Being a queen is easy, but being a PROPER queen is difficult.

You've spent two entire days and nights sitting in a desolately unfurnished hall of the not-yet-Manse of Pearl, your throne an improvised stack of wooden crates and boxes mercifully concealed by a crimson cloth sheet.

Listening to grievances, addressing problems, organizing work turns, appeasing the unsatisfied, judging crimes and troubles, offering your interpretation of the law, and trying to get everyone to overwork themselves in the most efficient way possible to get this fortress finished before the armies of the dead put it to the test.

But, on the plus side, your presence and inspiration have brought a vast boost in productivity to the construction effort. You're sure that the fact that Tia is helping out with the heavy lifting has helped quite a bit as well.

As the last case (a representative from a laborer's guild who had come to renegotiate work hours) walks out of the room satisfied, you slouch on your uncomfortable "throne" with a deep sigh.

Just because you can work for days with no rest, sleep or food, it doesn't mean you enjoy it. But at least that takes care of all the problems and holdups that slowed down work here.

You pick up the sheaf of papers containing the notes and messages you tasked your few scribes and assistants on collecting, and tiredly go over them, now that you have time. The beginning of Pearl's bureaucracy, you guess. A rather unceremonious birth, but then, most are.

As far as the construction is concerned, you don't need to be a civil engineer to understand that, with the speed the work is going right now, it will take at the very least a month, instead of the... scarce four days you have left. But fortunately you still have cards to play.

Time to take exact stock of the situation.

Amata is back in Tianna, together with Zaan and Valeriana, taking advantage of the castle's sorcery room to summon demons who could help you as workforce. Well, Valeriana's role in all this is to try and learn sorcery so she can be of help as well, but you don't know how well that's going. If she can't do it fast enough, you might have to ask her to give up and return here to Pearl in her capacity as your lead engineer.

That sounds like a brutal thing to say.

On the other hand, unbeknownst to the others, some of Amata's demons will stay in Tianna to comb the Titan's ruins searching for anything useful.

In all this, Starfall said she knew someone who had a special talent with directing and organizing demons, and went to search for this person. You haven't heard from her since. You wonder how that went.

You guess that, once the demons will be on their way, Amata will take care of Dancing Smoke's memory problem. You decided that restoring the memory - and the hidden powers - of the volcano goddess is a risk worth taking, in your current situation.

Mikahil should be heading here to Pearl as long as he's finished with his business in Tianna, which should be any moment now. Having him here to organize the work and take your place as judge would really take a load off you. Besides, he's certainly more knowledgeable than you in matters of Tiannan law. Heck, maybe even in Gem law.

You flip through the papers. Talon is out in the wilderness with his tribesmen. Expert hunters and gatherers, they're the main source of food for your population here. Fields have been sown and farms set up, but until the first harvest next year, you'll be dependent on them, fishing, and supplies from Tianna. You're a bit worried about completely depleting the island's flora and fauna - it's a small ecosystem, after all. But you can worry about that later.

There are some reports from your spy network, even though you feel silly to think of it as such. It's mostly Zareen and a handful of people from Tianna's underbelly whom she beat up and forced to work for her. Apart from the usual sightings of Soaring Crimson Phoenix here and there, the situation seems peaceful.

Speaking of Phoenix... Tyrant of the Doomsday Machine's airship landed north of Pearl yesterday. You should probably prod her to provide the assistance she promised.

You still feel uneasy working with a Deathlord... even if she IS you in some twisted sort of way You try not to think about it too much.

Finally - as you turn the last page of notes and reminders - there's the two local powers around Pearl. Yaraon, the god of the plains... and Silk, who should still be in the Wyldland just beyond the river.

Yaraon technically is the god of this area, and Pearl falls under his domain - unless it will develop its own god, you're not sure how that works. But you should probably see him sooner or later.

And Silk... the Manse's design, by Valeriana, includes a special room designed to contain high-density Wyld harmlessly, but she did leave some notes on her projects and drawings about "needing Silk's help" for doing that. You're not sure how that procedure might work either, but it's been a while since you've seen Silk, and you do rather like the idea of being able to keep her in your Manse.

With a groan, you drop the mas of papers on your "throne"'s arm-rest, and nearly topple down the pile of boxes as a result. Standing up from the makeshift seat, you stretch a bit and crack your neck left and right, tired from your two full days of sitting on that damn thing.

Time to go from work to more work. You swear to the gods, once this is done you want a month of nothing but sleeping, eating, and banging Tia and Amata together. And maybe someone else, alright.

But, for now...

>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. Queen of Gem, now ruling the western island of Tianna. You have gathered a lot of allies and friends, and have a powerful Manse under construction.
But Tianna is actually an artificial island, built around a First Age Titan: an almighty flying fortress built in an ancient, forgotten age, and although this is kept secret, two Deathlords are seeking to obtain it.
The Tyrant of the Doomsday Machine, ghost of your past incarnation, seeked it as a weapon to cut her ties to the Neverborn. But you have persuaded her to try and seek redemption in the eyes of the Sun in other ways, and count her as an unlikely ally.
But now the Silver Prince is coming, to punish her and claim the Titan for himself in the name of Oblivion. And this looks like a battle you won't be able to talk your way out of...

>Solar? Zenith? I don't know Exalted...
This quest is as newbie-friendly as possible, and I want it to work as a newbie's intro to Exalted. If you have ANY question, ask in thread. For the setting, google "1d4chan exalted".

>Archive?
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solar%20Quest

>System?
Dicepool-like system. When performing an action, everyone rolls 1d10 when posting. the first X rolls are considered, where X is equal to attribute + ability. Yes, this means that the more people are posting, the stronger Maka is, up to a limit of her attribute + ability.

>XP?
Attributes cost [current score x5] xp. Abilities cost [current score x3] xp, except Zenith costing [(current score x3) -1]. Charms cost 10 xp, except for Zenith-based charms (related to charisma and physical/mental fortitude) which cost 8 xp. At the end of every "session" (thread) you will be presented with a list of possible acquisitions.

>>

Eh, but Maka is already dark skinned. She doesn't need clothes to sneak in the dark.

Jokes aside, 18 is at least sexy and looks better than a couple of other outfits. Like 11.
>>
>>39686867

Essence cost aside, even if the amulet were to offer an infinite wardrobe, do you have any idea of how much of a mess it would be?
>>

>Jokes aside, 18 is at least sexy and looks better than a couple of other outfits. Like 11.
I can't say I agree, I like the form fitting layered aesthetics of 11 way more than I do 18, it's just too plain for me too like.
>>
>>39686834
Yes, sorry. Should be (1C). Just a typo, will fix.
>>
>>39686922
But 11 is so ugly. There are better looking form fitting dresses out there, 11 is just so ugly and boring.
>>
>>39686906
Infinite Resplendence Amulet in 2e gives soak, +4 Appearance AND an infinite wardrobe of light clothing. It's more than worth an attunement.
>>
>>39686941
In 2e. How will it work in EQ instead?
>>
>>39686941
It also costs background points. 4 dots for having both soak and appearance bonuses, since the soak comes from the moonsilver amulet and the appearance from the orichalcum amulet.
>>
>>39686970
I don't know. Looking at our gauntlets and boots it'd probably add a +1 to Social and net us a minor bonus to soak?

>>39686981
>since the soak comes from the moonsilver amulet
No mate. 1L/1B simply from it base, which also doesn't count as armor.
>>
>>39686926
Does Fists of Iron (1C) and our orichalcum gauntlets/boots stack or not?
>>
>>39687026
It doesn't, it replaces them because it counts as equipment, not charm. but the (2B) effect does stack, because it does count as charm.
Once you're done stretching your limbs back to life, you summon a nice outfit and leave the "throne room".

The Manse right now is, mostly, a chaotic mess of noise and stuff scattered around. Boxes fulls of nails, beams of wood, clay bricks and marble blocks, papers, designs and blueprints, all over the place. The layout of the rooms and corridors still confuses the heck out of you, as, the way things are now, you don't have any idea of what anywhere is supposed to be.

You know that there's a general design that everyone's following, and you hope that this will mean that an actual palace will rise out of this formless chaos one day.

Of course, actual furniture and comforts will have to wait. All of your resources are focused on the structure for now.

Walking out to a balcony (still unfinished, with no railing), you gaze northwards. The river cuts the countryside from east to west, flowing down from the central mountains. It feels weird to know that a lot of the things you're seeing don't have a name yet. All this is new land, wrestled out of the Wyld, and it didn't exist until just recently.

And there, past the river, you see a block of thick, low-hanging fog, completely blotting a slice of the landscape out from view. Silk's abode.

You've neglected your pet lately. You hope she'll understand.

It's not so distant that you'd need to fly Tia there, you reason. It's literally within walking distance of Pearl.

You guess that's why many workers are rather spooked by the idea of the Wyld being so close, no matter how many reassurances you gave them that it's all under control.

Frankly you can't blame them.

Glancing down from the balcony, you see a massive marble pillar hopping around at a fast jog, and you guess that must be Tia under it. She's quite busy herself, helping out the workers move heavy stuff around. Some of the people who came up to talk with you were still a bit scared by her, or rather, creeped out by her absurd strength (and probably lack of common sense), but things had gone mostly smoothly, fortunately.

Well, except when someone called Tia while she was carrying a column and she turned around, hitting a wall with it and collapsing it over three guys. But that was an accident.

"Regis! Millain!" You turn and call for your servants. "We're going on a little trip!"

Your butler emerges from behind a pile of cement bags stacked in a corner, covered in dust and dirt, one of the bags slung over his shoulder. "How little?" He coughs.

"Long enough to count as a small break from work." You reply with a smile.

"...I don't need a break." He replies, walking up to you. That bag is larger than him, and probably heavier. "I can work. Everyone else is working, and I'd feel bad-"

"It's still work. I'm going to visit Silk, and you'll come with me as my servants, of course." You explain. "It's as important as construction work."

He doesn't seem too convinced, but he just nods. "Millian's in the kitchens, should I go and call her?"

"Please do." You nod, sending the little butler away.

You idly consider if you should also ask Pyre Spark to come with you.

You know she set up an improv temple near the worker's barracks, but right now no one has the time for proper worship, and neither you nor she hold it against them considering the circumstances.

Still, she's working hard to keep morale and motivation high among the workers and inhabitants of Pearl.

...But, to be honest, you're not too sure how she'd take the... well, how she'd take Silk.

"So, we're going to see your pet Fae?"

Still dressed in a chef's hat (a bit oversized for her), Millian walks up to you, followed by a Regis who looks like he took the chance to clean himself up a bit. "Why is this important now?"She asks.

"First of all, it's been a while since I last saw her. I feel like I've been a bad owner."

"She's not a dog, you know." Your maid points out.

"I know, she's a fae, and that also means that she could be of help against the Silver Prince." You add.

Millian shrugs, just accepting it. "Should I pack lunch?"

Yep, even if you CAN stay days without eating or resting, it doesn't mean you LIKE doing that. "Please do. Anything you can prepare or gather up in half a hour or less, though. We're on a tight schedule."

"Sure." She replies.

It's probably best if she stays.

It doesn't take long to get everything prepared. A change of clothes for Regis, a packed lunch from Millian, and a short walk and a boat trip later, you're about to enter the Wyld, or, as Pearl's citizens are now calling it (much to your amusement), the Danger Zone.

The zone itself is different from what you remember. Gone is the dark, decaying swamp dotted with crumbling ruins, which was, frankly, quite a bit creepy. It seems Silk has reshaped the area while you were gone more to her own personal liking and style, and perhaps (or rather, likely) influenced by your strict orders to not do anything that could hurt or be harmful to mortals.

So now it's a, well.

"Was this place always like this?" Millian wonders.

No, no it wasn't.

It does look pleasant, but the unnaturally vibrant colors, the humidity in the air high enough to make your breath turn into miniature clouds that drift away and sometimes start raining on their own, and the petals lazily floating in mid-air like someone tried to bring a picture to live without having any concept of "wind"... it all reminds you that you're in a very unnatural place.

With all your bearings lost, you can't even begin to find the path that leads to Silk's palace.

Fortunately, it seems like you don't have to. After a few minutes spent wandering in this bizarre place, the scenery parts, and a path made from solid water forms beneath your feet, splitting everything it runs across down the middle like a crack making its way through the world.

"I guess she noticed us." You just shrug, walking down it, trying to reassure the startled servants.

You want along the water path until, finally, you reach a lake from which a white castle rises, built in a circle.

You haven't even taken the first step inside that Silk launches onto you from the far end of the corridor, hitting you like an enormous water balloon

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONE FOREVER I WAS SO LONELY" you hear her shouting, you you can't answer because you find yourself struggling to get free of her own body as she wraps you around it. Distorted through the transparent matter, you see Regis and Millian looking at you horrified.

Finally, after a few terrible seconds, you manage to pull your head out of her. "Alright, SilkI Stay!"

The mass of bluish goo covering you flows away and around, gathering in a clump in front of you, which slowly regains humanoid features. And then, like that, silk is sitting there, on her knees, looking up to you expectantly and with a small, satisfied smile on her face.

"Good girl." You pat her head, taking care not to let her absorb bout again, but it seems she's solidified now. Millian facepalms.

As for Mil and Regis they should be fine due to Silk receiving us properly as guest and thus obtaining protection from any harmful effects from the Wyld.

>A bath
Might as well be comfy while we talk.

"A bath wouldn't be bad." You groan, realizing that you DO need to relax a bit, or you'll go crazy. "How were thing here while I was gone?"

"Nothing happened." She replies, seamlessly moving from "kneeling" to "standing" with an unnatural motion. "I just waited. Well, I guess I did play around a bit with the humans, but no one got hurt, so it's fine, right?"

You stare at her for a few seconds and then decide that she's saying the truth, but you're still afraid to ask what exactly went on there. "...Did you see the Manse?"

"Haven't visited it yet." She replies, walking away from you, grabbing an invisible handle in a wall and pulling out of it, with the cracking noise of stone breaking, the largest bath tub you've ever seen, carved in white stone. "But it looks nice, I guess. It looks kind of... what's the word? When something that should be there is missing?"

"...Unfinished?" You wonder, staring at the bathtub as it fills itself up with water from apparently no visible source.

"Yes, that." She nods. "Why is that?"

"...It's hard for humans outside of the Wyld to make things happen. It takes time." You try to explain.

"Are you planning on making Maka take a bath in a bathtub in the middle of a corridor?" Millian asks.

Silk looks down the corridor, both ways, a bit confused, then turns to the maid: "What's a corridor?"

"I'll... It's all right, Silk. Don't worry about it." You cut in. "So, Valeriana said she had a way to make a room fit for you in the manse, but she left a note saying that it needs your help. Did you two ever discuss this?"

The Fae looks like she's trying to remember something obscure and remote for a few seconds, but then she nods. "Oh. Ooooh! THAT. Alright. Yes. Sure."

I wonder if there was a way to use the city to harmlessly collect gossamer for Silk. IIRC even passive collection should give her more gossamer than the entire court used to have once the city gets large enough.
>>
>>39688787
Fae are weird
>>
After a brief silence, which you spent banishing your clothes and slipping in the warm water "...explain?" You ask her.

"She designed a room with my geometry, so I can fit in there. Also, I can bring all of my stuff." She seems happy about that.

"All of your stuff?"

"I can take all this with me there!" She gestures around.

"...The castle we're in?" You wonder.

"Well, all the Wyld."

"You can just remove it and move it INSIDE the Manse? It's nowhere big enough."

"It'll fit." She sounds certain of it. "That way I can stay near you, and inside the Manse! So I can get a bit of Gossamer from there, plus there's a lot of humans around! It'll be fun."

You soak in the bath water. "...Yes, but, Silk, remember."

"I know. No hurting them. But when there are a lot of humans, I can eat a bit of dreams from them, right? Just a bit, they're not even going to notice if there's so many of them." She explains eagerly. "That way, I can be stronger! And if I'm stronger, I can help you more!"

She licks her lips. Millian and Regis take a few nervous steps back.

Well, the other option is executing them. Or you prefer to let criminals just run around being destructive to society?

It's just the same as counselling, except more efficient. Sorry, bro, but cultures determine acceptable behaviour by consensus and ultimately conditioning happens whether magical or mundane.

The reason it's used by "evil" governments is because you've been conditioned to view their political and social stances that way. To them, YOU would be the evil one.

Oh, I guess Exile is also an option. Probably the worst one though, as you build up a group of disenfranchised people who are opposed to your way of life.
>>
>>39689455
I'm all for just executing them, like I said it just a personal taste thing, I'm not going to pretend my morals are absolute or anything, but we're playing Maka as a more or less unwritten book, what she feels about things are what we decide. Whether she's okay with rehabilitating people, or even things like slavery, or incestuous orgies are up to us to choose, Creation is a large place with room for all kinds of opinions, I was just stating mine here.

"Well... first of all, hands off Regis and Millian."

"I didn't do anything." She replies cheerfully.

You sigh. "You can feed on the people of Pearl, but on three conditions."

Millian looks like she wants to complain, but she bites her tongue and waits.

"One, you must NOT hurt them. Physically, mentally, emotionally. And I know it can be difficult to judge, but, Two: I'll be the judge of that. So you better always err on the side of caution."

She nods.

"Three, I expect you to be a productive citizen of Pearl as well. You'll have to help around. Put that Gossamer to good use."

"Of course!" She replies.

"Do you need some extra Gossamer to move the Wyld to Pearl, by the way? Your room has just been finished, only waiting for you."

"Some, just a bit." She smiles. "Though having more would make it better..."

"Better how?"

"Well..." She gazes out of a window. "You know how when Wyld retreats, it leaves new Creation, right?"

"Right." You wait for her to continue.

"If I use some Gossamer, I can decide what kind of Creation it leaves behind. Roughly. But I need more Gossamer than what I have now."

Regis immediately sees the potential. "So it could be like, a mountain right there, next to the coast and in the middle of a plain? Or a lake?"

She nods.

That sounds interesting. "It could be an incredibly fertile garden to solve any food problem in the island. Or rich in ores and minerals. Or in gems. Or in wood, or marble, or other construction materials."

She nods again. "But not all those together. Creation is too picky. And it must be "natural", I can't leave behind buildings or such."

"What about demesnes?"

"I can't control them, that's something Creation does on its own." She shrugs, casually slipping into the bath tub with you. Her transparent body becomes invisible underwater, or maybe it outright disappears, so you see only her bluish head peeking out of the water surface.

"I think what we need most right now is marble." You muse. "We're importing what we need for the Manse from the Denzik, but it's nowhere near what we'd need to complete the Manse. We had resigned to using clay brick walls within marble panels to make up for it, combined with the stone that can be mined from the quarries north of Tianna, which isn't very good but it's the only other construction-worthy stone on the island..."

You see her eyes glazing over. Clearly she can't follow this sort of technical things.

"...but if we had a large source of high-quality marble near Pearl, that would speed up everything by a lot."

Her frowns turns into a smile, glad to have found a way to help. "So I get to eat?"

"...Yes, you can eat. A bit. Remember the rules."

"Don't hurt anyone, err on the side of caution. Don't worry." She smiles.

Of course, she's sticking to those rules because she doesn't want to upset you, that's all. It's not like she understands that hurting people is wrong, merely that she has orders to not hurt anyone and she will follow them.

With a Fae, that's as much as you're likely to get. Besides, it's her nature, so it's pointless to get mad about it.

Ok, back home. Before going on with the thread, just one note concerning clothes.

You posted a lot of good ones, but i'm rather hesitant to change something that was decided by such a huge vote.

One possible solution it comes to mind is to arrange for Maka to redo her entire magical wardrobe, with a new vote, after this story arc. That, I think, would be the only way to do it that could be fair to everyone. Anyone disagrees?

You spend a few hours leisurely relaxing in Silk's palace. After so much time you spent lately working, running around, skipping meals, not sleeping, in uncomfortable places... three hours in a magical reshapeable castle with a shapeshifting pet ready to attend to your every whim feels like heaven.

After the bath, you eat Millian's food (not caring how weird it is to eat a boxed lunch in a lavish dinner room as is the one which Silk provides), and then enjoy Silk's massages and a brief nap, while your two servants also take the chance to rest for some time in squishy, comfortable water beds.

But you can't stay here for too long. You have a lot of things to do and to take care about. With a monumental effort of willpower, you prepare to leave.

Rousing the two servants, who are sleeping like rocks, proves to be harder than you expected, but eventually you manage to get them to pack up their few things and set off towards a new adventure.

...Is what you feel like saying, but it's not a long trip either. You just need to walk for half a hour inland, away from both the Manse and the Wyld, to beging to lose yourself in the ocean of fertile grassland that is the western plain of Tianna.

You remember riding a wave of magma around here not too long ago, but the scenery seems to have recovered from that splendidly. The grass is already long and green, and the landscape filled with life. You're not quite in the heart of Yaraon's territory yet, but it's not long from here.

"Would you rather be back at Silk's place to rest?" You ask Regis, catching him yawning.

"Nonsense." He replies. "I'm your butler. You didn't Awaken my Essence and train me so hard to leave me lazing about, right?"

"About that." You wonder. "How's that working out? I guess Essence is different for everyone, right? How do you feel?"

(cont.)
>>
Millian mumbles something. "I'm not sure how to explain it. It's like a sense that I've always had, but only now I understand how to use."

"Kind of like a blind man regaining sight?" You ask. That feels dramatic.

"Nothing that huge. It's not... not that big of a sense. More like... a feeling of warmth, or light, or pressure. And it's something on the inside, not so much on the outside." Regis notes, clenching a fist. You can see the dim pale yellow glow of a mote of Essence surging from within him and flowing into his hand, before disappearing.

His description kind of matches your own sensation when you Exalted, though your had a lot more screaming and punching and explosions. "Found any ways to use that?"

"I've been experimenting." "Same here." The two of them reply. "It's... fairly easy to use in straightforward ways, like to make you stronger or faster for a bit. You just let it bubble up and fill you. There are probably neater tricks to it, but I didn't have time to practice much lately." Regis adds.

Despite Awakening them, you're not sure yourself what the extent of their powers is, or if the powers they're learning are similar or different from your own Charms. And, unfortunately Regis is right. Exploring these issues might require days of meditation and practice you don't have right now.

Glancing around, you spot a small trail of smoke rising from the horizon, like from a chimney. But there shouldn't be anyone living here. Heading in that direction, you see a small, cozy prairie house rising from the distance, disproportionately fast compared to your own speed. A gut feeling tells you that that must be Yaraon's domain.

You quickly change clothes, summoning a light, skimpy green outfit adorned with jewels, figuring that Yaraon might like the color.

...And you silently approach a window.

"...What are you-" Millian asks.

"Shhh." You reply, inching ever closer.

[Physical + Night = 7 8 4 2 5 = 2 successes]

You peek inside. It's a comfy, cozy house, but rather simple-looking, with nothing special. You see an oaken table with a crown of flowers laid on it, shelves full of jars of colorful jam, a well-equipped kitchen and a cheerfully warm fireplace.

And then a door to another room opens and Yaraon peeks out of it and looks straight at you.

"...I wanted to check if you were home." You justify yourself instinctively.

"...This is my Sanctum, I'm the one who called you here." He replies with a groan.

You glance at Millian, puzzled. She replies with a shrug. "Gods are weird."

"Can we come in?" Regis wonders.

"I'll put up some tea." He gestures, walking out of the room. "Door's open. I wanted to talk to you about something important."

"Um. Thank you." You and your servants make way in his home. Is this a god's abode? It seems like a perfectly normal settler's house. Like a good place where to retire and live a peaceful life or something, but certainly not... magical or anything.

"Something weirds you out?" The god asks you, pouring some hot crimson-colored tea in three cups for you, Regis and Millian.

"Not really." You stop looking around so conspicuously. "Just that it's the first time visiting a Sanctum like this."

He lifts an eyebrow, but says nothing, fetching a tray with some cookies.

"So what did you want to talk about?" You wonder.

He puts the teapot down and looks at you with serious eyes. "...I think that Dancing Smoke might not be who we've always through."

"Oh, yeah, I know. She's actually an ancient amnesiac deity who just convinced herself of being a volcano goddess." You reply, nonchalantly.

He stares at you in amazement.

You shrug. "Long story. How did you learn about that?"

Recovering from surprise, he gives you a light smile. That's about when something small and shiny and jingling like a bell, or like a sack of coins, walks out of the door Yaraon left half-open.

It's a small kid - he'd be about five or six, in human years, but it's clearly not human. Covered in golden jewelry and wearing a long skirt of stuffy white cloth, his dark red eyes have a fire inside them, like they're simple lenses giving off the light coming from a furnace inside his skull. He stops in the middle of the room and looks up to you. "Maka?" He asks. Or is it a she? You're not sure you can tell.

You lift your eyes from the little good and meet Yaraon's.

"Long story." He shrugs and echoes your words.
