You are Siegfried Schmidt, a former guard from the city of Morsland. Due to various circumstances, you have become the temporary wielder of Galadriel, a holy sword which houses a powerful (and kind of rude) angel. Now you have come to the White Watchtower, a fortress close to the border between the Forsaken Lands and the kingdom of Iseria, to train with the crusaders so that you can protect yourself from the demons that might come after you now that the sword is in your possession.

Last time, you finished your first magic lessons with Daniel, got to know more about Galadriel (and nearly rolled a SAN check), went drinking with your new collection of friends, and started planning with Joan on how to get Erika and Justine to stop fighting. And so begins Day 2 at the Watchtower.

New to HSQ? Read the old threads to get caught up:

Before we proceed, I need to call a vote. Would you guys like to go through the second day of training normally, or would you like to time skip through the first week, and decide on what you want to do in that time?

Around your third day at the watchtower, Joan and you decided it was finally time to spring your little trap and get Erika and Justine together so they could talk things out. That night, after all your training sessions were done, you and Joan met in the library to go over the plan one more time.

"So to make sure I've got this right." You say. "You'll lead Justine to the empty room, and I'll bring Erika a little later. Once they're inside, we lock the door, and tell them what's really going on. Then, we just get the two to talk it out until they finally come to an agreement, and then we unlock the door and let them out again. Sound about right?"

Joan scribbles something down on the sheet of paper in front of her, then hands it to you. [Sounds about right. You know it might take a while for them to actually try and talk things out though, right? What do we do if they start fighting?]

>"We break them up and keep going. There's two of us, we should be able to pull them off of each other."
>"Let them go at it. Might be a good idea to let them get it out of their system."
>"Maybe we should call in someone to help us keep them under control. Maybe we could get (specify) to help."

You shrug. "We break them up and keep going. There's two of us, we should be able to pull them off of each other."

[Guess that's as good a plan as any. Ready to go?]

You nod. "About as ready as I can be. Let's go."

------
You and Erika walk up to the 7th floor, where the empty room you and Joan prepared ahead of time waits. Erika, completely unaware of what you're real intentions are, follows along beside you.

"You actually talked Gunther into making another keg? I thought he said the last batch was all he was giving you for a while."

You shrug. "He still wants me to teach you how to drink like a normal person, remember? It wasn't that hard getting him to make one more keg."

Erika shrugs. "Works for me, I could use a pick me up after training today."

You lead her to the room where Joan and Justine should be waiting, and open the door for her. She steps inside and you follow, locking the door behind you and putting the key in your pocket.

"So where's the keg, I don't see i-" Erika cuts herself off when she notices present company. Justine and Joan sit in the back, passing a sheet of paper to each other until they notice the two of you come in. Joan gives you a mischievous thumbs up, which you return.

"Siegfried." Erika says, clearly unhappy. "Why is she here?"

>"Oh she's just here to drink with us. Gunther should be here with the new keg soon." Lie

"Just take a seat, bear with us for a sec."

Erika looks like she wants to just walk out right now, but eventually she sighs and takes a seat. She takes a seat next to Joan, who is now stuck between Erika and Justine. The two feuding ladies turn their heads away from each other, looking very unhappy to be here. Looks like you and Joan have your work cut out for you.

"Alright, now that you both are here, let's just cut to the chase." You tell them, standing in front of them. "You guys have been fighting for years now from what I've heard, and Joan and I are both getting tired of it. So you guys had a rough sparring match before, so what? Is it really worth holding a grudge this long over?"

"She started it." Justine says calmly, pointing sideways to Erika.

"The hell I did." Erika says defensively. "You're the one who was getting all snooty."

"I was only giving you advice. It's not my fault you can't take criticism."

"People don't start giving people criticism with 'you're and idiot.'."

"Even if it's true?"

Well, this certainly isn't a very good start.

>Say nothing, let them get it all out.
>"Maybe you were a little harsh when you gave her criticism Justine. I'm sure you meant well, but maybe be a little less frank next time?"
>"She was just trying to give you advice Erika, there's no need to get mad over it."

"You guys are both being stupid. It was a sparring match, and you guys both got a little out of hand, but holding a grudge over it this long is ridiculous."

Erika and Justine sit there and say nothing, looking somewhat irritated. You suppose that's to be expected, but you keep going, determined to drive your point home.

"Justine, maybe you were a little harsh when you gave her criticism Justine. I'm sure you meant well, but maybe be a little less frank next time?"

Erika smiles smugly, while Justine rolls her eyes in frustration.

"Imagine if after we had our first spar if I had said 'you're an idiot that underestimated me and got sloppy when you were mad'. Would have pissed you off right?"

Justine says nothing. It looks like she's at least considering what you said though, so that's good.

"I'm glad someone gets it." Erika says, still smiling smugly. "Yeah, I made some dumb mistakes back then, but you didn't have to be a bitc-"

"And Erika, even though her advice was barbed she still mean well and was trying to help you get better." You continue. "Surely you can see past the insults."

Now it's Justine's turn to smile smugly. Erika frowns and starts to say something back, but you don't give her the chance.

"You guys both came off as jerks, so you both have valid reasons to be mad at each other. But consider this: if she had said he lines differently, without the insults, didn't she make some good points?"
>>
>>38593987
Erika starts to say something, but she stops herself and calms down. You take that as her answer.

Everyone is silent for a while, until Justine finally speaks up. "Alright, you have a point. Maybe I did come off as kind of rude."

Erika nods. "And I guess I might have overreacted a bit, sort of."

You breath a sigh of relief. Good, they're listening to reason. Damn, that was easier than you thought it would b-

"But even so, she's still a hot-headed fool and I can't stand her." Justine continues.

"The feeling is mutual, you frigid bitch." Erika responds.

Joan looks at you and sighs soundlessly. You pinch the bridge between your eyes in frustration. Seems like they've gotten over the sparring match at least, but they obviously still don't like each other.

>"Can you at least try and get along though, for the rest of us?"
>"Whatever, think what you want of each other, just don't get into any more fights, please?"

You groan, running your hand through your hair in frustration. "Oh for Aureus sake, what is it going to take to make you two get along already? Joan, can you say something to these two? Maybe they'll listen to you instead."

Joan thinks for a moment, then just shrugs. She writes something down and passes the sheet of paper to you for you to read aloud.

[You sound like you're on to something. Maybe they should think of a way they can settle this themselves?]

You read the note aloud to them. "So, what's it going to take for you two to get along?" You ask them.

They both think for a moment. Finally, Erika comes up with an idea.

"How about a rematch?" she says. "Loser admits they're in the wrong and then we just get over it?"

Justine considers it for a moment, then nods. "I think I could accept that."

Joan looks at you and raises an eyebrow. She then scribbles something down on a note and passes it to you. [What do you think?]

"Sounds like a poor idea. Let's do it."

"Alright." Erika says, standing up and cracking her knuckles. "Let's head down to the training yard then. Hope you're ready though, I'm a lot better now than I was back then."

Justine stands as well. "Then I hope you're better than the time after that as well."

"Well whoever wins, just make sure you both honor the bet and move on after this." You tell them, going to unlock the door and leading the three of them downstairs, to the practice yard.

It's night time now, so the training yard is empty save for the four of you. Joan and you stand to the side, while Justine and Erika head to the weapon racks.

Erika, as expected, grabs a greatsword and takes a stance in the center of the yard. Justine, however, takes a while looking through the weapons rack.

"That's weird, where are all the spears?" she asks, continuing to look. Eventually, however, she finds one. "Oh, here's one. Looks like all the others are gone somewhere, did Leonard take them to be repaired or something?"

You all shrug. "No idea." You say. "If there's still one left though, does it matter?"

"No, I suppose not..." She says, taking the lone spear and taking a stance in front of Erika.

Since no one else is here, and Joan can't talk, you end up becoming the judge for this sparring match. Once both of them are ready, you start the match.

"Ready...Go!"

Immediately the two start going at it. Erika charges towards Justine with her greatsword, and Justine responds with a quick jab. Erika manages to swat it aside however, and takes a heavy swing at Justine. The weapons are dull, but you can still hear the loud CLANG of Erika's greatsword hitting Justine's armor, and Justine is nearly knocked off her feet by the blow. She manages to recover though, staying on her feet.
>>
>>38595646
The two continue to exchange attacks, Justine is now focused on keeping Erika away with quick jabs, forcing Erika to either avoid or block each one. In terms of actual skill, you would say Justine has the advantage, but Erika is no slouch herself, and she makes up for the difference with raw strength. You remember what Daniel said about the two having opposite personalities, it seems the same applies to their fighting styles as well.

For her part, Erika deals with the difference in reach pretty well, but in the end it was impossible for her to avoid getting hit forever. She makes a horizontal swing at Justine, who ducks under just in time and responds with a hard jab to the chest.

...

The scene takes a second to process in your head. Justine makes a hard jab after avoiding Erika's swing. The training spear, rather than dinking off of Erika's plate mail like it should have, pierces her armor and goes through her chest. Even from here, you can see the blood. Everything goes silent, and the world seems to slow down, as Erika, a look of shock on her face, falls backwards onto the hard ground. The spear goes with her, as Justine releases her grip on the spear, looking almost as shocked as Erika.

Erika falls to the ground with a thud, and suddenly it feels like everything is moving at normal speed again. You and Joan rush out to Erika, crouching down next to her.

"Erika?! Erika?!" You shout frantically. The spear seems to have gone through one of her lungs, she tries to say something but the words are choked back by the blood seeping into her lungs.

Justine is standing petrified in shock, blood still on her hands. Joan tries to say something, but only soft scratchy sounds come out. It looks like you'll have to take charge of the situation.

"Justine, go get help, quick! Joan and I will stay and try to do first aid."

Justine takes a moment to process what you're saying, but she obeys, running back into the fortress.

You received a little bit of first aid training back in basic training at Morsland, but you don't know for sure that you can treat something this serious. You do the best you can though, trying to treat her wounds with Joan's help.

Luckily, Justine comes back quickly with help. You recognize the person with her as the priest who works in the chapel where you meditate with Galadriel. The priest runs over with Justine, and checks Erika's pulse.

"She's still alive." The priest says with concern. "But she needs help now. Someone, help me pull this spear out."
>>
>>38596393
You do so, taking a grip on the spear and pulling out. Erika groans when you do so, but you have to get the spear out of the way for the priest to help her. Once the spear is removed, the priest begins to mutter a long line of incantations. You see a warm golden light form a bubble over the wound, and when the priest finishes her incantation and the light disappears, you see that the skin where she was wounded seems to have knitted itself back together.

The priest wipes the sweat off of her forehead and sighs in relief. "That was close. Had I been a little later, it may have been too late."

"Will she be okay now?" You ask the priest worriedly.

"For the most part, yes. She's not in danger of dying now, at least, but she'll need rest to recover completely."

Everyone looks relieved. "That's good." You say with a sigh of relief. Joan nods in agreement, while Justine continues to stare at Erika. Her normally blank face betrays concern now, and a little bit of shame.

"How did this happen?" The priest asks you seriously.

>"I don't know, but I intend to find out. You guys take her to her room so she can rest, I want to look around and see what I can find."

You furrow your brow. "I don't know, but I intend to find out. You guys take her to her room so she can rest, I want to look around and see what I can find."

The others nod understandingly and take Erika to her room, picking her up with some effort and carrying her back to the fortress, leaving you alone. Your old guard instincts kick in, and you start investigating, trying to piece together what happened and how.

You start with the spear. You pick it up to feel it's weight. It's heavy, just like the other training weapons. You examine every inch of it, trying to discern anything useful from it. It's made of metal, like the other training weapons, but the tip is not dulled like it should have been. You take a closer look at it's edge. It's chipped and the edge looks rough. You think back to your time as your father's apprentice, to sharpening blades. It was easy enough when they were only a little dulled, but sometimes people would bring in blades so dull they couldn't even cut anymore. Those were always harder to sharpen, and it took you and your father a long time to give them a good edge again, because just sharpening it until it could cut again left a rough edge, which would chip and break easily. That means someone tried to sharpen one of the training weapons, which were all completely dulled, and either didn't know what they were doing, or did it in a hurry. You would guess both.
>>
>>38597212
You set the spear down and think. Now you know this wasn't an accident, someone sharpened the spear on purpose. You remember Justine said the other training spears were gone, so that means whoever did this got rid of the other spears, specifically so this one would be used. Why would they do that? You think of a reason why almost immediately: because Justine always uses a spear. Leonard has been making you and Justine practice with each other every morning for combat training. Because it's in the morning, Justine would be the first to use the spear.

With all this in mind, you think you have an idea why someone did this. Maybe you're just being paranoid, but it seems to you that the spear was meant for you. But because Erika and Justine decided to spar all of a sudden, she ended up getting hit by it instead.

With that in mind, you stand back up and think of your next course of action. The spear is probably the only clue you're going to find here, so you'll probably have to go somewhere else if you want to investigate further. You might try talking to Leonard, see if he knows what happened to the other spears. Otherwise, you could try looking around the castle grounds for clues. Whoever did this had to have done it recently, or the spear would have ended up in the late afternoon training course's hands, so the culprit might still be close by. Then again, you could always do all this later and go check on Erika now.

You decide you should do your investigating now, while the trail is still hot. You can talk to Leonard and check with the servants later, but you don't know if the culprit will try to cover his tracks, so you decide to look for evidence now and check with Leonard later.

You do a quick sweep of the training field and the hallway leading to the armory. Nothing catches your eye, and the armor door is locked. However, the door leading to the castle grounds is ajar, so you step outside and investigate.

It's very dark out now, making it hard to see. You do a quick sweep around the area though, hoping you'll get lucky and find something useful.

Almost half an hour passes and you're ready to head back when luck finally smiles on you. A fair distance away from the castle, something shimmering in the moonlight catches your eye. When you investigate, you see that it's the metal tip of a spear, tucked away in the foliage. Not only is there one, but there are at least 20, all dull and tucked away. Whoever did it must have been in a hurry, because they didn't do a good job of hiding them. They're far enough out that you doubt anyone would have found them unless they were looking for them though.

With that figured out, you make a note of where they are so you can come back to them later, and get ready to head back to the Watchtower.

As you are about to turn back and head back to the Watchtower, you hear something snap behind you. Turning around just in time, you see some sort of twisted creature, roughly as tall as your waist, jumping at you with it's maw open. You manage to dodge out of the way in time, thanks in part to your enchanted clothes, and draw your weapon. You have no idea what this thing is, but it's clearly aggressive, so you prepare to defend yourself.

Your assailant, after missing you, turns back to you and hisses at you, baring it's large fangs and glaring at you angrily.

You begin muttering the incantation Daniel taught you for casting Flash, as the thing attacking you leaps at you once again. The spell goes off before he get there, creating a sudden blinding flash of light, making it cover it's eyes and let out an inhuman sound in protest. You move to the side, and it misses you again, stumbling to get back to it's feet.

There, now it's blinded, and the flash was bright enough that someone at the Watchtower should have noticed.

After seeing your friend nearly get killed today, you are not in the mood to deal with this shithead, whatever it is, so you come in for a hard swing while it's blinded.

You bring Galadriel down hard, slicing it deep across it's torso from it's right shoulder to it's left hip. Not only is it a very deep wound, but when you slice it, it's skin begins to sear, and it lets out a horrible screech of pain. Wait, is this this thing a demon?

Your question is answered by the fact it's still standing. Any normal thing that got cut that badly would be dead now, but it's still standing, a horrible scar stretching from it's shoulder to it's hip, burned closed by Galadriel. It hisses at you, eyes burning with hatred, but it looks like it's decided enough is enough. It steps back from you, and suddenly it's shape changes into that of a large dog, and it runs away towards the woods. When it leaves, however, you see that it still has the scar you just gave it across it's chest. You could use that as a clue later, if you need to.

You think quickly and try to shoot the escaping demon with your bow, but it's too far and too fast, and the shot misses. Ah well, you still did a number on it earlier.

"I hope it stings, bastard!" You call after it angrily. Well, now you have an idea of what replaced the spears at least. The fact it could change form makes you worry though. If it could change into a dog, could it be possible for it to change into a human too?

You shake your head. You don't know, but at least now you have a lead. That demon is still out there, but maybe now it'll think twice before messing with you.

You decide to head back and speak with Leonard about the spears. After that, you'll go and visit Erika.

You run into him sooner than expected, as he shows up with about 15 other people, meeting you halfway back to the fortress.

"It's a long story. Come with me, I need to show you something."

He looks confused, but obliges, telling the others who came with him to wait there. You lead him back to the place where the spears were hidden and tell him everything, from Erika being stabbed to the demon attack. He listens to you, his expression growing very serious when you mention the demon, and that you think it might be possible it's hiding amongst your ranks.

"This is a very serious matter if you are correct. Are you absolutely sure what attacked you was a demon?" He asks you.

You nod. "Galadriel burned him when it cut him, so it had to have been."

"I see. Then in that case, I will be sure to inform the Knight-Captain immediately. But you should be careful who you tell all of this to. If there is a demon hiding amongst us, there's no telling who it is."

You nod. "Alright. As for finding out who it is, I had questions for you about that."

You tell him what you discerned from examining the spear, and ask him if he had any idea who took the spears. He scratches his beard and thinks. "Now that you mention it, there was someone who took the spears after the last training session this afternoon. He said the tower blacksmith wanted to take a look at them, make sure they weren't damaged. I was busy at the time so I thought nothing of it, but now that I think of it, I don't think I'd ever seen him before."

"What did he look like?" You ask.

"Hm...he had shaggy black hair, was about your height, and green eyes. Looked like he was maybe 26 or 28 years old. He was wearing breastplate armor as well."

You listen to him, making a mental note of the description, then nod. "Alright. Talk to the Knight-Captain, let him know what happened and see if there's anyone here that matches that description."

"Very well then, I will do just that. But Siegfried, you had best be careful. That demon could be anywhere, you never know where it could strike. Be careful who you trust."
>>
>>38599196
You nod, and then you both go your separate ways. Now that you've finished looking around, you go to check on Erika.

You find her room easily enough. You give the door a knock, and Joan opens the door. When she sees it's you, she lets you inside. Justine is sitting in one of three chairs next the bed where Erika is sleeping, hanging her head with a guilty expression on her face. Joan takes the seat next to her, leaving one other seat empty.

"Where's the priest that healed her?" You ask.

Justine says nothing, so Joan writes something down on a slip of paper and hands it to you. [She left after she made sure Erika was stabilized. Had to get back to her duties in the chapel.]

You take a seat in the empty chair and look at Erika. She's asleep now, with the blanket pulled over her.

"Did you find anything?" Justine finally asks, to which you nod.

"A few things actually, including the culprit."

You explain everything that you found after separating from them. The spear's edge, the hidden training spears, the demon, and even the conversation with Leonard. They listen to you quietly, with worried expressions when you mention the demon.

[Who do you think it could be?] Joan asks in a note.

that is an amazing idea, we get the dwarf to get everyone drunk, then cut them all and see who sizzles

"Assault on a guard, on top of attempted assassination and conspiracy? I say our friend is going to have a nice little cell for the rest of his life."

"If, y'know, he wasn't a demon..."
>>

Er, that was a mistake on my end. Average human in this world lives to about 60, Dwarves live to about 50, and Elves usually live to about 170.

"I don't know, but I will find out. Don't have a name yet, but Leonard mentioned a guy roughly 26 years old with shaggy black hair. I'm also banking on the fact that the scar didn't heal when it changed forms, so that can be something to keep an eye out for as well."

"It's a start then." Justine says, standing up. "It's getting late, and I should head to bed. If you need any help looking for that weaselly demon, let me know."

After Justine leaves the room, Joan passes you a note. [She's taking it hard. She may not have liked Erika, but she's feeling really guilty about what happened.]

You nod. Even if you do hate someone, you can't imagine someone wouldn't be fazed after nearly killing someone by mistake like that.

[In any case, I'm going to have to go to sleep soon to. What about you?]

>"I'm going to stay a little longer I think. After that, maybe I'll do some meditating, see if Galadriel knows anything that could help."
>"I'm going to head to the library soon, see if I can find anything about shapeshifting demons."

And so often the simplest answers to our problems are the best. Instant demon detector.

I wonder if GM could have one of our friends betray us...hm I wonder.

Meditate as well sometime during watch.

Can you grab a book for me about shapeshifting demons while I keep an eye on her?

A likely target to impersonate is the person who was just injured. Easiest to subdue, and with the a bit of leeway for inconsistencies.

Next on priority would be Justine, or just a random stranger.

How about no, the quest wouldn't survive it, like all those others which thought that bastion of retardation was a good idea and found out otherwise.

There's more than enough shit already stacked against us, I doubt Sparks is stupid enough to try that.
>>
>>38599519
What, you've never heard of Occam's Razor?
>>
>>38599462
Don't start the shadowrunning and paranoia shit anon, I like this quest and its only fairly new, it doesn't deserve that crap and you should know better.
>>
>>38599448
"I think I'll stay here and keep watch." You tell her. "Who knows if that demon will come back, and besides, it's what I used to do for a living."

Joan nods, and takes her leave, leaving you and Erika. You sit there, saying nothing but making sure nothing breaks in or tries to impersonate Erika.

An hour passes, then another. After a while, it becomes hard to stay awake. Finally, you pass out, too tired to stay awake any longer.

When you wake up, everything is exactly the same as how it was when you fell asleep. No signs of the door being forced, no signs of a struggle, everything seems at peace. You massage your eyes and yawn, then you notice that Erika is starting to stir.

"Uhh...wh-what...?" She says groggily, trying to sit up. She winces when she does, and lies back down. She finally notices you and turns her head.

"Siegfried? The hell happened, why do I feel like shit?"

You sigh in relief, glad she's alright. "It's a long story. Don't try to sit up, just rest. I'll explain what happened."

Calling it a night here folks, hope you guys had fun. I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed at the lack of panic and Ron Paul images when Erika got stabbed, I sort of expected a bigger reaction for some reason.

Anyways, I'll be around for a while longer to answer questions if you guys have any. Next thread will probably be either Tuesday or Friday, more likely Friday, but keep an eye on the twitter just in case. Thanks for playing.
>>
>>38599698
Thanks for the run boss. See you tomorrow or Friday.
>>
>>38599698
It's not your fault. For me, a bigger twist happened in a different thread, so this is comparatively normal.
>>
>>38599698
thanks for running.
>>
>>38599698
Thanks for the thread Sparks.

I freaked out when I read Erika getting stabbed but I was catching up, I'll also say its extremely unhealthy to go fishing for reactions and drama like that, I've seen many QM's try that and have their quests explode because they were chasing the reactions of their players rather than being QM's helping to tell a story with their players. You don't want to go down that path.
>>
>>38599698
Thanks for running dude. Don't sweat it about the seemingly muted reaction, I think we were all just so damn surprised we didn't think of it. Can't post the doom Paul if we didn't expect shit to happen. This is not by any means a bad thing.

That is not a good thing....

>>38599726
Details?
>>
>>38599698
i was worried but i came in right after we started the investigation so i didn't have a reaction posted, I want erika to be our love interest but obviously i won't try to force it. Anyways good run I look forward to these every week. Question though, will we get a chance to develop a romance at some point? not to distract from the main quest of course but it would be nice.
>>
>>38599698

Thanks for the run bossman!
>>
>>38599698
Your thread keep getting better and better
Thanks for the run Sparks!
>>
>>38599767
Romance is an option, yeah. I don't build characters specifically to be designated waifus, but romance is an option, yes.

>>38599763
>>38599744
Eh, wasn't really fishing for the reaction, I just sort of thought the muted reaction meant I handled it poorly. Seems I was worrying over nothing.

Goddamit why does everyone on this board immediately jump on the first female NPC as 'muh waifu'. If you don't want to distract from the quest don't waifu anyone until we've had time to establish a genuine relationship with them. Or better yet, don't waifu anyone.

Seriously, we've only seen THREE characters without a dick at this point. Why the fuck are talking about forming a relationship that will define the MC for the rest of the damn quest so damn soon.
>>
>>38599859
just sharing my opinion, I didn't say I want to do it right now but later on, and we have been getting to know erika, I don't want it to distract from the quest, I just said it would be nice is all.

I always see anons try to waifu the first female NPC in quests...I don't get that at all, why?
>>
>>38599943
Its a side affect of the first female npc usually being of importance to the MC or the story, and events revolve around them of a sort. There isn't any real conspiracy or plague or problem with it, just a curious happening and certainly nothing to get buttflustered over like >>38599859
>>
>>38599911
Well that's ok then. I personally would prefer to see some more characters and actually get to know them a bit better first, but I can see how Erika would be appealing in that regard. Just don't be in a rush to get on that bandwagon and try to push it too hard, or you'll derail this quest so hard it will fly into a ravine and explode. I haven't seen anything poison perfectly good quests like waifu bullshit. Not even talking about waifu wars. This shit just gets in the way of good roleplaying.
>>
>>38600042
I understand which is only why i've just now brought it up, I'd like to have a side optio to explore some romance while continuing on with the main quest. Right now I'd just prefer Erika, but I'm not opposed to others, regardless I like exploring and getting to know other characters. But I like this quest, and I'm not going to derail it to try and make an npc my waifu.
>>
>>38600085
Thank you for assuaging my fears kind anon, I agree with your opinions entirely on this matter.

wasn't first one the apothecary elf?

At any rate, cheers for the thread OP!

So, anyone we meet can be a demon... looks like we'll need to consult library and Daniel about shapeshifting countermeasures, unless we want to keep poking at everyone with Galadriel... and we should ask her about that too methinks.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun. Let's hope it won't be the final, magma or aquifer flood kind of fun.
>>
>>38600197
I wonder if just touching the hilt burns demons.

"Here hold this for a sec." While Gal is in a mundane form.
>>
>>38600197
I'm really hoping we don't need to have a conversation with Galadriel where we ask if she can turn into a condom...
>>
>>38600260
W-what?
>>
>>38600260

That would have been stupid thing to ask.
Galadriel is a sword, a weapon, not a shield.
>>
>>38600285
So we should ask her to hook us up with one of her kin who is more defensive?
