You look about Saules' room for clues, seeing if you can find anything to link him with Abby, feeling for false bottoms in drawers, tossing his clothes aside. If you're lucky, you might even find that damn knife in here.

You freeze for a moment when you hear the door knob rattling behind you, acting on instinct, you launch yourself over Saule's bed, cramming yourself into his closet the best you can. A snotty rich kid's voice fills the room, as a set of footsteps enter.

"-ah Raul, I'll be down in a minute. Yeah, I know man, just give me some time, alright? Hmm? yeah man. Hey, we should hit up the college tonight, I'm sick of being off campus. We crack a few beers, meet a few more girls.... show em a good time, yeah?" You can hear him moving about, peering through a crack in the wardrobe door.

You hear him cluck his tongue in annoyance, "Urgh, shirt's on the other side of the room... No, you're lazy! Fuck you Raul..... Hang on."

Your eye widens in surprise, as a snow white, extremely musclular humanoid, with jet black hair materialises in your vision, picking up a shirt, arms lined in powdered blue veins, handing it to the boy you can't see. "Thanks 『 Mindfields 』 ."

It hands Saule his shirt, and stays floating in the room, silent, eyes staring blankly. You try to examine it closely, but your head begins to suddenly feel very heavy, eyelids drooping.

You try to shake yourself awake silently, but every muscle feels like it weighs a ton, your vision blurs around the edges of your eyes, darkening, pulling you into a soft embrace.

You bite your own tongue, hard, digging your nails into your palm, forcing yourself to stay awake. You manage to keep your eyes open, as the stand slowly fades out, Saule quickly stripping his shirt off and pulling his new one on.

He quickly picks his phone back up, chatting to his friend on the other end, "So. You get the beer, I'll pull some girls together, we take 'em down that spot near the lake?" He laughs for a few moments, "Yeah man, whatever you say. Peace out."

He hangs up as he exits the room, your head suddenly feeling a lot clearer. You give it a minute to make sure he doesn't come back, before easing yourself out of his closet.

Other than the picture of Saule and his family, you haven't turned anything up yet.

You slip out into the hallway, the sounds of a kid playing videogames extremely loudly dully coming through the wall opposite Saule's room. With that clearly occupied, you head down the hall towards the last door.

At a glance, this is the parent's room, queen sized bed, reading glasses on the bed side table.

You snoop through the drawers, hoping to find something useful, you recoil slightly when the top drawer on the right hand side reveals a .44 magnum, fully loaded, along with a bunch of squarely packed cases of bullets. The words 'Street Cleaner' are engraved in the handle. Well, that has unpleasant implications.

You check behind a painting on the wall, a cheerfully smiling woman, clutching a child to her chest, smiling brilliantly, the same one from Saule's photo, and the painting of the lighthouse in the study downstairs. You'd probably appreciate it more for the artists skill, if she wasn't wearing a swastika armband. Behind the painting, you find a safe.

You try to open it from the inside with 『Kiss From a Rose』, but it's no luck, if you want it open, you'll have to bash it open, or hopefully find a password scribbled down somewhere.

You quickly retrieve the gun from Heinrichs' drawer, shutting it once you stow it in your pocket. Can't leave this lying around if someone does see you.

You trudge back down the hallway again, footsteps muffled by the noise still blaring from the other room, you take the steps slowly, wincing when one squeaks loudly, but reach the bottom unobstructed.

You're about to turn off the staircase, the door to the basement set below the stairs of this one, when you get roughly shoved, a red hand over your mouth.

Your pushed up against a wall, Angie's stand pressing you backwards, before fading away. You spot the blonde girl crammed between a bookcase and a corner, hiding in a shadow, finger pressed to her lips, shushing you, before jerking her head towards the wall next to her, mouthing the words; 'Mom inside!'

Shit, the second doorway on your right, the kitchen Angie indicated, has a clear view of the entrance to the basement, the first on your right leads into a den, you spot Rai attempting to hide underneath a couch. The den itself also seems to open onto the kitchen, as you peer around the wall, the mother is keeping her back to you, facing ninety degrees from the entrance to the basement...

You shake your head to Angie, before dragging Rai out of the den. The three of you barely manage to make it to the back door, before you hear the mother call out to her child upstairs, declaring lunch ready.

You quickly boost both of them over the fence to the front yard, leaping into the neighbours, just to be safe, you crouch walk a fair way down the street, putting your hood back up to avoid attention.

It's in the relative safety of an empty park that the three of you sit down to discuss your findings. Angie didn't manage to turn anything up, but Rai found a note on the fridge in scrawly handwriting, 'Be out late tonight, party at the university.'

"It was signed 'S.' too." Rai explains, "Saule's heading there now, I think."

You nod, showing them the picture of his family. "We can bring this to Abby, ask if he looks familiar, or that picture we have of Raul." You mutter.

"Anything else we need to know?" Angie prompts, leaning on her hand as she plucks said picture of Raul from her beanie.

You pause for a moment. "Well, he has a stand, I'm not exactly sure what it does, but it made me really incredibly drowsy. I barely managed to keep myself awake, just from looking at it."

"Just from looking at it?" Angie takes a moment to think, "Weird.... well we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Anything else?"

You double check that no one's around, before flashing the steel of the revolver at them, "I took this, from the father's drawer."

Both of them react strongly to that, in different ways; Angie glances about anxiously clearly worrying, Rai's mouth falling open in amazement.

"Woah! Cool! Is that... is that the Street Cleaner?" He asks. You nod, showing him the inscription. "Lot of people in the neighbourhood are scared of that name. No evidence to prove it was him, but a lot of rumours about how many people have been killed with this."

Angie slams her fist on the table, "And THAT'S why WE shouldn't have it!" She hisses, "Rule number one. Don't steal from psychos! And please, put it away!" She reaches out and grabs the gun, hiding it inside her own jacket.

"I think we should destroy it." Rai proposes, "If we take thing apart, post pictures of it all over the place.... it'd hurt the Neos. They intimidate everyone into doing what they say. If people see they're not invincible, it'll give everyone hope."

"Yeah, and if they can trace it back to us?" Angie demands, "Then they'll be on your ass more than usual. Didn't you say they beat you up not three days ago?" She asks, pointing to all of his bruises."

Rai hisses in pain, and Angie takes a moment to gather her thoughts, taking a deep breath. "Let's just dump it in their yard or something, okay? We still have to get to Abby, on top of all this."

"I agree, we should destroy it." You nod. You've seen first hand how these Neo's treat people, hell, you still have your hood up, so no one notices your face.

Angie scowls, "This is stupid guys, we shouldn't. Really!"

Rai ignores her, reaching into her jacket and yanking it from her grip. Angie desperately struggles to get it back, before Rai shoves it into your hands.

Before Angie tries anything, you summon 『Kiss From a Rose』, having her savagely rip the gun apart, screws and welds bending and buckling under her strength.

The situation resolved, Angie just slumps back in a huff, crossing her arms. "Don't say I didn't warn you guys." Is all she mutters.

Rai quickly takes a picture of it with his phone, wipes all the parts clean with his shirt, then tosses all of them in a trash can. "Alright, come on, we have to see Abby." You tell them, pushing to your feet.

The walk to SCU is quiet, but for the rushing of traffic, but music starts to boom louder and louder as you approach Abby's dorm.

They're having some big frat party next building over, college students spilling out onto the lawn, red cups filled, students pawing at each other drunkenly.

The inside of Abby's dorm building is mercifully quiet at least. You head up to her door, knocking, only to receive no response. You try a second time, then a third. Still nothing...

You use your stand to open the lock from the inside, and sure enough, Abby is nowhere to be seen.

"That bitch said she had classwork to catch up on." Angie growls, stepping over to the desk. "Wait a minute, lookit this."

She holds an essay aloft, pointing to the latest paragraph, the last word literally trailing off in a scribble.

"You reckon she's at that party?" Rai asks.

"Must be." Angie figures, "She did say she was brainwashed at a party, right?"

God damn it. The three of you quickly make your way downstairs, heading into the cluster of students, drinking themselves into a stupor.

"Should we cover more ground?" Angie prompts. "We'll find her faster that way."

Rai on the other hand, seems to be doing his best to stick close to you, all the students towering over him, he watches a couple dry humping to some house music with horrified disdain, hands over his ears to block out the on

You barely shout over the music for all three of you to stay together. Angie just shrugs and follows along behind you, eyes roaming, bobbing her chin to the rhythm, perfectly in sync.

You shoulder your way past a keg stand, a few of the guys glancing at you, some disgust, a few with interest behind their drunken glaze, still no Abby. You push through the crowd, the song changes to something more pleasant, a nice thrumming bass line, less techno screeching.... you could probably get into this.

You can't find Abby by the beer pong either, nor the pool table. This song's not bad, you start grooving along to it, tapping your foot when standing still, shaking your hips slightly, it feels like it's filling your very core, like this song gets you.

A solo cup is pressed into your hands, some guy's asking you to dance... it's hard to refuse such an offer, he did ask very politely.

You raise the cup to your lips, vaguely aware of a high pitched voice behind you, poking at your lower back annoyingly. You just want to enjoy the music....

You feel the beat flow through you, nestling in your soul. You let all your other senses fade away, that annoying bashing on your back. You knock the beer back, it tastes delicious, like nectar of the gods....

You toss the cup aside, raising your arms high, you let the rhythm consume you, becoming one with it,swaying your hips back and forth, instinct guiding you, feeling at one with the crowd, all moving in one huge cycle.

__________

Xiao's gone too, ignoring even your outright punches to the middle of her back.

Angie disappeared minutes ago, this isn't good. Some older girls are pointing and laughing in your direction. You see the word 'cute' and 'adorable' get mouthed a few times.

The urge is strong, you want to ball your fists up and rush them, but you keep control, remembering what mom always said about getting angry when you can help it.

Stay calm Rai, angry only makes problems.

You glance around, trying to slow your breathing. There must be some way to stop this, at the very least Xiao wouldn't start acting like this.

You figure it has to be the DJ, the music seems to have gotten to both girls, and it reached Abby's dorm, maybe it got her down here too.

You weave around the party, dodging girls who try and paw at your face, and guys trying to get rid of you, following the music as it gets louder and louder.

You push through the small mosh pit gathered around the loudest point of the music, wishing you were bigger, as you bounce off a few people on your way to the front.

You end up coming face to face with an enormous tricked out DJ deck, chrome black and blasting bass at you so hard you can feel the the muscles in your face moving from the pressure, the floor underneath pounding with each note.

The DJ glances down, Hispanic eyes assessing you from behind lowered shades. You see him mouth something to his pasty white friend. 'Who let the fuckin' kid in here?'

His friend however, you do know, pasty white, hair dyed blonde, that's Saule Addams. Puto's beaten the hell out of you at least three times... maybe more, but he barely gives you a cursory, bored glance. That must make the DJ Estavez.

You glance around for a power point, trying to find a way to unplug the machine. Aha! You spot it behind a foosball table. Elbowing and shouldering your way towards it, you yank it out, holding the cable triumphantly.

The music keeps going, picking up it's pitch and tempo slightly, Estavez glancing down at his deck, a look of anger crossing his face, he glares over at you.

He nudges Saule and points to you, muttering something you can'y make out from this far, but you get the gist of it once Saule starts striding towards you.

Suddenly the song changes, turning into a harsh, angry metal riff. Etavez picks up a mic, "Let's see you how y'all REALLY mosh now!"

The crowd whips itself into a frenzy, a burly frat member knees you in the gut, sending you staggering backwards against a wall. You clap your hands back over your ears quickly, glancing upwards, you spot the animalistic fury in the dancers eyes, looking ready to tear each other part.

A brief part happens in the crowd for a second and you see Angie clawing some guy's face with her nails, the same fury on her face, before the crowd closes again. You grab up a solo cup, tearing it into strips as Saule advances, the crowd not bothering him at all, Estavez laughing as someone elbows you in the nose.

You summon 『Semisonic』, the rodent like creature clinging to your shoulder, you hurriedly stuff the bits of the cup into its mouth. It's orangey beige fur twitches as it chews, Saule advancing on you faster as you take aim.

The strip of cardboard flies true, through the crowd, fast enough to leave a slicing sound through the air, as it burrows into Estavez's shoulder.

He goes crashing backwards, his wound deep, as he slams into a wall. The DJ deck disappears, the music with it.

The party suddenly erupts into a cacophany of screams and roars of pain, undercut with a current of confusion. People barge past each other, or taking revenge for the pain inflicted on them. You still can't see the older girls, as Saule shoves the foosball aside, his stand floating out behind him.

You look at it, snowy white.... blue veins undercutting it... jet black hair....

An immense drowsiness comes over you, threatening to knock you out where you stand.

Suddenly the world goes dark. You fear you've lost consciousness, but all your other senses are still grounded in reality.

"Hey kid, you're stand's got big ears! You can hear him coming!" A familiar voice calls out.

Abby! She must have used 『Midnight Runner』s' power to black out your vision, keeping you awake.

It's true, your hearing does become more sensitive when you have your stand summoned.

You can hear Saule's panicked breaths, his heartbeat rising, he starts to blindly lash out hitting others in the crowd.

You feed 『Semisonic』another strip of cardboard, make sure to carefully aim, listening to his movements, and fire, blasting into his leg.

Saule screams in pain, collapsing to the floor, and Abby restores your sight.

Saule is laying on the floor, whining and clutching at a leg wound, you'd blown a penny sized hole straight through his leg, the muscles bleeding on both sides.

Estavez on the far side of the room is still bleeding from his shoulder, as well as his temple from where your shot knocked him against the wall.

Both users are out of the fight. "I did it!: You whoop, leaping and punching the air.

"Alright calm down." Abby snickers, appearing at your side, "Ya little spaz."

A flush of embaressment crawls up your neck, as you stare down at the two stand users. "My... my 『Good Vibrations』 .... lost?" Estavez mutters aloud. "How?"

Abby nudges you, handing you a set of earplugs, showing you her own. "I heard the music and came to check it out." She explains, "But then one fell out. Hold on to those, just in case."

You stuff them in your pocket, nodding thankfully.

You press down, powering through the worst pushup of your life, the unconscious bodies of about six dudes roll off you in a heap and you drag your legs free.

"What happened?" You ask groggily, but no one you know is around. Nor is anyone awake.

You spot Angie slumped on the stairwell, she's got a nasty cut on her cheek, all the way down to her chin, and the beginning of a black eye swelling up.

"Xiao! Angie?" You hear Rai call out.

You drag her into the other room and Rai fills you in on the situation, telling you how he took them both out, with Abby's help at the last minute, both stand users writhing in pain.

"Abby, know somewhere... quiet we can drag these two?" You ask.

She takes a moment to consider, before snapping her fingers, "Oh! The liberal arts building. Literally everyone else but me doesn't bother showing up, because... well, you know...." She makes a smoking motion, "Liberal arts."

You pat Rai on the shoulder, before handing Angie off to Abby. Squatting, you heave Addams, then Estavez over each shoulder, trying to avoid their blood soaking into your clothes.

It's a quick hurry across campus, out the back door, as ambulance claxons start to grow closer. Abby swipes her student card and provides entrance to the destitute building. It's only 4pm, but there's not a single light turned on the building.

Abby fumbles in the dark for a minute, before you drag the two hostages into a class room, tossing them to the floor.

Both scream in pain as they hit the ground, trying to clutch their wounds. "Alright you two? What do you know about this girl?"

They exchange blank looks, "Uhhh? Did we- did one of us bang her or something?" Saule asks, "Cos I don't usually go for chicks below eight, and she's like a six-"

Abby clenches her fists tightly. "Shut. Your damn. Mouth." She hisses.

"Don't look at me blanca." Estavez adds, "I don't do white chicks, all they asses is flat as hell." Abby's fingers twitch, as if wanting to throw something, until you step forward. Estavez winks as you squat by his head, "Now Asian bitches on the other hand, I love me some-"

Angie drives her foot into his gut. "For once I agree with Angie. Shut. Up."

"What do you know about the thing that was on Abby's neck, controlling her thoughts?" You demand.

"Mind control?" Saule snorts, "Only thing we know about that is Raul's music. Ain't no neck thing involved until the lady's get all excited for us." Angie gives him a likewise treatment. "Bitch!" He hisses, "We don't know shit, I'm telling you."

Warn them that someone is making more stand users, putting things into people's necks to control them, and generally being a bad dude or lady and people have died.

Tell the guy to cool it with the heavy mind control.

They're idiots an know nothing.
>>
>>40739735
Recruit these guys. Better for us to recruit them, than someone else turn them against us.
Warn them about the neck thing and stuff.
>>
>>40739816
If the dude is so smooth, he shouldn't need his mind control music to get mad chicas.

Otherwise , he'll make this chica mad
>>
>>40739816
Aren't they basically date rapists? Do we really want to trust them?
>>
>>40739961
Date rapist friend or date rapist enemy, pick your poison.
>>
>>40739961
Not realizing we don't need to trust them, and we can send rapists after someone who pisses us off, if they are on our side.
They can control mobs of people. That is just too good to pass up. If we are smart about this, we can take over a tri-state area!
>>
>>40740054
Anon, that isn't justice.
>>
>>40739982
>>40740054
They wills tab us in the back, at least if they're enemies we know where we stand.

>>40739735
>These two idiots don't know anything, let them go
Have someone tail them.
>>
>>40740086
Doesn't have to be justice?
>>40740129
We can use them. We don't have to trust them. Antagonizing them for no good reason is not better than keeping tabs on them and having them work for us.
>>
>>40740054
Anon we are in Texas, the Tri-state area isn't even close to us!

You cluck your tongue in annoyance. These idiots don't know anything, they're just skeevy fucks. "You don't remember these guys then?" You ask Abby.

She stares at the two of them, then shrugs, "The whole night's a blur. All I remember is the blond eyebrows...."

Right, well. These two seem more skeevy then evil, to you at least. Might as well let them be with their wounds. "Just... look you two, someone out there's making new stand users with this knife, and putting things into peoples necks that control them. People have died over this. So can you make my job easier and be better human beings by easing up on the mind control?"

They exchange a glance, then "We know about that knife chick." Raul tells you.

"Wait, what?" You demand, leaning in close. "Who is it?" These idiots have info? You grab him up by the collar. "WHO!?"

He pauses, thinking as hard as his combination of idiocy and blood loss allows. "It was.... uh....." He slaps his face a few times, "Some milfy chick, said she works in the city."

"Nah man, works FOR the city she said." Saule corrects him, but god damn did she have an ass."

You roll your eyes and slap Raul across the face. "WHO? Give me a name!"

He just shrugs, "Didn't ask. She just said she'd pay us a lot of money if we let her cut our fingers."

God damn it.

You drop him on the floor, "You two can patch yourselves up." You grunt. You slam the door behind you as you leave, the others following you.

"Works for the city?" Angie asks. "What does that mean? Like... a cop? Or, what like a vigilante or something?"

You rub the bridge of your nose, the pounding pain still rests in your jaw, the sun is going down, and you barely made any progress.

Everyone but Abby seems pretty beat up, "Alright, let's turn in for the night guys. We should patch ourselves up."

Abby dithers for a second as you start to leave, "Ummm... I think I'll call an ambulance for them- from a payphone, I mean."

You wave her on, "Alright Abby, let us know when you're good to go, okay?"

She nods and hurries off, as the three of you, battle sore and bloodied, drag yourselves onto a bus. You and Angie bid Rai goodbye when you pass your house, telling him to take care when he hands his pictures out.

Mom STILL isn't back from her B&B trip with Ed yet. At least Angie's around to cook. Mom could have at least left a number to call, but that would be too simple. Still, a feeling deep in your gut tells you she's alright.

It takes you and Angie an our bewteen the two of you to scrub all the blood out from under your fingernails, yours being substantially harder due to their bluntness, brought on from years of biting them.

Angie's kind enough to rub pain relief ointment into your bruise, and you in turn dab disinfectant into her cut and the same ointment on her burgeoning black eye.

"So, you remember anything you did?" She asks as you gently rub the cream in. "I drank like three beers, threw up, then the last thing was kissing..... I think it was a girl?" She shrugs, "Not important. You?"

You shrug, "Nothing, just Rai desperately trying to get me out. But that got drowned out."

"Bizzare." She shrugs, "Well hopefully now that we beat the hell out of them, those two creeps are retired from there kinda rapey ways."

"Let's hope." You grunt.

Angie cooks steak for dinner, which you both watch over dinner, it seems the news is starting to clue into the rise of stand users, reporting bizzare stories, some sort of collapse at a rodeo downtown, gang violence is getting more silly looking and the police are lost.

And of course, they close with that stupid chupacabra story again, leaving a trail of dead cows in it's wake, so they say.

"Weird day." You grunt.

>End of Episode 7
