>LAST TIME ON GEASS QUEST: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/37750819/

>Thread times and updates posted here: https://twitter.com/Crosswire

>Quest is usually ran on Saturday starting at 3:30PM

Your name is Shirley Fenette and you’ve been betrayed.

Doctor Pailsen, the man you believed be be a trusted friend of your deceased father and the one who helped you through your mental breakdown following your discovery of what Zero had done to you, has betrayed you and revealed everything you believed was a lie.

He never cared for you and everything he did to help you was to further his own goals as you were just the test subject in some mad experimental involving supposedly immortal cells.

After being attacked in your room you were drugged by Pailsen and brought to a man that the Doctor referred to as ‘Wizard’ but who revealed himself to be “Mr.Stadtfeld”. The masked man proceeded to taunt you before throwing you inside a pod that shut out everything.

You’ve been curled up inside that pod, deprived of all senses for so long that you can’t even begin to imagine how much time has passed. After chewing through your restrains and leaving your teeth sore and bloody, you began to pound and kick at the walls of the pod, but to no avail. It wasn’t so much that you gave up as you literally lost the strength to move.

Your mouth became dry, your stomach became empty, and soon you found yourself calling out into the darkness around you and begging someone to feed you or to give you even so much as a drop of water. Eventually your voice became so hoarse from shouting and yelling that you couldn’t so much as utter a word.

In the darkness you began to see things, outstretched hands, faces, noises, and as your strength withered away and your hunger pains grew, these strange images became harder and harder to deny as being real. You were about to give up, close your eyes, and let yourself die then and there…but that’s when you felt them.

>(⅓)
>>
>>37904799
The vibrations.

They were subtle but with nothing else to distract your senses they might as well have been Earthquake tremors. The vibrations made their way through the metal walls of the pod and you found you could feel them where ever your body was touching the walls of the pod, the straight jacket suit was so tight to your skin that you could even feel the vibrations through your bum and chest.

The vibrations were something physical, a sensation that you knew or at the very least hoped weren’t in your head and you paid attention to them instead of the darkness that imprisoned you. You began to pick up on subtle changes and stops to the vibrations and slowly you came to realize that you were being moved around on some kind of vehicle, probably a car or truck given the bump like shakes that happened at seemingly random intervals.

Before you could consider where you might be headed or why you’d be on a truck if the last thing you remember was being in Hawaii, you feel your weight shifting against your will and you're thrown against the adjacent wall of the pod as it begins to move. The pod begins to roll, faster and faster with you tossed around inside like some kind of hellish tumble dryer.

You barely feel the pain due to your hunger, but the dizziness makes you sick enough that you wish you weren’t conscious. The pod stops it’s roll sudden and there's a rush of air as the pod bursts open, letting in a tidal wave of light and sound.

Immediately you’re blinded by the light as your eyes fail to adjust to the sheer intensity of the daylight after being in the darkness so long. Gunfire and shouts in a language you don’t understand hit your ears and you’re left seeing nothing but whiteness with vague silhouettes of things in front of you.
>(2/3)
>>
>>37904810
Unable to talk and barely possessing the strength to move, you crawl out of the pod and do your best to put as much distance as you can between you and it as possible. Barely able to see you have little idea of where you’re going, but your ears make it clear there’s a battle going on around you, with coilguns, explosions, and the screeching of landspinners grinding in your ears.

As you crawl the gunfire only gets loud and you’re left pondering what to do when two other sounds hit your hears, the sound of rushing water like a stream or river and the sound of an unmoving car engine just a few feet away...

Knowing our luck the car is probably Pailsen or Stadtfeld running away, If it's a foreign language that means it's probably China or somewhere in the EU, I don't believe China were actually at war with Britannia, which means of the fighters there'd only be a 25% chance of any side being Britannian, which is a bit too low for me, so clearly drowning is our only solution, although at least we'd get something to drink.

We could be in Japan? I mean, the Red Barons did slaughter the Elevens, so it's reasonble to assume that they have a base somewhere nearby.
Also, we're hungry, we're thirsty, we lacking sleep, we're insane - it's entirely possible that Shirley's brain just can't process the words.

Gunfire screams around you as you claw your way through the dirt and grass towards the sound of running water. In any other instance you’d be terrified at your blindness and lack of strength on what could only be a battlefield, however nothing but getting something to drink ever even enters your mind as you soldier forward with nothing but silhouettes and sounds to guide you.

As soon as your finger tips touch something cool and wet, you pull yourself forward and stick your face into the water. Nothing matters about the water other than the fact it’s fresh and you suck it up as if it were the tastiest thing you’d ever drank in your entire life. Even as the battle rages around you and the death screams of foreign soldiers ring out, you fill your belly with the nectar of the gods and nearly choke in your eagerness to drink.

After your thirst is quenched the danger around you becomes apparent once more, and with limited sight and no strength to get to your feet, you roll yourself into the cool water and float out into the water on your back. The stream or river begins to pull you forward with it’s current and after a few moments of drifting the sound of battle begins to fade until completely disappearing.

The water feels cool against your skin, with no strange smell of texture to it to suggest it’s anything other than a clean river. After just drifting and soaking yourself clean after god knows how long in that pod, you try to move your weak limbs to paddle your way back to shore or a nearby river bank when you hear something in the distance.

At first it blends in with the sound of moving water around you, but grows louder with every passing second you drift forward. Slowly it becomes apparent to you that the sound your hearing isn’t the river...but a water fall.

It's usually lethal unless you control the fall. We're to weak for that. Even then you can get smashed on rocks, or drown.
>>
>>37905626
Yes. If you fall from a large enough height water might as well be solid.

We don't know what's at the bottom of it... but it's a drop.

At the bottom of said drop there could be rocks or derbies... it could be extremely shallow and we slam into the bottom of the pool instead of losing velocity in the water.
>>
>>37905395
Well yeah, hence the emergency relocation? Kallendad and Pailsen apparently have some serious issues with their planning abilitiy.

Guess it also depends on how heavily language was regulated in Area 11. I mean, honorary Brits might have spoken to each other when they were working in shops in Japanese, but English when dealing with customers.

Shirley knows how to speak and read a little Japanese, but that's only from being exposed to it here and there over the years of living in Area 11. She can't really speak the language, but would recognize it if she heard it so whatever she heard back where the gunfire was wasn't Japanese.

>>37905667
Your limbs feel like rubber and the current pulls on you like the firm hand of an enemy, however your time in the Swimming Team back at Ashford pays itself off as your swimming form gets you over to a nearby river bank in spite of your lack of strength. After crawling as far away from the water as possible, you crawl into a patch of grass and roll onto your back.

The sun feels good against your skin and you take a moment to catch your breath as your heart thunders in your chest, listening to the sounds around you. Nothing jumps out at you, no gunfire or footsteps, just running water and a few birds here and there.

You try to stand up, but your legs just don't have the strength to support you and with your thirst quenched your hunger pains start back up.

"I'd eat anything I could find, but I doubt I'd be able to with my eyes like this..." You grit your teeth and wave your hand in front of your face, seeing a brief silhouette but nothing else. With no idea if your blindness is temporary or permanent, you sit and think on what to do...

>Call out for help and try to attract the attention of anyone nearby, hopefully not the people who detained you earlier.

The idea of crawling off in search of food or calling for help is appealing, but with your sight all but gone you decide it’s best to hide and hope it returns. After crawling around for a bit your face makes contact with a particularly thick bush and after feeling it up to make sure it wasn’t filled with brambles, you crawled inside and curled up to make yourself less visible.

Without eyes you don’t have any way of telling if your hiding spot is good or bad, so you make up for it by trying not to move at all. It’s pretty easy considering how tired you feel, but the pain in your stomach stops you from simply falling asleep or napping.

With your mind wide awake your thoughts begin to wander and to pass the time you begin to think of...

Taking into consideration that, cost and parts, I'd say they're better overall than base Sutherlands at their job. Their job is being massed and taking on enemies at mid to long range, providing flanking and being meatshields.

Sutherlands are build to be independent in action. Melee, sensors, ranged, even capable of taking on other's parts. However this makes them Jacks of All trades in practice (Unless equipped otherwise, since they're CAN be customized).

Your thoughts begin to wander and out of all the things you could think of, your mind turns onto the topic of yourself. The first thing that comes to your mind is how before all this, your parents dying, your memories being tempered with, going off on a quest for revenge and truth, things must have been so simple.

It’s not that you can’t remember your time all the wonderful times you had at Ashford and with your friends, in fact the memories are quite vivid in your mind, but as you lay on the ground, wet, starving, and blind from being locked in a what equated to a sensory deprivation tank, it all seems like some kind of lucid dream now.

Having so much fun, believing and trusting so easily in those around you, harboring nothing more than embarrassment in your heart, and not having to worry about anything more than failing a simple math test...it all seems so impossible now.

Where you are now, you can’t imagine being able to simply step back into that life and be your old self. You can’t trust people like you used too, you can’t bring yourself to drop your guard, and you...you just don’t feel the same anymore.

The things that made you who you were, your parents, your home, Ashford, your friends...they're all gone now. Not all necessarily destroyed, but never the less tainted and changed from what they once were.

Just like you.

Pailsen's talk of immortal cells, your supposed regenerative abilities, and how you were going to 'change' sends a chill through you. Reaching up you paw at your face in search of the gash you'd gotten from rubbing off your mouth restrains in the tank but find nothing but fair skin.

A small part of you is excited, to have some power to use against Zero and make him pay, but you mostly feel anger and hatred at being changed once again. It all started with Zero messing with your mind and now your body's been tampered with by Pailsen. Is there NOTHING about you that hasn't been forcibly changed or altered?

Is there even a fragment of the girl you once were inside of you? It's hard to tell for sure, but with nothing but hatred and revenge on your mind it's hard to think so.

All you have left is your name, the name your parents had given you and the name your friends so wonderfully called you in those peaceful days at Ashford.

Xinlu Kuu was a name you wore to protect your friends from harm, but now that there's no fear of anyone but you suffering...you see no reason to call yourself anything other then Shirley.

Zero may hide behind a mask and wallow in the fact no one can hurt his true self, but you've been hurt and robbed of so much that outside of kill your few remaining friends there is little anyone can do to harm you.

"If the truth hurts..." You mutter to yourself, your voice still horse from yelling in the pod. "Then I'll expose all of Zero's lies and make him suffer ten fold of everything I've been through."

Your thoughts begin drifting to Zero when you hear something moving beside you, slithering...

Anything that fits the "slithering" profile is not something you want to instinctively attack. Snakes can't actually eat us, we're too big for that for as far as I know, and if they're poisonous we really don't want to get risk being bitten because we threatened it.

You freeze up at the sound of slithering and grimace as you feel something brush against the skin of your back through your suit. The wormy slithering thing continues to brush against your body, it’s flesh feels strange and scaly and you come to the not so drastic assumption that it’s some kind of snake.

As hungry as you are the idea of being bit and poisoned stops you from pounding the snake into the dirt and eating it right then and there. So you remain in lying on the ground, unmoving and breathing as quietly and slowly as you can. The noise doesn't go away and you can feel the snake continue to slither against you before eventually making it's way atop you.

"No, no, go away snake." You think to yourself as it slides across your slick suit and makes it's way towards your face. As it slithers down your neck you hear it's body brush the ground and hold your breath, hoping it'll slither past and just leave you alone.

For a brief moment you think the snake is going to do just that until you feel your collar rustle and feel reptilian scales brushing against your skin as the snake slides down your collar and into your suit. You gasp as you feel the snake's head touch the slides of your breasts as it begins to slide down in between them.

Your face goes red and you're ready to yank the snake out of your suit to kill it, risk of poison or not, when you hear footsteps. Once again you freeze and try to remain silence even as the snake continues to move into your suit...

"Master Rai I really don't see why we're still here." A young female voice says in clear Britannian, no hint of an accent in her voice.

"I've always found China rather interesting my dearest Nemo, and I'm eager to see how much it's changed given the state of the rest of the world."

>(1/2)

>>37907725

The voice of the man is young and crisp, speaking in Britannian as if he'd spoken it for his entire life. Suddenly the footsteps stop and there's a brief moment of silence only interrupted by the snake ruffling against the inside of your suit.

"Do you hear something peculiar Nemo?" The male voice asks and a pair of footsteps comes closer...

You stay still and quiet in the hopes your inaction will kill any interest the passersby have with the bushes, but the footsteps don’t cease and you soon hear the sound of parting branches.

“There appears to be a girl in the bushes.” The male voice says, his voice growing somewhat excited.

“Is she still alive Master Rai?” The female voice, ‘Nemo’ replies and you hear rushed footsteps as she comes over.

“I believe so, she’s breathing, no visible injuries, oh and look she has a snake stuffed down her dress.”

“Well if that’s all then-wait what!?” The girl seems as shocked as any sensible human being would be, but ‘Rai’ just chuckles.

“Look and see, you can see it’s tail sticking out of her collar."

"I-I'd rather not..."

"Oh then I'll show it to you then!" Before you can so much as flinch you see a silhouette flash through your barely functioning vision and feel the snake tugged up out from between your beasts without so much as a bite or a hiss.

You hear the female scream and jump back, with the older man/boy laughing. "Oh don't be scared Nemo, I believe this snake is quite blind and it's unlike it's poisonous!"

"T-that's besides the point!" Nemo stammers, the sound of her voice indicating she's obviously not fond of the snake. "You shouldn't go doing things like that, besides that girl might be hurt!"

"Oh right, right. If it really bothers you so much we'll help her. Unless she's some kind of pagan lunatic, I'd rather not deal with anyone like that again."

The man wanders off a few paces and you hear the bush rustle again, feeling the presence of someone beside you.

"Hello? Can you hear me or understand me? I'd like to help you but I need to know what's wrong..."

Geass = bullshit powers
Code = bullshit immortality and giving people geasses in hopes they will get strong enough to take your code back
And by bullshit I mean bullshit like time stop or seeing future
>>
>>37908294
Geass is a primarily mental power. In canon, there are no observed Geass powers able to affect physical reality. They all deal with information. Mind control, or precognition, or altering memories, stuff like that. The exception is when someone upgrades to a "Code", in which case they lose their original Geass, gain immortality and ridiculously powerful regeneration, and can give other people Geass powers by forming contracts with them.
>>
>>37908294
It doesn't. The Geass are all mental afflictions. Lulu manipulates people's thoughts, Charles their Memories, Rolo their perception of time. A shape-shifting Geass wouldn't change your appearance, but change how people recognize your appearance. The only one that doesn't work is the future seeing guy, and he probably can just see how someone will react, rather than actually seeing the future.

The code however grants you immortality, and the ability to give a Geass to someone else.
>>
>>37908344
rollos geass couldnt actually stop time only peoples perseption of time within a limited range
>>
>>37908344
Rolo can't actually stop time, he can just make people think time has stopped by messing with their heads. All that's happening is that they're paralyzed and can't remember what happens while his field is up. And creating the field causes his heart to stop as long as its active, so it's not actually as useful as it sounds. Mostly it's best used for tripping people up in the middle of a fight by stopping them for just a second or two mid-movement.
>>
>>37908344
Well, for all their bullshit, every single Geass had a flaw of some some sort. Like, one time only for Lelouch, stopping heart for Rolo (which is kinda physical thing, now that I think about it), etc.
>>
>>37908397
Actually, it doesn't cause his heart to stop as long as it's active, it just stops for a bit everytime he uses it, though it gets worse and worse if he uses it frequently in a short amount of time.

“I-I can’t see anything…” You mutter and you feel the girl next to you tense up at that before saying “Don’t worry it’s going to he alright, can you stand?”

“N-no I can’t…”

“Alright then, Master Rai! I need your helping moving this girl out of this bush.”

“Fine fine fine…”

You hear the man waltz over and step inside the bush, reaching down with one hand and picking up by the waist with just one hand. In your left ear you hear slithering again and realize that ‘Rai’ is still holding onto the snake that had penetrated your cleavage.

Setting you down, Nemo begins to poke and prod you, asking you about any injuries or pains.

“H-hungry. I haven’t eaten in so long…”

"Master Rai, do you still have it?"

"Oh, don't tell me you want me to give it to this girl." You hear Rai whine, but his playful tone makes it clear he's not serious.

"I'll make someone give you another, this girl needs something in her stomach."

"Alright, then, here you go!"

The sound of peeling tinfoil hits your ears and a familiar smell greets your nostrils. You practically bite the girl's hand as you snap up the candybar with your teeth and consume the thing in just a few bites.

"Be careful you might choke!" The girl warns and you feel her hands on your shoulders.

You slow your chewing a bit, but the candybar is soon gone and while it's wonderful to have something in your stomach, your hunger is nowhere near fulfilled.

"Feeling any better?"

"Just a little..." You reply.

"Good, now can you tell me your name? What happened to you?"

The girl's voice is earnest and there's a strange air of honesty about her, but something about the man nearby...makes you feel strange.

“It’s a long story and this really isn't the place to tell it…” You say, trying your best not to have to answer the girl's question.

“That’s a good point, there are a lot of rebels in this area and they don’t particularly like foreigners from what I’ve seen. Can you answer me this though, how long have you been blind” Nemo asks and you shake your head.

“Not very long, this is quite resent. All I can see is white and silhouettes of things. Maybe I’ll get better but if I don’t…” You frown at the thought of living in a world without sight but the girl pats you on the head.

“We’ll take you to a doctor to get your eyes looked at, won’t we Master Rai?” You can hear Nemo’s body turn in the direction of the boy and catch him sighing.

“We only just left that doctor...but I suppose if we don’t go back I won’t get another one of those delectable treats then. Fine, but you’ll have to drive us there.”

"Hmph, fine then, but you'll have to carry her back to the car." Nemo says in an annoyed tone.

"But you have working arms and you can't use your bum legs as an excuse anymore!"

"Well I'm not strong enough to carry a starving girl, I'll carry your precious snake though."

You hear Rai's grumbling and feel him lift you into his arms with almost no effort at all. It's frightening being off the ground and not being able to see how high you're up or where you're headed, but the girl seems to sense this and stays close to you, occasionally brushing a hand across your face.

“Does she remind you of someone Nemo?” The Rai asks musically. "Or have you taken an interest in her?"

"Don't be ridiculous, I would have remembered if I knew her, but something about her is oddly familiar…”

“I have to agree Nemo, though I believe she’s reminding me of someone completely different..."

After a couple minutes of walking you hear the sound of a car door opening and you're placed down onto a worn fabric seat. Nemo buckles you into your seat and soon the car is moving, with Nemo in the driver's seat and Rai riding shotgun.

"Damn it..." You hear Nemo mutter and feel the car slow down. "There's a checkpoint up ahead..."

"And that's a problem how? Oh, our guest. They'll probably ask uncomfortable questions if they see her with us. Well we can't just turn around now, but I believe you already know a way out of this Nemo." Rai's says the last part like some kind of mocking accusation and you hear Nemo shift in her seat.

"Listen, girl, we'll get you to the doctor but I need you to do something for me."

"Yes?" You ask, your heartbeat beginning to race in fearful apprehension.

"I need you to cover your ears. Plug them up with your fingers so you can't hear anything."

It's hard to hide the look of perplextion on your face, but as you open your mouth to ask why Nemo speak up.

"Please. It sounds weird, but it's important that you do this. It's the only way to make sure you'll get through this safely..."

You feel the car speed up again before coming to a stop again.

Given that Nunally didn't immediately recognize us, we've probably changed quite a bit in terms of physical appearance. Be it starvation-induced, or the cells having side-effects.

Probably a mixture of both. Dehydration kills relatively quickly compared to starvation and we don't know how long we were in that chamber. It could be that the more the cells had to compensate and heal the body's damage, the more we physically change.

Anticipating some kind of weapon or attack, you press your hands against your ears so that you can’t hear anything and bend over to hide your head. You remain like this for a minute or two and then the car begins to move again, but it doesn't feel like you’re rushing down the road or speeding away after doing something terrible, in fact if feels like the speed you were cruising at before.

After being tapped on the shoulder you release your hands from your ears and lean up.

"What happened?" You ask.

"Nothing, they let us through." Nemo replies.

"But, I thought you said-"

"I was wrong, they didn't ask about you." Nemo says abruptly and Rai laughs.

"My my you're still a terrible liar my dear Nemo, if this girl could see your face she'd know you did something naughty."

"I didn't do anything wrong, I just asked that man to let us all through."

Nemo sounds like she's telling the truth and it doesn't seem like they killed anyone but you begin to feel uncomfortable.

"So...who's this doctor you're taking me too?" You ask, praying silently to yourself that 'Pailsen' isn't the response.

"He's known as Hua Tuo, at least that's what he likes to be called anyway. He's a surgeon who helped fix me up and he should be able to fix you too."

"I don't have any money..."

"Don't worry, he'll help you if I ask him too." Nemo says and you smile.

"Thank you..."

"It's no problem, I'd feel awful if I just left you alone out there in the woods. Especially with the rebels going to war with the Chinese government. Things have just gotten worse and worse, I wouldn't be here if Master Rai didn't insist to see things." You can practically hear Nemo's clear at Rai who just yawns.

"Oh don't be like that Nemo, I won't let a little thing like civil war stop me from seeing the beauty of this oriental land. Besides you showed interest in wanting to see the sites yourself..."

Nemo just sighs in defeat and the car falls silent.

“You mentioned something about rebels and China. My memory is a little fuzzy, could you tell me where I am and what’s going on? Just so I know I’m not an amnesiac or have a head injury along with being blind?” You ask, your gut doing a back flip at the thought of being so far away from Britannian territory.

“Sure. At the moment you're currently Guizhou of the Chinese Federation and right now there’s a civil war going on. I don’t know all the details, but apparently information was leaked to the public that implicated the High Eunuchs of intentionally abusing their power. There’s been riots all over the Federation and a rebel army has formed to overthrow the current government. The rebels haven’t made any large moves yet, but they're surprisingly well equipped and have been launching small attacks against important locations for the last week or so now..." Nemo says, her tone low and sad at the news.

“It’s all rather pathetic really." Rai states. "Another case of incompetent rulers pissing the commoners off and driving everyone to have them crucified. The least they could have done was been entertaining about it..."

"Master Rai! Please don't say things like that, people are dying!" Nemo snaps, more uncomfortable then angry.

"And who's fault is that? Just who do you think instigated all this?"

"..." Nemo doesn't say a word, but the first name that comes to mind is obvious.

Zero.

"Anyway, things aren't too bad here in Guizhou, but I don't think they'll remain that way for long. So we'll get you to the doctor and have you fixed up so you can get back to your family!"

"Yeah, back to my family..."

After a few more minutes of awkward silence the car comes to a stop and Nemo has Rai unbuckle you and carry you out. You're taken inside a building and hear a grouchy voice call out.

"Go the hell away! I'm not seeing any patients at the moment!"

"It's me Mr. Tuo, Nemo! There's someone with me that I want you to treat."

Could be something entirely new, could lead into us being a physical clone of CC but still having our own mindset, could lead to looking mostly like Shirley but acting more like CC, we don't know. Lets just enjoy the mystery box that is Code shenanigans as it comes.

"Oh, then bring her right in and I'll look her over!" The man's tone changes completely, like a switch was flipped in his brain all of a sudden.

You're carried into a room and set down on a padded table of sorts. The doctor checks your head for any injuries, shines a light in your eyes, asks you a couple dozen questions.

"Well from what I can tell her eyes were exposed to light after being in the dark for an extended period of time. The sudden change damaged her eyes, however the fact she can see silhouettes and register changes in light seem to indicate the damage isn't too severe. The blindness is probably only temporary and she'll regain her sight completely in about two days or so."

"So there's no need for surgery or anything?" Nemo asks.

"No, unless you'd like me to do surgery on her..."

"No, no! That's quite alright. We'll come back if there's anything else wrong with her..."

You're lead back out of the doctor's office feeling confused.

"What was that all about?" You ask.

"Uh, he's a little eccentric from what I've seen." Nemo responds. "But let's not talk about that, you're probably still starving and I think I can get us some free food. What do you want to eat?"

Your hunger comes to the forefront of your mind and the first thing you think to say is:

“Anything, as long as there’s a lot of it. Though if there’s a place that serves Pizza around here I wouldn't mind having some…” Your rub your stomach and wince at the painful emptiness you feel in your gut.

“Pizza? Hmmmm, I don’t know if I can find that around here, but for you I’ll try my very best! Besides I think Master Rai would probably like to try some pizza!"

“Sure, sure, but I’d rather have some more of that chocolate…”

Placed back into the car and buckled up, you're driven around for a good half an hour with Nemo leaving the car and coming back with things for you to eat. Bread, fruit, some weird kind of beef, and eventually she comes back with what could only be PIZZA. Unlike the bread and fruit, you have trouble eating the pizza and make a bit of a mess of yourself.

"Here let me help you." Nemo climbs into the back seat, cleans you up with a napkin, and helps you eat your food.

"I'm sorry..." You say, feeling embarrassment at not being able to eat properly.

"It's alright, you're still getting used to not being able to see. I'm just glad it's not permanent or else I might be tempted to stay with you."

"It sounds like you've had experience with this, did you used to be blind?" You ask, though Nemo''s brief silence makes you worry you overstepped your bounds.

"Yes I was, I've only had my sight back for a couple weeks now and I'm still getting used to things." Nemo says, her somberness hidden by her forcefully cheerful tone.

"It must be wonderful, being able to see everything again."

"It is. Even with all the terrible stuff happening, there's so many wonderful things I want to see and do. However there's a lot I need to do before I can enjoy myself, there's a lot of people I need to help. You've made that clear to me." Nemo giggles and you continue to eat your pizza...

"So why exactly are you and your 'master'..." You say the master somewhat awkwardly, having no idea what that term necessarily implies given how Nemo is obviously under the legal age for...

You shake your head. "You honestly don't seem like the type of people to be in the middle of a country about to be swallowed up by war. What are you two doing here?"

"Well I'm here because I want to see how all of this plays out." Rai states simply, making you scowl as you hear him nibbling in an unsatisfied manner on his Pizza.

"And I'm here too...well I'm just here to help people. If something isn't done a lot of people are going to die and I just can't stand around doing nothing."

"Just what do you expect to do?" You don't mean to be so blunt about it, after all you went into the military completely clueless on how to fight, but Nemo doesn't seem like a soldier.

"It might not seem like it but I can incredibly persuasive." Nemo says. "That might sound foolish, but if I hadn't talked to that doctor in there before hand he wouldn't have so much as considered looking at you much less for free."

You're not sure what to say, but Nemo doesn't seem like she has a way with people. Getting past the check point, getting that doctor to look at you, getting all this food so quickly in the middle of a civil war...

"So what exactly is the relationship between you and your...master..."

"Oh don't worry it's nothing naughty." Nemo says "Master Rai gave me quite a lot and in return I help him with whatever he asks. I serve him, but I'm not his slave for anything. I guess you could say I have a contract with him or something like that."

"A contract?"

"Purely verbal I assure you." Rai explains. "I hate paper, besides it rots away anyway."

"So what exactly did your master give you that was so important that you'd give up everything to follow him around?" You ask.

>>
>>37912950
"Well he actually ended up giving me more then just one thing but...I'd rather keep that private. There are somethings you really shouldn't tell strangers, even ones as nice as you."

You shrug your shoulders and nod. That's a fair answer.

"Can you at least tell me what you want to do? After you help people here, what are you going to do after that?"

"Oh I'm going to keep helping people. I'm going to continue helping people even if they insist they don't need help and I'm not going to stop until the world is a kinder and gentler place."

“That’s a pretty admirable goal Nemo but…” You bite your limp, wishing you were as optimistic as the girl in front of you was, the girl you used to be was, but you can’t help but recognize just how hard if not impossible such a simple but monumental goal like that is.

“You don’t think it’s possible, do you?” Nemo asks.

“I want to believe it’s possible, but something like that isn’t going to be as easy as convincing a handful of people to get along.”

“I know that, I’m not so idealistic to believe everyone is going to get alone with each other, but people can change with a little help from others. I don’t care how long it takes, I’ll help everyone on this planet realize they need to make the world a kinder and gentler place. Because in the end that’s what everyone really wants, whether they know it or not.”

Suddenly you feel Nemo’s arms around your waist and find yourself in a hug, for a brief moment you’re confused on what to do. It’s been so long since you’ve been embraced so openly by a stranger that you have to force yourself to reach up and hug back. Part of you wants to push the girl away and tell her never to touch you again, to empty all your fear and hatred and accuse the girl of plotting something but...you don’t.

You want to believe that this girl has only good intentions and isn’t just using you like seemingly everyone else has.

Smiling, you hug Nemo and just sit there with her in silence.

Then a phone rings.

“Oh, I’m sorry!” Nemo says and pulls away with an embarrassed cry. “I need to take this, it’s something important.”

You hear the car door open and Nemo steps outside before shutting it. Sleepiness hits you and hits you hard, but for the first time in ages you find yourself unafraid of falling asleep near a stranger. Lying down across the back seats you close your eyes and drift off to sleep...

>(Meanwhile outside the car...)

>>
>>37914094

Nemo flipped open her phone and put it to her ear, knowing just who it was.

"Orpheus you're calling later then you said you would."

"I ran into a couple 'issues' getting a hold of the girl, apparently the Black Knights were forcing her to try and build them a reactor."

"They don't know about her other research, do they?" Nemo's eyes widen and she grimaced in fear at the idea. If anyone knew her plans would be ruined and things would only get worse...

"No, they just saw the potential for a new energy if unstable energy source it seems unlike they would recognize the potential for this research to be weaponized. Besides all the research went up in flames with the facility and they'll think the girl perished because of an accident, they have no way of continuing the research."

"Excellent, is she safe? You didn't hurt her did you? You're always so rough..."

"I knocked her out using drugs. Ze's been keeping her knocked out until we can get back to base. I doubt she's going to be cooperative with us..."

"Don't worry about that." Nemo said with a grin. "She'll come around once I have a chat with her..."

"How is your end of the plan coming along? Even with the bomb maker we'll still need a sure fire delivery system and a means to produce a lot of them, we don't have the materials or facilities necessary for that."

"I'm going to fix that problem very soon. By tomorrow afternoon this civil war will be over without another ounce of blood spilled and once the new leaders are under the power of my Geass, we'll be able to push forward with our plan."

"There's still the production and design process to worry about. How do you know we'll be ready in time?" Orpheus asked, not so much impatient as he was concerned.

Once we’re done the idea of simply starting a war will make people tremble in fear." Nemo said, her grip on her phone tightening to the point of nearly cracking the plastic.

"If that is what you believe. For a kind and gentler world..." Nemo could practically hear Orpheus bowing his head to her and nodded.

"Get Nina ready for my arrival, I shouldn't be too long."

You cannot escape the C.C.

Also when do we kill them all..
>>
>>37914517
I'm waiting for her to pull something near Shirley and voice her concerns away and Shirley just Punches after hearing her use Geass.

>>37914531
Shirley. And soon at this rate.
>>
>>37914456
God. Fucking. Damn. It.
SHIRLEY IS TIRED OF THESE MOTHERFUCKING SCHEMES BEHIND HER MOTHERFUCKING BACK. SHE GONNA CHOKE A MOTHERFUCKER NEXT TIME.
>>
>>37914456

Fucking little girl Treize, I swear to God.
>>

Things are only to get crazier from here. I'm practicing a bit of drawing and anatomy study, so I might be able to eventually draw some stuff for this Quest. No guarantees though, I don't want to disappoint you guys with shit art.

See you next week!
>>
>>37914605
Treize was up front with that kind of shit
>>
>>37914616
Thanks for running. How high is our resistance to Geass?
>>
>>37914385
Assuming it is Nunnally. It's highly non-canon, but in the Nightmare of Nunnally manga she develops an alternate personality after coming into contact with a cell culture from CC. Said personality's name? Nemo. And if people are experimenting with implanting immortal cells...well, this might not be Nunnally in the pilot seat, so to speak.
>>
>>37914634
About 10%, you can still be affected by them and they'll stick with you, but your mind can't be completely dominated by a Geass.
>>
So I just finished Renya manga
I have no idea what it was about
Also is collapsing collective subconsciousness or something a good idea?

You know what? At this point I want to say "fuck you" to every single one of these lying fucks and help the Empra trigger the Ragnarok. After all, there will be no lies after that, and Shirley will be able to see her parents again.
>>
>>37914730
He will just lie to us also!
>>
>>37914682
So once we hit 100% will the geass on us break? Will there be any other effects?

>>37914730
Provided the Emperor and his projects ever come near happening with all the other players on the filed mucking things up.
>>
>>37914769
So once we hit 100% will the geass on us break? Will there be any other effects?

Maybe, maybe not. We'll see how things go.
>>
>>37914840
Have we take any physical changes besides our regen or will that be a secret?

What would have happened if we have gone towards gunfire instead of river?

No, we'll say fuck you to Charlie-boy as well.

Alright, but only if we get a bigass deathlaser equipped notmetalgear kung-fu enabled giga fortress with energy wings over the entire frame, developed by Nina, Lloyd and Cecille of course.

So How long will it take for Nunally/Nemo to do something to set Shirley off?
>>
>>37915340
found a better one

>>
>>37915377
that is going to be her VERY soon at this point
>>
>>37915370
I'm guessing we'll part ways sooner, but if not, then the moment Shirley realizes that Nina was mindfucked.
>>
>>37915340
if we can get a mech half as sexy as the providence going the rau route would be worth it
>>
>>37915428
Shirley didn't hear that though. I'm betting seeing her eye geass up when she voices someone will be what triggers Shirley kill syndrome.

>>
>>37915249
Hmm... Maybe C.C. with her snow metaphor or Nemo?

Although I was thinking of Shirley re-enacting a very white ending from SMT4.
>>
>>37915370
As soon as she explicitly uses Geass on somebody.
>>
>>37915476
That is beautiful. Just beautiful.
>>
>>37915532
Yeah, We'd have to see her eyes though. Her voice is the cause after all and I doubt we can feel one being used.

And I just had a scary thought. Shirley wasn't made a code by traditional means right? She never has a working Geass. Would it be possible for her to get one and have her codedom simultaneously?
>>
>>37915584
We would become a true Code Geass
>>37915476
I like these wings
>>
>>37915491
>>
>>37915628
That would be fucking broken if the drawback wasn't a one off like Lulu's. After all Rolo's drawback would mean jack shit to us then.
>>
I think we already have some kind of power affecting geassed people.
Becuase remember Ashford. In the show, Suzaku was OP due to his Geass, but holy shit, not covered in blood, crushed skulls etc level of OP. The same thing is true for Akito, apparently, since he managed to fight off our beyblade.

So geass overdrive, maybe?
>>
>>37915997
we were able to forget pain during our battle at Ashford
>>
>>37916036
That was due to sheer rage honed to a razor point and focused entirely on Zero..
>>
>>37916093
Hm, so it's also possible that we've just projected our rage on Suzaku and Akito. Newtypes in Code Geass?
>>
>>37916135
Suzaku might have been experimented on and Akito Got lucky, after all everyone has a limit on how much they can do.
>>
>>37916183
It's possible, though I really doubt that's the case. Well, we'll see eventually.
>>
>>37916230
Remember Suzaku also got past Nunnally's name erasal Something Even Lulu couldn't do. Only people besides him who know have are CC and Shirely both of whom have a code's geass resistance.
>>
>>37916282
We could also have been out of range
>>
>>37916282
i think only shirley and suzaku where unafected because thay where not at the school when nunally/nemo went do her own crazy thing and geassed everyone who knew her identity at ashford
>>
>>37916333
>>37916353
Considering we still packed all her stuff and Lulu had left a week before then, I doubt if there was a range we were out of it.
>>
>>37916382
we have no idea exatly when she left, might have been before lulu left, when you think about it, forgeting nunnaly is probably the reason he choose to leave and go zero full time
>>
>>37916462
The room hadn't been touched and looked like it had been used recently, but I guess maybe. Given Suzaku's rather brutal upgrade and the fact we had Dr. McEvil working there for a while, I still thing he gave him something. We'll see I guess.
>>
Would geass that requires you to eat human flesh in order to gain knowledge fit in canon?
>>
>>37916562
Not really, Geass does not require that sort of stuff. However a pain share or insanity exposure would be pretty canonical.
>>
>>37916587
>Shirley the Harbinger of Insanity
Heh
>>
>>37916631
Well give her a gaze based Geass that lets people go through what she went through. Expose them to her mind. That'd fuck anyone not made of steel up in a few seconds.
>>
>>37916656
I like this
>>
>>37916690
If we get Geass I hope we get something like it or a pain mirror.
