You are Sol Prementus, also called the Dark Sun by those you lead. It has been five years since your pod crashed on this shattered world named Kilionos. During that time you have freed people from Ork slave pits, uncovered lost technologies, and found relics from ages past. Two years ago you found a Power Sword named Flamebringer, and a special gun called Sunshooter along with an entire cache of S.T.C's. You have done extensive work in both utilising and examining this technology, and have successfully united three of the remaining underground cities.

Not only that but you have advanced their military, creating weapons and tactics that are extremely useful against both the the despicable orks and foul mutants. Under your rule these cities have flourished, no longer plagued by famine nor battered by attacks. You currently are on an highly important mission, one needed to secure the tactical power of the people, one last vital asset needed for the coming purges you plan to enact on both alien and monster. You are currently on your way to secure a vital S.T.C rumored to have the data and information for starship parts. Without this S.T.C the people will be unable to fight back the green hordes efficiently and ensure that they never return to ravage Kilionos. Alongside you is your elite guard, The Shadows of the Sun, who you have personally trained until they reached a suitable level of skill. Though they are not anywhere near your level of intelligence, strength, or skill, they are still a necessary tactical element. It matters not how strong or weak an asset is, as long as the asset is useful.

You have equipped your men with a larger variety of weapons, including a special type of lasgun called a multilaser. The design for it is special amongst its own kind, making it so that it can be carried by one man and provide an substantial amount of firepower. Alongside that your men carry plasma guns, lasguns and autoguns, for diversity is one of the greatest weapons a squad could have.

You are currently in sight of a lost city, silent and dead as it stands in the same place for untold millenia. Your men are busy scouting, with one holding a pair of sighters as he scans for signatures of life, while the rest are only a short distance away. You stand in the middle of the group, looking at the dead are in the distance...

autoguns are inferior to las weaponry in general. they do the same amount of damage in crunch and in fluff they require more supply than lasguns. only usable auto weapon is the autocannon and that is mainly due to the higher rate of fire when compared to the lascannon.

At a speed faster than a mortal man can see let alone consciously think, you turn and fire sunshooter at the shifting area. Sunshooter is no mere gun, it is the perfect mix between solid slug and plasma. A heavy plasma gun able to fire up to 100 blast in rapid succession before needing to cool, it also incorporates the ability encompass solid projectiles in plasma through some method obscure even to you. The plasma encased projectile has far greater power and speed than either plasma or bolt. There is a bright flash of energy as the bolt is discharged and hits the rubble with a devastating burst of energy.

There is a loud scream as the being his is torn to shreds, falling to the ground out of cover in an indistinguishable heap of charred flesh and leaking blood. You hear other similar screams, and in a situation reminiscent of when you recovered your relic weapons a number of mutants emerge from all around. Large scaled beings, with tumor like growths all over and massive hunched over bulks that could be taller than you. Your men open fire, lasguns piercing armored scales while autogun rounds leave deep bleeding holes in the charging mutants. Despite this they keep charging as if the pain doesnt bother them, and you quickly assess the situation and tactics.

They manage to reach the circle, one slashing at a shadow who barely ducks in time before swinging his lasgun around and blowing its head off.

Meanwhile you quickly realize that the enemy is closing in, and that your in danger of losing a shadow at this rate.

You feel every piece of machinery around you, ranging from the mere guns your soldiers wield to the highly advanced relic weapons in your hand. Their internal workings, their power sources, all of it is laid bare before your vast techno-psychic power. You see bullet after bullet launched from Jung's autogun, the way power is taken from the power pack of Disvin's multilaser and focused into a constant stream of powerful beams. With one thought you put your energy into their weapons and boost the power of their guns to unparalleled heights of power.

Suddenly their lasguns either penetrate the enemy or tear them in half with each shot. You feel one psychically charged bullet hit hard flesh and tear through it like cracked glass, ripping apart nerves and causing a mass shutdown of the target's body as the bullets destroy vital cells, tissues, and organs without even touching them. Soon the horde is blown apart as the guns your men wield glow red and each black shot eliminates the enemy. Faced with a storm of such intense power, the enemy is soon reduced to nothing, with even the survivors cutdown before they could turn to flee.
