Hey guys, no intro this week, let's just try and have fun.

Last time, we were discussing about the demon invasion with our friends, and deciding on how to best prepare for it.
>>
>>37858496

We are live now.

Lit of big choices now. At least some lead time should help.

Ironically this will end up pushing the alquins to arm more too.
>>
>>37858623
Even if Alquia arms up, we can invade them and initiate regime change under the auspices of the Celestial Empire reasserting control over a rebellious colony.

What about the Yellow leaves Kingdom?
Are we still at war with them?
>>
>>37858669

I am not worried about them, i am taking it as a good thing. When thens go bad there people wont be helpless.

I think yellow leaves petered out, they never really went to war just did a bit pox on both houses.

We have no know IC contacts with them however.

We do know OOC of a princess however.

I do want Eldric to interview anyone who has fought dem9ns in the past too, and records of past incurrsions.

yes but pretty much nobody gives a fuck. What are they gonna do, shoot an arrow at a passing rockitship a mile up in the sky? The only ones that really care are the villagers that used to live on the edge of the forest and got displaced, and the elves who went into exile as a protest, escaping the regime, or other such reasons (ie most of the elves in our chess club).

Well, if we could modernize them, they may be useful later, I imagine.

So let's see... we are distributing the info on the mana cores to the coalition nations and helping them assemble (relatively cheap) golem armies to defend against the demons, right? making some shipyards in the empire, and probably need to send a diplomatic mission to black lake, silverspire forest (totally different elven kingdom that is part of the coalition), and Bastion.

Anything Im forgetting about?

Unrelated. Im thinking in playing eldar. Its weird cause I hate them, but their models are so fun and colorful...
>>
>>37858496

Awesome, like the slice of life aspects of this quest.

We need to beefcake it up. That fight with asmund's dad wrecked the shit out of us. We're pretty strong, in fact one of the strongest fighters out there, but we need to montage it for the demon army along with creating an army ourselves to stop it.
>>
>>37858742
There's talking with Euphrosyne and our family's majordomo about demons and how to fight them.

Also talking with General Lee back in the Celestial Empire to begin sending the army into dungeons to level them as well as to collect materials and funds for the infrastructure projects.

There's the big ball that we're supposed to be throwing at our manor in the Empire in a week.

Talking with Okaba about how he's going to take power when he goes home, and if he needs a flotilla of rockit assault carriers and a golem army.
>>
>>37858742
What's going on with our Archdruid Honey Fairies, and our Honey Hegemony messenger network?
We need updates from our chess club, the department we're in charge of in the Empire, and our manor's affairs.

The bees are probably the only way that we'll be informed that there are things requiring our attention before something breaks down completely. If the messengers weren't around to help NPC's remind us of things, we would go ahead and forget about our responsibilities like what happened with our Chess Club, the Department that we are supposed to oversee, and our manor's affairs.

>>

Hey I just like bees in general. Besides, aside from providing honey, they could prove useful in other aspects. The queens at least have total self-awareness. A leader needs good advisers, and as colony forming insects in essence share many of our own human drives (look up the concept of eusociality, they're the only things that beat us out in that department) they are in a good spot to advise us on how "the masses" will take certain measures.

Oh well, sorry to have made you wait so long. Going to go get a new one tomorrow morning I guess

"Well, how DO you plan to take over. How does succession works in your realm?" -asks Asmund while looking at Okaba across the small garden
"I will have to either convince my siblings of following me, force them, or prove in an irrefutable way that I am the most qualified"
"I am sure you are their best option" -says Lyann, trying to be supportive- "But that sounds difficult to do"
"You would have my support, but I am not sure how relevant it would be. Our realms are just too far apart" -says Honoria
"I..." -starts saying Eldric

>"...think Honoria has a point. I can go with you and say you have Eopolis' tupport, but I don't know how relevant that would be"

That doesn't take into account local cultures and social mores, and so it would be a terrible source of advise.
Just because humans have a form of eusociality (which is still debated by actual biologists and sociologists), doesn't mean that bee society can advise a human one.
Especially when humans choose to be cooperative while invertebrates do not choose.

this sounds funny. I can see a storm hitting the ships and costing a few ships, then another and costing golems, then fighting a horde of dragons, and each time, okaba just asks if the tree is ok.

The crew has no idea why that little apple tree on a pot its important at all, but as long as nothing happens to it, okaba is like "whatever"
>>
>>37859508
>>"...think Honoria has a point. I can go with you and say you have Eopolis' tupport, but I don't know how relevant that would be"

A personal touch may not mean much, however you do have close contacts with both us and the Empire.

You also helped pioneer a lot of new enchantment techniques not to mention the mana generator which is revolutionary long term for everyone in the world.

Your personal ability as a mage is nearly unparalleled, few have reached the heights you are at now.

>>"... am ready to send several rockit ships with you, that should help, right?"

Perhaps a personal custom ship as a gift, along with help/knowledge to set up your own local production of Rockit ships also.
>>
>>37859552
True, but I find the case that we have it nigh unassailable. No other creature besides colony insects forms communities as large as we do. You never see chimp cities composed of millions of chimps or wolf packs composed of millions of wolves. You do see that in humans though. Entire civilizations composed of billions of humans working in concert, only insect colonies can compare. Indeed, solitary confinement will break many a man's mind due to lack of "social" stimuli. On some level, we seem to need it.

Alright, it seems like you guys want to send a small fleet and a group of ambassadors, then? I was thinking that while runic/artifact tier items are pretty common for us by now, they aren't everywhere, so we could send a couple of chests full of them as well to help impress the current king. It's not as if we'll miss them a lot or anything
>>
>>37859919

We are likely sitting on full suits of runic to us that is junk, but worth thousands a piece. We likely have full suits of custom 6 slot legendaries too.

With our stats, and drop mods amoung everything else, clearing 80 floors of a dungeon is not an issue.

The stuff also likely will be more impressive when Okaba shows his Pops through the glasses too.

Kinda like the armories the Lightbringer family has. So full of bling, could just open a smithsonian sized museum with the stuff.
>>
>>37859862
>Indeed, solitary confinement will break many a man's mind due to lack of "social" stimuli. On some level, we seem to need it.
The same is true of any other social animal. We've done experiments on apes and found that they all have psychotic breaks just as humans do when placed in lengthy solitary confinement.

And one of the major reasons ape and wolf populations can't get too high is because of their lack of agriculture, so that argument has nothing backing it.

And whether humans are eusocial or not doesn't matter to the question of whether an insect eusociety can advise a mammal eusociety.
All eusocial means is that there is a social structure that fulfills certain criteria.
>>
>>37859919
And don't forget the tree!
Having a means of instant travel and reinforcement will help Okaba, and being able to bring the leaders of the Coalition in an instant will help his case.
>>
>>37859862
Unless we're going to move towards a caste-based society where only the top ruler can reproduce, and the lower castes are controlled through pheromones and genetic manipulation, how is a bee society going to be able to give us applicable advice?

wasnt it the tenchi muyo universe where the ships were basically trees or had a giant tree growing somewhere inside? just thinking it would be useful for fast deployment, communications and ship to ship travel

Anyway...
***

We convince Okaba to let us send him with a small fleet of fast ships carrying gifts to help impress the court back at home. Of course, at least one of the ships will also be carrying a tree we are familiar with "as a symbol of friendship".

With a small arsenal of relic items, a few dozen golems and some other shows of the technology he has helped develop, we hope it will be enough to help him seize the throne in a peaceful manner.

Of course, this also means that he will need to delay his trip at least a couple of months while we build said ships, but it will still be much shorter, overall, than it would be even if he was to leave now.

Having agreed to it, we go back to the meeting room and explain our intentions to the rest of our friends there.

"We still need to bring Silverspire, Black Lake and Bastion to the table" -says grandfather while sitting towards the left of the table

As the patriarch and by default lord of the keep, he probably should sit at the head of the table, bit he arranged seats so the head remained empty.

"What do we do about Yellowleaves? shouldn't you try and call for peace?" -Asks Ren- "The elves we have meet in Albion are nothing but polite and kind"
"Well, you see..."

>I always thought we would just sort of leave them be. They dont really bother us and we dont really need them

>I think that the "war" they have going on with us is just a way to keep their people under martial law. I doubt their leaders want peace to spoil their ruling.

It's just a perspective they can offer. You need multiple perspectives and a bit of humility to arrive at good policies, otherwise your policies have a good chance of going south. More perspectives, better choices. You need to hear the story from everyone it's gonna effect, as the bees are going to be a part of our society, we need their side of the story too.
>>
>>37860311
Yeah, that was Tenchi Muyo.
The Juraiyan ships were living trees, so I suppose we could use Archdruid powers to grow a tree into a rock-it ship.
>>

>I dont know anyone there. Maybe if we asked around in the chess club?

That... actually sounds doable
>>
>>37860311
>>I dont know anyone there. Maybe if we asked around in the chess club?

We might have some refugees who know the political situation better.

Need more information.

However the whole war is weird. We backed off quickly afterward. How come they haven't just taken peace after the skirmishes is weird. The isolation must be upsetting the populace, they should have a lot of relatives out in coalition territories.

Travel and trade would be suspended or reduced.
>>
>>37860370
If we grow it around a massive mana generator, we could have multiple power systems.
The leaves collect solar energy, which feeds the tree, which feeds into the mana generator to generate mana.
When there isn't much light, the mana generator supplies the tree with mana.

The problem is still, what powers the mana generator? An enchanted turbine?

well, it depends. If they are trying to be isolationists like china was at some point, and then how japan was at some point, the rulers may be enjoying this state of "war"

I just spent a few minutes looking for a certain letter a chinese minister sent to the british... I did not find it and I read it yeaaaaaaaaaars ago so indulge me, but it was something like this:

All things are found within the borders of out heavenly empire, and we lack nor need for nothing.
Take your opium elsewhere, for the borders of china are now closed to you. You have nothing we need, and we have the tea you so desperately need.

Then it was basically a "piss off or we wont sell you tea anymore" which... I dont know how vital tea was for the british, but then the british invaded china and it was a mess...

The elder council on Yellowleaves has such a view of the world. In their superxboxhuge forest they can farm, hunt, craft and whatever whatever they need, and they dont need foreigners giving ideas to the people, so they are very happy with this war where they dont actually have to fight anyone yet they can use as excuse to keep the borders closed and martial law in effect. Not to mention its a great excuse to keep the power that would normally be of the royal house.

>I dont know anyone there. Maybe if we asked around in the chess club?

"Well, alright, but while building some fast ships won't be more than waiting for a couple of months, what do we do about the other coalition countries?" -asks uncle Wolfric
"I will visit them, deliver to them the news and begin readying them to fight. I'm not a good polititian, but I am good at getting people to work together" -grandfather says while sitting at the table- "Is that alright with everyone?"
"It is fine with me" -says Asmund
"And me" -adds Honoria

Ren clears her throat and rises her hand. It is a rather cute but still distinguished gesture.

"Yes, your majesty?" -asks grandfather
"This may seem obvious, but, can the empire enter the coalition?"
"That would..."

What i would propose is instead something less intimidating to others.

Economic agreements, open to all, allowing a reduction of trade barriers, mostly paperwork related and allowing easy conversion of currency.

The rockit ships will quickly expand trade and we should get ready for that.

The other agreement would be a promise of course not to work with demons and to alert everyone if some start to be seen and strive to eliminate them.

Along with an agreement to aid all involved in case of major natural disasters or the infrequent demon incursions.

>"Make us into the strongest alliance in the world, and quite scary to deal with. We want to be as friendly as possible when we try and bring people to the negoatiation table, so perhaps not right now?"
We can still be allies and trading partners, and still work together on a united anti-demon defense behind the scenes, until we have more nations in the Coalition.
Once its only smaller countries left, we'll simply invade and absorb them.

"Alright" -the tiny empress nods- "We understand. I will trust the duke on these matters"
"Thank you" -says Eldric

"Now that we are done, how about we end for today? we all have personal projects besides this, correct?" -says Asmund

With the count's suggestion, we end the meeting, and spread out throughout the keep. Since Okaba is going to delay his return for a while, he is quite interested in the currently inactive teleporters on the keep.

Asmund just wants to take the day to look around Eopolis.

Lyann wants to drag us our to one of the market districts so we can get souvenirs for everyone at home.

Ren wants to tag along and see what a major city looks like across the sea,

Thus we leave the keep through one of the lesser bridges and head for the city with both girls and our cousin.

"You said you wanted to meet the friend who came up with grphology, right?"
"Yes, of course. Can you arrange for that tonight?"
"Alright. I guess I will go check on him, then"

He bows to Lyann and Ren, and leaves back towards the military academy.

"Should we pick up Mako, your highness?"
"You'd have to treestride home and then back, would that not be tiring, duke? actually, we may enjoy teasing her about missing on this experience afterwards" -she laughs softly with a gentle "fufufu" while holding her right hand against her lips

Uhmm, Mako uses her other hand when doing similar gestures. Guess they are quite similar yet still different in subtle ways.

"That sounds so mean!" -says Lyann
"You would be fine sharing your duke with more girls, then?"
"I just said it sounded mean, not that I disagreed."

Thus, Eldric escorts Lyann and Ren through the markets of Eopolis.

Well, the first ring of the city (that is, the one immediately next to the keep) consists mostly of residential districts, with old, sprawling mansions and parks on it.

We need to take a carriage to at least the 3rd ring in order to find a market.

Eldric walks with the young ladies up and down the market place. It is a surprisingly modern building, three floors tall, with clean stalls, fountains, polished white floors and large open windows through which the breeze flows in, carrying the aroma of the ring of sweet-scented trees surrounding the marketplace.

The clerks and salesmen run clean, well stocked stores where you can look at and try the products of all over the coalition and beyond, with elven silkworm clothes next to bastion's jewel shark leather boots, and even the rare garsdian accessory, bracelets, cuffs and accessories so artfully crafted as to seem impossible.

A dozen garsdian roses, carved out of solid, massive rubies, adorn the sides of a white gold necklace a queen would envy, making a devadasi slave collar into a priceless work of art.

Ren and Lyann have fun trying out the local fashions, with large, terribly complicated dresses made of fabrics so light as to defy their bulky appearance.

Eventually, Ren decides to buy several ball and street dresses, interested in the complicated fashions across the sea. Of course, she buys 2 of anything she acquires.

Meanwhile, Lyann just enjoys looking at accesories, and purchases a simple, small but beautiful white gold, garsdian hairpin with which to secure her ponytail.

They both insist in helping Eldric purchase his ball clothes, of course, and somehow he can't help but end up modelling several suits for them, going in and out of the dressing room while the girls whisper and chuckle.

"Somehow, I feel like i'm on display, you know?"
"Oh, master, of course you are not" -says Lyann with a sweet smile- "Now turn to the left a little bit, and keep your back straight"

Ren chuckles sweetly, covering hermouth with her right hand.

It was somehow more exhausting than dungeoneering, but once it is finally down and over, Eldric is happy to take Ren home and greet Mako.

Of course, she is about as embarrassed as she is happy to see him. Blushing softly, she covers her pretty face with both hands when he gives her a smooch on the top of her head before leaving.

"Mako?" -Ren enjoys seeing her like that
"y-yes?"
"Why don't you ask him to take you shopping?"
"b-but I could not..." -she says, blushing even more
"Alright"

Back at Eopolis again, Eldric meets back with Lyann and they go to the manor together. It is still very much the house cousin Alard grew up in, and it is more convenient to go to school from it, so he is still living there at the moment.

Our cousin meets us at the door and welcomes us in.

"My friend Erion is in the library's studio. Do you want to freshen up before you meet with him? you can use the same rooms as last time"
"Thank you, we will"

"our" room is just as we remember it. The bath is warm and nice, and after changing into fresh clothes, we pick Lyann at her room and head over to the library.

Erion is a young goliath, measuring about 7 feet tall, albeit with a build that reminds us of a basketball player rather than the brutal, musclebound body type that seems to be the default in every goliath we have met before.
He stretches a massive yet thin hand and greets us, than bows as he greets Lyann, and kisses her hand.

It looks like some sort of giant bird trying to eat her, but lets never say that out loud.

"It is an honor and a pleasure to meet you" -he says politely
"Likewise"
"Charmed to meet you" -says Lyann, used to looking up at grandfather

On Alard's request, we all take a seat, and begin talking to eachother.

Eldric explains to Erion about the linked notebooks, and suggests something similar, allowing people to link together countless such devices across many nations.

"It would be a international network of researchers, some... internet?"
"Oh, that sounds interesting" -he doesn't seems to blink or think anything is out of place in the conversation- "How does the transmission between notebooks work? it can transmit images, correct? what if we use my graphology box to summon a picture into its pages? would it appear in every other notebook as well?"

Well, if he comes from earth, he must have lived in a strange place where there was photography but no internet. Of course, maybe he comes from another time? perhaps he's just a bright young genius, like Okaba

Also, his graphology is a mix of magic and science. It requires some cheap coal tablets, that a magical tool turns into dust and uses to project the images unto a surface.

His "camera" is a box about a half meter per side, with the ability to project from one end what it sees in the opposite end after using a small amount og mana.

It really is not photography the way we understand it, after all.

Well, at least there's no tiny elf inside, painting and drawing. That would have been just facepalmingly weird.

It has some interesting applications, however. For example, it can paint over a massive surface if the distance from the graphologer is large enough.

"Can we shorten its name a bit?" -suggests Eldric
"I don't see why not. Do you have any suggestions?"
"How about a camera?"
"Why?"
"I like the sound of it?"
"...sure, why not, but only if you let me take a graphology of your lovely companion"
"Ah, I don't mind, but you should ask her"
"i-It won't steal my soul or anything like that, right?"
"I doubt it. I mean, if that was part of the process, then it could only be used once per subject, right?"
"..that sounds reasonable"
"By the way, I only want one graphology"
"..."
"I am jesting, my lady"
"Eldric, I don't like this young man's sense of humour, please smite him" -she says
"Wha-"
"I too, am jesting" -she smiles and pokes her tongue out a little bit- "But maybe no, just in case"
"Uhmm..."

uhm= but she's under 16. Shouldnt she go through another... uhmmm i think its called a growth spurt in english? anyway shouldnt she have another still?

Also, preparing and having sandwiches
>>
>>37864028

Keep her about 6-8" shorter then Eldric. How tall do we want Eldric to be. Will he mere be like a 6'2" or so, or be HUGE like grandpa.

If he is like 6'2" a 5'8" lyann works nice. I am talking final height though.

If we have Eldric be like 7' have her hit a late growth spurt then, have her top like 6'2". She would tower most everyone and look small next to Eldric.

I would say have Mako end in a similar hwight to her.

i forgot about that i thought she all ready had it.

I wouldn't mind if she eventually grew to equal Eldrics height, but she would really be a big girl then.

Nah, I'd rather keep Lyann shorter than Eldric, and not Amazonian tall.

I just realized why Erion's name was so familiar to me. Its because I named the world Eiren. Well, believe it or not, there's not relationship. Anyway, continuing

***

Erion takes our a portable stand and stretches is, then hangs from it a wide scroll slightly under 6" tall.

His camera is also on top of a stand, but this one is much more solid-looking.

"Now, if my lady could please stand before this side... yes, a bit further back."

He looks through a visor on the side of the box.

"Can I look at it?" -asks Eldric
"Certainly"

Erion steps back and lets us replace him. The "interface" shows us Lyann surrounded by a collection of magic symbols similar to the ones we used to make our linked notebooks.

"Lyann, don't stand so stiff, try a more natural posture" -says Eldric, then adds.- "Erion, does she has to stand still? how long does this process take? is it instantaneous or does it takes a few moments? what if she's moving?"
"It is instantaneous, she can move with no problems" -the young goliath says
"Alright, Lyann, please take a dancing posture"
"I'm not doing that, its embarrasing"
"Didn't you say you didn't care about other people's opinions?"
"I don't care about STRANGERS, you know? but Alard is not..."
"Alright, can you at least try to make a more interesting posture? ah, try walking towards the camera, very slowly"
"Alright..."

Uhmm... the runes and symbols on the "lense" change when she moves. Actually, the box, other than the visor, seems to be completely closed. Where is the lense?

Eldric looks at the camera again. There's no visible lense.

"Can I see a blueprint of it later?" -asks Eldric
"If you would let me see one for your notebooks"
"Sounds fine to me" -Eldric then talks to Lyann- "I'm sorry, but could you start walking again, slower this time"
"...fine"
"Not yet. Erion, how do you signal the camera to draw the image?"
"Ah, you need to press a small button on the lower left corner..."
"Found it, thank you"

"Alright, Lyann, please try walk... Erion, how many of those large scrolls you have?"
"Two. I do have plenty of smaller ones, however"
"Ah, Lyann, could you go change?"
"Why?"
"If we can take only two full body portraits, I'd like one in your new clothes, and one in your dancer's outfit"
"W-h but!" -she cries out

She does look so beautiful when she's embarrassed.

"Please"
"b-But..."
"Dancing girl first. That way you can change into your new clothes and keep them on for the rest of our talks"
"You are already assuming I will do as you say!?"
"Pleeease? I'll repay you later"
"I... I'll hold you to that promise!" -she says, crossing her arms and trying to look serious even as she blushes
"Of course" -Says Eldric with a charming smile

While she's gone, we try taking a couple of small portraits of Erion. The soulstealer bit may have been a stupid superstition back home, but this is a magical world, so testing it out its by no means a bad idea.

After a while, Lyann comes back wearing her dancer's clothes. Normally, she's not bothered by the looks of strangers, as she knows that to most people, whatever she wears as a dancer is perfectly normal, but being exposed to Eldric's obviously excited reactions has changed her opinion on the matter somewhat, and having Alard and Erion see her in her light, flowing dancing silks feels quite embarrassing, somehow.

"Before you ask, I am not going to dance" -she says preemptively
"That is fine, could you at least walk towards me on the tip of your toes?"
"Uhm... sure? like this?" -she naturally spreads her hands a little bit. It does look like a dance step.

Asking her to repeat the motion a few times to make sure of when its the best time to take the picture, Eldric finally "captures her" in between steps. It looks as if she's floating as she takes tiny leaps from one foot to the other.

The definition of the portrait its just incredible. Perhaps one should say "as expected of magic"?

It does bothers our modern sensibilities (if only slightly) that the picture is in black and white.

"Oh, I want to see, I want to see!"-naturally, Lyann steps quickly towards the full body portrait

"Somehow, it feels... different" -says Alard
"Ah... I somehow feel like I created a needlessly shameful thing" -says Erion
"Uhm? what are you two talking about?"

Eldric looks at the picture. Its quality is fantastic, indeed. It looks quite lifelike. This completely feels like a HD advertisement poster from a grphic workship or printing house, rather than a portrait taken on the very first years of phot-- graphology.

"Ah... I apologize, somehow, it just feels..." -says Alard
"...I know, right?" -says Erion, actually blushing a little bit
"Eh?... eh!? EH!?!?!" -Lyann says, blushing bright red and freezing as she looks at the portait

Apparently, whatever effect causes that the people of this world thinks of dancers clothes as normal and artistic no matter what they may be wearing, does not port over unto a dancer's portrait.

Well, does this means there is some global charm or enchantment in place? wait, does photography works as true sight, then?

"Lyann, please go change"
"Yes!" -she says, and leaves in a hurry, suddenly much more embarrased.

I'm guessing she's going to add another exception to the 'no sleeping with Eldric' rule. Pretty soon that rule will only be in effect on certain days of the week.
Then never.

well, it would be automatically void after the wedding anyway, no?

"Ah, Eldric, what are you going to do with that?" -asks Alard, while looking somewhat nervous
"I think I'm going to confiscate it"
"t-That's probably for the best"

Well, this is interesting, if this is truly some sort of truesight, then its value as a scouting and exploration tool would be priceless.

"So, Erion, have you given any thought to portraits in color?"
"But, it uses coal, how would we get colors?"
"I want to say that just by using other minerals, but I haven't seen the blueprints yet so I have no idea how it works. You can't think of anything?"
"Well, I could easily replace black for any other color, but it would still be just degrees of a single color. I assume you meant to have images with multiple colors, right?"
"Right"
"I'd have to come up with a way to mix the right colors in the right way. I imagine it would be quite different from what I have right now"

Talking about magical theory calms everytong in the room and soon the discussion steers back into a more scholarly tone.

After a while, Lyann comes back wearing her ball dress. She looks as lovely as we'd hoped for, and then some.

"Alright, maybe it would be better if you were sitting this time?"
"i-I think i'd rather stand"
"Alright"

The portrait, once again, its instantaneous. After that, we take plenty of small portraits with everyone together.

Well, of course, someone always needs to manage the camera, so there's that.

A few hours later, we exchange the blueprints and notes on the notebooks and the camera with Erion. Incidentally, using a page in any one notebook as the target surface in a notebook has the image appear in all the linked notebooks.

There is coal.

Maybe Red / Green / Blue stained glass then as a base?

Ruby / Emerald / Sapphire.

RES Standard.

More expensive, but worth it, especially in some situations.

That night, we are not the least bit surprised to hear a soft knowing on our door.

"Eldric..."
"Yes, come on in"

Lyann is wearing a long, soft-looking robe that reaches down to about her ankles, leaving just her small feet visible under its hem.

"You kept that portrait, right?"
"Yes"
"a-Alright... good night"

Well... it seemed certain she would want to cuddle in bed with us, but instead she just came by to ask about the portrait and wish us a good night.

Should we be worried about what favor she has in mind?

For now, we are much too tired to worry about it. After a shower, we collapse on the bed and go to sleep with a gentle snowfall going on right outside the window.

The next day
>We should ask around on the chess club about Yellowleaves

Monday we need to check with the chess club.

The bee's, it sounds like they already have a decent mix of equipment, I guess the idea of training to druids is not done by them.

Has Meil produced different castes yet? She should likely produce some noble types to serve as knight leaders for the colony.

Gaining nomad only if it goes on a long flight. A really really long fight. Works best if they are a musician.

In response they suddenly find their class switched to noble.

SO they do have knight bee's then. Do they ask Cedric for lessons then sometimes?

The Fae have honey to offer.

How does the world react if some of them get herbalist job and start getting higher charisma?

Do they get a lot of extra pollen, followed up by extra honey when they loot it from the honey combs?
