You are Jareth, Disciple of Elshhu, Goddess of the Beauteous Form and rookie adventurer. You do wonder how many adventures it takes to stop being considered a rookie, especially considering that you've probably got more power than most of your peers with a lot more dungeon crawls under their belt. Not that being the strongest ever held a great deal of appeal to you, you'll leave that to more hotblooded and single-minded individuals.

Right now, you are in a tomb, that old adventuring classic, to loot the belongings of some dead royal astronomer. Of course it has since turned out that said royal astronomer was also something of a secret amateur necromancer, and has of course spent the past few thousand years sitting around in his tomb doing... gods only knows what, you can't imagine there's much fun to be had down here.

Of course you have yet to meet Rohtan himself, instead you have been hassled by his pet undead monster/fallen god Stone-Swimmer, which you are thankful no longer has the powers to back up its reputation. After an unfortunate situation where you and Razi got cut off from the rest of the group after Stone-Swimmer sealed a doorway, you have been reunited through the rather blunt method of your sister smashing a hole through the stone. Poor Rihara looks a bit worn out from the experience, so you doubt she'll be pulling off anything too high powered for the rest of this jaunt without a few hours to meditate.

“So what now, keep going, or jump back through that hole and follow the route Rohtan wanted you two to go down?” Iden asks.

“You mean the route that's probably a trap?” his sister frowns.

“A trap for you two, not for all five of us.”

“U-um, I don't mind, but sending all five of us through is going to use up a lot of mana,” Valia mumbles from the back of the group, wringing her hands.

Assuming that the demon we talked with didn't tell us how to find Rohtan/what path to take
>follow Rohtan's route

>both Rihara and Valia will be down on mana
This is why I said we should've helped our sis break down the wall and talk to them before Valia teleported us across, both of them take longer to recharge than us.
How much mana do we have, Lordy?

>>
>>41451136
So you don't give a fuck about the other heavy hitter and utility mage in our party who are drained?
>>
>>41451085
Look man, opportunities to get a foot in the door buttering up Razi have been few and far between, who knows when we would have gotten the next one if we hadn't taken this one. Yes, there was a cost, and it might not be the choice you wanted, but stop acting like there was no reasoning.
>>
>>41451144
I do give a shit, hence why I expressed my regret at not taking the smart approach to this thing and minimizing their mana expenditure.
But we the route the SS opened up is our only hint at where Rohdan can be found, and our companion's mana won't recharge just from walking around and looting rooms, they need to actually meditate.
>>41451155
>but stop acting like there was no reasoning
I wasn't acting like that, I expressed my opinion on our past choices, that the costs of said choices outweigh their benefits.

A bit ridiculous
>>41451284
It wasn't much earlier than usual, there have been earlier sessions before.

>>
>>41451305

>>
Think that bookkeeper demon would let us rest up in his room and meditate?
>>
“Rohtan's not going anywhere, we can wait to jump through the hole, we might even find another way around,” you shrug.

The rest of the group seem to be pleased enough with your decision, so the group of you carry on down the corridor, checking out the small side rooms as you go. No more ambushes come, perhaps Stone-Swimmer used up too much mana to try that trick again, or perhaps Rohtan is simply biding his time.

“So, uh, how long is that going to stay like that?” Iden asks, giving a nervous swallow as he glances down at your still quite prominent tent.

“Who knows, unless someone wants to do something about it, it's going to be a little while yet,” you smile, raising your arms above your head to stretch out your stiff muscles from all that time sat around, and coincidentally make the bulge even more noticeable as you do so.

“Do you have to be waving that thing around in here, it's distracting,” Rihara grumbles, as you take a moment to let them get a good long look.

“No-one's forcing you to look Rihara, and I'm not going to be ashamed of a perfectly natural bodily reaction.”

You suppose it is a little distracting, Valia in particular seems to be having trouble shifting her gaze, like a rabbit before a deadly snake, bless her. Rihara and Iden are at least having the decency to be a little more subtle in their glances, and Razi seems to be making a pointed effort to look everywhere except at you. Still, by the time you've finished looking through a few more servant quarters, the elephant in the room has returned to its slumber, leaving only red faces and awkward glances in its wake.

>>
>>41451506
“Alright, I think that's the last of them, so what did we get?”

“I got some jewellery, and some sort of silver puzzlebox,” Rihara replies, holding up a tarnished cube with all manner of strange bars and cubes built in.

“I- um, I found these,” Valia goes next, more jewellery, and some miniature statues of a fox-headed man in various poses with various weapons, are these ancient collectables or something?

“I didn't find much, sorry,” Iden sighs, a bit more jewellery, and a few old Neburian coins.

Razi goes last, holding up her sole prize from the looting, a mummified cat.

“We were looking for this, right?”

“Well, we don't know if that's his cat, that could be anyone's cat,” Iden frowns.

“Do you think our employer will know the difference?”

“We don't know the difference, so let's take it, and hope we don't find a room filled with cats,” you shrug, showing the group your own pile of treasures.

Leaving the side rooms behind you, you follow the tunnel even further, which twists and turns in all manner of directions. You must be a long way away from where you went in by now, all seems a bit pointless really, building it this large. At long last, you step out into a chamber, a doorway to the left and right of you halfway along the walls.

(cont)
>>
The guy has been dead for hundreds of years, im sure he can wait a bit while we tear down the wall the hard way rather than using our magics
>>
>>41451514
The chamber is suitably grand, two great stone statues holding up a bronze plaque of impressive size, no way you're getting that out of here. It looks like a map of the constellations, you'd guess, though you're no astronomer yourself.

“Wait, is THAT the bronze star map we were told to get, how are we going to get that out of here?” Rihara groans, slapping her face in her palm.

“Um, actually, I- I think there's a smaller map built into the centre there, see, it probably comes out,” Valia replies, pointing to the middle of the larger map, looks like Valia might be on to something, there does seem to be an inset rectangle at the map's centre.

“Do you think there's a mechanism to remove it?”

“It might just be built in.”

“Look for a mechanism to remove it, and watch out for traps, we haven't seen any yet, but this place has to have some.”

The group splits up to check out the room, none going too far, worried as much about Stone-Swimmer returning as anything else. You don't think thievery is for you, you have to admit, quickly growing bored as you prod and poke at every irregular-looking brick and ridge on the stonework, eyes open for inconsistencies.

“W-wait, I think I found something,” Valia calls, gesturing for you all to come over.

You walk to where she stands in front of a stone with some sort of carvings in it, looking like a bird standing over some sort of large monster or animal or something.

“It's, um, it's a reference to the sun god of the neburian empire, saying... um... 'those who stand before the heavens and bask in His brilliance will receive their righteous reward' I think.”

“That's not really a mechanism though, is it?”

“I- I think there's a clue in it though, maybe.”

“You sure about that?” Iden asks, glancing up at the plaque.

“So you think we have to stand in front of this thing and do... something?”

“I don't get it,” Rihara frowns, the five of you stood before the plaque, looking up at it.

“Is it just my imagination, or is this plaque brighter than it was when we came in?” Iden asks.

“Brighter?”

“Yeah, I swear it didn't glow this much when we got here.”

(cont)
>>
>>41451844
Now that he mentions it, it does seem a lot shinier than you remember, and it's getting kind of warm in here too. Really warm, and shiny, and... ah fuck.

The plaque pulses with a golden glow, a wave of heat rolling off of it as motes of light play across its surface, you're sure the rest of them can all feel it too, the mana boiling up within the bronze, reaching a bursting point. You need to move, right now. You probably have time to grab one person before this thing unleashes all that energy building inside.

They both seem to be in decent physical condition and have some combat experience. Neither of them would stand up to a straight fight with Jareth, that's for sure, but they know what they're doing.

Also, aside from skeletons Razi can toughen a person's body, it makes you feel kind of numb and weird, but it does the job. You're not sure it's hardy enough to withstand a powerful burst of pure magical energy though.

“Rihara, take Razi,” you shout, a pulse of mana arcing down your legs as you seize your other two comrades, the stonework cracking under your toes as you push off the ground.

You feel a wave of heat hit you from behind as you hit the ground behind one of the pillars, a brilliant flash swallowing up your vision as a massive beam of light blazes down the centre of the room.

You blink the spots from your eyes, the heat fading.

“Rihara, Razi, you okay over there?”

“Yeah, we're okay,” your sister calls back.

“Thank you, now move your hands,” Razi's voice hisses a moment later. Seems the two of them are fine then.

You allow yourself a smile, not only did everyone avoid it, but they got out alive and uninjured. You're a little scratched from where you hit the stone, but it's no big deal, especially since as a result of that you are in a rather comfortable position.

“This is cosy, huh?” you grin, one arm around Valia, one around Iden, as the two lie atop you, having turned yourself to cushion their falls.

“Jareth, that was... you were... you were so fast, it was amazing,” Valia gasps, shifting a little to look up at you, which has the added benefit of dragging her breasts across your chest.

“You are definitely no rookie adventurer, that was crazy,” Iden frowns, his pale skin a stark contrast to the bright red of his cheeks.

“Yeah, I'm pretty great alright,” you agree, lying back on the stonework.

“So, uh, how long are we going to stay like this?”

“Shh, shh, enjoy the moment,” you reply, squeezing the two a little tighter, Valia's plump softness and Iden's lithe figure making for an interesting contrast. Neither make any move to wriggle free, you suppose they must still be awed by your brilliance.

Still, you can't stay here forever, if Valia turns much redder she's going to melt, and Iden seems to be muttering mathematical formulae under his breath as he stares intently at the stonework over your shoulder in a way that's getting a little repetitive.

You let the two up, hopping to your feet, finding Razi and Rihara stood over by the plaque once more.

“So, it just kind of popped out, I guess that was the puzzle, just don't die, or something,” Rihara shrugs, holding up the smaller star map.

“Looks like we've got two of the three extra items, and we know where the third is, all that's left is Rohtan's funerary mask,” you reply.

Well, looks like you have a choice now, left or right, you have no idea where either of them go, and Seffi still seems reluctant to scout too far ahead with the Stone-Swimmer around, so time for some blind luck, you suppose.

“Alright, let's keep going, can't be much of this place to go.”

You gesture for the group to follow as you start off down the right hand corridor. It's larger, more grand than the corridor from before, the walls carved with all manner of intricate designs. You must be getting somewhere now.

“Um, guys, I think we're getting close,” Seffi pipes up, the ghost still drifting just overhead.

“You can feel Stone-Swimmer?”

“Yeah, he's definitely not far.”

“So what's the plan, do we have a plan?” Rihara asks, glancing over at you.

“Stone-Swimmer is being controlled by Rohtan, we kill Rohtan, Stone-Swimmer stops moving,” Razi comments.

“Yeah, that's basic necromancy stuff. Stone-Swimmer, even with low mana, is going to be really dangerous, we should focus on finding and bringing down Rohtan,” Iden agrees.

“Okay, let's do this, stay alert, remember that Stone-Swimmer can come from anywhere, and if you get a shot at Rohtan, take it,” you nod.

The group steps out of the corridor into another overly grandiose room, gaudy you might go so far as to say, lit by the flickering glow of some large bluish-green crystal hanging from a chain in the centre of the room. A central walkway leads up to a set of stairs, held above a pit by a series of pillars. Balanced to either side of the walkway are smaller platforms, each held atop a single pillar, holding a single sarcophagus.

(cont)
>>
>>41452899
Beyond the stairs however lies your prize, sat on the edge of his heavy, gold-edged sarcophagus, is a figure who can only be Rohtan. Looks like you can see the funerary mask too, since he's wearing it, a leering thing of gold and silver, with rubies for eyes. The mask shifts as he looks down at your group.

“So these are the tomb robbers, bah, low-born filth, I will not stand for you tracking your dirt through my halls.”

“Wow, that's really terrible,” Iden mumbles.

“...what was that, what's terrible?” Rohtan snaps, hopping up, his voice breaking, seems the dead astrologer is not the most calm of men.

“He means your method of reanimation, what a horrible patch job, it makes me sick just looking at it,” Razi sniffs, folding her arms.

“Shut up, it's great, it's innovative, no-one's ever done it this way before.”

“For obvious reasons, imbecile.”

Well, Rohtan is distracted, poor guy looks ready to start stamping his feet and crying any moment now, if it wasn't for the fact that he probably has no tear ducts. If you have a plan, looks like you get to make the first move.

Have Rihara and us go a few feet away from the others, Valia portals Rohan between Rihara and Jareth, we attack, the twins do their necromancy stuff, maybe take control of the things in the sarcophagi?
Or we could have the twins distract him while Valia portals us behind him, we attack, rihara starts going up the stairs, Valia making sure she doesn't fall to her death, he twins doing their necromancy magic whatever.
>>

>Can the twins mess with his body or his control over the StoneSwimmer?
You don't recall them telling you they could do that, so probably not.

Razi could, yes.

Yes.

Iden's ghosts can possess objects, right? Can a sarcophagus thing be possessed? Maybe throw Rohtan off where he's sitting? Maybe Have the others be possessed and drop one on him if he's on the ground?
>>
>>41453171
Yes, Iden's ghosts can possess objects. I should remind you that the other sarcophagi are all held up on pillars and separate from the main walkway.
>>
>>41453167

Valia portals him directly between us and Rihara, commence sibling beatdown.

Razi continues to toss her flavorful brand of criticism at Rotan.

Iden preps ghosts to possess anything that Rohtan tries to reanimate and send at us.
>>
Okay, so looks like there's a few things to be voted on.

Jareth is attacking, that seems to be a pretty universal thing.

Rihara:
>Joining the attack
>Standing guard over the squishier party members

Valia

>Portals Rohtan to Jareth (and possibly Rihara)

Iden

Can you imagine how spooky that would be for Rohtan? Guy's been down here for millenia, he has no idea how far necromancy has come.

Even if he was a famed necromancer in his time (I'm thinking he wasn't), we're talking about the equivalent of showing Benjamin Franklin a Tesla Coil.

Limited movement, for example, flipping the lid off of it. The lid Rohtan is currently sitting on.

thats not really possession, more telekinesis of blunt objects

>>
>>41453368
That is how possession of objects works in this setting however. With something lighter than a big stone sarcophagus, Seffi could even change its shape to a degree, making chairs run around on their legs and such.
>>
>>41453368
It's possession because the ghost needs to possess the object to do it.
>>
>>41453333

Is it possible to flirt with Rohtan before shit goes down? I feel like that would distract him a bit.
>>
>>41453386
See now if you had said Iden tells Seffi to possess and manipulate the sarcophagus, that would make sense, instead you just had "Iden possess the box" which made no fucking sense.
>>
>>41453429

Is Elshhu down with necrophilia? I mean, incestuous overtones are one thing, fucking long-dead Nerubian necromancers is very much another.

>>41453448

Iden controls Steffi who controls the sarcophagus.

You're getting awfully salty about simple semantics, anon. And you seem to be the only one in the thread who didn't get what Warlord was trying to say.
>>
“Iden, you and Seffi keep an eye out, if he tries to pull anything, you lock it down,” you whisper to the necromancer, as his sister continues her tirade next to him.

“...you're not even embalmed properly, did you mess with the process there too? You just made yourself rot slowly, after thousands of years the least you could do is have the decency to have stopped stinking like rotten meat.”

“Valia, on my signal, portal Rihara and me to Rohtan.”

“R-right,” she squeaks.

“You ready, Rihara?”

“No problem, let's get this done and go get paid,” your sister grins.

You give a slight nod to Valia, and once more feel that strange sensation of vertigo that accompanies dropping through one of her portals.

You find yourself at the edge of the raised platform, Rohtan well within reach, the reanimated man giving a confused “whu?” as you and your sister spring from the air on either side of him.

“You think your petty tricks can equal my sk-” Rohtan starts, raising his arms towards the pair of you, dark blue energy oozing up around his fingertips.

Whatever he was planning though, he doesn't have time to finish his sentence, let alone his magic, before you and Rihara strike.

You hammer your heel into the side of his neck, hearing bones splinter under the impact, Rohtan twisting at an angle that you doubt is healthy, even for a walking corpse. He tumbles off of the sarcophagus in two parts, one arm bouncing away and dropping down into the pit, severed cleanly at the shoulder, Rihara holding a long dagger in one hand, the blade crackling with golden energy.

“My neck,” Rohtan cries, head flopping to one side as he scrabbles to find his feet, collapsing as he tries to use his now missing arm to prop himself up.

“...and my arm. Stone-Swimmer, help!” he shrieks, putting his good hand to the ground and unleashing a pulse of mana, forcing Rihara and yourself to use the sarcophagus for cover as bolts of energy spark off in all directions.

“It's coming, Jareth watch out,” Seffi cries, and you look down just in time to see the stone beneath you starting to bulge and deform.

After Stone-Swimmer's past few appearances, this is hardly anything new, twist to the side as his claws erupt from the stonework, grasping at air as you duck and weave between the false god's lanky, flailing arms.

“You really are a one-trick pony aren't you,” you smirk, jumping over a low swing and planting a foot on Stone-swimmer's face, using it to kick off from as you bound away across the platform, Stone-Swimmer pausing with a look of puzzlement across his dessicated features, as if the old corpse monster is having trouble understanding what just happened.

“Don't step on my servant, have you no respect,” Rohtan shrieks, voice once again raising a pitch as it cracks.

The necromancer is so focused on berating you, his fingers throbbing with mana, that he doesn't even notice as the heavy stone lid flips off his sarcophagus, disappearing into the ether. He notices it a few moments later though, when it blinks back into reality, hitting the befuddled necromancer square in his chest with a crunch.

He drops to the ground, a confused “huh?” all he manages to get out as the lid reduces his torso to mush between it and the stone floor. The mana around his fingers fades away into wisps of wasted magic, the power leaking from his body as it struggles to cling to unlife despite the damage done.

Stone-Swimmer makes a throaty croaking sound, the beast's claws twitching and convulsing, then its body starts to crumble, and soon all that's left of the false god is a pile of pale grey ash.

“Nice one,” Rihara grins, glancing over at Razi and Valia, both of whom look rather embarrassed by the attention.

Looks like you won.

“Wow, that, that worked really well, we really are a great team,” Valia chirps, hands clapping together.

Razi scowls, you get the feeling she's not to happy about not having an active role in this fight.

“Come on, let's just get his stuff and get out of here, I could really use a rest,” Iden sighs.

“Agreed, get to looting,” you nod, gesturing for the to start picking through the stuff, the group passing you as you walk back, pausing at the bottom of the stairs as Razi reaches them.

“Nice work, Razi.”

The pale girl turns to you with a sour look, which you'd expected.

“I don't need your condescending praise, just because we kissed,” she mutters, moving to step past you.

“You've got quite a tongue on you, poor Rohtan didn't know how to react.”

“I was just telling him what I thought.”

“There's more to fighting than just hitting people, you know. Whether you meant to or not, you distracted him, messed with his head, and because of that we had time to strike,” you shrug, Razi pausing to look back at you.

“You can stop now, I'm already over it.”

“Great,” you grin, putting an arm around Razi's shoulder, “I hope I get the chance to see that talented tongue in action again someday.”

“Perhaps, we'll see,” Razi replies, letting your arm around her linger for a few moments longer before she removes it, hip pointedly brushing against your crotch as she steps away.

>>41455486
Well, she seems as cheerful as she ever does, which is to say that she is now browbeating her poor brother about something, so you suppose you can call that peptalk a success. With that done, you turn your attention to other important matters, namely looting. You wind up having to gather most of the loot from the surrounding sarcophagi, balanced as they are over the ominous pit, you doubt most of your party members could reach them as easily as you can, save perhaps Rihara, if your sister hadn't already burned through most of her mana.

When you're done, you have quite the little pile of loot, yet more jewellery to go into the jewellery sack, gemstones, golden ornaments, even some shiny, curved sword, which both Iden and Razi are eyeing noticeably. Of course most important of all is the funerary mask, which thanks to Valia's careful aiming did not wind up getting crushed under a heavy block of stone, peeling it from Rohtan's mouldering and sticky face is far from the most pleasant experience of your life, but what can you do.

“Good work today everyone, another successful adventure, no injuries, and a big bag of loot. I'd say we've all earned some group fun,” you grin.

“F-fun? Um, J-jareth, I'm not sure I'm ready to take part in an org-” Valia squeaks, turning a bright shade of red.

“That's not what he's talking about, at last I hope it's not,” Razi frowns, cutting the sorceress off.

“Hey now, let's not take anything off the cards for later, but right now...”

>Somewhat related, will Valia need to just study more to get better, or can she progress more naturally by getting more familiar with her magic? Can she think up training exercisess for her, like gradually easing her into opening portals without needing to see where she's opening it?
Your characters will just improve over time naturally, any training they're doing is going to be done while they're "off-camera", as it were.

>employer
Wish the demon a fond farewell.
Actually, wouldn't he be gone, now? I thought he was only bound so long as Rohtan was 'alive'?
>>
>>41455577
He did seem quite annoyed by Rohtan's shenanigans, maybe he could do us a favor in return for having killed him?
>>41455623
We didn't defeat a god, the stone swimmer likely would have beaten us, and the demon is likely stronger, since he managed to fend him off repeatedly in the past.
>>41455496
>>Let's go back to our employer and get paid, forget the telescope
But look through other roomss before.
>>
>>41455618
>>41455644
That's what I recall too, we should at least swing by and check if he's there or not or let him know Rohtan is dead dead.
>>
>>41455621
>Would defeating the demon send it back to its home plane, or kill it?
Demons don't survive being 'killed' as you understand it, their energy is absorbed back into the demon lord that spawned them. They only survive insofar as that a new demon created using that energy may have some of their former life's memories.
>>
>>41455496
>>Let's go back to our employer and get paid, forget the telescope
The party is low on mana, and the demon mopped the floor with the Stone Swimmer several times before.
We're not equipped to deal with the demon in combat right now, at most just drop in to say hi, and check the other rooms.
>>
>>41455644
I'm feeling shades of Ur, here... what with "we beat a god we can do this"

thats what I vaguely remember from the last thread
>>

Especially since we explicitly did NOT defeat the Stone Swimmer, who was NOT a god, was NOT at full power, and was WEAKER than the bookkeeper demon anyway.

We should at minimum let him know Rohtan is dead and the SS won't be bothering him anymore, if anything just to give him that info to make him owe us one in the future.
>>
>>41455748
Ah. Let's nope back to the employer, then.
>>
Okay, looks like you're heading back.

I will save you some time on the other room and let you swing by there on the way, since the left hand path just led to a room with some more loot in it.

I need to step out for a bit though, so next post will be in around an hour or so.
>>
>>41455787
we should *tell him* about the stone-swimmer! He didn't know about it being alive.
>>
>>41455859

>>
>>41455955
The employer. He's plenty interested in old neburia, why not tell him we actually defeated their god, play it up a bit, get some extra danger pay, you get me?
>>
Okay, back and writing.

I like Razzle's attitude.

“...let's go back to our employer and get paid. I don't know about all of you, but I'm not really in the mood for another fight right now.”

“Agreed, this has been fun and all, but I want to go spend some of this new gold,” Rihara grins, slapping you on the shoulder.

The group of you stop off down the left hand path first, finding a room full of tomes and astrological instruments. They mean nothing to you, but judging by how excited Valia and Iden get you can only assume that they're valuable.

“You're back,” the demon comments, looking up from his book as you enter.

“We got what we came for, so we're about done here,” you reply, holding up the mask.

“Hmm, so Rohtan and his pet are gone. Good, without having to exhaust my mana driving them away I can cut at least three hundred years off of my escape.”

“So wait, Rohtan didn't bind you here?” Iden asks.

“Rohtan couldn't have bound an imp, let alone me. No, I was bound here by the court sorcerer, sadly Rohtan's final death changes nothing in regards to my contract, since the royal sorcerer had no idea Rohtan was going to arise as undead in the first place.”

“Oh well. Good luck with getting loose, I guess,” you shrug.

The demon gives a nod, tapping the spine of the book against his knee and, maybe looking at you, it's hard to say given his skeletal head.

“Good luck to you too, human, there's interesting times to come in this city of yours.”

You think you caught a twinge of excitement in the demon's calm, low voice. You are fairly certain that is not a good thing.

“What's that supposed to mean?” Rihara asks.

“I couldn't say, but if there's one thing I know, it's the taste of chaos and upheaval in the air. I will be looking forward to it.”

“Okay, well that got creepy fast, let's go,” Iden sighs.

The demon nods to you, returning to his book as your group passes him by. Before too long, you find yourself out of the tomb and back in the brothel basement, the ominous silence giving way to voices, laughter and moans echoing down the stairs. Stepping out into the hallway, you quickly find yourself face to chest with the troll madame, Gunrelda, the burly trollish woman looking down at you with surprise.

“You made it back, I was starting to worry,” she rumbles, giving you a bone-rattling pat on the shoulder.

“Rest assured, that was well within out abilities,” you smirk.

“Good, so it's all safe down there now?”

“More or less, nothing's going to come out of there, but you should still probably brick it back up again, to stop anyone wandering in,” you reply, the troll madame nodding slowly.

“Of course, my clientèle isn't so strange that having access to a tomb would be a big draw,” she snorts, putting a hand on your shoulder and leading you back out into the main room, which is as lively as you remember, looks like business never stops at the Curious Troll.

“You've done fine work for me, I couldn't abide the thought of any of my staff getting hurt by some beast crawling up out of a tomb. I'm sure Quinter has arranged payment for you, but I am more than willing to offer any of you the services of my brothel, a one time offer, anyone you want, on the house of course, so don't be shy.”

“Anyone I want?”

“Anyone... Well, except for the clients, obviously, unless they agree I suppose.”

“I- I don't think I'm, um, I'm going to just go with Razi,” Valia mumbles, bright crimson.

“You sure, there's some pretty girls here?”

“I... I'm not really sure I want to, at a brothel for my fir- uh, no nevermind, no offence to you or your girls, ms Gunrelda.”

“Aren't you just the sweetest little thing, don't feel like I'm forcing you, why not just stay for a drink, talk to the girls, and see if you feel like it,” the madam smiles, beaming a toothy smile down at Iden.

The young necromancer glances from Gunrelda to you, and you give him a thumbs up.

“Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt...”

“H-have fun you three, um, doing... doing what you're going to do,” Valia calls, waving as she and Razi head out through the front door.

“So, what say I get you three some drinks and let you look around, every man and woman working here is healthy, happy and well-paid, so don't you worry for a second about anything like that,” Gunrelda smiles, wrapping her arms around all three of you as she leads you over to a bar off to one side of one of the downstairs areas, gesturing for the barmaid to bring some drinks.

“So, look around, tell me if you see anything you like,” she smiles, as three fruity looking drinks in thin glasses are deposited in front of your trio.

Honestly there's so much choice you don't know how to even decide, women of all races and colours, from young women no older than Iden up to more experienced ones most likely into their thirties or forties. It's quite a selection.

“Ooh, I like that one... no, wait, that one, hmm, but then look at the rack on that one, damn, how'd you get so many pretty girls working in here,” Rihara chuckles, that lecherous look in her eye once more as she scopes out the working girls.

“It's affluent here, but there's a lot of hard areas not far from this street, a lot of my staff could've ended up doing the same work in far worse conditions for gangs or unlicensed pimps, I look after them here, and everyone knows it. Aside from that, we get the usual, the ones who just love sex, the ones who do it for religious reasons, all that sort of thing.”

Iden seems to be paralyzed with indecision, eyes darting from one girl to the next, then to you, then back to the girls, then to the door, finger rubbing nervously at the rim of his glass.

“Relax Iden, I'll stick with you, so pick out a girl you like, I'll pick out one I like, and we'll go have some fun, no pressure,” you grin, patting him on the shoulder as Iden nervously gulps down most of his drink in one.

“Right, yeah, no pressure,” Iden nods, looking a little relieved that he's not having to go it alone, or a little something anyway.

So the question now is who to pick. You can see plenty of interesting possibilities. Plenty of humans, of course, redheads, blondes, you spot a Snow Country woman at the back too, with those slanted eyes and dusky skin, and some darker women from somewhere to the south. Beyond that, there's elves, light skinned sun elves, tanned, leafy-haired forest elves, and even a couple of dark elves, you've got dwarf women, hobbit women, a couple of orc women, heck even a couple of trollkin and trolls... and of course there's men fitting all the same categories, if you're more in the mood for that.

Besides that, there is one other option, while like all troll women, her facial features may be a little on the rough and brutish side, there's no denying that madame Gunrelda fills out that tight little dress nicely, and she did say anyone...

>>41459485
Depends.
I wonder who he picks tbh, probably some human or elf, right?
>>
inb4 Iden gets worked up enough to try giving his first blowjob.
>>
>>41459504
suddenly he goes for an orc.
>>

There's no way we won't have to finish her off, if he does.
>tfw I voted for orc and I get smut scene anyway
Could be cool, but might feel kinda cheap and might be too short to really enjoy the experience.

“No rush, Iden, anyone you like the look of?” you ask, taking a sip of the drink, tastes as fruity as it looks, not unpleasant though, you suppose, if you're into that sort of thing.

“Well, I don't know, maybe her?” he says, in a way that sounds more like he's asking you a question, as he points at a woman over on the far side of the room. She's human, probably around his age, maybe a year or so older, dark haired, slim and pale, a slight tip to the ears that suggests some old elven heritage.

...you can't help but think that, ears aside, she rather reminds you of someone.

“Or her, maybe,” he suggests, pointing to a rather conventional busty blonde, a few years older than him, all smiles and flirty language as she chats with some other patrons.

“Or, um... hmm,” he peters out, though you can tell he's looking at an orcish woman, not all that powerfully built for one of her kind, but she still looks like she could lift Iden one-handed, her bare arms showing a rather impressive set of tattoos of lions or something, you think.

He looks back to you, poor guy's once again paralysed with indecision.

Why would you want to show him up even more? You don't do that to your bro

I am way more okay with this than I thought especially the first. also. THE DUBS HAVE SPOKEN!

The previous vote still stands, but since someone said they didn't want to pressure Iden into choosing too fast, I'll be saving Jareth making his choice for next post.

I forgot to ask, were there any races in the selection that Jareth hasn't fucked yet?
I would've voted for them in that case.

Looks like he's deciding for himself, writing.

>>41459869
Actually, he's going with two races he hasn't fucked yet already. Trolls and forest elves. Aside from that, he's never been with a trollkin or a full-blooded dark elf.

>>
>>41460151
That's because Priests of Elshu basically have so much carisma they can talk people literally into anything, even if it's stuff they wouldn't normally do.

>>41460193
Everybody is bisexual for Jarreth.

entirely based on our charisma...yeah, totally.

pretty much, that's what happens if you're a sex priest, your powers invole making people want to have sex with you, 24/7.

>>
This is making me think we should have found someone like Iden, just to get it out of our system.

Search no more! There is someone like Iden right next to Jarreth right now.

We should have been Iden's first, oh well, he we'll be the first to give him some good ol' butt loving.
>>
So, maybe not the best time, but what do you guys think about saving up some money for an apartment rather than constantly spending money on hotels? Probably need some equivalent to first+last but should save money in the long term
>>
Jareth is bi, though, I believe; Lordy said he just tends to prefer women.
>>
>>41460412
Should probably rent a room, but buying a Really Nice(tm) place farther down the line would be better
>>
“Three fine choices, Iden, so which one's it going to be, or are you so confident you want them all,” you grin.

“I only picked two.”

“Of course you did.”

Iden gestures to the bartender, who passes him another drink, which you intercept.

“Trust me when I say you want to be mostly sober for this, my friend,” you smile, taking a swig of the fruity cocktail.

“Okay, uh, right, I guess I'll go with...”

His eyes linger on the Razi-looking one for a long time, and the orc woman for a fair while as well, but in the end he brings his finger up to point at the safe if predictable option of the blonde.

“Ah, Mary, she's a popular girl, she'll treat you well,” Gunrelda chuckles.

“Yeah, I've decided too... him and her, two's cool, right?” Rihara asks, pointing to a curvy redhead, and a rather effeminate looking sun elf man.

“Of course, you can pick whoever you want, within reason, I'm not shutting down the whole brothel while you two have your way with my entire staff,” Gunrelda chuckles.

Rihara flashes you a grin and a wink, hopping up off her stool to go gather her partners, Gunrelda giving the two a subtle gesture which you suppose means that your sister has her approval.

“Just you left then, so who's it going to be?” the madame asks, as you gulp down Iden's second drink.

“The forest elf girl over there, what's her name?”

“Oh, Selithi, another fine choice, she's quite something that one is. Just the one for you then, not going to follow in your sister's footsteps.”

You smile, leaning back against the bar.

“You said anyone, right?”

come on man
>>
>>41460412
Maybe if we pooled our money together, the twins live in a bad area anyway, and Rihara is as homeless as we are.
Maybe? Would need two floors or so, and several bedrooms, so we could keep session private.
>>
>>41460450
“Except patrons, obviously.”

“So does that include you?”

“Well now, I did say that didn't I. I don't normally do that sort of thing any more, but I am a woman of my word,” Gunrelda chuckles, gesturing for Mary and Selithi to come over, the blonde and the forest elf crossing the room immediately.

“Mary, I want to introduce you to...”

“Uh, Iden, hi,” Iden smiles, cheeks heating up.

“and Selithi, I want to introduce you to...”

“Jareth,” you grin, nodding to the forest elf. From this close too, you can make out the leaves of her hair, oak, you think, though you've only seen a few in parks.

“I'll be covering their costs for today, so what say we move this upstairs,” Gunrelda explains, rising from her seat.

“Well now, look at the two of you, looks like it's our lucky day, Selithi,” Mary smiles, the wood elf giving you a slight nod and smile as you rise. She's quite a quiet one, it seems.

Gunrelda leads you up a flight of stairs, the sounds of sex all the more pronounced here. The madam pushes open a door, gesturing for you to step inside, ducking under the doorframe as she steps in behind you.

“Oh, are we being graded today, madam?” Mary chuckles.

“On the contrary, Jareth made me quite a proposition,” Gunrelda replies, as Iden sits himself nervously down on the edge of one of the beds, blushing hard as he watches Mary sway with every step.

While I don't think rihara wants to live with us long term we could PROBABLY agree to pool money for the first place's first+last, and then share it until we've pooled money for the second place's first+last

We can always just tell him what to do as we do our thing after all.

Foreplay is important for you partner Iden, take some pointer from me.

>>41460479

It might be better to let him get started in relative silence.

Not very polite, anon.
We have to do our best to impress Grun, so she might give us such free days in the future.
I want to make the forest elf scream, but that might be better if Iden left the room or something, I don't want to do our best while he's here, considering it's his first time and all.
>>
Poor Iden it's his first time and he has to compare himself to a sex priest.
>>
>>41460662
Then we do it to him when we get back, he wont feel so sad, or much of anything really, if he becomes insensate from the pleasure.
>>
>>41460662
Exactly why I'd rather get him out of here before fully indulging our partners to be honest.
We could, for instant, go nice and slow, wait for him to finish, praise him, then send him on his way, saying that we have still have some business to take care of, before really giving it our all.
>>
Getting started wins.

Writing.

Just foreplay, right?
Is >>41460635>>4146068 doable, with going slow and waiting to send him off?
Could we not pull down our pants until he leaves?
>>
>>41460714
Clearly this is the boipussy option, as Mary notices Iden getting hard watching Jareth in action.
>>
>>41460782

Cut it out. There was a vote to stick with him, so we stick with him.

>>
>>41460870
>>41460891
I suppose I should have been more specific: watching Jareth in action as in not taking his eyes off Jareth specifically.
