LAST TIME ON SPACE ALCOHOLIC QUEST

WE GOT FUCKING WASTED AND BECAME BEST FRIENDS WITH YAMCHA WHO DIDNT JOB ALL OVER THE PLACE

SOME WEIRD ASS DREAMS HAPPENED IN WHICH FRIEZA JOBBED TO US

WE THEN WENT TO TALK WITH AN OLD SLUG WHO HAD SOME REALLY KICKASS TEA AND A SCARY AS FUCK BLACK MAN AROUND

SPACE LIZARD STARTED TO TRAIN, THE WORLD TREMBLES IN FEAR AND AMAZEMENT.

Oh and we're hungry now, back to Capsule Corp to get some dank breakfast, eggs and bacon anyone?
>>
Breakfast sounds like a good plan at this point, training is nice and all, but it won't do you much good if you end up passing out from hunger or anything like that.

Pushing yourself up to your feet, you stretch out. You might be able to get some more information out of the humans anyways, if they're still around.

Once again in the air, you shoot off towards the direction of Capsule Corp.

________________

After a bit of an explanation in regards to where you were, and why Yamcha woke up and crapped his pants a few hours ago when you started training, you, Bulma, Krillin, Yamcha, and the Briefs couple sat down for a nice meal together.

The blonde woman thought you were cute

This was a strange thing

Once you'd had your fill of Earthling food, it was time for Krillin and Yamcha to be on their way back to the Lookout to continue their training with Kami and Popo. The pair gave you an offer to train with them, considering how strong you were, they thought it would help a lot.

Bulma also wished to talk for a bit about the technology that you had, on your ship, and back with the rest of your 'people' in space. She's eager to study it if you'll let her.

I already said this in the other thread, but incase it got missed, I think Arctus's endgame should be becoming something like the Dominion from DS9. We use diplomacy and negotiation, the implication(occasionally the actual deed) of military conquest if refused, and the protection of our person/armies against outside threats to coerce planets into joining our empire. Once they are part of it, we integrate them as smoothly as possible so we have one unified and assimilated whole.

We are a benevolent emperor and rule the galaxy as we see fit.

For a brief (kek) moment in time, you considered the possibility of making Bulma your empress when you actually rule the Universe. She's introduced you to this wonderous thing called bacon, and deserves a proper reward after all

Once you've actually slapped yourself into not being a complete and utter retard, you decide that spending some time with the blue haired woman would be benificial, to both you, and possibly the empire as a whole, you've heard about these capsule things from Yamcha.

You've agreed to share a bit of knowledge with the human, if she'll do the same for you, and it seems that Bulma is all too happy to make that sort of agreement.

The question is, what do you share?

Depends on how well they can replicate it. I doubt they'll be able to mass-produce the whole thing because of various chemistry techniques and other advanced methods that are no doubt applied in its production, but they could make some sort of crude knockoff that would still do wonders for Earth medicine.

The ship is a rather dangerous one, too much investigation and you'd end up stuck on this planet for a while.

The scouter would be just as bad, it's still new and Cooler would likely prefer if you didn't give one of the most vital pieces of PTO tech over to the Humans

You're tempted to do it anyways, would probably piss Frieza off by association

In the end you settle on the healing gel that your ship contains, there's an extra supply of it, just in case, so you can afford to spare some.

When you inform Bulma of the properties of the gel, her eyes practically change into dollar signs.

She's more than happy to inform you of the capsule technology if it turns out she could synthesize a replication of the healing gel, evidently this world was still primitive when it came to medicine.

Giving a shrug, you figure why not, the Human will probably only trust you more after all of this, so there really isn't a downside so long as Cooler doesn't FUCK EVERYTHING UP by calling you at the wrong time.

You make an excuse to go grab your scouter really quick and turn off the communication function. Even tearing off the side of it to check to see if there's any hidden bugs, when you're rather certain all is fine, you return to Bulma

With the human climbing into your arms, something she calls 'bridal style' whatever that is, it seems you're ready to get going.

Keeping things nice and slow, you don't want to hurt Bulma after all, you keep things steady as you make the journey back to the ship. Along the way Bulma gives you a decent bit of information about the capsule system, letting you in on it's secrets and how it works.

You're fairly confident you can replicate that on your own now

Landing at the ship, and opening the landing hatch to allow Bulma up first, you follow suit, guiding her to the healing chambers, of which you have two.

Tapping a finger against her chin, Bulma seems to be deep in thought, staring at the gel, giving it a light sniff as well

"Must be something within the gel itself... nanomachines? No no... that wouldn't be right. It wouldn't explain the actual healing properties this is supposed to have."

"Can't be a mixture of salves or anything either, else it'd be far too simple to just overproduce and supply every soldier with a pack for emergencies."

It appears the woman is enjoying this puzzle, but is getting frustrated with it. As much as watching her think amuses you, you did promise to tell her.

"You're half right Bulma. The primary component is synthetic Saiyan DNA. Their healing rate is astronomical compared to the average biped, by replicating certain aspects of their genome, along with nanomachines and a few special plants that have healing properties, we're left with this.

The look on her face is priceless.

You're having fun with this, it's interesting to see someoe that enjoys science as much as you do attempt to figure things out that are far beyond the technology levels of their world.

Deciding to continue the game a bit, you motion for Bulma to follow after you. The engines, the communications system, even the weapons, you let her have a crack at all of them.

She comes incredibly close just based off of visual details and being able to feel it all out, but falls short every time from being able to get the answer completely correct.

By the time you've finished showing Bulma the most interesting things on the ship, because otherwise you'd be here till Vegeta arrived and then some, you capsule the healing pod.

With Bulma once again in your arms, you're heading back to Capsule Corp.

When you arrive, Bulma mentions she wants to get to work immediately trying to figure out a way to replicate the gel for use here on Earth.

Giving you the invitation to come by whenever you want, to discuss science, or share a drink together, she heads towards her Lab.

The temptation to stick around Capsule Corp and flex your brain for a while with SCIENCE is quite strong, but you did promise to do some stuff with the humans that are now at the Lookout.

You're hesitant to speak to Kami again, after the weakness that he managed to draw forth from you last time, and resolve to make this a quick visit, or at the very least try to stay away from the Namekian if you can.

Landing on the Lookout, you can see the group from yesterday all training together. Chiaotzu and Tien are sparring off to the side, while Krillin and Yamcha are attempting to fight Mr. Popo.

Simply running away from them won't solve much, so you decide to make the pair work for it.

Using a speed slightly faster whatever the two humans can muster, you fly backwards away from them, you're eager to see just how well the two can do, even if they can't take on Nappa or Vegeta.

It turns out the humans aren't stupid enough to be fooled into following you so easily though, with Yamcha keeping you on your toes, at least at this power level, Krillin comes in from the side at high speed.

Colliding with the arm you've put up to guard yourself, the monk flips back and charges again, with Yamcha taking advantage of the moment to do the same.

Keeping the pair moving, and not letting them get control of the situation, you're noticing the way they fight as a team, rather than how PTO soldiers typically lone wolf it, or flail about.

Every strike these two throw your was is thought out, they're trying to make you open up so that the other can land a blow.

It's quite interesting to analyze.

You've analyzed enough of their offensive capabilities for the moment to understand that these Earthlings work best when fighting together, even when fighting at what you believe to be about double their power level, they're managing to keep you on your feet, not letting you have any room for an instance.

"I can see why Raditz fell despite being stronger at the time. You people have this down to a science."

A sly little grin shows up on your face, pushing out your energy from both hands, you send both Yamcha and Krillin back away from you.

"Unfortuntately for you, science just so happens to be my poin of expertise." Well that and booze.

Once the humans recovered a bit from your manuever, you charge in towards the pair. They're expecting fists and feet, not a tail.

It's obvious they didn't think you'd use your fifth appendenge as a weapon, but a high speed flip and the CRACK of it impacting againt Krillin's skull proves otherwise. The bald martial artist being forced back up from the sheer amount of force behind the blow, you kick him away.

Having just enough time to react as Yamcha makes his move once again

"Wolf Fang Fist!"

You swear you could hear the sound of the animal the move was named after as he attacks, swiping, claws, it's a brutal technique, one that manages to catch you off guard.

The double imapact of his palms against your chest sending you sliding back a few feet at the end, Yamcha is left panting, while you are relatively uninjured.

You can't see Krillin...

You didn't put enough power into that attack to seriously injure him, so why hadn't he rejoined the battle yet?

Perhaps...

Closing your eyes, you try to direct your energy outwards, searching for whatever might be Krillin.

There really is no reason to just get hit. Showing them that we are far stronger just lets them know what they are facing. It'll do them better to know there are enemies that can crush them like insects out there, and they need to get stronger.

With both of the humans powered down, and catching your breath, you have to admit you're rather surprised and pleased about how they managed to take on a superior foe by working together.

Sure they didn't beat you, but really, you hadn't been expecting that in the slightest.

"I'm impressed, that attack managed to increase your power by at least triple what it was before, according to my scouter. How did you manage to do that?"

Krillin explains after catching his breath that the technique he used was called the Kamehameha, taught to him and the rest of the turtle style students. Evidently the technique manages to focus quite a large amount of your energy into one single point, and let it build up before letting it explode.

Following Krillin's instructions, you reach deep inside of yourself, gathering up your energy.

And you know, that deep down, you're capable of more, so much more.

When you've sustained the beam for several seconds, you feel that any longer would just drain your energy, and at the moment that really doesn't help much.

Not if it stops in front of them, then explodes.

Too much time to dodge makes it useless if we ever use it on someone and they get away.

That sly little grin once again returns to your face as you glance at the humans.

"Thank you for that Krillin, quite the interesting technique you have. You've shown me yours, now I'll show you mine, a fair trade." You weren't one of those sneaky Clorfors after all, you didn't steal.

It takes a little bit of thinking on how to properly apply the technique to your staple attack, and quite frankly you need to practice a bit if you're going to attempt it while moving.

Focusing the energy into your finger tip, you clutch your fist and bring it up to be level with you

Extending a single finger

"Death Beam!"

What was normally a thin pink ray, is now about half the size of the kamehameha that you just performed, and noticeably weaker, but still much more powerful than the attack would have been under normal circumstances.

It also has the bonus of not being so obvious as to when you're going to use it, quite the nice trade off so far as you're concerned.

I dont see how that would be a reverse Kamehameha, since that sounds completely unrelated. KMHMH wave is a wave attack, after all.

We could make a sticky bomb sort of attack, pleasantly warm when it attaches, but it blows up in your face real fucking hard, just like the real thing!

But he doesn't have a tail.

Tails are naturally used for balance and, in many species, as secondary graspers.

It affects our center of balance heavily, so most martial arts would be absolutely useless for us, even if we flew, since martial arts are not designed to be used in the air, either.

And extra arms are not a tail.

You're a bit tired, it's not even that late into the day and you've had two somewhat intense training sessions and done some sciencing with Bulma, perhaps it was best to take a break for a while.

Lowering your hand after the attack finished, and when it seems that the boys managed to pick their jaws up again, you flash a grin

"So... you guys got anything to drink up here?" You ask as though it's the most casual question in the world

A few seconds later, it appears that they've recovered enough to laugh, even getting a chuckle out of Tien of all people.

You all end up taking a break for lunch, Mr. Popo providing quite a feast to chow down on.

He even brings out some aged whiskey at your request, what a nice fellow, still scary, you get the feeling it'd be best not to mess with him.

While eating and resting, Krillin is surprised to learn you managed to sense him so easily when he was going to attack you, but still gives a few pointers on making the whole thing easier.

>Congratulations! You've learned how to sense Energy and use the Kamehameha! You've developed a new Form of Death Beam! You've strengthened your relationship with the Human Krillin!

After stuffing your face and getting a bit of that wonderful buzz of semi-intoxication back, you bid farewell to the Lookout crew, saying that you may come around again sometime soon to train more.

For now, your sights are set on the last little group of people that you've interacted with since landing on Earth.

The Namekian Piccolo, and the Halfbreed Saiyan Gohan. You've gathered that the Namekian had taken Gohan away after Raditz was defeated by the sacrifice of Goku, that the child had shown incredible strength that Piccolo thought would be vital to staving off the Saiyan invasion.

For one that was so young, but still had the same amount of power as Krillin and the other humans, you were inclined to agree with that assessment.

Deciding to forgo using your scouter for this one, you sense for the energies of the pair, managing to lock onto them, you alter your course and soon enough find yourself at yet another wasteland.

Seems like Earth has quite a lot of these.

They evidently sense your approach as well.

When you land in front of the pair, it seems as though they've just finished a spar, with Gohan looking much worse for the wear than his master.

With the Namekian simply staring you down with a scowl on his face, Gohan on the other hand looks quite pleased. "Mr. Arctus! I was hoping you'd come by, we felt you on the Lookout, that was incredible! You feel even stronger than before!"

It seems this whole training thing was paying off indeed.

Best of three twice, first best of three was a 65, second time 77 won.

Knowing YOU though....things might not be that simple. In order a 65, 17, 54, and a 30 and 45 after the first three but might still be important.

the second set of rolls was 30, 15, 77 and then a 61 and 66 after the first three.

Of course there was a 52 and 56 that were rolled randomly in the thread, do they have a roll too?

Best of three high? low? Was it for us? Saiyans? some for us some for them?

Honestly?
As much as some people don't want them, and some people really do, ill just tell you what i think.

With all the implying and hype you have done, keeping them both male even if their relationship is vastly different will be a let down, because after aaaaaaall the BUT WHAT IF, their needs to be something drastic delivered.

If genderswaps are delivered, it would at least fit what people are exited/terrified for and would make things more memorable. Anything safe would be kind of a let down i believe, so go for it.

How you exactly go about delivering the WHO and WHAT and HOW is up to you, and as QM, you need to think carefully and then deliver hard.

Long story short and RAMBLES aside, make it exiting. (Just the rambles of an anon, take them as you will.)
