moot is retiring. 4chan will probably continue just fine, and /tg/ with it, but this is the end of an era, maybe even the First Era. Now is a good time for reflection. So tell us, /tg...

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
>What first brought you to /tg/?
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

The first era ended with /l/. By rights, 4chan is entering its sixth era.

>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

It was pretty early, I'd early '05. I got scared off initially by the fairly large and open amounts of CP on /b/. I was 28 then. As Fry said in "How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove," "Time makes fools of us all."

>>What first brought you to /tg/?

I have been playing D&D since I was 10, so /tg/ was all about my interests.

>>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

I have met many that were/are Channers of various stripes and played with a few.

>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

It has made me hate most gamers even more than I did before.

>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

When someone posted a screencap of a story I told to /tg/. It was the "No one does revenge like a pissed off Scorpion" story.

>>What have you contributed to /tg/?

In have contributed to several projects as Anon. I briefly ran a quest that was well regarded, but got bored with it and ended it quickly. I have shared many of my Oldbeard stories.

>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

Probably to either 4+3chan or 4+4chan. I'll monitor the other chans until I find where people went.

Well, now I have to revise my post at the very tail end of the last thread to the new criteria, don't I?

Previous post at >>37541294

>When did you first come to 4chan?
2008. My edgy teenage phase lasted longer than most. I was probably 16 or 17 at the time.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
I dabbled in Warhammer when it was founded, but I swiftly found that Warhammer couldn't hold my interest. I returned in mid-2010 during a rash of high-quality writefaggotry.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Incidentally. A lot of my close friends have similar interests to myself, and so are mostly fa/tg/uys or ca/tg/irls as well. I've never sought out the company of fellow /tg/ users specifically, but they tend to have qualities I like in friends.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I usually tripfag, so I suppose you could say it's made me a decisively worse person. Joking aside, /tg/ has raised my awareness of a lot of games I might not have otherwise tried, and 4Chan as a whole is a fascinating cultural enclave.

I also met a camwhore on /d/ and we totally hit it off, so there's...that.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Anytime STORYTIEM shows up on the board my face lights up. I'm a sucker for writefaggotry, and my favorite threads are invariably stories of other people having fun. I adore the sheer joy that tabletop gaming can bring to people.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I wrote a very popular storytime and periodically contribute in the recent resurgence of General threads for my favorite game. I'm not so crass as to in any way lay claim to its popularity on /tg/, but I'm happy to see it getting more attention and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
That's a big 'if.'
>>
>>37541390

Thinking about good times I had on 4chan.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2011, I'm 19 now. Somehow /b/ didn't change me too much and I actually started going to other boards

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Someone on /b/ told me about places that weren't filled with autism

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Nope, I'm more of an "irl friends only" kind of guy.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
4chan didn't affect me much save for times that lives were changed (some raids or random acts of kindness). /tg/ has changed me by getting me into DnD (inb4 casual).

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
It's tied between some of the threads people always post in the "best of /tg/ threads." Being there for a few of those magical stories being told is really nice.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Suggestions for CYOAs (many of them were actually followed through on). Working on my own now.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Honestly? Probably not anywhere. I don't have the heart to find another if /tg/ dies. Call me devoted or whatever

>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2006, I was 19
>>What first brought you to /tg/?
We were getting into DnD at the time. Wasteland Warrior's "Kender Players Suck" was literally the first thing I ever read on /tg/. The first rap thread was the next month. 2009 was a good year.
>>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
From the board? No. My friends browse it though.
>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Creative outlet. I find it funny more than anything.
>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
When I told the first installment of the Chainshirts campaign. That was literally an all-night writing binge, and it was a massive rush typing that out to an active audience. I had to go to a Quantum Mechanics class first thing in the morning and didn't sleep a wink, nor did I get any of my homework done.
>>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Rap battles, stories of campaigns past, advice, whatever. Tons of shit, I don't know.
>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
It won't.
>>
>>37541181
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
This wasn't in the last thread, so I'll amswer it here.
I've definitely improved my writing, and my drawing, and my general wit - mostly because having a bunch of people who won't hesitate to tell you if you suck really helps.
I'm also more humble about my work than I used to be. It's very difficult to be haughty and arrogant about what you create when you can never truly take credit for it.
>>
>>37541181
I was there when Moot descended from on high to smite [name redacted because last time I checked, just saying his name was an auto-ban]. I was in that thread, when Moot spent hours talking to /tg/ about our expectations, our experiences here, and our general board culture. When he outright said that, despite him having no interest in our hobbies, we were his favorite board, simply because of how civil we are to each other, and how calmly and constructively we handle most troll threads.

I'm going to miss him.

Metathreads are usually forbidden, but the admins might make an exception for this one.

Just in case, let's /tg/-ify it. When you're running a game or building a world, how do your settings handle transitional periods? When one era gives way to the next? Are they marked with great portents and momentus events, or are they gradual changing of calendar days until the change is complete and only historians of the next age can look back to mark the change?
>>
>>37541181
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2009 I think, I was 17.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
I wanted to learn more about rpgs, I got into traditional games pretty late but was already on 4chan (albeit only /b/) - so it seemed a logical progression, after going on /tg/ it became the only board I ever bother to visit.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No. But then, that's not surprising, I live in a fairly rural area of the UK.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I don't think it has really, besides taught me that no one really cares what you have to say unless it's actually interesting.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I've been in a few threads that've now woven themselves into /tg/ lore. I'm trying to think of a favourite. Probably when I met the drawfag that drew my entire Dark Heresy (although it was more 'Firefly in the Imperium') party. See the attached picture.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I've done little bits of writefaggotry for people here and there, my posts appear on two printscreens of 'epic /tg/ shit'. Nothing major really though.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Eh, I'm now the treasurer of my RPG society at my University, I've got enough sources of /tg/ related stuff to keep me sated. I'll be sad though. If I'm completely honest though, the board has gone downhill pretty dramatically from when I started coming here. Quest threads have some great content, but they really are a burden on the board in my opinion.
>>
>>37541503
A generational touchstone. Something we can always carry with us. I approve.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Came here because results showed up on google. Was about 15 at the time; 8 years ago.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I hopped over from /d/ and /a/. /tg/ was a lot like those boards combined back then. First things I saw on /tg/'s front page were a futa thread, a monster girl thread, and a 200 post Horo ECONOMICS thread.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
D&D with my boyfriend.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I basically got started playing board games and tabletop thanks to /tg/'s advice almost enitrely.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
/tg/ parodying the advertisement spam.
"Sexy nubile 118 year old elves are just waiting in our chatroom! Join us now!"

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Not enough. I've mostly just lurked quietly.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Into a sad little corner. But in all seriousness, someone will probably make a new /tg/ board we can all migrate to.

I miss when 3e/4e edition wars were raging whilst everyone else posted interesting but barely-related-to-/tg/ crap + somewhat NSFW. Not that things have changed much; edition wars still rage, random topics and derails are aplenty, and we have cheesecake and weekly smut threads.

>how and when
I forget how I found out about 4chan, I heard it somewhere and googled it. It was 2006, and I would have been about the same age as Moot when he started 4chan. Fitting.
>What brought you to /tg/
I can't remember this, either. I started with /b/ and moved on to /v/ and /x/. At some point /tg/ and /d/ entered the mix, and became my mainstay.
>every met IRL or played a game with a fa/tg/uy
Not IRL, but I've played online with plenty of anons.
>how has the chons affected you
I'm cynical as fuck and will probably never expect anything to get better, but at the same time it helps me to be a lot more introspective than I might otherwise be.
>favorite /tg/ moment
Lost future quest was pretty hype. Honestly, I've never thought of /tg/ as having 'moments' in quite the same way as other boards. We get shit done, and that's just every day.
>contributed
baaaasically nothing. I occasionally pop into worldbuilding threads and have offered some ideas that eventually got put onto 1d4chan (I came up with some stuff for the mothkin homebrew, for instance) but that's about it.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

January 2004, I was 17. I followed a link from Something Awful.

>What first brought you to /tg/?

It was created.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

Yes.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

/b/ made me into the profoundly cynical but utterly harmless person I am today. /tg/ taught me that the only true game is the metagame.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

Its founding. Months after the dust settled people came from all over the Web to bitch about how their not-anonymous forums were the worst places to talk about tabletop games.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

I coined a few reaction images, moderated the suptg archive, and was the first (and so far only) person to successfully run games of a tabletop board game, Arkham Horror, on /tg/.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

/tg/'s archive started out as a shadow of the board, but like the evil twin on the other side of the mirror quickly took on a life of its own. I'll see you on #suptg.
>>
>>37542237
#suptg is not the evil twin. I get banned if I make a Hitler joke, and any implicit racism is a warning. It's not even 4chan any more.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
I came in mid- to late-2009, I think, I was just curious what 4chan was. I was in my first year of highschool.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I got disillusioned with /x/ when I realized it was the same creepypastas every fucking thread. I got bored with /int/, /k/, and /co/ because they just didn't interest me after long. I was a regular on /r9k/ before I realized how unhealthy that board was. Nowhere to go, I just browsed every board and fell in love with /tg/. Been here for 3 years.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No, I've never played a PnP game and I don't plan to. I can't deal with other people so easily.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I learned that it's okay to be critical, I learned to be self-aware, I learned the basics of how to dress well, I learned it's not healthy to bend over backwards for other people.
/tg/ specifically, I started writing because of this board. I also started watching anime because of you fags.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Nothing specifically, but I really enjoy when Gropey storytimes or drops some knowledge.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Not much, just quest stuff.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Came to /tg/ in earnest after I got into D&D with my classmates in highschool.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Nope but I recently got my good friend into /tg/ after years of telling him the stories from here

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Helped a lot with out I think about and approach everything from character to world to game design.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
The stories that get thrown around but I was never personally around for any of them, sadly. I was around for Sphere's of the Aether which remains one of my favorite homebrews to come out of this website.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I was a minor poster during the /tg/ Island homebrewing threads. Then several years of silence. And now I post semi frequently in the GURPS generals that pop up.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I would be devastated and probably give up on gaming websites. If I do go anywhere though it'd probably be 7chan (or god forbid, 4+4chan). Would probably also become a regular of Reddit's rpg board.

Hope it never comes to any of that though. I love this place and you people too much.

I haven't played a single tabletop game since 2008, I knew pretty much nothing about warhammer or anything except a little D&D maybe. I had no idea what you were talking about al least 70% of the time.

And yet, I kept coming.

I feel at home here, more than any other board. Your humor, your storytelling and the way that you people can take the stupidest concepts and make them awesome, and your ability to enjoy and discuss ANYTHING is what makes you special.

It reminds me of the truly best part of being a child: Being allowed to take the things YOU enjoy seriously.

/tg/ will never die, even if it goes down. /tg/ exists in the heart of every one of us,

In the ability to spin stories for the sake of telling them

In the willingness to be childish, hammy, absurd or even dramatically serious in the name of fun,

in the honesty that it takes to unironically enjoy the things you love

I love you all you crazy fuckers.

/tg/ will live on.

I don't remember when I came to 4chan, but I was here back when there were only a handful of boards, and I was among the first to land ashore the island that became /tg/.

I've spent a lot of time here, and overall, I can't really judge how it's affected me, since it's been such a large part of my life that I have a hard time imagining how I would be different without it.

My favorite /tg/ moment? I've got two.

The first was my first time making an 800+ post thread, a thread back in the days when 100+ replies was considered extraordinary. It was me writing a story, post by post, and it was just a fun time.

The 2nd would have to be when I finally finished posting my favorite story, and just reading all the comments. People really liked it the 1st and 2nd parts, and I spent a sleepless two days churning out the 3rd in a feverish rush, and it was only with the final post that I could breathe again.

As far as what I've contributed, I just went back into the collection of screencaps people have made of my posts and stories. Whenever someone caps something of mine, I egotistically save it in a special folder, just to pat myself on the back. It's at 25, which, looking back, is a rather small number considering how long I've been here. Only 25, and I've spent years on this board, writing stories, drawing pictures, even making comics and a short little quest. In fact, I made proto-quests, just little picture series that people influenced with their posts, before Ruby Quest really cemented the idea together into what they became.

What happens if /tg/ fails? I guess I'll grow up, find that child in me and just strangle 'em and go on with my life. Might even be good for me, let me focus on my career and what not. Worry more about my mortgage instead of if I'll have any time this week to work on a story or comic for /tg/.

But really, I'm not ready to kill that child in me just yet. I don't think I'll ever want to.

It's what makes me me. That's what /tg/ is.

must have been 2009 or some such. A friend told me he visited there a lot. I was 19 or 20, kind of late to the party.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
An image macro posted on /b/ of all things. It's an image where a guy runs up to a crowd and is supposed to say something that inspires unbridled rage. In the image he runs up to /tg/ and says [absolutely anything], which is followed by a picture of a busy roman forum.
Instant intrigue.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Nope, but that's subject to change.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
it's taught me to be skeptical, critical of near everything, that the world is full of bright and beautiful people at the same time as deplorable, inconsequential cunts. It's given a spark to my creativity and no end of laughs, frustrations and entertainment in general.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Heck, there's greentext threads which can tell you most of them. /tg/'s best qualities is that it knows how to share a story and knows even better how to share a joke.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I have a lot of preferred moments, but not sure if anything qualifies as m favourite. There's plenty of screencaps and story times that make me smile.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Honestly, besides answering questions to new guys or with builds in different generals, not much. More of a lurker than a poster.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I have no idea.

Contrary to the meme, /tg/ doesn't actually get shit done.

>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2008-2009 so 15 or 16.

>>What first brought you to /tg/?
I went from /b/ to /v/, then after /v/ turned into /b/-lite I moved to /tg/ since my only other hobbies at the time were D&D and 40k. Haven't looked back since.

>>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Never met any IRL aside from friends I've told to come here. I played a few games with some people with indeterminate European accents thanks to our gamefinder threads. They were all nice people but our schedules were too difficult to coordinate games so I dropped out.

>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I think 4chan has actually made me more humanistic than I was when I first came here surprisingly. I was an edgy little shit when I showed up but this place taught me to appreciate life in a weird way and reading about people's lives and talking to them knocked me out of that "people are shit" mindset. /tg/ gave me an appreciation for good stories and the people who can tell them well. You guys made me read more. This place really helped mold me into the person I am now, I think for the better.

>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
The stories and screencaps. Real or fake, funny or sad or bittersweet. The way we can take the dumbest shit imaginable and sometimes turn it into gold.

>>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I did a lot of writing for the Night Shift threads and I dump my huge collection of horror game resources whenever I can.

>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I don't really know. Maybe nowhere. This place is really something special and I think that when it's gone it'll be a long time before something quite like it pops up again. You can be damned sure that whatever happens I'll ride this wreck until it burns out for good and I'll take all you guys have given me over the years with me.

I love you guys. Thanks for everything.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
It was 2010. I was 16, anti-social, angry, and lonely. I had heard about 4chan a lot, but didn't know too much about it outside of /b/. Finally decided to go on here, found /tg/, and it stuck.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I had not gotten into DnD yet, but I was still heavily interested in 40k, so it was great to find others that liked the same universe.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No. I've gotten a lot better socially, but I still keep only a few friends.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
It helped me realize that there are other people that are both bat-shit crazy but amusing people and that they were different than the idiotic, prejudiced people that I had to be around constantly.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Well to be honest, I don't have a specific moment that was my favorite, but I have a lot of fond memories of different threads. Things like fairies counting as thrown weapons, "Chasing the Rogue" being a euphemism for sex. I also have fond memories of last year's Prom. That was when we were arguing between taking /d/ or attempting to take /q/.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I lurk mostly, but I pop in on threads sometimes, and I have only ever started one thread. I made a thread about the 40k MMO that's coming out and got people hyped about it. Also I was active in both the Prom and Winter Ball threads.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
To be honest, I don't know. /tg/ is love. /tg/ is life.

Probably around 2007, I'd say. Maybe 2008. I'd have been 21 or 22.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Once I got over the /b/ phase I branched out to other boards and /tg/ was one of the first I visited when I realized it was about D&D and shit.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No. Never.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
It's certainly opened me up to types of pornography I never would have looked at before. Beyond that, I'd say it's made me think more critically about everything.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Nothing specific, but things like Sir Bearington were always my favorite parts of being here.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Various writefaggotry, most famously some thri-kreen smut that was fairly well-received. Not the original one, mind you.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
A friend was on the original /r9k/ a lot, but /tg/ was my first board. 2007, I think, which made me... 14, then? I was super underage, but better than most.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I really liked the Forgotten Realms novels as a kid and once I realized there was a game aspect to it, I came here to learn. I also traded childhood dreams of making vidya to the much more possible making /tg/ stuff.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Not consciously, no, but I'm sure plenty of fa/tg/uys frequent the FLGS around here.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
They're what got me into roleplaying as a hobby, actually. It's my number one hobby now, inspires a lot of my writing, and has definitely improved my quality of life. I love this shit.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2007, I was 16 (23 now), in 11th grade. I had heard about it as early as 2005 though, through a public drawing site. All my friends back then were talking about /b/ -- but it didn't really draw my attention and I wouldn't get into it seriously for years later. I spent most of my early years on /v/.

>What brought you to /tg/?
I had always admired /tg/ from a distance, as I had a background in MtG and sort of wanted to learn tabletop but never had someone to teach me or play with. It was many years later after /mlp/ produced a very easy to learn system that I got into traditional gaming, and now the only board I visit is /tg/.

>IRL with fa/tg/uy?
No, but often in the gamefinder. Well... one guy at my LGS has started to use "salty" recently, so maybe he's a 4chan sort. Unless that has trickled down to Reddit or something.

>4chan or /tg/ affected you?
Made me grow a thicker skin, and really got me into tabletop.

>Favorite /tg/ moment?
There's a really classic greentext story about four monks that fuck up their first encounter in a noodle shop. It was before my time, but it's just so classic.

>Contributed to /tg/?
I wrote a rules-light system and heavily wrote for another one. I do some drawfagging, too, and I like to browse threads and give rules answers. Hoping to "publish" my first ever campaign on /tg/ soon, but I'm kinda sluggish about it because adding all of the contingencies takes forever.

>Where will you go?
I have no idea. Nothing can replace /tg/ for me. I'm stubborn and refuse to touch Reddit.

2010, so 29. I'd hear about 4chan frequently, but only in the typical "4chan did [horrible thing]", so I had no concept of the site outside of /b/. I started on /co/ because (thinking everything was /b/) the initial frenzy of media coverage over that horse show made me think that I was about to see some really funny shit. I stayed because it turned out to be a lot of smart people talking about other cartoons.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Getting back into gaming, and /co/ burn out. This is by far the better board.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Not that I know of.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Really rekindled my interest in these hobbies. You can't be around this many talented people sharing stories and not get inspired. Or, alternatively, this many autists and not think "I can do better."

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
No specific one that I can think of. The place just has an energy that I love.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

Would have been about 21, 22.

>What first brought you to /tg/?

I clamored for the board to be made so I could talk about Warhammer and Magic and Exalted and such.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

Nope. I wouldn't necessarily be against it, but I've never done it.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

I have stronger opinions about trivial stuff. As for /tg/, it's given a focus to my creativity and made me think that yes, I could freelance write.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

Nothing specific. Just how /tg/ seems to reach across other boards, bringing them together in all sorts of new ways.

Decided that since I was doing /tg/ related stuff I'd start browsing the board. also was the first time I actually went to 4chan, what with not being interested in it at all
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Well, not really. I know at least one of my friends posts and his gf browses, and they are both in my gaming group.
So yeah, not in the sense of "total stranger".
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I dont really know, maybe its reinforced the idea that "opinions are like assholes; everybody has them and they all stink".
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Anything related to storytimes; I fucking love storytimes.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Storys, opinions, shitposts, a few pdfs that may or may not have already made the rounds. Nothing noteworthy.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Probably back to reality. Or another anonymous board.

Finding good Origami is what brought me to 4chan. About 16 or 17.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
/po/ had an influx of people making the board about MLP and I sought refuge with /tg/ and haven't left since.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I've gotten many of my friends to lurk, but I really haven't ran into anyone else who uses /tg/.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
It taught me that no matter how good your idea is, or how well formed, someone somewhere will tear it to pieces and shit on everything you hold dear.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
The various random stories that get passed round, and the threads that seem like crap at first but then become gold!(See image)
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Mainly my opinions, if I join a quest it seems to die quickly(Slime Civ Quest ;=;), and once I shared my ideas for creating a campaign based off the Hunger Games books.(This was before the movies came out)

/po/, /cgl/, imgur, or someother shitty site. Although, I don't know where I'll get my PDFs from then!

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

2006; I was 21 and starting college. I was mostly interested in vigilanteism, raids. The framework for what would become Chanology was already in place, and it was pretty interesting.

That, and my girlfriend at the time loved caturday.

>What first brought you to /tg/?

In college I got started playing D&D. Hopping over to /tg/ seemed intuitive.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

Only if you count people I already knew before /tg/.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

Huh. It's hard to say. It's definitely affected my sense of humour, and I've learned a lot about a lot of things (guns, fitness, literature, philosophy etc) just via osmosis.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

Pic related. Also, just a while ago, when we came up with that huge list of boat puns.

Also, any time /tg/ gets shit done. Velocity, Dungeons the Dragoning 40k, etc.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

Writefaggotry. Some smut. An aborted quest (Exalted: Guardian Beast) and new Akun one (the Vicar of Lichfield). I'm pretty sure I came up with the general concept and name for the Scholamance setting, although this will probably be contested. Its final form especially re: schools of magic is pretty far from what I envisioned, though.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

Somethingawful or RPG.net, maybe. Maybe someone could suggest a *chan?

Pathfinder, since the same friend dragged me in a game and it made no sense at the time.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I GMed a Shadowrun game for a group of friends one of them being a scottish LARPer who loved /tg/.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
It's made me really jaded. Like really. Stuff I hate I hate a lot more now. But all in all I think I've become more creative and it's made me focus more on my art skills.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Twodee's Shadowrun storytime. I never thought it would finish.

Sure. But I knew him as a person before I knew he was a fa/tg/uy.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I don't know, I find it hard to describe myself so I don't know how it's changed me.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
When people liked my Storytime and shared it. I still see it posted from time to time.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan? How old were you?
Would have been 2007, I'd have been underage b& for a few months. Heard of it from a TCG forum.

>what first brought you to /tg/?
Was randomly looking through all the worksafe boards and a fucking cribbage thread was on /tg/ - I was hooked.

>have you met or played IRL with another fa/tg/uy?
No, but there is one I owe a drink for when and if we do meet.

>how has 4chan and /tg/ affected you in general?
People will fling shit at any argument you bring about anything, so you better be able to defend what you say with ironclad facts. Biggest lesson I learned from being here.

>what is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Ruby quest holds a bit of a special place in my heart - it was just so out there that no one had really done it before, and look where it's taken us now. Maybe not all the quests are great, but that was a huge snowball effect no one could have anticipated.

>what have you contributed to /tg/?
I playtestes several tg homebrew systems, from Magical Burst to PTA/PTU to Dive into the Sky. Never wrote a quest, probably for my own good.

>where will you go if /tg/ fails?
/tg/ is more than just a bunch of Anonymous. We look out for our Battle Brothers and Sisters, we keep each other in line, and while we may bitch at each other, it's because we care enough to make each other think about what they're doing.

/tg/ cannot fail. If this place ceases to exist, we'll find another. It's our Way.

>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Came here 2012. Was 19 at the time.

>>What first brought you to /tg/?
Id been playing DnD and MTG since I was 13, and this place just seemed so much more interesting discussion wise than anywhere else on 4chan. It was one of the few places I could hold actual conversations with anons.

>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
/tg/ really exacerbated my interest in game design. Because Ive had this place to bounce off ideas of various homebrews and system mods, Ive actually started getting good at it. Im starting playtesting of a new boardgame on Saturday.

>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Probably the Caretaker thread. There were definitely greater moments in /tg/s history, probably even in its history during my time here, but /tg/ always felt at its highest to me when I got to participate and I was an active part of that thread.

>>What have you contributed to /tg/?
A few thrown together homebrews here and there. Some Writefaggotry. Ive made threads a few times but most of them ended up dying without much fanfair. Thing Im most proud of was a system for running Shadow of the Colossus style encounters in Savage Worlds.

>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
It wont, but if it does... Well I dont quite know. I dont think Id be able to find another place online with quite the same spirit as this place.

Might just stop doing internet forums.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Exactly when and how I don't remember but it was at least prior to 2008 because I remember getting a new computer that year and had already been on 4chan for some time. I would have been roughly 19 at the start.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
When /tg/ first arrived I didn't pay much attention, it was just another "moot does something" message on the news feed. I started to spend more and more time here and got to see stuff like the Toilet Paper Butter Golem and Love Can Bloom posted live. Threads like that of set the tone and these days /tg/ is definitely my "home" board. I visit other boards regularly but /tg/ is the only one who's catalog I keep open all the time.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
None of my gaming friends browse /tg/, though they do know what it is.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I've got a pretty thick skin. I've been around here for so long and Seen So Much Shit that nothing really bothers me anymore, trolls don't even make it onto the chart. /tg/ also continues to give me a lot of fetishes.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I'll combine these two, see pic. Seeing the Emperor's Nightmare be born from a series of random dice rolls is what broke me out of my lurker shell. It's the point where I changed from being a visitor that only watched people do stuff to someone who participated in and created /tg/ things. I've contributed to countless homebrews, discussions and even writefagged a little. But the Nightmares are definitely the most complete and coherent thing I can point to that other people could appreciate.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Assuming you mean 4chan as a whole, wherever the quests go. I would like to see the end of those stories. After that who knows, something else will pop up I'm sure.

Not sure. tgchan maybe. They have a relatively unused /tg/ board which can be taken over. I've always thought of them more as an extension to /tg/, much like suptg and 1d4chan.
>>
>>37541181
I came here for the first time, ages and ages ago. I don't even remember what it was for. I just came, and explored, I was waaaay the fuck too young to be on 4chan, but it was one of the first message boards I ever went to.

I dropped out of /tg/ for years after that. It wasn't until college that a friend of mine showed me Iron Hearts, back when Iffram was being made, and then I was hooked. I come back every few months.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

Sometime around 2003. I was lurking the Ecchi-attack forum and noticed people were posting anime and meme pics whose filenames were strings of numbers. They all seemed to come from the same source. I googled the numbers and found /b/. It was like a giant tippy playground. I was 22 and a stoner so I loved the place.

>What first brought you to /tg/?

Its inception. I remember one of the first threads starting with a pic of Shadowsun from 40k captioned "why is she so tsundere? " I knew I'd found a home.
Incidentally, one of the first big threads on the board was an RD thread. Warpuppets.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

Nope. Some of my IRL friends were /b/tards though, but they never went to any of the other boards. I did run a few campaigns over IRL for fellow board dwellers.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

It gave me room to experiment with writing. And a place to experience the best and worst of human creativity.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

I always liked worldbuilding. When one poster has an idea and others take it in interesting directions.

And Love Can Bloom. Often emulated, never surpassed. It was a thrill to follow.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

A bunch of writing. Short fics, worldbuilding material, setting ideas. Old forgotten projects like Nutopia and Vril War. Stuff for 40k sectors and characters. Ran a couple quests I never finished.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

I already left. Just here for a last farewell. Back when it all started I thought it would all last forever. The spirit, the energy. People opening up to strangers. But looking back on 4chan and it's history it's clear that it was a product of a particular moment in time and that time has passed. I might write a research paper on this some day.

I came after lurking on ytmnd for god knows how long and frequently seeing the comment "copied from 4chan. 1 star". I don't quite remember how old I was but I'm pretty sure I was underage b&-able for a while at first.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
"Traditional" games was actually the first board title that caught my eye at first. I'm not proud of it in retrospect but I and a bunch of my friends were into play-by-post forum roleplaying through most of high school and while I'd been aware of the existence of games with more formalized rules I'd never really encountered them. I branched out to browsing a few other boards over time. It was at least a year of lurking though before I worked up the courage to actually make a post on /tg/.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No, unless you count people I have gamed with who ended up later discovering /tg/.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I've tried to take the best parts of advice given on /tg/ to develop an inclusive and welcoming environment to games I play in. 4chan in general has taught me that a lot of different opinions can and often do exist in the same room and always being aware of that fact is the first step towards finding a way to productively relate to people.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Gosh there have been so many great times, from Rubyquest, to touhoufag help threads, Noh, Kromgol, Jim Profit's public execution, DC80 Escape Artist checks, all of it..just...all of it. I love you guys.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Too many threads to remember. I have vague memories of a Final Fantasy homebrew project that never quite got off the ground that I contributed a few pages to. I still contribute to the occasional game theory or DM advice thread on handling players.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Only once or twice.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
God, can I even say? /TG/ let me know that there was an actual full community of people out there who didn't just love games, but loved MAKING them. That was part of this wonderful crazy world.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Iron Hearts, and all of Monday's stuff. But beyond that? I can say I was honored to be there in the first bardfather thread. That was a glorious moment for /tg/.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I was the guy who codified the New Jhelom page, and who also made the space harpies page. I ran a game development advice thread for a while. I also have an unfinished project in the form of cthulhuvoidtech that I'll get back on track someday. I was there in the last days of Harem Knights and made good friends then.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I'll go to the IIRC pages, and I'll ask around there, find out where we've moved too. I suspect it'll be /tg/chan or someplace like it. But no matter what happens, I'll have my memories of you guys. Of all you anons, the jackasses, the heroes, the good and the bad, everyone of you made me the person I am today, helped me get rid of the bad ideas, and helped me find the good ones. You guys are my family in many ways, even if I don't always agree with all of you guys,or even the majority of you. I've been honored to know you all, and I've been honored to create shit alongside you guys.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

2007, right around when Gurren Lagann was airing for the first time and during the height of JAPAN TIME on /v/. I wasn't underage b&, that's for sure.

>What first brought you to /tg/?

Refugee from /v/, liked all the Fallout and 40k threads here, stuck around for a while before moving to /sp/ as my home board. Thinking of coming back here though; too many /pol/tards on /sp/.

Nope.

It's a giant timesink. I'd probably be more productive without this website, but w/e.

Probably Old Man Henderson. Just the whole thing.

Fuck all. I wish I did, though; you guys are abnormally civil for a 4chan board.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

Who knows. Might end up going to SA or something. Years of browsing 4chan have indoctrinated me to believe that Reddit is shit, even though I've barely ever been there.

I kinda wish I played more tabletop, though.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Around late '04 to early '05, I'd say? 4chan was constantly mentioned on the old Shoujo Ai forum (shoujo ai; weird thinking that that used to be a thing) as killing the picture collections there, since everything there was usually just collected from /u/ and crossposted. I was around 20 back then.

What first brought you to /tg/?
A post in /d/ mentioning that this board existed, a fact that had completly passed me by for well over two months. I quickly felt at home here, and with /d/ becoming progressivly worse each year it soon became my main board.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No. I have met a couple of guys that were aware of 4chan, but the influence on the german community is pretty small, I guess.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
/d/ has made me a lot more comfortable with and accepting of other people's fetishes; /tg/ has made me strife to be a better writer and DM and made me a more dedicated, if not better, painter.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Jesus, there were a ton over the years. Offhand I'd say either the Anti-magic Stone DM, Maid Quest or Touhoufag's absurd character builds.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Nothing major, writefagging and numbercrunching here and there, Chaptermaster Samshfucker statistic threads being probably the most known.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I have genuinly no idea. I doubt any other place will have the same atmosphere, tone and style as /tg/. Hopefully this will never come to pass.

>And feel free to say what country you're from.
Germany.

And even though he will never read it, I wish to thank moot for the existence of this site full of asshats and faggotry. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

My girlfriend at the time was reading a Slannesh smut thread and told me to check out the board because she knew I was into tabletop games.

>Have you ever met IRL and/orplayed a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

Once but I forgot his name. But I made my friends into fa/tg/uys! Of course... one them is more a /hm/ kind of guy though...

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
First time, 2005-2006, I'm not sure. I don't even remember how I found about 4chan. I'm 21 y-o now, so I should be 11, maybe 12. I didn't stay long. I wasn't interested in this place until 2011, when I found about /tg/. Then I became a regular, I suppose

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Role-playing games. I didn't play them, but I was interested, and this place was a good place to know games and get to know basic shit.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I guess, my usual GM browses /tg/ from time to time.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I got lots of good stuff from /tg/. I'm talking about ideas, games, memories and whatnot. /tg/ made me vale classic fantasy, and gave me an interest in Space Opera. I also discovered a lot of good* books thanks to this glorious shithole. It also made me rage and crige from time to time, but life has both good and bad things, so no problem with that.
My flatmate browses /a/, and I hate him for it. It's not that I dislike /a/, being an anime fan myself, but god I hate how he keeps sending me images from there.

*Your definition of good may vary.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I have a few, but if I have to choose one, I choose the thread about the Guardsmen painting themselves green to escape from an ork invasion. It wasn't "the best of /tg/", it wasn't all that good, but it was fun and the first thread that didn't make me rage from time to time.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I shared RuneQuest 6, HeroQuest 2, Maid RPG and L5R's The Book of Void, among other things, on the pdf sharing threads. Other than that, I don't know. I post from time to time on the History threads, because I'm a History student and sometimes I can contribute something. Not much, but something.

Through a friend pointing me at /b/, around 2006(? Nurse-kun was half a year after I arrived). I was 18 going on stupid at the time, and /b/-first saved my ass so much suffering.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
The announcement. Played tabletop for years prior, back to freeform roleplay duels in summer camp, and having a dedicated board was fantastic.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
IRL, I don't think so. In a game, yeah; played a good deal of FF 40k with somebody whom clearly goes here.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Character building, as a person. I come here, I do shit, I get told off if it's stupid shit, I learn from what I did, and I don't need to be anxious about it following me. Or see people do stupid shit and know not to do it myself. One year-long endeavour on /a/ gave me powerful insight into the misplaced hate which plagued my late teens, and really helped me put it aside for good.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Of the moments I was present for, I genuinely enjoyed Touhoufag's 4E stats.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
That all-skeleton party writeup, with Rougrande and Zasta. Maybe some other writing, but my memory's rusty more than two years back.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I'll stick with /a/ and /d/. If all of 4chan goes down, I'd probably keep an eye on various imageboards until a 4chan successor is chosen by popularity.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you? Very recently, I think a year or two back? When I was 18?

I don't recall when exactly I first visited /tg/ but I've certainly been coming here for a very long time. I think the first thing I remember bringing me here was 40k in general. And the smut. /tg/ from back then was a little less... restrained than it is now.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
It's allowed me to view criticism of any stripe as useful, rather than an attack on the individual (even if it is actually an attack). You just need to sift out the shit and the negativity and focus on the intent or message.

The Ship threads and the Chapter Master threads. Both were and are great ideas that need to be developed further, I think.

Hmm, 2005 or so. Started with /b/ and /r9k/ when it required original content and I was sick of copy pasta from b. Don't know how I transferred to/tg/ because I had never played the games.

Now I've played several games with people from the board, done a great deal of erp as well here. Attended several quests when they weren't as prevalent as they are now. Now I just lurk in the chapter master and tes threads while posting in the star wars general.

I'd like to think I've contributed some good art for star wars, and an equal amount of horrid nightmare images from fan sites.

/tg/ has become something I have no less than three tabs open on my phone at all times, and living in worst Korea it is one of my ways to see higher forms of English beyond small talk. It keeps me sane.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2011 or 2012 was when I began to regularily browse /b/. At the age of 18/19.
I was aware of 4chan a bit before though It's "weird" organisation held me off for awhile. Threads seemingly vanishing and all that

>What first brought you to /tg/?
A friend invited me to play some D&D. After a few sessions just went back and forth, since no one really knew the rules (playing 3.5) I remembered that theres /tg/ which I just peered in a few times before. After actually browsing it for some time it became my mainstay.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I don't think. Not much /tg/ers in germany I guess.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Made me see things differently.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I haven't witnessed the thread, but I love the meatbread one

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
nothing I guess

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Whereever the rest of you faggots gatheres I guess. You are a magnificent lot.

How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Found a link to /b/ somehow, probably on a game forum from the time. Don't even remember what year I started, but it was pre-/tg/, when Warhammer Wednesday was still happening on /b/. 28 now.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I have played traditional games since I was 6 or so(Epic 40k 1st/2nd ed, and some historical stuff around then), so naturally I eventually found my way here after Warhammer Wednesday was banished from /b/.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No, unless some of my group are secretly fa/tg/uys, which is doubtful because most of them are in their late 60s or older.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Introduced me to a far wider range of games, plus all the world building and quests from here give me things to think about. It really rekindled my love for them when my interest was waning because of logistical difficulties in actually playing them.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Hard to pick, most of my favorites are OC story stuff that gets posted, either world building or people posting summarized campaigns.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
campaign ideas, research and stuff for OC, and I play a bunch of quests because my group only does miniature games.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I have no idea, the thought of /tg/ dying terrifies me as I have looked for alternative and there is nothing even close.

>>37543351
holy shit, make a thread and people will come, I played that before you shipped out and suspended threads.
Its still one of my favorite quests.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?

2006, 17

>What first brought you to /tg/?

Was into D&D, Magic and Warhams in school

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?

No, my country doesn't have much of a gaming culture. I have met people from /b/ before.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?

I'm a lot more confident and knowledgeable. /pol/ is affecting me negatively atm.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

The 'can you find love on a battlefield' saga

>What have you contributed to /tg/?

The weird thread about toilet paper butter golems was mostly me, I derailed it at the start and kept the convo going (pic related). I may have been on LSD at the time. I created Shlicktau and her armour colours are how my Tau are painted IRL. Contributed on many worldbuilding threads and pushed for angry marines to have 'pounder assault marines' with two power fists.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?

Probably nowhere, Games Workshop has completely killed Warhammer for me, and I'm so far behind on magic- plus I'm 26 and too old for it. I usually just come here for lore threads and CYOA these days.

This place used to have some of the best threads on 4chan, I doubt anyone is still around from Warhammer Wednesdays.

About 4 years ago - so I was 16. I found it through the SCP foundation, actually.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
I saw CYOA images on another board and thought they were pretty cool - that brought me here.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I have at least one other in my D&D group. A player, rather than the DM. He mentioned it first, I would never bring it up.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Wasted a shit load of my time, taught me a new skill, introduced me to new books, films and games.

This idea will spiral down to edition war if acted upon. Otherwise it is nice and would represent /tg/'s RPG side pretty well. However, what about card gamers, figure gamers and miniature builders? What they could provide to him?

What about creating a CAD of 4 inch figure out of him and then send him the painted figure and a MTG-styled card about the powers of his figure? This would cost money and some effort.

So, in the first end of an age thread, some anon posted this story, saying that /tg/ posted it and it was the reason he got into larping.

Whats the background behind it? Complete fiction? Embellishment? How was it presented? It was certainly an interesting read. My experience LARPing is that you get four or five groups of assholes like the antagonist of the story, and the only way you can get away from that is if you come in with sufficient numbers and skill that they give you a wide berth (and in some games, the stats are so slanted in the old players favor that even that's not really doable, not entirely unlike the plot in the short story).

It wont let me reupload it, saying PDFs aren't supported even though I've seen PDFs posted lots of times.

Heres the link, if its not dead.

Back in 2004-5 can´t remember, should have been around 15 I honestly can´t remember how I ende dup here.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I was lurking on /b/ once and ended up here through a RPG thread, I never really left after that.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Several times, meet a few people from the game-finder thread and currently creeping up on two years of RT with a /tg/ group, shout out to benny.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I would not know, probably - I got into voice acting after doing a silly read when some Anon asked people to Vocaroo a sentence and I did a spin on it, realised I apperently have a plesant voice. So thats nice.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
In recent memory: The /tg/ other-side song, the CREED Tau-destroyer thread, plenty of old screen-caps also makes me laugh.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I ran Commissar Quest for awhile, then began lurking the voice-acting threads, still do a lot of write-faggotry.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I saw an image attesting to how untrollable /tg/ was which rattled off a laundry list of common trolls that beset the board, so I went to see it.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No. But online I mostly play with fa/tg/uys.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I dunno, it might have made me a depressive shut-in who lusts for men, but maybe I would have wound up this way anyway.

Does it count as a moment if it's a week long? Because Machina Dei development was a lot of fun.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
The /tg/ board on the other chan is basically the same shit but slower.

Unfortunately, I just don't got the "spark" that made me enjoy making and running a quest as much as I did back then. I know that people would probably still be interested in the adventures of a little jumping spider, or even in the Freak Quest, the main problem is myself.

Depression kinda sucks out the enjoyment you used to get from shit, which is why I no longer have the motivation or patience to work on a quest, as that sort of stuff, or even just drawing, is nowhere even close as enjoyable to me as it was back then.

I am getting help for my depression, but the progress with recovering from it is slow. I probably had suffered from depression for over 3 years, before I finally got help last autumn.
Maybe later this year, if I get my life back in order, I might entertain the idea of resurrecting spider quest.

Traditional games were always my main go to. I skimmed /v/, /k/, /co/, /a/, but nothing really tickled my interest. I hung around on /b/ and engaged in shitty stupid rps (Fucking Phoenix Wright and those stupid cat war/dog war things), and stumbled in to Warhammer Wednesday. It made me more confident as a writer. I won't say I'm good, not yet, but...I learned I could write.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
God damn 'for instance, penises.' Devil's Dixie. That time the board flooded with "VIRAL MARKETING" spam because of Cthulhutech. Any time Kharnwriter posted anything. Brian Consumptington. Rood and the door puns. Wallhammer Faulty Kai, Trigger Discipline, the time some dude actually took me seriously when I posted my setting idea and it was just me and him bouncing ideas off one another about fucking giant walking cities ravaging the landscape and then it sprawling in to something else, Grover Cleveland's stats, Taft alignment, mocking /new/ the first time they got kicked off the site, and a bazillion other things I've forgotten but which I'll occasionally remember and smile at the thought of. Christ I'm a loser.

I play games with my university club now but I've never met anyone from /tg/, I've introduced some people though bypassing /b/ entirely.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
No one ever taught me critical thinking I had to figure out the theory by myself and being here acted as reinforcement to discipline me in not tripping up and admitting the fact when I did, I know that sound odd coming from a 4chan user but knowing someone will come down on you like a ton of bricks when you make a mistake is a powerful motivator. I think /tg/ has made me a more hopeful person in general and pushed my away from the "Everything and everyone is bad deep down" narrative that younger me found attractive. The photoshop threads, the laughing elf being my favorite.

Going outside when I'm finally lonely enough, trying to find words to speak. Get burned a few times calling somebody faggot reflexively. I tell a dude off for only reading JRR Tolkien and doesn't even know who Elric of Melniboné is. One thing leads to another, he puts a knife in me. A trip to a hospital, meet a qt nurse who wonders why I'm so weird. Floored by her beauty I don't know what to say, so we part ways. Desperate to see her again, I get in more arguments, more fights. Become hardened streetfighter as I start to interest her. Proceed to oh god I know this won't happen.

I'm just going to sit in my room and play video games and die early from ordering pizzas.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
somewhere around 2008 I think, not sure. I was somewhere around 20 at the time

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I just skimmed through the boards and this seemed like a fun place

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Yes, at a larp back in 2013, Drachenfest

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
helped my english and it's always educating to see arguments from different cultures. Also I've found a few people with very extensive knowledge about a few stuff.

>What is your favourite /tg/ moment?
The rape factory. I find the idea hilarious and how /tg/ made it plausible

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
mostly larp threads and arms and armours threads

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I really don't know. Probably there will be nothing that would be as good as /tg/

/tg/'s been recovering.

Not really, if anything they are worse. Most nights we have 10+ quest threads running. You just don't see them like you used to due to the catalog and filtering.

Dude.

Find your local /tg/ club.

Alternately, get some webspace and a forum, and start one. Start recruiting, and start coordinating games and stuff.

University clubs are good for this, if that's an option for you. Many don't require you to be a student to join, you just pay your membership fee and you're good.

Just, don't talk to people like you're a /b/tard and you should be fine. Maybe you'll even meet a nice /tg/ gamer chick.

Me and a couple friends started an RPG club in university; that's where I met my current girlfriend. 2 year anniversary was just last week.

She likes urban fantasy TRPGs; mostly World of Darkness; and she likes to draw and watch slice-of-life anime. She occasionally makes quest threads. Not quite my interests, but there is definitely some overlap.

You should definitely work on not calling people a faggot online if you are concerned you're going to do it IRL and it will cause you any problems.
>>

That's really not very bad or difficult to ignore.

>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2011 I think. Around the time /vp/ was created. I was 17.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
Actually I only started coming on /tg/ in the last six months. /v/ was my main board for the longest time, but I eventually got sick of the endless shitposting and lack of any actual discussion. I had been playing RPGs at my uni's society for a year and a half at that point and decided to check out /tg/. It's been my main board since.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Maybe. I don't really ask if anyone goes on /tg/ or other forums, and I've never participated in a game finder.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Going on /vp/ got me to start drawing agian. /v/ got me into a bunch games that I wouldn't have played otherwise. /tg/ has made me turn RPGs into my primary hobby. I'm currently playing atleast four separate games a week this semester.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I love stories. It's always great to hear people's adventures and to share my own.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Not a lot actually. I'd like to start a JoJo Quest I've been planning for a while now, just haven't got a clue where to start with it.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Probably not back to /v/. I might head to /tg/chan.

At the time of recording there is seven quest threads on /tg/, three of which are done and just waiting to fall off the board.
>>
>>37548433
How do I filter out quest threads?

I had no idea I could make threads not show up.

I would love to not sift through the crap I have no interest in, and have the main page/catalog just show the threads I might actually look at.
>>
>>37548344

You are aware that games should always be a hobby and not a primary way of filling whatever void is in your life? This sounds weird on /tg/ but really, exercise and eat healthy, get lots of sleep and find something to study that isn't games. Games should be a reward for hard work, otherwise what's the point of it all.

Proud Murrican reporting in.
>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
October 2009. 21.
>>What first brought you to /tg/?
On my second deployment we had internet, which was quite the change of pace. I was looking for internet porn, recalled legends of the infamous "4chan," and checked it out. Immediately unimpressed, I started checking out the different boards, and when I saw "traditional games," I knew I found the place that I was going to spend the rest of my down time that rotation.
>>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Met a few fa/tg/uys, but never played.
>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
As a forever DM, I used to think I was pretty hot shit at world building. /tg/ has inspired me, on occasion, to step my writing game up. Also, it probably made me a good deal lazier when it comes to gaming. Why actually play when I can just read about "that guy" stories all day?
>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
/tg/ doesn't really affect my life like that.
>>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I rarely post. When I do, its DM advice or me getting on my high-horse and white-knighting for 2e/ A/OD&D. Seriously... play old D&D.
>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Honestly I'll probably start actually playing again.
>>
>>37548500
>three of which are done and just waiting to fall off the board.
Which would happen once new threads are made. That really doesn't seem so bad.
>>
>>37548433
There's less total quests and they have less spill-over. That's better in my opinion. The only way it's worse is that the percentage of faggy anime quests has increased.
>>
>>37548500
In addition there is one hundred and fifty threads in total, not counting the sticky.
>>
>>37548560
At midday in the US on a weekday...I have seen nights when we have hit 20+ quest threads.

Before having 4-5 quests going at once was considered a lot and Questfags would tell each other to spread out.
>>
>>37548502
It depends on what extension you're using. Based on your ignorance, I'm guessing you use the one built into the site. For that one, click the wors [Settings] in the upper right hand corner of the site (under the board list), expand the "filters" section, click "Edit", and then click "Add". This lets you set a bunch of different kinds of filters, but for quests specifically, put "Quest" into the text field, select "Subject" from the dropdown list, and check the "Hide" box. Also make sure that the "On" box is checked, though it should be by default, and then click "Save".
>>
Quests are a non-problem ever since the catalogue came into being so you don't have to trawl or continually refresh the first page of the board to find anything.

That you can literally just filter any thread with the word 'quest' in the op post to be hidden is just a bonus.
>>
>>37541181
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Probably around '08, but i had been to the site a few times before. Earliest visit was maybe '04-05 but that was barely even going through the front page.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
/b/ was my first board, but far too disorganized and uninteresting to me. /tg/ was the first board i found that appealed to my interests, and goddamn did it stick.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Recently (i think so, at least) one of my players began browsing /tg/ and more of the chan, and i know one other person who brows 4chan, though not /tg/ regularly. Bar them, i have had no IRL interactions with fellow channers.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Too much to list, but most notably 4chan has made me more cynical in general (aswell as reinforcing my laziness and apathy), and i have now played pen and paper with friends for about 5 years (my occasional d20 or RPG-related jests in computer classes being what started the group), and spend most of my free time either browsing 4chan, playing RPGs, or playing/planning/plotting things for the campaign(s).
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
There are just too many to note. I love this board.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Some imagedumps, discussions, links.. No OC, but that's not my forte.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I think 7chan had a /tg/ board? I don't know really, i spend so much of my time here that one might as well ask what i'd do in another country.
>>
>>37548502
Click on the settings button, then expand the filters and post hiding option, check the appropriate boxes, and then add the word "quest" to your filter of subjects. This will get most of the quests, you then have to manually add faggots like the "For House and Dominion" guy who refuse to put quest in the subject line. You can do the same thing on the catalog page, though the catalog doesn't discriminate by title so it will hit anything that has quest in its OP as well.

I've got Appchan X, but I've noticed it has some issues in creating new threads and posting pdfs. Is there a better greasemonkey script that I should be using instead?

Also, thanks.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
Oooh, back in either 2005-2006, when I was 17, so underage b& back then. Fuck I feel old.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
I was actually linked to it from /co/. We were talking about something, got offtopic, and I probably asked about a sauce for a pic or something, and was told to check it out.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Yep. My buddy Alex who is both a fa/tg/uy and a nor/mlp/erson.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
That's a deep question. I enjoy the Anonymous culture. I did the Habbo raids, I did Chanology, I helped with ED, I migrated out during /b/-day, I came back a year later, I stopped browing when ponies were b&, came back for /mlp/, and so on.

I did become a better person. It definitely gave me a strong love for freedom of expression - I now think all censorship is bad by default. It also made me think that large groups of people, when outraged by something, can do a lot. Finally, 4chan is representative of my generation (not even yours). We had the internet as it was meant to be - free and unregulated, and not everything linked to social media. Finally, I occasionally browse the "self-improvement" boards like /diy/, /fit/, and /g/.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I dunno. Not that many. Most of the "glorious screencap" stories are shit. I guess the fact that /tg/ did come up with some original systems?
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Given DMing advice, done world-building, and found a way to balance casters with fighters in 3.5.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
With my two online gaming groups.

This thread basically reveals that I love half of /tg/, while i despise the other half.

Some of you guys are alright chaps. Real good folk.
The rest of you are cancerous scum that seem to be thoroughly invested in shitting up this board, while taking pride in doing so.

I guess the ratio's not that bad, but man, how amazing /tg/ would be if some of you guys just left. Sadly, the people who most need to go are probably the last to realize how poor their tastes are.

I'll give you a clue though. If you've ever tried to justify something by screaming "THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS BADWRONGFUN," you're definitely having badwrongfun on this board, and it suffers because of you.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
I was 16 or so when I first came to 4chan. I say "or so" because I don't remember when exactly, but I have a few clues from other things. I think I was looking up demotivational posters. This was in 2006.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
Interest in games and a screencap. I spent most of my time on /k/ until the Summer that Never Ended.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I've run in three unfinished campaigns with the same group of guys Most of us visit other boards, but the DM and I visit often. Oddly enough, we met outside of 4chan.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
In general it's made me a happier person. I read something exciting every day, I've tried out new things, and seen things that I'd have never imagined. As a side note, I've learned thanks to 4chan that any news media that's reporting on any subject is completely ignorant, and is pulling everything out of their asses and only touches on the truth of the issue.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
I've really got too many to count. The Necromancer with a cheese loving rat? The Time Wizards? Discussions on how Star Trek should work? It's like I change my favorite every day.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I've made a few CYOA for the Jumpchain series, made a starship that was a fish restaurant in Star Dust, gotten a large series of people groaning at terrible puns, introduced other gamers, tried out different systems. It's nothing exceptional, but it's something.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I really don't know. This place is almost a second home for me. There's a couple of other chans that I've been to, but they were always very slow paced because everyone was here. It's as though this were the Roman forum, and other places were a handful of intersections near a nice restaurant.

Personally I had hoped this site would become a sort of m00t dynasty.

>>37548920

>>
>>37541181
I came in 2004. I was 14 and loved to pretend I wasn't. My older friend Ryan had a message board and through him I learned about 4chan (specifically /b/).

After a few years of /b/ it went to shit and I went to /x/. Then /x/ became "Succubus wat do" (which funny enough was what /tg/ was like for a while but with elf slave) and I came to /tg/ apparently right after the mods started to give a shit and ban people for posting /tg/ porn. People were SO mad at the new mods. This was probably around 2010.

When my friend from college invited me to his group we all sort of subtly figured out that we were fa/tg/uys or /b/tards. They are exactly what I imagine most people on this board to be. Large and hairy. They are also the best group imaginable. For real, every time there's a THAT GUY thread I have a hard time believing that people can play with such shitheads.

4chan helped me out when I was really REALLY angry about everything. And now I'm a functional human. Things were always funny and I very vividly remember skipping classes in college to finish Ribbon's LARP story. That shit was pure gold. That'll probably be my favorite moment.

I don't post much. Mostly I asked for help with fluffing some Dwarves that didn't suck. It came out neat.

If /tg/ fails I'll probably just stop going on 4chan.
>>
>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
18. 2008.
>What first brought you to /tg/?
I'd been interested in /tg/ stuff for a while in meatspace, and since I started to move out of /b/, I went to co, v, and tg to start with. I ended up basically having /tg/ as my main board after Maidquest.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Yeah, a few games of Flames of War.
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Oh, jeez. Hard to say. I feel like I belong here, I'll say that much. I goddamn love the internet. 4chan's part of that.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Quests. All of them.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
A few Shadowrun builds, and a whole bunch of help for newbies. I got Infinity generals moving before many people played it.
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
I have no goddamn idea, but I'm going to be extremely sad if that day does come. Even hearing moot's going is kinda painful.
>>
>>37541181
>>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
2009, I was 16. /b/, mainly.

>>What first brought you to /tg/?
While I was on /b/, I was also freeform roleplaying on a website in the ass-end of the internet. I was told that /tg/ is all about roleplaying, which piqued my interest. I looked at the front page, didn't see much roleplay, but the stuff I saw was pretty rad and I stuck around.

>>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Kinda. A few friends I know admitted to being /tg/-goers when prompted, but I've never actually met up in real life with anybody I found on here.

>>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I was a massive autistic shitnugget back when I joined, but I've calmed down about life now. My writing and GMing have definitely improved as a result of /tg/ specifically, and I feel like I'm more fun as a person. That isn't to say there aren't bad points, mind. There is a laundry list of deviant kinks that I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have if /tg/ wasn't egging me on.

>>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
Deep Rot, probably. Maybe the first time I saw something I wrote reposted.

>>What have you contributed to /tg/?
Aforementioned writing. I'm really bad at characterisation, but I've been told my worldbuilding isn't terrible. I've contributed a few screencap-worthy snippets, mostly in warforged and necromancer threads, and I see them posted from time to time. It really makes my heart sing to know people like what I write.

>>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Not sure. I'll probably build a hollow composite out of things that cater to the different sections of /tg/ and then use that to fill the void until I discover where the people here migrated to.
>>
>people who think Ruby Quest was the first quest thread on /tg/

We get a lot of shit done. Look at all the worldbuilding and the systems that have come out of /tg/. Sure, it's not vidya or movies or whatever (Aside from Chapter Master, which was regarded as a joke until Duke descended from the heavens), but... /tg/ isn't really about vidya or movies. We're about settings and systems for telling stories. And /tg/ tells a lot of stories. Isn't that what the board is about?

With all the stories that have come out of this place, how can you claim that we don't get shit done?

There's nothing particular skewed one way or another about /tg/. It's a rather typical demographic, and I don't know why you're trying to convince people otherwise.

Never

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
I think it has made be better at understanding others' points of view, defending my own and really questioning why I hold the values I do. Mostly they were inherited, and 4chan helped me realise that and become my own person.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?

Well no, it was a question I asked because the statement stirred a memory within myself and I wanted to see if anyone remembered more clearly. I recalled similar discussions but not their conclusion, nor their specific details. You can tell it was a question because I used a question mark, there's no spooky social engineering going on just me asking if my recollection of events were accurate.

>What first brought you to /tg/?
Was tired of the constant shitposting on /v/ and I always had an interest for roleplaying games. Was introduced to /tg/ trough the storytime screencaps that get reposted ad infinitium.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
Currently playing with one online and I introduced some of my friends to /tg/.

>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
Gave me a better understanding of human nature if that makes any sense. Also made me develop my critical thinking so that I'm actually capable of deconstructing something and explain why its complete shit. By that extant it also made me into a cynical prick.

>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
No fucking clue.

>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I made some screencaps of the Old Man Henderson director's cut story as told by A Self Called Nowhere. I also made a handful of shitty MS paint pictures but that was for other boards.

>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Fuck I don't know. I don't actually browse /tg/ as much as I used to since I came to the realization that half of what gets posted here daily in the last two to three years has been generic animu quest #76, thinly disguised fetish horseshit, lelheresy or 30 more reasons why a game that I don't even play sucks; but it would be sad to see it go if only because this is the only place left to my knowledge where its possible to have a civil and/or intelligent discussions with minimal shitflinging depending on the subject matter.

Because you're not fooling anyone.

I'll let it go for now, since you're already in total defense mode and will deny everything as fervently as you can in order to protect your interests, but just keep in mind that your goals are transparent and pathetic, and your horrendous acts of spreading lies in order to achieve them is the reason you and your comrades will always face opposition.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
I believe it was around 2007 or 2008. I can't tell. I can only tell by the use of memes and shit like that that was popular on /b/ at the time. (Desu, when I was, the best) I was 19-20 at the time.
>What first brought you to /tg/?0
I have no clue. But it probably was my growing love for D&D around the year 2006-2007. I know I kind of got into D&D because of Order of the Stick, which I got into because of Ctrl-Alt-Del, which I got into because of PvP, which I got into because people posted a link on it on SuperHeroHype.
>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
I've met people who happen to also be on 4chan, but I've never met anybody I first knew from 4chan
>How has 4chan in general or /tg/ in specific affected you as a person?
4chan taught me to be jaded about a lot of things, how the world is going to shit and how I shouldn't even think of ever having a future. /tg/ taught me to have fun despite that shit. Truly, /tg/ is the best board out there.
>What is your favorite /tg/ moment?
All of them. I take the good and the bad.
>What have you contributed to /tg/?
I've posted ideas on various world building threads, I've played Arkham City once, I've played Chess once, I've participated in some random quests, I've posted about my characters, about my world and about other things that I find interesting. However, I don't think anything I've done has been important or worth remembering. Just another small cog in the big engine
>Where will you go if /tg/ fails?
Suicide. Or maybe I'll find another place. I don't know. There's always another place.

>How and when did you first come to 4chan, and how old were you?
I think the very first time I saw 4chan was /b/ on a lan.
It was odd. Went to page 2, wth, I saw this thread on page 1.
This was around 2005-2006 and I was 15-16

>What first brought you to /tg/?
I don't know, I haven't been here regularly until a few years ago.
I was getting into board games more in the mid 2000s and that drew me here.
Haven't played a lot of p&p, but it is interesting to read about.
Also I like discussing settings and such.

>Have you ever met IRL and/or played a game with a fellow fa/tg/uy?
No I am not the type of guy who makes friends online really. I know people who browse, or have browsed 4chan, not sure if /tg/ specifically.

>affected you as a person?
I guess it showed me how much peoples perception could differ on something. 4chan is seen as a hell hole to some.
For me it's a place to have a nice discussion, no glory, just your words and mine. Doesn't matter who I am, and it doesn't matter who you are. Just what we say.
Other forums you see a regular, that regular has friends on the forum and 8000 posts, there's a natural bias for many to follow him regardless if he's right or not.
Here we may throw around words like newfag and oldfag, but it doesn't really matter and the bias to the oldfag isn't apparent since it is not known who has seniority.
I was never the one to share much online, but I guess it reinforced the idea that one shouldn't do that.

>favorite /tg/ moment?
I felt more pleased than I should once when I got like 10+ replies for a joke in an oglaf thread.
Wasn't there for the best screencaps.

>contributed to /tg/?
I've made some people laugh.
Shared ideas about settings, given feedback.
Nothing special.
Posted some lines in maps, and posted relevant lotr pages to settle discussions I guess.

>if /tg/ fails?
In theory it could be replaced by another anonymous board for traditional games.
You can never go home again though.

Chapter Master IS a reality. It was released for real late last year.

I came here in 2008, and had no idea what the fuck was going on. My first board was /b/, of course, and didn't at first understand that a board could move so quickly, I thought there had to be some kind of trick to it, my only other experience with online communities was the unofficial Norwegian Nintendo forum (NUF IS BOSS) where I was, of course, an edgelord.

I tried 3+4chan, got banned for trying to force a meme (quoting someone and replacing a random word in their post with "fish" or "fishy"), went back to 4chan, and finally started liking the place. I frequented /a/ and /v/, then found /tg/ through the DF threads. I like it here, even though I've never played a pen and paper RPG (though I'm supposedly going to run a game of VTM at some point, a friend of mine bought a ton of the books).

Never met a fa/tg/uy, though I have that guy who made the giant gingerbread robot on Facebook.

4chan has turned me into less of a cunt lacking self-awareness, and more of a jaded asshole.

The only thing I contributed to /tg/ was helping scare away Scaredofshadows (though I think I've assigned more importance to my actions than is strictly realistic).

Seriously, I am pretty indifferent on both WST and the ERP threads, but if the fucking Role-playing one isn't allowed, the one without role-playing shouldn't be allowed either.
