It is the year 20XX, and the world has entered a time of relative peace. Thanks to strides in technology made by the world's foremost
robotics expert, Dr. Thomas Light, society is thriving. Robots are nearly ubiquitous in modern society, and chief among them are the
Robot Masters, specialized leader units designed with a humanoid appearance to ease interactions with people. Despite the repeated attempts of
Dr. Wily to use such machines to conquer the globe, humanity is still receptive and acceptingt of their role in society.

You are one of these units. Like most robot masters, you were built as a custom model. Robot masters rarely see mass production, instead
being tailored specifically for their purpose. There are many jobs you may have been designed for, as Robot Masters can be found
in a wide variety of fields.

(Select a general category for your purpose. Further details will be decided after.)

>Industrial-You were designed to manage a factory, plant, or similar large-scale production process. It is your job to oversee
the facility, manage day-to-day operations, and handle any problems that occur. Examples include (Fire Man, Drill Man, Plug Man)

>Construction-You were created to handle tasks related to the construction of new buildings and other structures. This can include demolition of old
buildings, construction of new ones, or clearing of land to make room for new sites. Examples include (Cut Man, Bomb Man, Concrete Man)

>Recreational-You were made to look after a park, museum, or other location designed for leisure. Robot masters like these often interact the most with people,
having to guide guests or answer questions. Examples include (Magic Man, Hornet Man, Nitro Man)

>Exploration-You were built to progress scientific knowledge and delve into new frontiers, be they physical or more abstract. Scientific research, space exploration,
anything that pushes against the boundaries of human knowledge. Examples include (Ice Man, Gemini Man, and Pharaoh Man)

>Military-You were outfitted for combat and tactics. While armed conflicts between nations were almost unheard of in the current day and age, there is still a need for peacekeeping forces
due to smaller radical groups. As a military robot master, you possess powerful weaponry unlike most civilian models. Examples include (Proto Man, Search Man, Commando Man)

>Emergency- You were constructed as an emergency response unit. Whether on a small or large scale, your job is to help those in need and save lives.
Examples include (Snake Man, Tornado Man, Splash Woman)

>Other-You were built for some other purpose, falling outside of these other categories. Robot masters are built for a wide array of purposes, some very specific.

You were a space exploration robot. While a number of Robot Masters with that task have been made in the past, there are still many secrets worth finding in the galaxy.

With that in mind, there are the specifics of your design to consider...

Mobility
>You utilize a specialized thruster system to get around uneven terrain and achieve a degree of flight
>Your body is lightweight and built for running speed, able to travel large distances on foot with ease

Armor
>Your armor is designed to be rather heavy, sacrificing mobility for a bit of extra protection
>You have thin armor, enough to protect against weaker debris while not weighing you down

Load-out
>As a Robot Master, you have a unique system to aid you in your objectives. In most of Dr. Wily's schemes, it's these special systems that are upgraded into their devastating weaponry. (Suggest a special weapon)

Ownership
>You are privately owned, reporting back to the scientist who built you, or the likely wealthy person who purchased you
>You work for a corporation or a large-scale space program

Design
>Suggest any preferences for appearance, shape or looks

Lastly, most Robot Masters had a flaw within their design, usually a vulnerability to extremes of one kind or another. While not very relevant in most day to day operation, there was always the chance you might encounter something unexpected

>Explosives - Due to your light armor and solar panels, large explosions would easily crack your armor

>Heat - Your coolant system was not designed to withstand extreme temperatures, making volcanoes and other extreme heat sources rather dangerous for you

>Electricity - With the heavy radiation shielding of your internal components to withstand the harshness of space, you are left with less room for other circuit components. This results in a vulnerability to lightning strikes or other large electrical surges.

>Other - You have some other weakness due to your design

>>41420823

Spacecraft are actually extremely well insulated from heat, due to the lack of passive air cooling.

For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to go with the second option. You'll be starting off sane, though a slow decent into space madness isn't out of the question.

With that though, we've completed character creation. I'll need some time to sort things out for the first thread, so we'll be starting next week. I'll make an announcement here: https://twitter.com/QM_Medievalmon
