Your pale face is reflected in the train window as you stare at yourself, your eyes bright with a sort of nervous energy and your lips pressed together. Tucking your shoulder-length hair behind your ear and forcing yourself to smile a little, you then turn your attention to your pants and pat the legs of your jeans to reassure yourself that the knives are still there. Not for the first time this night, you're beginning to wonder if you're way in over your head. After all, you're heading out to a brothel in Nevada to locate, identify, and possibly detain a fae-like supernatural being hiding out there. And you're missing out on precious studying time to prepare for your finals. The train slows down as it arrives at the station, the voice over the speakers telling you that this is your stop. After taking a deep breath and exhaling, the cold mist swirling from your mouth, you put your hoodie up and step off of the train and onto the platform. It's currently around 12AM, so there isn't a lot of people waiting at the station. You pull out your map and ascertain that you know how get to the Twilight Realm, an exotic, themed brothel. It's a 20 minute walk, but this is an upscale town with clean streets and bright lights, so it shouldn't be too dangerous.Your burner phone sits heavily in your pocket, the brick being useless for everything besides calling other phones. So of course you>brought your own phone, despite the chance that someone could take the information on it to find your friends and family. You walk down the streets of the city, the decently tall buildings rising up around you as you make your way toward your destination. It's kind of weird to think that such a modern town would have something like a brothel in it, but you guess it's because this is one of the counties in Nevada that allows prostitution. You didn't bring your phone, of course. It would be awkward trying to explain why you were in Nevada if you dropped your phone and someone somehow managed to to ship it back to you. Besides, it would give away your identity too and you made sure not to bring any IDs with you, as per your employer's suggestion. The Twilight Realm makes itself visible as you glimpse it in the distance. If it hadn't been for the large yet somehow tasteful flashing neon sign in the front, you wouldn't have known that the sleek and modern building with grey walls and reflective windows was a whorehouse. In fact, it looks more like an office building, which makes it fit nicely into the surroundings. You take your time and walk around the block, reviewing the information you had been given in your head and generally looking around for any convenient alleys and streets in case you need to make a quick getaway. The thought of having to run from people chasing you nearly makes you jittery again, but you make yourself calm down before you can have second thoughts. The target, you remember, is supposed to be some sort of fae, with minor "glamour" abilities that let her change her appearance to be very attractive to almost anyone. Although, rather than actual "magical" glamour, it's more along the lines of belief-based body modification, but you suppose that's just a technicality.(1/2)
You walk down one of the alleyways that seems to lead toward the building. You see that there's an emergency exit on the first floor of the building in the back, and a fire exit with a staircase on each floor. You aren't too sure if people are looking through the windows above you, so you quickly duck out and go back to strolling down the street. You stop by a food vendor and spend some of the money your employers gave you. The hotdog is a welcome distraction and even somehow manages to calm your nerves, the warmth flooding through you and staving off the cold night. It's almost 1AM. You've waited long enough, and you doubt there's anything else you can glean from just walking around around. It's probably best to head in now before anyone sees you and asks you what you're doing.(2/2)>Head in through the front door, pretend you know what you're doing.>Reluctantly enter the building, pretend to be looking for a "friend".>Write-in.

>>39737140Technically, we'll be winking her out of existence and nudging her into a six-foot hole. So, yes, we're looking for a 'friend'.
Casual, right. You can do this. Those weeks at theatre summer camp during your middle school years will finally be paying off.You lower your hoodie and straighten your jacket, trying to make yourself as presentable as you can be in a jacket and jeans. This is going to be the first time you're visiting a brothel, and you really hope that it wouldn't be the last. As in, you want to make it out alive, not that you want to visit a brothel again some other time. The interior is a welcoming shade of grey, the color slightly warmer than the grey on the outside of the building. You sort of expected it to smell at least somewhat like sex, but the air is instead at a comfortable temperature and not humid at all. There's a little waiting area with chairs propped up against the walls, and a counter divides the room and sits in front of a hallway leading deeper into the building.A woman sits behind the counter, dressed in a sleek black business suit with her hair up in a bun. Her fingers type away on the keyboard in front of her even as she looks up at you. You quickly look away and at the large display behind the counter, the flatscreen scrolling through pictures of available girls in a variety of poses seductive enough to make you blush. You're immensely glad that you're the only one here at this time. You briefly wonder what your parents would think, skipping studying and going to a brothel, before you realize that you've been staring at the girls for an awfully long time.(1/3)
The receptionist coughs, bringing your attention back to her. "Welcome to the Twilight Realm. How may I help you today?"You give her a hopefully confident smile. "J-just looking around, you know, I'm just here to entertain myself."You mentally smack yourself in the head even as the words leave your mouth, but the receptionist doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she seems even more sure of the situation as she looks at you closely. She gives you a reassuring nod. "Looking to experiment, hm? You've come to right place. You see anyone that interests you?"You stare at her for a moment responding in the affirmative. "Yes? I mean, um, the girl with the orange hair is very pretty.""Summer?" she asks. "Great, I'll tell her you're coming up."You glance at the display again to make sure that you've chosen the right person and confirm that the person in question is indeed the one in the dossier given to you.The receptionist tilts her head and speaks into the microphone on her lapel, then waits for a response before speaking to you again. "I'll need some identification, please, along with whatever method of payment you prefer."(2/3)
You panic for a moment before realizing that you have the false ID from your employer, fumbling a bit as you hand it over to her. You're glad you looked up the prices beforehand in order to avoid the awkward questions, so you also deposit the necessary amount in a hefty stack of twenty dollars bills, enough for two hours with Summer. The receptionist raises an eyebrow at the amount in cash, but doesn't comment as she compares the photo on the ID to your current appearance.>You disguised yourself by: (Choose any number)>>Dyeing your hair a jumble of neon colors beforehand>>Slathering on makeup to make your skin blemish-free>>Putting on some fake piercings>>Putting on fake tattoos>>Fake glasses.>>Write-in.The photo matches what you look like, of course. "Down the hallway and to your right, room 10."You thank her and slip the paper into your pocket before walking down the hallway. You make your way directly to her room, not stopping to give yourself a chance to back out. You catch sight of a door labeled SECURITY on your way to her room, but it barely even alarms you as you quickly try to remember your assignment.Your dossier explained that Summer is wanted for questioning due to the possibility of her being complicit in an attack on a senator. What the senator was doing in the company of prostitutes was left unmentioned, of course, but was implied. You reassure yourself that your job is simple, really. Your numerous knives strapped to your calves are all made out of pure iron, and a single scratch from them would render your target immobile. They assured you that as long as you didn't do anything to her that would kill a normal human, she would be fine. You kind of wanted something like a gun or a ballistic knife, but they refused you based on the concerns that it would be too dangerous to you or the target.Just a scratch, you repeat to yourself. The knives are nice and sharp, so it wouldn't be an issue of whether or not they would penetrate clothing or skin. The only problem would be finding the right time to actually hurt her. After all, she was a supernatural creature, classified as a fae, and it would possibly be fatal to underestimate her.You arrive at her door, the orange nameplate on the it clearly spelling out Summer's name. You feel a little lightheaded as you finally realise that by the end of tonight, you'd have real, solid proof as to whether or not these supernatural creatures exist. Sure, you frequent a chatroom and a forum where people post grainy pictures and first-person accounts of fae sightings, and sure, you got the job offer along with a nice sum of cash and the possibility of future employment, but now you would finally be convince yourself, one-hundred percent, that these beings were real, and not just some made-up things from overactive imaginations or an elaborate prank funded by some wealthy jokers.(1/2)
Making sure that the pale makeup, the dyed lavender-pink hair, the fake metal studs pierced through your ear and nose, the fake tattoos spiraling down your jaw, and the fake pink glasses perched on your nose were all in place, you carefully press the buzzer next to the door. Not a moment later, the door opens and a woman stands in the entrance, her shock of messy orange hair immediately identifying her as none other than Summer. You can't help but stare at her outrageous appearance. She's draped in a sheer yellow fabric that barely covers her assets and leaves her chest and stomach exposed. Golden-orange strips run down the length of her body and the side of her face in swirls that seem to almost glow, giving her a mysterious and otherworldly look. She's a taller than you too, you realize as you look up at her. You're not that short, a good five-foot six, but she's still a few inches taller than you.She makes the first move. "Hello," she breathes, hints of citrusy perfume wafting your way.You unconsciously take a deep breath to breath the scent in before you can stop yourself. Luckily, your mind seems to be as clear as ever, the perfume not affecting your mental functions and just smelling nice. What do you do?>Make a bold first move, take the lead and head into her room, push her out of her rhythm>Let her lead you in, allow her to lower her guard>Shank her right now>Write-in.(2/2)

"H-hi," you manage to squeak out.She giggles and grabs your hand, gently pulling you into the room and closing the door behind you. The room's layout is similar to a hotel room, with a bathroom on your right and the rest of the room an open area. The walls are illuminated with a soft orange light from the two floor lamps that also highlight the colors of the large bed that takes up most of the floor space. There's a nightstand next to the bed, with an assortment of bottles on top of it that seem to be some sort of oil."I'm Summer," she purrs, sitting down on the bed. "Although I suppose you already knew that. What's your name?"You take a seat next to her, your heart pounding in your chest as you try to remember the name on the fake ID. Your REAL name is>Alana>Kira>Rachel>Write-in.—but you give her the fake name instead."Ummm," you stall for a moment before remembering. "I'm Rose."(1/2)
Summer grins at you. "Nice to meet you, Rose." She leans over and wraps her arms around you, her breath hot against your neck. "A lovely name for such a lovely girl."Little doubts begin to creep into your mind as she moves closer to you, making you wonder if you're taking things too far. You entertain the thought of jumping out of bed and running out of the room for a moment. It wasn't as though you were obligated to do anything, as they had already given you part of the money and made sure you understood that performing the job would be a voluntary decision. But thinking like that would lead you nowhere. You strengthen your resolve and decide to soldier on. Hell, you were already in this deep, so you might as well see things through. Leaving now would only raise suspicion."Is this your first time with a girl?" Summer whispers."Yes," you admit."Splendid," she murmurs. She takes your hand in her smooth palm, making you twitch, and places your hand on her thigh, uncomfortably close to her... place. "So, what do you want to do?"You're beginning to feel a little warm yourself.>Ask questions>Uhh... massage! >>39739947Ask if there's anything she won't do, to stall a bit while we get a look around the room (not that it'd likely have many clues, but still). Also the other questions brought up are good.
"Those massage oils look nice," you blurt out, your mind going to whatever was on hand at the moment. In one smooth action, she plucks one of the bottles off of the nightstand and flicks the top off, pouring a small amount onto her palm. She brings it close to your nose, allowing you to take a whiff. It smells like her, like oranges and somehow warmth, and makes you relax a bit."Would you like me to give you a massage? Or—" she winks "—do you want to touch me?"You stare, mesmerized, as the oil drips between her fingers and onto her smooth thighs in long strings of liquid. The perfume of the oil seems to spread through the room, rendering everything but Summer a blurry haze as you focus on her.You shake your head a little and blink a few times, opening your eyes to find that your vision is back to normal. Must be your anxiety, you decide. You haven't heard of any low-level fae being able to manipulate the minds of other people. She laughs—a clear, lilting sound soothing your mind as she reaches toward you and tucks a stray strand of hair behind your ear, her fingernails running down the side of your face and sending shivers through your body.(1/3)
"Make a decision," she says, moving her lips closer to yours, her honey-brown irises filling your vision. You're pretty sure that you aren't gay or even bisexual, but Summer is really making you question yourself. Unable to think of anything else, you try to stall for time."O-other than massaging, is there anything else you do? I-I mean, is there anything you won't do?"She pauses, skittering her fingers down your neck. Her lips curve upwards as she shows a bit of teeth, her tongue licking her lips as she considers your question. You take the time to quickly glance around the room and see if there's anything that can tell you more about what exactly she is. There doesn't seem to be anything obvious, but you do notice that the body paint along her face and body seem to be slightly brighter, although that's probably a trick of light as she tilts her head in response to your question."A little adventurous, are we?" she says, seeming a little pleased. "Well, I can't say I wouldn't enjoy doing naughty things with a girl like you."Oookay, maybe you need to back up a little before you end up gagged and bound to the bed."W-wait, let's just do the massage first," you quickly protest. "I don't even know if I like..."Your words die in your mouth as she delicately spills a bit of oil down her chest, the fluid trickling between her generous breasts and pooling in her navel before becoming hidden behind the sheer fabric.(2/3)
She laughs again, the sound pleasing to your ears. "I'll stop teasing you now, Rose. Come on, take off your clothes and I'll give you a massage wherever you want."You can't stop blushing as you take off your sweatshirt and the t-shirt underneath, leaving your bra on. "Just my back is fine," you quickly tell her.She hums noncommittally as she has you lie facedown on the bed. You brace for the cold oil, but you find that to your surprise, the oil is quite warm, the application of it already making you nice and loose. You ask her a few questions, groaning in between them as she works out a kink in your back or touches a particularly sensitive area. She opens up rather quickly to you, seemingly having nothing to hide. Apparently she's been working here for only a few months, but plans to probably stay a little longer as the place pays well and keeps their employees safe. She likes to go clubbing her in spare time, and offers to take you along sometime which you promise to think about. She's lived in a small town in somewhere in the middle of Nevada that you don't recognize for most of her life, but after she graduated high school she moved into this town and tried to find a job somewhere before settling into this profession. And yes, she's had a lot of experience with girls. While you're still recovering from the massage and the implications of the last question, she begins to slowly strip, allowing you to see every movement and curve."We're all ready and warmed up now, aren't we?" she says, wiping her hands down on a towel. "Let me have some fun now."You lay there, panting a little, as you watch her slowly lean toward you, her fingers hooking into the top of your jeans. Honest to say, it's a little hard to resist her offer at this point. A large portion of your mind is screaming for you to let her go through with it and that you can deal with the consequences afterwards.(3/4)

>>39742010...that's one of the best ideas I've ever heard.
You need to stop this now. It feels as though the longer you go on, the more control she's going to have over you, and that's going to be a really big problem if she really is a fae. With a herculean burst of effort, you push her off of you and scoot backwards on the bed a little, a hand going to the jeans around your knees that are currently barely hiding the knives underneath. You pretend to be pulling up your pants as you look at her and shake your head."Too fast," you pant, your face flushed and a bit of drool on your chin. "Slow...down... please..."Summer pouts a little, bringing her finger up to her nose and breathing in deeply."Rose, you must allow me to indulge," she purrs, a predatory expression coming over her face as she crawls toward you.You hurriedly wipe the line of drool off your face and ignore the sensations going on down there as you fumble around until you grasp the handle of your knife. The predatory expression is suddenly gone from her face, a smiling, calm, welcoming Summer there instead, as though she wasn't looking like she wanted to ravish you until you screamed for mercy. For a moment you just want to leap into her arms and apologize and give yourself up to her.(1/2)
But you focus harder and the mask flickers, her expression flipflopping and making you slightly nauseous until you finally break the illusion and make her face settle on an shocked expression. Before she can react, you pull the knife out of its sheath and lunge forward, managing to put a nasty gash into her left arm before she manages to rip the blade out of your hand. It's the first time you've ever cut a person, you realize belatedly, but even that stops registering as you look at her closely. You blood runs cold as you see that her fingers are now elongated and tipped with vicious red claws, her palm burnt and blackened from where she momentarily touched the iron. The wound on her left arm isn't healing, the blackened area instead beginning to spread in a vein-like pattern.Glamour that affected your mind, extremely quick body manipulation, and resistance to iron? You realize that this is no mere low-level fae as you pull out another knife and pull your jeans back up to your waist, taking advantage of the momentary lull while she observes you to button your pants. It's takes a few tries while she waits patiently, your fingers trembling with adrenaline."Rose..." Summer says, looking sad. "Don't do this."You grimace, wondering if she's been playing you the entire time. Nowhere in the dossier did it mention that fae could sense quantities of pure iron, but you're kind of wondering about it now.Her left arm is hanging loosely by her side, but she doesn't seem to be backing down.(2/2)>Ask questions, stall while you think. "Hey, are you okay?" you ask worriedly.Summer gasps in pain and clutches her left arm, her hair limp around her head as her face is locked in a rictus of pain. "Just... come over here," she hisses. You can't see what's wrong with her. She looks perfectly fine to you, as kind and as beautiful as usual, except for the spreading blackness down her left arm and her claw-tipped fingers currently shredding the bedcover into tatters with tiny audible snaps of fabric. You immediately scramble backwards, you knife brandished in front of you as you finally see the truth. "What have you been doing to me?" you ask, horrified. "You... you can't do that!""Insolent... girl," Summer grates, lifting her head and glaring at you. "Had you surrendered, I would have taken my time with you and welcomed you as my child.""What?" you ask, bewildered. "What are you talking about?"Summer ignores you as her expression suddenly changes, her face shifting into a mask of regality and disdain as she slides off the bed, her cheekbones highlighted by the gleaming orange swirls now spreading across her face. Her golden-brown irises slowly morph into an orange-red, matching her hair and making your heart thump in terror.(1/3)
You look for an opening as even as she discards her clothing, her nudeness only distracting you for a moment. Vibrant red tentrils of flesh rise out of her skin and form into form into a sleek set of pauldrons, the flesh continuing down her left arm and forcing the blackened limb to move. You scream obscenities out of terror as she begins stalking toward you, her left arm raised and her claws aimed forward, spiky needle-shaped implements emerging from her fingertips with beads of liquid forming at the ends."You need not fear," she assures you, the red armor on her shoulders expanding and forming some sort of bracers, "I will only exact an equal amount of retribution for my injuries. And after that, we can take all the time in the world to familiarize ourselves with each other."You scream in response to her words, unable to form a coherent reply, and wildly throw the knife at her. You realize a moment later that throwing away your only weapon might not have been the brightest idea, and dive off of the bed to grab the knife that had been knocked into the corner of the room.A shriek erupts from behind you. You turn around as quickly and blindly swing the knife, somehow managing to catch her swipe and slice through her fingers, the needle-tipped appendages scattering to the ground as she recoils, clutching the smoking ends of her digits. The knife you threw is sticking partway out of her cheekbone and partially cutting into her eye.(2/3)
You don't stop there, a sort of sheer panic overcoming you as you rip the other knife out of her eye, sending vitreous humour and tissue fragments all over you, and bring it back down. Summer catches both of the knives on the next swing in her forearms, the wounds smoking and blackening even as the red tendrils desperately try to patch the gaping injuries. You want no part in whatever she had planned for you and you show it by continuing to hack away at her hands, reducing her fingers to bloody stumps as you drive her backwards into the bathroom. She keeps backing up as you don't stop, allowing the indignation and rage and adrenaline to fuel you.Her heels hit the back of the bathtub, her good eye opening wide in shock as she falls backward and slams her head against the wall, briefly stunning her. You swing your knives again and only hit air, making you almost stumble and fall on top of her.You quickly backtrack, your arms feeling like lead weights as you realize that this is an opportunity to escape before she can recover."Wait," Summer says, coughing. She doesn't make any attempt to get up. "Please reconsider my offer. You have proved yourself more than worthy of my gift."(3/3)>Nope nope nope, just leave, call employers.>Finish her>Ask questions, prepare to bail if she makes any sudden moves>Write-in.

She's too dangerous to let live, you decide. You're pretty sure that you aren't thinking properly at the moment, considering what you've just been through, but from what you've seen, whatever she's done to the senator must be true.Or something like that. Either way, she's guilty, and you need to kill her before she kills anyone else, or tries to offer someone else her "gift", whatever that is.Taking a shuddering breath, you find that you can barely even lift one of the knives, the aftershock of the adrenaline leaving your system leaving you weaker than you thought.Summer watches you impassively as you drop one of the knives and grip the other one two-handed, lifting it above your head as you stumble toward her prone body in the bathtub. And then, of course, with your body as tired as it is, you slip on the blood smeared all over the bathroom tiles. A jolt of surprise runs sluggishly through your veins as you let go of the knife and slip forward, your legs vainly struggling to rebalance you as you slide toward the bathtub, your hands outstretched to grab anything to hold onto as everything seems to go in slow-motion.Just as you fall to your knees, your stomach hits the edge of the porcelain tub with a solid thump, knocking the air out of you. You faceplant into Summer's stomach, making her forcibly exhale a breath of air, and both of your hands finally find something soft and warm to hold onto. You're bone tired, out of weapons, and you have your neck presented to Summer like the easiest target in the world. You can't give a shit about anything anymore, so all you can do is begin to cry, your tears of frustration mingling with the blood covering Summer to form pinkish streaks that trail down her abdomen. You can feel something sharp against your neck, and as you wait for her to end your life you realize that you do, indeed, have proof that supernaturals exist.
But for a few moments, nothing happens, except for the fact that the sharpness on your neck becomes more of a pinprick sensation, a feeling of numbness spreading through your body and a headache growing in your skull."How unexpected," Summer whispers. "But welcomed nevertheless."You move your head through sheer effort, catching a glimpse of Summer's fingers growing into even longer, jagged, six-inch claws, each with a vein of fluid running through them."Stop resisting," she says, patting your cheek. And with that, you begin to feel the sensation of something sliding diagonally through the skin and flesh of your back and scraping against your ribcage. Despite the fact that there isn't any pain, which is probably due to whatever she just injected you with, just the feeling of something moving through your is enough to make you writhe weakly in nausea."What... you... doing?" you choke out."Injecting you with stem cells and nanobots," she says, amused that you bothered to ask. "But you may pretend that it is magic. After all, those fools..." she trails off, muttering under her breath. You try to ignore what she was doing to you, how you were barely even feeling the damage, and instead try to focus on what she was saying. Injecting you with things? Is this her idea of a gift? Because if so, she could take it and shove it up her...--->Resist!>Give in.>Beat it into submission and make it part of you.>Write-in.

Your name is Rachel Li, and you have two strict but loving parents. You have a little sister and a pet fish at home, you're a freshman in college, and you like to run around and investigate weird stories and weird happenings. You're not going to let something like some damn fae cells change you into a different, murderous, violent person who enjoys the suffering of others. No, you're going to resist it. In fact, while you're at it, you might as well go a step further and take this feeling, these urges, and make it part of yourself. Something that you can use, but also something that you can keep a lid on when you don't need it.The metaphorical lid feels a little imperfect, but you're sure that you have at least a decent measure of control. And so, you claw your way out of the darkness.---You wake to the sound of indistinct voices in a room away.Blinking the spots out of your vision, you realize that you're still in the bathtub, and that you can kind of see Summer sitting on the bed, her back turned away from you as she speaks into something held in her fingers. She looks normal again, the orange stripes that you are beginning to doubt is body paint the only indication of something unusual about her.You nose is a little clogged, making it hard to breath, so you try to open your mouth, only to find that your lips are sealed shut too. After a little panicking, you manage to wet your lips enough to dissolve the crust of dried blood that had dripped from your nose. The taste of iron is strong in your mouth too, and as you take a deep breath the smell of blood and iron almost overwhelms you and makes you a bit dizzy. Not only did you have a gigantic nosebleed, you realize, you also vomited blood. You look down and notice that your torso is covered in the dried blood. In fact, there's a dark puddle of sludge glueing your back to the smooth surface of the bathtub.(1/2)
You attempt to unstick yourself and almost scream in pain as you tug at the edges of the gash running diagonally down the length of your back. It feels like it goes from your left shoulder down to your right hip.Taking a deep breath, you try again, gently shimmying from side to side and allowing flakes of blood to break free before carefully sitting upright. You take a moment to recover from all the blood rushing away from your head. Your fake glasses had been knocked askew sometime while you were knocked out, and so you set them back into position. You perk your ears as you hear Summer responding to the person on the other end."I'm fine, Jen," she says. "She's just staying a little longer than usual. Yes, I know I'm not getting paid extra, but this was her first time and she fell asleep right after we were done."There's a pause.Summer's body shakes with a laugh. "Yes, she is cute. She's an adorable little thing."Lines of pain radiating from your back begin to call themselves to your attention, the pain growing worse with each passing second as whatever Summer injected you with begins to wear off. You try to breath quietly, but it's a little hard with how raw your throat and lungs feel. You suppose you must have screamed a lot while you were unconscious. One of the knives is right next to the edge of the bathtub, while the other is somewhere closer to the entrance of the bathroom, probably hidden behind the toilet.Summer's conversation seems to be winding down. You need to do something before she notices that you're awake.(2/2)>Grab knife.>Surprise attack while her back is turned!>Play dead, wait for her to come.>Sneak out before she notices, grab clothes off the ground on the way.>Run away as fast as you can, grab clothes off the ground on the way.>Bargain with her, be diplomatic. You don't know what she's done to you, but she needs to pay. You're thinking a little more clearly now, and you're sure that she's a dangerous person that needs to be put down. After all, what's stopping her from grabbing anyone else off the street and turning them into some sort of fae? With a small grunt, you get up into a crouching position and grab the knife. You rest there for a moment, letting your the blood flow through your previous immobile limbs, before standing up and stepping out of the bathtub.Luckily, most of the blood on the floor has dried by this point, so you don't slip and fall like you did last time. Your cheeks burn a little as you recall what had happened and what exactly your hands had landed upon, but you quickly shake your head and clear your mind. You wait as Summer says her goodbyes to the person on the other end. The moment she begins to put down her small microphone, you sprint or at least powerwalk as fast as you can toward her, making sure not to aggravate the injury on your back. She's either in worse shape than you thought or just doesn't notice you as run toward her exposed backside. You're within striking range when she finally begins to turn around, her eyes widening a fraction as you slam your knife into her right shoulder, the knife cleanly slicing between the bones and severing the tendons. You pull back as she swipes at you, her claws missing you by inches as she takes a step backward. The bloody mess of her left eye stares accusingly at you, indicating that she might not be as well as she seems.(1/2)
"Why me?" you shout at her. "Why did you do this to me?""Because I can see underneath those layers of makeup, Rose," she responds without hesitation. "I can see you as a beautiful young woman, with such a wonderful, strong personality. You'd make an excellent addition to our kind."Her words kind of make you feel nice, in an odd, worrying sort of way."In addition, if you had died, how long would it have taken anyone to begin searching for you? I assume you did not tell anyone that you were heading to a brothel in the middle of the night. This was simply an opportunity I could not pass over."And that feeling is now gone. You grit your teeth, preparing to make your next move. Her armor is manifesting again, the red tendrils emerging from her skin, but at a much slower rate than before. Her right arm is disabled and doesn't seem to be healing, and you have a feeling that her left arm should also still be injured if her eye is an indication.(2/2)>Attack to disable, cut her legs down and run away>Attack to kill, stab her in the chest until you pierce her heart>Talk her down, ask her what she wants from you>Write-in.

As it turns out, your assumption was correct.Summer is barely able to put up a fight as you lunge at her and slam your shoulder into her chest, knocking her backward and slamming her into the wall. You notice with a bit of alarm that the drywall cracked a little from the impact, a dent in the wall as Summer slides down to her knees. You slice off the longer red tendrils before stabbing her left thigh and then her right thigh, leaving steaming black wounds behind as you hold the knife up to her throat. A tiny corner of your mind is horrified by your brutality, but you mercilessly crush it, intent on doing what you need to do."Talk," you growl, your voice a little hoarse from your screaming fit while you were unconscious. "What exactly did you do to me? Don't give me any roundabout answers."There's a sheen of sweat on her face as she struggles to respond, her left arm weakly pressing at the growing black stains on her thighs."Stop that," you say, "or I'll disable your left arm too."It takes her a moment to put her indifferent mask on before looking up and speaking. "I made you into a fae, Rose. You should cherish my gift. Not everyone receives such an opportunity and survives the experience."You hiss in frustration. "I know you turned me into a fae, you've been talking about that the entire time. I'll ask you one more time: What exactly did you do to me? What did your 'stem cells' and 'nanobots' do to me?"(1/2)
She sighs. "Do not talk that way around the others, Rose. Most believe that their transformation is due to magic, and most choose to remain in ignorance." She holds up a finger before you can interrupt. "And now, as for your question. You should have had your mind and your body altered. You will find that you will be prone to fits of whimsy or violence or trickery. It is a little different for everyone. Your body, on the other hand, will respond to your thoughts, your beliefs. The more you indulge yourself, the more changes you will be able to make, and the longer you can believe and hold the changes without something breaking them, the more permanent the changes will be. And of course, in a day or two you will be unable to even touch the knife you are holding now without injury."She smiles a little at the expression on your face. "Does that answer your question, Rose?""Y-yes, it does," you reply, your mind whirling with the new information. It seems a little insane, and you're not sure how much you believe, and how much is true. Maybe the way you're clamping down on your fae personality is helping with the whole "not-touching-iron" thing? You'll need time to process the information, but for now you make sure that you remember what she said and go on to your next question."You said something before, about you attacking the senator because he was going to harm your 'brethren'. What did you mean by that? Who attacked him with you?"(2/3)
Summer makes a tsking noise. "I did not kill him. I only threatened him in responses to his actions concerning the others of our kind. If you must know the specifics, tell your employers that I am one of the original Court and they will understand. Maybe I will tell you the story myself, one day, if you have proven yourself worthy."You threaten her some more, even going as far as pressing the knife into her throat and leaving a black line, but she refuses to say more about anything. You aren't sure how much time has passed at this point, but it's bound to be late.(3/3)>Check your phone for the time>Call your employers, tell them about Summer, get someone to pick her up>>Tell them what happened to you>>Don't tell them, and make sure Summer knows not to tell them>Execute her, leave, tell your employers that you killed in self defense>Write-in.

Alright, so it seems that most people are going to sleep (although I just got a bunch of responses while writing this post dangit sorry) so I think I'm going to call it a stop here. I need to get up in a few hours, which is a lot earlier than I want to get up.I'll continue next time with a summary and the same options, so remember your votes! I don't know if I'll run tomorrow, I'll probably be too tired and too busy, but I will tweet something if I decide to run.So yeah, hope you guys enjoyed, and thank you for sticking around so long. Man, the choices were somewhat logical on an individual level and with the meta-knowledge that Fae can be terrible bitches, but catching up afterwards this thread reads like a deranged murderer going after their first prostitute. Summer seems pretty swell to me.
