Interlude: Clarity of Heart

Your entire body feels like it is on fire; every vein overloading with some unexpected spark. It settles heavily into your heart, but fills you with something warm. Familiar.

First that weird resonance shot through the speakers, then this feeling overwhelmed you. With the help of your friends you stagger to your feet and face the crowd.

There is something wrong with them. Something that shouldn’t be here, something that shouldn’t be a part of your music. You can hear it now, there’s an unfinished piece you’ve been working on. Everything was set but the guitar, which you couldn’t nail down.

Clamoring anger and tension skyrocket as ahead as you see the things you couldn’t see. The waves of music and the ambient sound in the air. Something was wrong with your sound, and you understand that now.

Explaining your intentions to your bandmates in but a word, you silence the cry with a shout of your own.

And then you set pick to string.

And within your heart, you understand the music as you never have before. The anger ahead of you is your enemy; it's a sickness you will dispel with your own.

Quest Start

Slinking back and away from the stage wings, you smile as you watch the mood of the room shift. People are enjoying the music again, Kalunite’s magic over this place is temporarily broken and the villain has fled without a punch thrown.

Kalunite, under the guise of a Talent Agent named Kal, has given you a major chance to infiltrate the enemy as the Red Eyed Beast and a trail of breadcrumbs to pursue as the mysterious hero known as Eclipse.

However, while you are both of those people, neither of them are truly you.

You are Mikage Chiba, second year highschool student 15 years old, and you were formerly the third to bear the mantle of the Magical Champion of Love and Justice known as Sailor Moon. The first and second of these Pretty Soldiers were your mother and your older sister. Now you work from the shadows while dealing with your own personal issues in support of the fourth, your little sister.

Koyomi, you baby sister, is not alone as the Guardian of Love and Justice. The children of your mother’s group of magical girls have followed in their own mother’s footsteps and are protecting Juuban ward and all of Tokyo from devastating and dangerous monsters.

In their efforts, you will support them from afar. Maybe one day you can stand beside them in the open, but that time has yet to come. You are not ready yet.

Yet.

Wearing the disguise of a backstage roadie, you have saved a metal concert from being harvested for their negative emotions for fell purposes. Having managed to get a sample of the corruption the enemy intended to spread you are relatively sure the day has been saved. So, what’s left to accomplish tonight as a stealthy crossdressing heroine?

The Unrepentant Damned continue to kill on stage as their frontman tears off both sleeves of his straight jacket. From here you can smell the sticky sweetness of the fake blood packets exploded by the act as the red stuff runs down his arms to the elbow and leaving his forearms clear as he resumes playing.

>Leave, your work here is done

Your initial instinct, now that the day is won, is to lose the now sweaty metallica t-shirt and go join the party. Even with the compression band and bandage binding across your chest you can probably still pass as long as you keep the leather vest on.

However, you won’t do that now as there is more pressing business ahead.

Something seemed strange to you about the opening band, and it wasn’t just the front man creepily hitting on you backstage. Something about their lyrics and music seemed strange and familiar. Eerily familiar, so you are going to investigate.

Not bothering with the costume anymore, you active your ability to appear as no one of importance; an unremembered face that no one can describe or identify, and let the disguise end prematurely.

Backstage pass openly displayed, you weave through the tight but well lit corridors behind the public area of the venue. Passing by the still open door to the dressing room, someone cleaning up the broken glass from when you punched a mirror, you turn the corner you earlier saw the rest of the Unrepentant Damned turn down and find a door labeled green room. Beyond the door is the raucous laughter of young men and women.

Their song about a utopia of glass and the return of death reverberates in your memory. Something feels odd about that.

Heh. You laugh to yourself and imagine that if you were still the beast you’d just try to break the door and make terrible demands of those on the other side.

>Listen at the door, because that totally something no one walking around back here would question
>Knock and see if they’ll let a wide eyed and nondescript girl enter. You interaction with Byakuya Hoseki suggest he might.
>Knock and sneak in invisibly when (if) someone answers the door because you don’t really want to deal with people right now

You crouch near the thick steel door to minimize contact and brace your arms to the frame. Leaning close, you lay your ear against the door that you may listen in on what’s going on inside.

Since the door is metal, you have high hopes you’ll be able to hear clearly through the other side, but alas all you can pull on is the muffled sound of conversation drowned by the thickness of the door and whoever is laughing on the other side over the words shared between people.

What kind of people, you wonder. What kind of people who would sing about an immortal kingdom of glass being shattered. It sticks out in your mind of the stories of Usa’s home reality, the averted future of your own world.

Crystal Tokyo.

This will not stand, you need to get to the bottom of this. You’ve been relying on the excess energy of your starseed a lot lately, and you’ll do so again now. Otherwise, what’s the point of letting it again awaken after you forced that power into dormancy.

Taking a calming breath you let the energy pulse through you and sharpen your senses. Closing your eyes to steady the focus.

Focus.

Nothing. You still can’t hear over that bitchy laughter!

This is becoming frustrating.

-Princess,- Zoisite calls from the back of your mind, -Would you like one of us to take a look for you?-

You feel the presence of Zoisite and Kunzite settle in the front of your mind. True, you could send one or both of the Shintennou spirits you harobor to look into things...or you could be more direct.

>Send in one or both of the Shintennou, who?

~Go ahead, Zoisite, but be exercise caution,~ you whisper, ~Just in case these guys can hear you,~

-As you wish, Princess,- you feel her bow and watch as a piece of your shadow slides out under the door.

Righting yourself and leaning against the wall opposite the door, you sigh and scowl. The rush of victory has waned and you are left to ponder on the missteps that have been made tonight.

Missteps, mistakes, and your misgivings. You sigh and think about what is going to be had out between you and the beast later. It isn’t really something you can put off, and you can’t really tend to the matter here.

You are brought out of your thoughts by another door in the hallway opening. Stepping into the hallway is one of the members of Malefic Black you saw on stage earlier. Not the one in white or the one without a shirt. His darker stage armor is mostly removed, except for a few pieces, and he carries the cape in his arms. His face carries a soft look, with piercing eyes, and he has short dark hair.

“Lost?” he asks simply as he comes to a stop by the door and takes the handle.

My research to brush up on the appearance of the Black Moon Clan has reminded me of something rather terrifying to worry about.
Death Phantom was originally a human from Earth. If a guy like that would go out of his way to bring death and crime to a world that had none and get banished.. What the hell might he get up to in our timeline?
>>
>>40376283

WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT GETTING OUT OF MY NOTEBOOK, NOW I MIGHT HAVE TO SCRAP EMQ R or go back to the drawing board
>>
>>40376261
Any specific questions? If I can't recall something I keep the wikis on speed dial.
Most stuff we're dealing with is new, or borrowed in new ways from alternate continuity, so in-depth isn't too needed.
I think there have been hints that our timeline's version of the people that had ended up in the Black Moon Clan in Usa's timeline are around, and I think these guys might be them, but it is still really unusual if they are drawing inspiration from lives they've never lead.
Short version on Black Moon, people that rebelled against Crystal Tokyo's shiney utopia thing and were banished to a terrible place that made things worse.
>>
>>40376321
You're just rying to throw me off the trail, my current shadowrun is that he's Chau. Take a guy that would bring death to where there is none, and instead a world full of crime and death? Time for brutal removal of crime and death!

~Nah, just waiting for somethi- hey,~ you have a sharp idea, ~You’re in Malefic black, right, can I ask you about that one song?~

He pauses and relaxes his grip on the door handle.

“Hmph,” he hums, “Guessing you aren’t already a fan then?”

~Sorry, first time hearing you guys tonight,~ you shrug with a smile, ~What tipped me off?~

“That you didn’t know the name of the song,” he sighs, “We played a few tonight, do you think you could narrow it down?”

~Oh sorry, the one about the glass utopia,~ you explain sheepishly.

“Oh, Vengeful Phantom of Death?” he says, “First from our set tonight, what did you want to know about it?”

~Eh, just the inspiration,~ you say, ~The narrative was really evocative and interesting, maybe there’s something to the story?”

The name is almost a confirmation, you know the enemies your mother and big sister faced in the past. An entity known as Death Phantom was one of them, manipulating members of the Black Moon Clan into staging a massive coup of Usa’s Crystal Tokyo when she was still a child. These events forced her to seek help in the distant past.

“Would you believe dreams?” he smiles softly, “My brother and I have almost always had these strange stories in our minds when we went to sleep. They were always so, sad,”

~You dreamed them?~ you ask after his explanation, ~With your brother?~

“Yeah, he’s the one in the white outfit. We’ve spent years trying to put them all in order,” he shakes his head, “Once we finish that we’ll be trying to publish our first album,”

A shadow slides out from under the door and collects at you feet unnoticed by the man in blue.

~Huh, cool. Thanks for clearing that up,~ could this man be an enemy?

The Black Moon Clan was wiped out amid Death Phantom’s ambitions, unless…

“No problem,” he says and turns back to the door, “And if you liked it enough to become a fan, my name is Aoi. Aoi Hoseki,”
>>
Is it strange to actually turn your head toward the sky and squint suspiciously this timeline might have a Nemesis out there?
Though it may have shown up or created sometime in the intervening 10,000 years, so we might be fine.
Might.
>>
>>40376665

As he opens the door you see his brother, Byakuya, brooding over in a corner while the man with the red hair laughs boisterously surrounded by three women in outrageous and gaudy dress. A fourth girl in slightly more conservative dress stands alone, but perks up the blue clad boy’s entrance.

You don’t pay too close attention as you walk away, only catching a fleeting glimpse of the white haired boy taking a surprised wide eyed notice of you.

Clear of their number, you consult Zoisite.

~What did you find?~ you ask quietly.

-I am familiar with their faces, Princess,- Zoisite says carefully as you feel his presence bow, -Though a touch older. Your father shared with us Mercury Computer records of his adventures with the Senshi between our deaths and his finding our remnants anew. The performers of Malefic Black and the women associating with them at this hour are without a doubt this timeline’s versions of the Black Moon Clan. Or at least, most of them,-

~I noticed such a connection from their music and speaking with Aoi,~ you sigh with some relief.

They are not beholden to the destinies or fates of their others, and you’ve been to the Ayakashi Sisters’ Salon. You’ll leave them be for now, but you will keep eyes on them. If any of them become shadow hosts it could be dangerous. Luckily they won’t remember your face if you need to investigate them further.

Still, that strange look you got from Byakuya Hoseki gives you pause. As does the way he hit on Red Eyes. Probably nothing.

A muffled cheer sounds through the hallway. The show must be done, at least until you hear a bass line answer the screams for more. Sounds like they’re giving the house an encore.

Both have had a celestial aspect crystallize in their Starseed (given the usage of the term, think of a starseed as the kind-physical representation of the soul), which can grant them great power (in Art's system, it can grant access to Mythic tiers). In the Senshi's case, they mainly use transformation items to tap into the bulk of that power and power up.
We chose to use ours in the fashion of our father once we awakened to our own power and sign, which doesn't get as much of a boost in power as transformation might give, but has always-on access to that power.
>>
Well, while everyone is distracted with things on stage, you see yourself out of the venue the same way you came in. Given how much more leverage against the interior surface area you have, it's relatively easy to shimmy your way out the door too the roof. Getting in would have been very tricky and difficult for you, enough that your still sore chest would have suffocated you trying.

Taking to the rooftops in the night, you resolve to store the concentrated orb of darkness in the jewelry box in your bedroom before you do anything else tonight. You really want to go talk to Aiha, you said as much in your message to the girl. You consider her Red Eye’s friend, and your own friend. A while ago you did lie to her face about being Red Eyes and she wasn’t quite as upset with you over it as you were expecting.

Its a quick trip home, and you enter quietly and rush to your room without making a sound. It has gotten late, after ten o’clock late. Emptying the old jewelry box, which your mother told you she put a spell on for you for safety’s sake when you were small, you gently set the malleable orb of darkness into the center of the box. Ignoring the gnawing supernatural hunger within you, you shut the lid tight and lock the box.

That done, you empty your purse of unnecessary things and stow your manga purchases on your shelf in the proper places where they belong. Well, in the case of one of them amid the shameful stack under your bed.

Even if it isn’t one of your more risque books, it goes under there.

For now.
>>
>>40377686

Actually, you take the book about a young woman discovering her attraction to other women and take it off the place you set it on the shelf and stow it in a fresh hidden stack all its own beneath your bed.

For the time being you also store the jewelry box down there as well, hiding it behind your few explicit materials.

As you step out of your room, taking a slower pace than you did entering the house, you notice muffled noises and soft music emanating from Usa-neechan’s room.

That car was still in the driveway.

Well, you do not want to deal with whatever lies on the other side of that door, but it does inspire an idea within you. You dash back into your room and put together a quick overnight bag. You are sure she’ll be willing to listen to you and let you stay over this late, because this is becoming a crowded sleepover.

Aiha, you, and the Red Eyed Beast. It’ll be fun.

You shoot the young Sailor Mercury a text message asking if you can come over to talk on the subject you mentioned to her earlier.

It doesn’t take long for her to reply and say that you can come over.

It doesn’t take long to reach the Mizuno home, and when you arrive the young girl with blue hair is waiting.

“So,” she ventures nervously and looks over your uncharacteristic outift, “What did you want to talk about, Mikage, is everything okay?”

~No,~ you sigh and slump your shoulders as you kick off your shoes and at the front door, ~It isn’t,~

Seeing as we are in discussion time, here are my thoughts on the next Mythic Tier’s ability choices.

Nimble Glide: We can’t count on Keiko being there next time.

Sleepless: We could get a lot more done without sleeping

Or, instead of sleepless, use Path Dabbling and take Sustained by Faith from the Hierophant tree.

Sorry if this is just dropping in out of nowhere; I’ve had this in my head for a while and thought I’d see what everyone else thought.
>>
>>40386719
Next time we end up in a fall, have some spell options that could soften it, and Slide & Walk if we need to.

Been thinking about Sustained by Faith for that too, like the wording on that more since it is only that we don't require not that we can't. Aren't immune either, but the other benefits are nice.

Been pondering a second round of Divine Source as well. While limited uses, it is very potent, and Art seems to have fun with it too.
>>
>>40386719
Sleepless would be a rather ironic twist considering our dream-forays. But I could see it, I really could.

Mikage gained such an aversion to dreaming she simply stopped sleeping through sheer force of will. Definately no negative consequences from that.

Huh, it even makes a kind of sense. How can you be Batman if you have to sleep during the day?
>>
>>40387385
...but that would extend in game days in terms of available time...and I would have to contend with a breakless ever waking narrative
>>
>>40387073
I guess they both say don't require, but still, an option not to need air can be life saving.

Besides Path ability, there is a Mythic Feat coming up too.

>>40387385
I think we can come to enjoy sleep now.

>>40387444

Maybe, I've been eyeing Star Walker though.
>>
Sanctum and Star Walker are both quite useful in the long term. I will put this forward as the QM.
>>
>>40387842
If I can spell my fucking trip right.
>>
>>40387842
Where’s Star Walker?
>>
>>40387888
It shows up in one of the Pathfinder Companion Books, Mythic Origins. It contains additional Mythic Options. I have the physical copy, but it doesn't show up in the core reference document. It has found its way onto this one though. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/mythic/mythic-heroes/mythic-paths---paizo-inc/archmage
>>
>>40387921
Dang, we really could use that.
>>
>>40388014
Could we?

I mean, I can see how it would be useful long term, but now?
>>
>>40389025
Sanctum is more useful right now. Portable apartment is never not amazing especially for quick getaways.
>>
Not going to have time to post an Omake after all. Sorry guys.
>>
>>40389095
Poor for getaways since the door is fixed, but makes a very nice bolthole.
Considering the issue that there are events going on off-world, the ability to travel without teleporting is game changing for getting around. Even if we get another means to do so, a personal version is nice.

But this choice is still a couple tiers away.

>>40389946
Maybe another day then?
>>
>>40386719
>>40387385
I think we should still sleep guys

at the very least to not scare what remaining family we have more than they already are.
>>
>>40391952
but if we become sleepless we can become eerie and creepy and have shadows under our eyes and spend time late at night doing things like Saori or drifting around the house.
>>
>>40392093
> doing things like Saori

That alone should make us sleep twelve hours a day.
>>
>>40392296
but we could stack and organize all the illicit books. Play dating sims. Forget the passage of time beneath blackout curtains.
>>
>>40392296
>>40392093
No no no, we use the extra time to work out more. Think about it, eight more hours a day means we can cram extra leg days into the week.
>>
>>40392093

Let's not do that.

I like the idea of sleepless. Lots go full on creepy vampire.
>>
>>40393250
Sleepless just seems like to much work. I really don't want to give Artemis more work if I can help it.
>>
>>40393550
>>40393250
Sleepless has the problem of
A) Spending more time up and about, which means more times we may have to use Planet Power without recharge (remember they charge per hour, and we are trying to throw our recharge time out the window)
B) Lessens when we might have backup or reinforcements, because anyone who could possibly help us will be dreaming
C) Will weird our family out REALLY BADLY

Besides the extra eight hours of activity, I don't see the benefit. We can't even SoL during those eight hours because everyone to enjoy life with will be asleep.
>>
Looking at the Archmage list again, Enduring Armor would be really good.

Armor bonus of Mikage’s tier (6 for Most Effects) + 3 is very good for combat.
>>

See
I second this

This is what we should be going for.

We should strive to be Mr. President.

If not because having a sleepover party in our spirit realm would be REALLY COOL, then because we would have a place to get all our fragments together and talk about it with an outside observer.

Seconding Sactum REALLY HARD
>>
>>40394239
Also, I think we may end up using space flight really soon if anything unexpected happens on the Senshi's missions

it most certainly will
>>
>>40394454
What would be interesting is if in the inner sanctum all the personalities manifested physically. ie Mikage walks in, and then Dan, Red Eyes and etc. pop into existence
>>
>>40394593
I like to picture that they're hanging out in there all of the time when not being used.

So when someone, anyone comes in, there's five or six people trying to pass the time.
>>
>>40393628
Yeah, eight hours isn't much benefit, particularly considering we are getting to the point that we can dispel fatigue magically.

>>40393747
Think we've got better than that already.
>>
>>40394678
And Dan is hitting on all the girls
>>
>>40387444
Speaking as the person who initially wrote:

> We could get a lot more done without sleeping

I will say that if Artemis doesn’t want to write “Mikage never sleeps”, then I’m against it.
>>
>>40394722
Red Eyes trying to cave his face in with her boot.
>>
>>40394593
Well by that point, hopefully, she will be all together.
>>
So we have two path picks before we have 6th tier to worry about.
Divine Source a second time would give some intereting options with another domain and a pair of subdomains.
Mythic Wonderous item might give more ability to deal with certain items. Other craft ones have promise too, though going from scratch raises questions of money. But alteration could be interesting.
Or going for more utility ones and those with interesting longterm effects, like Sustainance and Longevity.
>>
>>40398847
I'm not sure our heart is ready for the possibility of being able to bring one person back from the dead each day.
That is some Crystal Tokyo level mojo. Fair chance that is part of how Neo-Serenity has a city without death.

A quiet intellectual girl with a love of poetry and jazz.
I can't help but picture her dress like this, and I don't mean the pink-haired one.

..Followed by interesting thoughts. Mikage did love learning and intended to attend Mugen Gakuen, and was deeply hurt when someone was cold to her.
There was a point where I thought expressing our anger at her and being a bit Beastly would help heal us, but what if there is a part of us that admired and liked Hotaru that got shut out so hard it went with our love of learning and art to hang out at coffee shops without the rest of our baggage to bring her down?

>>40405067
The Enemy is smart though, they won't be in the open until they feel they can win an open conflict. It's already far more open than many past villains, with the attacks and kidnappings being acknowledged by the government and PIT being involved. And we know out of character that is a field the Enemy is prepared to play on as well.
So, when these Shadows start operating in the open, that's when they feel they can face off with the armies that would stand against them, through one means or another.

Unleashing the Mad Shadow Scientist in such a public venue shows that they have little fear of major operations in the public view already They've certainly got high confidence in their ability.
Probably one more way Team Eclipse is keeping them under control is that, as an unknown in their neat and orderly plans (I imagine, they feel like someone is doing a lot of high-level planning), they can't properly account for how open they can be, leading to more caution.
They thought they had quite the setup at the Tower, and then some random bogeyman woman from the nearby area drives a motorcycle through core of their plans.
>>

All your forms keep your eye color.

Daphne's hair is an autumn red.
>>
>>40405430
This was I

Also, I again sigh that my notes have become so transparent. >>40405248
>>
>>40405488
Hey, there's a difference between transparent and making perfect sense. If you are setting up how things work and it makes enough sense for us to see it too, you're on a great track.
We still have to see what it might take for Mikage to reconcile things, and now we have two things that should involve Hotaru, forcing us to interact with her more. Lovin' the narrative.

If only I could come across as well to my own players.
>>
>>40405635
in a way its good that Miki was the first to go.

The beast can't come home unless she's loved. And before Miki came back to her, Mikage couldn't really let herself be loved.
>>
>>40405488
What, we already knew Daph was her learning and art side. I feel silly that I didn't make that guess sooner, took thinking about fashion to trigger it.

Makes me feel even more foolish for thinking going Red Eyes on here was a good idea. Well, yelling kinda worked out for easing our feelings, just not quite how I expected.

>>40405635
Yes, definitely a difference between seeing something as a player and getting the charater there.

>>40405732
Good point, and if we can bring our Anger under control, we might have a shot getting at dealing with other issues.
>>
>>40405899
>>40405732
How do we deal with Mimi?

How do we deal with Daphne, aside from speaking with Hotaru?
>>
>>40406891
>mimi
I can't imagine
>>
>>40406891
Mimi's got a longing for romance, an enjoyment of BL, and no talent for people. I'm not entirely sure. Could be her repressed romantic sense, which as a teenager with no idea what she is doing compounded some denial of love before that. She has been enjoying romance stories that she wouldn't have to worry so much about seeing herself in.

As for Daphne.. no idea, actually. It like one of those maze pictures you trace your path through. We've got a "You are here" and a possible "Exit here", but we'll still have to navigate the interior.
Between the Crystal and the shadow stuff, we have reasons to interact with Hotaru, and some shared sadness over Usa leaving. Maybe we'll see what shakes out.
I just wonder if it will be courage of opening up about our issues that brings in Daphne, or cowardice in facing Hotaru with our own face.
>>
>>40407638
interesting read on the how.
>>
>>40407638
>>40407602
So, the solution to Mimi is letting someone else love her or us in a romantic sense?

Or rather, we need to engineer Mikage into a convoluted romance triangle plot. Wait, she already kind of is...a steamier one? Actually, how many triangles are going on now?

Whatever they are, they just need to become more blatant.
>>
>>40408586
It might be that we are on the right path with that.
Or simply that Mikage needs to open herself up to the idea of love.
>>
>>40405248
Does this mean positive interactions with Tomoe-Sensei?

So, if Hotaru no longer a shit, who is a shit?
>>
>>40409671
The bad guys.
>>
>>40408586
>So, the solution to Mimi is letting someone else love her or us in a romantic sense?
Nope: the trick with Mimi is getting her to set foot out of her comfort zone.
>>

Indeed.

>>40410042
Good point. That is an issue with her. We'll have to figure out how this relates to Mikage.

>>
>>40439774
Perhaps lay most of it out?
I mean, she should hear why we broke, though apparently some of that was covered at the briefing.
Since a big part of us coming back from that was her calling out to the Beast for help, I think we'll end up having to admit Eclipse, though she already suspects and we just put it off last time. At least Rin has been respecting the secret so far
>>
>>40441365
Then we complain of our sexual identity problems on top of it and she discover the basic idea of "wait, girls can love girls? But, girls can't love girls"
>>
>>40442088
Eh, judging the the clarity of the magical high, Mikage seems to have developed a decent idea of her identity, just not what she wants to do with it.

I'm still waiting for her to develop more awareness and realize how into her a certain classmate was back when she was still rejecting love but before she completely broke. If she thought she was embarrassed with Kairi, we're gonna forge whole new ground in flushed embarrassment when that happens.
>>
>>40442353
Wait, you mean Midori being infatuated with Miki and looking at her as someone who could save her from the worry of her best friend dying or do you mean Yoshi Sakurada?

Because I thought that was a known crush from middle school.
>>
>>40442531
I mean Yoshi.
I'm willing to bet that Mikage never knew/acknowledged it at the time, while it was obvious to everyone else that he was pining for her.

Princess No was not without regret.

>>

why do you think Mikage was so snappy to hear he only got a card signed for her because he was making the rounds of Keiko's recovery as well.
>>
>>40448239
That scene and the train are worth looking over again when you realize what's probably being internalized with new context.
>>
>>40448239
See, that wasn't the case though, that's how SHE chose to turn it back around on him.
He was basically strong-arming the class into signing hers because he wanted her's signed. That seemed clear at the time, Mikage just twisted it around and threw it back at him.
>>
>>40448525

I forget, did Artemis write that on his own based on how we interacted with him on the train or did we choose to snub him over the card?
>>
>>40448805
I think we were trying to get him and Sasha in and out quickly so we could ask what happened, and Mikage continued the trend of treating him as just a class rep that didn't care.
Reflexive behavior, I suppose.
