>THIRD ROUND
>FIRST TURN

You insulted the people in front of you for daring to surpass and be faster and the losers behind for driving so slowly. Everybody but your team and specially you was a complete and absolute loser, a waste of oxygen.

Winning, winning and winning was the only thought that was in your mind. Your heart was pumping hard and fast. Drug filled blood was being increasingly pumped into your system, erasing any kind of rational thought from your mind and turning you more and more savage as the time went by.

“FUKKEN XENOSS!!” Someone screamed behind, you yelled with him and soon your entire trukk was a scream wagon.

>THIRD ROUND
>FIRST TURN

"SHOOT THE XENOS BIKE! TURN THEM INTO A PULP!"

With a grunt they all roughly turned around and tried to aim their weapons at the swift and agile jetbike that they and in front. With the great vibrating movement of the ever running trukk aiming and shooting was a nigh impossible task but what happened was something that you could have never predicted.

None of the guns managed to shoot and the only one that did ended exploding due to attrition in the combustion chambers. In less than a second the promethium deposits exploded and turned the petite hive scum into a bright torch, its flames soon started to burn the psyker's strange robes.

Their brutish screams became dying screeches. We had to act fast and quick!

The flamer woman was the first one to perish, her flesh falling from her bones as her fat tissue started to melt and smell like hot butter. The psyker was somewhat lucky, his eyes started to glow and then he completely lost consciousness as he continued to burn.

He ended falling down as his knees lost strength and no matter how hard the two surviving members tried to grab him he fell way too quick for their reflexes.

Like a sack of potatoes he rolled and rolled while still burning and sleeping. It was then when the Morktrukk ran over it while laughing hard.

There was nothing they could have done for those two, so they simply ignored the now perished duo and worked into unjamming their weapons.
>>

>The flamer woman was the first one to perish

>THIRD ROUND
>SECOND TURN ( Eldar )

On your back the clumsy and ignorant humans made one of their endless mistakes; you didn't knew what it was or how it happened but after looking backwards for an instant you were able to see a small explosion of fire forming inside their vehicle.

With your trusty sniper killed you only had your shuriken pistol to defend yourself. What would you do?

>SECOND TURN ( Eldar )

"All who oppose the Eldar will perish!" You scream as the rough words and vowels flow from your vocal chords, you are way more used to speak more complex and melodic Eldar words but still you manage to speak them without a hint of accent, only a crystalline echo that you cannot avoid.

You look backwards and raise your lightweight shuriken pistol as the aiming matrix help you point towards your objective.

>(target’s health points + defense bonus) – (rolled number+ the power of the weapon).
>( 222+5 ) - ( 99+2 ) = 126 HP Left

As you push the trigger the shuriken generator starts to illuminate and hum as it creates disks that are soon after launched towards the crude human made vehicle.

The cutting disks penetrate deep into the hull of the enemy vehicle and cut it to shreds, your shoots are premeditated and they don't touch the mon'keigh. You are superior to them and in these times showing mercy is one of the kindest things one can do.

"HEY YOU, PUMP FUEL INTO DA ENGIN!"

"AYE BOSS!" The boy answered with a guttural and nasal voice as he jumped into the unstable and shaky engine top with a gas can on his free hand.

He first simply tried to pour the combustible liquid into the engine but then he preferred to engulf it and spit to better introduce and spray it into the combustible chambers.

At first he managed to succeed but then with the newly acquired horsepower the driver smashed the pedal and made the exhausts launch fiery columns. The ork that was on the engine lost his balance and ended falling down to be run over shortly afterwards.

>Attack the 'umies in front of you! ( 4d100 )

"SHOOT THEM HUMANS!!!"

When the surviving orks ended laughing from their fallen friend they poorly aimed their guns into the human driven vehicle.

The first Rokkit launcha jammed, the second one failed and his missile ended hitting a gas pipe that shortly after exploded in a blast that somehow didn't harmed anyone. The ork weirdboy classified as kommando that was also on the trukk wasn't to fruitless. He managed to snipe out the rocket launcher wielding human warrior. Only the strange knight and the pilot were surviving so far.

>FOURTH TURN ( Drillzogs! )

You drove madly as your drills left a shower of destruction and sparks behind. In front of you a groggy and confused shoota boy looked around not knowing how he ended falling from his vehicle.

That ork might have survived falling and being run over from his own trukk but your drills wouldn't be so compassionate. Before he could react you ran over him and let the drills turn him into a green and red pulp.

The flamer ork on the shootgun driver tries to shoot but his weapon jams and fails as he starts to have a leak of promethium on its deposit.

The ork that was under the trukk managed to grab onto the vehicle and tried to shoot but his poor aim made him fail every shoot, shortly afterwards his magazine ended and by pure instinct he tried to reload, forgetting that he was supposed to grab onto the vehicle. Obviously and pushed by the inertia he ended falling down once again and dying from his wounds.

The Rokkit launcha wielding ork jammed his junk made explosive launching device and so did his plasma rifle and sniper wielding companions.
>>
There was no real finish line. The ground suddenly ended in a massive hole, surely created by the same nuke of before.

You didn't knew what should be your next act but as you saw the Warmaker plummeting down and the Eldar following it close you didn't doubted it and threw yourself into the dark hole.

After your fall the surviving members came shortly afterwards. It didn't took long until they all started shooting at each other during free fall.

This time instead of falling into a solid ground your vehicle fell into a massive snow deposit that was being pushed by some threads and titanic gear wheels.

Hives are so big that can become massive greenhouses and have way greater temperatures that in the exterior. That's why in some of them there are massive machines that store water and freeze them to different degrees while transporting them all over the hive so the overall temperature reaches habitable levels.

The peace didn't lasted long as the snow slowly started accumulating. All around the heads of feral orks started poking out wondering who you all were.

All around you there was nothing but snow.

The snow blizzards around you, visibility is none and luckily your enemies won't be able to see either. This is the closest thing you will have to some rest. Meanwhile you better try to look your vehicle and repair any damage it has.

After looking it under the heavy snow you see that besides the crystal shurikens in the front side and a few bumps there isn't much more around. Best thing you can do now is carefully remove the shurikens.

>Look for an alternate path.
While repairing the Trukk you have been scooping around and trying to see where in the warp are you now.

It looks like you are in some kind of moving platform that transports ice and snow, surely into some kind of grinder that turns it into dust that can be easily rained over the heat spewing machines to cool them down.

>Try to leave your enemies behind, the race isn't over.
Right now being stopped is a death sentence, you better move as fast as you can. After checking that the knight you carry is still with you and alive you kick the accelerator and drive in the same direction as the moving platform, gaining a lot of acceleration in a short time.

Just as you predicted those ice and snow carrying platforms ended abruptly into a massive spinning fan that grind it down into a fine dust. A skimmer trike with tried to run behind to hunt you but ended falling into the fan and had its guts and blood mixed with the snow below, giving it a light reddish tone.

Not knowing where to go you ended ramming the doors of a door that was supposed to lead to some stairs. To your surprise those stairs had been demolished long ago it now ended into an open area.

Once again you found yourself falling into a free fall, this time surrounded by orkcopters and other flying vehicles. In the distance you managed to see what seemed like some ash wastes and an incoming storm.
>>
>>41732675
You were close enough to them to feel their stinky breathing on your skin. At the end and looking at how they were crazy enough to try to hit you with their crude swords while still driving their flying apparatuses you ended swinging your chainsword at them in a desperate attempt to parry their psychotic instincts.

Luckily for you they had no chance of manically plunge their swords into your flesh. Your vehicle fell into a crystal roof that had some train rails under them. The knight fell during the impact and apparently broke his legs, behind you the chiming and broken sound of a train honk exploded in your ears, there was no time to rescue him.

Luckily for you the last traces of the drugs on your bloodstream made you feel no remorse for leaving the Feudal Knight behind and left for dead in a world that he doesn't comprehend on a situation that he cannot comprehend.

Besides, he was the worthless member in all the team, all he did was jam his autogun non-stop and when it came to construct the vehicle of all the workers he was the one that failed most of the tasks.

The only member you might miss was the guardsman that taught you how things worked in there and the petite yet rough flamer wielding hiver...you should have taken the guardsman advice into account and asked her to give you some sexual favors when you had the chance.

As you accelerated and drove in the rails you started to see the silhouette of the train getting closer and closer. The dumb knight was standing on a combat pose with his claymore raised and yelling things in a broken and archaic high-gothic about slaying the oncoming beast and meeting a loved one on the other side.

To your surprise his rants about meeting a beast weren't so wrong, the tribe that had occupied the hive were from the Snakebites klan who were known for their tech-phobia and tribal mannerisms. The train they were using was indeed made from an old train but pushed by giant boars that were painted red.
>>
>>41733099
The knight managed to cripple and cut the leg of one before being crushed under their hooves and eaten alive shortly afterwards.

The train tunnels were in a pretty good state, they were surely so ample and long that the orks didn't had enough time to desecrate them. After gaining enough speed you managed drive on the walls and finally on the ceiling, then you made a very risk maneuver and used the brakes until they exploded while tilting the Trukk at the same time.

Somehow it worked as the deceleration made you land on top of the train. Your Trukk was somewhat damaged but still in working condition, it needs to cool down thought.

>Try to use some of the leftover snow that its on the Trukk to better cool down the engines.

You grabbed all the snow and placed it one the obsidian black and cracked engine, from its cracks a green and ethereal energy poured along with strange whispering sounds.

The snow wouldn't repair it but at least it could let it work for a little longer. As soon as the snow touched the engine it melted and evaporated afterwards, yet the engine was cool to the touch.

After all the snow was liquefied you didn't had another option but to squat on top of the engine, remove your robes and drip it on. Shortly afterwards and thanks to the incoming wind from the moving train the vehicle cooled.

The train didn't took long into leaving the Hive and head into the formless wastes. All your eyes could see were some ash wastes formed thanks to years of pollution and smog pilling up in the enviroment, here and there some tar pits appeared and on them strange alien creatures.

And on the distance the storm again, bigger than before and with some spinning tendrils descending until they reached the ground. The tornadoes soon fussed with the ash and growth in girth and ferocity. The train was directly heading into the storm, above your heard the Ork Krooza flew by with the same course.

Around you ork jets and helicopters started to flew and tried to reach you, surely to shoot you down. Not far away the surviving racers also made their appearance.

>Leave the train and use the Trukk to meet the other racers.

Somewhat rested but still pumped with adrenaline and wishing to end the race you prepare your acid spitting plasma rifle and your phospex gun.

Aiming upwards you charge your gun and make the necesary calculations so the plasma sphere arches and descends up ahead. After shooting a few times and seeing how the green balls of liquid sunfire ascend you nod proudly and grab your phospex gun to shoot the boars.

You don't want to outright kill them, the would simply stop the train and leave the orks it carries inside mildly confused and pretty angry. Oh no, what you have planned is way better.

After shooting a few times the blue-green fire of the phosphorous chemicals impregnated the skin and fur of the boars and turned them into frenzied balls of fire than ran faster than ever. The orks inside didn't knew what was going on but they cared not, they would surely believe its all thanks to the machinations of one of their psykers.

As you jumped into your Trukk and jumped out of the train you drove parallel to the train, it went faster and faster up to the point in which even your mighty vehicle had trouble to keep its pace.

Then it happened, the balls of plasma that you had launched before had been corroding the rails and turning them into a ball of melted metal and debris. When the enraged and tortured boars reached that point the crash launched all the train cars flying away, surely killing
>>
>>41733976
everybody inside in the process.

You drove recklessly steering the wheel with one hand and using the phospex gun with the other. All around you train cars and orks fell violently, only to find their demise at your trigger finger.

The tornadoes and the storm where now close than ever, the Ork spaceship plunged directly into the cloud shroud, behind it an anorexic and bony dragon like creature followed behind, leaving massive tar drops behind.

>Try to find other vehicles and finish them off.
>Try to study the xenos dragon closely to see what it is and what he does.

>Try to study the xenos dragon closely to see what it is and what he does.

You placed a weight on the accelerator and focused your lenses into the flying creature that was following the Krooza.

Now that you could see better you noticed that the spaceship wasn't only flying but also firing massive shells at the winged creature that flawlessly avoided the shells with spinning maneuvers.

The creature seemed to know the desert, it could be that it was a prehistoric creature that became trapped in a glacier during some ice age and returned to life after an accelerated thawing produced by the pollution and industrialism. It wouldn't be the first case registered of something like that happening during the recorded history of the Imperium.

Whatever it is it is attacking the spaceship you came in, becoming a dangerous elements that might thwart your chances of returning at some point.

>Study the storm and see if you can use their currents to gain speed and ascend and reach the Krooza.

Karelia really had no leg to stand on to save us. But yes miffed.

>Study the storm and see if you can use their currents to gain speed and ascend and reach the Krooza.

You grab all the remaining fuel and place it on the driver seat with a pump connected directly onto the engine. That way it will pour all the promethium until it became empty or the engine exploded, whatever came first.

With the weight on the pedal and the barrel on the seat you could get on top of it to better study the storm. For the first time in a long time you were able to freely spread your wings.

After studying the storm for long enough you noticed that there was some kind of pattern and what the different tornadoes spinning directions were.

Trying to do complex calculus and mathematics while on combat drugs wasn't an easy task, it took you longer than usual but at the end your mind won over your heart. You looked down at the engine and saw it full of cracks that spilled green energy, it wouldn't take it long until it exploded.

Looking behind you noticed that the rest of the racers were far behind, with maybe the exception of the pesky Eldar.

As you jumped and started flying the Trukk exploded in a ball of green gaussian energy that turned the ash and sand it exploded at into a small dune of obsidian crystal.
>>

Shortly flying you plunged into the first tornado, you tried to remember the course you had to follow over and over. The strength of the air currents was incredibly strong and more than once you felt as if your limbs would end flying away from your body and ripped in an instant.

Just as you were about to reach the hull of the Kill Kroozer the dragonoid creature flew close to you, sending a wave of air behind and completely wrecking your flying course.

You fell down spinning uncontrollably but at the end you managed to stabilize yourself. A streak of luck gave you the chance of entering again as the orks finally managed to shoot down the creature.

After doing so they proceeded to land into some plains, probably to repair but also to act as some kind of finish line. Before they landed you managed to reach it and enter into inside via a hatch.

Once inside you walked into the same hangar chamber in which the Warboss did his speech. During your trip you walked into several kind of orkoids, the gretchings ran away scared, some of the boyz simply ignored you and the most cocky ones insulted you, only to be finished by one of your many weapons soon afterwards. By the time you reached the Warboss you had killed at least five boyz and gained the respect of two Meks.

"Oi! What yer doin' ere?"

"There was a race and I raced. Here I am."

"WAAGH! Dis 'humie is a kunning one! You betta be a brutal one too be'cus the others won't like to know dat they have already lose!"

Using your dendrites you raised your several weapons and used your hand to carry you recently acquired plasma cannon.

"Let them come, i'll be waitin'" Of course it was the drugs and the adrenaline the ones that were talking now.

Just as you said this you headed into your garage and locked it all as best as you could. You needed to sleep.

Alright. I'll end it for today. We have completed the first stage of the Ork Race. There will be 3 stages in total, each one orkier than the last one. I have learned that my homebrew system fucking sucks so I will not use it anymore.

As usual 30 minutes for questions, suggestions or whatever you want. Thanks for playing!!
>>
>>41734933
Thanks for running, it wasn't as bad as some people were making out though. I'd say that simply having our crew die quite so readily at the start was the worst part of it. I know the guns are orky and all but the tendency to explode and kill everything was kinda too high even for that in my opinion
>>
>>41734933
>>41734988
Yeah I liked the system, it was right orky, it just seemed that critical weapon failure occurred too often, so that could be adjusted.
>>
>>41734933
The fact people died so readily and that everyone got more turns than us made it kinda suck.

Still thanks for running! Please tell me We'll get more crew and can repair our buggy.
>>
>>41735081
I know it was flawed, still on such a race were most racers are orks it is obvious that our protagonists would be in disadvantage.

We will get more people yes, do not try to become their friends though, you have seen how fast does people die there. Our trukk has exploded and has become deatomized thanks to the Necron Gauss engines. We will have to get a new one, sorry.
>>
>>41735143
trukk building was fun.
>>
My only real problem with it is that we controlled all of the Racers at once slowed us down to a Crawl>>41735143
>>
>>41735143
orks it is obvious that our protagonists would be in disadvantage.

Still them taking 2-3 turns to our one means they can kill us, fix themselves and pass us. It's like missing 3 turns in a 40k game, you lose period.

I hope we roll well for the new trukk.

Here is also another map that I was going to use, the players were supposed to use the shitty roads and ramps that went above the walls to quickly cross the hospital, if they fell they would have to cross a labyrinth of corridors. Since we aren't going to use it anymore everybody is free to use it to whatever it wants.

>>41735224
Yeah, controlling all at once was slugging it but it made it way more fun in my opinion.

>>41735254
Once again, I'm sorry. I have learned from my mistake.
