When we last left our princess we won a battle against an undead horde, took in a bunch of rat folk refugees and exiles, finish of the undead horde, and mourn those that have fallen before waking from a nightmare about the lich whose caused all this death because of an insane sense of mercy, foretelling possible war on the continent between the heavens and hells, if anything about the nightmare can be trusted that is.

Currently you have made no laws whatsoever. The Kingdom of Treeline is a kingdom in only it's name and loyalty of your men. Your country is currently a hive of lawlessness with only your warriors keeping the peace by their own ambition. Fortunately you only had your military and farmers until recently, with the addition of merchants, a town square, and an inn tavern, public drunkeness, fights, and theft, caused more by visitors then your own people though they aren't all clean themselves, have started to become common within the last few weeks.

You institute the following laws:
>Rape punishable by death
>Stealing costs you 2x the value you stole
>False testimony is punishable by 3 years hard labor or more.

Until a proper city guard is your castle guard will be performing double duty with the help of volunteers to try and enforce these laws.

You decide to meet with the Dwarves, it's only fair as you were their ally supplier of alcohol and men in the recent war. Perhaps even ask them about your strange dream. First though you'll need to decide who to bring with you.

With that he goes and assembles the team and have word sent ahead of your arrival as royal etiquette dictates.

Your travel to the capital of Cravenwood mountains is meet with swift travel and no interruption beyond rest stops. When you arrive you are greeted by a literal welcome wagon at the entrance of the giant mountain tower that held the entrance to the dwarven fortress city below.

"Your highness! Praise be the angels for your arrival. I know you might think your contribution small to a war, but you helped us out of your own free will, with no obligation, and no ask for payment or service in turn. Certainly more generous then any of our other allies. That alone is worth our respect. Please, take this wagon of dwarven ale as thanks for your help. >Other, Ask for a tour of the city to end with speaking with the king

It's at first disturbing sights as you enter to see all the carnage the fighting had brought. Their were still dwarves hanging form the ceiling with ropes with buckets and scrubbers cleaning the blood off the walls. After awhile though the carnage ceases and you see the entire city, well almost, the entire city would take days they tell you but you see all the major marks of dwarven society, the breweries, the craftsman shops of all kinds, the stone carvers, the blacksmiths, the metal workers, the jewelers, their feasting halls, and the entrance to the mines and the vaults, your not shown in however. Until finally you finally reach the king's throne hall and lay your eyes upon King Urlal. He's a broad man with the thickest and reddest of beards. He gets up from his throne, walks slowly to you, lifts his old stern face, and gives a small smile before reaching out his hand.

When this continent was first discovered, the eldest civilization here was already dead in the sand wastes, so we had the place all to ourselves. Including the Tree of Starlight. It's the source of all magic in Mondshire forest, powerful to,before they made it their kingdom. This land has always been plagued by dragons, a red dragon still slumbers in the mountains.

The Elves, who had been sneaking in to live in the forest anyway, made a deal with us. They'd magically make sure the dragon that was destroying what we had just built was no longer a problem for us, if we gave them the forest, including the Tree of Starlight.

We thought they would use the magic to kill the dragon, not just put it to sleep. When we argued they didn't do there part, they told us that they could wake the dragon at any time from it's magical slumber and allow it to destroy us.

So we conceded and gave them the forest and the Tree of Starlight. That wasn't enough for them though, ever since they've been acting like even I am below even their dukes. Always dangling the red dragon over us. So that's why they're a thorn in my side. Now do we have a deal or not?"

I just saying on the off chance it does come to attack us, we have the fight draw close to the green dragon's lair.

If you mean we go and attack the red dragon and slay it?

Well... The red dragon yet sleeps in the mountain, yes? Then we should see if we can work with the dorfs to find our way to its lair without the elves knowing.

One option to potentially kill it would be the good ol' magma flood.

Otherwise we could attempt to rig it to wake up.

It it wakes up and start rampaging among the elf stronghold, we could engineer a 3 nation effort to kill the beast and get the elves to stop being snooty.

I meant what did you think of >>39892462.

The dwarves aren't going to like it if we allow it to rampage. We're less than a hundred troops: to them, we'd be doing more harm than good if we let it rampage.

We could figure a way to direct it to the elves and force them to help, but if negotiations fail, the dwarves and the elves are going to war right afterwards. That, and with the church right between them, one or both sides is going to be crushed under paladin feet.

I think collapsing the mountain would be the alarm clock for the red dragon since I don't really see how that might kill it unless its really really alot of soil on top. Even then, the chances of killing it outright is iffy.

Green dragon consultation is obviously something we should do regardless. I'm just curious what that pervert might ask in return. We'll have to see.

I'm hesitant on the green dragon on the off-chance he's got a brain.

>oh, the princess wants help to kill that red dragon I hate
>wait, the princess wants to kill a dragon
later
>the princess KILLED A DRAGON
>fuck me, I'm next, it's a good thing I've had plenty of time to concoct a plan
instead of
>it's that princess again. Is she finally going to join my harem?
>oh, she wants to kill me? How foolish-
>....when did she get strong enough to kill adult dragons?
