the fall - 5 from the soles and - 75 from the shield. That makes his energy levels to be on 128. It's not like hes gonna get short on power anytime now.
>>
>>37373471
>Considering you don't use english as a first language you do pretty good though. Must be confusing as hell writing backwards with how english works compared to most anything else. Its a fucking wonky language sometimes.

It can be yes. But I always considered myself good at english alas I know I will continue making weird phrases from time to time. I'm glad the players and readers of this quest are patient with me regarding that.
>>

Oh shit I forgot to add the options. Sorry.

Might be worth it until the meeting. afterwards some time drilling with the lasgun's new modifications and our cybereye linkup is gonna be a good idea. Those are two of the most likely to be used upgrades next ot the mag boots

Maybe take the time to get pointers from the enlisted(HAH) men about fullblown warfare and how to not die as well.

>A: Return to the room and rest, try to drink and eat plenty.

Way too many sensations for now. The rest of the training and bionics will have to be tested on the battlefield. With a little bit more control over the magnets you managed to walk back to your appointed room. You lied on the bed but choose to keep the armour on.

You didn't really knew what war was and all you could gather were a few pict-captures and recordings. They seemed to be pretty edited...even censored you would say but keeping in mind that all those were available to you only because they were made public it had sense.

All you knew was that the armour would be able to keep you alive and distribute more energy across your body thanks to a small generator situated in the back and a needle that connected with your neural ports.

Even when lying on the bed breathing on that metallic carapace was hard. It restricted some of your movements but you still had liberty enough to do most actions without any bound.

There was a cart next to you. It had some more meds and couple of sandwiches made from the fresher chicken, soilent green and starch. To drink you had watered down anabolics mixed with protein powder. The special diet that the Commissar imposed you always made you feel full and radiating with energy.

The few hours until the meeting came quickly after that.
>>
Off the top of my head here Heracor's newest bionics are

Electoos:We got the touch! We got the POWAH! No seriously we can electrify the shit out of stuff by burning off power through them, also linked to the sheathed sword bionic for a nasty combo.

Upgraded Hearing and Vison:We can see in low light and thermal, Heracor has zero experince in using his new thermal add-on to his visual bionic/aug. Auditory has been enhanced as well and again no experience in using it, also a weakness if its tuned up and he hears LOUD NOISES or high pitched sonics

Sheathed Sword: An old one but upgraded, The sword housed in one of his arms now has elecrtical channeling to it, enabling a vicious combo with said Electoos. Though it can also be used in desperate times to recharge or drain mechanical power. (This is HERETEK territory however, best done without witnesses unless you want the admech to try and fiddle their chip again)

Void Shield:Power intensive but as already shown highly effective as a defense and going to be extremely useful in a warzone. Chance of overload if used in conjunction with other high power bionics though.

Mag soles:WALL WALKING, SUPER JUMPS OFF METAL SURFACES, Whats not to love?! However Heracor has little idea how to properly use it and almost no practice. Plus the magnetic elements even off can slow him down when he's this weak.

Claw Fingers:Retractable claws in his fingers now. Possible utility use (I'd call this a great can opener) and will literally rip faces off in close combat. Though we have much better options to kill things with up close. Wallclimbing?

Cybereye/Scope-Lens linkup:What it says on the tin, we can literally view out of our Lasguns scope making it possible to fire without exposing ourselves from cover and improving our ability to snipe like a mofo.
>>
>>37373743
You walked with more control of your own body towards the main dock. There was a meeting with all the other Commissars and people in power that seemed about to start.

"Looking good Heracor. Did you changed your hairstyle?" Oihan said in a mocking manner while asking me to walks towards her with her power gloved index finger.

"I did the best that I could to improve myself both to protect you and myself." You answered grabbing the sides of your hood and pulling to deeper hide your face.

You felt kinda intimidated between so many military leaders, specially since there was few to none AdMech presence besides you.

"You start to sound like a real warrior!" She said with what seemed to me like a strong bump to my soldier coming from her other fist, after she heard me grunting from it she added in a half pouting manner "You still need to man up thought, don't worry. I won't let any crazed prisoner to touch you."

Your hood couldn't hide yourself anymore so you answered pretty much getting behind her and letting Oihan do all the talking from now on. Feeling surrounded by such muscular and warforged men made you feel kinda safe but also intimidated.

Looking at them made you see that you weren't the only escort. There were others but mostly were elite guardsmen or other kind of war oriented people.

The bright red of your robe was like a light in the night surrounded by so many dark coats and armours.
>>
>>37373796
Also to keep in mind is that Heracor is a techpriest and he's only just now started to learn to fight. He's got almost no experience as a warfighter, without his augs he's literally worse then a imperial conscript in combat. Very little knowledge of tactical fighting, hell he probably doesn't even know what flanking is.

That said he's a brilliant and knows his machines and he's proving to be rather clever despite his lack of training in warfare. He did figure dumping out 40 metric buttfuck tons of coolant on a deamon would freeze it solid. He could stand to learn something from the guardsmen to improve his odds though.

This is kind of important since OP doesn't do rolling. We aren't going to get them magic crits and critfails but if we push heracor into doing something suicidally stupid its going to hurt. badly. Plus his thinking and actions are based on what he knows and can do. Same with how well he does said actions.

This has been your local announcement for the Lets Not Get Heracor Killed foundation.

When everybody Commissar and high member got seated the different companions moved to the back to let them argue about what tactics take and discuss about the intel they had.

A red and black holographic orb appeared in the centre of the room and slowly started spinning. Everybody could see the planet and for the expressions and curiosity that some people shown I was sure that I wasn't the only one who looked at it for the first time.

It was smaller than I imagined and most of it was covered in a sea of lava. There was only one main Imperial Base and some outposts scattered to control the penitentiaries located on it.

"The planet has five designated MegaPrisons on it. Each one houses between 20.000 and 100.000 imperial prisoners. Each MegaPrison is conformed by prefabricated living blocks and a outter wall"

The image zoomed towards MegaPrison 03. It showed buildings devoid of any furniture nor decoration with the exception of Imperial Aquilas and skulls here and there. The people on it fought and there was no presence of any kind of security on it.

"In the first years the scum lived inside and the prison guards inside the thick walls. The ultraviolence of those prisoners ended by creating breaches on those walls that lead to the death of all those loyal imperial servants. Anarchy engulfed the planet in what we call the Night of the Million Shivs"

The image of the planet changed and started to show old pictures of dead policemen and how after the outer walls were destroyed the madmen prisoners ran out.

"The harsh climate and the ionic storms of the planet killed most of those escapees but the ones that survived soon became warlords who wanted to reach the stars. We had no other chance but to send the Imperial Guard"
>>
>>37373997
"I remember that battle" said a old looking man some others nodded along him.

"Yes, some of the present people here are heroes that liberated Plinia Vesus from those warlords."

Everybody looked at them with solemnity and respect.

"After that we decided that those prisoner were way too dangerous for non military factions and decided to settle a regiment on the planet"

The few Micerian bodyguards looked proudly and stood upright.

"The Prisons are now connected by train rails that are elevated 200 feet from ground level instead of underground tunnels. Those pathways are rigged with explosives to cut any kind of communication with those prisons if they manage to take control of a train. In case we need to cut all those paths we will have to transport using the Omega Drills"

"What's the current Situation" Said Oihan, kinda impatient with the history lessons.

"MegaPrison 02 and 04 seemed to have been united by two different leaders, they will with no doubt try to attack the nearest Jail or Outpost...We have also lost contact from Purgatory."

"We don't want to suffer another Night of the Million Shivs. Seems like the violence is reaching its highest and we need the most people as possible."

"How many soldiers and prisoners are by estimation?" Asked a muscular yet short commissar.

"1000 guardsmen per Outpost with about 3000 assassinated to the HQ. Another 1500 are coming in this ship. There are about 600000 prisoners per prison and a indeterminate number in purgatory...About 9.500 guardsmen and 300.000 prisoners"

Most people seemed mad. Numbers weren't in their favour.

"We have to get in mind that those prisoners have no weaponry but the one they can make and that the air will kill most of them, the best prison made rebreather that we have found on their possession would be considered sub par even for non AdMech people" Said the spokesperson while showing a dirty and jury-rigged rebreather.

Silence covered the room, it seemed like that statement didn't convince almost anyone. The man looked at you and with a glance asked for help, you were the only AdMech member in the room and seemed like only you could give strength to its statements.

>A: Look at the rebreather and analyse it. Help the man.

You grabbed the mask and compared it with the refined one that you and every other member of this room was given.

The Imperial one was finely stitched and had chromed filtration plugs that could be easily suited to a emergency oxygen tank, it had coverage for the eyes with replaceable dark lenses for high luminosity moments and many other small details that made it a respectable and admirable piece of the human intellect.

The other mask was little more and different parts of mask wore by the now long dead prison guards stitched and fixed together with some sort of handmade glue or epoxy. There were also different parts that acted like filters made from what seemed metallic toilet pipes. Many holes covered the mask in almost all the sides.

"No human unmodified would be able to survive in a poor oxygen environment with a mask like this one for long." You end saying, you had to admit to yourself that even if it wasn't usable any more it was cleverly built and that the reason it didn't worked any more was because of old age and damage sustained with the war.

Whoever who invented it was surely a criminal and probably dead but you ended admitting that sadly he would have become a great techpriest.

"I have to say thought...that this mask would have been functional not long ago. While it isn't as good as the Imperial one someone wearing this could be able to survive on the surface for a extended periods of time"

The short and muscular man mask looked at your eyes like if you backstabbed him in the most cowardly manner. His two escorts gave a angry glare at you and immediately got on his boss's side.

"How could a Intelligent Techpriest like You think that such a terrible mask created with shitstained pipes would be a good thing to put around your face? I would charge you of tech-heresy if I Could!"

His face became all red and his eyes looked like they would pop out of their orbits in any moment. The biggest one of his bodyguards grabbed him by the shoulder and he became crazier.

"You are lucky my men are holding me because I would rip every bone of your body if I could!"

Some other escorts game me looks that said "You are in the clear" while others looked at him with disgust. The three exited the room shortly after.

"Don't worry champ. He's Atowesor Sicantus. Not a bad leader but loves war way too much. Since he's so short he lives in a constant needing of feeling big, first he tried it with chems that buffed his muscles and then he tried to get in as many battles and wars as he could " Said a pale and sleep deprived escort situated next to me " Your statement of them having reliable tech gave us a reason to use tactics instead of rushing and sending endless waves of soldiers to die now "
>>
>>37375057
I kind of want to make Heracor point out that sending your men to die needlessly is a waste of perfectly good soldiers who can die doing something worthwhile. Like actually completing the campaigns objectives so all the loss of soldiers and materials is worth it.

He's perfectly autistic enough for it. But I'm not sure the guardsmen would enjoy the truth of things.

"AHEM" Interrupted one of the most veteran coronels. "This intelligence is one month old. We don't know how much of this situation has changed now. We will separate in five teams. Each one will scout a outpost and inform the HQ of the situation"

A small servo-skull entered the room and handled each Commissar a small scroll. The moment it had to give its scroll to Atowesor it entered into a glitching loophole since its orders were entering the room and giving the scroll and while it had the scroll there wasn't the person it had to be given to. He needed to exit the room to give the scroll but he couldn't because the scroll wasn't delivered yet. A small smoke trail started to appear in one side, apparently only you were the only one who noticed it thanks to your augmented nose and that you were the only one who focused on it on the first place.

The man continued talking and started giving information that sounded alien to you like war tactics and other things you werent familiar with.

Small and almost invisible sparks started appearing in the still floating servoskull's head. You could swear you heard a small crying coming from it.

Which is my bet is on him being taken into inquisition custody as an asset at some point if he doesn't escape into the shadows. He's not FOR THE WAAAAAAARP he's just cursed with too much common sense.
>>
>>37375234
I could see it, the inquisition doesn't much give a shit about itsy bitsy heresy, a autisticly smart ad mech wouldn't bother them much.
Depending on the inquisitor in question of course
>>
>>37375234
but then they might find out that he's just Abominable Intelligence driving a meat suit
>>
>>37375285
>he's *an* Abominable
>>
>>37375263
Of course. But I think only the puritanical ones would try to kill Heracor outright. the others would want to take him on as a personal mechanic and enginseer outside of Ad Mech oversight and all the annoying shit that comes with having to deal with the Ad Mech. They are some serious dickheads at times.

Well shit they were dickheads to Heracor, they put a fucking mindcontrol chip in his brain. I'm still not sure how it malfunctioned.

>Inb4 Dat Fucking Eldar.

>>37375339
Nah mister feathers is setting up the pieces, and he needed a not so loyal ad mech.

>B: Stand up and help the servoskull.

You moved between the commissars and their men as quietly as you can. Your tall body, dendrites and metallic feet that get stuck to the floor don't help you being silent at all. Before you noticed it everybody was silent and looking at you, Oihan was covering her face with the giant palm of her power fist. You continued anyway towards the hurt machine.

When you rested your metallic fingers on the surface it seemed to recognise you as a benign entity and stopped his anti-gravity emitters, resting all its weight on your open hands.

As noisy as before you returned to the same spot you were before and started working trying to be as silent as possible.

You analysed the internal machinery and noticed that the program order was in a endless cycle that couldn't be ended. Every cycle was painful for it and the process felt like a endless migraine for its spirit machine. Your dendrites opened the side of the skull that was emitting smoke and identified what seemed like already burnt processors, if he didn't fixed the skull it would end catching fire.

Unable to access his tools he did the best thing he could do. A hard reboot.
>>
>>37375544

He stuck his metallic fingers into a close power source and transmitted the energy across his electoos towards the skull. The process itself just took a second, the instant needed to gather the current from its fingers to the metallic filaments and direct it to the power source of the skull.

Its pain was shut off and a instant later the skull was rebooting. His eyes flickering once and indicating everything was ok. The hard reboot seemed to have deleted not only its last orders but also its memory. Apparently since you were the only techpriest around he thought you were its current master.

The people around you started to stand up and gather his stuff. Oihan left without saying a word, not even a glare at you.

>A: Keep the servoskull. See what can It do and try to improve it if you can.

I'm just laughing at the mental image here honestly. you got this techpriest in full armor and gear trying to just politely and quietly stomp over to a servoskull and fix it.

hey wait we have a servoskull now does that mean we could it to scout remotely? Maybe even use dat lens/scope linkup with a bit of work?
>>
Working on A+B+C now.

>>37375702
It could be our own servoskull to do whatever we desired with it. Since the players seemed to enjoy a lot the personalization of Heracor I will also give lots of options to personalise the servoskull.

b-but explosives!

I think we would of noticed those during our repair of the skull anon. We kinda did a pretty indepth examination of it to find the burning processor.

Can we name the bugger Yorick?

Let's call it Morte.

Considering Heracors background thats...thats just too fitting to pass up. I haven't thought about that game in ages.

All in favor?

How about we jam all the names together into a garbled mess? Then, if a rogue trader captaincy suddenly becomes available, then the scull would be qualified.
>>

Oh what If we name it Bob?
>>
>>37375973
Could suggestions from me:
- Tibia (cus bone), nickname it Tibbles (like a cat)
- Fibris (fibia a bone, sound kinda like fabricate, we make stuff)

Oh or what about Mr.Bones?

Sorry for taking long, I had to eat dinner, still working on the answer. All those names are great!

>A: Keep the servoskull. See what can It do and try to improve it if you can.
>C: Try to log on the cogitator and download all the data from the meeting.
>B: Go talk with Oihan, ask her if she's angry at you.

With still some hours left and a empty room all for ourselves you sat in the closest chair and started looking at the skull. It had a radio antennae capable of receiving and emitting transmissions and signals, two tiny and simple dendrites capable of grabbing light objects and two thin flaps on its back that let it maneuver with grace. It seems that this servoskull was used just as a courier inside this ship.

You send him the next order:

+¦+ New Order: Follow (Me) +¦+
+¦+ Do While +¦+
+¦+ Me=Alive (TRUE); +¦+
>>
>>37376383
It took it a long time to compile those easy orders, probably because of the burn processors that it had. You better try to repair it when you have access to tools, in this state the machine spirit its as neutered as you were before your liberation. It was hard to explain to anybody outside of the Machine Cult how you managed to empathise with the servoskull much more than with any other that was in the room before.

With its soft chumming grav engines near your ears you stood up and it maintained itself close to you. You walked to the main cogitator and sitting behind it connected into its mainframe. The information was pretty huge and badly compressed, you silently dammed the Guard for working with such data quantities and now knowing how to even optimise it.

The download would take about three hours...that would left you with barely six before exiting the warp.

>A:Try to contact Oihan while leaving the download on the background. This would slow down the speed and leave you with about four hours.
>B:Disconnects all your bionics and leave you in standby. This will leave you in a semi-unconscious state but will increase the download speed to two hours.
>C:Download it and tinker with the servoskull, your bionics or just meditate. Doesn't affects the download speeds.
>D:Free action.
>>
>>37376401
>A:Try to contact Oihan while leaving the download on the background. This would slow down the speed and leave you with about four hours.

>>

We mostly want this information stored safely in our skull so we have a clue whats going on.

And where the cults most likely to start its blood letting rituals.
>>
>>37376401
>A:Try to contact Oihan while leaving the download on the background. This would slow down the speed and leave you with about four hours.
>>
So once we get these shenanigans done, what is our last few peaceful hours going to be like? Slumming it with the guardsmen we're going to be charging into insane odds with following powerfist-chan and trying to keep her alive?
>>
>>37376553
I figure go say hi to the guardsmen trio. Maybe give their gear a final blessing as our own autistic way of letting them know we care about them.
>>
>>37376588
And let them know they may face rioters with functional breathing apparatuses. Just in case.
>>
>>37376401
>A:Try to contact Oihan while leaving the download on the background. This would slow down the speed and leave you with about four hours.

The download speed decreases as the main private messaging program loads. You ask her what's wrong and give your opinion on what happened.

From your viewpoint you just told the technical qualities of a mask, both bad a good ones and you did your job keeping a sacred machine safe. What kind of reason did she have to get mad?

The male escort got your back and said that what you said was good. Probably that short Commissar has some kind of mental syndrome that makes him feel smaller than it really is and lives constantly trying to look great, and the best way it has of doing that is sending its men to die.

"May I know why where you angry at me Commissar?" SENT - ✓✓✓

"I don't know If you noticed it Heracor but the others had two or more escorts, and all of them were already battle hardened warrior" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓

"I did yes, what is the reason behind that?" SENT - ✓✓✓

"I used to believe that fighting alone made me braver. I commanded my men, I won my battles I fought my enemies. All by myself." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"One day a Ork Warlord attacked me after killing every one of my men" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"He used his Power Klaw to rip off one of my arms and ate the other one...I cannot remember which one did it bit and ripped, its pretty confusing" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Left me for dead and moved away, I was really mad because I felt weak. I tried to scream to get its attention and be killed in combat instead of abandoned" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"I was so weak that I couldn't even whisper. Luckily for me the next day rained and saved me from dying of dehydration..." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"I was found the next day by a Magos that was analysing the damages after the orks were defeated" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓

"Was it the one who gave you the arms?" SENT - ✓✓✓
>>
>>37376855
.....Ouch
>>
>>37376855
She's giving herself shit for getting attacked by a Ork Warlord? Given their psychology thats actually a compliment of sorts. He knew a good fight when he saw one.

That said holy shit. Its a miracle he didn't take her head as a trophy.

I thought something was missing
grimdark train has arrived
>>
>>37376855

"Indeed. She was a really nice and honest techpriest." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Taught me how to use them and helped me rejoining the Guard" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"The point is. I was a dumb Commissar. I knew I needed people close to me that could help me when the darkest hour approached." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Even Space Marines of high rank might travel go and fight with companions next to them right?" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Then why wasn't I able to travel with people?" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"I always found excuses: Too young, too noisy, too smelly..." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"I was afraid of two things...repeating a similar experience and getting a companion who I would really miss if it died for me" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Those two were contradictions themselves"
"Being alone: BAD" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Being accompanied: WORSE" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"They even started calling me lone wolf. " RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Not that I minded it but It kinda hurt watching the others discuss inelligences or any other important information with their own men while all I could do was stare and wait." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓

There was a silence of about five minutes before she started writing again.

"Then you appeared" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"Techpriest who wants to be strong" RECEIVED - ✓✓✓
"You reminded so much of her and at the same time of me..." RECEIVED - ✓✓✓

If I recall correctly there are about 3.000 hive planets. Taking in count that the Imperium consists of 1.000.000 habited planets and even more inhabited ones. Hives are like modern metropolises, a fuckton of people live in there but there are a few really big cities and in comparison more people live in smallish cities than in big ones.
