Darkness initially envelopes Sierra Squad, but with the night-vision activated on their HUDs, descending down the tunnel becomes an easy task. With no hostile resistance as of yet, the squad of commandos are making great grounds towards their mission objective; Discover what the tunnel is used for and if it's a seperatist hangar like Command fears, then you are to disable the ships and kill any high profiled seperatist that you find within. Soon enough the tunnel walls grow wider and before you know it, you find yourself in a large undercover complex. You spot several ships docked around the large room, with battle droids and SBDs patrolling around the perimeter.

"Command was right.", Ones notes, pulling out something from his backpack, "These are Ion charges. Attach them to the ships and once every single one of them are attached, Chief can detonate them. Sounds good?"

With silent movements, you point out the teams for this operations; Ones and Joker takes care of the eastern wing of the complex while Mute and yourself goes through the western side. Ion charges are distributed between the two smaller teams before they split up and spread out, sneaking through the darkness. Mute is on your heel the entire time as you move silently together from ship to ship, placing the Ion charges underneath their hulls to avoid detection. Once you reach the last one on the western wing, you double back to the exit again. However, before you can reach it, the lights in the hangar activates, blinding you for a second before you can turn off the night vision on your HUD.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are.", a female voice most cruel, mechanical, and sinister calls out, "Commandos work in squads of four, no?", she continues and her tone is gripping your spine, but you remain calm and collected as you peak past the edge of one of the ships. By the end of the room, close to the giant blast doors that are supposed to be the doors for any ships taking off, you see your two brothers on their knees, their hands clasped behind their backs. Around them stands six BX Commando droids, aiming their rifles at the commandos. The other battle droids and SBDs are scouring the room, looking for you and Mute.

"Delaying the inevitable outcome will only prompt punishment, Commandos.", the ice cold female voice echoes in the complex. You can't pinpoint her location, but it's not near your captured squad members.

An Ion grenade in hand, you take aim and put your strength in your swing as you throw it. The BX commandos notice it while it's in mid-air and immediately tries to get away, but alas, the Ion grenade explodes right as it reaches the floor. The electrical pulse sends the droids crashing to the ground while your two captured commandos writhe in pain before they too fall to the ground, their entire nerve system stunned for 60 seconds. You and Mute immediately rush forward, rifles at the ready. Any droids that comes out from in-between the ships gets blasted without hesitation nor mercy. You grab onto Joker while Mute pulls Ones up on his back. The plan is to get them to cover and wait out their current state before counter-attacking. However, when you're about to throw Joker onto your back, you hear a single shot fired on your six.

Mute twists and turns in pain, trying to resist every little bit of it before he too falls to the floor, stunned. He was just shot by an Ion round.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, I told you to come out, not start fighting back.", the female voice mocks you and you turn about to face her, rifle at the ready, however you find yourself face to face with 15 battle droids, 4 SBDs and a feminine-looking droid or a woman in a full armoured suit who's armed to the teeth, "Consider what you do next VERY carefully, Commando.", she continues to mock you. There's a ship nearby to your right that could serve as cover, but Mute is still stunned and Joker and Ones stunned states are not over yet. They would be targets lying out in the open for enemy fire.

"Drop your weapons and surrender, clone.", her order is firm and her tone confident. She's absolutely sure that you'll comply in this situation.

You decide that there's no other way but to comply, or at least fake it. Shooting at her would only kill you and your brothers, trying to stall or defy her might get her annoyed and end with your death, and throwing yourself into cover would put your brothers at harm. While you drop your grenades, rifle with its attachments and your hand blaster, you keep your wrist-mounted vibro blades safely hidden for now. She orders a pair of battle droids to fetch your weapons. You don't move an inch while they collect yours and your squads weapons and grenades. The detonator is hanging by your waist, but apparently neither the droids nor the woman takes note of it.

"State your designation, the name of your squad and what your mission here is.", the order comes from the woman just like before. It's obvious that she's the one calling the shots for this platoon of droids. You've never seen any holo-pictures or holo-videos of her armoured suit before in your flash trainings. It looks extremely advanced, but so is your katarn-class commando armour as well. Eyeing her for a couple of seconds, you resign in the end and explain yourself, "Designation 01/145, Commander of Sierra Squad.", but like the loyal soldier you are, you refuse to tell her about your mission. It would ruin the surprised face she'll make once you decide to detonate the charges. There won't be any grand explosions, but the sight and sound of all the ships in the hangar being destroyed at once from within would draw most people's attention. She stares you down.

"You have something that belongs to me.", the statement is followed by the woman holding out her datapad, "The other half of this data. Give it to me." - at this point Joker and Ones can move again but when they try to rise, the droids aim at them, prompting the commandos to stay on the ground.

"So she's the one who stole half of the data back in the hive spire.", the thought strikes you as you pull out your own datapad; You're not about to willingly hand over the datapad with the actual data on it, even when you're bluffing. With slow and calculating steps, you start to make your way towards the woman. All the droids but a selective few have their blasters trained on you and by now your entire squad is out of their stunned stasis. When you're only a few meters away from her, she calls out for you to stop and you comply. However, when a droid comes over to take the datapad, you throw it straight in its face, pulls it in close and keeps it in front of you as a shield against the first barrage of blaster shots from the droids in front of you. The detonator finds its way into your hand and with a click on the trigger, several wide pulses emits all throughout the complex. Every single ship in the hangar shuts down and smoke rises from several of them already. They're all ruined.

While the droids panic from the sound and the smoke your squad gets up and rushes for their weapons. You push the droid with all the blaster holes in it towards the woman and leap at her with your right vibro blade ready for the kill. Although your plan was executed flawlessly, you did not count with the womans lightning reflexes; She just barely dodge your attack, but you bring in your left vibro blade that she was unaware of.

The jetpack she had on her back immediately starts to screech and gas pours out of it. While launching herself backwards, she detaches the jetpack, sending it to the ground where it continues to wheeze and scream before it explodes right in front of you. You back away from the licking flames, spotting the woman on the other side of the fire. You can hear a firefight going on behind you; Your squad must be fighting the droid platoon.

The woman pulls out a long and black blade the second you throw yourself at her. If you'd have to take a guess, you'd wager her blade is pure cortosis. The metal that can withstand or even deactivate lightsabers when it comes in contact with it. It's not only expensive as hell, but also quite rare. This woman is full of surprises. Both opponents clash with their blades swirling about, striking, thrusting, slashing, parrying and dodging. It's more of a dance of blades than a full-on fight between two soldiers. Her reflexes matches yours and her training might be different than your own, but you keep the edge up against her.

When her blade thrusts forward, you parry it with a slash and follows it up with a counter, aiming for her chest, only to watch her evade it and bring her own blade down upon your wrist-mounted vibro blade, keeping it locked beneath her arms weight. However, you have two blades and with yet another thrust, your other blade is free when she decides to dodge your blow. The dance continues while the sound of blaster fire and the occassional explosions carry on in the background.

"You're the first clone to keep up with me.", she compliments you before she leaps forward in a horizontal downwards slash. You meet her blade with both of yours, locking you two close to one another as one tries to gain the advantage over the other. By this point you've already figured out that she must have cybernetic arms to match your arm strength. Her slender figure doesn't compliments her actual strength. Once the lock between you break, you both take a few step away from each other. Both of you are trying to analyze and figure out what their opponent is going to do next.

Much as I don't want to waste time she's proven her worth in close combat. Find her weakpoint and hammer it until she breaks.

Her arrogance is the first one coming to mind. She's pretty cocky. even if she's got the skill to back that swag level up so far.

Fighting her full on doesn't seem to yield any results, so you start to fight her more passively, resorting to only parry and dodge her every attack. It's obvious that she's getting annoyed at you from the way her fighting changed since you started with your passive play, but she has yet to let herself slip up. That is, until you spot that whenever she attacks with her blade from your right, she leaves herself open from her waist down on her left. As for trying to figure out how her pattern of fighting is, it's quite random, but controlled. She remains unpredictable throughout the entire fight to make it harder for her foe to figure out how to counter her. Smart girl.

Upon slashing at your right side, you spring to action, leaping forward in a dodge, cutting at her left leg. The blade connects and rips open a small hole in both her black cameo pants and her skin. Blood trickles out from the cut in her leg. It's not deep, but it must hurt to put weight on that leg now. When the fight resumes, she only laughs at you.

"Do you really think this will stop me?", she mockingly question your tactic, but you're already noticing that she is putting less and less weight on her left leg while fighting you.

From what I can tell she fights at her best against offensive enemies trying to push her off guard. Her taunts alone tell me she's hoping for a quick finish while she's still able to fight off the pain. Probably wants to return the favor for that little counter by luring us into a heavy hit.

Much as I'm worried about Sierra I'm sure 3 commandos can handle a pack of clankers when the commander they're programmed to listen to isn't able to give an order or support them with that fucking ion blaster.

In mid-fight, you switch from fighting passively to defensively; You go from only lightly parrying and dodging to parrying hard, dodging more often and putting in the occassional fake counter to keep her moving about on both legs. She is progressively starting to lose this fight and she knows it just as well as you do. Her countermeasures are slowly starting to appear more desperate and her attacks from her left side are a little bit slower than her former speed and the one she has on her right side. Suddenly she freeze up and the sound of blaster fire in the background dies out. You can't well turn around to see which side won out of fear for another attack from your opponent, but since you haven't been shot in the back yet, you assume that Sierra Squad won. As it should have.

The woman backs away from you and sheaths her blade. You follow her with wary footsteps, watching her every move. When three other white figures join your side, the woman throws something onto the ground in front of her. It explodes when it breaks against the floor, filling the entire hangar with white smoke.

"Did you really think I'd be stupid enough to face off against four commandos at once?", her voice is void of her mocking tone and is instead filled with ice cold hatred and scorn, "I'll kill you next time, Commando.", and with that you hear her sprint away, towards the tunnels exit. She moves awefully quickly despite her wounded left leg. You're about run after her when you hear the loud sound of countless marching footsteps from the entrance and exit of the Tunnel. She must have tried to stall you till her reinforcement arrived. Once the smoke clears, you won't be able to fight off the incoming platoon of droids. From the sound of it, they're way too many, even for a four-man commando team.

Well lets hope we made the good call. I can't see us sneaking past an entire horde of clankers without bumping into them somewhere.

This has been one of the better quests I've read lately, every choice feels like it matters and characters are fleshed out and acting on their own accord instead of feeling like puppets on strings.

That part with Joker's near miss with a breakdown was interesting. Also the "Brothers" moment was had there. Manly tears.

There must be a terminal or console around here somewhere!", calling out orders was better than doing nothing at this point, "Ones, set up a perimeter with breach charges as close to the entrance of the hangar as you can, before the droids arrive. As soon as enough droids have past it, detonate all charges.", with Ones and Joker off to do their duty, Mute is left standing by your side, "Assist Ones with the charges." - And after Mute jogged off, Sierra Squad has started their plan to escape the trap the Seperatist woman sprung upon you. What was she even? Who was she? She had a jetpack and an advanced suit of armour, much like Jango Fett; Does that mean she's mandalorian? A bounty hunter? Or maybe a funded mercenary? A lot of questions filled your head, all screaming to be answered, but you had no choice but to block them out. If you lose your focus now, you're bound to die down here with your squad. That can't happen. You promised Joker otherwise.

Once Joker reported back that he has found the terminal with the blast door controls, you hear several explosions erupting from the tunnel leading in and out of the Hangar. Within seconds of the explosions, Ones and Mute comes jogging back.

"Charges have been detonated, Chief.", Ones report, and Mute cuts in, "Approximately 24 droids destroyed. Still coming." - Must be a whole lot of droids then.

And as if something answered your prayers, the blast doors started to move apart from each other, the sunlight of the surface shining down into the Hangar. "Sierra, form up on me!", you call out right before you start to run for the light followed by your three brothers. Although you completed your main objective and the ships in this hangar are now obsolete, the woman still got away with her half of the data.
