Kaito decides that they will head for the ice caverns directly, despite the journey taking slightly longer.

Asgaarth nods and Sub-Zero hands him a pack with supplies in it. Kaito straps it around his shoulders and looks out over the frozen wastelands of Lost Edenia. 'Hopefully it won't be too long of a walk,' Kaito thinks to himself.

Four hours later, Kaito's teeth chatter as they pass south under the mountain. Kaito keeps his electrical field active, keeping warm as best as possible, but the cold still finds a way to get to him, as if the land itself is trying to sap him of his spirit. In front of him is Sub-Zero, trudging along without a problem in the world; hell, he probably loves this.

Behind him is Sareena and then Asgaarth, who is bringing up the rear in case anyone falls out.

Kaito grits his teeth and presses onwards when he hears something in the distance. A strange sound, a kind of... calling. A cry for help? A plea for mercy? It almost sounds like a woman crying. Just north...

Kaito shouts out, "Did anyone else hear that just now?"

Sub-Zero looks over his shoulder. "I heard nothing."

Sareena looks up from underneath her hood. "What? You heard something?" she shouts over the wind.

Kaito's eyes narrow. In the north, the sound grows louder, almost like someone is screaming or crying. He knows that they would be able to hear it if they could... so is it a trap?

The wailing voice is now screaming for help, barely able to get above the noise of the wind.

Kaito shakes his head and ignores the sound as best he can. He pushes on behind Sub-Zero, who pauses briefly to check the map.

He takes them around a bend and up a path. Kaito closes his eyes due to the biting wind, and when he opens them he stops, nearly bumping into Sub-Zero, who has stopped walking.

Kaito looks up.

Before them are a set of two massive doors built into the side of a large rise of rock and ice. The doors are covered in a thin layer of frost and look ancient, carved with intricate runes.

Sub-Zero approaches and places a hand on it, running his fingers along the grooves. "This is it," he says. "I know it."

Kaito grabs one of the handles and pulls, to no avail. It does not budge.

Sareena and Asgaarth approach from behind.

Kaito pulls again, as hard as he may, but again it does not move. This time, Sub-Zero, Sareena and Asgaarth all lend their might and pull. The door moves ever-so-slightly before the ice that has built up around it gives way and the door opens fully.

Within lies a tunnel lined by ancient statues holding unlit braziers. The stone floor sparkles with frost and the same intricate carvings can be found throughout the hallway.

Sub-Zero leads the way, striding past the statues. Kaito examines one, finding it to be of an ancient warrior with ornate armor.

The hallway opens up to a central hall. In the heart of the chamber, there is an altar. The chamber itself is surrounded by frozen corpses, encased in massive blocks of ice.

"This is a tomb..." Sub-Zero says. "A tomb for the ancient cryomancers..."

There are other hallways and chambers, with ancient artifacts that belonged to this long-lost race, But it is what sits upon an ancient throne of ice at the head of the chamber that catches Sub-Zero's eye.

Sub-Zero approaches the throne in silence and removes the helm from the skeletal figure. He strips it of the rest of its ancient armor before donning it himself. The process takes time, but soon, he is fully armored.

He turns and places the helm upon his head and his eyes glow a bright white. Initially wary of this, Kaito calls up to him, "Sub-Zero? Are you alright?"

After a moment, the cryomancer hybrid nods. "Yes. I am more than alright."

He holds up a hand and conjures forth a sword wrought of ice, intricate in its artistry, deadly with its edge. "This armor... it was made to augment the powers of a cryomancer. It has made me stronger... and this place has given me a glimpse of what I am. What I am meant to be."

He descends the stairs, banishing the sword into fragments of ice. "I need time to meditate in the chambers of this place. I seek a vision that eludes me."

Without another word, he walks off down one of the hallways.

"You were right about the cold shoulder," Kaito says to Sareena.

"We should camp here for now," Asgaarth says. "I will start a fire."

With some native outworld logs, Asgaarth arranges them along with some rags and other useful burnable material. Kaito tries to strike two stones together, using training he once received from an ancient, mysterious and powerful organization known as the Boy Scouts, but it doesn't work. He continues futilely before giving up and just using his lightning powers to light the fire.

The hall lights up a bit from the fire and Kaito sits next to it. Sareena sits alongside him, and Asgaarth across from them. "We will spend the night here," the birdman says. "In the morning, we make for the temple."

"Do you think we'll run into much trouble?" Kaito asks.

"This land is deceptive," Asgaarth says. "It may attempt to trick us."

Kaito remembers the strange voice he heard outside.

Kaito cooks some food they brought with them over the fire and chats with Sareena a bit, getting a chance to catch up on the time that both of them have been apart since the wedding. He explains Kitana's ascension to the throne and the current status of Outworld, and she in turn describes her time with Sub-Zero and Smoke; mostly it was them on the run and collecting other lost members of the Lin Kuei.

Asgaarth excuses himself briefly and goes to check on the entrance to ensure that it is secure; the last thing that is needed is some kind of native ice creature to be attracted to the smell of their food.

Sareena looks at Kaito when he is gone. "So," she asks, "How has Turana been?"

"Good," he replies, taking a bite. "She's court wizard for the princess. Learning more advanced sorcery."

"Has she admitted her feelings for you yet?" she asks.

Kaito blinks. "I'm sorry?"

"She may be a sphinx, but her human face is just as readable as any. I've seen the way she stares at you."

"Ah hah, well, I'm not exactly sure, I mean... Turana is very nice, but..." Kaito scratches the back of his neck. "I'm just... I'm not sure who I like, is all."

Sareena smiles and drinks some more of her warm soup. "Whatever you say. But everyone needs someone. In the Netherrealm, love is anathema, but here, and on Earth, and all other realms, it is a wondrous thing."

Kaito quickly changes the subject. "So! The Netherrealm. I've been thinking about vacationing there; got any good sites to see? Recommendations?"

She laughs and decides to go along with it. "Well, there's the Sea of Immortality, the Well of Eternal Damnation, the Never-Ending Descent of Madness, the Gate of Unfathomable Torment, the Black Pit of Decay Incarnate and the Forest of Giant, Horrible, Soul-Eating Spiders."

"...I feel like you're fucking with me on that last one."

"It's an informal name," she says, taking another bite of food. "Anyone who ever tried to name it got eaten by the spiders. Perhaps I'll take you sometime," she teases.

Kaito chuckles. "Say, do you know any shapeshifting assassins?"

"Not off-hand, why?"

"Just wondering if you knew the one that almost killed me. Shapeshifting women seducing me, gunmen shooting to kill... Outworld gets crazier by the day."

"Perhaps you'd prefer going back to Earthrealm and living a normal life," she suggests.

Kaito tells Sareena that he is going to explore a bit. She nods and stays by the fire to keep warm, feeing it another log.

He walks down a tunnel and passes by a number of strange statues, altars and alcoves with ancient pottery, ice sculptures and other strange formations carved into the walls. The same strange lettering and runes line the ceiling, floors and walls in patterns he cannot recognize.

Up ahead he sees a blue light, unnatural-looking. He approaches it carefully and finds himself in a chamber with a large burning silver chalice with blue fire. The fire gives off light, but has no heat. The blue flames dance alluringly, drawing his eye, and causing him to not initially notice what else is in the chamber.

A woman, beautiful, with her arms stretched upwards, frozen solid in a block of ice. Her skin is blue and her eyes are closed, and she seems almost apart of the ice itself, but is a few shades darker than the ice which encases her.

Kaito approaches and places a hand on the cold surface, feeling its solid, cold nature. Why is she here? Is she some kind of cryomancer? A spirit of ice? An elemental of some kind?

What is she?

Kaito looks around the room for a method to free her. He doesn't want to chip her out, as that would take too long. But the fire isn't giving off any heat...

Experimentally, he approaches part of a wall and punches some ice off of the stone. He brings it over to the blue flame and holds it up. As it nears the blue fire, the ice melts instantly in his hands, turning to water.

'Enchanted blue fire that melts ice without heat,' he thinks to himself. 'Neat.'

Grunting as he does due to its weight, he lifts up the large chalice and carries it to the woman. He places it next to her and waits.

Sure enough, the ice begins to melt, but as it reaches her skin, she melts with it!

Before Kaito can move the flame away, almost all of the figure is gone, now nothing more than a big puddle on the floor. "Shit," he mutters to himself. "I must've just wrecked some kind of fancy cryomancer art piece. I should probably not tell Sub-Zero about this..."

He turns to leave when he hears a voice, far away and gurgling. "Wait..." it says.

He turns to see nobody. Then, the water on the floor begins to move, animated by some unseen force. It rises up and takes humanoid form, and before his eyes, solidifies into the form of a woman with dark skin and a bald head with a blue gem set upon her forehead. The water swirls around her in beautiful patterns.

There is something otherworldly about her. Her eyes aren't quite normal; they sparkle like stars.

"Thank you, stranger," she says, her voice shimmering like an echo. "Many centuries upon centuries have I been kept here... but now I am free. I will reward you with a choice: do you desire power, wealth or knowledge?"

"Who are you? What are you?" he asks her.

"Who am I? I have no name," she says. "As for what I am... I am Water. Flowing, eternal, formless when I choose to be. As peaceful as a pond, as dangerous as the waves of the sea..."

She holds up her hands and brings up small streams of clear water that encircle her.

"Are you a god?" Kaito asks. "Or some kind of water elemental?"

"Perhaps both," she muses with a smile. "But I, and others like me, have ever been."

"Why were you frozen?"

"Reasons lost to time," she says, perhaps deliberately hiding the truth. "I was imprisoned by those who are now gone, and so their judgment holds little meaning."

"How can you conjure up the rewards you speak of? What power can you grant? What knowledge can you grant? And I don't see any wealth on you."

She smiles and waves a hand. Suddenly, the ground at Kaito's feet is covered with numerous diamond-looking gems that sparkle with an unearthly beautiful luster. With a wave of her hand, they are gone.

"That is wealth," she says. "Mortals place great value on such things, but I need them not. As for power, I can grant you a fraction of my own abilities... the manipulation of water. Or perhaps power to heal others, or power over visions? Or perhaps you desire immortality, as the ancient edenians enjoyed? This I can also grant."

Kaito's eyes widen. "Imm... Immortality?"

"Not invulnerability, but no aging," she says. "Eternal, until killed."

Kaito is taken aback by the offer. To think that this entity could grant this kind of power... How was she trapped in the first place?

"Or knowledge," she says. "Knowledge of the realms, of the mysteries you seek answers to, knowledge of the future, the past, your destiny, your friends, your ancestors... I am a god and yet not a god, and I can grant any of these to you."

"I desire power," he tells her. "I want to manipulate water and heal others."

"Two?" she says with a wry smile. "I will allow this... but you will have mastery over neither. Perhaps in time you will grow into mastering them, but for now I shall only grant the simplest of tools."

"Will I be able to heal others, at the very least?" Kaito asks.

"You will manipulate water, but cannot create it or become it. You can heal others with your water, but only through a state of calm will you heal their wounds as you wash their bodies with the healing waters. As you learn the secrets of these powers, you will unlock greater talents..."

She suddenly vanishes, her physical form becoming water as she rushes up to Kaito and washes over him. Kaito takes a sudden breath as she encases him completely inside of her. She presses down on his chest, forcing him to open his mouth and she surges inside of him, down his throat.

Only a few gulps worth make their way inside and a moment later the mass of her washes away from him. He coughs and sputters a bit as he feels a burning in his stomach. "You could've... WARNED me!" he says, looking around.

She's gone.

The warmth in his stomach causes it to churn slightly before it begins to spread to the rest of his body. Moments later it is gone and Kaito is left there dripping wet and feeling very, very strange.

"Freaky weird water chicks forcing themselves down my throat..." he mutters to himself. "Gettin' real sick of your shit, Outworld..."

He looks at a nearby puddle of water. Experimentally, he holds out his hand and commands it to rise with his mind, and amazingly, it does.

He holds the orb of water in front of him, fascinated by this new power. He causes the water to change shapes and become like a cube, then a pyramid, and then--

Kaito follows Sub-Zero back to the fire. There, Sareena and Asgaarth await him. He eagerly shows them his newfound abilities, demonstrating them on some melted water. They are impressed, and Kaito explains how he achieved these new powers; while also leaving out the fact that he could have learned the location of the temple.

Kaito offers to try to use his new healing powers on Sub-Zero, but he refuses. "My wounds are different," he says. "Causing my flesh to grow back while the cybernetic augmentations are still within me... It may be dangerous."

Kaito understands his reasoning. Perhaps, if they had some kind of cyberneticist or a surgeon to assist them, it would work, but for now...

Everyone sleeps in their own area as the fire dies down. When Kaito awakens, he feels another body alongside his; Sareena had, during the night, brought her sleeping bag closer to share their body heat, becoming something of a little spoon to Kaito. He carefully disentangles himself from his bag and awakens them.

Kaito steps forward. "I'll go with you," he tells him. "Sareena, Asgaarth, you two stay here until we return. Keep her safe," he tells the birdman.

"You mean I'll keep HIM safe," the assassin says with a cocky grin.

Kaito nods and prepares his things. He gives a wave to Sareena and Asgaarth before they both depart through the large doors at the end of the entry corridor and out into the frozen wastelands.

Sub-Zero takes the lead, heading north. Kaito follows him. The wind picks up, kicking up snow and ice, but Sub-Zero waves a hand, creating a protective invisible bubble around them around which all snow and ice slides around. It is not so much an application of physical force as it is simply commanding the ice and snow to move elsewhere through cryokinesis, an advanced technique that he pulls off seemingly effortlessly thanks to his new enchanted armor.

"We could scale a mountain to get a better look," the Lin Kuei suggests. "If it can even be seen from a mountain. Or we could search on the ground. What do you suggest?"

As Kaito climbs, he suddenly slips and loses his foothold but does not fall far. He lands in a mound of snow, rather harmlessly by some miracle. He gets up and shakes off some snow when he realizes he is near a large nest.

A white creature lifts its head and looks at him with large eyes. It is a white griffon; beautiful but clearly territorial and protective of its young.

It shrieks at him as a warning.

Kaito slowly backs away from the shrieking griffon. He hears a noise to his right and looks over to see Sub-Zero creating a ladder out of ice down to Kaito's position. The Earthrealmer jumps on and quickly climbs up.

The Lin Kuei warrior begins to create a stairway of ice for them to scale, of which Kaito is very thankful. Within the hour, they have reached the top.

The clouds here are thick. Both warriors squint as they look through the haze to attempt to glimpse their destination.

Try as he might, Kaito is unable to see through the clouds. He looks at Sub-Zero, who is sitting and meditating.

"Can't see a damn thing, " Kaito says.

"Then we must look another way." He closes his eyes and breathes in a slow, repetitive, controlled manner.

Kaito watches as the clouds around them begin to move. With awe, he sees them shift, split and stretch thin as they are banished from the mountain top. The wind, which had only moments ago been deafening, calms to barely the faintest breeze.

"Look quickly," Sub-Zero says, "while I keep the cold at bay. Hurry."

Kaito wastes no time in scanning the horizon. At first nothing, but then...

Northwest. Stone structures and a temple disguised to look like a mountain from the distance. He quickly takes out the map and jots its location down as Sub-Zero's power fails and the clouds return.

The Lin Kuei warrior breathes heavily. "Did we do it?" he asks.

Kaito holds up the map. "We got it."

Giving Sub-Zero a chance to rest, they make their way down the mountain in a normal fashion, as opposed to taxing his powers to create a slide. Carefully making their way down, they head back to the Ice Caverns.

They arrive and find their allies around a new fire, interrupting a session in which Asgaarth was imparting some of his knowledge of magic onto Sareena. They quickly get the two up to speed, put out the fire, pack up and move out.

Crossing the tundra proves challenging. The wind picks up, tearing and biting at them as they cross the frozen plains. Kaito keeps his head down and Sareena wraps her cloak tightly about her body.

Sub-Zero warns them that a storm is approaching; one he cannot stop due to its fierce nature. Once they can confirm that they have found the temple they seek, they must turn back if they hope to get to the boat in time.

They reach the temple outskirts and Asgaarth looks upon it with his eagle-like eyes. "This is the one!" he shouts.

"Great!" Kaito calls over the rising wind. "Now lets get the fu--"

"Wait!" Sub-Zero shouts. He is looking intently at the temple entrance. "Someone is entering it!"

Asgaarth looks hard. "It's true!"

Kaito looks through the wind and sees a black speck moving up to the entrance then vanishing behind it.

Kitana said not to enter... But didn't mention encountering anyone. The storm will be here soon...

A) All four investigate

"Is there something valuable in there?" Kaoto asks Asgaarth.

"To the right individuals, its value is insurmountable. If they are here to steal it..."

"Look, I get that Kitana sent me on this mission without telling me much. Everyone is entitled to secrets. But if I'm going to appreciate the gravity of this, then I need to know what we're dealing with."

"During the Mortal Kombat tournament, Kitana used a number of distractions to secure lore from Shang Tsung's chambers that led us here. This temple protects the Edenia Kamidogu."

Sareena gasps. "Kami-whatnow?" Kaoto asks.

"Every realm has a Kamidogu," Sareena explains. "It is the heart of the realm, the key to its Jinsei."

"Again, Jin-whatnow?"

Asgaarth shakes his head. "It matters not right now. The Kamidogu can separate Edenia from Outworld. Kitana and I have been working in secret for centuries to gather all that is needed to free our realm. This Kamidogu is the last piece."

"Is it guarded?" Kaito asks.

"Yes," Asgaarth replies. "That is why this was a scouting mission. We cannot kill its guardian."

"Perfect! So it will kill the intruder. Probem solved."

"Unless they have what we have also sought and failed to find: the only weapon that can kill the guardian. "

"Alright. The storm will keep whoever goes into that temple inside. Sub-Zero, you're with me. Sareena, Asgaarth, take the nethership to Kitana. Warn her and bring back some reinforcements if you can."

Asgaarth nods. "I agree with this course of action. Be wary of the guardian, Kaito. Without the Lotus Blade, it cannot be killed."

"Just what is this guardian, anyway?"

"A spirit of decay. Entropy personified. Its stewardship of the Kamidogu is why this land is desolate, lifeless and frozen. The lotus blade can pierce its hollow heart and destroy it. I hope this intruder indeed possesses it... for both of your sakes."

"Be careful," Sareena says. "We will return soon."

Asgaarth and Sareena leave, heading southeast to the shore and the ship, eventually vanishing from sight in the wind. Kaito looks at Sub-Zero. "Ready?"

Well that's fair, and I mean rhe choreography is always pretty decent. What I mean is just a change up here and there with the plot. And he always manages to 'melt the heart' of the tough-as-nails policewoman or executive or whatever in them. Every once in a while is fine but ever since that started popping up it stuck and eventually got boring and kinda weird. That's just me though.
Remember "Return of the Invasion of the Metal Mutants from Planet K"? That was amazing. Why can't he do more movies like that? Even Werewolf Queen v Slithrar the Snake God was alright.

I don't know that I'd go that far, but it's better than people give it credit for. Sure the effects are kinda "eh", but they're good for the budget.

Kaito and Sub-Zero approach the ice temple together, passing beneath the ancient edenian archway and walking past columns of massive stone blocks carved with depictions of warriors from lost ages.

Carefully and stealthily, they creep into the temple proper and seek out the intruder. They enter the main hall and search it, but find no one.

"Where is he?" Kaito asks, nervous. He hasn't seen any sign of a Kamidogu or its guardian, much less the intruder they originally saw enter.

"I do not know," Sub-Zero says. "But I feel a strange presence in this place... I have felt it ever since coming to this land, but here, it is strongest..."

"What is it?"

"I have not spoken of it until now, but this land's cold is not natural," he replies. "In Earthrealm, in the cold regions, China and Arctika, it is a natural cold, apart of life... there is 'life' to the cold if you understand my meaning... but here, it is hollow. There is no life to this cold."

"That's comforting," Kaito says. He turns and sees a large chamber that is partially exposed to the elements through a hole in the ceiling. Outside, the storm rages.

"How long do you think that storm will last?" Kaito asks.

"Perhaps days, perhaps only as long as whatever is causing it is stopped," the Lin Kuei says, causing Kaito to look at him. "Like I said, it is not natural. I can feel it."

"Can you sense its origin?" Kaito asks.

"Perhaps... This way."

Sub-Zero leads them down a hall and up to a darkened archway.

They discover a staircase that leads down into the crust of the earth. They look at each other and descend into the bleak darkness below, with very little light to guide their path.

Up ahead, however, there is strange white light. They reach the bottom of the staircase and find a large, empty chamber. The ground is wet to the touch and at its heart is a tree, dead, blackened and with nothing on its limbs but thorns and sticks.

"Be wary," Sub-Zero says. "I do not like the look of this."

They enter the room and find that it has no other exits. The room itself is wrought of white marble, unnaturally white, almost shimmering, which gives everything a strange bright translucent feel.

Kaito turns to look back at the staircase that they descended down and discovers that it is not there; there is only another white wall.

"I think we're in trouble," he says to his Lin Kuei companion. A sense of dread and unease begins to worm its way up his spine.

Kaito approaches the wall where the stairs once were and touches it, find it cold to the touch and smooth.

Suddenly, he feels a drop on his hand. He turns it around and sees that it is red; blood.

The water at his feet drips and he looks up as the ceiling of this room begins to turn red with blood. The walls start to turn red as blood flows upwards, not downwards as gravity would normally dictate, up the sides in large splotches of violent splashes of red on white.

As the blood crawls upwards, a voice reaches their ears, sickening and far away.

"You will know suffering. You will know eternal pain."

"Sub-Zero, I think the room is getting edgy on us," Kaito says as he approaches the Lin Kuei, who is on guard and looking around at the reddening room.

"I feel feast upon your soul, your corpse, your bones and rotting flesh..."

"Show yourself!" the Chinese warrior shouts.

"There is decay in you already, cold one... your body rots from within with unnatural pieces... A machine man, with a machine heart, and a machine mind..."

"Don't listen to it," Kaito says.

"Entropy cannot be stopped... It will forever follow you, and eventually it will sink its claws into you, rotting you from within... You are here now, my latest meal, morsels of life to feast upon... It has been so long..."

"Kaito," Sub-Zero says, looking at his fellow Earthrealmer, "I do not believe there was an intruder."

"What?"

"I think this thing wanted us to come here. It tricked us."

"Damn," Kaito says, remembering that they cannot kill it without the weapon they do not have.

"I feel it growing stronger," the Lin Kuei warns.

"Together," Kaito says to Sub-Zero, who nods and begins powering up his own abilities. Kaito charges up a bolt of lightning and prepares to unleash it around him and blast their way out.

They both let loose at the same time, and a terrible shrill cry fills the room. The lightning hits the wall and is absorbed and Sub-Zero's frost is siphoned away, melting into the ground.

Kaito looks down and sees two bloody hands emerge from the floor to grab and hold his feet, joined by two more to grab his upper legs.

Sub-Zero is grabbed from below as well and looks on as the tree in the center of the room begins to shift and change, its limbs becoming arms with elongated fingers and the trunk of the tree splitting to become legs. Kaito looks and sees a vaguely humanoid shape emerge.

Tendrils of red blood from the floor crawl up the black hide and glow bright red. The abnormal spiny skeleton stretches out its arms and speaks.

"I am death... I am entropy... I am Decay..." it speaks in a strangely feminine voice. Its smooth head raises upwards and stares at Kaito. "I cannot be destroyed. I feed off of your power. Your anger, your fury, your emotions are meaningless to me. They all taste the same."

Decay nears, bringing with her a cold terror that sweeps through him. She holds out a hand and brings it near his chest, preparing to slowly skewer him through the heart with her fingers.

Kaito closes his eyes and concentrates, shutting out the negative emotions and the crawling darkness coming to kill him.

He brings himself back to another time, a simpler time, traveling the world with his father. Seeing the sights, the sounds, the sun shining overhead, birds chirping in the sky and the cool breeze of summer running through his hair...

Kaito holds out his hands and feels the water on the floor around him. He causes it to raise and focuses on infusing them with calm, healing positive energy.

Then, he splashes her with them.

She cries in pain, falling back. Each drop is like acid upon her skin, melting black flesh and causing rotten wood and mold to spill off of her bones. She writhes as the waters wash over her, boiling and melting, screaming all the while.

Kaito opens his eyes as her ribcage splits open from the healing water. Inside her chest it is hollow, save for one thing: a golden-white gemlike item depicting a Yin-Yang symbol. The Kamidogu, at the heart of Decay!

I still don't understand what you thought we were going to say to Mileena, like what we should ask her to do.

Like, "hey don't be evil" is a goal, sure, but "being evil" and "overthrowing Kitana" are two completely seperate things.

Imagine for a second that you're a prince, and your dad dies and you're next in line for the throne.

And in walks your older brother going "Nope, I'm older and you're adopted, fuck off"

But dad specifically said you were the heir and his rule is law...except everyone hated him and backs your bro so they ignore it.

So you're thrown in the dungeon, escape, and have to assemble a rebellion to take back your crown.

Now imagine somebody comes along and starts pleading "Can't we all just get along? If you drop all this plotting against the throne stuff, your bro is willing to let you be...a duke? A kickass duke."

That dude's a nice guy and all, but do you REALLY give a shit what he thinks?
>>
>>41626792
Provided she isn't dead we just might, I just hope that doesn't mean Kitana is dead either.
In character at least. Out of character I think Mileena is all around more interesting.
the twist is helping Mileena hold her ill gotten kingdom together while fighting revenant Kitana. And trying to keep her identity secret to prevent another mass revolt.
>>
We are getting ahead ourselves, let's get out of here first.
>>
>>41626939
...or, we probably now have the means to separate Edenia from Outworld.

Each girl gets their own realm.
>>
>>41626939
>Enter palace
>"Hey guys! Guess what, I have healing po..."
>Everyone already dead.
>>
>>41626841
That was never the goal. The goal was to have her make an informed decision based on something besides lies, manipulation and both of them constantly trying to murder each other because of the manipulations of others.

After that it would be up to them what to do.
At least in my case "don't be evil" and "don't overthrow your sister" were secondary from "hey, here's the truth. Also, you should be fine with who you are because neither you or your sister would make a decent version of the other. You have your own strengths and weaknesses, draw strength from them instead of letting them cripple you."
>>
>>41626841
Plus I thought we were going kinda "no gods, no masters" with this.
Letting her be manipulated and used by others kinda flies in the face of that.
>>
>>41627269
Isn't "she's being manipulated" just an assumption? What if the people who freed her from the dungeon are just loyal to her? We don't even know who freed her or sent the assassins.
>>
>>41627746
Well, considering one of the things brought up, was that the Jade guarding her may not have actually been Jade. Then no. That would mean, if true, her rescue party was provoking her and antagonizing her as her sister's best friend. Presumably acting on her orders, or any other form they can take (one of which we know is Kitana) waiting for her to reach a critical mass of mad before releasing her.
That sounds pretty manipulative to me, and is the kind of thing we've nearly killed people over doing to us, in character.
>>
>>41627939
That's fair, I hadn't considered the whole "turns out Jade was a fake the ENTIRE time" thing.
>>
>>41627978
Well maybe not the entire time, could have been soonish after getting back to to the city, no real way to tell when that happened.
>>
>>41627113
>>41627269
I myself don't know anything about the MK lore, so all my decisions are based on what Kaito sees in the quest.
I've tried my best in convincing Mileena, because all I've seen was a clone, who was misshapen, raised in self-loathing, with a hatred for everything by the guy who wanted to invade our world, and by the guy who stole our father's soul.

Maybe we won't achive anything. But I want to make sure she was given, chances and made her choices, and we won't loose sleep over her death in that case.

>No gods, no masters
I could totally go for that. Add "yes peace" to it, and it's reall Kaito.
>>
>>41628175
That's something I'd like to find out. Has she been in the medallion from day one? Did Shang Tsung knew? Why Kitana had false info then? Did Khameleon just helped us defeat Shang Tsung? Why not kill us after the battle? Why not kill us with the kiss before Mileena's cell?

If not, then where did she inflirtate us? Where is the real Jade?
>>
>>41628268
>Why not kill us with the kiss before Mileena's cell?
then mileena would know she was being manipulated
>>
>>41628320
So we might safely assume that whoever moves the strings, needs her?

Or at least that she isn't the mastermind.
>>
>>41628449
>whoever moves the strings, needs her
Not who you responded too but that makes the most sense to me. Whoever is doing this likely want's to install Mileena as ruler then control her. Shang Tsung would be my assumption, I could also imagine Tanya or someone in her family but that's just a hunch.
>>
>>41628564
not necessary to control per say but to remove and claim power for them selves.
>>
>>41628268
Could have been a decoy set up by Shang Tsung if he realized what was going to happen via divination or something.
Why exactly she'd work for him in Shao Khan's absence I can't say. Maybe she's just god awful, maybe she's mind controlled. That was the same sort of amulet Taruna said she'd been bound with after all.
Maybe she didn't kill us, or attempt to early on because subterfuge is easier when things are less chaotic, and maybe she felt like she owed us a little until she saw how much we were undercutting her plan for Mileena.
And maybe she didn't kill us in front of her with the kiss because that's super hard to hide from a routine inspection, doesn't fit Mileena's abilities. And it doesn't fit Jade's either. It would have been literally the most suspicious thing she could have done.
Switch perfumes or whatever Shao Kahn's personal hot spring has for ambiance for poison and boom. We fell victim to an assassination attempt in Kitana's place by being somewhere we shouldn't at the wrong time.
And the reaction is easily explained.
Or not even that, human reacts badly to rare Outworld substance. Who knows how they work? There's like 2 other humans here as much as Kaito, none with the ability to really have access to extract of thousand year old fermented whatever.

Kaito reaches into the hollow chest of Decay and takes hold of the Kamidogu, ripping it out of her. She screams as this happens, reaching for Kaito, but the water melts her limbs completely and she washes away, becoming a black puddle with a face before she completely sinks into the stones.

The room grows dark and the blood seeps away; the hands let go and they are both freed.

Sub-Zero looks around. "I do not understand. Water killed it?"

"Water stopped it," a voice says, and both turn to the newly-revealed staircase. There stands the woman you freed earlier, the one from the ice. "Decay is not dead. She will return, but you have stolen her prize and the object that granted her such power. She will take time to feed, perhaps a great time, but she will eventually come back."

>cont'd
>>
>>41628823

"How do you know this? Just who are you? What is all of this?" Kaito asks her.

"Decay is part of me, or perhaps it is better to say that we are both parts of a whole," she answers cryptically. She approaches him. "But know this, Akayama Kaito... You could not have stopped her without the gift I gave you. Everything is for a reason."

"Are you saying you used me?" Kaito asks.

"It was a mutually beneficial situation, I assure you," she says. She looks up to the ceiling, listening. "It seems that Decay's storm is past."

"Alright, now I've got a few questions for--"

She turns into water and splashes into the floor, draining through the cracks.

"Alright, well, nevermind."

Kaito looks at the Kamidogu in his hands; it's the size of a large dinner plate and it glows bright and is almost hot to the touch. It hums with a strange energy. He wraps it up in cloth and sets it in his pack.

"Great, so now we've got this," he says, looking back at Sub-Zero. "I guess we should just wait for the boat?"

I can't believe that. Johnny was in torn pants for most of the movie, and what the Ninja Nurses wore barely counted as a shirt. Still a great movie though.

You know what I'm pissed about. Kaito wasn't in Mortal Kombat or it's sequel. I can forgive Johnny for making himself the main character, but man he could have at least put us in as a cameo.

Of course that might be a blessing too what with Mortal Kombat: The Death of Johnny Cage. I just kinda felt bad after that one.

Sub-Zero approaches Kaito. "Good work," he says, referencing his defeat of Decay.

Kaito holds up his hand. Sub-Zero merely stares at it with a blank look in his eyes.

But after a moment, they high-five.

Afterwards, they both spend some time exploring the ancient edenian temple. As Sub-Zero searches through some of the lower levels, Kaito makes his way to one of the upper reaches of the temple.

Inside, he discovers a chamber with four great images carved from immaculate stone.

The first depicts a hooded woman with one eye, having a vision of some great disaster; a mountain behind her is erupting and ominous clouds swirl around it. The second image features a man bowed before three great serpentine dragons, each resembling the dragon-symbol he has seen so much of ever since the first tournament.

The third image shows two mirrored figures, each encased in the heart of a mountain, sleeping in stone. The final image shows two figures, perhaps the same two, wielding swords and charging up the sides of a great pyramid to challenge a monster at the top, around which the sky swirls. The monster is carved with burning skin, and is twice the size of both men.

Kaito runs his hands over the surface of the image. What do they represent? What story do they tell? A legend? A prophecy?

Sub-Zero enters and nods at Kaito. "I haven't found anything valuable."

"Me neither, let's head to the shore."

As they depart the temple, they step once more into the frozen tundra, but find the wind to be considerably less volatile than before. The journey back to the shore is much more pleasant because of this.

As they near it, Kaito suddenly feels strange, as though someone is trying to speak with him and needs permission. Somehow, he knows it is Asgaarth, and he realizes that the birdman is contacting him through the sphere at the fortress.

Kaito consents and the image of Asgaarth appears before him, a figure of light.

"Hey Asgaarth! Good news, we got the--"

"KAITO!" he suddenly shouts, cutting him off. "The fortress, the city--it is overrun!"

"What?!" Kaito replies, his eyes wide. "But how? Who--"

"The Emperor," Asgaarth says with dread. "Shao Kahn has returned and has an army of the dead and all of the centaurians with him. He has besieged the city and plans to retake this throne! They arrived just after Sareena and myself reached the fortress--we cannot take the boat to reach you!"

A surge of panic rushes through Kaito. He quickly relays the success of their mission to Asgaarth, who gasps when he learns that they have the Kamidogu.

"KAITO! Listen to me VERY carefully! Do NOT bring the Kamidogu to the city! Shao Kahn must NOT EVER get his hands on it! That Kamidogu represents the only hope Edenia has of being separated from Outworld, and if he obtains it, we will--"

Asgaarth suddenly stops speaking and turns around, seeing and speaking to someone Kaito cannot see in the sphere chamber. "You... I knew it."

The image vanishes. Kaito reaches out. "ASGAARTH!"

But he is gone.

Sub-Zero looks at Kaito. "What now?" he asks.

The Earthrealmer shakes his head. They are far to the north of the fortress city, too great a distance to teleport but it will take days, weeks perhaps, to reach the city to help. And by then, it may already be too late.

"Damnit!" Kaito stomps his foot into the ground, shattering a rock with an electrical surge. This is like when he was displaced by Quan Chi in the southeastern continent of this world. Too far to make a difference.

He looks at Sub-Zero. "Do you have any way to get us there and quickly?"

"The only portal I know to Earthrealm is in the soutern wastelands, even further from us than the city. And it leads to China, where Sektor is hunting for me."

"Shit," Kaito mutters. "We don't have many supplies, either. Most of it was on the boat."

Sub-Zero looks south. "Then we must travel quickly, eat lightly, sleep in short bursts and hope that we can reach our allies before they are defeated."

Kaito takes out the map and studies it. "Between us and there lies... the realm of Kuatan. The Shokan Province." He looks up. "Perhaps they will help?"

"Or take us prisoner," Sub-Zero says.

"Worth a shot," Kaito replies, rolling the map back up. "The royal family swore themselves to Kitana. Let's hope they keep their vows now that Shao Kahn is back..."

The Emperor... how could he survive such a fall? And a temple falling atop him and burying him beneath the sea? Kaito curses his luck at being stranded out here with no support while his friends fight their enemies.

Sub-Zero starts walking south, and Kaito follows along. He feels the Kamidogu in his pack and worries about marching towards the enemy, but he cannot simply run and hide. He won't allow himself to.

Now time is against them, and they must hurry.

The fate of Edenia, and perhaps all of Outworld, rests in their hands.

>>41636654
>well it did stop Armageddon.

No it didn't. It stopped Kahn from winning the end of the world, but the end of the world will still happen as long as Blaze exists. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, he was created to solve the problem of a war that will tear reality apart, that only occurs BECAUSE he exists and everyone wants his power.

The only way to prevent Armageddon is to find and kill Blaze. Obviously, Raiden was never smart enough or informed enough to realize that, he only cared about the short-term problem of WHO killed Blaze and got his power. That same power, in the hands of anyone else, is just as destructive.

And it's not like killing all those people will make the war smaller, most of the people in MKA were already from the Netherealm or had been resurrected at some point.

We don't know that it STOPPED Armageddon. Delayed it, maybe. But there will always be Mortal Kombat and Delia's vision of the war outside the pyramid will eventually come to pass.

It's like Judgment Day from the Terminator franchise. We can keep pushing it back but we can't stop it without COMPLETELY fucking up the timeline.

Nah, gank Blaze before the pyramid rises and it'll just never happen and the realms will keep on keepin' on.

>The only way to prevent Armageddon is to find and kill Blaze

Armageddon was not caused by Blaze, he was the key to stopping it through the competition of the brothers. Armageddon is directly caused by the influx of too many fighters warring across the realms through Mortal Kombat, culminating in a battle that would weaken the fabric of reality and destroy existence.
>>
>>41636948

>>
>>41636948
>Armageddon is directly caused by the influx of too many fighters warring across the realms through Mortal Kombat, culminating in a battle that would weaken the fabric of reality and destroy existence.

There were like 64 people in attendance at the battle of Armageddon.

Considering that several of them don't even have superpowers (the tech/weapons users), do you really think there were more mages there than there were in attendance on the ground during any given war betweem Edenia and Outworld?

The premise is flawed.

UNLESS...you accept that the problem wasn't "at any time a war with too much magic COULD happen that splits apart reality", but that the problem was THIS PARTICULAR war, that there's something special ABOUT it.

That special thing is the power boost Blaze's Prize would give the winner.

Consider that the whole Armageddon plan was concocted specifically because Delia had a vision of the future. She saw the war that would end reality.

According to the devs, her vision is the opening cinematic of MKA. She specifically sees THAT war, with Zombie Liu sinking his hooks into Shang's back as he rapidly ages and whatnot.

She saw Blaze.

And created him anyway.

She is an idiot.

Like I said, her prophecy is SELF fulfilling. Her vision comes true BECAUSE of the steps she tried to take to prevent it.
>>
>>41636998

>Considering that several of them don't even have superpowers (the tech/weapons users), do you really think there were more mages there than there were in attendance on the ground during any given war betweem Edenia and Outworld?

I think the general implication is that Mortal Kombat characters, when they engage in battle, cause a lot of collateral damage just through the essence of Mortal Kombat itself, which is tied into the furies that balance the realms and keep them together. So with so many people in one place fighting at the same time, shit as getting majorly unbalanced.

But again, such battles would be commonplace and have a lot MORE people slinging the fundamental forces of reality at each other during any of Kahn's invasions.

Especially Edenia's, a realm flush with wizards, where Jerrod and Argus's families and a bunch of servants who were fucking dragons were known to be on the front lines.

The Battle of Armageddon was only fought because the rumor got out "Hey everybody, if we all get together in this desert, a pyramid will rise and whoever kills the fire guy on top will get ultimate power".

My argument is that said ultimate power is the boost needed to push THAT war over the edge compared to all the other magic wars that had ever been fought and made reality fall apart.

If Blaze didn't exist, there'd both be no war AND no way for reality to rip.

Perhaps, but I think there's a distinction to be made about armies of mooks versus a main Mortal Kombat character, each of whom is a one-man-army.

>Surprised nobody has asked about this yet
>>
>>41637400
Well obviously you want to tell us so:
>Question about Khameleon?
>>
>>41637400
>but I think there's a distinction to be made about armies of mooks versus a main Mortal Kombat character

The distinction is special moves. They're all wizards.

The only thing really that makes a Johnny Cage special is in his realm, wizards are uncommon and magic is this secret thing no one believes in, hence the whole "People think I'm a fake and my movies use special effects!" thing.

But in Outworld, there's Shadow Priests all over the goddamn place. The Netherealm has at least one entire city populated by sorcerers.

>Answer about Khameleon.
>>
>>41637498
I don't know what question you want me to ask, dude.
Don't be teasing shit then not putting out.
>>
>>41637487
>The distinction is special moves. They're all wizards.

Come on Anon, most of them are at least monks and their power comes from their martial arts training or bloodline techniques. Shang Tsung and other sorcerers and the Shadow Priests are traditional wizards who study magic, but Liu Kang is not a wizard.
>>
>>41637526
>Liu Kang is not a wizard
I thought Liu Kang was a magic zombie.
>>
>>41637526
That's just different training and words for the same thing: Manipulating the energy of souls (your own, your ancestors in the spirit realm, those stolen from others, those trapped inside a magic sword, etc.) to break the laws of physics.

A monk is a kung fu wizard. A Lin Kuei member is a Marvel-style mutant whose birth-power is a school of magic.
>>
>>41637593

If you say so Anon; I maintain that there's a difference, at least in mentality and practical application. A Shadow Priest isn't physically intimidating and wizards can often rely on spellbooks or staffs or something.

Ermac is a wizard, I'll give you that one, but he's a wizard ninja psion.

Mortal Kombat has a lot of multiclassing.
>>
>>41637400
So what's up with Khameleon, she's a member of the Forces of Light in canon so why's she being an assassin and trying to make out murder Kaito in the bath?

Also, on the subject of Chameleons, you're not gonna do something dumb like make her and Chameleon the same person, or make Chameleon not a saurian, are you?
>>
>>41637400
Does Khameleon have hair? What is it on her head?
>>
>>41637629
Ermac is actually not a wizard by your definition, he's a haunted house. All of his powers are poltergeist abilities because he's made of ghosts.

The point I'm really trying to make is that the terminology is irrelevant to the cause of Armageddon, which is "War w/ too much magic will rip apart reality".

Lots of wars with special move-having people happened in the past and with way MORE magic than the what the one in MKA could muster.

The big difference that tore apart reality HAS to be the Prize. Which means Delia accidentally made her own vision come true. The only way to prevent Armageddon is to assassinate Blaze before he can summon the pyramid and assume his Final Form.
>>
>>41637678
Invisible hair.
>>
>>41637678
Maybe they're feathers.

Reptile's race evolved from Earth dinosaurs, y'know.
>>
>>41637675

No, she and Chameleon are not the same person. Khameleon is currently serving a secret agenda that we will learn about more in the future.
>>
>>41638193
>Khameleon is currently serving a secret agenda that we will learn about more in the future.
Is that Agenda: Get into Kaito's Pants?

Is she willing to be Kaito's Buddy? Can we get Chameleon too? Then we can all kick Reptile's jobber ass.
She willing to star in Outworld Girls Gone Wild as pretty much everyone?

Anything you can tell us other then "Oooh, mysterious?"
>>
Well Shit. Big S is coming to town. How much help could we expect from the fellow Earthrealmers? Would it worth to call Raiden?
>>
>>41638276

I will say that she is not evil and is a neutral party who considers Kaito a threat to her plans. She tried to get close as Jade, and when that failed, she tried to seduce him as Kitana.
>>
>>41638588
>Would it worth to call Raiden?
Seeing as the last time we called Raiden to ask for an update about the fate of the world, he acted like a jackass and hung up on us, nah.

Also if Raiden shows up and asks for Kaito's help, we bring that up. We also bring up the fact that he use to be cool.

>>41638595
Too bad nobody in outworld knows how to sit down and talk shit out like a normal person, eh? Be all "Kaito, I have these plans, they are possibly reasonable and not crazy, can you help out?"
>>
There aren't many chances of us finding all our friends alive after this one do we?
>>
>>41638663
Eh, even if not there's usually a loophole or six that lets them come back to life.
I mean Johnny literally got killed and then got a freebie because the merger blocked off heaven.
>>
>>41638698

yeah but he's a main character
>>
>>41638698
>I mean Johnny literally got killed and then got a freebie because the merger blocked off heaven.

Technically, at the end of the merger, Johnny did die and go to heaven like he was supposed to. His actual resurrection occurs in MK4.
>>
>>41638644
>Too bad nobody in outworld knows how to sit down and talk shit out like a normal person

Don't be silly. How else are we going to get poisoned with a kiss, get drowned in a hotspring, and being stabbed to death by a pretty shapeshifter?
>>
I see that wanting to return to things half as organised as we left it was really really wishful thinking.
Since we asked Sheeva to go help Kitana before we left, we will probably have some troubles on their land after all.

>>41638644
Any plan that requires Mileena remaining misguided and bloodthirsty doesn't sounds too good.
Good thing Kaito has an instinct for finding alternatives. We'll see.
>>
>>41638644

People in Outworld have trust issues. Killing is a much better short-term solution to a problem.
>>
>>41639022
I swear if we remain in Outworld for long, we are going to develop the same issues ourselves. I literally always ask myself now ; could this friend I've just met be a shapeshifter?
>>
>>41638969
We told tortek to go protect kitana too so hopefully she has the tarkatan hordes on her side.
>>
>>41639022
Also worth noting that, at least according to the convo between Cage and Li Mei in MKX, their entire realm's culture revolves around "honorable kombat", like the Klingons or some shit. I bet their entire pantheon is gods of war, instead of the elements like Earthrealm has.
>>
>>41639213
The Tarkatans respect strength. That's why they followed Khan in the first place. If they see him again or he challenges Tortek...
>>
Anyone else feel like this quest just keeps getting better and better?
>>
>>41639989
Me! Altough I also feel like all of Kaito's achivements are about to crumble fast.
>>
>>41640059

Kaito has definitely made a difference in the long run but you have to work to protect what you build.
>>
>>41639989
I think it's pretty great

Soon.
>>
>>41639022
Well since we've been nearly murdered for no good reason as far as we can tell. I feel like we should screw over whoever is trying to have us killed.
You know, get to Earth and borrow Raiden's phone as soon as possible.
But I guess my question is "portal or hoofing it back to the city? Which is closer?"
Second question, so far, is everyone still alive?
>>
>>41640357
And here I was hoping to be able to rub a free Edenia or Kitana getting into the family business and being better at it than him in his stupid face.
>>
>>41636398

>"Shao Kahn has returned and has an army of the dead and all of the centaurians with him.
>army of the dead

Great, where the hell did he pull that from?
>>
>>41640612

Fucking phone cut me off again. Was going to put quotes around that.

That's the big thing for next thread, and a special surprise from the old comics. Stay tuned.
>>
>>41640620
Also just because I have to.
Inb4 Khameleon or whoever convinced Mileena to break out, as us, after we went off on Jade.
Fucking shapeshifters man, not even once.
Unexpected Twist: she thinks she's been traveling with us and getting advice from us the whole time.
>>
>>41640881
I think the gecko chick can only take the form of another female. I might be wrong tough.

>>41640462
We are definitley going to screw over our assailants at least once. I don't feel so bad aboiut getting our asses kicked anymore, but some vendetta is still in order.
>>
>>41640612
Probably the Netherrealm, where most dead things seem to come from.
>>
>>41641039
Eh, better to run on maximum paranoia until we get confirmation in quest just how far this versions abilities extend. The only one I'd probably trust is Taruna since all the forms we've seen Khameleon take are bipedal.
>>
>>41640881

We'll catch up to Mileena soon enough, and we'll learn who freed her.

Say, quick question: I've been tossing around the idea of holding some side-story quests, maybe just one or two threads where we step back from Kaito's story and follow Johnny Cage or Erron Black or someone else on the sides, expand the world a bit. Call it "Mortal Kombat Konquest: Johnny Cage Special" or something.
>>
>>41641089
>maximum paranoia
Yes I think it's the best approach.
>>
>>41641116

And I forgot to include the question: How would people feel about this?
>>
>>41641116
That would be sweet. I am not sure about the dangers of some metagaming tough.
>>
>>41641116
Might be fun.
Erron Black might be cool.
Quan Chi: Smug Douche quest might also be neat.
Though Johnny Cage: Quest for Oscar would also be great.
>>
>>41641146
(Cont.)
That of course if the side quests tie into the "Kanon Kounqest"
>>
>>41641125
To be honest people are probably pretty invested in Kaito, but seeing things from another perspective might be great. Particularly if you're feeling a tad worn down on Kaito. Don't want you to get burnt out after all.
If you're taking suggestions I vote for Black Dragon Quest.
>>
>>41641210
So from Kaito we switch to Kano?
>>
>>41641396

And then to Kintaro just for kicks
>>
>>41641210
I agree, we are really into Kaito, and that cliffhanger isn't the best place for a sidequest.
We should try it in a more peaceful time tough.
>>
>>41641510
>I agree, we are really into Kaito

AND SO IS KHAMELEON'S TONGUE
>>
>>41641642
Was anon, was. It's not there anymore.
>>
>>41641687

I wonder what freaky Outworld chick we'll make out with next

I hope it's Mileena, we're overdue for a neckin'
>>
>>41641742
Yeah, me too anon, me too.
But Sheeva and Taruna are both options as well, and Sheeva's not a bad one.
>>
>>41641642
>>41641742

You know, mif you think about it, of all the MK chicks, only Khameleon made it to First Base with Kaito.
Twice.
Which only irks me because it wasn't planned

I might feel a bit violated..
>>
>>41641853
Of course you should, at least one of those was to kill us.
>>
>>41641853

It's funny how these things work out, isn't it? Kaito thought he was getting to home base with Kitana (and really who could resist).

I just hope that the girls don't die horrible deaths in the coming threads, I wouldn't be able to take it.
>>
>>41641907
We're alright if Sonya kicks the bucket though right?
And look at it this way, death doesn't usually stick in MK.
At least in Mileena's case all it might mean, if Damashii is cool with it is reworking her to a new design. But given her origins and everything there's no garauntee it'd be the one we know.
Still, in character the closest thing Kaito has seen for MKs lax death policy is Noob Saibot so far.
So fuck death.
>>
>>41642064
Sorry, that was a bit crass, my point was Sonya is the one we know the least.
>>
>>41641907
In my defense I didn't thought that "Join in a swim" = "Make out in the hotsprings"
>>
>>41642240
Anyone else thought so too, or only I missed something?
>>
>>41642240

If you say so, Anon
>>
>>41642266
Well in hindsight, I know it was a pretty dense thing to think. Would have been more suspicious otherwise.
>>
>>41642266

I like to imagine you coming across Edi's pictures and saying, "Yes, I can use these for the Mortal Kombat Quest, this is good"
