You are Jareth, Disciple of Elshhu, Goddess of the Beauteous Form. You awaken with a start, and get to enjoy that nostalgic feeling of waking up in incredible pain. Picking yourself up, wincing as you feel a twinge in your ribs, you let the covers fall away, inspecting your bandaged form. Looks like you bled a little overnight, but nothing too serious, though you can't imagine Isea will be happy about what it did to her sheets.

Glancing around you see no sign of your host, though you think you hear movement in the next room. Your body has that unpleasant stiffness that comes with being down to the last dregs of mana, a sort of mundane weight and weariness settling in without the arcane energy you're accustomed to.

The room is cool, shutters opened a crack, letting in a shaft of sunlight and the noises of the early morning rush to work. All the tedious guildsmen off to make shoes or write reports on those who make shoes, or whatever it is they do for a living. Makes you glad to be a deadbeat, though you doubt most guildsmen have to deal with back alley brawls with giant magical lizard people either.

Hopefully Elsie did what she said, warned the rest that the cult might be coming for them too, for whatever bizarre reason. You'd give your sister a good shot at dealing with one of those lizard priests, provided he didn't get the drop on her, but Valia, Iden and Razi, you really can't see them coming out of an encounter like that in one piece. You wants to go find out right away that they're safe, but you don't have a clue where Iden and Razi stay, and right now with the state you're in, your options would be limited to bleeding aggressively on your enemies. Hopefully the cult won't pull anything during the daytime, but... well, crazy lizard cults are not known predominantly for their good sense.

You don't have enough mana left in your system to fix up your wounds any further, it's either natural healing or getting some more mana back. Resting is just that, resting.

Swinging your legs over the side of the bed, you slide off the mattress and to your feet. It doesn't make you feel any better, that's for sure, but at least you can now stand unaided. You glance at the neatly folded pile of bloody, ragged clothing on a chair in the corner, but decide against it, it's nothing Isea hasn't seen before, and dressing yourself right this second does not sound like a fun time. Instead, you make your way over to the door, wincing as your leg wound makes its presence felt with every step.

Isea glances over as you push through the door, the blonde barmaid giving you a worried smile as you step out into the front room.

“You sure you should be up and about?” she asks, busying herself making breakfast for the two of you, by the looks of it.

“As much fun as letting you nurse me back to health sounds, I can't let a little thing like this keep me bedridden,” you shrug, resting your weight against the back of a cracked old chest of drawers with your palm.

Isea gives you a doubtful look, but shrugs, going back to busying herself at the counter.

“Looks like you didn't lose too much blood, anyway, judging by that,” she giggles, pointing a wooden spoon down at your morning wood, which is showing the resilience that you've come to expect from it.

“I figured I'd send what I had left to the important places,” you smile, walking across the room to stand next to Isea, leaning against the counter as you peer down at the stew she's making. Smells good.

“It'll be ready in a minute, you can go sit down if you want, or go back to bed, I'll bring it in,” she explains, eyes fixed on the pot.

I wonder how old our mom is.
And what Valia's parent(s?) are like.
>>
>>42026714
Only one way to find out. Well there's a few, but the more direct way would be the funniest way for obvious reasons.
>>
>>42026757
I really am just wondering what her parents' personalities and attitudes are like, to know how they'd react to Valia wanting to play with Jareth in more ways than one.
>>
>>42026771
I feel like they'd be distant and not around a lot or just don't care for Valia much. Like she was raised by servants doing their jobs and not out of any real concern.

I don't know how I came to this idea, and am probably totally wrong but I just got that vibe I suppose.

You slip around behind Isea, wrapping your arms around her middle, the blonde woman glancing back over her shoulder with a smile as she feels you press up against her.

“I still owe you some thanks for looking after me.”

“Two problems, one, you do not look up to anything energetic right now, two, the stew will burn,” Isea giggles, trying to nudge you away with a light bump of her ass.

“Not a problem, I wouldn't want to get in the way of you making breakfast,” you reply, letting your hands slip away from her middle.

“Once you're all better, then you can make it up to me.”

Isea turns her attention back to the stew, while you glance down at the counter. It's little more than a wooden shelf propped up by some solid legs, the space underneath is more than large enough for you, and pretty clean too. Isea turns away to grab something from further down the counter, and you slip under the counter, wincing at the sudden movement.

It's all worth it though, as Isea turns back to her stew none the wiser to your stealthy actions as you sneak along under the counter, hearing her humming to herself overhead. She's wearing nothing but a light robe, tied at the waist, enjoying the summer heat in her apartment. All the better for you. You shuffle into position in front of her, letting your hands rest against her bare calves.

Isea gives a start as she feels you hands, her hand resting against the counter edge as she peers down under it.

“Jareth?”

“You carry on, pretend I'm not here,” you grin, letting your hands slide up her legs, along the soft thighs, coming to rest on the curve of her hips.

“Something tells me that will be easier said than done.”

“Don't let your stew burn,” you smile, one hand slipping from her hip to tug at the loose knot of her robe, the fabric slipping away as it comes loose, exposing her bare slit, crowned with a small patch of neatly trimmed blonde hair.

>>
>>42026938
“This is really sweet of you, but there's really no need to,” Isea starts, as you lean forward, her voice giving way to a happy sigh as you plant a kiss against the inside of her thigh, just above the knee, nipping gently at the pale flesh.

“No need, but I like to show my appreciation,” you reply, breaking off for a moment, before leaning in again, drawing a line of kisses up her thigh, your hands sliding round under the open robe to caress her plush cheeks.

Isea giggles, one hand gripping the edge of the counter as she continues her work, her breath starting to quicken as you work your way up towards your prize. Your lips trail along her thigh, circling her slit, her lips growing wet as you tease her, drawing close only to pull back again.

Her hand slips from the edge of the counter, reaching down to your head, none too subtly trying to push you towards her pussy, seems your partner is a bit on the impatient side, well, that's fine with you. Smirking, you bring your mouth over her lips, feeling a shudder run through her as your hot breath tickles the sensitive folds. Leaning forward, you drag your tongue up the length of it, Isea giving a little gasp as you flick against her swollen button.

You hear Isea's attempts to keep stirring the stew become more and more erratic as you push your tongue deeper, tasting her sweetness and feeling the burning heat of her crotch as you explore her folds, stopping only to suck and lick at her clit, Isea's voice growing huskies and her moans more pronounced with every moment.

Soon the pretense of stirring the stew collapses entirely, Isea's other hand joining her first as she grips the back of your head tight, fingers running through your hair as her hips buck against your face. You don't let up the assault, your hands squeezing her buttocks tight, your face buried in her groin as you lick, suck and kiss relentlessly, her juices wet on your chin.

>>
>>42026947
With a hoarse cry, Isea's fingers tense against your scalp, her crotch grinding against you as you bring her to an explosive orgasm. You relax a little, giving your shuddering partner some light laps as she comes down off of her high, the taste of her juices heady and overpowering on your tongue.

Her hands slip from your head, Isea leaning against the counter as she catches her breath, while you slip out from under the counter, wiping your mouth.

“F-fuck, that was...” she gasps, trying to catch her breath.

Glancing past her, you take hold of the wooden spoon, stirring the stew and smirking as she tries to catch her breath. Looks like you managed it in time, and you take the stew off the fire, pouring it out into a pair of bowls as Isea shuffles over to the chair, robe still open, flopping down in it to catch her breath.

“Is that something they teach you at the temple?” she smiles, chest still heaving as you take a taste of the stew from the spoon, not bad, though it's a bit of a shame you have to overpower the other pleasant taste in your mouth.

“Elshhu approves greatly of her priests having good oral technique... can't imagine why,” you grin, sitting down next to her, passing her the bowl.

You're feeling better already, you're still far from filled up on mana, but the weariness fades as the drifting currents of arousal and emotion swirling around the room soak into your body.

You let the newly absorbed mana flow through your body, pooling at your injuries, healing the damaged flesh, stitching up the skin, leaving nothing but a slight ache in its place, which should fade within an hour or two.

Smiling, you lean back in your chair, you and Isea enjoying your stew in silence.

“You're already looking better,” Isea smiles, setting down the bowl and glancing over at you as you start to unwind the bandages.

“...completely better, in fact,” she continues, raising her eyebrows as you reveal the undamaged skin.

“Magic,” you nod sagely, Isea giving a slow nod in response, you suppose with all the adventurers and strange types she deals with on Glimmer Street, she's seen odder uses of magic than that.

“So what're you going to do now?”

“Well, I should go check up on my friends before too long, did Elsie come back yet?”

Isea shakes her head, rising from her seat and gathering up the bowls, taking them back over to the counter.

“No, she's usually back sometime around this time,” she replies, and on cue, you hear the front door opening, Elsie stepping inside and shutting it behind her, her bag still slung over her shoulder. She looks the same as always, some darker circles under her eyes the only sign of her tiredness.

Elsie wanders into the front room, glancing around. Isea gives an awkward smile, doing up her robe, her darker skinned housemate eyeing the two of you impassively, her eyes straying down to your groin, where you suppose you are still naked. After a few moments, her eyes rise back up to your face, Elsie putting her bag down on the table.

“You're better,” she comments, more a statement than a question.

“Much better, thanks to Isea,” you smile, as Elsie nods, eyes drifting to the stew pot on the counter.

>>
>>42027457
“I saved enough for you, don't worry,” Isea smiles, pouring out another bowl for her housemate as Elsie takes a seat across from you, evidently unconcerned by your nudity.

“I went to see your friend and sister, they were both fine when I saw them, so I gave them the message,” Elsie explains, nodding her thanks as Isea deposits a bowl of stew in front of her.

“That's good, no trouble I hope?”

“Your sister was very pleasant, a little disappointed that I couldn't stay longer, and worried about you, but I told her you were fine. You should go see her soon though, she seemed upset when I described the full extent of your injuries.”

“You could've softened the description a little,” Isea sighs, frowning at Elsie as she takes a mouthful of her stew, chewing it ponderously.

“Why? I didn't know Jareth could heal, so I expected her to find out for herself soon enough,” Elsie replies, after a long pause to swallow the stew.

“See this sort of thing is why you don't date,” Isea groans, Elsie turning her attention back to her stew for another long pause.

“...and Valia?” you ask at last, when it becomes obvious that the pause won't be ending any time soon.

“Her family was not eager to let me in, and she was busy when I reached her, but I delivered your message regardless,” Elsie shrugs, gulping down the last of the stew.

>>42027467
“I owe you one for that, Elsie, both of you. If you ever need to make use of my incredible talents, you just have to ask,” you smile, it's a weight off your mind to know that they were safe then at least, and got your warning.

“Incredible talents?” Elsie asks, setting the bowl aside, staring at you.

“...is that a sex thing?”

“It could very well be a sex thing,” you nod, a look of mock seriousness on your face.

“I'd rather save the favor for a non-sex thing, after all, you do the sex thing for free,” Isea giggles.

“I will remember your offer, but now I need to rest,” Elsie nods, picking herself up, grabbing her bag and heading for her room.

“Later Elsie,” Isea smiles, Elsie giving a vague wave as she steps into her room and shuts the door.

“So what now? I got someone to cover the morning for me if you want to stay here for a while, but I've got to go in a couple of hours,” Isea asks, turning her attention back to you.

“Sorry Isea, but I should really go check on Rihara and Valia,” you give an apologetic smile, heading back to her room and gathering up your clothes, which are still ragged and bloodstained, but you don't have much of an alternative right now.

Isea follows you in, leaning against the doorframe and watching as you dress.

“I understand, but don't be a stranger, next time you come visiting I might just pay you back for earlier,” Isea smiles, touching a finger to your chest, sliding down to brush past your cock.

“Lucky me,” you smile, wrapping your hands around Isea's waist, pulling her into a kiss, her lips parting at your tongue meets hers, her hand sliding around the back of your neck as your tongues entwine.

You draw back a few moments later, letting your hands slip from her waist.

“Until next time, Isea,” you grin, Isea giving a blush as you step past her out into the main room, heading for the door.

The question now is, who do you go see first? Valia is closer, but it's a nice neighbourhood, and your current state of dress is sure to attrack some concerns with the guild guards, nevermind Valia's family. You will, a slight detour will take you through a street market where you can pick something up.
>>
You're worried about both of them, but Valia is closer, so going to her first makes the most sense, scooping up the lizard-priest's staff from where it rests against the wall, you step outside, shutting the door behind you. It's a warm, clear day, and if not for the smell of smoke and metal seeping in from the foundry district it would be a perfect morning. Of course that also means that there's a lot of people out on the streets, and you give the shocked passersby a friendly nod as you start off down the road, your clothes shredded and bloody, a giant staff slung over your shoulders.

Knowing what you do about the Spark District, you know that it's the sort of place that the guild guards actually give a damn, so walking through dressed like this might be an issue, no matter how damned good you make it look. Fortunately, you know a street market that should be in full swing by this time just a few streets over, shouldn't cost you much to pick up something to at least cover the rags you're wearing.

The street market on St. Pocler's Street is as chaotic as ever. It's mostly clothes, tacky jewelry and food stalls, and after a bit of walking you find a balding hobbit man sat on a high stool behind his stall, a wide array of cloaks, ponchos and hats laid out before him.

“Hello there friend, looks like you're in need of what I'm offering, unless this is some new undertow fashion I've missed out on,” he chuckles, gesturing to his stock.

“Rough night partying, you know how it is,” you grin, looking over the items.

“Bah, I haven't know how that is in twenty years with the short leash my wife has me on, something tells me your parties would've been a bit to rough for me even in my younger days anyway,” the hobbit snorts, as you pick up one of the ponchos, light and airy, which is good, it's a little too warm for one of the thicker cloaks.

(cont)
>>
>>42028637
“Alright, how much for this,” you nod.

“Two gold.”

You glance down at the poncho in your hand, frowning.

“I had no idea there were diamonds sewn into the hem...”

“Fine, fine, one gold, but only because I feel sorry for you,” the hobbit grumbles, as you pass him a gold piece with a grin.

“Appreciate it, good luck with the wife,” you smirk, donning the poncho as you walk away.

From there, it isn't a long walk back to the fancier spark district, the tightly packed apartments and storefronts giving way to proper houses, you remember the way to Valia's well enough, and while the staff across your shoulders still attracts a few curious stares, you don't get stopped by the guild guards.

Valia's house is quite an impressive affair compared to the sorts of places you're used to, three storeys tall and, you'd guess, even coming with its own garden. It doesn't look like there's been any sort of disturbance here, which is a good sign, so you step up to the door, knocking on it. A few moments later, a tall, stick thin man answers, his carefully trimmed moustache twisting into an expression of disapproval as he takes you in. Or jealousy... probably jealousy.

“Can I help you?”

“Good morning, I'm a friend of Valia's came to check up on her,” you smile, as the man's eyes narrow.

“Unfortunately the young miss is not available for visitors today, she is currently studying, as per her mother's instructions,” he frowns.

“Well then, can I speak to her mother about making an exception?”

The man's frown deepens, his moustache eclipsing his thin lips as he glowers.

“I am afraid that lady Einrich is not available to see you at present, perhaps if you make an appointment she can see you another time,” he explains, his eyes drifting past you to the guild guard on the corner.

Tapping the staff against your shoulder, you contemplate whether yanking off his moustache would expedite the situation, however before such thoughts can be put into deeply satisfying action, you head another voice from behind the man.

“Formes, is there a visitor for me?” the man turns to a figure out of view.

“Lady Einrich, it is no-one of importance, a... gentleman... claiming to be a friend of the young miss,” he explains.

“Well let me see this visitor then,” the imperious voice replies, as the door is swung open fully.

Well now, if Valia's going to still be looking this good in twenty years, she's definitely a keeper. You can see the family resemblance, the button nose and heart-shaped face, the light brown hair, hers done up in some expensive style, and the magnificent curves, which the lady of the house has seen fit to squeeze into an expensive, puffy yet still pleasantly figure hugging dress.

“You must be... Iden?” she asks, peering at you.

“Jareth, a pleasure to meet you, Lady Einrich,” you smile.

“Jareth? Hmm, you don't look at all how Talis described you. Well, no matter, you are here for some reason relating to my daughter no doubt?” Lady Einrich asks, while the man you are assuming is the butler, Formes, loiters awkwardly by her side.

(cont)
>>
>>42029222
“Just coming by for a visit,” you reply with a shrug.

“Ah, I'm afraid my daughter is busy with her studies at present, as you may know, we are hoping she can finish her education with the bolter guild, and with her wasting so much time tramping around in tombs and whatnot, it's only fair that she sets her nose to the grindstone the rest of the time.”

You nod slowly, while Valia's mother is being polite enough, at least compared to her butler, you can't help but sense the undertone of disapproval at Valia's new interest in adventuring, and of you as a part of it.

“I take it she goes get breaks, I can wait a while if it's a problem,” you smile.

Lady Einrich looks you up and down, a thin and emotionless smile playing across her lips.

“Yes, I suppose that would be polite, please, come in, Formes can fix you some tea if you like,” she nods, the butler giving you a hostile glare as he steps aside to let you into the house.

The front hall is massive, bearing paintings of family members, pre-goblin mainland scenes, and framed plaques of awards. Lady Einrich guides you through the hallway, each step perfectly measured, and her curvy rear giving a pleasing little jiggle with every motion. You'd have thought Formes might react to your eyeing up his employer, but he seems to be even more fixated on the movements than you are, you suppose that explains his defensive attitude.

“You can wait in the drawing room if you wish,” she explains, gesturing to a door to her side, Formes stepping off into another room, presumably to make the promised tea. Lady Einrich looks set to walk away as well, you suppose you're being left alone to wait.

You suppose you should try to make a good first impression on Valia's mother, so resisting the urge to flirt, you give her a smile, opening the door to the drawing room, taking a moment to admire her figure once more as she walks away. She must have had Valia quite young, you doubt she was any older than Valia is now, probably younger. You suppose magic could be involved in her youthful features, but you don't really get that impression, that sort of thing always leaves some subtle hints.

The drawing room is as fancy as the rest of the house, several plush, embroidered chairs set around a fireplace, the walls bedecked in more paintings and awards. You take a moment to look a little closer, hanging over the fireplace is a painting of what must be Valia's family, her mother looking a little younger but still very much the same, her father a dour and barrel-chested man with a neatly trimmed beard, and an little girl who can only be Valia, looking a little rounder in her childhood due to a combination of her usual chubbiness and puppy fat which has faded over the years, the younger Valia putting on a shy smile.

Turning from that, your attention drifts to the awards, it seems that Valia's family are involved in domestic artifact production with the Arcana Guild. You don't see a great many such things in the poorer districts, but they're still widespread enough that the Arcana Guild is a powerful, influential guild nipping at the heels of the guild council. Evidently Valia's parents are quite highly placed in the guild, not in the highest echelons of power, but there's enough awards for service, achievement and excellence here that you suspect they have a lot of pull.

Formes steps into the room, walking stiffly over to a chair-side table and placing a cup of tea neatly on it, before turning and walking out without a word.

“Appreciate it, Formy,” you call, the only sign of the butler's irritation being a slight tensing of his shoulders as the door swings shut.

Chuckling, you take a sip of the tea, it's weak as hell, you suppose that's what counts for a vicious slight to a man like Formes. Slumping down in one of the incredibly comfy chairs, you take another sip of the watery tea before setting it aside. You're still quite tired from healing up your injuries, so you don't mind the chance to relax a bit.

Unfortunately, “a bit” quickly turns into a very long time, you must've been here for over an hour by now, and seem to have been stashed away in here to be forgotten about. There's been no sign of Valia, Lady Einrich, or the butler in all this time, aside from the occasional sound of footsteps from elsewhere in the house.

Yeah, no, you've waited long enough, time to go look around. Leaving the cold cup of tea behind, you open the drawing room door, stepping out into the hall.

There's no sign of Valia's mother, or anyone else for that matter, so you wander off down the hallway, stepping out into a larger open area. Looking around, you can see a large set of stairs on the far side of the hallway, you would suspect that Valia's room would be upstairs, alternatively you could look around down here, maybe you'll run into Valia's mother, or a servant who could give you a tour, they can't all be as bad as Formes, after all.

Well that'd give us massive blackmail material I doubt it. Butler was lusting over her too much, and doing that while an Elshuan is in the building is asking to get caught.
>>
Ignoring the stairs for now, you decide to have a look around down here. Despite the size of the house, there seems to be very little activity around the place, and you wander for a while, opening doors and peering into various rooms.

While it's quite an impressive sight, and the pastry you swiped out of the kitchen is quite nice, you can't help but feel like you're wasting time down here. Closing the kitchen door behind you, you wander along to the next one, glancing into a dining room, also empty, a large crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, though given the lack of candles set into it, you suppose it must be magically activated.

Next you open the door to a library, a long, cavernous room filled with rows and rows of shelves. Stepping inside, you wander down the rows, glancing around, if there's one place you can imagine finding Valia, it's a library.

Unfortunately, it isn't Valia that you run into, but a man perhaps a couple of years older than her, shoulder length hair swept back from his face, pouring over some book, his lips pursed in an exaggerated expression of concentration. While his features are a little sharper, you can still see something of a family resemblance to Valia and her mother in the man, though since he wasn't in the family portrait, you're assuming he's not a brother.

Without looking up from the book, he points a finger in your direction, turning a page.

“You... are not someone that I know, you are not a servant, and you do not look like the sort of people that my aunt and uncle usually associate with. Therefore...”

He turns another page, his finger still pointing at you as his other hand traces down the page.

“...you must be a burglar.”

“That's quite a conclusion to reach,” you smirk, taking the seat opposite him, as he lets his pointing finger drop back to the table.

Not really.
We have no proof.
It'd be out word against theirs.
And I think we both know whose word would matter more between an influential, rich family, and some young priest of a fairly disliked religion.
>>
>>42031241
“An accurate one, since you have evidently pilfered that pastry from the kitchen.”

You shrug, glancing down at your half-finished meal. “I'd say it's an unsuccessful burglar who breaks into a house like this and makes off with a single pastry.”

“Be that as it may, that is most assuredly theft, which is an act by which one may identify a burglar.”

Compared to Valia's shyness and her mother's overly proper manner, it seems that your party member's cousin is quite an odd one. You look down from your pastry, to him.

“If I share it with you, is it still theft?”

“Not only theft, but bribery,” he nods, lifting one hand and turning it palm up, taking the pastry as you drop it into his hand, and gulping the remainder down in a single bite.

“So, aside from committing various crimes on the premises, what are you doing here?”

“I came to visit Valia, and to make a good first impression on her family, of course,” you shrug, leaning forward to peer at the book Valia's cousin is reading. It all looks like gibberish to you, advanced magical theory, the kind of thing that you ignore in favor of a more creative approach, but the magical guilds do love to complicate things.

“Hmm, how did that go?”

“Not to well on either count, I'd wager. I'm also fairly certain that the butler wants my head.”

Valia's cousin shrugs, flipping to the next page.

“Formes wants every man's head who comes through this door. Tragic fellow, it's a testament to my aunt's self-absorbed nature that she hasn't noticed the way he pines after her. He even thinks I'm trying to steal her away, imagine that.”

(cont)
>>
>>42031266
“I don't have difficulty imagining that,” you chuckle, as Valia's cousin sets a bookmark in the corner of the page, closing the book and looking up at you for the first time.

“You must be Jareth, you look a lot more like Valia's description of you than Talis', quite an attractive man, no wonder Aunt Lyria disapproves,” he nods, sizing you up, placing his hands to the edge of the table and rising to his feet.

“So, you came here to see Valia, and instead you are wandering the halls making off with baked goods and bribing members of her family. I suppose that, for the safety of the rest of the kitchen stock, I should show you to my dear cousin. Unless you would rather go and explain your absence from whatever dark corner my aunt left you in to gather dust to her first?”

“Let's just go see Valia, perhaps I'll save talking to your aunt for another time,” you reply, shaking your head.

“Understandable. In her defense, you being left to your own devices for all this time may not entirely be an effort to snub you, she does get rather absorbed in her work,” Valia's cousin explains, striding across the library towards the door in loud, heavy steps.

“Do you spend much time here then?”

“Some, my own parents lack a library of their own, and going all the way to the guild library is an annoyance. I spend my time here, ensuring that the books do not gather too much dust, and that my aunt, uncle and dear cousin are not allowing their various quirks to destabilize the bring about their own dissatisfaction and unhappiness,” he replies, leading you over to the stairs, as you bite your tongue on the matter of Valia's cousin being in a position to comment on other people's quirks.

“Valia seems balanced enough to me, shy maybe, but that's hardly cause for alarm,” you reply, as the two of you head up the stairs.

“She does seem to have perked up considerably since she began this adventuring business with you. It is fortunate for your sake that she did, else I might have reacted to your pastry theft more violently.”

“Looks like I lucked out there, don't think I caught your name though,” you smirk, as you reach the top of the stairs, Valia's cousin turning the corner and mounting another set of stairs up to the top floor.

“Ah, yes, I suppose that rather slipped my mind, I am Remus, I'm sure it's a great pleasure for both of us,” he replies, an offered hand jabbing out from his side as he attempts to continue up the stairs and shake hands with you without turning around.

“Jareth, though you already knew that,” you reply, catching the bobbing hand and shaking it.

“I did, yes, and here we are,” Remus replies, striding down the hallway, pointing to a door at the far end.

“There was that one time-” Remus starts, before being cut off by a gasp as Valia spots you.

“J-jareth, you're here, you're alright, I was so worried,” she beams, rushing past Remus to lock you in a tight hug, her soft body squishing against you in a very pleasant way.

“Please, it would take more than that to keep me down for long,” you smile, returning the hug, Remus seeming rather disinterested in the whole thing as he peers into the room behind her, giving a 'hmm', before turning to face the pair of you.

“Well, there you go, I have reunited the two of you, and may I add that it was a very touching reuinion to witness. Do bear in mind however that Aunt Lyria and Formes are in the building today, so it might be wise not to be overly noisy,” he explains.

“It was good meeting you Remus,” you nod, stepping aside to let him by.

“Likewise, Jareth, now if you will excuse me, I have all the thrill and excitement of two chapters on structural geomancy to work my way through,” Remus replies, giving Valia a light pat on the head, to her obvious embarrassment, before striding off down the hallway once more with his usual heavy footfalls.

“S-so, would you, um, would you like to come in?” Valia asks, nudging her door open.

Smiling, you step inside. Valia's room is quite spacious, and pretty much what you expected, equal parts girly and academic, stacks of heavy leatherbound books stacked on haphazardly across her floor and strewn across the covers of her fluffy, four-poster bed between the various stuffed animals. Her walls are covered in paintings of natural scenes, most likely taken from the less populated surrounding isles.

“Your, um, your friend came to visit last night, and said you were in some trouble, a-and that I might be in some... some trouble, um, she wasn't very clear about the kind of trouble,” Valia asks, giving you a worried look as you glance at the pile of empty confectionery papers and the half-finished cake on her desk, Valia flushing deeply as she sweeps the papers into a bin.

“Oh, w-well she certainly made sure your message got through, your friend did, um... I wasn't really expecting someone to, well, to knock on my window in the night... considering...”

Considering it's the third storey. You really should ask Elsie or Isea about exactly what sort of job Elsie does at night, something tells you that she isn't the Grail Street club dancer Isea thinks she is.

“She... um, d-did your friend say anything about... about when she came here?”

“She said she had trouble getting to you, and that you were busy.”

“A-ah, yes, um, I was busy... w-with studying, with studying, late night studying,” Valia squeaks, awkwardly sitting herself down on the bed next to you.

“How dedicated, I'm sorry Elsie distracted you from your... studying,” you smile, wrapping an arm around Valia's shoulder, the mage giving a shy smile as she nestles in closer to your side.

Probably shouldn't just ask a librarian about scaled gods though.
More like look up old, fringe, occult, unpopular gods.
Also, couldn't what we saw the lizard do give a clue to the god's domain? Seemed very water/blood/life related, and of course being scaled and lizard-like.

“So what have they got you locked up here studying today?” you ask, as Valia shuffles into a comfortable position, which seems to involve squashing up as close as possible next to you.

“J-just a bit about the base theory behind mobile portal creation, it's a vital part of higher studies, so, so I don't think I can really convince the guild that... that I'm ready to continue, um, not until I learn how to do that,” she explains, her brow furrowing a little, you suppose she must be pretty concerned about that.

“You'll pick it up, I always found practical experience better than books anyway, a few more adventures and you'll be slinging those mobile portals around all over the place,” you grin, giving her a reassuring squeeze.

“T-thank you Jareth, I- It would be nice if I could, it might, well, it might convince mom... um... mother, that it's a good idea to keep, to keep adventuring.”

“I met your mother, and your butler, before running into Remus.”

“Oh dear, I hope Formes wasn't too rude to you, I- I'm afraid he's rather enamoured of mother, so he tends to react poorly to gentleman callers.”

“You noticed that, did you?”

“W-well yes, I think the only person who hasn't noticed is mo- mother, she, she gets rather wrapped up in her work.”

“So wait, your father knows?”

“I- I don't think he really cares, um, he's not... not around all that often,” Valia frowns.

Oh dear, you can feel the mood slipping, time to change the subject.

“Remus seems nice, anyway, a bit strange, but there's nothing wrong with that,” you smile, Valia giving you a small smile, that seemed to do the trick.

>>
>>42033841
“Ah, yes, Remus has always been very kind to me, um, he, he is a little odd though, I'll admit,” she giggles, one hand slipping over nervously to take yours, Valia blushing deeply as you lace your fingers with hers.

“He- he's a very talented mage too, um, he does... he does architectural work for the Builder's guild, as a contractor. Geomancy, magical construction, an-and work with artificial leylines, at least he does when they can force him to. I- I think if he had his way, he'd just play around with his own strange projects, but, well, he needs a lot of gold for those.”

“What sort of projects are those?”

“Um, well, let's see, one time he build a mobile house, it was, it as shaped like a beetle, I- I think it looked nice, but, well, no-one was really interested, so- so I think he still has it. Um, he build an underwater housing district, but- but, well, a kraken took it over a-and no-one's managed to drive it away yet. Um, I think he's working on a flying castle right now, but, well, it's very expensive, as I said.”

She wasn't kidding about him being talented, to pull off things like that, most structural geomancers settle for dull repetitive building work, little more than a glorified bricklayer.

“Um, Jareth, I- I don't want you to think badly of my parents, th-they are good people, they just... well, um, my mother gets far too serious about work, and- and sometimes she gets angry wh-when she thinks I'm making mistakes, an-and my father is, isn't around much, but... but they do both care about me, really, they aren't bad people.”

“Understood, I'm sure your mother will like me once she gets to know me,” you grin, leaning over to plant a kiss on Valia's forehead, turning her a deeper shade of red.

(cont)
>>
>>42033857
“W-well, um, I- I'm sure she'll come around you... to your presence, I'm sure she'll c-come around to your presence, um, yes,” Valia mumbles, looking away.

“No doubt. There was something I wanted to ask you though,” you smile.

“O-oh, yes, of course.”

“The scaled god, do you know much about him? If his cult is angry at me, I'd like to know more, you think it could be about stone-swimmer?”

Valia frowns, forehead furrowed as she sinks into thought.

“W-well, I know a little bit, while Stone-Swimmer was an angry, violent god, one who ruled through fear, natural disasters, violence, the Scaled God was... was more of a corrupting influence. Um, in the old Neburian pantheon the Stone-Swimmer represented death, while the Scaled God was life. H-his water palace was said to be quite a sight, um, before it was blown up of course. He had a whole priesthood of attendants, and a harem of the kingdom's most beautiful slavegirls to bear his blessed children, who were... well, half lizard.”

“Like the thing that attacked me.”

“W-well I suppose so, but, um, the Scaled God is dead, and... and I find it hard to believe that his children could still be breeding true after all these years. P-perhaps it's some sort of magic, mimicking the effect, b-but that's not to say such a cult couldn't exist.”

(cont)
>>
>>42033872
“So do you think they're angry with me about Stone-Swimmer?”

“Um, maybe, I don't know... I- I don't think anyone knows about Stone-Swimmer though, we didn't tell anyone. Let's see... um... the Scaled God's foremost worshippers were mostly wealthy and influential people, they shared in his decadence and were rewarded with gold and black pearls from his vaults. You should be careful, Jareth, this cult, it- it could have a lot of pull in the guilds if it's anything like his old cult.”

You nod, considering Valia's words. “Valia, could you find out more about the scaled god for me?”

“O-of course Jareth, I- I wouldn't want anything to happen to you, s-so, any way I can help,” she nods, her attempts at a serious frown coming across more as cute than anything else, like a scowling puppy.

“Thanks Valia, just keep things subtle, we don't want to tip the cult off that you're looking into them.”

“N-no problem Jareth, I pick up fifty books a week from the library, I'm sure I can slip in one or two about this without anyone noticing,” she beams.

Grinning, slip your hand from hers, reaching over to tip her chin back, leaning forward and pressing your lips to hers, Valia giving a surprised squeak as you enjoy the sensation of her soft lips.

Sitting back, you pick yourself up, Valia still frozen in place, flushing deeply.

“I'll see you soon Valia, you know where I'm staying if you want to tell me anything, right?”

(cont)
>>
>>42033892
“Y-yes, I- I know wh-where you're staying, I- I'll, I'll see you soon, Jareth,” Valia squeaks, hopping to her feet.

Just in time as it turns out, as the door swings open to reveal Valia's mother, whose angry expression quickly fades away as she realizes that you do not in fact have your hands all over her daughter.

“Jareth, I see you found your way to my daughter,” she frowns, cocking an eyebrow.

“Remus showed me the way,” you smile, giving a shrug.

“Of course he did... Well, come along now, I think that's a long enough break for Valia.”

“No problem, I was just leaving anyway,” you reply, nodding to Valia as you step out of the room.

“B-bye Jareth, I'll... I'll let you know if I find anything,” Valia calls, before the door swings shut.

“I suppose I owe you an apology, Jareth. It seems I became rather engrossed in my work. I had asked Formes to inform me when a half hour had passed, but it seems that he was distracted by other duties,” Lyria states, the two of you walking along the corridor side by side, the butler nowhere to be seen for the first time since you met Valia's mother.

“Not a problem, sounds like you're very busy,” you smile, Lyria giving a slight nod as she steps onto the stairs.

“So what is it that you do, Mrs Einrich? With Valia's portal magic and Remus' geomancy, I'm guessing you do something magical as well?” you ask, as you start down the stairs.

“I do artificier work with my guild, unfortunately these days it's more paperwork surrounding my field than actually working in it. Still, it is very rewarding to see all of my hard work improving the lives of the city's people.”

You nod, keeping to yourself the fact that most of those inventions do not make it to more than half of the city.

“So when you get to do actual artificier work yourself, what sort of things do you work on?”

“I'm afraid I couldn't reveal any of my latest inventions, the guild would be very upset if information got out about our projects before they were released to the public. In the past I've worked on cooled storage chests, wall-climbing harnesses for those working in construction and rescue, and multipurpose shapeshifting tools,” Lyria explains, counting off her inventions, continuing on to about a dozen more, a few of which you've heard of, and plenty more of which you haven't. Either way, it's obvious that she's very good at what she does, you suppose there must be a lot of pressure on Valia surrounded by the likes of her and Remus.

“Impressive, sounds like your family has quite the array of talents,” you smile.

“We do try, I'm sure that Valia will come into her own soon enough with some more encouragement.”

“I've been very impressed with her so far, she's been a great help to the party,” you nod, noting the slight sour look that has come over Lyria at your change in topics.

“It is hardly the most respectable, or safe, profession, but Valia was unusually insistent about it. I suppose she's just going through a phase of some sort.”

(cont)
>>
>>42035587
“You don't need to worry about her staying safe, I'm doing everything I can to see to that. Besides, I'd say that it's doing her a lot of good, practical experience has its uses as well as books,” you reply, as you turn down the next flight of stairs.

“Perhaps, I can't say I'm comfortable with it though, despite her age, she's still such a child at times, dealing with monsters is best left to those of a more violent and brutish disposition. No insult intended, of course.”

“None taken, though I prefer to think of myself as rugged and roguish, personally.”

“I'm sure, I would prefer that Valia not become violent, brutish, rugged, or roguish however. She's an intelligent, well-mannered and attractive girl, there are many more options available to her,” Lyria sighs.

“She's something alright. She's taken after her mother, I'd wager, intelligent, well-mannered and attractive,” you smile.

“Very kind of you to say, Jareth, though flattering me won't do anything to help your relationship with my daughter, if that is your intention,” Lyria replies with a slight nod, as you reach the base of the stairs, her expression impassive.

(cont)
>>
>>42035607
“No need to worry, if I want to flatter Valia I'll do it to her face, that one was just for you,” you grin, glancing over at her, Lyria meeting your gaze for a split second before her eyes fix back on the path ahead as the two of you step out onto hallway.

“As long as you keep your flattery of my daughter respectable, that's fine, she is engaged after all, and her and Talis are very much in love,” Lyria shakes her head. It makes you wonder how well she knows her daughter these days, because that certainly isn't the impression you got of the engagement from the way Valia tells it.

“Well I wouldn't want to get in the way of love. That is assuming this isn't just a plot to get more flattery sent your way,” you smirk, the two of you reaching the front door.

“Yes, well, it is nice to be told that one is still attractive once in a while, no matter how hollow such praise may be in truth,” Lyria sighs, opening up the front door.

on HER shoulder*

>>42036309
Warlord knows we can't resist low hanging fruit. If he wanted to he could make us kill ourselves in no time at all.
>>
You rest your hand on Lyria's as she goes to open the door, shaking your head.

“I can assure you, Ms Einrich, I don't give hollow praise,” you smile, letting the door swing shut once more, Lyria looking from her hand to you, her eyebrows raised sharply.

“A woman like you shouldn't devote her entire life to work, there's so much more to it than that,” you continue, taking a step forward, letting your hand rest against her hip.

“Jareth this is not at all acceptable,” Lyria snaps, slapping your hand away from her hip and backing away up the corridor.

“I appreciate the compliment, and I am flattered that a young man such as yourself would take an interest in me. However I do not appreciate such impropriety, perhaps before you set foot in this house again you should consider better ways to comport yourself, now kindly show yourself out,” she commands, one finger jabbing in the direction of the door.

You wince inwardly, that could have gone better, you suppose Lyria does not share Valia's pent up sexual frustration, or at least she is better at suppressing it.

“I apologise, Ms Einrich, I let my feelings get the better of me,” you reply, giving a nod, turning to open the door.

“Yes, well, I don't think it would be at all proper to continue this line of discussion right now. good day, Jareth,” she frowns, as you step outside, the door swinging shut behind you.

You run a hand through your hair. Well, that may have been a mistake, but not one you can't recover from. She didn't call the guards on you or tell you that you could never return, so there's still hope... you hope.

>>42036385
Sighing, you turn from the door, heading off down the street. Time to go see Rihara, a woman whom you don't think even knows the meaning of the word impropriety.

It's a long walk back to the inn, and the familiar sights and smells of cheap meat, stale beer and ganger body odor that lingers in the bar. Gurby gives you a curt nod as you enter, then returns to his discussion with a pair of tattooed trollkin. Returning the nod you head up the stairs, opening the door to your room, finding your sister sat cross-legged on the floor, meditating, looks like she's pretty deep into it after all the mana she burned through, she hasn't even noticed you.

>Snap her out of it, she'll want to know you're fine
>Go get something to eat, wait for her to finish

Hey guys, I've been following from my phone all day, apparently someone got my campus's 3g net banned somehow, and on that note, you're all gibbering retards who should kill themselves for taking such a blatant trap option.

You're the one who is denying the inner RP of Jareth, you're not thinking "what would Jareth do?". Sure Jareth is gonna get shot down here and there, but once in a while he'll get that winning hand. While you, you'll just sit there vicariously masturbating over Jareth who has some balls to take action.
>>
>>42036477
Yeah but not any further than the state of discourse on 4chan merits, you always call people something a little worse than they actually deserve
>>
>>42036520
Jareth is also highly intelligent, he knows if he fucks up too hard here he loses any shot at either woman and either loses a party member or fucks up Valia's life when she runs away to be an adventurer.

Large risk for a fuck all reward.
>>
>>42036520
Yeah, except even if he successfully manages to bone the lady he's got a good chance of actively harming his odds of eventually fucking valia. She seems like she'd be cool with the banging lots of people but fucking her mom is a bit too far.

If Warlord doesn't want people voting for smut, he shouldn't have made a smut quest.
>>
>>42036416
>Go get something to eat, wait for her to finish
>>
>>42036694
This is a smut quest, but that doesn't mean there is literally nothing else in it.
>>
>>42036557
He'd also want to ensure the lady feels appriciated.
Contact with her hip was pushing too far though, holding her hand would've likely turned out better, the contact there more of a sincere conection than the hips sensual one.
>>
>>42036694
just cause its smut doesn't make it a good idea. You can go off and try and seduce a murder-lesbo if the votes are high enough. Doesn't mean we should.
>>
>>42036694
It's a smut quest that requires using your brain. Something you are obviously unable to do.

>>42036713
Jareth does not do subtle.
>>

i think the problem is we tried to go to far to fast, we should have been patient, if we learn from this there may still be a chanse for future milf action

>>42036694
Voting for smut and voting to coerupt people as muh as possible and be as degenerate as possible is not the same. It has been stated that Elshhu doesn't want everyone to be corrupted into bisexual hedonistic incestual orgy participant nymphos.
Why can't you respect that some people aren't filthy perverts?
>>42036520
You're the one who ignores Jareth's character in favor of, and I quote anon, "I want the milf"
Jareth is not a collectivist who wants to fuck everyone he sees, and Valia is already plenty attractive.
Jareth is also not known to ruin marriages and tempt wives into adultery.
He is also quite intelligent and capable of acting tactful, especially when he acknowledges the circumstances.
Hell, right in the fucking update he said he fucked up, which means he acted unusually as otherwise he would've just said it didn't work.
>>
>>42036732
Jareth is completely capable of being subtle if people voted for anything except the obvious dumb choice
>>
>>42036754
Obviously not considering what he did.

>>42036783
see above
>>
>>42036783
Honestly part of it is framing, if warlord had split puah our luck into two options, subtly push our luck and proposition her then and there, I'm sure subtly push our luck would've won.
>>
>>42036746
>i think the problem is we tried to go to far to fast, we should have been patient
Wow, really? No shit? You're saying inappropriately touching, flirting, and propositioning to commit adultery with a married woman less than 3 hours of meeting her is not a good idea?
If only someone would've said so...
>if we learn from this there may still be a chanse for future milf action
Or if such a clairvoyant people appeared who could tell us that retarded options are retarded, maybe we could listen to them...
>>
>>42036814
Are you the idiot who thought 'push our luck' meant 'you know, those were serious compliments, okay bye' ? That shit would've been just voting to support >>42035671
>>42035752 >>42035760 because that's as muh as it's worth, an off-hand comment. You must literally have autism, especially since there have been bigger write-in addiions in the past.
Or is it because Lordy didn't explicitly include "Write-in" as an option? Don't tell me you're so stupid that you need to be told you can be creative and can clarify what you want.
>>
>>42036841
We've been spoiled interactions with the lumpenproletariat, where we totally CAN get away with propositioning people we've known for all of 3 hours
>>
>>42036987
So, what you're saying is, anon is stupid?
>>
>>42036970
Do you realize how upset you're getting over literally nothing? Jareth shrugged, said "woops", and went on with his life. It is not game ogre.
>>
>>42036970
Actually I missed the vote, but sorry if "which options get presented changes how people vote" is so controversial to you
>>
Why are people losing their shit? This isn't a big deal, go get some fresh panties, have a lil' snack, count to ten and cool it the fuck down.
>>
>>42037043
No, but there is no denying we made ourselves less popular in that household.

Especially now that she knows what kind of person her daughter hangs out with. Hell, imagine if she tells Valia what we were doing.

I'm not really upset since it could have gone far worse and the potential for upside WAS there, so I understand people voting for it, even though I did not.
>>
>>42036987
Most of those people were
A. Not married
B. Ambivalent at worst to us
C. Had nothing to lose fucking us
D. Had no one else in their lives dealing with us.
>>
>>42037066
Because valia is half the thread's waifu and we can't have anything setting back our chances to marry and impregnate her>>42037050
>>
>>42037043
You can trivialize it, but it's a good indicator of the players' mental faculties.
I wouldn't be upset even if Valia left the party as a result, I only care about the vote itself.
I also hope you realize that the only reason we weren't banned from the house is because Warlord is so soft when it comes to punishment, which is good for me as I actually care about the quest and don't just vote for the hell of it on the spur of the moment, but it's still what it is.
>>42037066
See above.
>>42037050
It's not controversial, just sad to know that people are so stupid as to make such mistakes en masse.
>>
>>42037121
Look I'm not saying I thought it was a good idea, or that anons SHOILD have thought it was a good idea, just explaining why they DID think so.
And also I got to use the word lumpenproletariat so that's a plus
>>
>>42037157
I repeat, this isn't a big deal. Characters come and go, stop losing your mind over the meagre threat of "losing" one of them, holy shit man, get your shit together. Story progression is more than calculated risks all the time, failures and successes on spur of the moment are a lot more interesting.
>>
>>42037265
Yeah, I remember when we last tried a "spur of the moment" route in OWQ
>>
Leaving Rihara to her meditation, you head back downstairs, flagging down Gurby's bar staff to order some sort of spicy meat dish which seems to have been added to the menu, and a second one for your sister.

Leaning against the bar, you look around, it's the same assortment of friendly faces as ever, though sadly with no sign of your two ganger friends, you suppose they must be out breaking legs somewhere. You spot that orc woman Gurby was speaking with before sat in the corner, a jeweller's monocle in her eye, squinting at some sort of clear gemstone. The fact that the gangers and thugs are doing their very best to not notice the very expensive rock in the woman's hand tells you a lot. Still, right now you have other concerns, and you thank the waddling cook as she dumps too plates of the dish on the bar in front of you, grunting something about bringing down the plates when you're done.

Climbing the stairs once more, you elbow open the door, your sister still where you left her. Shutting the door behind you with your foot, you set her plate to one side, sitting down on the end of the bed to enjoy your meal. It's surprisingly good, that new cook Gurby got may not be easy on the eyes, but she cooks far better than this place deserves.

Just as you're finishing, you see Rihara shift, her back to you as she stretches out her arms, hopping to her feet.

“Morning,” you call, setting your plate aside, Rihara spinning round to face you.

“Jareth? Oh gods, you dick, I was so worried,” she grins, tackling you to the bed with a furious hug.

“Oh, oh shit, sorry, I didn't mean to... make your non-existent injuries any worse,” Rihara frowns, her hands prodding at you as she tries to track down your mortal wounds.

“What gives, Jareth? That Elsie girl said you were half-dead, was she just screwing with me?”

“I wasn't good last night, but I had a chance to patch myself up with some mana, still feel kinda rough, and I burned though most of my supplies,” you smile, as Rihara once again wraps you up in a tight hug.

“Well fuck. I'm glad you're better, but seriously, don't scare me like that. I don't need you dropping dead just after we finally met up again,” she sighs, while you lie there, enjoying the feeling of her athletic body pressed up against yours.

“I'm pretty hard to kill, don't you worry,” you grin, sliding your arms around Rihara's back, the two of you lying there for some time before your sister finally releases you from her deathgrip, clambering up to kneel on the bed beside you.

“Not invincible though, where the hell'd you find a guy who could rough you up like that anyway?”

“He was less of a guy, more of a giant magical lizard man, sounds like I upset their cult somehow, though I honestly have no idea how,” you shrug, putting your hands behind your head as you lie back on the bed.

“I bet it was your dick.”

“My dick?”

“Yeah, your dick did something, or someone, that they didn't want you to.”

“You know, you are probably right,” you smile.

“That dick'll get you in trouble, my foolish little brother,” Rihara frowns, flopping back onto the bed next to you, kicking her legs out and stretching with a groan.

(cont)
>>
>>42037319
“If only there was someone I could rely on to help me get my mana fix and keep my dick under control, someone who I knew well and loved dearly, perhaps I wouldn't be running around accidentally fucking my way onto cult hit lists, but where would I find such a person,” you sigh.

“Look Jareth, I know you are smoking hot, because you look a lot like me, and I am smoking hot...”

“Very true.”

“...and I will be the first to admit that I would be considered by much of polite society to be a sexual deviant, much as you would...”

“Also very true.”

“...but even I have things I'm not sure about, like, for example, fucking my twin brother, you know, that's a thing a lot of people would probably not be sure about.”

“Most people would be very sure about it one way or another, I think,” you grin.

“I wish there was some way I could help you get your mana back, might make you run off and get yourself into trouble less often, but that doesn't mean I'm comfortable with playing hide the incestuous sausage with you, you know,” Rihara shrugs.

Depends on who has power in the district you're in. The most common response would be disapproval, but no actual legal view on it. Some guilds and power groups however do actually have rules governing morality rather than just rules governing business, theft and violence, and in those areas it might be a good idea to keep any incestuous activities on the down low.

I'm going to ignore that thought

“I understand... for now, but it would be slander to my goddess to suggest that that's the only way I can get mana back,” you shrug.

“Oh? Enlighten me,” Rihara smirks, rolling onto her side.

“All that's required is passion, lust, and emotion. sex is the obvious one, but really any sort of connection will do,” you shrug.

“Don't think I'm going to be lusting after you, but fine, what do you suggest, you weirdo?”

“Nothing we haven't done before. Remember when we practiced kissing?” you grin, glancing over at your sister, who flushes slightly.

“Yeah, when we were kids, that's a little different,” Rihara sighs.

“Don't make it sound so innocent, remember how much trouble we got in for it?”

“Urgh, yeah,” Rihara winces, the memories of your brutal training regime bubbling up to the surface as the two of you share a quiet moment.

“Brothers and sisters don't kiss that way, Rihara, Jareth, I don't know where you picked up this kind of behaviour from, but it stops now,” you state, your voice mimicking the harsh tone you remember all too well.

“Well how else was I supposed to find out about it, all the other initiates were either asexual or creepy. There was nothing sexual about it,” Rihara pouts.

“Then if there's nothing sexual about it, why don't we try it again, then when it doesn't work, we'll know I'm going to have to seek out my mana elsewhere,” you grin.

Rihara rolls back onto her back, staring at the ceiling as her face goes through a range of exaggerated emotions.

“Fine, we'll give it a try, if only to get you off my back about this,” she sighs, sitting up and climbing up onto her knees.

Smirking, you sit up in turn, climbing to your knees and facing her.

(cont)
>>
>>42038033
“This is even the same positions we were in before, this is getting all weird and nostalgic now,” Rihara chuckles, an undertone of embarrassment in her voice.

“Don't you worry, my technique has improved since the old days,” you reply, reaching forward and letting your fingers slide through Rihara's hair, gently holding the back of her neck as you lean in, your sister giving a gulp as she mirrors your movement, her eyes closing.

Your lips meet hers, pressing together soft at first, then firmer, her breath tickling your cheek as she exhales through her nostrils. Caressing her hair, you let your lips part slightly, Rihara following your lead, her breath quickening as you let your tongue slide along her teeth. Her lips part further, and you feel the warmth of her mouth, her breath, the tension of her tongue against yours, its movements strangely shy and awkward compared to your sister's usual bravado. Your tongues start to move together, stroking, tickling, exploring, Rihara's saliva and yours mixing as the kiss grows hungrier. Rihara's arms slide under yours, wrapping around your back, her fingertips pressing against your skin.

A slight moan escapes her throat, the sensation of it reverberating through your entwined tongues. Fighting back a smile, you let your tongue and hers draw apart, pulling back from the kiss, a single strand of saliva connecting your lips as you part.

“So do you want the good news or the bad news?”

“Wh-what?” Rihara mumbles, still looking a little dazed.

“Good news is I just got mana back,” you grin.

“...the bad news is, you're as big a weirdo as I am.”

Good question, which I can't answer, because Jareth isn't sure.

>Do you think a slightly less pushing it move of holding her hand would've gone over far better?
At that stage, no, neither would have gone over great.

>Where are the ganger qtpah2ts?
Out doing gang enforcer things, like putting people through windows, and beating down rival gangers.

>Have the Necrotwins also practiced kissing before, or was Onii-Chan Jareth the closest?
Jareth doesn't know, but it seems unlikely from what he's seen of them so far.
