You are Sallazar, a young wizard who has recently left the army. You have taken a teaching job at Egwen Girls Convent.

In addition the Headmaster of the school wants you to run the schools adventurers club, to give some of the schools more...unusual...girls something fun to do.

Finally the day of the dungeon is here. Hopefully all of your work during the week has paid off.

You’ve worked hard to make equipment for the girls and trained them as best you can. You’ve even recruited additional trainers. Now they will face their first test against other teams.

Fortunately, although this a Junior League Match, since your team are working as bad girls this won’t go on the club official record. A loss here won’t have any negative consequences...but a win won’t go on your record either. Still it will be a good experience for your girls.

“Stay together!” you yell, as all six members of Team Fell Storm come rushing out of the Lightning Rail carriage behind you and into the crowded station. The station throngs with crowds and is a confusing mass of walkways and stairs as lightning rail carriages arrive and depart on four different levels.

“Huh so this is Ceram” says Kittrane, folding her arms dismissively “I’m not impressed.”

“Its so big” says Evrumine, her eyes wide as she looks around.
>>
“I’ve seen bigge-hey!” Chame starts to say something but is interrupted by Syphoebeus bumping into her as she disembarks.

You’re in the main lightning rail station in Ceram, in the Republic of Izine, and you’re all about to participate in your first proper league match, albeit as dungeon denizens rather than an adventurer team.

You check your notes, hotel address, lightning rail tickets, address of the tailor the Daves had make the girls outfits, directions to the castle ruins that will be the *dungeon*, directions to the camping grounds the other groups are using...

The dungeon isn’t due to start until early afternoon; the Daves want you there by midday so they can go over the castle ruins with you.

Because you’re a cheap copper-pinching miser, you took the overnight rail, again, so its currently early morning and you haven’t even had breakfast yet, nor have the girls.

“I’m hungry” complains Nevyn “when can we eat?” you hear growling, that’s her stomach, probably.

“First we get to our hotel, get checked in and have breakfast” you say

“And then Sir?” asks Cleya.

“And then” you say, pausing for thought.

Pretty outfits it is, writing

>Go get the girls outfits
>>
“And then we’re going to get your outfits” you say.

After settling into the hotel and having breakfast, you all head over to the tailors. You are greeted by a young half-elf called Horace who brings out the outfits, and shows the girls to private dressing rooms. Most of the outfits are fine.

You have a quick fashion show in a private area of the tailors shop.

Cleya has a close cut but not revealing wizards outfit in the chosen style of brown and grey with a definite necromancer/witch king theme. A thin chain encircles her waist and the long flowing robe is covered in arcane looking symbols. Her shoulders are bare to allow her to grow her eyestalks as she wishes.

Nevyn is a more minimalist look: A simple rogues outfit without the usual bandoliers and various knife sheaths. Hers also has a snarling animal mask that she insisted upon.

Chame was denied the skin-tight suit that revealed...everything. Instead she has a rogues outfit like Nevyn, but where Nevyns is minimalist, Chames is very busy indeed. Bandoliers of pouches, knife sheaths, pockets and dozens of short chains hang from her outfit and hey that wasn’t in the design you submitted! The brazier um, area has support in the ah chest in the form of two skeletal hands. Did Chame alter the design she gave you after you checked it?

“Is that going to stop her wearing anything else?” Nevyn asks, pointing at Chame.

“All of the outfits have a minor enchantment that will adjust them to fit with armour” Horace assures you.

Both Evrumine and Kittrane are definitely happy with the barbarian look: Furs, leather and big bulky outfits. Evrumine has a wide helmet with holes for her horns and Kittrane has a belt of realistic-looking skulls.

The only problem is Syphoebeus’ outfit. It was meant a simple short-sleeved vest and knee-length skirt combination, however...
>>
“I am so sorry” says Horace, wringing his hands “I um, I though you must have the measurements wrong and so I adjusted it...”

Instead of the light outfit with room to move, Syphoebeus’ outfit is more of a tight top and miniskirt.

“How come I can’t have one like that?” complains Chame.

“Well, at least she’s not going in with us” says Nevyn, looking at Syphoebeus’ outfit critically

“It’s ok” says Syphoebeus, walking around the room and swinging her arms “I can still move in this.”

“Whilst showing of everything dear” says Cleya with a sigh.

“What do you mean?” asks Syphoebeus, looking puzzled.

“What she’s saying” says Evrumine “is that if you try lifting anything in that, you’ll break out.”

It does look very tight in certain areas...

“Let her keep it” says Chame, grinning, apparently over her disappointment “It’ll be a great distraction.”

What do you do?
>Alter the outfit to the original design
>Leave it as is

“I think it’s best if we stick to the original design” you say to Horace testily “rather than winging it.”

“Ah of course sir” says Horace with a bow “I’ll get it done immediately, just let me...” and taking out a knotted cord he takes new measurements of Syphoebeus, though he needs a stool to do so. Syphoebeus takes this with the same laid back attitude as everything she does.

“But its perfect!” complains Chame “Sir, it hugs her in all the right places, glides over her skin when she moves, why can’t she just-”

“Oh put a sock in it Chame” grumbles Kittrane, she’s blushing and refusing to look in Syphoebeus’ direction.
---
“Azar, where yer bin?” Dave claps you on the shoulder “welcome to Mauras Castle. After some searching you found the Daves in the midst of a huge camp surrounding a ruined castle.

The girls stare up at the castle walls as Dave hands you a map.

“What is this?” you say.

“Castle from during the Last War” says one of the Daves “got attacked a few times, but low on the repair list, bit battered but nothing currently falling down.”

“Is it safe?” you ask.

“Eh, mostly” says Dave “don’t go jumping of the walls and you’ll be fine, and even then, soft grass landing and we’ve got clerics on site.”

“Ok” you look at the map “So what am I looking at here?”

“Moat fed by a wide river” says Dave “river dock for unloading supplies. The outer wall is lower so on the inner wall you can see over it, and you’re firing down on any one on the inner. Each tower inner or outer can close its gates and become its own mini fortress. Inner wall has a corridor inside it. Barbican and North Gate House are both killing zones: Portcullis, arrow slots, heavy gates, it has it all.”

You give an impressed whistle “The Izines don’t mess about” you say “Was it ever taken?”

“Once” says Dave, scratching his beard “but then it was being defended by an idiot.”

“Ok” you say, still looking at the plans “What have I got to defend it?”
>>
“Oh y’know not much” says Dave “hundred orcs, three hundred skeletons, your choice of archers, or melee fighters, you got your girls, and we’ve been allowed by the judges to do one boss monster.” He grins.

“Isn’t-” you start to ask about your old friend Gilbrox.

“Nah, got double booked, the idiot” says Dave, rolling his eyes “Nah we gotta go usual illusion/simulacrum for this. So anyway you can have a giant, a dragon or a giant squid, got any preference?”

“Ummm” you think about that.

Evrumine asks “can we go and tour the castle? Please?” Several of the other girls nod in agreement.

It might be a good idea to tour the place, give them an idea of what they’re defending.

Well, if she is genuinely a being that exists one dimension higher than us, and she figured out how to be in that higher dimension, then she could effectively appear to be invisible to us until she chose not to. Like how we could be invisible to a two-dimensional being by simply not intersecting their two-dimensional plane and instead moving parallel to it.

“Dragon” says Kittrane

“Giant” counters Cleya

“Dragon!” insists Nevyn

“Giant!” Evrumine gets in on the argument

“Girls” you say firmly “we’re going with a squid, it’s perfect for a moat after all.” There are some disappointed groans.

“A naughty squid?” asks Chame with a grin

“No” you say with finality

“You’re no fun” says Chame, looking down and kicking a stone.

“C’mon” you say “lets go tour the castle.”
---
The Daves take you on a private tour of the castle: its everything they said it was.

“So if your attackers do get over the first wall” says Dave “then the second is higher, the outer wall has no shelter against the inner walls and there are arrow-slits everywhere.”

“And if they get past the inner walls” says the other Dave, almost bouncing with excitement as he walks “all the turrets are mini-fortresses, which means they have to clear them out one by one, or leave foes at their back that could launch a counter-attack at any time.”

“Can’t they just teleport past though?” asks Cleya

Dave taps his nose with a dirty finger “yeah they could” he says “except...this!” he pulls a grubby stone orb from his pocket covered in runes.

“Well” says Kittrane “I’m impressed, one whole rock.” Dave gives her what he probably thinks is a haughty look.

“It’s a diverting stone” you say to Kittrane “it allows you to redirect teleport spells in an area. How many charges has it got?” you ask Dave.

Dave coughs “for balance and fairness the rules prevent me from telling you” The other Dave holds up seven fingers. Hopefully any would-be teleporters will give up after being dropped in the moat several times.

Once you’ve been over the whole castle both you and the girls have a good idea of is strong points, and then you meet up in the north gate house where there is a throne all ready for the witch king, and a large map for you all to use to plan with.
>>
“So, the squid in the moat” you say “that can take care of a few attackers, but where will they head for?”

“Whichever stretch of wall has the fewest archers” says Kittrane “that’s the obvious route in.”

“Obvious trap” counters Syphoebeus, “a smart attacker will suspect something is up when the rest of the castle walls all have lots of archers and one part of it only has one.”

“Are we keeping them off the walls?” asks Evrumine “or letting them in so Nevyn and Chame can ambush them a lot?”

“We?” says Kittrane, glaring at Evrumine “This is main party only.”

“And minions!” says Calluna, waving a hand at the back of the group, ah yes, you’d forgotten she was here, as well as...

“Who’s the best minion ever!” Calluna croons to Mr Pogostus “It’s a fishy squiddy Mr Pogostus isn’t it? Yes it is! Do you want to be a squid Mr Pogostus? Of course you do!”

You let her bring her pet as long as she made sure it didn’t cause any trouble. It seems to be tolerating her hugging and petting it, but snaps at anyone else that gets close.

“Wait, why can’t we join in?” Syphoebeus asks Kittrane, leaning in.

Kittrane looks like she wants to lean back, or do something, but doesn’t.

Cleya asks you “Um, isn’t it the rules that we can only have four members?”

“And minions!” says Calluna again excitedly.

“Actually” says one of the Daves “since you’re castle defenders and not an adventuring party right now, you could all play if you wanted.”

The girls all look to you for a decision.

Who is playing today?
>Just the four main team (and minions!)
>Everyone
>Other (what?)

And castle defenders

300 skeletons
100 orcs
1 giant squid

>Where will you place them?

Default positioning is an even spread throughout the castle, but players can choose if they wish. No placement is final until the game begins, so plenty of time to discuss.

The girls will pick their positions when the game begins.
>>
>>41428562
>Everyone
Is there any particular reason not to? If they were here as adventuring party obviously, but as castle defenders its just extra experience.
>Squid into the moat unless Calluna has a chat with it
>200 Skeleton archers dispersed along the inner wall
>60 skeleton archers in 10 archer groups along the outer one, try to hit whatever the squid has dragged into the moat
>Each tower has 10 orcs, the remaining 40 come 30 to the southern gatehouse, together with 20 skeleton archers. The orcs in the southern gatehouse can reinforce attacked towers
>Remaining 10 orcs and 20 skeleton archers to the northern gatehouse to protect the Witch-King
>>
>>41428621
Ups, I though all the skeletons were archers. make it 1/2 archers and warriors of skelletons on the out wall and 25%/75% warrior/archers on the inner wall. orcs all warriors, because they are supposed to be inside anyway.

And we've got a plan, and an interesting place for the squid.
>>
>>41428685
>and an interesting place for the squid
Does this gatehouse have a really huge antechamber? Otherwise I gotta object to putting it somewhere where it can't move.
>>
>>41428562
>>41428661
>>41428685
I have to object to this placement too, in the antechamber the squid would be at a huge disadvantage due to the small size of the place, anyone could just kill it from the outside with a AoE spell.
Especially since the suggestion came too late.
>>
>>41428713
No, it came in time.

But its a pretty bad idea nonetheless and a tie at best.
>>
Its a suggestion, not a final vote. I was just commenting.
>>
“I don’t see why we can’t have everyone involved” you say “I mean sure if you were competing in a regular match it would be only the main team but today we’re the villains, so we can do what we like. Plus it’ll be a valuable experience for you all.”

Syphoebeus gives Kittrane a smug look. Kittrane just folds her arms and looks away “Sure, whatever” she says.

“Ok” you say to the Daves “So what are the adventurers like that we’re facing?”

“Here!” says one of the Daves, pulling a crumpled mess of paper out of his pocket “wrote it all down, anyway, look at the time, gotta go and fetch your squid, remember reception is at midday. You don’t have to come but its expected.” The Daves leave, still talking to each other excitedly.

The Daves have written you a... helpful guide...to the five adventuring parties that will be attacking the castle.

i) Faith and Steel: A group sponsored by an inter-faith organisation known as the Order of Cleansing Light. Two paladins and two clerics. This group is new to the Junior League but are already making a name for themselves. One of their favourite tactics is area attack spells followed by charging en-masse. Theme (Divine) can use additional divine magic items, higher level divine spells.
ii) Right to Rule: A self-funding group of young nobles. Two Fighters and Two Bards. Not the best success rate in matches but they are very well equipped and will usually bring specialised items for specific matches. They have already received several cautions from judges for attacking when a match is declared finished. Theme (none).
>>
>>41428784
Its all good, I was just voicing my objection since otherwise you wouldn't know there are any.

And its a fantasy version of the castle, maybe it DOES have a huge antechamber somehow.
>>
iii) Spellcraft Supremacy: Sponsored by the Western Albia Mages Guild. Three Wizards, one Sorcerer. Another new group, prefer to use magic as a solution to all problems. Had to withdraw from a lengthy match several weeks ago citing health concerns. The on-site cleric said they’re just lazy and out of shape and that after running a half-mile two of them just had shortness of breath. Theme (Arcane) can use additional Arcane magic items, higher level arcane spells.
iv) Soaring Falcons (Junior): Sponsored By Soaring Falcons Mercenary Company. Fighter, Rogue, Wizard, Cleric. A young team but with some very experienced trainers and coaches. The Soaring Falcons are in this competition to win, no matter the cost. They try to match their tactics to the situation, but are sometimes overeager. Theme (none).
v) Raid Rush: Sponsored by Halriks Berserkers Mercenary Company. Three Barbarians and one Cleric/Bard. Raid Rush have an unconventional fast-attack style and rely on their durability and determination to get them through tough situations. Theme (none).

You and the girls peruse the notes and discuss the best placements of skeletons and orcs within the castle. You spend a couple of hours hammering out the detail, until you realise that it’s almost midday.

“Um sir” says Chame, attempting to look innocent “shouldn’t we y’know, go and introduce ourselves to the...nice young men we’ll be fighting?”

Nevyn and Evrumine giggle.

“Lets get a look at the opposition” says Kittrane, slamming fist into a palm “see what they’re made of”

“Or we could spend more time y’know, planning” says Cleya “Sir I think thesr skeletons are best placed here, rather than here.”

“Will there be food there?” asks Syphoebeus “I am rather hungry”

>in the antechamber the squid would be at a huge disadvantage due to the small size of the place
We don't actually know the relative sizes of the squid and the chamber. If they're unfavorable, maybe we can find somewhere else inside the castle that would work for the squid. Antechamber was just the first thing to come to mind.

>anyone could just kill it from the outside with a AoE spell.
I'm not sure why that would be something exclusive to the gatehouse, or why we couldn't just throw up something to block spells outside the entrance, like an antimagic field. Maybe get one of those Dark Souls fog gates in here.
>>
>>41428990
We have literally a map where we can see these things on, you just need to use the source given by Pally.

The courtyard might work if we get it filled in time.

As to the AoE, obviously the less room to evade the squid has, the easier is it to hit.
>>
Tempting idea, have Chame just sitting disguised in the middle of the courtyard as a treasure chest. No other enemies in sight after token resistance getting past the gatehouse.

The paranoia alone could kill any normal party...
>>
are the girls going to be restricted to their assigned positions or can they move around freely? if they can move around then maybe Chame can mimic herself around doorways and pickpocket anyone going through.

>are the girls going to be restricted to their assigned positions or can they move around freely?

They can go anywhere they want within or near the castle.

I think Chame would be best at seeing who is the biggest asshole of our enemies and then impersonating that one to ambush the other ones.
I'm unsure if Calluna should help Chame with her mindfuckery or with one of the melee fighters for healing.
>>
“Me too” you say to Syphoebeus “Lets go and get something to eat.”
---
The reception has a buffet-style lunch and you are all welcomed by the event judges, the Mages guild sponsoring the event (and arranging for some people to see it on their scrying devices safe at home, for a fee), the trainers and coaches of the other teams, and the other teams themselves. You’re all under a large tent.

Your girls are all polite and well behaved, they chat and shake hands and speak to everyone. Well, most of them do, Calluna is distracted by things only she can see and hear.

At the initial line up Faith and Steel refuse to shake Kittranes hand. Most simply turn away from her but their youngest member who can’t have celebrated his 13th birthday very long ago, apologises to her.

Kittrane seems more baffled than upset. Still, that minor incident aside things go smoothly. Although the boys from Right to Rule have been giving your girls the sort of looks that make you want to smack the arrogant snobs. Ah, maybe you’re just prejudiced against nobles.

You fill your plate with food and get chatting with one of the wizards who trains Spellcraft Supremacy. He’s been working on the interesting problem of linked messenger stones and...

In fact you’re so distracted you don’t almost don’t hear Calluna sidle up to you and whisper “Kittranes being bad” she says this last in a sing-song tone.

You excuse yourself from the conversation and scan the room. It looks like Kittrane might not be the only one you need to talk too..

Kittrane is exchanging heated words with one of Faith and Steels Clerics. Ansric you think his name was. So far it looks like an argument, but that might escalate. The youngest member of Faith and Steel is there too, it looks like he’s just fetched a drink for Kittrane, and is looking very worried.
>>
Chame is hard to see, she’s in a shadowed corner of the tent, speaking to two of the members of Right to Rule, one is sat either side of her, and very close too.

Evrumine is sat opposite a member of Raid Rush – armwrestling him. Innocent enough but another member of Raid Rush is walking up behind her with a large flagon in hand, and trying to look innocent.

Syphoebeus is nearby, at the buffet line for the fourth time. You can’t see anything untoward going on.

Cleya is talking to two members of Spellcraft Supremacy. You can’t hear what is being said but see looks irritated and they both look like they’re lecturing her about something.

Calluna is right next to you and Nevyn is nowhere in sight.

A map of the castle it's based on, but there might be some differences, particularly in scale, in the fantasy version.

>As to the AoE, obviously the less room to evade the squid has, the easier is it to hit.
Aren't AoEs usually impossible to fully evade without special powers anyway? It seems odd to mention AoEs in particular when the mechanical effect would be lowered Defences.

A fog gate would still prevent attacks from outside from being exploitable, or at least make it way harder, and we might actually be able to make one. It's just an opaque illusion that negates spells and has a one-way force wall.

Maybe flood the antechamber but put skeletons (with snorkles and flippers, obviously) in there behind a fog gate to screw with people?

Ah well, on to my next bad idea. Have Calluna draw all of her body except the skeleton outside of this dimension with that new power she has and hide amongst the skeletons that are near Cleya, or whoever else she gets assigned to.

Err, that isn't for the current situation.

Because AoEs can avoid the problem of lacking line of sight, if the squid is in a room, it could easily stay out of sight and therefore be untargatable for regular attack spells, AoE spells could hit it even without having line of sight.

And no, to avoid a AoE spell you just have to be outside its area. Since its a squid and usually swims, the best to do that would be diving deeper, which isn't possible in that case.

A hypothetical aqua room would be better filled with melee skeletons to occupty the opponents for longer in it.

I don't think you get to take a move action as a response to someone casting a spell unless you have a thing that lets you do that, though.

That might not matter, depending on how deep the moat is, how big the AoE is and what spells the caster has.

A Diviniation specialist, for example, would probably not be bothered by impaired visibility much, and may very well have a specialization power that negates it, kind of like our spell mantle.

Warriors would be screwed, but they're always screwed.

“Calluna go and check on Chame would you please” you say “make sure she’s behaving herself.”

“Oh is this a mating thing?” Calluna asks. The wizard you’re talking to chose the worst time to sip his wine, now he’s coughing and sniggering.

“Well I’d rather it didn’t get that far” you say to Calluna “now go. Syphoebeus...” you point out Evrumines predicament. Syphoebeus gives a nod and heads in that direction.

You head over to Kittrane.

“Do you want to repeat that while you still can?” says Kittrane “because you’re about to find out if your God can heal a smashed in face.”

“How typical of an abominate” says the member of Faith and Steel, yeah Ansric must be his name “you resort to violence and threats when confronted with the truth about your vile and inhuman nature.”

“Confront this” says Kittrane, drawing back a fist as beside her the younger member of Faith and Steel looks back and forth between Ansric and Kittrane, biting his lower lip, clearly unsure what to do. Ansric is several inches shorter than Kittrane but looks fairly strong, and his fingers are twitching, as if getting ready to cast a spell.

“Kittrane!” you say in a falsely jovial voice “making new friends I see, excellent, why don’t you introduce us?”

They both freeze as you walk up to them, as if unsure what to do with an adult around. Then Kittrane lower her fist “uh, this is uh Answick”

“Ansric” says the broad young man, offering you a small bow “Professor”.

“Charmed” you say with a smile you don’t really feel “and this is...?” you turn to the younger member of Faith and Steel.

“Edhiem Sir!” squeaks out the young boy, ah yes, he was introduced as one of their paladins, young to receive the call of course.

Then he tries to repeat his name in a voice that doesn’t sounds like it could have come from one of your students, and fails. Ah well lad you think, don’t worry your voice will change eventually...

Kittrane and Ansric lock glares. Uh oh, time to go.
>>
“Lovely to meet you both” you say “if you’ll excuse me, we both need to get to a team meeting, I’m sure we’ll see you again.”

“Yeah” growls Kittrane as you lead her firmly away “real soon.” When you’re a few steps away you glance back, just in case Ansric decides to do something stupid.

Ansric is walking away with his back to you, but Edhiem is gazing wistfully at Kittrane. Then he heads after Ansric, the drink he was trying to give Kittrane in his hand. As you watch he makes the least convincing stumble in history and throws the drink all over Ansrics back.

Ansric gives a yell of annoyance and glares at Edhiem as the younger boy apologises profusely and tries to help dry his senior with a cloth.

Kittrane doesn’t see any of this. You glance around. Chame and Calluna are leaving the corner, the two young nobles are laughing, their faces red. Chame looks irritated but she’s glaring at Calluna not the nobles, so you hope nothing inappropriate has happened.

And Syphoebeus has a flagon in one hand drinking thirstily and the flagons former holder in a casual-looking headlock. The poor young boy doesn’t seem to know if he should be embarrassed or happy that Syphoebeus has him hugged up against her. Evrumine wins her armwrestling match, to much cheering.

“Professor” asks Kittrane as you walk away “is that guy right, am I vile and inhuman?”

Oh boy, one of those questions. You see Nevyn coming back into the tent from the direction the latrines are located, alone thankfully.

How do you respond to Kittrane?

>Well, you are sort of violent

Well, humans, and dwarves and drow and... you get the picture.

You wonder if you should tell her that not everyone in Faith and Steel seems to dislike her but...no, you have enough to deal with already.

“He was the one who insulted you for what you are,” you say “so he is the vile one. As for inhuman, well, yes: you aren't fully human. So what?”

Kittrane just looks moody as you continue “He meant it in a negative sense, but really here is nothing special about being human. Take it from me.” You try to keep the bitterness out of your tone at that last bit.

Kittrane gives you a curious look but doesn’t say anything as you head back to the girls, who are now grouped together. Syphoebeus still has a member of Raid Rush in a headlock.

“If you’re going to ruin my life” declares Chame, glaring at you “could you *not* send Loony Calluny to do it?”

Calluna doesn’t seem bothered by the name, Evrumine, Nevyn and Syphoebeus laugh, as Cleya walks up, muttering under her breath.

“What happened?” Kittrane asks.

Nevyn explains between giggles “Calluna walked right up to Chame and asked her if she intended to *mate with them one at a time or both together and that the professor hoped it wouldn’t happen.*”

Chame gives you a withering look at Calluna just strokes her fish happily.

Before you can ask Cleya what happened the judges start speaking “Into your teams and listen up” says one “these are the rules.”

“Pheobe let the poor boy go” you say.

“Oh, right, yes sir” says Syphoebeus. The member of Raid Rush, a lean, muscular young man, walks away blushing, casting glances back at Syphoebeus.
---
>>
“Standard match rules apply” declares the judge “there are five teams. The team with the most points at the end wins. Points are awarded for foes defeated and treasure found. Points are deducted for party losses and for *kills* of rival parties. This is not a player-vs-player game” he glares at Raid Rush and Soaring Falcons (Junior). “Party wipe means you lose all points saving those gained by defeating the main villain. Game begins in forty-five minutes, teams will start ten minutes apart in an order chosen by drawing straws. Teams can start at any point but no closer to the castle walls than a hundred paces.”

“Right” you say to the girls “lets go.”
---
You all rush to the castle and check the positions of your defenders, make sure everything is ready and deal with last minute panics.

“Where’s my crossbow bolts?” says Chame “I put them right here!”

“Under the table” you say “Syphoebeus are you sure you’re ok with that hammer?” She’s holding a hammer bigger than she is.

“Oh sure sir” she gives it an experimental swing “just fine.”

“Uh sir” says Cleya “the magic items?”

Right, right, you’ve got some items to share out. You grab the bag.

And the girls need to start somewhere.

[Items]
[Wand of Silence: As the spell, holds 10 charges, 2 Arcane, Divine or Primordial energy can be spent instead of a charge.]
[Shortsword of Defence: Adds +2 to attack and damage, adds +6 to melee defence]
[Whip of Entangling: Restrains target hit. Can also be commanded to grab and hold onto an object or surface with a strength of 20; detaches when commanded by wielder, 20ft long]
[Enchanted (moderate) Chainshirt: DR 6]
[Belt of Giants Strength (19): Sets wearer strength to 19, if lower than this]
[Headband of Perfection (Least): Increases Strength, Agility, Constitution and Willpower by 2 each; adds +3 to unarmed damage]

Once everything has been shared out, and all the other girls have picked up whichever lumps of metal they feel most comfortable hitting people with, you’re ready to begin.

“For now though” says Professor Sallazar “We wait?”

“Why sir?” you ask “shouldn’t we be trying to keep them off the walls?”

Professor Sallazar smiles and shakes his head “A good idea Cleya” he says, you feel a small surge of pride that this person who is so knowledgeable about magic thinks your idea is a good one.

“But” he adds “not practical. We’ve got five attacking groups ten minutes apart. You could beat back one or two groups, but not all five. No, let the orcs and skeletons wear them down, and then take them off after they’ve worn themselves out.”

“Yes sir” you say diffidently. Professor Sallazar is the expert after all.

“But as we wait” he says “lets see what’s happening.” You watch with interest as he casts a divination spell, then an illusion spell and does...something with them.

The flat map on the table in front of you all springs to life as a small copy of the castle appears. You can see skeletons walking on the walls and around the castle the adventuring parties are gathered.

Soaring Falcons move first. Two of their members raise shields as the other two gather in behind them and one casts a spell. They advance with arrows falling around them but none of the arrows seem to do much. Eventually they reach the castle walls. One takes out a tiny something that grows into a boat and they row across.

Then Raid Rush moves. They all raise shields and rush the walls, though some get shot with arrows and look a little hurt: its hard to make out details on this. One of them casts a apell and a bridge of ice appears and they all rush across.

Faith and Steel start advancing just as a member of the Soaring Falcons climbs up the wall like a spider, a rope around his waist.

I want Calluna to be a bard in the worst way.

I know it's probably not optimal, but holy shit it would be hilarious.

She could regale her foes with disturbing, otherworldly song from several locations at the same time.

Raid Rush are putting a bit ladder against the wall and starting to climb up. All three teams are approaching different parts of the wall. None of them are near the squid. Faith and Steel have stopped at the moats edge, it looks like one of their clerics is casting a spell.

“Uh sir?” you ask “should we go now?”

You can see Kittrane shifting weight from foot to foot: she wants to be out there.

Most of the others are just watching intently...Calluna is trying to lift the tiny illusion of the squid out of the moat.

“It’s your call” says the Professor “but if it was me I’d wait until all five teams had committed.”

Faith and Steel won't have problem with high power combatants, the got paladins and clerics to supply them with buffs. So for them we need Cleya, Phoebe and/or Calluna for Dispelling, at best Cleya since she can do it at-will.

Four eyestalks appear from your shoulders, two with eyes of fire, one that’s beautiful and appealing, and one that glares contemptuously at everything.

Then you say “Um, Professor, can I have the rod that controls the squid please?”

“Yeah professor” says Chame, still watching “can you give Cleya the R-mmmmph”

“Thank you Kittrane” you say, as she holds Chame effortlessly, her hand clamped over her mouth. The Professor gives you the rod. You take it and focus on the squid, on what you want it to do.

The squid moves lazily through the water. The member of Soaring Falcons reaches the top of the wall and ties the rope in place. At the same time one of his team mates casts a fireball spell, wiping out the skeletons near him. Before they can start climbing the rope however, the giant squids tentacles appear and wrap around the boat, dragging it under.

The members of Soaring Falcons surface soon after and are then locked in a battle with writing squid limbs. The one atop the wall seems frozen with indecision, before sliding down the rope to help them.

“Why not just get them all up the rope?” asks Calluna, still trying to pet the squid.

“You get points for beating things” you say “They’re trying to win”.

Raid Rush have made the top of the wall and are heading towards one of the outer towers in a tight group, smashing their ways past orcs and skeletons.

Faith and Steel suddenly run forwards towards the moat, but then rise into the air as if climbing up a slope, soon they’re on the walls and one of them raises a holy symbol. The nearby skeletons simply crumble into powder. Kittrane grunts and clenches and unclenches her fists.

Spellcraft Supremacy take a few steps forwards, then disappear.

“Nope” says Professor Sallazar. You see them appear in the water next to the Squid, looking very surprised.
>>
Finally, Right to Rule head forward. At the edge of the moat one takes out a horn and blows on it. The wall on the other side of the moat peels away in a wide strip and lays down, forming a perfect bridge into the first part of the castle through the hole created. Right to Rule head forwards cautiously. The arrows shot at them all peel off about ten feet away from them, flying off in random directions.

“That’s cheating!” complains Evrumine “Professor isn’t that cheating?”

“No” he says “just a very expensive magic item”

“Can we go now?” Nevyn asks you. You bite your lower lip indecisively. What to do, what to do.

I think we should send Nevyn together with Kittrane and Cleya to take care of Faith and Steel, since those seem to be the most dangerous. Chame can go and wreak some havoc on the Arcane and Falcons in the moat with her crossbow

Okay one possible idea here.

We send Evrumine, Calluna and Phoebe as planned over to Raid Rush, and a Team of Kittrane, Cleya, Nevyn and possibly Chame to intercept Faith and Steel, then the two teams can overwhelm those opponents with the minions, and meet up to crush Right to Rule.

“Sir can I have the other control rods?” you ask; making sure to shoot Chame a withering glare, Chame just gives you a smug smile.

With the control rods you order the skeletons to back away from Faith and Steel whilst getting the orcs in to fight them.

Faith and Steel set themselves for a long hard slog against the orcs now bunched ahead of them, but slowly they advance.

“Calluna, Evrumine and Pheobe” you say, pointing to Raid Rush “take them out.”

“Got it” says Evrumine, rushing out of the room.

“This’ll be fun” says Syphoebeus, heading after her.

“Take them out where?” asks Calluna, before adding “oh, right, yes” and heading after the other two.

You see their images on the map heading for Raid Rush.

Professor Sallazar casts a spell and you can hear their voices in your mind; and their unguarded thoughts.

-That one guy with the spear looked kinda cute- Evrumine –I wonder if we’ll have a reception after the game, but what if he doesn’t like me? What if I can’t work up the courage to talk to him? What if-

-This is going to be so much fun- Syphoebeus –But mustn’t act excited, gotta be the calm laid back one, gotta be chill, can’t ruin my image but a real fight! Eeeeeee!-

-Stone wall but the shapes all wrong, grass that doesn’t whisper, no eyes, where are the eyes? Mr Pogostus keep up!- Calluna –hungry, still so hungry need blood regular food not enough but must stay strong Headmaster said I don’t *need* it drain emotions life other things if I feed but slaves if I feed no that’s wrong never happened before master of what heads exactly? I want a giant squid as a pet shape is almost right hungry so hungry want blood-

-Telepathic link girls- you remind them. They all go silent.

-Uh, you’ll tell us if they move right?- sends Evrumine

-I will- you assure them. You watch the girls approach where Raid Rush is.
>>
Soaring Falcon and Spellcraft Supremacy are finally making headway against the squid, though two members of Spellcraft Supremacy have been removed by the officials for being *killed* by the squid due to being underwater for too long. They don’t look happy and are trying to argue the point. Hah, that’ll teach them, shows what *they* know about arcane theory stupid stuck up sexist nerds who think just because you’re a girl you don’t know anythi-. You try to relax and unclench your hands.

Raid Rush have taken one of the outer towers, but your girls will be there very soon.

Faith and Steel are advancing slowly and Right to Rule...

The noble team reach the inner wall and one blows that horn again, the wall again peels off and lays down, leaving a gaping hole for them to walk through. Still arrows of all sorts are simply turning aside when they get close.

Inside the inner courtyard however a mass of orcs charges forwards to meet them and Right to Rule are soon mixed up in a rough melee. They’ve made it much father than the other teams, but now they’re halted in their tracks.

But they could try that. In which case we would need to find a way to get into their back, either through a window or through stairs of the cleared out tower.
Maybe have them first fight in one of the towers and await them in the corridor? So Nevyn can come up the stairs in the tower once they engage?

Sallazar is only connected to Cleya via Telepathic Bond, not the others.

“Chame, Nevyn, Kittrane with me” you say “Sir would you keep me up to date about things happening?”

“Of course” says Professor Sallazar “Go, have fun, I’ll let you know what’s happening.”

He casts the telepathic bond spell again and soon he and you are connected, as are you with Kittrane, Nevyn and Chame.

Again you get that mess of random thoughts until you warn them.

-Gonna smack that smug stupid idiot through a wall- Kittrane –Cleya’s doing ok as leader too I can’t let her beat me gotta think smarter than her-

-Wish Phaysis were here she’d love this- Nevyn –Gonna be fun get to drop on people who won’t see me coming but I wish I was going after Soaring Falcon their cleric looked kinda cute-

-Wonder how I can embarrass Kittrane without it being obvious its me?- Chame –breeches pulled down? Nah too obvious. Trip one of the guys into her arms? Yeah that could work-

-Telepathic link- you remind them. There’s silence and then Kittrane sends –I knew that, I just wanted to lull you into a false sense of security- Of course she did.

Pheobe, Evrumine and Calluna reach Raid Rush just as they are exiting the tower and heading across the grass, in the open area between the two walls.

Syphoebeus and Evrumine just charge straight into them, slamming into their three frontline barbarians. Evrumine and her foe both go down, but she recovers first and charges again, knocking him to the ground.

Syphoebeus sends both of her foes flying, and as they scramble up she throws one back and into the wall with a powerful hammer strike. The other one circles her cautiously, waiting for his friend to recover.

Physically the two girls are dominating the fight, but their opponents are tough and not easily put down.
>>
Their spellcaster hangs back, focusing on Syphoebeus. However Calluna steps through a hole in the air near him and attacks, her sword flickering as she tries to get past his defences. He holds her off with his spear but isn’t casting any spells at least.

You order the warrior skeletons to impede Right to Rule and the archer skeletons to help the giant squid.

Soaring Falcons and Spellcraft Supremacy finally defeat the giant squid between them, but its tentacles and the arrows take a heavy toll. After beating the squid and clearing enough skeletons off the wall to climb up the rope, only a single member of each team make it. They appear to be making an uneasy alliance.

You and your girls meet up with a large group of orcs as you head out to meet Faith and Steel.

According to Professor Sallazar Faith and Steel and Right to Rule are both advancing, cutting their way past attackers, but progress is slow and they’re taking some damage, though none are out of the fight yet.

You issue your orders to the skeletons and orcs to head towards whichever of the invaders are closer.

As Syphoebeus, Evrumine and Calluna continue their fight you and the other girls head towards the tower that Faith and Steel are battling their way into.

At the same time Professor Sallazar keeps up his commentary.

-Well, looks like Spellcraft Supremacy just lost their last mem- oh and Soaring Falcons too, too bad- The Professor sends –Hmm, Right to Rule is doing something, but what I don’t know. They look like they’ve gone on the defensive, getting tired maybe?-

-Got mine!- Evrumine declares proudly –He’s out!-

-Got one too- sends Syphoebeus –But this last one keeps dodging ducking, come back here you little pipsqueak aaaaargh!-

-She’s ok!- send Evrumine –He just got her leg, I’m going in to help-

-Mr Pogostus! Nooooo!- you hear a wail from Calluna –you hurt my friend!- Then all you get is a confused mess of words and images.

-What’s going on?- You send to Evrumine.

-Her fish got hurt- She sends –So now she’s got all her extra arms wrapped around the guy and is trying to bite him to death I think. We’re down to just two here, and Calluna has one almost kissed to death-

You’d ask more but you’re focused on your own fight. You, Chame and Kittrane approach one door of the tower; from within you can hear fighting.

Nevyn transforms and them scrambles up the side of the tower, using all of her extra limbs to help her.

-Ok, I’m above them- She sends –Ready to go!-

-Let’s go!- you send. The three of you burst in, to see Faith and Steel battling their way past orcs.

The leader points a mace at Kittrane “Destroy the abomination!” he yells. That’s not very nice you think.

Chame quickly runs up a wall and fires a bolt down, sticking it into the leader, who looks angry about that.
>>
Kittrane bellows in anger and whilst covered in flame charges into them. Only to be met by both of the paladins; though the younger one seems hesitant about fighting her. Well he does look rather young, this is probably his first fight, and his first demon.

The rearmost cleric seems to be casting a spell, only for Nevyn to rear up behind him and tack him down in a flurry of claws and thrashing limbs. He’s out of the fight for sure.

Kittrane isn’t faring well against the paladins, both are using some sort of holy smite powers and now she’s down on one knee, barely conscious. Only the orcs pressing in around her distract the paladins from finishing her.

The lead cleric with the crossbow bolt in him raises his mace, you get ready to blast him, no way is he hurting Kittrane.

“I judge thee unworthy-” He starts to say, your eye starts to burn as you get ready to attack. Suddenly he pauses and says “What? Now? No! Fine, yes alright, double.” You pause, has he gone mad? The Paladins seem to know what’s going on and both get close to him, ah yes, an area spell with a safe zone in the middle.

Kittrane is shaking her head, then he pulls out a stone and starts to cast a spell. Ok, no, whatever he’s doing is bad. You open your third eye to block his spell. Mystical energies tangle in the air, almost, you’ve almost blocked it...

Suddenly he and the older paladin disappear, leaving a very surprised younger one alone.

“Hey!” he yells out “what about me?”

-Professor- You send –where did you send them?-

-I didn’t- he sends –apparently that’s not a spell that teleports them, just one that transforms them into air and makes them move very fast- You imagine him frowning in disapproval –but that’s divine magic for you: always cheating. Anyway, they’ve appeared next to Right to Rule and are making a mess of the skeletons-

-We need to get down there now!- You send to your allies.
>>
“Yeah, but what about him?” Chame asks, pointing down at the young paladin who is trying to fight a half-dozen orcs at once. Looks like he won’t last long. Kittrane is slowly getting up.

You and your allies race down towards ground level, and then towards the opening in the wall made by Right to Rule. Behind you the clash of steel, orcish grunts and yells of pain tell you the junior paladin is out of the fight.

-Meet us in the inner courtyard when you’re done- You send to the other group.

-Will do!- Responds Syphoebeus –Just as soon as we catch this slippery little- c’mere!-

-Calluna might be a while- sends Evrumine –She’s um...-

-Can you pull her off the guy and bring her?- you ask –We might need some healing, Kittrane is hurt-

-Oh its not that- sends Evrumine –She still thinks her fish is hurt worse than he is – she’s taking it to the moat to *help him feel better*-

-Ah, whatever!- You send in frustration –Just get here when you can-

You and the other girls run through the hole in the wall, just to see your adversaries engaging a mass of orcs and skeletons in front of the gate to the last gatehouse.

“What’s the plan?” asks Chame.

“Plan?” you say, “the plan is we get them!” You all rush forwards.

Right to Rule might be a bunch of snobs, but they react quickly to your charge. Soon Chame is fighting both their bards at once.

Nevyn is lashing out at one of their fighters, who is keeping her at bay with a longspear. If she can just get close to him she can finish it.

Kittrane tackles the last fighter as the skeletons and orcs surround the remains of Faith and Steel, keeping them back. Kittrane batters her opponent, driving him back and knocking him down, she’ll finish him soon. He raises his sword and shield, but it’s a futile effort.

You hear chanting and you keep your third eye open, blocking whatever the cleric and paladin were trying to do.

Chame has two rapiers stuck through her at once, but doesn’t seem bothered. In fact the bards fighting her are unable to pull their blades free. You can just image what she’s going to-
>>
“Two at once” she says with a grin “wait until I tell the others about this.”

Yeah, there she goes. She might not be beating them, but she’s keeping their ah, attention in her, um, on her- She’s taking everything they can- You curse your active imagination and think clearly: Chame is fighting both of them; you can deal with them later.

-We’ll get there soon- Evrumine sends.

Your foes are surrounded by your minions, but are not going down easily.

>>41435241
It's not that small at a 10ft radius. It would hit adjacent characters in melee.

We've done some pretty dumb things as intelligent characters before, don't rely on that.

Can't really remember that, but it might happen that Cleya accidently "forgets" about the holy portion.

Boredom
>>
As the cleric tries to cast another spell you manage to suppress it. At the same time a beam of sickly green energy hits the paladin in the chest as he hews down another skeleton. Suddenly he’s moving a lot slower and is barely able to defend himself against the skeletons around him.

Your burning eye blasts Kittranes foe in holy fire. You’re careful to avoid hitting Kittrane. She can take the heat, but the rest of the spell might hurt her. He goes down, Kittrane looks for someone else to fight.

You also lash out at Nevyns opponent, imposing an unnatural fear on him. He grimaces and shakes his head, fighting off your spell. It’s enough of a distraction for Nevyn though; she pounces on him and finishes it.

Chame keeps the bards swords held in her; you focus, mustn’t think like her. Chame is stopping the bards from getting away, stretching and bending as they pull in opposite directions.

Syphoebeus and Evrumine arrive and quickly beat down both of the bards; ah this fight is almost over.

However it seems the cleric has taking a disliking to you. He comes rushing out of the mass of skeletons and swings his mace at your head. Quick dodge must dodge gotta d-

Everything is fuzzy and your head hurts. But at least the grass is soft and tickly on your face. No wait, what’s going on again?

You look up to see the cleric standing over you, only he’s not bashing you with his mace, he’s taking a pouch of red dust out and emptying it onto you. what?

The red dust suddenly piles up as if you’re lying under a sheet of glass. You can see the tell-tale shimmer of a wall of force protecting you.

-Mages Poison is against the rules- you hear a very grumpy Professor Sallazar send –Girls, finish this and then I’m dragging that little idiot in front of the judges.-

Raising your head you look around. Only the cleric and a weakened paladin are still fighting.
>>
What do you do?

Case in point, Cleya could have just floated up right now to evade this guy.

It's a good thing that Eyestalks are spellike abilities and not spells, eh?

Charm Person.

Writing update, will be last one today.

There is no miniquest planned today alas.

I shall do a mini quest.

You are searching for thing
You have found thing
End

Thank you for participating.

>>41435727
10/10
would quest with again.
>>
>>41435727
Eh, at least better than most quests.
>>
-Get them!- You send fuzzily you your friends.

They all rush in. The paladin goes down first, too weak to put up much of a fight. As you clamber to your feet you get a good look at the cleric as he fights Evrumine, Syphoebeus and Kittrane three on one. He puts up a good fight for a few seconds, before being swarmed.

With that, its fight over.

“Well done everyone” you say, shaking your head “you all did great!”

“Yeah, yeah we did didn’t we” says Evrumine.

“Well it was kinda fun, I guess” says Syphoebeus, affecting an air of indifference.

“I need protection against holy powers” says a beaten-looking Kittrane, rotating her arms “ouch.”

-Mr Pogostus is ok!- Send Calluna –But he needs an upgrade; I’ve tried merging him with the giant squid but its not working.- Oh joy, a giant flying squid, just what you don’t need....

Nevyn transforms back int her humanoid shape “that was fun” she says, licking on hand and using it to wipe her ear “I think I’m getting the hang of this adventurer thing.”

-Don’t let them get away- send Professor Sallazar –I’m on my way with the judges-

You look at the groaning paladin and priest, yeah not much chance they’ll get away.

“My outfit is ruined” complains Chame, looking down at her outfit which has several rapier-sized holes poked in it.

Nevyn gives her a grin “Well Chame” she says “maybe you should try to be a bit less penetrabl-”

---

Thank you for playing, next thread is in 20 hours.

For your actions today you have gained 4XP and the club has gained 10XP, how much of that is from todays miniquest I’m not saying.

I hope you had fun today and I welcome feedback and criticism, suggestions for improvements and requests for different content.

Thanks for running!
>>
>>41435954
Thanks for running, the castle defense was fun.

Were they supposed to be defeated(IC) or are our girls just so OP?
>>
>>41435954
Thanks for running.
>>
>>41436023
OP girls, plus underestimated by assholes.

Plus the *smart* party and the wizards got taken out early by giant squid.
>>
>>41436135
I bet the Wizard are going to be cussed out for being lazy and the "smart" party is going to be running through a lot of battle practice for their lack of common sense aren't they?

Will all the Dave assignments be this easy?
>>
>>41436135
Phoebe and to a lesser extent Cleya, are OP as hell
>>
>>41435954
Thanks for the thread.

>>41435954
>and requests for different content
I'm just glad we got around to a (sort-of)dungeon run again. I feel like those are a bit too rare.

Even if I'm suspecting I see a pattern I'm not going to like...

>>41436135
>Plus the *smart* party
They got in a fight with a giant squid, in water.
If those are what counts as "smart" party, then we got this championship already in the bag.
>>
>>41436173
>>Will all the Dave assignments be this easy?

Until your foes learn to take your seriously, yes.

>>41436210
>Pattern

Hmm?
>>
>>41436251
Are we going to have another in-house dungeon next for our newbies?

And you didn't get around to answering my question on the ask. how we would we go about getting specific items made in the general "equip the teams" rotiation?
Specifically those "evil" themed items that had been dumped from the BoVD. Or whatever else anons come up with until then.
>>
>>41436251
>Until your foes learn to take your seriously, yes.

About how long will it take their common sense to kick in then? I mean on the face of it they're stupidly OP. Beholder, Minotaur, Balor, Mimic, Displacer Beast and tiatn soulborn, plus whatever the hell Calluna is.

I'd take one look at that line up and start dropping bombs hard.
>>
>>41436301
Apologies

Answered now and copying.

If anons want something specific in the mass production list then they need to vote for it.
Otherwise I'll pick whatever Sallazar thinks is appropriate from the suggestions given.

>>41436318
>About how long will it take their common sense to kick in then?

When they stop thinking with some combination of: their dicks, their noble rights, their arcane superiority, their religious prejudices etc.
>>
Salazar, 12/18 XP spent, 6 remaining
>Rapid Spell Mantle, -12 XP

This is what's happening.
>>
>>41436466
Nah, Rapid Teleport happens first.
>>
>>41436434
>their religious prejudices
I can see the rest making them take it easy, but this one I can't. Wouldn't that make them come down Harder?

>>41436466
Good idea.
>>
>>41436501
>Wouldn't that make them come down Harder?

It would but....

>Soulborn are mixed freaks below pure mortal races, at the mercy of their inhuman natures. They are incapable of overriding their baser natures

And

>God is on our side, so of course we will win.

Harder yes, smarter not so much.
>>
>>41436588
>Soulborn are mixed freaks below pure mortal races, at the mercy of their inhuman natures. They are incapable of overriding their baser natures
Didn't a bunch of nobles try to marry Janrael into their families, which is why she is at Egwens to begin with?
Is that a regional difference?
>>
>>41436609
Ah well, Angelic Soulborn are different....

Not all nobles hate soulborn, and even those that do hate them are not always consistent in their views, depending upon what type they are.
>>
>>41436609
She's also you know, an angel.
>>
>>41436655
>She's also you know, an angel.
Considering the whole divine punishment bit happened 'because' people like Janraels parent enslaved angels like that, it stands to reason it would be worse with them, not better.
>>
>>41436655
Angel Soulborn. Big difference.

>>41436588
So basically it'll be piss easy until we pass the junior leagues? (or run into another one of our old dungeoneer buddies who's a coach now like us.)
>>
>>41436695
She's also gorgeous, has a beautiful voice, and is literally semi divine. People will drop a lot of prejudice for that methinks.
>>
>>41436734
>She's also gorgeous, has a beautiful voice,
Thats true for a lot of them

>and is literally semi divine.
No, only semi-celestial. Thats a different thing.
>>
>>41436708
>So basically it'll be piss easy until we pass the junior leagues?

Well also today you were on the villains team, so you had:

- Perfect overview of the battlefield, and inspected it prior to the match

- Hundreds of minions

- Giant Squid

Not every match will be this easy, no.
>>
>>41436774
Well I figured that much. I meant the Dave missions where we're the bad guys.
>>
>>41436826
Oh those will generally be easy mode, yes.

They don't get your team any points though.

They're more for experience and practise than actual competition.
>>
OH PALLY! what exactly does mages poison do?
