By 2020, Blueplate Beach faces a crime epidemic like none other. The police are helpless to combat the chaos, and the city is collapsing into a frenzy of violence and anarchy.
>>
Pollution, bribery and mayhem threaten to destroy the city. In desperation, the police force creates a robotic police officer, better and more capable than any human, and sends him back in time more than thirty years in the hopes of stemming this tide of crime.

But something goes wrong...

Crime Time has its origins as a challenge in the Lego General thread on /toy/. A few months ago, there was a challenge to make a scene and a pitch for a cheesy '80s television show. I made up a buddy cop show where he's a robot cop from a future where emotions are outlawed... and he's a stand-up comic!

After I posted this, people liked it, so I posted a few more "promo" shots, and a very nice poster turned one of them into the VHS recording seen in the OP. Thanks, Gor!

Rob uses computational brain to explain why he has jurisdiction over her. It's not actually true, but the words should be big enough to fool them.

A few more Easter eggs this game... Meg's first appearance was in the second episode of Red's adventures, when she and her bandmate were playing in the bar.

For the anon who asked >>40312531
>Also, what set are those figs from?

Meg's head is (I believe) Nya from the Legends of Chima line. Our MC's head is the CMF Lifeguard Guy, his hair is the CMF Daredevil, and his body is from some recent City sets, I think.

Rowdy Raccoon's friends are obviously the CMF Pig Guy and CMF Unicorn Girl, although their minifig faces have been replaced with solid black pieces.

>I meant the fbi looking hick cops actually.
Oh! Their torsos are the standard police torsos that come in all the recent City sets. Hats are just generic cowboy hats.

Thanks anon! I definitely want to finish this mystery! When I started the episode I had no idea where this was going besides "there's a movie film crew involved" and "there's a nice car". The intro was written on the fly but I knew what I wanted to say in that.

I never know for sure where the story's going to end up, but I usually have fun on the ride!

You ever thought of doing a star wars quest? Or maybe a WW2 one?
>>
>>40314296
>You ever thought of doing a star wars quest? Or maybe a WW2 one?

I don't really have any SW minifigs or sets, so it would basically be Spaceman's setting with lightsabers added on.

I don't know enough about WW2 to be comfortable running a game in that setting. I'd probably mess up enough stuff to annoy people who know what they're talking about.
>>
>>40314696
Maybe just more Spaceman?
>>
>>40314696
Faux-WW2 or faux-WW1 could work. File off the names off the factions and assign them new ones, flubber a bit with the historical facts, etc.
I'm sure you can think up something that encompasses 'two nations go to war, this is the story of the mooks getting caught in it'

I've got big plans for this summer.

That's it for me, hope everybody had fun!

Most of the previous episodes of Lego Quest are archived on suptg along with all images:
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=lego%20quest

The official Lego Quest wiki has all kinds of fun stuff on it, and sooner or later I'll put the characters from this episode up there:

And if you follow me on Twitter, you'll get a tweet whenever a new episode shows up:

I didn't think this would work, but then right before I fell asleep last night I had an idea for something.

Haven't seen it yet, but don't hold your breath. Vehicles are my least-favorite thing to make because I'm so bad at it.
>>
>>40319904
Maybe you could ask for some people's ideas suggestions for vehicles, like make a thread for Most Bitchin'est Wasteland Vehicle in /toy/, and then use some of those.

I've heard stories that the alligators at Kennedy Space Center do this during launches. They'll just leave their mouths open and...listen?
>>
>>40329906
>>40332095
I'd never really do them away, but storing them in the attic somewhere instead of just besides my desk might be a good idea.

It's because the rumbles of the rocket launch is similar to how they woo females. So they could be paying attention to the Great Rumbler, the Sex God of Gators.

The female gators probably think of him as the Great Cloacatease.

>the Great Rumbler, the Sex God of Gators.

I know someone on the science (read: not the launch) side at NASA. I'm passing this along in hopes it will self-perpetuate.
