You decide to play things safe, and start out on the defensive, wanting to gage Cell's power before you try any attacks that might leave you vulnerable.

"Ah, so I'll have to start things off, will I?" Cell asks, chuckling. "Alright, let's start."

Cell rushes across the ring at incredible speed, throwing a powerful punch that you bring up your arms to block. While successful in defending yourself, you are still pushed to the very edge of the ring.

As Cell throws another punch in an effort to knock you out, you leap over his head, landing behind him and spinning as he turns and throws a kick that you duck beneath before uppercutting him in the jaw, knocking him into the sky out of the ring.

Stopping himself in the air, Cell looks down at you, yelling as he charges down and throws a punch. You leap back, and all he punches is a tile from the ring. He gets up and rushes at you, pressing his attack once again.

You are quickly forced back as you struggle to fend off Cell's savage flurry, and soon find yourself at the ring's edge.

Cell gives chase at once, and you throw an energy blast down at him that he easily swats aside before reaching you.

Avoiding the first punch he throws, you kick Cell in the chest, pushing him back a few feet before being forced back on the defensive as he savagely attacks once again.

You're tempted to use your Rampage Drive, but the risk of failure is just too great. So, you'll just have to do this the old fashioned way; pushing past your limits.

You struggle against Cell, putting everything you have into your attack and trying desperately to overwhelm him with your own strength. Your power rises the more you struggle, and you soon begin to overwhelm Cell.

Of course, given that he has your cells, he begins to gain strength in response to your own increase. Gritting his teeth, he pushes himself against you, not giving another inch as you continue to push yourself against him.

The two blasts continue to push against each other, sparks flying around the spot where they meet as the two of you continue to put more and more power into your struggle. The wind picks up all around you, and Miss Piiza is soon blown away, only to be caught by Yamcha. Hercule, meanwhile, rolls backwards under the force of the wind, and is caught by nobody.

"That's it! Good, give it everything you have! Don't stop pushing even for a moment!" Cell instructs you as he continues to feed more and more energy into his attack.

The sparks around the beams appear more rapidly now, and the space where the attacks meet begins to glow. As you and Cell give one final push, there is a colossal explosion, and the two of you are thrown back.

You crash to the ground, thankfully still within the ring, and Cell yells in shock as he is thrown further into the air. As you get to your feet, Cell begins to descend, and you rise to meet him.

"Excellent," Cell compliments in an exhilarated tone. "What a wonderful test of my power! This is exactly the fight I'd hoped for. It would be a shame for it to end over something so trivial as a ringout."

More I think about it the more I think this is more about damage control and trying to pull a fast one on Cell than actually outfighting him. He's just got too many bullshit powers to end it with whenever he wants, or if he thinks his existence is actually in danger. If we see a shot at taking him out better take it. Just drawing it out makes it all tougher.

Fucks sake in the canon it took Gohan losing his shit, Goku's death, and Vegeta going entirely out of character and HELPING to kill Cell, not to mention all the insanity leading up to it.
