Recently: You fended off an attack by poachers and Delmer. A ranger came and took them away. You decided to spend the day being lewd with your girls, despite your injuries.

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.

Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever!

Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

You spent the day having a tied-up, lewd time. It’s not exactly rest, but at least you’re staying out of trouble.

The smell of delicious food brings you out of the tent. Looks like everyone’s been busy, cleaning up the camp, preparing food for the small army of Pokemon in the group, and keeping an eye out for any more trouble. You let out your party of Pokemon and let them eat.

Vance takes a seat next to you and hands you a plate. “You’re looking better.”

“Thanks,” you say between bites. You were hungrier than you realized. “Thish ish ghood.”

He laughs. “But I didn’t make it. It’s all Jeanine’s cooking.”

You swallow a bite. “So things are going well with you guys?”

He smiles sheepishly. “Really, really, well.”

You glance at Jeanine. Her hair's a mess, she’s walking with a slight limp, and she’s humming a tune.

“So, are you feeling good enough to make it to Faeden today?”

You’re a little sore and stiff, but you’ll survive. You know you can finally get Robin’s eye in when you reach town and contact all the parties involved. Then again, things got pretty scary here. Some more R&R wouldn’t hurt.

Of course, you could also actually relax like you were supposed to instead of getting kinky with Robin.

>Yeah, let’s go directly there.

You lean over to grab a drink, only to feel a small melody of sharp pains for your various small injuries.

“I think another day should do it,” you tell him.

Vance nods. “Good idea. You can’t push yourself too hard all the time.”

You look up at him, bewilderment in your eyes. “Who are you and what have you done with Vance?”

He throws his hands up in mock defense. “I know, I know. Not my usual style. I’ve been rethinking a lot of how I approach things lately.” He blows on his hot cup of tea. “What can I say? You’re rubbing off on me.”

You look at his ravaged girlfriend. You guess you are.

And that doesn’t make you feel like garbage! You’re an actual positive influence. Kinda.

“So I-”

Erin shoots up suddenly! Ger hands patting herself all over. “Where did it go!” She looks around at the grass frantically. “I just had it!”

“Just had what?” Jeanine gets up top help her look for whatever she’s looking for.

“My grandma’s ring! It was just here!” She keeps looking around until her eyes land on Sneasel. “I just put it in my pocket for a second to eat, and he bumped into me while I was eating!”

Sneasel looks up from his food, eyes wide. He looks around at the sudden attention on him.

“Sneasel! We’ve been over this!” Vance walks over angrily. “You give it back right now!”

He looks ready to bolt. Panic is setting in.

You step into the encroaching circle and put your arms out. “Everyone calm down. Give him some space.”

They back away. Vance is a little reluctant, but he trusts your judgement.

You turn to Sneasel. He looks up at you with a helpless look in his eyes. You almost want to be swayed, but you also know what a crafty thief he can be. He’s gotten better at misdirection.

Erin looks pretty panicked herself, now that you look at her. The others help look around her. She turns her pockets inside out to be absolutely sure.

“Don’t worry,” Jeanine tells her. “It has to be somewhere.”

Erin looks at Sneasel again and points her finger. “I know where it is!” She loses a little confidence when nobody says anything in response. Sneasel takes a step back, as if her finger could shoot something at him. “I’m not trying to be a witch here, but let’s be honest. You all told me what he’s like.” She turns to Vance, “you warned me a few times.”

Sneasel looks down at the grass.

Erin points to Robin. “What do you think?”

“I...” Robin is clearly thinking back. She steps between Sneasel and Sylveon defensively. “I don’t trust him.” Saying that looked like it hurt Robin almost as much as Sneasel.

“Me either,” Jeanine says. She doesn’t meet his eyes. “He’s stepped out of line every time. I'm sorry, but how many chances are we going to give him?”

Clair squints at him. “Ah! Fine!” She looks to the group. “He doesn’t mind me probing his mind. Doing it on Dark types is harder, otherwise I’d already know.” She folds her arms. “I don’t see why he’d object if he was innocent though.”

Erin looks to Vance. He looks conflicted. “Looks, Sneasel, if you have it, and turn it over now, I promise...I promise I won’t do anything rash.”

“You mean give him away?” Tim asks without thinking.

Sneasel backs away even more. He’s on the verge of tears. They look pretty real. You also notice his subtle change in footing. He’s considering making a break for it and can make a good run from how he’s positioned.

Vance glares at Tim. “Thanks!”

Erin ignores it and turns to Kroustou. He waves her off, not wanting to say anything. She turns to Dave. He just looks up from the camera. “Umm, I’m not supposed to talk during scenes.” He awkwardly puts his face back down to operate the camera.

She points to you “What do you think?”

Whatever you believe will dictate how you handle this. If you think he did it, you want to make sure he can’t bolt. If you think he didn’t, you’ll need to convince the others.

Why do they always put these things on you?

You kneel down to Sneasel’s level and look him in the eyes. "He didn't do it. If he had, he'd have just run away with it as soon as he was accused."

Sneasel slowly comes over. Fear and apprehension surround him like a bad stink. Still, he looks touched that you’re sticking up for him. He takes your hand and you pull him up into a hug. “He’s innocent until proven guilty.”

“Kat...” Clair says, trying her best to be gentle about choosing her words. You’d consider it cute if it weren’t being directed at you. “Do you think maybe you’re...projecting? Wishing to see the best in someone who doesn’t have the best track record?”

Well that hurt. A lot. You try not to let it show though. You know she meant that in as nice a way as possible. You ignore that for now and focus on defending Sneasel. “Where would he be holding it? He doesn't have any clothes, it would be in his hands, and I don’t see it.”

“He could have stashed it somewhere,” Jeanine says.

Robin stirs uncomfortably and looks at your feet. “You did tell me that was a good technique when you think you might get caught.”

She’s right. It’s what you would do. “So let’s search around again. Either way, it has to be around here somewhere right?”

Everyone searches around again, including the other Pokemon. After a pretty thorough look around, it still doesn’t show up.

Clair taps her head. “I can solve this if you want. He’s slippery, but I can pin him down and wrestle it out of him.”

Sneasel scurries behind your back. He really doesn’t want her in there.

You look to Vance. He’s not happy about it, but he doesn’t seem to offer any alternatives.

>Hold him still, let her do it

“Look, Sneasel, it can prove your innocence. Clair’s been inside me plenty of times-”

“Not a word!” Vance and Clair yell to everyone in unison

“And it doesn’t hurt. She’s really good.”

He looks up at you, unsure.

“We’ll come back to it. Just think about it, okay?” You turn your attention to everyone else. “Everyone empty your pockets, just to be sure.”

Tim puts the contents of his pockets out for everyone to see. “Do you think one of us took it, or do you think he stashed it on us?”

“I just think we should focus on finding it,” you avoid giving a direct answer. “Okay, it’s not here. I have a plan though. We can use Zappy Dan to flush it out with his magnetism.”

Everyone collects their stuff again. Robin and Clair exchange a look. “Erin, what’s the ring made out of?”

“Silver,” she answers. “With a small gem, why?”

“That’s not magnetic,” Robin mutters.

You’re running out of ideas to settle this and feeling the pressure. You really want to believe Sneasel on this. Maybe you’re projecting a little like Clair said, but so what? What’s so wrong about exhausting your options before violating Sneasel’s mind against his wishes or condemning him for something he might not have done?

“B-but we can try it anyway,” Robin says, seeing the look on your face. “M-Maybe it has non-silver joints.”

It’s a desperate rationalization, but you’re thankful for it.

The camera crew take their equipment as far back as possible. Everyone does their best to secure loose, dangerous metal objects like cutlery. Surprisingly, even the Pokemon are getting in on it. Jeanine’s Bulbasaur is the only one not helping secure stuff. Instead, he helps the camera crew who are farthest back.

Dan floats where Erin was sitting and you give him the go ahead. “Try your best!”

(continued)
>>
>>40186876
He starts revving up.

Small metal objects you neglect slowly move towards him, then fly. A bundle of cutlery flies into him harmlessly, despite being a good distance away. Dave takes a step back with the camera, and Haunter brings the boom mic back in sync with him.

You give Dan the signal to stop and the metal objects on him just drop. Everyone heads over to check it out.

You search through everything, but so far no ring. Pokemon with small hands and appendages. help. Sylveon uses both front paws and her weird ribbon things. Stunky is given wide room, but searches diligently. Bulbasaur is a little behind you, nudging things a bit with his face. Machoke uses all four hands. Even Meloetta floats in to help.

Sneasel stays on top of your head, pointing out piles to look under.

Erin looks dejected. She’s on the verge of tears. “I promised I’d take care of it.”

Bulbasaur's vine reaches under you, probably searching.

You quickly spin around and grab him.

“What are you doing?” Jeanine shouts.

You search over the little plant Pokemon despite his squirming objections. You completely forget he was trained to steal by Team Imperium before you took him off Delmer.

Your hands go over every hiding spot you can think of on his body without turning this into something inappropriate for tv. “Open your mouth,” you tell him.

He obeys. You don’t see it there either.

“Kat!” Vance says. “Kat, come on. He doesn’t have it.”

You place him down and sigh. “Sorry,” You start standing up. “I guess-”

You feel something under your foot. Lift your heel, you look down and see a ring.

You quickly pick it up and show Erin, who runs over and hugs you. “You found it! Thank you!” She puts it on securely. “I’m going to find a better place to keep it.” She promises to nobody in particular.

“We searched that area up and down,” Vance says, a hand on rubbing his chin. “How did we miss it?”

Sneasel, still on your head, points at Bulbasaur and makes a series of jabbing motions and angry gestures. Bulbasaur whips at his hands and yells back. Both Pokemon blaming the other.

Clair sighs. “Oh gee, if only there was a way to solve this.”

Bulbasaur looks like he objects to being read as much as Sneasel. After making that clear, he points the vine back at Sneasel, starting another round of shouting.

>Sneasel did it and planted it there during the search. Read his mind and confirm it
>Bulbasuar did it and planted it there during the search. Read his mind and confirm it.

“Both of you stop!” You put hands between them both. “Clair’s going to search both of your minds and settle this already!” They both look ready to bolt, but you have a firm grasp. “It’s only fair.”

She sighs and moves towards them. She closes her eyes and everyone waits in anticipation.

Clair lifts an arm and points to Bulbasaur. “He did it.”

Bulbasaur covers his head with his vines, expecting physical retaliation. Your anger fails for a second as you remember that he was stolen and raised by Team Imperium.

Jeanine comes forward. “Bulbasaur!” She turns to Erin. “I’m so sorry.”

Erin gives her an awkward shrug, trying to downplay the incident now. “It’s okay. It’s not your fault.”

“But,” Clair interrupts and points to Sneasel. “He stole some of Bulbasaur’s food. Oh. He stole it to give to...Sylveon. He wanted to apologize and figured it’d be fine because Bulbasaur is always taking small bits of food from everyone else when they’re not looking.”

Sneasel slides behind your back again, using you as a shield from the embarrassing stares.

Sneasel and Bulbasaur on stealing
Everyone on Automatically accusing the reforming thief.
We should also accept that our personal opinion was most likely bias due to our past.
Nobody is in the right, everybody is in the wrong.

Except possibly Clair. she did at least wait for the go ahead on mind reading...

You sigh. “Great. We’re done. I’m going to bed.” You stop, “But before I do, I think everyone owes Sneasel an apology. You really hurt his feelings.”

Everyone looks a little uncomfortable, but Robin cheerfully steps forward. “I’m sorry, Sneasel.” She gives him on the cheek. “That was a sweet gesture.”

“But misguided,” you remind him while he rubs his cheek and inspects his hand. “You kicked this whole thing off by stealing in the first place.” You turn to Bulbasaur. “And you, -”

Jeanine stops you. “He’ll be getting a big lecture from me, don’t worry.”

You nod, letting her handle her own Pokemon. You watch as everyone else who accused Sneasel apologizes to him, but you keep on him to stop him from getting a big head about it.

“Great,” you lazily stumble to your tent. “I’ll see everyone tomorrow.”

You crawl into the bed. You’re not that tired, but you figure you should get the rest while you can. You’ve got another gym battle coming up.

You wake up a few times, taking it easy and going back to sleep after only short periods. Robin acts as the occasional pillow, and Clair joins in once reluctantly. Eventually, it’s time to leave again.

Everyone packs up and you start heading out.

You stretch, feeling a lot better. Your bruises are still there, but much less noticeable and they only hurt when poked.

Robin stops you as you secure your belt with Metapod still on it. “That ranger was right. You can get in a lot of trouble for carrying more than 6 Pokemon. People can lose their license if they’re caught doing that.”

You pick up the Metapod with both hands and look at him approvingly. He’s surprisingly tough for such a little guy.

“What do you say? Want to join my team?”

You think he blinks in agreement. He doesn’t do anything that looks like an objection.

“Alright! You’re in! But before I catch you, you’re going to need a name!”

>Toss out ideas. We’ll collect them and vote after a short period.

He's very close to evolving.

“I’ll call you...Fel!”

Robin gives you a gentle bump in the side as you walk. “I get it! Free-electron laser! Because when he evolves into a Butterfree he’ll have Compoundeyes or Tinted Lens.Free-electron lasers have the widest frequency range. That’s really clever!”

“Uhh, yeah.” You nod along. “I’m glad you like it.”

Fel seems to like it too. He scrunches his eyes in what you’re pretty sure is a happy gesture. You take out a Pokeball and lightly tap him.

The ball absorbs him and drops to the ground. After three quick wiggles, it clicks! Then suddenly, the ball vanishes into thin air!

“I’m sure the professor will take care of him until we give him a call,” Vance says.

You’re almost at the outskirts of town when you realize Meloetta is also still not caught.

Can we wait and do the battle in town?

It's a tough call. You've been practicing with the flute, so you figure you might be able to catch her the same way you caught Devon.

Then again, there's nothing like a good old fashioned battle. You can get your Pokemon healed up and challenge her in town.

You gesture to Meloetta, who hasn’t been getting much attention lately. “Ready for our battle?”

She gives you a dramatic fighting pose.

You smile back. “Alright. Let’s hit the Pokemon center first.”

You and your friends make it into the Pokemon center on the edge of town. Faeden certainly lives up to it’s name. There’s glowy specs everywhere from tall, watery trees and vines. They climb up lamp posts and some building walls, but somehow seem light and wafty enough to keep from weighing them down. Under the sparkly, natural covering the buildings have a modern, almost futuristic look to them. Massively tall trees shade and protect the smaller buildings from the real world outside. It’s just unreal enough to have a slightly magical feel to it.

You enter into the Pokemon center.

Holy crap! Your show’s on! And there’s a decent amount of people watching it in the lobby.

You turn your Pokemon over to the nurse. She recognizes you, but doesn’t make any comments. That’s professionalism for you.

You feel a few more eyes on you as your friends hand their Pokemon over as well. Nobody approaches you yet.

Well, with nothing else to do, you sit at the PC and call up Professor Fir.

He greets you with a smile and holds up Fel. “Hello, Kat! Friend of ours?”

You fill him in on the latest news. He nods and follows along. Once he’s up to date, you ask about what’s been going on with him.

“Well,” he sighs. “There’s been a huge increase in Pokemon thefts. Team Imperium is apparently growing a bit bolder and targeting the Pokemon for new trainers, just like what happened to you.” He points the camera to the background. “It seems a popular new show has made Zubat’s very popular with new trainers though.”

“How about Destiny and Trunks?”

He laughs. “Doing great! Trunks has been very helpful in herding some of the Tauros we’ve been getting in for our latest study. Destiny seems to have taken a shine to looking after the very young ones. She doesn’t seem to like the Zubat’s however.

“So, are you making any changes right now?”

You shake your head. “Nah. I have a battle coming up right away. I just wanted to check in.” You stop yourself just before you leave. “But be ready, I might have a special guest soon.”

“Another new Pokemon?” He smiles. “You’re certainly prolific today. You remind me of when I took my journey. I was constantly catching new Pokemon.” He sighs. “But eventually we parted ways. After I lose Porygon I just didn’t have my heart in it anymore.” He must see your face, because he puts on a forced smile. “Oh, sorry. I didn’t meant to dump all that on you. The others visit my lab sometimes. We stay in touch.”

“I’m glad to hear it,” you tell him. You didn’t know all that about him, but at least his old Pokemon aren’t totally gone from his life. “I have to go, but I’ll be calling back soon.”

You let Robin take over the PC call and do any swaps she needs to do.

After everyone is done, you and Meloetta head outside and look for a clearing. You try to ignore the increasing amount of eyes on you and focus on the task at hand.

Meloetta floats to her side of the small clearing, waiting for you.

“Are you ready?”

She nods. She was messing around a lot in the fight against the Slaking, and still came out doing pretty well considering she took hits that were super effective from multiple Pokemon. This won’t be a walk in the park.

You reach for a Pokeball

>Devon (Houndoom), the obvious choice
>Nibbles (Tyrantrum), he needs the experience
>Raistlin (Alakazam), Psychic against Psychic!
>Vlad (Crobat), he has a type disadvantage, but that’s not everything in Pokemon
