The last empires of Man have crumbled to dust, and barbarism has descended upon the darkened universe...But one woman shines as a beacon of triumph - Cassiopeia, Queen of the Cosmos!
Having bested the crime-lord Longorus, Cassiopeia returns to Arabesh with her prize, the Princess of Arabesh, for whose safe return her father would pay a fortune! Cassiopeia's fabled luck fell against her, however, for she found herself betrayed by the princess's betrothed!
MEANWHILE, BENEATH THE PALACE OF ARABESH
"Confess! Confess your treason and we will give you a speedy demise!"Again and again the lash falls upon Cassiopeia's form, and as she laboriously grinds her teeth to keep suppressed a scream of pain, the torturatrix cries "Such obduracy! Do you think we enjoy this?"
"Perhaps more crude means are required to win your acquiescence," the woman laughs, and Cassiopeia hears the crackle of an electrostaff behind her, but as she braces herself, a shadow falls upon her and the torturatrix gasps, "Lord Ardenzo!"
"Ah, Cassiopeia, I trust you are enjoying the king's hospitality? I want to thank you again for delivering the princess to us. And this remarkable burner, as well! To think such a weapon might have survived after all these years!"Ardenzo grins at the rage flickering in Cassiopeia's eyes. "You will be tried for treason, for attempting to defile the princess," he grins, taunting her further. "You will find Arabeshi justice severe, but fair." At this, she sees a flicker of mirth cross his face, and he crosses out of her vision before leaning in, close enough to whisper in her ear...
"...and once I dispose of the princess, I will be the most powerful man on Arabesh, thanks to this burner you have delivered to me!"
"Cassiopeia, you are charged with attempting to engage in the defilement of the Grand Princess Ailin of Arabesh," calls a wizened black-robed man from a balustrade high above. "Your guilt will be found soon enough! Let the trial begin!"

"Aaah! Treacherous tart! I will school you in the proper way to treat your betters! I will have you flayed in the public square! I will-"
"You will cease your repining if you wish to draw breath anew," Cassiopeia grins, as the princess clutches her waist.
"Hold!"Without warning, the doors crash open and a pair of guards rush in, holding their electrostaves high, and for a moment Cassiopeia feels the hot rush of battle surge in her chest, but their words stun her!"Lord Ardenzo! You are under arrest!""What?"
"We know everything, Ardenzo.""Father!"
"His mother has already confessed her role. I suspected that Ardenzo meant to have you harmed, and now I see that I was right!"To this he turns and locks his steely gaze against Cassiopeia's own!"I owe you more than I had vowed, Cassiopeia, for not only have you returned my child unto me, but you have saved my house itself!""She was magnificent!" gushes the princess."Yes, no doubt she was," he says, casting a glance at his daughter. "Guards! Take Lord Ardenzo away, that he may try to win his innocence!"Suddenly, Cassiopeia feels the burner pulled from her grip!
"No! You will not put me in the arena!" shouts Ardenzo as he stumbles backward, waving the burner frantically!
"Leave Cassiopeia be!" Minae cries as she swings the heavy goblet against the back of his skull!"Aaah!"
"Take him away!" orders the princess's father as he gestures angrily at the unconscious Ardenzo!
"And as for you..." he says, turning and fixing his eyes upon Cassiopeia once more..."What can I possibly do to repay you for what you have done for me?"Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, please! To roll, put dice+1d12 in the Options field!

"Cassiopeia, Queen of the Cosmos..."
"Please step forward."
"For your bravery and indomitable will, the people of Arabesh thank you."
"We have towed your spaceship here from the furthest reaches of the polar lands, and restored its transcreen, for this has lain in our treasure-vault for a hundred centuries, and was once used in a craft like yours!"
"Here is the treasure you are owed," says a guard as he unlatches a stout chest and sends a pile of ancient golden coins spilling to the carpet! "Behold, the ancient trove-hoard of Arabesh!"
"I extend my deepest gratitude to you, Cassiopeia, for you have done much for me and my kind! Please, join us in feast, as we celebrate this gratifying resolution!"
"Oh, Cassiopeia!" cries the princess as she throws herself into Cassiopeia's arms...
"...you were wonderful!"
"Your highness!" shouts a guard as he rushes into the cathedral, "your wife has escaped!"
"We will deal with her later," he proclaims, as he lays a hand upon Cassiopeia's shoulder. "For now, it is time to celebrate!"
"Are you here? I brought your payment...""I'm right here.""Are you sure you can do this? She is fierce, and cunning! She slays without pause, and dares all with every gambit!""I am not afraid of her."
"She has a spaceship!""That is no concern.""But how will you find her?"
"I know exactly where she will be."
Holy manatees, that was a pretty tense episode! Shooting that raunchy scene was hard because I had no idea what I was doing! I must have taken five hundred shots that I threw away before I finally got something that I liked! Hope it wasn't too over the top - this episode should probably have a sticker on it.
>>42061718I was impressed by how well you improvised all this intrigue together.
>>42061636Is this supposed to be some kind of big reveal? I don't recognize this person.
>>42061780It's Evil Cassiopeia, duh.
Easter eggs for this episode... Cassiopeia's ride is sporting a new transcreen, in a color that might be familiar to Legonauts.Ardenzo is the CMF Swashbuckler minifig. I thought he did a great job playing a melodramatic villain, although when his character was first introduced I had him pegged as a good guy!
It took me a while to put together the cathedral-thingie, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. The big trans-neon orange pieces were a gift from SantaPunichu (thanks Santa!). I think they really made the set as far as "cheesy sci-fi victory medal scenes" go. I had to tear apart the castle to make it, but it was already partially dismantled at that point.
>>42061738Thanks anon! I was really surprised with how neatly everything seemed to wrap itself up. I guess I forgot to deal with Barand, but he probably got a pardon or something.>>42061780I've posted her on /toy/ a few times, but this is the first time she's appeared in this game. That's about it for now, but I'll be back sooner or later! Until then, if you missed a game, most episodes are archived along with all the pictures on suptg:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=lego%20questThe official Lego Quest wiki has all sorts of pages about characters and things in the game:http://legoquest.wikia.com/wiki/Lego_Quest_WikiAnd if you follow me on Twitter you'll get a tweet whenever a new episode starts:@EndmanOfFuturonHope everybody had fun! >>42062058Thanks for running once again Mr. LQ
>>42062058>I was really surprised with how neatly everything seemed to wrap itself upYou think it might be because of the hormones that generate from making and witnessing a lewd scene stimulating the brainwaves?
>>42062058you should continue crime time next!
>>42061636Whew, I thought we were going to end up dueling SX3 to the death! That would be some game.
