I feel kind of bad for Theresa, but I'm also kind of relieved that I'm not the one who's being put on the spot for once. And I have to admit that watching Theresa freak out like this is pretty funny.

"Umm... umm..." Gabrielle starts to fidget in her seat, "...have you ever seen any, like... cute guys?"
"Uh, what?" Theresa stares at her. "You do know that I like girls, right?"
"Yeah yeah you're gay like Cecile and Charlotte and Mina and Sun-Mi," she sighs. "But that doesn't mean that you can't tell if someone's cute or not! I mean, I don't have to be gay to be able to tell that Cecile is," she says while pointing at me.

I could always encourage Gabrielle to push this further. I mean, it's funny as hell to watch Theresa squirm like this, and seeing Gabrielle squeal like a fangirl over someone who she doesn't realize is standing right in front of her is every bit as funny.

Great, so there's ANOTHER Branch holder in this city. And while I'm happy that it's not someone who wants to kill me for once, the fact that it's someone who wants to kill one of my friends kind of completely negates that.

The sudden appearance of a new Branch holder... more weird crimes going on... I mean it's already happened twice so far so it wouldn't be a stretch to think that that's what's going on this time too.

But even though it may not be evil, it definitely ruined the happy mood that we had going on here. Instead of sticking around, Gabrielle calls a taxi to drive her and Charlotte up.

After seeing them off, I head up to my room and collapse on my bed. The strain of pretty much using up all of my light magic whatevers while training with Charlotte earlier today is still weighing on me, and I'm really freaking tired.

Though I do kind of wish that Charlotte could've spent the night since I'm not -entirely- exhausted, I guess I do need my rest. And so, I set the alarm on my phone and place it on my nightstand along with my glasses, and fall fast asleep.

That's it for tonight's thread, folks... though it looks like everyone's gone. I guess running on Saturday night wasn't the best idea after all.

It was still a fun thread, so it wasn't a total loss. The next one will probably be on Monday night maybe.
