You are Shee Hyul, rebel leader, psychic and Reunited. Your world is ruled by inhuman creatures and this has gone on far too long, it’s time to fight back.

“Stay here” you tell Rainya and Kaelyn “Kaelyn heal her if you can, and both of you look after each other.”

“Good luck” says Kaelyn, as she tends to Rainya.

“Shee no!” yells Rainya as you head off into the darkness alone,

Inside your head she keeps pleading to let her come with you –Rainya please!- you finally snap at her –Not now, we can argue later just, please be with me this one time ok?-

-Ok...- comes the response as you head towards the group of minds you are tracking –I just, I just want you to come back to me Shee.-

-I will- you promise –I will-

Finally you can sense the group up ahead, in a larger cavern. You advance cautiously, your hammer and fists at the ready, prepared to react to any attack. As you emerge into the cavern you can see a raised plinth with one Jane Vindel atop it. And another dozen of her in front of it. There’s chaos magic here, so much its hard to tell what spells there are, the air is thick with it. There’s no physical traps or barrier that you can see, but there’s probably lots of magical ones.

“You have been frustratingly difficult to kill” comments the Jane atop the plinth.

“Why did you have to kill Ash” you rumble out in your deep voice “he did nothing to you.”
>>
Old thread >>38461935

Jane shrugs “A useful pawn, nothing more” she says “chosen only because you cared for him, that’s what all of those who favour the Ichor do to their loved ones of course, make them targets.”

“Whereas you” you say, pointing your hammer at her “are the only target here, so are you going to die fighting, or just die?”

Jane laughs “you stupid, ignorant child” she says “you lost the moment you came in here, you’re outnumbered, and facing a vastly smarter foe, you don’t have a chance.”

“Really?” you say “because so far I’ve beaten everything you’ve thrown at me, now I’m going to make sure you never hurt my family again.”

“Your threats are tiresome” says Jane “are you finished posturing?”

You address Jane’s doubles “You don't have to die for her, she can't win against me on her own. Maybe you can kill me, but how many of you are willing to die in the process, stand aside, and you could be free. I want nothing from you, except her one head. I can remake things, I can remake you, if you want.”

The Jane’s standing before you pause for a moment before the one above them says “what are you waiting for, get her!”

They are shocked out of their contemplation and attack. Although your words seem to have touched them to some extent, they don’t seem willing to disobey their maker.

As the one atop the plinth waits and watches, the other twelve launch brilliant bolts of energy at you. Some of these simply fail as they approach you, but seven manage to hit you.

Using your power to resist harm, most of the attacks that hit you simply dissipate against your hide.

[PE 34/57, Lirael Vitae 20/160, Psiwell 1/90]

Two however you simply endure as best you can as they char your flesh, filling the air with the smell of burning meat. It hurts a great deal, but its not the worst pain you’ve had to put up with today.

[HP 103/181]

You’re a 12ft-tall 4-armed muscled giantess, wielding a hammer in one hand...that’s as big as you are.

Seeing you still standing, the Jane on the plinth yells “Well? Kill her!”

It does still matter, because some of us might want to do something with the well, like expanding it, or the forest, without having to wait for a dozen threads.

>Stop being retarded just because you forgot about something.
I didn't forget anything other than the Gestalt ability access.

>And the well shutting down only means we don't get the +3 bonus and the daily 90, we cans till draw from the pool of 900.
We don't know this, and it doesn't really make sense to assume we can still draw from a well that's shut down in such a high risk situation. It's also possible that Randolph wouldn't be able to maintain the mental link without his heart, meaning we'd lose access to the well once we overdraw the first time, even if total shut down wouldn't prevent that.

You charge forwards, the spider-legged sorceresses in your way have the choice of getting out of the way, or being trampled, they wisely choose the former. In a single bound you are atop the plinth and assault Jane Vindel with fists and hammer.

She manages to survive your first punch, but with the second she falls back limply and your final punch and hammer blow reduces her to paste.

You are victorious!

Or are you...?

As before a dozen energy blasts come your way, again some simply fail, but several strike you. Once again you use your powers to shrug most of them off.

[PE 20/57, Lirael Vitae 17/160, Psiwell -14/90]

But one you simply survive.

[HP 75/183]

Around Lirael you feel the Psiwell shut down and Randolph plaintively wail –Mother why? My Heart is gone!-

-It’ll come back- Lirael reassures him –Don’t worry Randolph-

-But, it’s gone!- complains Randolph in your head.

“Jane Vindel is dead!” you bellow at the doubles “You are free, why do you still fight?”

None of them show any sign of backing down, a final compulsion or spell perhaps? Or did you truly kill the real Jane Vindel?

With the real Jane Vindel hiding in amidst the doubles you think its best to identify her before you slaughter the rest of them. If for no other reason that even in your titan form you are beginning to tire.

You reach out with your psychic abilities and hammer into the mind of the closest one, trying to discover which one of these doubles is the real thing.

[PE 4/57]

Although the one you have chosen isn’t the real one, you now know which one it is, acting just like any of the others in the real ranks.

Before they can unleash any other magics you blast the Janes with your own psychic power, draining their life force to restore your power, and your health. You make sure to catch the real Jane Vindel in the area.

As you do so she laughs maniacally “Finally!” she says “you use a power *I* can control!” You feel your grip on your psychic power slipping as she attempts to take control and turn it back upon you. Around both of you the air twists as reality itself starts to change.

Aspect: Magic

For a few brief seconds the two of you struggle, to see who will live...and who won’t. Finally your own impossible nature proves stronger and the life forces of the Janes flow into you.

[HP/PE full]

And not just those within the area you affected, but all of them, as the real Jane draws upon them in a desperate effort to keep herself alive, finally she falls.

The blades of force swirling around you disappear, huh, you had forgotten they where there, since they were doing nothing to you.
>>
All around are the dead Jane Vindels, except, one still stirs weakly, the real one. You stomp over and look down at her. This is the woman who killed Ashley, who would have killed other members of your family simply to distract or weaken you, and yet, lying on the floor she seems so helpless, so lost. You raise your hammer, for what she has done, there can be only one response. And yet you don’t feel hatred, or anger, only...satisfaction.

“How?” she asks “I had power over magic itself, I had the favour of the Infinite Mirror, how did you beat me?”

Mirror would do some rules lawyering bullshit to get away with taking back most of her gifts, that one in particular, if we corrupted her, and any other option is fallible and can only result in horrible betrayal. Honestly, Pally letting us get our hands on that ability was never an option.

With your hammer raised high above your head, you look down at the prone woman, small, weak. Is this what you were afraid of?

You think about saying something about the power of friendship, the value of allies, of knowing that people who trust you are there to help you, about how leadership is better than tyranny.

You doubt she would even understand what you were saying.

With a single smooth motion you bring your hammer down, pulping her body and driving your hammer into the stone underneath her.

“That’s one down Ash” you say quietly “There will another one soon.”

You hear Rainya and Kaelyn enter the hall behind you, Rainya looks healed “Shee!” she yells, running up to you, you bend down and sweep her up in your muscular arms as she hugs you tearfully “You’re ok” she says “You’re ok...”

“Of course I am” you say “I said I would be” Rainya just cries, held in your arms like a child, hugging you.

Kaelyn looks down at the mess that was Jane “doesn’t seem so impressive does she” she says critically.

In the depths of your mind you hear the Ichor offer her congratulations “you have done well child, by the terms of the contest, the Infinite Mirror is required to give you a Gift, but he may offer a weak one, or one too potent for you. As per our agreement, you may select the Gift of another.”

You feel the power of the Infinite Mirror grudgingly seep into you. You can shape this power into 1 of 3 Gifts

Clouded Reflection
None of your Gifts with obvious physical effects show on your form unless you are using them or wish them to show. This Gift does not have higher ranks, sufficiently powerful magic can pierce this disguise.

Stoke the Inner Flame
You recover psychic energy points faster than normal.
At Stoke the Flame 1 you recover 1 point of psychic energy per 30 minutes, instead of 1/hour.

Smooth Away the Cracks
By touching someone you may remove negative magical effects, by taking on the burden yourself. For the purpose of this ability ‘negative’ magical effects include any magical effect that causes lasting penalties or ongoing damage or any other effect the QM declares is negative. This is a normal action and you must succeed on a Willpower check with a DC of 11+ the willpower modifier of the one who created it. Success means the effect no longer affects the target, but affects you instead.

10 minutes to discuss, then a vote.

At Stoke the Flame 2 you recover 1 point of psychic energy per 20 minutes.

At Stoke the Flame 6 you recover 1 point of psychic energy per minute.
At Stoke the Flame 7 you recover 2 points of psychic energy per minute.
At Stoke the Flame 8 you recover 3 points of psychic energy per minute.
At Stoke the Flame 9 you recover 4 points of psychic energy per minute.

Shadows of the Depths *does* hide the visual effects of your sunlight adaptation.

“Lets go back” you say to Kaelyn and Rainya, teleporting back to the camp in Randolphs territory.

Once you arrive, Dev hurries over “Is it over?” he asks “is that crazy bitch finally dead?”

Rainya roll her eyes at you side “I’ve been telling him” she says “but he won’t believe me.”

“It is” you tell Dev “she’s gone.”

Dev seems to slump in relief “Oh wow, oh finally, thank you Shee, thank you.”

It’s late afternoon and you all busy yourself preparing the evening meal.

Once you’ve sat down, Kaelyn says to you quite casually “You know, if you’re not going to have Randolph take over the whole area, I’d like to find the chaoswell, maybe the old forest and I can come to some sort of agreement.”

“What about the beastmen tribes?” asks Rainya.

Kaelyn shrugs “They will fall in line or I’ll chase them off.”

Rainyas and Devs expressions tell you just how much they *don’t* like that idea.

“But Randolph needs to grow” says Lirael, interrupting “Don’t you Randolph?”

-I’m not talking!- says Randolph –Mother stopped my Heart!-

Lirael rolls her eyes “He’s such a baby” she says.

You’ll have to talk to Randolph at some point, but right now, you just want to sleep and sleep and sleep.

You realise that you said that last part out loud when the Rainya sat on your right says “I certainly hope not!” And she leads you to the only private room in the whole camp, the underground bedroom you woke up in, to the suggestive winks and laughter of your allies.

-What’s mother and Rainya doing?- Asks Randolph

“I’ll tell you when you’re older” you hear Lirael say

-But I want to know now!- whines Randolph.

If there’s a further exchange you miss it, as the Rainyas take up all of your attention...

Will we have time to psychic infection anyone and spend xp, or will we want to rp things?

I think the ones we want to do it with is dev, rainya and maybe lirael. Probably to go and give the mind protection to all and some others to dev.

Rping giving someone psychic powers sounds more fun than just spending the XP

I would prefer to get Mystic Siphon actually, the last fight showed how easily we run out of PE currently, so that would help us out a lot.

>>
>>38471413
Possibly
>>
>>38471359

Yeah, with enough power who knows.

We turn the shadow skin so that light regens pe and laser fire just disperses off of us.

Shadow absorbs the light and control over plants life and corrupting the stuff means we convert the energy. We upgrade shiny to turnnon and off and get heavy laser dr.

Baal would like get a good laugh if we turned it to an advantage.
>>
>>38471429

>>
>>38470986
Permanent mutation in this case is 5 XP for a gift from our choice of the Four and a stopgap measure for Shadowskin, so I'd consider it worth it. If permanent mutations weren't toggleable, then we'd have a problem in the long run, but they are.

Feast of Life is...alright. The bonus XP is good, Vitae pool increases are also fairly useful, bite damage and abilities are largely irrelevant.

The major advantage to getting Shadows over other vampire powers would be circumventing the normal restriction to leveling Void somewhat (I think?) by having it immediately become L12 Void after a thing happens.
>>
>>38471578
Oh right. Void has that level restriction thing.

How does that work again?
>>
Rainya 6/20
>Two-Weapon Fighting (-4XP)
So she finally can make two energy weapons
>Flight 2 (-10XP)
Flight opens up a completly new strategic dimension for Rainya, and will be useful once we can use Plurality in combat. Until then the +2Defense are not bad either.

>>38471578
>the normal restriction to leveling Void
Which would be?

>>38471628
Well fuck. If that's how it works, I'm down for it.
>>
>>38471622
>Lirael has like 84 xp. Combat skills?
Lirael is on ice until we have Primacy of Blood, so we can dump her XP into the bloodline powers.

Wouldn't know much else to dump her XP into anyway, sure there are 'some' things, but nothing really valuable.
>>
>>38471608

2 more levela of plurality maybe?

Let her hold a conversation somewhat with 5x normal rainyas? (-10)
>>
>>38471685
It's pointless if people don't let Shee raise her own vampire powers because Lirael can't raise her bloodline above Shee's.
>>
>>38471697
I find Plurality isn't worth it at all until Rank 4.
She needs the TWF for full use of her Energy Weapon and Limbs Unrivaled, Flight is useful, but we might as well only get one Rank, it doesn't make a big difference on this level.
>>
>>38471651
>Pally, could you give us clarification on that?

Shadow has the standard restrictions on max level like any other vampire power (as under Feast of Life)

Should it be converted to void it would retain its level and can be used normally, it just can't *raise* its level further until the max rank cap catches up.
>>
>>38471685

Well when the thing, whatever it is happens, we might have a decent mix of meta xp given too.

So spening 10 or 20-30 for some combat skills would not be bad, she still has like 50ish.
>>
>>38471738
Why is Void even like that? We can't raise FoL above 12 yet void has 20 levels.

I don't think we're gonna do that. After a final chat with the old forest, we're gonna pack and go home.

I hope we can find a way to open a portal between our Realm and Randolphs forest, so he can interact with us in our Realm and we don't have to jump all the way over to the Astrobleme to interact with him.

We won't, we just cover ourselves in clothes until we get home.

Stop this sort of faggotry. The earlier we come back to our realm, the earlier we can find a way to open a portal to his forest and actually make him a involved character instead of wasting a thread faffing about in a forest forn no reason.
>>
>>38473120
It really isn't, you are clingier than Randolph is anon, its absurd. He is way slower than we are, he will barely notice. And by necessity we will be away from him for some time once we return to the Hive.

We need to leave a Rainya behind. And hope Randolph doesn't attempt to copy what we did.
>>
If Randolph (God I hate that name) is our son, then technically he is our bloodline and thus eligible reunited material?
>>
>>38473279

Well, from some hints, it was planned from the start. I wonder if we can get him to our realm somehow.

Father thinks slow cause it was ser up that he would talk to people outside the forest.

Likely in the fight, if Shee got damaged she would have bleed then be kidnapped in response.
>>
>>38473296
>draining my heart hurt a bit
It didn't.

>Thanks for helping keeping my friends alive for a month, protecting me and killing my enemy
He did that because we literally made it his nature by warping his mind into it, he was MADE from our desire to protect them. He didn't actually have a choice.

>Oh, I am going home now, 5000km away
So you want us to never go home ever again? We start "Forest babysitting Quest" now?

>What about my heart?
He knows it regenerates on its own

>What about dad?
Not a issue anymore, he can easily handle him on his own and had already deciuded how to do so.

> How do I handle all these new things?
There are no new things.
>>
>>38473403
>I wonder if we can get him to our realm somehow.
I would strongly hope so, because its going to be absurdly annoying to keep in contact with him otherwise so Pally could have his funny genius loci child joke.
As I said, I really hope he thought this through further than this.
Because Pally has the tendency to have ideas he thinks are really great and then never go anywhere because he hasn't really thought it through.
>>
>>38473507
I'm thinking Between Kae and Shee they could make a gate to Shee's realm.
>>
>>38473507
>Because Pally has the tendency to have ideas he thinks are really great and then never go anywhere because he hasn't really thought it through.

Paet if that could also be /tg/ being ADD when playing a ques
>>
>>38473559
Then there is still the problem of Randolph being basically just there to be there.
We already have a child character, and Randolph can't even come with us anywhere.

He quite literally just ties us down, and I don't see what he adds to the story to make that worth it.

Now I hope Pally has plans to develop Randolph as character to make him worth it, I fear he doesn't.

At the very least we need to arrange for ebing able to contact him from our Realm, possibly allowing him to grow into it. But thats really just a temporary measure to take care of a problem, where I'm not sure why the problem was necessary at all.
>>
>>38472643
Her death is part of the reunited war. No reprisals from that
>>
>>38473651
Well we miffed the roll that got him a body to let him lug around his heart. I imagine have a time dilation forest with a built in security field and variable training grounds would be good for getting new recruits in Shee's cell up to par.
>>
>>38473393
>If Randolph (God I hate that name) is our son, then technically he is our bloodline and thus eligible reunited material?
He isn't 'actually' our son, anon. He isn't really a biological being. He is our 'son' in the sense that he was made by us warping the old forest.
>>
>>38473767
That doesn't really require Randolph as character, the place is neat, but it never needed to be intelligent.
Or a fully formed intelligence, if he would have grown more and more sentient over time while we nurtured the Psiwell, that would have been far better too.
>>
>>38473839
I imagine he get more power he'll make a body eventually. Baleful Teleport into him anyone? Plus we can start fixing up the planet with his help.
>>
>>38473873
Yeah sure, maybe at some point he can walk around. It would be pretty silly and stupid, considering what he is, but its still better than him staying a location.

But the question remains, what for?
Why does he exist? The place would serve the same function without a fully formed intelligence in it.
And I'm not sure to what purpose he got introduced into the story except to be another target for our enemies to attack our Family Aspect.
>>
>>38473651
Kae can check up on Randolph when she plays with her new chaos well. Even better she can skip feeding here.
Not that we won't be coming back as we need to make Chaos berries to sell.
>>
>>38473969
I fail to see what that has to do with anything.
>>
>>38473949
He exists because that's how the setting works and how our aspects interacted in that instance. It's not there to be perfectly convenient for you at all times.
>>
>>38474063
No, thats bullshit. Not every chaoswell has a animating intelligence.

In fact, the forest was so special because it was a huge chaoswell and thats why he had one.
Randolph exists because Pally wanted him to. There was nothing in the setting making it necessary for him to exist.
>>
>>38473949
Character are not always going to be convenient. The kid is a genius Loci who is likely going to be linked to our realm. 3 levels and he's already deadly imagine at 10 levels what he could do? It all ahs to do with interaction.

>>38474100
He exists because we corrupted the forest and accidentally made a new one. Stop being butthurt over having another character to interact with.
>>
>>38474136
>Stop being butthurt over having another character to interact with.
Stop being a hostile faggot, alright? Can you do that?

I'm expressing my concern over how this character will be handled, considering that he isn't connected to anything we do and has zero relevance to the rest of the plot, and his extremly far away from our normal location.

You know another character who these things applied to, and even less strongly than with Randolph? Do you want that shit again? I don't.
>>
>>38474184
Randy is a fair bit tougher than Ash, Also he's a powerful psi as a 1 month old. If we can link him to our realm we're in very good shape. Additionally when he makes himself a body he will be dangerous.
>>
>>38474136
>3 levels and he's already deadly
No, he isn't. At all. He is a source of PE right now.

And I also really hope Pally knows what he is doing here, because there is a very real risk Randolph will never become more than that.
>>
>>38474239
>Mental control over a war follower
>Not deadly.
All he ahs to do is apport someone right under the thing to kill them, which would easy for him.
>>
>>38474224
>Additionally when he makes himself a body he will be dangerous.
However long that takes, and if it ever happens.
The old forest doesn't have a movable body either, I'm not sure what makes you so convinced Randolph will.
Especially since Randolph is explicitly very very slow. Not as much as the old forest, but definitly slow.
I don't think he ever will have a body with which to come to missions and the like.
>>
>>38474272
Yeah thats really cool when we fight people in the forest.
But we are normally located hundrets of kilometres away from the forest where Randolph can't do shit.
>>
>>38474224
>Randy is a fair bit tougher than Ash
Toughness doesn't have much to do with it.

Ash was significantly tougher than Rainya or Dev too.

The issue is how likely are we going to have reason and opportunity to involve this character into what we do.

He is a fucking forest.
I really hope we can actually fully transplant him into our Realm ASAP.
>>
>>38474100
>Not every chaoswell has a animating intelligence.
Entirely possible every Psiwell does, or maybe one of our aspects (i.e. the reasons he exists in the first place) did something, or it could have to do with him being an offshoot of the old forest.

>>38474312
And?

>>38474432
Or just let him grow into the realm, no need for a full transplant. The canyon has useful properties anyway.
>>
>>38474030
Some Anons seem worried Randolph will be neglected.
>>
>>38474507
Yes, but my worry is definitly not calmed by saying "some other NPC will interact with him", thats not really the point.

>>38474489
>And?
What? You claimed he was really cool and useful, and I pointed out he really isn't because he can't do anything in the place where we are 99% of the time.

Also
>Maybe maybe maybe
Do you realise how silly you sound? Its pretty obvious Randolph exists because Pally wanted him to, not because any setting element made it necessary.
>>
>>38474571
>You claimed he was really cool and useful
No, different anon, I just didn't get your point with that post, and evidently, you didn't have one.

>Do you realise how silly you sound?
Says the person panicking because a character might not be involved in every single thing we do for the rest of the quest.

>Its pretty obvious Randolph exists because Pally wanted him to, not because any setting element made it necessary.
Yeah, there's no conceivable way a goddess of Impossibility, Corruption and Family's aspects could create an offshoot of a genius loci that used her as fuel for a time.
>>
>>38474719
>Yeah, there's no conceivable way a goddess of Impossibility, Corruption and Family's aspects could create an offshoot of a genius loci that used her as fuel for a time.
At n point did I say its implausible or inconsistent with the setting. The point was you claimed the setting made it NECESSARY for him to exist, and thats simply wrong. So the question remains, what for?

>>38474719
>and evidently, you didn't have one
Except for the one that I made. Are you retarded or something Or is it just too much past your bedtime?
>>
Maybe Randolph will have a big plant dragon body. That'd be cool.
>>
>>38474792
>So the question remains, what for?
Because it happened live has loose ends anon. So do quests.
>>
>>38474719
>Says the person panicking
I don't see anyone panicking. Considering prior experience with Pallys quest, fearing a character with poor set-up will be neglected by the narrative and the players because Pally doesn't do anything with them is a very reasonable concern.
Since it has happened quite often.

Maybe you haven't read PoJ and aren't as familiar with the problem with Pally, but you have to understand, some people here are.
And we do see what Pally does in this quest under the light of what he did there.
>>
>>38474851
You just completly left the realm of reason didn't you?

>Anything can be done in a quest without any reason, because why not?

Besides this attiude being rather stupid, it also completly fails to adress the actual concern.
In fact it is exactly the concern of there not being any thought behind this character and it just being narrative baggage.
>>
>>38474792
>The point was you claimed the setting made it NECESSARY for him to exist, and thats simply wrong.
It kinda does. Our aspects are part of us, we were used as fuel, our aspects would interact with the being using us as fuel, the result was a corrupted offshoot formed around an impossible well of power tied to our natural psionics which wanted to protect those close to us innately.

That's how our aspects work. This is a major part of Corruption in particular, with it's passive warping schtick.

>Except for the one that I made
Your point is that he might not be able to go on missions with us. At no point was this the point the anon you replied to was making. His point was only about Randolph being able to defend himself, as he was calling him deadly in response to the stated possibility of him only existing as a weakness.

>>38474874
It just seems like he's being ridiculous and a needlessly hostile ass over the possibility of getting a character that isn't vital from a purely pragmatic standpoint.
>>
>>38475017
>that isn't vital from a purely pragmatic standpoint
No, a character that isn't relevant from a narrative point either.
>>
>>38475085
>No, a character that isn't relevant from a narrative point either.
Of course he's relevant, he's our son. Aside from that, he's a sapient psiwell that's going to be living (at least in part) in our realm and primarily resides in a time-warped canyon full of magical power, where Kae is probably going to be spending a lot of her time.
>>
>>38475017
>It kinda does. Our aspects are part of us, we were used as fuel, our aspects would interact with the being using us as fuel, the result was a corrupted offshoot formed around an impossible well of power tied to our natural psionics which wanted to protect those close to us innately.
Absolutely no one would have questioned it if Randolph wouldn't have existed.
Our Aspects weren't even actively used against the Old Forest, we just bled into it and made a bunch of new plants.
There was no need for a new intelligence to come to be, let alone a fully formed one, let alone one that isn't actually like Shee at all and therefore kinda renders the argument of being a result of her Corruption rather void.
>>
>>38474803
That'd be cool.
>>
>>38475131
>Of course he's relevant, he's our son.
He didn't really need to be our son, except to create a easy emotional leverage on the player to give a shit.

And just saying "he's our son" doesn't make him relevant or interesting. Its a label, not his role in the narrative, especially since he isn't 'actually' Shees son.

Someone mentioned this before, and I'm inclined to agree, it would have been significantly better if Randolph would have grown into intelligence while Shee cared for the forest and the Psiwell.
>>
>>38475222
>it would have been significantly better if Randolph
It would have been significantly better if his name weren't "Randolph".

Because really.
