“Water Pulse! Once more!” you call out to Frogadier. He quickly, complies, building up a ring and smashing into Sylveon once again. The small feline seems to be on its last legs, though it does manage to fire off another stream of stars that crash into Frogadier, knocking him out.

“Hah!” Jenna calls out, “We’ve got this now!”

You grit your teeth. This cat was starting to get on your nerves, but it was almost down. One solid hit was all you needed.

"Pidgeotto," you say, extending your arm and letting the bird take flight once again, starting its circle around the small arena. Once it builds up speed, it moves into a dive towards the cat.

However, it seems as though your opponent was ready, and a flurry of stars buffet Pidgeotto as it closes in, causing it to careen into the ground. The creature puts on a smug display with its ribbons, but you could tell it was still hurting.

"So much for your lead," Jenna smiles, "Sylveon is way better than your monsters."

Well, it was one on one now. Sentret tugs at your leg, it seems it thinks it can do this.

"Go for it Sentret," you say to the small creature, "Lisa's counting on you!"

Sentret nods, scurrying around your legs towards Sylveon.

"Not giving up? Sylveon is way stronger than that thing."

Sylveon lazily fires off a few stars at the small creature, though Sentret nimbly weaves through the roots and branches nearby, causing all of them to shatter harmlessly against the wood. Once it finds an opening, it rushes at Sylveon from behind, leaping up and scratching at it with its claws.

Sylveon cries out in pain, using its ribbons to sling Sentret away, but the small rodent is ready, landing on its tail and springing right back, flying through the air towards the feline. You almost swear you see its fur shimmer as it brings its tail around once again, slamming directly into Sylveon, causing it to fly back into a nearby tree.

You wait for a few more tense moments, but it doesn't get back up. Sentret props itself up on its tail waving its paws in celebration.

"Sylveon!" Jenna cries as she dashes over, slumping to the ground near its fallen body. She starts trying to shake the monster awake, calling its name. A few of the pink birds around start flying over to her as well.

You decide to speak with Jenna, but first you use a bit of your healing ability on Frogadier and Pidgeotto, just to get them back up on their feet.

You also stop by and give Sentret a pat on the head, congratulating it on its moves.

With that done, you head over to Jenna, although as you approach, you notice that she seems to be crying.

"So, are you going to hold up our deal?"

"Y-yeah, fine," she replies, stiffling her sobs, "Go ahead and take them away, that's what you wanted right?"

"Well, they're still in some sort of daze," you reply, glancing back at them, "Can you fix that?"

She nods, placing her hand to her lips and making a sharp whistle, which causes the remaining pink birds to all flock towards her, including those near Lisa, the two other girls, and your monsters.

"Huh, where am I? How did I get here?" Lisa mumbles, glancing in your direction, before realizing that she doesn't have any clothes, fumbling to cover herself, "Ceil!? What's going on!?"

The two other girls are in a similar state of confusion, and Riolu and Shelgon slowly wake from their slumber.

"There," Jenna says, pulling Sylveon close to her, "Now they can leave me all alone again."

"Why are you kidnapping people in the first place?" you ask, "Making them think that they're fairies."

"I was lonely," she mumbles, "After my dad went away, I didn't have anyone in the village anymore, except Rose and Lily--Emily. So I decided to go look for my dad in the woods, and I found this place. Sylveon let me stay here, but it was kind of lonely without my friends, but after I went to bed last night Sylveon brought them here. At first we were having a lot of fun pretending to be fairies, but then they said they wanted to go home. I really wanted them to stay, but then the Spritzee sat on them and they didn't want to leave anymore."

"So that's why you thought they were going to leave you?" you ask, "Why not just go back to town with them?"

"My mom went away when I was real little," she continues, "My dad was sad a lot of the time, and everyone said that was why. He didn't have a lot of friends to spend time with. I was worried that if I stayed there I'd get sad too, an then nobody would want to spend time with me."

"And what about Lisa?" you ask, unsure of why she'd try and kidnap someone she never knew.

"Last night, I was telling Sylveon about how I missed my mom and dad," she explains, "Then today, he was gone all morning, but showed back up with her. I thought she must have been a real fairy, since she was so pretty and she came out of nowhere, but I guess she was really your friend, huh?"

You think you're starting to get the full picture here. The men in the village must not have directly told her that her dad was dead, so she went into the woods to find him. Then, that cat helped her for whatever reason and set up this whole charade.

"I'm sorry," she says, "I guess I was causing problems for everyone anyway. Now nobody is going to want to be my friend anymore..."

"I would," you reply.

"Yyou would?" she blinks, turning to face you while wiping tears from her eyes, "But I took your friend from you, why?"

"Because I want to," you smile, reaching out your hand to pull her up, "You don't need to kidnap people to make friends. You just need to talk to people, and be yourself. You seem like a nice girl so why go back to town and try again? Spritzee and Sylveon can come with you, and we can see if anyone else wants to be your friend, okay?"

"Okay," she smiles, eyes still red from bawling.

"F-For what it's worth," you hear a voice squeak behind you, "I'll still be your friend!"

You turn to see Emily and Rose, with somewhat teary eyes themselves, "Yeah, me too!" the girl you think is Rose said.

Jenna moves over and pulls the other two girls into a hug, and you move off to give them some space.

You pull out a blanket from your pack and hand it to her before continuing.

"You missed Sentret and Pidgeotto in action by the way," you say, "I had a battle with them against Jenna and they were really on top of things."

"That's good to hear," she smiles, pulling the blanket around her "I overheard some of what you and her were talking about earlier. It's really sad. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole fake mom thing though."

"Yeah, I just hope something like this never happens again," you say, pulling Lisa into a tight hug, "I was really worried you know?"

"Umm...y-yeah," Lisa stammers back, squirming a bit under your grip. You realize that she doesn't really have any clothes under that blanket, and decide to back off.

"Sorry about that."

"N-no, it's fine. It just surprised me is all."

You wait for Lisa to secure the blanket more tightly before rounding up the three girls and your monsters, heading through the forest back to town.

Once you arrive back there, you find some of the men in town, and get the two other girls back to their families. There's plenty of tears as the girls reunite with their families, with Jenna also apologizing profusely. The parents are a bit confused why she's apologizing, but you help explain the situation in more detail. Pierce even offers to set you up with more supplies for your travels, free of charge.

You find yourself speaking with William in Sander's bar, where most of those involved have gathered to celebrate.

"Must say, you did a fine job," William says to you, taking a swig from his glass, "Wasn't expecting Jenna to be so torn up about it all."

"I'm just glad I could help," you reply, "What's going to happen to her now?"

"Not sure," he shrugs, "Anyone in town would be more than happy to take 'er in, but I'm not sure how we'd decide on who. Heck, I don't even know if that'd be for the best. She seems to have taken a real shine to you though."

"Well, she does seem to like you a lot," he chuckles, "If she wants to go with you, I don't think it would be right to stop her."

"Yeah," you say, "There is something else though. You should probably tell her the truth about what happened to her parents. I don't think it quite sunk in for her."

"Guess we made a mistake trying to shelter her from that," he sighs, "She's a smart girl, we should've given her more credit. I'll make sure to tell her later tonight. If you guys are still spending the night, you can ask her about taggin' along in the morning."

"Sounds good to me," you reply.

The party tapers off as the evening drags on, the families taking their daughters home. Pierce puts you and Lisa up for the night, while Jenna sleeps at William's.

"So Lisa," you begin, once the two of you get your bed situation sorted out, "I wanted to talk to you about something."

"What is it Ceil?"

"I was thinking about asking Jenna if she wanted to come with us," you continue, "She doesn't have much keeping her here, and it's not far from here to our hometown."

"Really Ceil?" Lisa asks, "That's kind of sudden. I mean, I know she likes us, but I don't know how I'd feel about this..."

Waking up in the morning, you and Lisa have a quick breakfast before heading over to William's, wanting to check in on Jenna. William leads you into the kitchen, where she's sitting finishing her breakfast. Her face brightens as she sees you, hopping down from her seat and dashing over.

"Hey Jenna," you say, tussling her hair, "How's it feel to be sleeping in a bed again miss Fairy Princess?"

"Much comfier," she smiles, "Spritzee are soft, but they don't make good beds."

As though hearing your conversation, the two Spritzee drift out from the cabinets and perch on the two of you. You spot Sylveon out of the corner of your eye rubbing against Lisa's leg.

"Would you like to come outside and meet my partners?" you ask, "They couldn't have been much fun to play with half asleep."

"Well, the blue one did look pretty fluffy," she says, leading you towards the door, The big one didn't look very nice though..."

"That's okay," you say, waving Riolu over once you get outside, "Shelgon can be a bit grumpy sometimes."

Riolu dashes over to the two of you, and Jenna kneels down to get to his height. He closes his eyes and starts sniffing at her, and finding nothing amiss, nuzzles into her. Jenna starts petting him on the head, laughing at how affectionate the small monster is.

You let her continue playing with Riolu for a while, just happily enjoying the scene. After a minute or so, Jenna eventually stands and heads over to Lisa.

"I wanna apologize again for earlier," Jenna says, hanging her head, "I never really knew my mom, so being able to have one, and a really pretty one, was just...can you forgive me?"

"Pretty?" Lisa blinks in surprise before replying, "I mean, yes. I can forgive you. I can only imagine what that must have been like. This time though, let's start as friends."

"Yay!" Jenna replies, hugging Lisa's waist. Lisa smiles and gently pats the young girl on the head. After a moment, she breaks off again and walks over to you.

"So what will you do now?" you ask "I'm sure you can make all kinds of friends now that you're out of the woods."

"I dunno," Jenna mumbles, "I mean, I'm glad nobody in town hates me, but it all feels really different now that my dad is...y'know. And you two aren't from here, which means you'll be leaving."

"Well, actually," you start, "I wanted to ask you about that. You see, my parents live in a big city not too far from here. If you wanted, you could come along with Lisa and I for the rest of our trip, and then stay there once we head home."

"You mean, I could stay with you two?" Jenna ponders, tilting her head.

"Yeah," you nod, "And it's pretty close to this village too, so it wouldn't be a big problem to come back here and visit either."

"That'd be the best!" the small girl shouts as she leaps into the air, "I'm gonna go say goodbye to everyone. You'd better not leave without me!"

"Wouldn't dream of it," you reply as the girl runs off.

"I'm starting to feel better about this," Lisa says, "She seems really sweet."

The two of you start packing up your things, waving at Jenna whenever you see her dashing across town to say farewell to another family. By the time you have everything done, Jenna has worked her way back to you, followed by a sizable group of people bidding her farewell.

You leave soon after, towards the southeast, waving back at the crowd. Jenna calls back her farewells until the village is out of sight, and the three of you continue along the meager trail winding its way through the woods.

"I'm going on an adventure!" Jenna calls out as she skips merrily. You had to curb her enthusiasm a bit to make sure she didn't run off a few times, but she seemed to be enjoying herself quite a bit.

"Right, I almost forgot," she says, stopping suddenly, before running over and leaping up to hug you, "Thanks for bringing me along Ceil!"

"Jenna, go wait by Lisa," you say sternly. She offers a nod in return, moving over behind Lisa's legs.

You set your pack down and open it up, looking for the cause of the light. You find it rather quickly, the sizable stone that you found in the mountain. The meteorite that Thomas Shabboneau said contained a legendary monster.

The glow only increases in intensity once free of your pack, and the rock begins floating in midair, almost blinding you with its brilliance. With a final flash of light, the glow suddenly stops, and you look up to see a small yellow monster floating in its place.

I don't even care about wishes or whatever, I just want Jirachi to be a permanent member of the team Ciel

I'll go ahead and say that I don't plan on having the 7 day limit like the movie had, mainly because you did promise to go show Jirachi to Thomas if you could, but I didn't want you to be on a strict time-frame.

I didn't even remember we promised that to be honest, but if Ciel was going to get any Legendary then at least it was the cutest one

Fuck yeah, Jirachi! I'm glad it wasn't a surprise Deoxys, but this might be worse.
We should probably find a way to keep Jirachi on the down low incase someone knows what it is. We're also going to need to show it to Thomas. Honestly, I just don't want anyone to abuse it for it's wishes.

This bares the question: Is it -Our- Jirachi, or is it -Jenna's- Jirachi because she woke it?

I'd say its Ciel's. He found it and while it may have been Jenna's wish it was Ciel that made it come true. Or it could've been his wish for Jenna to be happy that did it. Also Jirachi is like a foot tall, so it should be easy to hide him in our cloak or in our bag like Froakie used to.

So did you plan for Jirachi to wake up here, or was it spur of the moment? Also, did we get that Journal?
