>This quest is basically a HotD x Lovecraftian Horror crossover. If you've played Bloodborne, you will have a good idea what this will be about. But this has girls and harems and shits.

>You're the protagonist of an apocalyptic world, where you need balls and gals to thrive and survive, as you pick up bigass guns, hot chicks and superpowers along the way. You'll need them, because all kinds of jank bullshit monsters are coming for you.

As Mary and Kanna practice, and you sit on a side, having your snack, you notice how Kanna at one moment takes the katana, with mary hesitantly lending it over. Then, with a swift movement, she tries it out with a stern, focused face, and a smile. She did enjoy playing as samurai hero - but at one moment, you hear Mary give a loud "Ah!" in pain. You lean upwards and notice that she had been cut accidentally by Kanna's childish playing.

The midget was apologizing profusely, bowing repeatedly, with Mary waving it off with a slight smile. You stand up and check it out.

"What happened?" you ask.

"Ah, nothing. Just a cut." she says, showing her wounded elbow, which was starting to bleed abundantly.

"I'm sorry, Mary! Really. Won't happen again - I sware." Kanna interjects.

"Yes, I know, Kanna. It's ok, really. But...Wow." Mary says. "I didn't think such a small cut would bleed.. Hurt so much."

You wander off, noting "I'll get the medical stuff"

But before you can enter the office, you can hear Mary shouting out. "Uhm, it's OK, I don't think I need it anymore!"

You return, and check on her, immediately noticing that the wound was gone.

"What?" you mutter, confused.

Kanna bring the kit just in case! That's certainly handy, but I want to make sure there are no bad effects, ok Mary? That was magic and magic seems to fuck with people.

Regeneration or magic healing?

"Kanna bring the kit just in case! That's certainly handy, but I want to make sure there are no bad effects, ok Mary? That was magic and magic seems to fuck with people." you say.

Kanna scurries off and brings the case.

"Here it is!" she says. "But... What do we do with it?"

You look at the place where the wound was supposed to be. It was gone. You rub it, and you touch it. Soft, plush skin. Normal.

"I don't know." you say. "Did you feel anything, Mary? When the cut happened?"

"No, not really." she says. "Aside from pain? Nothing."

"Weird" you say.

Kanna then coughed into her fist, and walked off to look for a napkin, and spat into in.

Kanna you ok? Hey sorry about that, magic seems to mess people up and since none of understand it is rather not take risks. Anyways either of you two want to help me improve the bats with the tool kit?

Making better gear if it's unclear.

"Kanna" you call out. "You K?"

"I... Did feel something." she says. "I felt drained. Tired. Not like you would mind - you're too busy drooling over miss boobs over there."

"Sorry" you reply.

OOC: Good idea, but the situation isn't the most adequate to suggest that in a natural way, right now. However, yes, you can upgrade your equipment. You're quite the handyman after all.
>>
>>39913681
Wasn't drooling was worried about magic since it warps the body. Let me take a look at you Kanna sounds like something is wrong.

"Wasn't drooling was worried about magic since it warps the body. Let me take a look at you Kanna sounds like something is wrong." you say.

"Alright." she agrees. "But!" and she raises a finger.

"Mary, come with me." Kanna says, and they both go together to the girl's changing rooms.

After a while, they return.

"She's totally fine" Mary answers. "I couldn't find anything wrong."

"Odd." you reply. "Very odd."

"Maybe it doesn't have to do with magic whatsoever" you reply. "Maybe it just *isn't* magic somehow. But... That's just too weird, isn't it?"

"Was the wolve's invisibility magic?" Mary adds.

"No, they're just invisible on their own, I guess" you add.

"Maybe its that? Or perhaps, its just something she has, constantly? Or perhaps, we just haven't figured out the 'price' yet." Mary adds. "Its risky, but it could help to recreate the situation. But better that than have her use powers involuntarily again, no?"

>Write In
>>
>>39913862

Recreate the situation.
>>
>>39913862
Your call Kanna. Just be warned magic does weird shit, Mary was much more average in the top department before hers came in and I didn't have purple itchy spots on my hands before I sued mine.
>>
>>39913862
Does anyone know anything weird about themselves that they should really share before we find out the spooky way?
>>
You decide to recreate the situation.

"Kanna, cut Mary again." you suggest.

"Are you sure?" Mary replies.

"Yes."

Kanna nodded, and took the katana again, and made a small cut on the tip of Mary's finger. Like before, it cut - and bled more than it should have. After a while, it healed.

"Ok. Now cut me." you suggested.

Kanna walked up and poked the tip of your finger with the blade. Same result - it bled, and then healed.

"Feel anything, Kanna?" you ask.

"Not much? Am I supposed to?" she replies. "Is... This my power? Healing what harm I cause?"

"I think so." you say.

"Well then I got the worse power ever!" she exclaims, dissapointed. She took the blade and shyly slid it along the length of her arm, making a long, straight cut.

And it healed.

"WELL. USELESS." Kanna said.

At that moment, your Magic knowledge dredges out forbidden, eldritch information, diagonising Kanna, like a flash of inspiration. The puzzle was complete, the pieces together. This was your diagnosis.

>Eldritch Touch: Whatever intentional damage she inflicts, is doubled.
>Eldritch Curse: Whatever damage she inflicts, is healed shortly after, plus a bit extra.
>Eldritch Resistance: She is highly resistance to all kinds of Eldritch corruption, for example, those caused by using magic.

>Write in.
>>
Does she have all of these or just one?
>>
>>39914091
All. Basically she has a spammy, near pointless power.
>>
>>39914109
We got a healer now. She can slice up people and slowly heal them. Quirky, but neat.
>>
>>39914109
Well the resistance is good, the damage is useful provided whatever she hits dies soon after.

>>39914068
I told you magic was weird. I did get a read on it though. Any damage you inflict is doubled, then heals up a little bit later plus extra. Your also very resistant to eldritch effects, like what happened to my hands or the changes you Mary's body. Basically you need to make sure you kill what you hit on the first try. You could however save someone's life be cutting and healing them repeatedly though if I read this right. You'll also never have to worry about turning into something else or going crazy.
>>
>>39914068
Kanna's also going to be the one most grounded in reality I think as a result of her powerset. She should probably be the person to evaluate/check anything we do in case any of us get tainted.
>>
>>39914220

Plus, she's small, and her x2 damage thing can ensure a nice backstab 1 hit KO.

So she's basically our Rouge / Cleric.
>>
>>39914254
Even better that way. She's a Cleric who can hopefully stay out of the worst parts of a fight.
>>

Knowing magic wasn't a nice thing.

"Really now?" Kanna replies, surprised. "Really? Really?"

"Yeah." you say. "I know magic. That's my 'thing'."

"WOO!" she says, and jumps around. "That's why I never knew! I never attacked someone until now!"

"Ah yeah." she continues. "You can trust on me. I'm like, the toughest here. Yeah. Well, maybe not. But I've your back on that stuff! Woo!"

You rub your temples as she cheers. It was a nice, small victory, for now.

We need to get her a high caliber gun stat.
>>
>>39914390

Wops, forgot to trip on my phone. Also, I might have to be away for 30 mins or so at a certain moment.
>>
>>39914390
So Kanna I'm bruised up pretty bad. I'm a wimp so I know I'm going to regret this, but can you heal me?

While she does so keep an eye on our hands see if it affects the eldritch scarring or not.
>>
>>39914437

"How, exactly...?" she asks. "Oh. You mean."

"Oh."

"Yeah, you're going to have to beat the shit out of me." you reply.

"I.. guess so." she says, concerned, and raises a fist and flings a weakass punch into your sternum.

"It needs to be done harder" you reply.

"I can't!" she says. "I don't want to hurt you!"

"You don't get it." you counter. "You *heal* people you hurt. I need you to beat me up. Do it"

"I can't" she says, and covers her face. "I.. can't."

You take the katana and hand it to her.

"Stab me." you nearly command, as you take off your shirt, revealing the bruises.

Carefully, she draws near you, and rests the blade on your shoulder.

"It doesn't need to be quick." you say, trying to calm her. "Just cut".

"This is messed up!" she says, nearly crying, and starts to slide the blade over your body.

You bite your teeth together in pain, as she worked her magic. Slowly, and excruciatingly, she cuts you up, leaving trails of healed bruises.

Half way, you gesture her to stop.

"I need a moment." you say, feeling your torso burn like how a chili spices your mouth. The healing felt like fire in your flesh, and that along the cutting, was torture.

"Ok, continue." you say, after a break. Kanna shook her head.

"It's ok. You're doing ok." you reply.

She nods, and continues.

After nearly an hour, you're done, and you decide to lay down on one of the foam matresses. Exhausted. Feeling like shit. Your wounds where healed, but the pain of regeneration lingers like a sore tooth. But all over your body.

At least its done.

Kanna I am sorry, but if we're not at our best out there, We probably won't make it. Thanks for that, I know it was about a 1000 kinds of messed up. Mary barricades holding up ok?
>>
>>39914715
We probably ought to apologize to her for making her do that to us as well.
>>
Now all we need to do is for Kanna to butcher Mary to remove her Eldritch Scarring.
>>
>>39914854
I don't think our scarring went away with that, so I doubt Mary's will either.
>>
>>39914890

Eldritch scars heal back as Eldritch scars. So those dots on your fingers will regen as dots on your finger.
>>
>>39914924
Which is what I thought. If the healing won't take care of them her hurting Mary like that guy suggested is pointless.
>>
You notice that your hands are still tainted with the Eldtrich scarring after the procedure, much to your dissapointment. Its like if they were now part of your body - the new natural state of it, like a tumor of some kind.

"Kanna I am sorry, but if we're not at our best out there, We probably won't make it." You say. Kanna doesn't look at you, and simply nods. "Thanks for that, I know it was about a thousand kinds of messed up."

You look back at Mary. "Hey, barricades holding up ok?"

She runs up to them, and checks.

"They've been moved, a bit. Like if they had been pushed. But otherwise, yeah. They're Ok. I don't think they'll come in here, at least not soon." she replies, as she pushes the school's podium back into place, and some weights into them.

"Kanna. Mary." you say. "What should we do now? We can't stay here *forever*. We can't last here forever either - what if the water goes out, or we run out of food? What about our families? What about the town?"

Kanna looks away. "I'd prefer to stay here to be honest. We have food, and... We could store water in buckets. Or rain water! We could save rain water. And survive. That works, right?"

Mary shakes her head. "No. We can stay here for now, but we have to think of ways to get out of here. Who knows when one day, out barricades fail, or we run out of food - or it expires? Do you want to continue living here like... This? Just the gym?"

Kanna doesn't answer.

"I'm up for figuring out ways to move somewhere else. Maybe find more survivors. We might need to be prepared, but then again - what really can we do against those beasts?" Mary tells you.

"We *did* kill one yesterday" you point out. "We have a chance."

Mary lights up. "Yeah. We do!"

Kanna wanders away, not wanting to be part of the conversation and gets and opens a box of cookies and starts to eat them, alone.

You walk up to Kanna, who seems to be not of the happiest of moods.

"What's up?" you ask, and sit down on the ground next to her.

She continues to eat cookies.

"You don't seem ok." you insist. This is the second time she seems to call for you attention by being passive-aggresive.

"Why do you always have to listen to Mary?" she says, annoyed. "Is it because she has..." she starts to gesture a large front with her hands. "Those things?!"

Kanna looks at you, straight in the face. "I exist too you know! I've been told that mine are pretty big too!"

"Well?" Kanna adds. "Do you want to leave me here, alone, as you and her go on a date out there? Go ahead, die for all that I care. Just don't come back at me looking for healing. It's messed up anyway."

She's pissed, and girls, are, well, complicated. Apparently, she wants you to say that you're going to stay with her instead of Mary - she wants you to choose her over Mary. Is that a signal of romantic interest? Maybe. You don't know, you never really understood women too well.

Maybe there is a way to compromise or talk your way out of this mess.

"So, are you going to stay here?" she asks.

You want to reply 'no', but you already know that is going to be a wrong answer. Darn. Why are women so difficult?

For now yes. But we will need to move eventually this place is hard to defend properly and we are right next to a monster's den. We're also going to run out of supplies sooner or later. >>39915598

I say we go one step further and hug her and show she is appreciated as an equal and not pat her on the head like a pet or child.

>It's not because she has breasts

When denying something, never mention what you're denying, especially with women, and especially if you're lying about it. It's best to make a firm statement about something else that will simultaneously distract her from the initial issue and persuade her to trust you.
>>

"Kanna." you emphasize.

"What?" she replies.

"I choose what I think is best, Bust size is irrelevant to it. I'm not going to leave you behind. If we die, we die together. But I'm selfish, and I would much rather live together, with you, and any other survivors we find. I'm sorry, do you mind putting up with my selfishness?"

Kanna looks aside. "Okay." she says. "I can. But just for a while!" and she raises a finger, trying to mask something akin to swooning with a facade of seriousness. "I've got my eyes on you!"

"Alright." you say, with a soft chuckle, "I think I'll be safer if I have you guarding me."

And you pat her head.

"You got that right." she replies.

Find some method of contacting other people. For example accessing the school's announcer system, or perhaps somehow making a signal to other people in the city.
Actually, where are we? Urban city?
>>
>>39916394
I'm going to upgrade what weapons we have. Odds we'll need them. Wanna help? cause it's either that or I try to figure out a spell to see those things outside, which I am not looking forward too.
>>
>>39916501
Also, worth mulling over where else on campus we could find important/useful supplies. Like a shop classroom or something like that.
>>
>>39916501
Urban City, yes. Without the smoke and bs, you remember it to look something like pic related.
>>
>>39916501
We're in the gym and the school is biowolf infested. Odds are most of the students are now eaten or biowolves. I don't think we can access the school PA and if we did the monsters would hear us.

>>39916531
Need better weapons and a way to see the monsters before we go to school.
>>
>>39916541
So it's almost guaranteed there's a pocket of survivors out there, but definitely guaranteed there are hordes of Eldritch monsters. Assuming they don't understand human languages/communication cues, I think our best chance is to attempt contact with other people.
>>
>>39916501
Second, Depending on how tall the nearest part of school is we might be able to put a large flag up with something like "Survivor's still alive" Or "Resistance still fighting"
>>
>>39916586
>>39916590
No way to reach the roof of the gym and the school proper is infested.
>>
Also let's try to get a radio or something. There could be an official announcement from the government to any survivors or maybe some survivors making a desperate broadcast. Either way information would be appreciated. We have two weeks, but after that our best bets are to establish contact with another group.
>>
I'll try to have a large infographic of everything ready for the next episode. I've been wanting to make one since the start of this ep.

Now this is pretty interesting. I'll list things, and have you guys vote on what to do, since there are several and very different ideas and because of that I can't write a frame with a mix of them as usual.

> A: Go outside and try to access the school' PA (But its infested with invisible beasts - biowolves)
> B: Meditate, try to access a seeing spell of some kind by accessing the infinite book in your brain - but risk your mind in doing so.
> C: Craft/upgrade weaponary. Write in what and how - you've got tools and a bunch of gym junk around. So far, a inivisible sword made of biowolf bone has been suggested.

No, but not being able to see anything in an area that is essentially confirmed to be infested with dangerous, lethal enemies, is fucking stupid, to be frank.

That's a note for future reference then: I want to see how her powers interact with blunt weapons, like she gave someone a black eye or something like that. Also, if she broke someone's bone, would it heal back into its proper place?
>>
>>39917150
Good idea. Basic body armor can go a long way. We can probably adapt some hard-mats into basic plates, put holes into the sides, and use jump rope to tie things tight.
>>
>>39917194
Random thought: what sort of DIY weapons could we make with rope used for tug-of-war matches?
>>
>>39917194

Qm confirmed precotecrive sports gear, may not have to ad hoc as much armor as needed. Even catchers gear would help. Less ad hoc more careful fitting i think.
>>
>>39917328
Oh alright, that works. But rope is great for lots of things and we should have enough jump ropes for a class of 30. We should keep that in mind if we ever lack utility.
>>
Maybe we can try to make a lightning rod with what we have here because the wolves shoot lightning? Just a suggestion
>>
>>39917350
The wolves don't shoot lightning; they basically have Mary's Organic Matter Manipulation. Meaning, it's some kind of eldritch horse shit that likely doesn't give a shit about how our universe works.
>>
Writing. Wow, so many ideas. Consensus seems to be: Craft weapons. Ok.
>>
You decide to make weapons, to equip yourself up for battle. Kanna already had a kitchen knife - the one she threatened you with before, way back, and Mary had the Principal's Katana. All you had was a suckass baseball bat.

Time to upgrade.

You scavange around in the untidy heap of baseball things, finding a catcher's armor - just one, pretty big one. You didn't need pro class equipment for a (pretty large) school, just a one-size-fits-all and you're set.

You decide to put the torso armor on yourself. Mary... Wouldn't fit, and Kanna is just too short to wear it without it covering her knees. However, you give Kanna the helmet (the only thing that would fit her) and Mary the shin protectors, and she strapped one to her left arm, to use as a improvised shield. She claimed that more stuff on her would just weigh her down. You take the other one, and use it as a shield as well.

After that was settled, you take it off, and start to work on making weapons.

You looked for a bench press - but they werent any. You also thought of making a bone weapon - a wolf-bone weapon. But you didnt have any of those materials at hand.

Worrying about the claw attacks, you take a hard mattress, and by punching in holes in it with a screwdriver from your toolbox, you manage to attach jumpropes to it, to make a sort of tower shield. The intent was to make armor, but, heck, this will do, for Kanna, or you.

You take another bat and decide to make a warhammer as well. Of some kind. You soon discover that you can't fasten weights to it too well, since inercia could make the metal weights fly off when swung, and tieing it with jumpropes wouldn't do much.

After that, you get hungry. Kanna and Mary call you out to have some soup goop from one of the cans you got from the cafeteria, and you sit together to eat, on benches.
>>
Mary immediately scooched next to you. You can feel her plump, girl hips pressing into yours. Then she wrapped a leg around yours, and ate. Kanna looked and sighed.

"What now? We're prepared for *something*" she said.

I'm going to poke around at the magic in my head, see if I can't find a way for us to see those things.
>>
>>39918059
I'd like to include Kanna. She's been feeling really lonely lately. We have each other, but she has no one else.
>>
>>39918059
I almost want to suggest that we pull Kanna over so she can feel included, but that might be a bad idea.
Captcha: 'select all pictures of spaghetti'
Oh boy, maybe we would be better off just asking them about themselves and getting to know them.
>>
>>39918059
Let's try to figure out some magic shit so we can actually see the brain wolves now.
>>
>>39918126

How about we cuddle with Kanna, then work on magic? Else her affection will drop too low.
>>
So, we need to tiebreak.

then
>Delve into your mind, retrieve spell. You already know this is risky, but the prize might be worth it.

Or have her do what Mary did.
>>
>>39918304
>>Cuddle/Interact with Kanna
We can test using flour for seeing the wolfs and looking for foot prints in the dirt.
>>
>>39918304
>Cuddle/Interact with Kanna
Interpersonal relationships will be crucial in this quest. If we fail that, our team will fall apart. Teamwork is more valuable than any weapon or magic.

And we can always meditate later, but Kanna is feeling lonely right now.
>>
After eating, you decide to ask Kanna to come with you to the office, as Mary stays in the gym, training.

"Kanna" you say. "You seem sad. What can I do to help?"

She doesn't answer, but slowly starts to tear, until she's sniffling, and crying. "I...buw... I don't want to die. *Sniff* I'm scared, OK? I'm not strong like Mary. I'm *sniff* just me."

You go and hug her immediately.

"It will be OK, Kanna. I'm here, Mary is here. We're all here, together, alright?" you say.

She nods into your chest, and remains there for a while.

"Can... We stay like this for a bit more?" she asks, after a couple minutes.

"Sure." you reply, letting her hold into you.

--*--

You then ask Kanna to leave the office as you take a preliminary stroll through the upper, superficial layers of your inner eldritch knowledge. Its familiar - the encantation for yout blast is right there. And deeper, if you dive deeper, you might find something else. Hopefully. Maybe. You're aware of the risks, and the consequences of doing this again. Your power will come with a price, and you know it.

Before diving in, you decide to assess and ponder on the risks.

----

Retrieve a spell that will let you see the wolves: 20+ on a 1d100. Additonally, Roll a 4d100, discard the two lowest results, and apply consequences from the table. Consequences stack.

30-69: Go insane for 2d60 minutes
70-71: Summon a biowolf next to you
72-74: You're blind for 8 hours.
75-80: Your current Eldritch Scarring doubles in severity
80-99: All Disadvantages of you and the people you care about (Kanna, Mary), worsen.
99-100: Paralyzed left arm for a few days.

-----

>Dive, try to retrieve spell
>Don't dive.

>>39918701
>Dive, try to retrieve spell
For fairness sake, let's roll after it's decided whether to dive or not. Otherwise the roll results would obviously affect the votes.
>>
>>39918746
Of course. Once I roll, there is no turning back.
>>
>>39918823
Damn, this Eldritch magic shit sounds like such a bad idea but if we win this gamble we'll have a much easier time in the future.
>>
>>39918823
What happens if we roll under?
>>
>>39918701
>>Dive, try to retrieve spell
No other way to handle the wolves, unless we can slowly expand knowledge to make it safer.
>>
>>39918701
>>Don't dive.
see if we can use flour or sugar to coat and spot them.

>>39918701
>>Dive, try to retrieve spell
Today is a good day for insanity!

We get nothing.

We could still go insane.

Closing votes in 5 mins.
>>
>>39918746
>>39918868
>>39918885
Not wanting to try the sugar/flour trick first. Guys this is a bad idea. Hell water would work.

>>39918914
We get no spells and we get the bad stuff is what I'm saying.
>>
>>39918936
This is an anime quest. This is clearly the anime way of doing things.
>>
>>39918957
It's also a lovecraftian quest and this is clearly the lovecraftian way to do things.

Fits the sources, totes.
>>
>>39918977
Precisely. We're in this quest to have fun in the first place, not to play things safe. That's for real life.
>>
>>39918957
>Hurr durr anime quest we can't die!
roll too low
Everyone dies.
>>
>>39919010
No, rolling low is good; high is bad.
>>
>>39919010
>we can't die!
I never said that. I said that this would be more fun this way.
>>
>>39919037
Except the vast majority of those rolls will lead to death.

>>39919031
Rolling low means no spells though.
>>
Rolled 86 (1d100)

First roll: Spell, or no Spell.
>>
>>39919075
>Rolling low means no spells though.
What? We're rolling for consequences only. Remember how Mary accidentally used her magic to save us and she got out with no consequences? It's like that.
And the only thing that would straight up kill us is if we stacked Insanity+Biowolf. Everything else is worth the spell to reliably identify biowolves.
>>
>>39919136
Okay, so we at least get the spell. Let's see what we fuck up.
>>
Rolled 13, 94, 5, 31 = 143 (4d100)

Now for the fun part
>>
>>39919160
Or blind+ biowolf.

Or we go insane and kill the girls.
>>
>>39919231
Insanity and all disadvantages worsen. So who do we kill cheesecake?
>>
>>39919231
>Mary turns into a biowolf
>Eats Kanna
>We're insane and try to kiss her
>She eats us
>Bad end.
>>
>>39919363
While that sounds hilarious, turning into a biowolf is a bit extreme for "disadvantages worsen". I assume it'd be things like magic-numbing.
>>
Rolled 48, 61 = 109 (2d100)

1-10: Bite everything in the vecinity
11-20: Yell as much as you can
21-30: Slam head into wall until unconscious
31-40: Laugh
41-50: Aim to kill everything in sight.
51-60: Rapemode
61-70: Try to swim in the air
71-80: Count things
81-90: Try to escape gym
91-100: Try to get the Biowolves into the gym

Gonna roll two of these...
>>
>>39919416
This is Mythos shit anon. Using magic never ends well for humans, ever. If you're lucky you die, if you're not you get warped into an insane gibbering monstrosity in pain for all eternity.

>>39919441
Oh joy. Well I guess we'll need a new harem. Provided realizing we just killed them both doesn't render us permanently insane.
>>
Rolled 46, 24 = 70 (2d60)

Minutes
>>
>>39919488
Oh man, 70 minutes of insanity? This better be good.
>>
God dam it ... why? WE could of tried other ways to see things first. Even try to improve our resistance with Kanna's help before this.
>>
>>39919499
Pretty much guaranteed we killed both of them and got the biowolves attention now. GG no re.

>>39919519
Cause this is an anime quest! Nothing bad can happen! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Fucking idiots.
>>
>>39919481
Dont worry, nobody is going to die. Its hard to kill when your method of transportation is trying swim through the air like a silly boy man. Injuries will happen though.
>>
>>39919543
Except one eldritch bolt can kill both of them with ease, and we don't have to move to use it.
>>
Hey, you might be right.

Anyway, I'll end it here for now. Will post on Twitter when the next ep is up :D
>>
>>39919665
See you later.
>>
>>39919665
Should probably just end quest, since the biowolves will certainly hear us fighting and attack in force.
>>
>>39919685
>>39919589
Wow we have some real pessimists here. Even when QM says things will be fine, you try to convince him to kill off characters?
>>
>>39919772
Also, thanks for running CheeseCake.
>>
>>39919685
Oh, nice idea. We'll see.
>>
>>39919772
We did something fucking monumentally stupid, the biowolves on invisible nearly killed us and are investigating our defenses, they aren't stupid, and we'll be fighting and killing for 70 minutes. We went lulz fuck the risks and now we're going to die cause this is the cthulhu mythos there are no happy endings, especially if you're an idiot.
>>
>>39919844
What? Why are we fighting? QM said our insanity would be like trying to swim in air.
>>
>>39919872
And going full murder mode, guess what our spells which are powered by insanity don't require movement. They also hit hard enough to kill people pretty easily.
>>
>>39919891
>And going full murder mode
Did he say that? I got the feeling insanity would be like temporary brain damage rather than murder mode.
>>
>>39919918
Look at table here>>39919441

We're going full murder mode and trying to swim through air. It wouldn't be an issue except our spells are ranged and hard hitting.
>>
>>39919891
Please quote me on when I said the Blast can kill people so easily.
>>
>>39919943
The fact it took out a door? The fact getting hit that hard would throw a person into shock if it hit them anywhere on the torso?
>>
>>39919935
I must be blind to have missed that table. Well, good thing we're isolated in the office.
>>
>>39919964
Except you know the girls are going to check in on us. Since it's 70 minutes and not like 15
>>
>>39919960
Exactly. I don't want people to believe that we have a 1HKO on our fingertips.
>>
>>39919989
Might I suggest establishing a damage for the blast/other weapons, and a health range for each character to avoid this sort of argument?
>>
>>39919975
Yeah, but it's better than being in the gym where we start firing upon them immediately. Right now they could easier lock us in the office, and at worst they would take a blasts or two. Nothing Kanna can't fix.
>>
>>39919989
It's not a OHKO on monsters, but they're several order of magnitude tougher then a squishy human. The girls are fucked if they get hit.
>>
>>39920002
Yeah, I'll include that. The protag ref too.
>>
>>39920023
I can't believe someone is actually arguing with the QM to kill teammates. If QM says it's (relatively) fine, just leave it. Why do you want people to die so much? It's mythos-based but it's spliced up with HotD, literally one of the most retarded fanservice-heavy anime out there. Just take it in stride and have fun, dude.
>>
>>39920061
I would except its less HoTD and more mythos stomping our shit in. Assuming their equal parts, when it's been shown not to be the case is kinda dumb.
>>
>>39920079
There's a titty monster and a character taken straight out of a SoL anime. And you expect things to be grimdark? And we JUST fucked the titty monster silly.
>>
>>39920115
And one brainwolf nearly tpked us easily and we get extremely fucking lucky rolls so Mary didn't die in beast mode.
>>
>>39920138
So yeah, we can play this like a Lynn Okamoto manga.
>>
Archived
>>
>>39920174
? Qm straight up said he expected a fuck awfully high mortality rate. Being dumb will only make it worse.
>>
>>39920254
but we must be dumb fucks for the lols. quite being a fun killer, you fag.
>>
>>39920254
Yeah, so like a Lynn Okamoto manga. High levels of romance and slice of life alternating with high levels of death and suffering, typically with spooky alien shit.
>>
>>39920311
Alright missed the reference

>>39920297
I actually like not dying before thread 10 faggot.
>>
>>39920376
we want to fail and we like hard core.
leave if you don't like it casual.

>Disadvantage: Extreme Body
