THESE are the closing days of the 41st millennium, and they are dark days indeed.

Abbadon's 13th Black Crusade has struck a major blow against the fortress world of Cadia, the stronghold barring the heretics and warp-spawn of the Eye of Terror from the rest of the galaxy; the Necrons continue to reawaken across the galaxy, spreading death and fear wherever they appear; the Tyranid Hive Fleets are slowly, but surely, closing in on Holy Terra; the Tau Empire continues to expand, propelled onwards by the pursuit of their 'Greater Good'; the Orks have begun to band together in preparation for a united, galaxy-wide WAAGH!; and the Eldar grow more and more desperate as their numbers dwindle and their empire crumbles.

For more than a hundred centuries, the God-Emperor has sat, unmoving, upon the Golden Throne of Holy Terra, His deathless state maintained by the daily sacrifice of a thousand souls. Even in His eternal undeath, however, the Emperor's Will is made manifest in the form of the Astronomicon, which lights the way for Imperial ships as they travel through the hellish immaterium known by many as the Warp.

But the God-Emperor, it seems, is dying. The Golden Throne that sustains Him is constantly degrading, creeping ever nearer to failure, and the guiding light of His Astronomicon has begun to flicker.

For the Imperium of Man, the future seems grim...

It must be noted, however, that things are not always as they seem.

System is D100 (best of three), roll-under, with highly simplistic modifiers and skill-levels.
Natural 1 = Critical Success.
Natural 100= Critical Failure.
Crits override non-crits.
Critical Failures negate Critical Successes and vice versa; Critical Failures negate five Degrees of Success; Critical Successes mitigate five Degrees of Failure.

To succeed on an average skill test, you have to roll UNDER 40.
That is, 39 or lower.

(This system is subject to change if it turns out to be terrible)

For as long as you can remember, you have known that the Emperor has a plan for you. You're not exactly sure how to describe it. It's just something you've always been aware of. Like you could sense His will as it guided you and the course of your life.

You can feel it.

Your actions are His will made manifest. You are to be His sword and His hand.

You are to change the galaxy under His watchful eye.

So, even now, in the face of what is almost certainly the most... unusual... situation you've faced in your young life, you are confident that what you are doing is right.

YOU are Bellatrix Curis, and you are...

>A novice, studying/training to become a Sister of Battle at the Schola Progenium. (No initial love interest; no xenos contact for the forseeable future)

>A Sister of Battle, with no actual combat experience as of yet. (Early choice of love interest; xenos contact: One [1] Eldar captive; potential forbiden love)

>An Inquisitorial Acolyte- a Sister of Battle- chosen by the Inquisitor to be part of her retinue as soon as you finished your education at the Schola. (Possible/optional early choice of love interest; xenos contact: moderate, with a decent portion of it being 'peaceful'; some potential for forbidden love to bloom)

>A Battle-Sister, part of a small scouting party that is now stuck in a bunker on a horrible death world with a party of Eldar of about the same size. Peace talks progressed remarkably well, and- given the sheer numbers of Orks, 'Nids, and natives of the planet, as well as the injuries sustained by various members of both parties- you'll all be there for awhile. (Early love-interest, but it's not so lovey-dovey in the beginning; xenos contact: high, with only the aforementioned Eldar being peaceful; forbidden love is almost certain)

You're a novice at the Schola Progenium, in training to become a battle-sister of the Adepta Sororitas, and, at the moment, you're busily donning one of the Schola's sets of Sororitas power-armor.

You're doing this, of course, under the careful scrutiny of Sister Superior Praetia, your primary instructor, whose cold, gray eyes seem to strike fearful obedience into even the other Drill Abbots.

You finish reasonably quickly, having practiced wearing the midnight black armor many times over the past year or two of your training.

Praetia gives you a quick once-over before nodding and gesturing to the door that leads to the armory. “Arm yourself, Cadet,” she says, even as she strides over to the door and performs the brief ritual necessary to open it.

You salute, bringing your right fist up to your heart, as the heavy-looking metal door slides open with the familiar 'KSSHHH' sound such doors always seem to make, then make your way into the armory.

Your boots clank loudly on the cold, hard floor, and, as you look about the room, your gaze lingers on the rack of flamers.

Flamers, it must be said, are pretty great.

A familiar tut-tut-tut-ing emanates from behind you, where, presumably, Sister Superior Praetia has noticed where you're looking. “You know as well as I do what happened last time you trained with a flamer, Curis. And the Tech-priests remember even better.”

You swallow the lump forming in your throat with an appreciable 'gulp,' then tear your gaze from the glorious promethium-throwing weapons.

You decide to pick your usual loadout, if only because it's the only thing you're really all that good with.

You select...

>A chainsword and a boltpistol. Close quarters /and/ short range. It's a classic!
>A pair of boltpistols. Dual pistols are the way to go, and you're quite the gunslinger!

You remove a boltpistol and its holster from the rack, fastening it to your belt on your right hip, orienting it so you can draw it with your left hand.

You can practically feel Praetia rolling her eyes. “I don't even have anything to say- nothing that hasn't been said a dozen times before, at least.”

You tuck as many spare magazines away as you can, taking a moment to blow a raspberry at your Instructor, one of the many who question your choice in armament. She smiles wryly, hefting a heavy bolter, and says, “I see you've matured, then, Cadet.”

You give a good old-fashioned 'Hmph,' and adjust your personal boltpistol's holster. “By the grace of the Emperor,” you reply, causing the Sister Superior to snort and almost drop her oversized weapon.

I always wondered how Sappho would react to her name becoming a term for a particular kind of sex.

Same question goes for Leopold von Sacher-Masoch

Speaking of which, is the MC set to be a conventional Sister of Battle, or could she become a Sister Hospitalier, Dialogus or Famulous ?

“Anyways,” you say, “what're we gearing up for?”

She shrugs- which, considering she's wearing power armor and carrying a heavy bolter, is pretty impressive- and, while nicking a few grenades, says, “Fellow came around, flashed an Inquisitorial Rosette, and asked that you- and your instructor- get battle-ready and report to him at the landing pad ASAP.”

You blink.

You haven't doen anything heretical, have you? You think on it for a moment.

Those tech-priests couldn't have been /that/ mad about that servitor... could they?

And, surely, an inquisitor would look into the incident and see that the stupid thing had wandered into a live-fire (literally) drill!

You notice Praetia's smirk, she notices you noticing her smirk, and she says, “I doubt it's because you've done anything wrong, Curis. More likely that they saw you using two boltpistols and thought, 'Someone should tell that poor girl to use a bolter, like a proper Sister'.”

You cross your arms and pout, and she snickers.

After a moment, you ask, “Is it really an Inquisitor?”

>“Yep. He suspects that some of the PDF here are heretics.”

Fade-to-purples?

If you're asking about lewds, the lewdest we'll probably get is stuff like kissing, hand-holding, and, in the case of an eldar waifu, ear-scratching.

If you're not asking about lewds, I've no idea what you speak of.

>Daemonette
>Not Slaanesh

It just doesn't really fit outside of fapfiction. Slaanesh is all about the hedonism, so sexy ladies and succubi are a logical extension.

But beyond stereotypical jokes (PMS rage, mindgames, maternal instincts) there's no reason or purpose for there to be daemonettes of the other chaos gods. They wouldn't solve a purpose other than someone trying to shoehorn sexy ladies in as many places as possible. (Not that I'm against that at times, but you can't go pretending that it's good writing.) The ONLY reason a daemon would exist in a form that we would find sexy is if it was part of its purpose - although I can see some traction in the idea that tzeentch might employ such things as part of some cunning plan to corrupt - but it still grossly impinges on Slaanesh. Which is basically what Tzeentch always does. First he steals our colours, and now he's stealing our women...

There's not even a good reason for daemons of any gender really, given that as far as I'm aware they don't breed in the standard sense.

“It really is. He wouldn't say what this was about, though. You'll understand if I didn't inquire any further.”

You take a deep breath, then let it out. “... Did he seem angry or upset or anything?”

She shakes her head as she leads you down the halls of the Schola. “Nope.”

Hmm. “And he didn't say anything like, 'FETCH ME THAT FILTHY HERETIC, BELLATRIX CURIS,' or anything, right?”

She laughs. “Nope.”

You scratch your chin, not realizing that you've become so accustomed to wearing powered armor that you don't even think about it anymore.

After a few moments, Praetia half-turns to look at you. “Now that I think on it... he didn't ask for you by name.”

What.

Fortunately, your instructor recognizes the look of befuddlement on your face, and explains, “It was almost like a riddle, y'know?” She furrows her brow. “Something about 'the girl with two arms- one her own, and one belonging to the Emperor,' and...”
She trails off, then gestures to the boltpistols on your hips. “One's yours, and one's the Schola's- and, therefore, the Emperor's.” She shrugs. “Anyways, he pretty much gave a spot-on description of you, Curis.”

You... you don't know what to think about that.

You offer a quick prayer to the Emperor, and you feel as if a wave of calmness is flowing through you, washing away your doubt and fear.

You are a faithful servant of the Emperor! You have nothing to fear from His most holy Inquisition.

Before long, you're stepping out onto the landing pad, where a large- not fat, just tall and broad- man wearing a very fancy hat stands, with his hands held behind his back and his true intentions probably hidden behind that smile on his face.

Behind him, a shuttle- an Aquila lander- sits, precisely in the center of the landing pad itself.

>Say hi.
>Compliment his hat.

You give him a proper salute, with your right arm across your breast, your left arm behind your back, and your heels brought together smartly.

Beside you, Sister Superior Praetia does the same, albeit with her left hand cradling her heavy bolter against her shoulder.

The Inquisitor nods curtly. “At ease,” he says, giving a dismissive wave of the hand.

You relax, as does Praetia. You also take the opportunity to compliment his hat.

“Thank you,” he says, “I'm rather fond of it.” He pauses. “To be quite honest, I'm rather fond of hats in general. I'm afraid it's something of a vice.”

… Inquisitors have vices?

Huh.

It's only human, you suppose, and even Inquisitors have to have hobbies, right?

“But enough of that,” he says, “Tell me, my child- do you know why it is that you are here?”

You blink.

“... Because a member of the Inquisition requested my presence?”

He chuckles. “That's true enough, I suppose. Do you know why I requested your presence?”

… Not really, no.

You tell him as much.

He nods, as if he had only asked the question to see if you might have had something on your conscience that you might let slip, and says, “You see, this is...”

“...a test, if you will. Of your faith, and of your loyalty. It is not optional.”

For several moments, the world seems to go silent. As if nobody on the entire planet is sure how one is meant to respond to a statement like that.

You blink. “Um... okay, I guess?” You scratch your head. “What kind of test are we talking about, here?”

“One of your faith and your loyalty,” he says, his voice even and his tone the same as it was before- this is only worth mentioning because it didn't send a chill down your spine the first time.

He looks up at Praetia. “Sister Superior, your presence is no longer required. Consider yourself dismissed.”

She glances worriedly at you, but she still salutes. “As you wish,” she says, turning on her heel and leaving you alone with the Inquisitor.

He gestures towards the shuttle. “Come.”

You offer a silent prayer to the Emperor as you enter the Aquila, and you feel an odd sense of foreboding. Almost as if what comes next is unfortunate, but meant to be.

“Make yourself comfortable,” the Inquisitor says, and you feel a sudden prick in your neck. He chuckles. “It'll be a long flight.”

You begin to fall, but everything goes dark before you even reach the metal floor of the shuttle's passenger bay.

You awaken to the sounds of distant gunfire, a retreating shuttle, and something that sounds, for lack of a better word, pretty.

That last one... it sounds like someone singing softly, but also ranting and swearing like a sailor in the same breath.

You open your eyes to see... light brown. Sand? Just were the hell are you? What the hell happened?

You blink a few times, trying to clear the fog from your mind.

The voice from before pipes up again. It sounds female, you think, and it's speaking Low Gothic.“... 'Trust the Mon-keigh,' he said. 'What would he possibly stand to gain from betraying you,' he said.”

Something nudges you gently, as if trying to roll you over onto your back. “Come on. Wake up, you big, dumb, heavy Mon-keigh...”

Wait.

Isn't that...?

Yes, you're positive- Mon-keigh is what the Eldar call humans.

Whatever it is that happened, you're in the vicinity of Xenos, now.

Your muscles tense up in response to the realization.

What do you even do in this sort of situation?

You take a moment to steel yourself, then push yourself off the ground with your left arm, drawing your pistol with your right in the same motion.

The meeting of the ground and your back makes a surprisingly solid THUMPing sound, one that indicates that the sandy-looking soil isn't as loose and sandy as it appears.

It's also rather jarring, the impact, and it throws off your aim. So, when you pull the trigger, the barking of the round going off is accompanied by the startled yelp of the eldar you nearly shot in the face.

The alien is on its bum, a bit farther away than its voice sounded earlier- which means it probably was so startled that it fell over. It has its dainty little hands clasped over its pointy ears, and its eyes are screwed tightly shut.

It's kinda cute.

Can aliens be cute?

Well, clearly, they can, because this one is.

Is it heresy to think an eldar is cute?

It opens one eye, then the other. It looks up at you and blinks.

You can feel your cheeks warming with embarrassment. “O-of course not. I-it was... a warning shot! Yeah. Yeah! A warning shot!”

The eldar gapes at you.

“You really did, didn't you? You-” she snickers. “You really missed!”

Your cheeks grow even warmer, and you level the pistol at her again. She puts her hands on her cheeks and gasps. “Oh no! Please, O' great Mon-keigh warrior, have mercy! I have sensitive ears!” She falls the rest of the way onto her back and laughs. She laughs so hard that she has to wipe tears from her eyes.

Not only is this alien laughing at you, but she's... pretty. Tall and slender, with pale skin and long, soft-looking dark hair...

You really want to shoot something right now.

Yet... you don't want to shoot /her/.

The Emperor smiles upon you, though, and a cry of “WUT DA ZOG?!” rings out from behind you.

The Eldar stops laughing, even as you turn and see one of the smaller variety of greenskins. You forget what they're called- gretchlings? Gremlins?

Oh, right- Gretchins.

The little bugger is standing atop a small hill, not even fifteen meters away.

Would your average Sister know about the whole "Eldar whose Soulstones are destroyed get their souls nommed by Slaanesh" thing, or would she just know that they're sacred to the Eldar? Because I was just thinking along the lines of forcing someone to commit a religious taboo as a display of ones dominance.
>>37914860
Oh but she WILL love us. Stockholm Syndrome combined with good old fashioned brainwashing is a beautiful thing. We're gonna make us our own personal Eldar Patty Hearst. She runs around in a suit of flak armor (with helmet and face guard on because we don't want our pets best feature to be damaged after all), and when we capture Eldar we have her reveal herself and explain to them in detail the beauty of subjugation under Mankind, and that their present existence is an affront to He on Terra who has granted her this wonderful new life of service, but that they may gain new meaning if they will submit to His will and volunteer to undergo re-education.
>>
>>37914705
Cruelty is unbecoming of a Sister of Battle. for it an action to close to chaos. Hate the enemy of the Emperor, it is his greatest gift to us after all, but do not mistake hate for what it is not. Hate to purge the xeno if purging fire, free it from it's cursed life and ending it's suffering. Hate to set the mutant free from it's corrupted Human so that it may move on never to envy the perfection of the Human form. Hate to give the heretic a final chance at redemption and show it the light of the one true way, that is our Emperor. We gonna hate-love everything to death!

>>37915079

Doubt it, seems like if anyone knew about it then it would be either Inquisitors, Grey Knights or Librarians. Or you know, people high up. We don't need to know, we just need to DO right now.
>>

The bureaucracy of the Imperium is a fucking shit-show but I would think that ensuring your guys know not to do things that helps your ultimate enemy is something desirable.
>>

>>

>I would think that ensuring your guys know not to do things that helps your ultimate enemy is something desirable.
So is "not wasting your troops' lives by using World War I tactics (which were shit tactics even at the time, just a result of people still trying to fight like its the Napoleonic Wars early on bogging everything down) with military hardware that is far more advanced", but the Imperium doesn't bother with that. They desperately need to learn the concept of "Maneuver Warfare".

So is watching too many movies and deciding our combat style should be "Give the girl a gun and she thinks she's a Space Marine. Give her two and she thinks she's a Primarch!"

The poor little greenskin doesn't even have time to say anything further. It was opening its mouth when you leveled your boltpistol and turned its head into a chunky red mist.

You laugh, perhaps a little more than is healthy, as its headless body tumbles down the small slope.

Turning around, you note the surpised look on the eldar's face. “Oh, sorry, did I hurt your delicate little ears?”

She folds her arms across her chest and pouts, her cheeks reddening slightly.

You quirk an eyebrow. “Come on, then, witch. Do you enjoy rolling around in the mud like a beast, or are you just incapable of standing on those dainty little legs?”

She turns a more prominent shade of red as she stands up. “I'm perfectly capable- I'm more surprised that you're able to stand upright with those huge lumps of fat on your chest!”

You give her a Look, and, after several moments, she sighs. “You...” She looks at the gretchin, then at you, then at her feet. “That... really was a warning shot, wasn't it?”

It's an interrogation, not a show of affection. We'll handle her ears cruelly and mock her squeals of pain and pleasure. Belittle her and make her feel worthless, break down that Eldar pride until she knows in her heart that her dying race is inferior to Man, that only through service to Man may she elevate herself, albeit only to a level comparable to that of a dog.

You return your pistol to its rightful place in your holster, then address the alien. “Not really, no.” You smirk. “I just wanted to hear how well you squeal.”

You thought her face was as red as it could get. You were wrong, as her cheeks are now full-on scarlet.

As you look at her face, you get the sense that the Emperor's will is for you to establish your dominance over this eldar witch.

“It's a cute one, your squeal,” you continue, even as you watch her ears joining her cheeks in redness. “In fact, I think I'd like to hear it again...”

She shakes her head. “Don't say such embarrassing things, y-you dumb M-AAH!”

You cut her off mid-sentence, lunging towards her and taking her down to the ground. You position yourself above her, straddling her hips, and, leaning forwards, you begin gently stroking the back of one of her ears with your armor-clad fingertips.

Her eyes widen, and she moans softly.

This... you think you could see this face making this expression every day for the rest of your life.

But! You want answers. You also want to see what she looks like under that armor. You bet she's-

No! You need to know things, first! And that may well be heresy. Maybe. It isn't something you've ever been explicitly told is heretical, but it also isn't something you've been told isn't heretical. Of course, you never really thought about something like this before, so maybe it's just not something anyone thought to make a rule about...?

No, gotta stay on task!

“You like this, don't you?”

She gives a minute nod, not wanting to move too much, lest she inadvertently move her ear away from your hand. (At least, that's what you assume).

You grin and, without warning, stop stroking the smooth skin of the eldar's ear.

“If you want me to continue,” you say, giving her ear another stroke for emphasis, “you'll be a good little alien and answer my questions. Understand?”

“Y-yes,” she stammers, writhing beneath you like someone with something wet and squishy in their underwe- oh. Oh. Oh Emperor, she's-

Well, to be fair, you're also rather...

No! Focus! This is not the time!

“Where are we?”

She shrugs, or at least tries to. “I- I don't know. When I came to, you were unconscious beside me, and it sounded like there was a group of Orks over that way.” She gestures with her eyes in the direction of the gretchin you purged earlier.

“Thank you,” you say, brushing your fingertip briefly across her ear, “do you know why we're here, then?”

She grimaces. “The Farseer cut a deal with your stupid Mon-keigh Inquisition, in order to prevent some stupid prophecy he didn't like the sound of.”

You brush her ear again. “Hmm. He sounds like a heretic.”

“An arrogant, traitorous prick, yes. A heretic... I don't know that the term is applicable, here.”

He doesn't care what you say or think. He left you here to die.
Hence the leaving the xenos with you, and leaving both of you near a bunch of Orks.

Maybe it tickles too much so she can't get out any words.

Hey, can Bella be tan to black in skin tone?
>>
If she likes it when you rub her ears, she'll probably be like putty in your power-armored hands if you /lick/ them, right?

There's no possible flaw in this plan. You grin devilishly at the eldar clinging to you as you lower your head to make the ear-licking possible. “Last chance,” you whisper, “tell me your name and rank.”

“W-wait, w-what are you going to-”

You take that as a refusal, and drag your tongue along her ear, starting from the base and working your way slowly along until you reach the place where it finally tapers to a point, ignoring the throaty moans and gasping and other lewd sounds she produces. “Tell. Me.”

“W-wait! I-if you keep doing that, I'll-!”

This, too, you take as a refusal. You work your way along the top of her ear this time, going from the tip to the base.

“N-no, really, I'll-” You take the tip of her ear into your mouth and nibble on it, occasionally flicking your tongue across the portion that protrudes past your teeth.

As you continue, she gets louder, her breathing gets heavier and more ragged, and she presses herself as close to you as she can, something made rather difficult by both your armor and hers.

“M-my name- m-my n-name is...!”

You reach up to stroke her other ear with your fingers, to reward her for starting to tell you her name. However, when you begin rubbing, she lets out a strange sort of moan-yell, shudders against you, and goes limp.

You blink.

“Oops.”

You suppose you can just ask her later.

You just made an eldar lose consciousness. Via her ears.

Is there a medal or a trophy or something for that?

Sisters of battle are white and pure. Tan... is okay. Black? Really?

Anyways, I think lewding the eldar until she faints is a pretty good place to end today's thread.

Sorry again for the interruption, and thanks for participating!

I'm pretty sure they take any woman who's an orphan who's not a mutant/abhuman. What's wrong with you?
>>
>>37918270
Do we get bonuses for not suffering the xeno to live?
>>
>>37918142
Bella is fair-skinned and white-haired, with an fit-but-still-womanly sort of build.

There are dark-skinned/black people, though. Like the commissar you' may or may not meet at some point. She's a good person.

>>37918305
Yep.
The girl you just lewded into unconsciousness secretly thought it was pretty cool.
Not that she'd tell you.

>fair-skinned and white-haired
Augh, but that just makes her a clone of every sister of battle we'll run into!

>>37918349
Well, time to put one in her for the xeno-slaying perk you just confirmed.
>>
>>37918284
I don't like black skin tone at all. Probably primarily due to hip hop/rap culture. But that's how it is.
>>
>>37918349
You need to stop saying people are good and bad.
>>
>>37918381
>Looking similar makes you a clone
Again, you just lewded the living daylights out of an eldar.
How many other SoBs have done that?

The 'xeno-slaying perk' I confirmed is that she found your prowess cool... so you want to shoot her? That's counterproductive, anon. That, or I'm misinterpreting your words.

>>37918435
Good and bad aren't particularly relevant, given your situation, y'know?
Still, I know what you mean, and I'll work on it.
>>
>>37918537
I was asking if we'll get combat bonuses for not waifuing xenos, daemons, and heretics and shooting them instead.
>>
>>37918537
Earlier you said the Inquisitor was bad OOC when we had room to guess, for those words of his transgressions came from the mouth of a xeno. Let us form our own opinions.

Like you said, right?
>I don't intend to do any PoV switching. 'Cause, unlike in Esper Quest, I feel it's pretty much fine if you've no idea what's going on.
Y'know. 'Cause grimdark.

>>37918537

You'll get better of over time, but it won't be an XP-based system or anything of that nature.
Besides that, you wouldn't even consider considering the possibility of waifuing a daemon or a heretic. They're not just not-human, they're affronts to the Emperor.

As for waifuing xenos... you already have one, y'know?

More than one waifu will ruin your laifu, anon!

>>37918624
Did I say he was bad? I probably meant to say he's a dick.
At least, I hope I did.
