You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. Your scouting trip to the caverns beneath your camp has had its ups and downs, you found plenty of loot, getting to turn over an abandoned dwarven trading post nearby, but you also spent far more time than you liked being chased off by the things lurking down there.

The Kulakin are the first problem. While they don't seem to like getting near the river, they obviously managed to overcome that dislike long enough to slaughter all the dwarves, so you can't rely on that to ward them off forever. They are nowhere near as tough as your warriors, but you know very well that trying to push through their cramped tunnels weathering ambushes would cut into your limited numbers very quickly.

The other problem is the rotting corpse which has taken up residence in the trading post's living quarters. It hasn't left its fetid lair, but you know too little about what the thing is capable of to be comforted by that.

On the plus side, you did meet one being down there who didn't attack you on sight, the river fey Vaki, whom you managed to organize some profitable trades with. Very profitable. She doesn't seem eager to follow through with your latest one until you wash the filth off from the living quarters though.

>Continue trading with Vaki (what for what?)
>Wash off in the river and 'trade' with Vaki
>Leave it for now, go question Ku'zag about the things down here
>Leave it for now, go gather reinforcements

Once we get to playing with Vaki, I want to make some bets with her.
First of all, if we don't manage to impress her with our size, then we kill the Rotten Man for her for free.
If Ur impresses her with the Ur D, then the other wager comes into effect, and if he can satisfy her, then she will be loyal to him, if he can't, then he'll kill the Rotten Man for free.
Then, if he managed to satisfy her beyond all expectations, he kills the Rotten Man for her, and she becomes loyal to him and agrees to bear his children if he wishes, if he can't manage this he'll kill the Rotten Man, and kill a lot of those mole man things(I assume those are Kulaki).
I'm not sure about the last part, might be more preferable to have Vaki become Ur'shal's willingly or something.
>>39868791
The runic shell is a good point, probably a Kulaki thing, but even if not, good to show to Ku'zag.
>>
>>39868792
Not exactly. They just have a lot of jade there.

The dwarven maps listed it as the Jadite Tribal Lands, but according to Ku'zag the Jadite tribes got their shit together in the past few centuries.

>>
>>Did we please the milf goddess?
>You sure did
But Y'zagya Zoka likes Orcish dominance and supremacy, so would she be more pleased if we dom her or something?
Was she pleased especially because Ur learned that he can take females without damaging them by taking a route other than fighting/violence when they aren't enslaved?
>>
>>39868873
I have brought up the option to check the wall several times since the quest started, and it has never won, so no.
>>
>>39868873
We don't want to check it out unless we're fairly strong, to not grab enemies' attention.
I doubt it's really guarded, since it's probably considered impossible to break through and they probably think Orcs are as good as dead, since we're in the Wastes.
But oh how wrong they are on both of those things.
>>
>>39868874
You do know she likes it a lot when orcs fuck non-orcs right?
>>
>>39868905
Yes, but remember that the domains she took over when she became a god were Fertility and Dominance.
The reason she likes orcs raping nonorcs is that it established Orcish Dominance.
She doesn't generally like female orcs fucking nonorcs because nonorcs are usually weaker, and the females could instead be pumping out more pure orcs for the good of orckind.

You head down to near the tunnel, leaving the fey behind and stepping into the shallows, stripping off to bathe at the edge of the river, tossing your clothes to Ashuris to hold on to rather than dumping them on the waterlogged ground. Your weapons you keep nearby, you aren't that foolish.

Your warriors keep an eye out for Kulakin as you scrub yourself, which takes a frustratingly long time. The filth of the living quarters clings to you like it has a will of its own, and when the last of it is scoured from your skin, you feel an oppressive weight lifting that you hadn't noticed until now.

“You done, all clean? Poison goes downstream, not pollutes Vaki's home,” a voice calls from the water, and you spot the top of Vaki's head breaking the surface, staring at you with her large, dark eyes from the gloomy waters.

“Yeah, I'm done,” You grunt.

Vaki giggles, staring at your nude form. “It's so big, why is it so big? Vaki never saw one that big before. Are all you green men that big?”

You smirk, shrugging. “Orcs are the biggest, and me, I'm big even for an orc.”

“Trade time,” Vaki chirps, lunging out of the water and grabbing you by the arm with surprising force for a creature of her size.

“Vaki can't wait,” she giggles, wrenching you forward in her enthusiasm.

Towards the river.

Fuck.

Can we keep Ur's size a surprise for Vaki until it's dramatically appropriate once the lewdness has begun?
Especially if we do that wager idea.

>tfw they do it in the river every time
>tfw Ur's fluids are washed away with the river
>tfw every female downstream becomes addicted
>tfw once he begins to explore downwards, all females throw themselves at him

>>39869167

>tfw Vaki grants Ur the ability to breathe underwater just because she really can't wait to mate and she likes doing it underwater more

“Vaki,” you growl.

“Come on, come on, hurry,” the fey chirps, still pulling at you.

While you are stronger than her, she is by no means weak, and caught unaware on slippery ground you find yourself stumbling in her grasp. Just when you think you are about to tumble face-first into the dark river, you manage to plant your foot against a rocky outcrop.

“Enough Vaki, I can't breathe in the water, we can mate out here,” you grunt, bringing your strength to bear from your newfound position of stability and pulling the fey up out of the water.

“Huh, you can't?” Vaki asks, cocking her head, staring up at you, her hands still clinging to your forearm.

“No, Vaki. Orcs can't breathe water.”

“So just don't breathe then, silly,” the fey giggles, tugging at your arm again.

“Doesn't work that way,” you sigh. No longer caught unaware, Vaki makes no progress in tugging you towards the river, and gives up after a few seconds.

“No-one Vaki meets can breathe water. No-one even wants to try. Vaki has been breathing water for a long, long time, it's easy.”

“Maybe someday, Vaki. For now, if you want to mate, we're going to have to do it up here,” you grunt, bringing an arm round behind Vaki's back and pulling her forward against you.

The feeling of her cool, slick skin against you is odd, but not unpleasant. You feel yourself starting to harden as the fey rubs up against you with a giggle, your rod slipping across her flat stomach.

Okay, here's what we do.
We gather the ones under Slaggyr's spell, and straight up tell them what's up.
Tell them how this is dangerous to us, so we have an idea of how to solve this which doesn't involve putting them at loss of sensory capabilities or death.
We're sending them to a different camp, farther away from Slaggyr, with some orcs that don't have the spell on them, so they won't get sensitive information, and the clan will be able to control a larger area.
Once we kill Slaggyr, this won't be necessary anymore, and we'll decide what to do then.
We'll keep in contact through couriers, or Vultures.
Maybe we should do that after we do some business in the south, so we can put the new camp between our current one and the forest, I don't want to put them close to abyssal shit.

“You washed off the rotten man smell, you smell nice now,” Vaki purrs, dragging her long tongue across your pec, a slight sting as her pointed teeth catch the skin.

“Really nice, taste nice too,” she moans, staring up at you, a trickle of blood on her chin from where her teeth jabbed you.

Not entirely sure that you want Vaki developing a taste for you in that way, you push her back gently, just enough to admire her lithe, glistening body, the dark, almost black nipples of her palm-sized breasts poking out with arousal.

You're not sure you could get a good enough grip on the slippery fey to lift her, so instead you lower her to the rocky ground of the riverside, Vaki apparently unconcerned by the stony ground under her back. The river laps against your side as you kneel down in front of her, running a large hand up the bluish-grey skin of her long, smooth thigh.

“Come on, come on,” Vaki chirps, breaking into a wide, toothy grin. She arches her back and raises her hips, trying to scoot towards your throbbing erection, but you smirk, pressing a hand against her hip and inching forwards. Instead of thrusting into the fey, letting your cock slide over her eager pussy, and hear a satisfying pip as the head brushes over her swollen button.

“What's the rush, Vaki?” you grin, one hand rubbing the fey's thigh, the other sliding up across her body, over her flat stomach, up to her breasts. Not the biggest of your women, but they feet comfortably into your palm. Vaki gives a quiet moan as you roll the nipple under your hand, catching it between thumb and forefinger and giving a light pinch. The fey reacts well, one dark eye closing, a sound of pleasure deep in her throat.

(cont)
>>
>>39870479
You let your hand slide up over her shoulder, brushing up her neck, and Vaki lets out a sudden laugh as your hands slip over her gills.

“Tickles, stop it,” she giggles, slick body writhing in your grip, her breath quickening as her movements rub the underside of your shaft against her clit.

You smirk, bringing a hand up to her cheek, cupping the side of her face. The fey's half-lidded eyes open to regard to curiously, dark and shining.

You keep your eyes locked on hers as you shift your hips back, your hand slipping from Vaki's hips to line yourself up, spreading her lower lips with your fingers as you press forwards, feeling the warmth of her arousal radiating from her depths.

“You an I, Vaki, are going to do a lot of trading from now on,” you grin.

Vaki nuzzles against your hand, her sharp teeth nipping at the flesh of your palm. You push forwards, into her folds, the heat of the fey's insides a stark contrast from her cool skin as her body swallows your length.

She looses her grip on your hand, mouth wide as she lets out a high-pitched cry. You smirk, watching the fey's expression grow dreamy as you push deeper and deeper, her slim body welcoming you despite your size, her walls gripping you hungrily.

You start to drag yourself back out, a slow process, Vaki's body seeming reluctant to let you go. The fey lets out a quiet, whining “nooo” as you pull all the way back to the head, just barely inside of her, and you feel Vaki clamp down around you.

(cont)
>>
>>39870493
You stay like that for a few seconds, Vaki's eyes opening a crack, her hips writhing against you, trying to push herself further inside, but this time her water-slicked skin works against her, as the fey fails to find purchase on the riverside stone.

“Quit teasing Vaki, put it back in or Vaki will bite you,” the fey moans, and true to her warning her pointed teeth clamp lightly around your hand once more.

You smirk, gripping onto her waist as best you can with your other hand and pushing back into her, faster, deeper.

“How is it, Vaki?” you grin, picking up a steady pace as Vaki wraps her legs around your waist as far as she can, and the two of you work together, driving your cock as deep as it can go into the fey's lithe body, heavy balls slapping against her athletic rear with every thrust.

“Niiice, good trade, Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan is a good trader,” Vaki moans. Her teeth have left your hand, and now she seems more content to nuzzle against your palm, her long tongue lapping at the pinprick wounds she left in your skin.

The clapping of flesh on flesh echoes down the dark tunnels, mingling with the sounds of running water and the melodic cries of the river fey. With a howl of pleasure, the fey clamps down around you tighter still, your thrusts pushing her over the edge to a shuddering, screaming peak.

You smirk, pressing through the throes of her passion, slamming into her still-sensitive body. Her hands come up to hold the back of yours as it rests on her cheek, her nails digging into the skin as she buries her face beneath it, screaming another orgasm into your palm.

(cont)
>>
>>39870506
You feel your own release coming, and with a grunt you pick up the pace, hammering into the fey's depths with a final burst of energy. You feel your balls tighten as you slam down to the hilt, balls pressed against her writhing ass, pumping a thick, heavy load deep inside of her. You don't know much about fey, but if they work anything like mortals, there's no way she won't be pregnant after that.

“Best... trade... ever,” the fey mumbles, a drunken slur in her voice as she lets her legs slip from your back, slumping to the ground.

You grin, pulling back out of her slowly, another shudder running through her body as the head slips loose of her depths, followed by a slow trickle of thick, orcish seed.

“Are you done?” Ashuris sighs, as you pick yourself up, glancing from the blissful fey to the rest of your group.

Ashuris' cheeks are flushed, the sights, sounds and smells of your mating having obviously gotten to the ogress, and from the looks on the faces of the rest of your pack, you can tell their minds are more on finding something of their own to bury their cocks in than fighting right now.

Just a tidbit for now, we can ask harem later, it might be problematic without forward planning.

Ask were the mole rat folks have their main lair, and if there is a fast way into the center.

We will have to deal with them eventually, and all we really need to do is kill the leadership.

I'm conflicted.
If we want her to join th harem, now might be the best time to ask, since she's still high on her orgasms.
But I'm not sure if getting her in the harem is a good idea, or if it'd even work, I don't really want her to leave the river, feels like she belongs here.
>>
Maybe the cuck wizard knows a water breathing spell too.

>Give Vaki a kiss
>Ask her for info, state that you will kill the rotten man anyway. Make mention of your harem above ground to test the waters
>>
>>39870721
The river could run for hundreds of miles, or she could just require fresh water.

We have plenty of time to test her range. Bringing her into the harem is probably a bad idea due to how she perceives others. Until she is taught how mortals act and behave. We don't want another "he was trying to eat me" moment.
By the by: great upside of the molerat folks, we can use them as a continuous supply of sacrifices for the ogresses.
>>

Kiss should've been done while still inside her, seems awkward now.

“Start bringing the loot up to the surface, when you're done, go get some rest and find some slaves to fuck, you've earned it,” you call to your warriors, who start shifting the chests of gold and weapons at an impressive speed with that motivation.

While they get to work, you redress yourself, looking down at the fey, still flat on her back by the riverside, the seed dribbling out between her legs being picked up and washed away by the river. Vaki grins up at you as she sees you looking.

“Trade time, Vaki, I think you owe me some information,” you grin.

Vaki waves a hand lazily in the air. “Vaki will tell you anything, Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan earned it.”

“The Kulakin, do you know where they have their nest?”

Vaki stretches out an arm, point in the direction of the tunnel you were ambushed in.

“That way, and another way past the dwarf place. Vaki never went that far after them though, just catch the ones who come near the riverside, stick them with Vaki's spear and drag them under. Taste's not so bad once you get used to it.”

You frown, not exactly helpful.

“So you don't know a quick way there?”

“Vaki doesn't.”

“Is there anything you can tell me about the river?”

Vaki shrugs, slipping two fingers between her legs, staring curiously at a strand of cum sticking to them as she draws them away.

“Vaki knows all the kinds of fish in the river, Vaki knows about all the things that live by the river, Vaki knows about all the things that fall into the river, Vaki knows lots of stuff about the river.”

The fey giggles, spreading the fingers apart and watching the cum slide slowly down to her palm.

“Vaki, do you have magic? Are you bound to this river?”

“Magic? What's that?” the fey asks, staring at you blankly.

“Spells, sorcery, you know, magic,” you grunt.

(cont)
>>
>>39871155
Vaki continues to give you a blank look. “Vaki just does what Vaki does. Vaki likes the river, Vaki has always been in the river. Vaki likes it here, it's wet and dark and has all the fish Vaki could ever want.”

“So you could leave the river if you wanted?”

“Vaki could.”

“Tell me Vaki, would you like to come join my harem?”

Vaki sits up slowly, the cum on her hand forgotten as she picks herself up.

“What's a harem?”

“It means you would be one of my women, that we could mate a lot, and you wouldn't have to trade for it.”

Vaki rocks on her heels, making a humming sound in the back of her throat.

“...but Vaki would have to leave the river, right?”

“Not all the time, but you might have to sometimes,” you admit.

“Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan is a tricky one. Vaki does like mating with you a lot, but Vaki likes her river too. Why can't Vaki stay here and you come mate with Vaki anyway?”

“Sometimes I have to move around, Vaki, I would only be able to mate with you while I'm by the river,” you explain, Vaki stopping her rocking.

“Vaki likes her river. Vaki thinks she likes Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan too, but Vaki likes her river. If Vaki refuses, will Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan stop trading with Vaki and mating with Vaki?”

“No, we can still mate and trade, but someday I might need to move. If you come with me, I can show you new rivers, lakes, all kinds of things.”

Vaki shakes her head. “Vaki isn't sure, Vaki can't just leave her river just like that.”

You shrug. “You don't need to decide yet Vaki. I'm not going anywhere any time soon. We can still mate and trade for as long as I'm here, and if you decide you want to join later, you can ask.”

Vaki giggles, a wide grin back on her face.

“Vaki will decide later. You want do to more trades, Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan?”

“How about some more shiny things for that seashell you showed me before?”

Vaki cocks her head, a momentary pause as she tries to recall what you're talking about, then in one fluid motion, she disappears into the river. Re-emerging a minute later clutching the shell.

You hand her another elvish ornament, which she takes gingerly, grinning as she holds it up to admire it from all angles, passing you the rune-covered shell.

The shell seems to buzz in your hands, almost imperceptibly, but you can feel it, a strange current running up your arm from the sensation, fogging your senses. You frown, putting the shell into a bag, not sure what would happen if you kept holding it for too long.

“Come back soon, Ur'shal of the Stonetusk Clan. Vaki will be waiting. Vaki wants to mate and trade more and more,” the fey giggles, and before you can even respond, she slips back into the water and vanishes beneath the surface.

With that done, you start the walk back up the tunnel, your warriors lugging the last of the loot with them, to a collection of curious faces at the top as your warriors cluster round to look at the pile stacked up by the entranceway.

You have it taken to one of the huts you've been using for storage, you can figure out what to do with all this shiny junk later. It seems Zo'rok still isn't back yet, so either Or'kaz went a long way, or something went wrong, you're hoping the former.

“Ashuris, that pet of yours, has he got the chest open yet?” you grunt, leaving the activity of the loot being moved behind you.

“He did recently, and without blowing himself up in the process, which shows some degree of basic competence at least. He said it was heavily warded, far more heavily than that half-giant idiot's shaman could have handled. Perhaps it's something he picked up years ago, maybe Slaagyr or one of his followers gave it to him.”

You grunt, heading for the hut where you've been storing some of these things, and where the elf wizard spends his time sleeping in a corner when Ashuris doesn't need him for something.

He sits up groggily as you enter, and you smirk as he glares at you, sliding a hand around behind Ashuris to squeeze her soft rump.

“I don't think your pet likes me, Ashuris,” you grin, a finger slipping down to brush her lips.

Ashuris flushes fiercely, exhaling a hot breath as you play with her.

“It doesn't matter what he likes. You, idiot, don't just stand there, tell him what you found in the chest, now!” Ashuris snaps, her voice hitching as you slip a finger up to the first joint inside of her.

“Yes mistress,” the elf grumbles, grinding his teeth as he turns away to lug the open chest over, putting it down on the floor in front of you.

“Most of it was just old trophies, not magical. Fangs, claws, horns, a dented dwarven helmet, an... elven skull. Those sorts of things. There were a few other things though,” the elf explains, pointedly not looking up at you as you play with his mistress, a second finger joining the first.

“Well, hurry up,” you growl.

The elf picks three things out of the chest one by one and sets them on the ground, first a small stone cube, filled with indentations and strange symbols, next to it he places what, to you, looks like a simple length of string, and finally a set of gauntlets, probably slightly too small for the half-giant, though they do look like they were designed for orcish hands.

“The gauntlets are simple enough, they build up a magical charge which can be released through any weapon wielded in the form of an electric shock. They take time to draw the necessary magic though, so you can only use them once every few hours.”

Sounds useful. You grunt, waiting for him to continue.

“The string is supposed to be used with a bow. I don't believe it matters what bow you use it with, the string itself enhances the bow, increases the power of the arrow, another fairly simple enchantment.”

He moves onto the box, picking it up gingerly.

“This one is a puzzlebox, of sorts. I haven't tried to open it, and I would recommend against anyone doing so without due care and attention. When solved, it opens a portal. I have no way of knowing exactly where to without testing it out though.”

“I found more things underground, he can identify those two,” you grunt, taking the shortsword and shell out and placing them down on a nearby crate.

The elf glares, but goes over to look at the items, muttering in his flowing elven tongue.

The spell is over quickly, though the elf looks exhausted afterwards, sweating and flushed. You suppose identifying items must take a lot of out spellcasters, or the elf is just weak.

Probably the latter.

“The shortsword is designed to harm fey, it interferes with their magical energies, it would make them sluggish and confused, weaken them,” the elf explains.

You frown, perhaps it's just a coincidence, or perhaps one of the dwarves had some plans for Vaki. Either way, it doesn't matter now.

“The shell... it's a binding stone of a sort. The spirit of a living thing is bound to the stone, which can be summoned into being temporarily to follow the summoner's orders if the correct command word is spoken while holding it.”

The elf turns the stone over, glancing at both sides. He starts to sound out a series of strange words, half sound vaguely dwarven from when you heard Ashuris using it before, the rest are strange, sharp, high-pitched noises and low moans that the elf seems to have trouble making.

“It's a mix of dwarven and siren script. Perhaps designed as some sort of gift between the two races.”

You pick up the shortsword and the shell, the familiar buzz travelling up your arm as you handle it. You slide the shortsword into your belt, stowing away the shell, you should probably ask Ku'zag about it before you speak any command words.

“Do you think the shortsword would work on that thing in the trading post?” you ask, glancing at Ashuris.

“Maybe, it didn't look much like a fey to me though,” Ashuris shrugs.

“You, elf, have you ever heard about something like this?” you grunt, rattling through a concise account of your encounter with the 'rotten man'.

“No, it sounds like necromancy,” the elf replies.

Hardly useful.

With that said, you turn and leave the hut, heading for the shaman.

You hear Ku'zag before you see him, berating the unfortunate orc you sent to carry the box of vials to his tent.

“Problem, Ku'zag?”

“This fool came crashing in, put the box down and crushed my supply of dried grubtoad,” Ku'zag snarls, jabbing a bony finger at the orc, who looks very nervous, despite having a good hundred pounds on the elderly shaman.

“We can find you more grubtoad,” you sigh, shooing away the relieved orc.

“So did you want something, chieftain, other than to fill my tent with more rubbish?”

“I wanted you to tell me what you thought those vials were. I also wanted to ask you a few questions, and get you to take a look at a few things,” you grunt.

So Ur, what questions do you want to ask the shaman?

Would using the dagger to freeze the water work?
>>
>>39874003
It's no ordinary water it's probably contamined with magic that keeps the man "alive" so I wouldn't bet on boiling it.
Also it probably has stone floor and it would take a while to heat the stone up to the boiling temp. since it probably can store a lot of heat.
However if we could melt the rock it would be extra lava. But I think that one would be really straining for the spellcaster.
>>
>>39874064
>>Hmm, considering the dagger managed to do some pretty fucking decent damage to an orc(having the arm amputated), and I assume orcs have above 37 °C body temperature, I think that dagger could make a failry decent sized ice sphere in the cold water, freeze the zombie's limb or something. Damn near anything in that water will catch fire before it boils. and even if it did boil, it wouldn't boil off like water does, water has some fairly unique properties.
>>
>>39874086
Vaporizing the water would make the water go away and the bad shit would stay in its pure form. The fact that the bad shit is in water is actually helping us because the water dilutes the bad magical shit.

“Any idea what those are, first,” you grunt, gesturing to the vials.

Ku'zag sighs, picking out one of the bottles and squinting at the contents. He pries off the lid, sniffing it, then pours it out into a small bowl.

You watch as the shaman spends some time gathering up various ingredients, mixing, grinding, pouring and sprinkling, the contents of the bowl changing color more than once and emitting some worrying smells along the way.

“It's a form of purifying elixir. It burns away impurities in the body, both mundane and magical, and speeds the healing process, it basically tries to force the body back to its 'natural' form.”

“It would work on gaunt possession?”

“To a degree, it would give the one suffering from it a better chance at the very least,” he grunts.

“That's useful. Could you make more?”

Ku'zag shakes his head. “It's not that I couldn't, but I don't have the ingredients for it, especially not this mixture.”

“Fine, so we have... fourty-nine doses, since I take it we can't use the one you threw all that other stuff into.”

“Not unless you want your teeth to fall out,” Ku'zag grunts, dumping the contents on the dusty ground.

(cont)
>>
>>39875232
“Useful anyway. What about this thing. The elf said it was a 'binding stone', what do you think?” you ask, holding up the shell.

“I never really got the knack for testing artifacts, but I am aware of binding stones, and this looks like it could be one. I'll give you one piece of advice. Call it outdoors the first time, you don't know how big the thing that comes out of it will be after all,” the shaman grunts, rolling the shell in his hand, eyeing it as it turns.

“I'll remember that,” you reply, remembering just how close you came to summoning it in the storage hut. That could have been... interesting.

“You found all these things underground, then? Hardly the sort of thing I'd expect to find washed up by the side of a river.”

You shake your head. “There's a dwarven trade post down there, abandoned, looks like they have a whole network of them from the mountaints down to the city-states,” you explain.

Ku'zag frowns. “Never knew about that, sneaky little bastards. I suppose that explains the elixirs, half the ingredients probably came from a dwarven fungal garden.”

“I found some other things down there too. Some sort of strange undead dwarf for one,” you explain.

Ku'zag listens with a sour look on his face as you describe the creature.

“You washed yourself off I hope?”

“I did, the others who went down with me haven't yet,” you reply.

Ku'zag wrinkles his nose, flagging down a passing orc and telling him to order every last one of those orcs to bathe immediately.

(cont)
>>
>>39875260
You watch as Ku'zag shuffles back over to you, still looking sour.

“It's not undead, not exactly. I've heard of these things before, though I've never met one. One of the Pestilent, a kind of divine spirit of some long-dead god of decay. After their god was devoured by some human lion-god, many of the divine spirits fled to the mortal realm. Without a link to their god, they started to fade, so they possess the dead, surrounding themselves with the trappings of decay to hold off their inevitable destruction. Many have faded away over the centuries, but some still remain, half-mad from the knowledge of their fate.

Their filth forms a link to the spirit, it is slow and insidious, but they can start to pollute the souls of those they are linked to. It is fatal in time.”

Far worse than some zombie then.

“So how do I deal with it? It's lurking down there in the water, and I can't get close to it without wading in again.”

“I would recommend something drastic, and that you make sure there are no other corpses around it could jump into. Not bones, it has to be a reasonably fresh carcass.”

“When you say drastic?”

“Bring the roof down on it, boil the water... drastic. This is not the sort of thing you can play around with. You're lucky you got out of there as intact as you did.”

(cont)
>>
>>39875287
You nod, frowning.

“Okay, I'll remember that. There was something else I met down there too though. Some sort of fey living in the river, called herself Vaki.”

Ku'zag narrows his eyes.

“...and you fucked it.”

He didn't really phrase that as a question, but you answer all the same.

“I did.”

“Well, be careful, fey don't look at things the same way the rest of us do. Still, they are not immune to our dominance, fuck her enough times, and she'll be as addicted to you as all the rest.”

“You think she'd leave the river then?”

“Perhaps, I doubt she could survive away from water indefinitely though if she is a river fey. I would also recommend introducing her to life in your harem slowly. Even if she doesn't mean to anger you, fey don't look at things the same way as us, she might do something you wouldn't expect, something harmful to you or someone else here.”

You nod, frowning, something to think about.
