With the Warsphere ascending it started to open and separate into two halves linked by a central core that housed the engines and the main control room from which the several thrusters that surrounded the ship were controlled.

Once it reached a high enough altitude a room automatically unlocked and invited you to enter with several blinking lights. Having nowhere else to go but backwards you headed into the unknown and crossed the door. It lead to a big dark room that had only a simple metal and sleek looking stool in the center of it that was illuminated by a dim light that came from the ceiling. On that stool there was a strange metallic eyepiece that was connected to the chair with a thick and heavy looking cable.

It was strange, kind of inviting really. You sat on the stool and placed the eyepiece on your head, it didn’t quite fitted since it was designed for a pilot with a Kroot beak and you lacked a nose, but still you could wear it to some degree. At first there was nothing happened but then your weight activated a pressure plaque and after the seat descended lightly you started to see a black and white output from some cameras that were outside, soon after you discovered a small mechanical wheel that changed the cameras so you could see what was happening both inside and outside. Shortly after the grinding sound of gears and electrical sparks surrounded you, removing the eyepiece revealed that you were now surrounded by a spherical cage of buttons that glowed red.
>>
>>40557677
There was no escape but at the same time it seemed that even if it looked like a cage it truly didn’t served as one, those buttons were only fastened by a series of wires, pistons and a barebones structure. If you wanted you could easily destroy your way out…if it wasn’t a prison, then what was its purpose?

Out of curiosity you pressed the button that was just in front of you and it turned green, then the sound of turbines, fuel pumping and the usual trembling of engines activation slightly filled the room you were at. Placing the visor once again and exchanging the cameras revealed that you had activated the engine that was in front of you. That sphere of buttons represented the Warsphere and each one activated the engine it was positioned at. Pressing the button again made it go back to red and stop that particular thruster.

Such a crude system would require having to press and press buttons nonstop but at least it gave the pilot a simple way to maneuver and control each of the jets with ease and barely any training required.
Karelia was outside, trying to convince the other team to join her cause; Juliannus stood inside, protecting both you and deflecting any possible boarders that might try to somehow get on the ship and you were piloting that massive behemoth of a ship, slow as a glacier during winter but still the best asset you had at your command.

(Since Heracor is now going to pilot I offer you guys the special chance to control Karelia or Juliannus because they might experience way more combat action than him)

>Control Karelia

Down on the surface the Inquisitress was using her straining telekinetic and telepathic powers to both fly and quickly sweep scan the surface below in the search of human thoughts. The act of doing both at the same time pretty much placed her under a great stress that affected both her body and mind.

On her back the xenos spaceship started to ascend and open as it broke the mountain walls it was buried in.

She had a clear mission, to try to convince the rest of the human teams to join her cause and instead of focusing fire on the ship trying to save that precious ammo to kill Kroot from the mantle. On more than one occasion she had seen a rocket directly flying towards the hull of the ship, probably some rich hunter carried with it some explosive weaponry in case he or she found "A big one" and wanted to have a great kill to swank off, and of course, right now there wasn't anything bigger than the massive Wasphere.
>>
>>40557995

The few times she had seen one of those rockets Karelia had to stop and push herself even more to create a telekinetic bullet and use it to destroy the fast moving projectile in mid air.

From her position she could see a couple of groups, one of them seemed to be formed by Imperial Guardsmen while the other was the remmants of Heracor's Skitarii cohort.

Probably the Imperials were already trying to find a way to destroy the ship and trying to set a vox communication with the Cruiser to order a orbital bombardment. The Skitarii might try to discover what the ship is first but at the end after they reach the logical conclusion that it is xenos technology they would surely use their strange and baroque weapons to deal great damage on the hulls.

>Head towards the Imperials, they might not have the weapons to truly damage the ship but they can order for greater firepower, if convinced you might stop the orbital fire for now.
>Head towards the Skitarii, they already know you and thus you might be able to convince them to not use their destructive archaeotech on the ship but still they lack the military codes and even if you manage to contact with the ship in orbit you might not be able to establish a direct communication.
>Ascend as high as you can into the different layers of the atmosphere and try to telepathically communicate with the Captain of the ship to explain the actual situation. If successful they Cruiser might contact with the rest of the teams planetwide.

Well, other than the fact that we're the Inquisitor and anyone who disagrees with us is a heretic ready for blamming.

Mentioning that their leader is the one piloting it would probably make them think twice about shooting it down too.
>>
>>40558090
I wasn't sure how advanced it looked. When I think of a warpsphere, I think of something advanced like the light power armor we got.

>Head towards the Skitarii, they already know you and thus you might be able to convince them to not use their destructive archaeotech on the ship but still they lack the military codes and even if you manage to contact with the ship in orbit you might not be able to establish a direct communication.

Like a wingless angel you fly in the direction of the red robbed priests and land in front of them, raising a cloud of dust during your landing. At first they all aim their strange weapons in your direction but after you remove your shemagh and reveal your masked face they all freeze kind of shocked and raise their tools of destruction.

Most among those Skitarii warriors had cybernetic eyes, not because of necessity or simply for surpassing human limits but for fear. They knew what they would see if they looked at the reflection that your mask showed and the best solution they could find to face it was the ocular substitution. Unlike organic eyes artificial vision isn't completely affected by the strange powers of the warpmask and instead returns a strange and shuddering distorted static that shows vague forms.

Even if those warriors of the Cult Mechanicus were part of another faction they were still under your command and leadership, for them your word was law.

"Skitarius Æterna. Do not raise fire under that flying sphere for it is an objective that has to be protected until I say so."

Somewhat angry they all completely kept their weapons in their carcasses and sheaths, still some continued looking at it using the telescopic sight or strange looking binoculars. No matter how much you convinced them, if they discovered that it was built by the same Kroot they had been fighting then they would surely dismiss your orders and try to destroy what it is obscene to their eyes.
>>
>>40558373

Even if you tried to forcefully "convince" them with your powers they were still way too many minds to meddle with and their possible mental augmentations obstructed part of your capability.

"Close observance of the objective it is forbidden by death. Just follow its path and destroy any Kroot that tries to attack it!"

All the warriors got firm and yelled with their voices a loud "YES MISS!". The cacophony of mixed organic and cyber voices made your head pulse in pain, your brain was starting to develop a migraine from all the overuse of powers.

>From Dark Heresy (WH40k RPG About being an Inquisitorial Acolyte, the closest thing to what we are playing.)

Insanity Points (IP) and Corruption Points (CP) are Characteristics that characters gain during play. Both of these scores begin at 0 when a player starts and increase over time as damage is done to a character’s state of mind (IP) and the purity of his soul (CP). The higher these scores, the more twisted, damaged and debilitated a character becomes, and should either of these scores ever reach 100, a character is hopelessly driven mad or tainted and his career and life come to a sudden and abrupt end, exactly as if he had been killed.
>>

As soon as you try to once again elevate from the soil your mind breaks for an instant as if it were a badly installed electrical system. From your eyes strange psychic sparks form and ascend into the ground in an spiraling form that somewhat resembled a DNA chain.

Once in the skies those strange sickly blue colored sparks infected the yellowish clouds and turned them jet black in an instant. Those sparks soon jumped from cloud to cloud creating more frightening black nimbus's before completely extinguishing, but not before a wide area became under the dark veil of those ill omened skies

An invisible explosion suddenly shattered reality for a femtosecond, still time enough to knock back most of the people present, only the people with the heaviest armors were able to barely stand still. After that and before most people became able to recover a crimson rainfall started to pour over us all, with it came the particular but well known smell of blood and its metallic taste. Since most people were still lying on the floor more couldn't avoid having some of this strange blood on their mouth or eyes, giving them maddening itching and discomfort or giving them the permanent aftertaste of blood on their palates that wouldn't go away even if they exchanged their mouths for mechanical counterparts.
>>
>>40559062
Once everybody managed to stand up the storm reached its peak and with it came howling winds that spoke of secrets, dark desires and fears that even those cold and logic warriors found terribly disturbing, more than one even started to cry, an action that they thought they had forgotten how to do decades ago.

You were barely alive and even more weakly conscious, your mind was liberated from the pain but now it was your body the one that hurt like hell, the fall after your mindbreak was pretty ugly and now there was a ugly bleeding wound on the back of your head.

(The storm will last four turns during that time we cannot do anything warp related because that will be an Insta-Peril. Every message will count as a turn, this one counts as the first turn.)

>Get on one of their Chimeras and await until the storm is over. This will let you and the most wounded ones to rest and recover but you will lose invaluable time, and if the Cruiser detects the spike of warp energy then not even you might be able to stop them.
>Get on one of their Chimeras and order them to drive outside of the influence of the storm. Not everybody will be able to enter inside and thus some will be left behind, and possibly become mad without the company of their comrades.
>Get the most skilled telecommunicator Skitarius and make them work into creating some kind of antenna that would let you communicate by non telepathic means with the others. This will make everybody but the two workers be outside, not you nor the wounded will be able to rest and recover.

"Get the...get the wounded on the Chimeras and aid them!"

That's the last order you are able to give before collapsing on your feet, the last thing you can feel is the blood rain covering and staining your white power armor and soaking your facemask.

You weakly woke up an indeterminate number of minutes later, your mask was off and so was most of your armor, on your naked body there was a series of pumps and needles that filled you with reinvigorates and other kind of healing subtract that apparently they were able to create from the plants around.

Moving was incredibly hard, both because you were still weak but also because of how complex the array of tubes that filled you with medicine were. Even in incredibly intrusive those Skitarii had managed to do a great job with you, and hopefully with the rest too.

"Miss! You are awake!" Said a faceless Skitarius, he, she or better said...it, wasn't faceless because of how weak your eyes were, all what once was its face was now covered by mechanic parts that made him look like a bizarre mix of lenses, metal blocks and tubes.

"H-how many time has passed?"

"You have been unconscious for an hour, seven minutes and fifty three seconds exactly. Most of the others affected have already recovered their consciences as well."

"Status...Status Report."

A female Skitarius with her lower half of her head covered in electoos of complex circuitry designs answered that question.
>>
>>40559668

"An unknown micro storm of Empyrean nature formed around us and destabilized the true and correct laws of nature as result. We were knocked by simply...nothing, and then blood rained over us, analysis offer no clear conclusion of the nature of this blood but it is of apparent human nature...If you permit I request to simply censor and skip what came after the rain."

"Permit denied..." You answered, feeling stronger as seconds passed.

The girl squirmed and after hesitating for some seconds proceeded. "There was a wind that had voices, it talked about strange things, some Chimeras were able to record the sound but after playing the records nothing but a regular wind howling can be heard, still everybody experienced the same effect and heard among other things fear, secrets and traumatic events of their respective pasts..."

"Ugh..." You squealed in pain. "What's the current situation?"

"Our team has divided in two, one with the strongest and most healthy warriors is following the strange ship as you requested, the other, the team you are in now, is heading to the coast to clean the wounded in the saltwater to avoid possible infections and or taint."
>>
>>40559687
"Can we contact with other teams?"

"Nigh Impossible, the blood has rusted part of the antennas and stained some of the circuitry, we can keep short wave contact with our other halve of the team but we don't know the wavelengths nor codes of the other ones. Once we have cleaned and purified this Chimera we might try to do it."

"It won't take long, we are about three hours from the coastline, the cleaning might take two hours at least, the purification another one, and the repairing from five to hours to two days."

Yeah, no worries, I just thought I'd submit it to show that I care
>>
Fuck yeah all caught up now!
>>
>>40559708

You stand up and remove all of those plugs and intravenous needles from your body, time isn't in your favor.

As you proceed to stand up you see some of the Skitarii trying to stop you but at the same time too scared of acting against you. Once you are completely standing they submissively bring you the rest of your armor pieces, mask and clothing like the good fetch dogs that they are.

Without even ordering them to stop the vehicle you simply open the top hatch and leave flying away. Your armor and clothing are still bloodstained, the crimson vitae had now coagulated and turned into a dark crusty and sticky surface that covered most of you.

If you had managed to fly while it was still in liquid form the great speeds you can achieve would have sent it all flying away and cleaned you as if you had been blasted with a stream of pressurized air.
>>
>>40560401

As you ascend the people on the ground start to become as small as ants, its not like on the surface they are much more than insects anyway. First everything that surrounds you is the dark orange sky of the breaking dawn but as you reach the upper levels of the atmosphere and your armor starts to become covered in frost the sky starts to become darker, you are right now just in the fringe that separates the sky with the outer void.

Still, the ship that is in orbit is little more than a small silhouette, you cannot ascend more without suffering from severe frostburn or asphyxia.

As you start to use your telepathic powers your body tilts heavily on its axis, using a single power is way harder than the non-psykers believe and the act of using two is a feat that few non librarians could achieve.

For what to most eyes is invisible for you is as opaque as a shadow. Your thoughts start to fly like a dark ball into the skies for what seems like a painful eternity until they enter the cruiser. On your back you can hear and feel the noise of several cannons firing at the same time, the Warsphere has entered in combat.
>>
>>40560423

Your telepathic message starts floating and crossing the walls like an intangible ghost until you find and enter into the Captain's mind.

"INQUISITRESS KARELIA HERMANN OF THE ORDOS HERETICUS TELEPATHICALLY CONTACTING THE CAPTAIN OF THIS CRUISER"

It was a pretty standard greeting but there was no time for proper introductions, in close distance mental conversations were easy to do since the thought capture and exchange was pretty much instantaneous. In this occasion the distance was so high that you had to maintain focused to keep your extracorporeal mind close to the captain to be able to catch what it was thinking and send it back to your mind for properly read it. An Astropath with its ability to do the same that you were doing but at extraplanetary distances would have been a much greater choice for this, but once again, there wasn't any other option.

Each thought exchange took about five minutes to reach and be received. Even such a powerful psyker as you couldn't be floating in such high attitude at such low temperatures while maintaining a long distance telepathic conversation. You had to be quick or else you might fall down and plummet to your death...or something way worse.
>>
>>40560448

Finally, the answer of the Captain came.

"Hermann? Like the Governess? I don't know who you are and I am pretty sure that the Governess didn't had a Sister! Our sensors and scanners are going like crazy and you should know that right know I could accuses you of various crimes against the Imperium! Impersonating an Inquisitor! Creating a fake persona of high status! And obstructing an Imperial Operation!"

Of course, that stupid man didn't knew how hard and straining this was for you. Unless you managed to convince him your powers would only last for a few more minutes.

"DO YOU TRULY BELIEVE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE BUT A MEMBER OF ONE OF THE MOST HOLIEST ORDOS OF THE INQUISITION COULD BE ABLE TO ENTER INSIDE YOUR THICK SKULL AND TALK FROM OUTSIDE OF YOUR PLANET?"

Your telepathic thoughts were filled with rage and flew inside the cruiser crossing its durable walls as if they were paper until they exploded inside the captains mind, screaming inside of his head and giving him a headache.

"I AM THE WIDOW OF GOVERNESS NALASHA'S DEAD BROTHER AND I SWEAR THAT IF YOU DON'T LISTEN AND OBEY WHAT I AM GOING TO SAY YOU AND YOUR FUTURE DESCENDING GENERATIONS WILL SUFFER SO MUCH THAT THEY WILL WISH TO BE DEAD!"

Silence, the Captain just screamed it to stop but those psychic messages could not be muted no matter how much you tried to cover your ears.

"WHAT IT IS DEVELOPING RIGHT NOW ON HEPTIUM IS OF THE MOST PRIVATE AND SECRET NATURE, UNLESS I SAY SO YOU ARE NOT TO OPEN FIRE ON THE PLANET OR THE STRANGE SHIP. Crying and a faint yes. The stupid captain had learned to blindly obey the Inquisition the bad way, but in the slim chance that he meets the Inquisitorial forces again he will undoubtedly do as he is told.

You simply left your body fall down and spin uncontrollably for a few seconds, there wasn't any danger on the skies anymore now that all the Sweeping Claws were on the ship. You kind of envied them, they could freely fly while you couldn't, the act of elevating yourself into the skies with your powers made you feel terribly bad afterwards. These few seconds in which you descended made you feel free, feel like a bird.

As soon as you crossed the cloud barrier and the ground became visible you started to slowly decelerate, if you did it fast your body would become damage from the sudden change of velocities and it would be as bad if not worse than hitting the ground.

Back on the surface you looked around and saw...nothing. You didn't knew exactly where you landed but there wasn't any trace of Kroot nor humans around.

>You had just used your powers, rest for a while now that you know that the danger of the Cruiser bombarding the ship is no more.
>Fly once again and try to mentally scan the minds of the people you cross in the search of hints about the Warsphere's current location.

Yeah I guess. Psychic powers in a burst to gain height after kicking off, then let physics take over as we continue the leap, meet ground again (and thank our powerarmour for preserving our knees) and then repeat.

Sustained controlled bursts shouldn't wear us down as much but should keep us relatively agile.

>Fly once again and try to mentally scan the minds of the people you cross in the search of hints about the Warsphere's current location.

Your mind is kind of stressed but still your muscles are recovered and so are the systems of your armor. Maybe you could opt for a mix of muscle and mind to advance that wouldn't completely restrain either.

You start to run and with each next step you apply a little bit of telekinetic power to impulse you even further, in less than a minute you are completely striding like a gazelle of old Terra. Your strong legs are the muscles that impulse you, your engine, while your psychic powers increase your gliding time. It is then when you make the first jump.

By strongly stomping the floor and then applying part of your powers you ascend into the air. It doesn't feels as light as when you completely suspend yourself but it is still quick enough to let you leap into small hills and clear any ravine or mound with ease.

As you stride you jump over dozens of deceased Kroot from all races and also a few human persons, it seems that the Kroot from the mantle are going into full war and that they are actively hunting humans to capture the Chimeras and equip their primitive yet strong weapons on their pints.

You didn't knew how many Chimeras could there be around but surely not a lot of them returned each year, if the Mantle had managed to capture and repurpose them then they could not only have an army of psyker shamans but also troop transport and weapon support on their cause, what at first looked like an easy victory now looked more balanced.
>>
>>40561507

Soon the particular form of the Warsphere makes its appearance in the distance. Running as fast as you can you ascend into a small mesa, continuing with your striding ascension you go higher and higher until there is no ground anymore. Confidently you jump the gorge and give yourself one last impulse to push you into the walls of the ship.

Luckily for you the Sphere is too low to throw you away from the speed and you were high enough to be able to jump into the upper area and avoid falling down. Now you only had to find a way to enter...

>Try to contact with Heracor via radio.

Your communicator is both covered in tainted blood and still some frost from your ascendance, on top of that there are some cracks from the damage you have taken so far and dust has entered into its small mechanisms. The alien antennas and electromagnetic generators dampen the device but still, somehow, you manage to contact with him with near perfect quality, if it weren't because you thought it was nothing but a sham you would truly say that this was a miracle of the Omnissiah.

"Skitarius, do you hear me?"

"Yes yes. Greetings Inquisitress, it is nice to hear your voice again."

Usually when talking face to face the rejection that both naturally felt with each other made the exchange of words kind of awkward and even tense. If they hadn't yet turned into violence was because they were civil and educated and also because of sheer necessity. In this occasion thought, since it was an indirect chat, it was even...pleasant.

"I am on the outer hull of the ship, can you open an entrance for me?"

Heracor at that time continued being surrounded by the strange driving mechanism that was composed by a cage of illuminating buttons, besides the engines there wasn't much that he had control of.

"I am so sorry but I cannot, my complete and absolute focus is on the piloting of this ship right now. Please forgive me for using Heretech."

"I prosecute and hunt other type of deviancy techpriest. Even if morally dubious, specially for a member of the Mechanicus like you, right now you are providing a highly valuable service to the Imperium."

"That is reassuring...thanks."
>>
>>40562300
Even if you didn't had much contact with him lately it seemed that the apathetic and cold techpriest had started to warm up, to develop emotions. While some may see that as a weakness you knew that emotions could also be a sharp blade to use against enemies. Hopefully you could control him to stay close enough to his peers and stay professional while also being emotional and represent all that a human truly has to represent on the battlefield.

"What have you done so far?" You asked while letting your shemagh fly away with the wind and removing your mask to breathe pure air.

"We have found small pockets of resistance and had minor skirmishes, Kroot from the Rockborn somehow managed to launch Mantlers using their brute force against the surface of the ship, then they used looted Imperial grenades to breach the surface and raid the interior. After enough holes were done the bigger and brutal ones were able to join too. Luckily for us the Astartes has been able to repel all the enemies so far and keep me safe."

If what you heard of his chapter, the Heralds of Vengeance, was true, he had a good reason to fight those xenos back. Once this is all over you should talk with Inquisitor Drhoznak about it.
>>
>>40562325

"Inquisitress, maybe you could find a breached entrance to enter from, be careful, there could be explosives that are deactivated but can still explode around from failed attempts, in case you also try to enter from an already breached hole the risk of finding enemy Kroots is also high."

>Try to find one of those explosives that didn't went off and explode it from a safe distance, then enter from the recently opened hole. This will damage the ship further but will give you a safe entrance to enter from.
>Try to find an already opened hole, you might find resistance on the other side and will need to fight your way in but if victorious you will kill several enemy forces and slightly tilt the battle in your favor.

>Try to find a real entrance or vent to both be sneaky and not damage the Warsphere.

Honestly, with so many jet engines around the need to repair them with assiduity was pretty common. There is a locked hatch that can be found next to each one of the fire spitting holes.

At first, unknowing how truly powerful those engines were, mostly due to your ignorance to mechanical related lore, you tried to open and access one of the locked entrances that was situated next to a jet thruster that was currently active and spitting red and blue fire. As you went closer the heat obviously started to ascend, during the first steps you thought you would be able to hold it but at the end not even with your power armor you became able to get completely close to it. You would have to find an exhaust that wasn't burning at that moment.

Luckily for you since you were on the top of the ship there were jets that weren't turned on not far away, after all what Heracor was doing was keeping the ship stable and high and moving it forward.

Using your telekinetic striding you ascended towards the cold and dead thrust er easily enough and then managed to open the locked door that went below. It was good that you didn't managed to get into the hatch of one of the activated engines because those doors lead directly to the mechanisms of the engines themselves and automatically locked after being used. If you had managed to enter inside you would have found yourself trapped in a tight space next to an active and massive jet turbine that would have shredded and burned you into small charred bits in mere seconds.
>>
>>40562888

Descending below took you into a barely illuminated catwalk that seemed to communicate with many other areas. Due to battle damage or maybe the pass of time some of those catwalks were destroyed or so fragile that your own weight made them completely collapse, in more than one occasion a badly calculated jump or a sudden structural disintegration made you fall down, if it weren't for your quick reflexes and your telekinetic powers you would have died over a dozen times when crossing those narrow and high paths.

At the end you became kind of frustrated after crossing those corridors and ending nowhere but the ground, as a small yet pleasant vengeance you descended slowly and violently bent down those weak catwalks into little more than twisted paths that were completely impossible to walk. Happy with your result you ended descending and once again placed your mask on your face.

Once again you were on unknown territory, at least it wasn't those mountains and plains anymore, you were starting to get bored of the same landscape over and over.

The communicator shows that the signal intensity its really weak. Covered by walls and with no signal repeater around that worked with Imperial technology the chances of it improving were pretty weak. Without Heracor the chance of increasing that intensity was null. Still, you had to try anyway.

"Inquisitress Karelia to Astartes Juliannus...do you copy?"

There were a few seconds of silence, you were about to turn it off when the answer from the other side came.

"Tactical Marine Juliannus Domusalba at your complete and absolute service Miss!"

The signal was far from perfect but honestly it was way clearer and better than you had imagined. It surely was because of how good both communicators were as the Inquisitorial and Astartes gear was devised by the best technomiths and crafts after all.

"I require to meet you, is your location a good and clear zone to establish a rendezvous points or is there any other space that it is better suited to do so?"

From the other side the deafening noise of the crude ripper gun he was armed with and the sound of exploding heads and pipes came. He was in the middle of a combat and still permitted himself to pretty much casually talk at the same time.

"I am sorry Miss but right now I am in the middle of an Skirhmish. If you give me permission I will proceed to purge those vile xenos in the sacred names of the God Emperor and my Primarch Guilliman to clear the area and accommodate the planned meeting."
>>
>>40563537
So far your treat with Space Marines had been pretty limited, even to you his attitude and acts were pretty surprising. He talked of killing all the enemies on his own before you came as if it were something that could be done easily. Surely for a demigod immortal warrior this was the case. To have a power trip you decided to push him even more, he surely would also enjoy the extra difficulty.

"I give you a minute and a half starting now. Good luck Marine."

"Marines we don't need luck Miss, only a bolter and a objective to aim for."

After that the conversation was silent for little less than 80 seconds, in which he talked first.

"Objective done miss. I am sorry that I had so many little time left, the last of the vile xenos had an attack of cowardice and tried to run away into the vents, I had to rip it off to be able to take him out."

By the Emperor...so far your relationship with him had been pretty cold. It wasn't until now that you had seen him in liberty and able to fight that you have been able to truly comprehend how strong he is.
>>
>>40563558

"I don't truly know your actual position miss so I will just give you my coordinates, I am sorry I cannot be of more assistance."

"X-25,4 and Y 89,0"

There was a small cogitator you carried with you. Nothing too fancy, mostly used in mathematical operations to know how much the exchange in the different planets was and other simple things. Introducing the coordinates took it a little bit to process but at the end it was able to give you a clear direction.

Once next to him you were able to see what truly looked like a massacre, Kroot from the four tribes laid dead next to him. Juliannus didn't only hunted Kroot from the Mantle or Rockborn but also allies like the Sweeping Claws. For him all those were disgusting xenos that only deserved a bolter round to the head.

"So." You say at him, face to face. "How was your particular hunt?"

"I can understand that for regular humans this competition might be hard, but honestly, with all what I have killed now I could give trophies to all the survivors around. If this were aimed at Space Marines it would be taken as a joke by most members, even by the initiates."

If he were anybody else you would have believed that it was acting all cocky but he was the exception. For him this was surely something incredibly easy.

"They came from all the doors at once, they might have human weapons but lack tactics. By the first then minutes of the initial wave I run out of ammunition. I tried taking one of their looted lasguns but it didn't properly fit my dimensions and I ended breaking the handle by accident. Then I remembered how some Ogryns used the Ripper gun as a club and honestly it isn't half bad."

"And I bet you still want to kill more don't you?"

"This alliance we have formed is weak and temporal. I am doing the rest of the Guardsman a favor by killing the Sweeping Claws now."

He was kind of right, surely the flying pests would ascend into the skies and once again try to feast on the unwary humans once they "won" their tribal dispute.

"Once this is over I will present you Inquisitor Drhoznak he is from the Ordos-"

"I know." He interrupted. "Thank you."

>Ask him where more enemies are, its purgin' time.

"Our job isn't done, why don't we go after more enemies? Heracor has told me that there are several breaches."

"Our job is never done..." He answered as he kicked down a reinforced door and walked across the corridor.

His frame was so wide that his shoulders touched with the metal walls and scrapped them lightly, creating a small rain of sparks that fell on his back and made him appear to wear a gleaming cape of light. This also caused a great noise around, but he was a walking tank, he didn't cared about being stealthy.

If they somehow knew that it was xenotech they would be incredibly pissed, there is also the fact that he now wears some pimping power armor that has software the borders AI, ignoring the fact that the armor is inhabited by the voice of ARMA I think they would also be angry to know that instead of letting them study it he simply keep it for himself.

So yeah, if the Skitari knew that he rode an alien ship while also wearing stolen power armor ( that has near AI ) they would be super duper uber pissed, and surely a small civil war would ignite between his followers and the ones that think that he went too far.
>>
>>40564222
He's wearing the armor for better protection, pretty sure we'll study the fuck out of it (with help) after mission is done, provided it and we survive. As for the xenotech? I imagine he'd crash it as soon as it's purpose is no longer necessary. The omnisaiah gave him the knowledge to fly it, and the knowledge to end it. After all the ship is inferior and can and will be used and discarded at the Omnisaiah's whim.
>>
>>40564275
>pretty sure we'll study the fuck out of it (with help) after mission is done.
This is pretty much a necessity. We have to modify it so we can use most of our bionics after all. I might include a small secondary quest that will include the chance to recreate that armor for the troops. Maybe for the honor guard or something like that.

>I imagine he'd crash it as soon as it's purpose is no longer necessary.
Hell I might even just ask for a dice roll to see how well he crashes it. If you guys manage to get a 100 you will carve a new asshole to the surface of the planet.
