Last Time, on Feral Necromancer Quest: You left on a final approach to the temple of Pern the Sun God, deep into the desert. While you encountered some resistance along the way, you did get there with no losses and managed to gain access to the temple proper without much difficulty. The building looked simple enough from the outside, but within you found wonderful art, ancient tomes, and, most importantly for your goals, an altar to the Sun God. You knew that to work with the energies of it cursing you, you would have to perform a blood sacrifice on the altar, and you even found a dwarf that would serve the purpose. Not willing to commit to this course of action without further exploring the realm of this god of light, just before performing the sacrifice you decided to visit the realm of the god astrally, without angering Pern directly, at least not for now. You found yourself in a labyrinth, mirrored and protected. This is where Feral Necromancer Quest XXIII concluded.

The Cast

Vlad Tepish: You, a necromancer, who after being exiled from his tribe, found a ruin belonging to a dead elven necromancer. Armed with ancient knowledge and magic you are on a quest for immortality (among other things)

Bathory: Your lover. Trying to bring her back to life was what lead to your exile in the first place. The process of preserving her spirit was, unbeknownst to you, excruciating, and she hated you for a long time. You have given her an immortal alchemical body. You have repaired your relationship with her, and you love each other dearly

Lathrien: Your erstwhile hostage, now a friend and an apprentice, Lathrien is an elf and becoming quite a capable Necromancer and Shaman

Melandie: Elven huntress and berserker. She joined up with your party on her own volition. She has had serious issues with rage management, and her runeblade seems to be affecting her mind. She has been focused and calm for the last few weeks, though you are uncertain of how long she can manage the facade

You are in a strange labyrinth, clearly ethereal, somewhat transparent. You see yourself mirrored, whichever way you look, and you are alone and unarmed. The light here is bright, but it does not press on your eyes as the light in the desert did. It is warm, comfortable and welcoming here.

Pissing off can be done at any time we want. But this is an enemy of the god of necromancy, so he might actually help us if we prove ourself to be different enough from that asshole.

anon he straight up said that we should have searched for loot before going to look for a kill when he made looking for a kill as the only answer since desecrating would have made us dragging all these carts and supplies moot.
Also he presented options that we would have never done by looking for an INNOCENT bystander.
>>
>>42092584
Railroad is such a strong word. I prefer 'forgot to mention all the options.'

You do not appear to be in any imminent danger. You have met a few gods before now, and if they had anything in common was that they were all assholes, posturing and arrogant at best, and downright evil at worst. The god of necromancy has been your worst enemy, curiously enough. Pern is known to be his enemy in turn. While you do not entertain the childish notion that an enemy of your enemy is your friend, at the least they are someone worth talking to.

You proceed down the tunnels, first walking, then, as you realize that there is no physical fatigue in this realm, sprinting down the halls.

For a long time there is no change. Just the mirrors, you and the sense of a great presence of light. Nothing that you wouldn't expect in the realm of a god, really. But, as you keep running, eventually the labyrinthine structure turns more and more mundane.

The ethereal false-mirrors turn to normal mirrors, then walls of yellow sandstone, and soon you are in a hallway that would not be out of place in the material world. You still feel no fatigue as you follow along, but that is the only proof that you are still not in the world of the living.

After some time, likely an hour or so, you reach the end of the tunnels. They exit into what seems to be a well-kept and extravagant garden- flowers, shrubbery and lawns rolling for as far as the eye can see, trees and water features arranged with the eye of an artist.

As you look above, the Sun is larger and brighter than ever it is in the material world, and directly above you.

+1
>>
>>42092843
No need to go for lesser forms of anything. The approach might change, but the goal so far remains the same.

The garden seems to stretch on forever, and it seems to be wholly abandoned. No people, no animals, not even any insects anywhere. It would be impossible for such a place to exist on the material plane, but that is hardly surprising.

You walk slowly along a path through it, and though your quest rests on the edge of a knife here and now, you cannot help but feel relaxed. Serenity of this place is absolutely infectious.

You reach out with your magical senses, trying to sense the presence of the spirits of this place. Immediately you notice a massive presence, and it is very hard to notice the relatively tiny voices of the trees, the water and the earth.

It does not take you long to realize that, in a way, all the spirits are the same one. Or, rather, that all of the spirits of the garden are separate entities created from the overwhelming spiritual presence emanating from the Sun.

You try communicating magically with the great spirit, but your voice sounds tiny, silent, impossible to notice in the maelstrom of spiritual energy you are in right now.

To be honest my main issue against going for this kind of immortality is that we probably have to start eating living sentient creatures to maintain it. And that kinda goes against the whole trying not to be a dick-ass necromancer thing we have going on.

Gods speak to mortals all the time. Or, at least they seem to speak to you whenever it is convenient to them. They have avatars for this kind of a thing.

You look around for some sort of a humanoid creature for a while. At a guess you think you're looking for someone dressed in white. You walk through the forest for a while. This is becoming silly. A god surely knows you are in its realm. If it is not coming out to meet you, it is by choice, not coincidence.

'Pern, god of Sun, I am Vlad Tepish. I would speak to you!'

A minute passes. You are just about to shout out again.

You see light reflected among the trees. There is no shadow in this garden, not anywhere, but as you look towards a patch of birch trees, you see a figure.

At first it appears to be clothed in pure sunlight. You cannot discern its features, and barely its form. As you keep observing, however, you realize that the figure is clothed in armor of metal, polished to a mirror-shine. In the direct sunlight of the garden it seems to radiate light.

It approaches you, and draws a sword. The sword is just as reflective, but in the heart of the surface, you notice a tinge of scarlet.

'Necromancer. I should kill you where you stand for desecrating my realm by your presence.'

>This again. If Pern's going to be like this let him. Leave.
>You knew he was the god most opposed to Necromancy. You knew you would have to convince him to talk to you. So talk.
>Stay cautious, but polite. You do not yet know what you will do to Pern, but it will pay to get some answers.
>You've learned all you needed about him. Try to leave the astral realm immediately.

Whether you were truthful about not seeking power here, or you just know how unlikely you are to leave here alive if you revealed your true intentions, you have had just about enough of this guy.

At least this god seems to be fairly straightforward. Sure, straightforward in a 'smite you for who you are' kind of way, but you can appreciate the integrity. Or you could, if its boneheadedness wasn't causing you so much annoyance.

'Very well. Perhaps you should know that most of the followers of the god of undeath are dead. Guess you can take it easy for a while.'
'I had sensed him weakening. I will strike soon.'
'Is me killing them not worth anything?'
'It is. It creates a great advantage for me. But I will not deal with filth like you.'

Gods. Go figure.

You do not take the long way through the astral tunnels and the garden. You know it was merely the construct of a powerful spirit. Or a god. The more you learn of the divine, the clearer it seems that the distinction between god and spirit is largely in scale, rather than nature.

You find yourself in the meditative position, on the floor in the temple of Pern, in the middle of the desert. Your allies are nearby, and so is your prisoner. You open your eyes.

'So, Vlad Tepish? Did it work?' Lathrien says.
'Not so much.'
'What happened?'

And poll's closed with Lathrien Vampire winning by a very narrow margin. I feel like it's more or less legit, as if we add up Lathrien Vamp and Tepish Vamp voters, it is clear that the majority wants SOMEONE to turn here. Writing now, you can stop voting.
>>

This is where the quest falls apart.

exaggeration, of course, but any options other than "wait til later" is going to result in someone being pissed at routelocking. I have no faith in any outcome, nor any option of immortality. Never will we all be satisfied.

When you have to deal with the other half of the player base bitching at you things get very toxic.

If people get upset enough they will try to vote explicitly to cause the MC harm or death.

Welcome to the internet, right?
>>
'Very well, if you believe you can handle it, it is your choice.'
'Thank you, Vlad Tepish.'
'Something still has to die here, but I do not think it will be our dwarven friend. Let us hunt some orc.'

You leave for the time being and after finding a small group of orcs have a very brief and one-sided encounter with them. You return later the same day, as the sun sets.

'Lathrien, this will probably be painful, in more than one way. Kneel next to the altar. We will get started now.'

Roll 3d20 1- your necromancy 2- your shamanism 3- Lathrien's necromancy. No DC, no critfail. Good success might provide further options.

Your Necromancy: 32 (yeap, the mechanics overhaul is coming soon for a good reason.) Your Shamanism 28, Lathrien's Necromancy Nat 20!

Overall absolute success. Lathrien will have a very significant power-boost indeed.

Lathrien kneels at the altar. You drag the tied and struggling orc, and lay him on the slab.

'Start channeling your energy now. Do not stop until the ritual is done.'

You enter a meditative trance, but stay aware of your surroundings. Lathrien is releasing significant power. You thought you would have to aid him, split your attention between altering the curse and also channeling extra energy into the elf, but it seems he will do well enough by himself.

You make a connection with the orc and start draining his life. Blood must flow for the ritual to succeed, but there is no reason not to use the extra energy. You then order the orcish Blackguard to cut the orc's wrists. This has to be slow and secure if you want it to work.

As soon as the first drops of orcish blood hit the altar, you feel the gaze and wrath of Pern turn to Lathrien. You are almost knocked off-guard by the intensity and the suddenness of the assault of spiritual energy, but you manage to contain it just in time.

The orc is still alive. The true curse has not yet come. This is where your training as a Shaman comes in handy. You know that gods are, mechanically at least, powerful spirits. And so their power is spirit magic.

You are good at spirit magic

You bend the forces in this room for the first time, using only your training as a shaman, making it seem like the power is flowing naturally, but using it to boost your own supply of magical power

Then the orc dies and all hell breaks loose.

Light in this room turns from warm to blinding. You can see nothing but white from now on. Then it starts to burn and you know it is time. You pour your dark magic into the light, enhanced with the residual shadows left by Lathrien's efforts and the stolen spiritual power

-cont-
>>
>>42095123
The bright white turns to grey and from there on you can mold it. Strange shapes, forms of seals and sigils are formed from the shapeless darkness of the incredible discharge of necromantic energy unleashed in this temple.

The walls crack. Wind howls in rage. You feel freezing and hot all at once, and know that Lathrien is feeling this thousandfold. You have to finish this soon, lest he perish from shock alone.

With the exceptional rolls, you can pick TWO of these options.

>Focus much of your power towards reducing the intensity of the curse. Lathrien will be able to spend more time in sunlight, will need less blood to feed, and will not be harmed by divine spells any more than anyone else.
>Focus your shamanism alongside with necromancy, to give Lathrien the power to shapeshift into a flock of bats, a great wolf, and a few other thematically appropriate forms.
>Overcharge Lathrien with necromantic energy to immediately grant him increased necromancy
>Tap into the basics of your other schools- give him a paralyzing gaze, enchanting voice and some skill with basic illusion
>Make spreading the condition easier- anyone he feeds on will have a chance to turn
>Make spreading the condition harder- he will have to do a simple version of this ritual every time he wants to turn another

Regardless of the choices, Lathrien will gain:
>Improved Strenght, Stamina and Agility
>Blood dependency, linked to vampiric abilities and appearance
>Immortality, he will only be killable by exposure to direct sunlight, complete destruction of his heart by a wooden implement, or decapitation.
>Stealth 3
>Spreading vampirism. By draining a living creature and then feeding them his blood, he can turn another into a vampire.
>Other thematically appropriate bonuses and disadvantages

It is a fairly serious curse, and you do not want the elf suffer from it overmuch. You negate as much of it as you can. It will give him minutes in direct sunlight, instead of seconds, and he will not have to feed daily to maintain his life. You do not want him to spread the curse by accident either, so you make sure that turning others is more of a challenge.

And then you hide him from the sight of Pern, just for a moment, but the moment is long enough for the curse to be broken.

Lathrien is, to all appearances dead. Without taking a breath, without a heartbeat he sits up.

'Fuck, but that hurt,' Lathrien says. Is it you or does his voice sound just a little colder than it was before?
'Well, you did ask for it. How is it?'
'I... shit, man. I think I can feel the hunger already, but other than that, it's pretty neat. I feel like I could just run forever. Thinking is easier too.'

Strange. There should be no effect on the mind. Then again, this was hardly an exact science. Who knows what else is going on with him.

'Melandie?'
'She's outside. The magic got pretty fucking intense here.'

Lathrien stands up. He makes less noise moving now. The kid has changed.

Nat 20! You see everything forever.

You doubt you are in immediate danger from the god. It seems like they can only act in very specific conditions. You take your time to systematically go through the entirety of the temple.

The art is the most obvious thing of value, and you fill your carts with golden statues, ancient works of painting, preserved by magic or faith, even pieces of architecture easiest to chip off.

Then, of course, all of the books. Many of these are religious tomes, full of rituals to appease Pern and teachings on how to honour it in day to day life. While you have no plans to follow them, you do bring the books along. More knowledge is always of value.

Just when you are about to leave you notice something. A small disturbance in the spirit realm. You are drawn to a lemon-sized black stone. It is polished to a shine, but you'd dismissed it as worthless. On closer inspection you sense a spirit trapped within it.

Vampires consistently grow in power, with no apparent upward limit.

If you mean by Helsing, then yes, since that Alucard was actually Dracula.

Castlevania is a seperate setting, and Alucard is Dracula's half-human son, birthed by a woman named Lisa who was burned at the stake for being a "witch" (or some shit, been ages since I played those games, don't know about the Lords of Shadow canon, though.)

Big deal in that game. Though even in earlier installments of the series he was also known as Dracula's son, even if it was far more obscure and harder to figure that out.

FUCK!

Well, good news and bad news. We'll never be "Dracula". So that's shitty.

But if you faggots can manage to keep on track for long enough to get dragon immortality, we can be "Dracul", so our son can be called "Dracula".

Heh. Dragons.

You have to travel by night now, with Lathrien having developed quite the severe allergy to sunlight. You take the stone with you and talk to it now and again on the road. The first few times Mr. Cram does not remember talking to you, but as days go on, with regular conversation you learn a little more about him, and he seems to regain a little more of his mind on the road.

The road back through the desert is largely uneventful, only conversation in camp breaking up the monotony of the journey.

>Talk to Melandie and Lathrien in camp
>Fast forward to the edge of the desert

>>42096523
Well, technically Lathrien could turn you whenever now. But then Lathrien would be your sire and that'd just be weird. Also I'm not sure I want another entertaining and informed conversation like what this vote lead to today.
>>
>>42096574
Well, second child with Bathory could be a half-dragon if we go that way.

But if our first born (who Bathory is carrying right now, as it were) was a boy, and we made it to dragon immortality, he would then be eligible to be called "Dracula"
>>
>>42096597
I think it's actually a good thing, because as we advance our skills in magic we'll be able to make our own vampirism stronger than Latharien's if we choose to take that route.

Lathrien has certainly be quiet on the journey. For the first few days you simply assumed it was him getting used to his new form, but by the end of the week you start getting concerned. When you break camp on the seventh day you talk to him and Melandie.

'Well, how is this thing working out?' You say
'Hm, the sunlight thing is bothersome. I did not think it would be as much an issue, but I am not so sure anymore.' Lathrien says
'We will get to the forest and it will be much less of an issue. It's the travel that's making it a problem.' You say.
'It better be. If you stay this brooding then I'm going to have to be happy one in this relationship and I will murder someone if that happens,' Melandie says.
'That's not it. I'm just getting used to stuff.' Lathrien says
'What stuff?' Melandie says
'Well, I don't sleep for one. Daylight is just sitting in a tent, waiting. It's alright when you are awake, but when you sleep...' Lathrien says.
'Read a book. I'm sure it's the suckiest, but get used to it.' Melandie says.
'I am getting used to it. And it's not without it's good parts.'
'Damn right it does.' Melandie says and smirks.
'At least I cannot blush anymore.' Lathrien says.
'Interesting. So it has not harmed your... relationship?' you say.
'Hell, now we both have a dark secret driving us a little mad.' Melandie says. 'If anything we relate more.'
'Mad?' you say.
'I... I've sort of started seeing people as food. And I'm fucking starving now. If you weren't my friends, well, I'd probably go for it by now.'

>Shit. Get a move on. Gotta feed the kid and soon.
>Shit. Drain a little blood from you and/or Melandie, it won't last him long, but at least he won't be on the edge of madness.

cant we just alchemy up some super blood for him we did make a sweet leg a few weeks ago
>>
>>42097068
You didn't pack much alchemy supplies. You can try to use alchemised blood once you get back home.

'You might have spoken up sooner. I thought that this might happen. I believe both me and Melandie can spare a little blood for you.'
'No.. that's.. Could you? I mean hell, I think I need it.'
'Fucking hell, man, if you need it you'll have it. You'd do the same for both me and Vlad.'
'Er, okay, sure.'

You do not want to risk him bite you. You are quite certain that the feeding instinct might overtake him if you fed him directly. You make a small cut on your wrist, and Melandie's, binding it after filling a bowl.

Lathrien drinks the blood, exhales and starts licking the remnants on the bottom.

'Oh. Fuck me. God. Yes. I take it all back. This is awesome. If I can get more of...'

There is a silence for a minute.

'Shit, I could lose it so easily. Before I thought... what if I took just a little drop from Melandie, just playing while we... Shit, I could've killed her. Hell, I would have killed her.'
'Try to keep as full as you can be, so you don't lose control.'
'I'm thankful for what you've given and it was amazing, but... I am hungry again. It was not enough.'
'It is enough for now. We get back on the road as soon as the sun sets.'

Actually, Vlad Tepish was the inspiration behind the myth, called "Dracula" which means "the son of the dragon" because his father was known as "the dragon" or, "Dracul/Drakul/however the fuck you want to spell it today".

And I believe it was Vlad Tepish III, more specifically. Or I may be mixing things up.

Vlad was also popularly known as "the impaler" for his favorite pastime of shoving sharpened logs up people's anuses and letting them sink down as the spike impaled their entire bodies.

Fun times.
>>
'So, how do you feel about my other options, when compared to your state?'
'Well, the hunger surprised me. I think if I fed more regularly, it probably wouldn't be an issue. And I am stronger, faster, tougher, I am just better. And I will not die. What other options do you even have?'
'I could try to become a Lich. It's a terribly complex ritual, but ultimately it is about binding my mortality to some other item, while maintaining perfect control of my body through necromancy.'
'Sounds a nightmare to pull off. If you can do it though, I mean, if I get it right, you'd be the real deal immortal, right?'
'Pretty close. I think the constant focus necessary would also make me a hell of a wizard in time.'
'Vlad Tepish, you already are the most powerful wizard I'm aware of,'
'Not good enough. Not for what I want.'
'What other options then?'
'Well, I think I've figure out how to just move into another body.'
'Pretty dark, even for you, Vlad.'
'Yes, so I have been thinking about making one with alchemy.'
'That's something. Hell, you could make something insane with that. Would it have to be humanoid?'
'Hadn't thought of that. I guess not. It would not have to be just the one body either, I suppose.'
'Well, Vlad Tepish, that one's pretty obvious, I guess. Either you want it or you do not.'
'The others are.. stranger. I do not know much about some of the options open to me.'
'Well, there' always going to be more to learn if you keep learning, right?'
'I believe so.'
'So, you know, make a decision when you want to.'
'Do you regret it?'
Lathrien thinks for a minute.
'No. This body will last, and it will serve me well. My mind is still my own and I should have the best possible container for it. This is pretty fucking close.'

The rest of the journey goes on without much of an issue. You have to repeat the blood letting once more, but other than that you reach the edge of the desert by the end of the third week. Home is now nearby.

I see pretty clear, if hesitant Shamanism VII.

You have learned Astral Projection! You can have your spirit leave your body! You cannot interact with the physical world in any way, but you can move and explore the world at the rate of thought.

You have unlocked possession immortality option! You can posess any sapient creature and replace your mind with theirs.

You have unlocked alchemical construct immortality option- if you build an appropriate construct you can transfer your soul to it.

You have 1/4 hivemind immortality option.

As you reach human controlled lands you notice Lathrien leaving the caravan some nights and catching up with you later. He does not seem very guilty when he returns, so you doubt he's killed anybody. That is good enough for you, and now, with a regular supply of food, Lathrien has lost much of his moodiness.

You pass through the human territories without much of an interruption. A man in a white robe, does run up to you screaming curses and calling you a monster, but as you still travel by night, there is nobody around to hear him. As he does not dare attack you, you let him go.

It takes little more than a week to return to your home. Spring has begun in earnest by the time you arrive, and the village near your home is flourishing with activity.

I'd like us to go further with the alchemy now that we're in a bit of a calm period before we chose our immortality option(s).

Now that we have soul creation, we can make golems by filling our alchemical bodies with tailored souls (although I hope creating souls has a bit of wiggle room on the character of the created soul).

For one, I'd like us to make a simple alchemical body, and make the soul of it into an ideal librarian (I think the library still needs proper sorting, maybe some adding too), just to test how the soul creation works.

Construction 22! Village pop now at 55! Diplomacy 23!

You return to a healthy state of affairs. Children have born in the village, and there have been very few deaths, between your protection and the comfort of their homes. Your home has gained an extensive construction, the first two floors of the tower have been build, and appear sturdy and roomy. Finally, you see the humans of the village interacting freely. When you inquire further, you learn that some elves have moved here, whether it be to facilitate trade, or to be with their lovers.

Well, that could have gone worse. But you have little time for the small successes. You rush home, to meet Bathory. She has a visible belly now, and your reunion is one of tears of joy.

With that concludes the twenty fourth installment of Feral Necromancer quest.

You got shit done. You have gained 3 exp.

What you know for certain is that at the next level of Shamanism undead animals will cost 1/8th of their base cost, which means that you could have a ridiculously huge horde of animal undead. By that point a fucking mammoth zombie would probably set you back like 1.5 units, and you could have 8 zombie wolves for the cost of a basic humanoid undead.

As far as hints go, Shamanism 8 is probably the most destructive direct evocation you're likely to get in the first volume of the quest.

Dracolich sounds great. But no.

Rather have alchemical body and dragon shit.

I can imagine the surprise when we show people our underground dragon body storage room.

The whole muted emotions thing turns me off.

I don't want for everything Vlad does to not be as significant as it normally is.

Everything means less when you feel less, after all.
>>
>>42098436
leaning towards alchemical body, but then again im also interested in the classical skelly-lich.
>>
I really wanna see the Dragon Immortality option.... I bet it's fucking awesome
>>
I really don't want Vlad to be weaker than his useless piece of shit side-kick just because he didn't have enough balls to go for the awesome power. So, dragon it is.
>>
>>42098542
weren't you one of the niggas talking how shit dragon was before vampire lost?

Thanks for the info, I wanted to get a bit of an idea which way the wind is blowing.

I personally, would like to go with Alchemical, or some combination of alchemical with others.
>>
>>42098588
We can probably go Alchemical and dragon, especially if it's dragon shape. But noone else wants to see it apparently.
>>
>>42098588
Honestly the alchemical body is the "I'm too much of a pussy to take any downsides" immortality option.

Lichdom ain't much better. Since it has seemingly no mechanical effect. "Oh no, we don't -feel- as much" the effects of that are lessened by the very fact that he would feel less.
>>
Dragon does sound like a badass immortality option, especially if we can go dracolich or dragonmecha.
>>
>>42098619
I suspect that alchemy might be more popular that you think it would be (as >>42098627 says) its somewhat more forgiving than some of the others, I think, because of it being sort of changeable when we get it.
>>
>>42098699
I'm not big on dracolich, for IC reasons mostly
>>
get basketweaving to 10
Craft the basket of eternal life
?????
Volume 2 starts.
>>
>>42098712
Then go for straight dragon?

And if you'd like to state your actual reasons that'd be good for discussion.
>>
I suggested this >>42097814 a bit earlier.
Would anybody consider backing it as a option once we are settled back home?
>>
What if we become a hybrid dragon/human type thing?
>>
Another interesting option would be trying to mix illusion + necromancy and just be a immortal magic ghost.
>>
>>42098789
But why?

Full dragon+shapeshifting, anon!
>>
>>42098768
Vlad wouldn't want to have any sort of physical separation from Bathory who he dragged back from death to have back. So living dragon seems to be the best bet when we can wildshape between human and dragon forms.
>>
>>42098796
I personally oppose any option that doesn't allow for us to fuck and have more children with Bathory.

And taking over a body solely for that purpose is fucking weird. So no thanks.
>>
>>42098821
Would possessing a body and fucking your wife count as cuckoldry?
>>
>>42098821

Palpatine style clone body backups for sexy times might be an answer, but that's basically just alchemical body and possession.
>>
>>42098837
not if we purposely switch out the bodies genitals with our own.
>>
>>42098803
Ah. Didn't think of shapeshifting
>>
>>42098837
It counts as being fucking weird.

And genetically not our child.

So that's a thing.

>wanting to dirty Bathory with inferior genes to our own

You're the type to fuck elves in the desert with a mask on, aren't you?
>>
>>42098810
>>42098821
We made Barothy's alchemical body capable of reproduction, so couldn't we just as easily equip a hypothetical humanoid alchemical body with the necessary... equipment for reproduction.
>>
>>42098862
>but no superior dragon seed

Do you even eugenics, bro?
>>
>>42098862
That's fine, I'm just against lich at this point. I just wanna see the draong immortality option before we make an alchemical body
>>
Cool thing also would be just learning as much as magic we can and somehow become a magical demigod. That would require a shit ton of exp and DeadQM might just day that shit won't/can't fly like that.
>>
>>42098913
>A demigod (or demi-god) is a divine or supernatural being in classical mythology. The term has been used in various ways at different times and can refer to a figure who has attained divine status after death, a minor deity, or a mortal who is the offspring of a god and a human.

We are none of these, and hopefully never shall be.

Also, gods are just spirits in this settings AFAIK, so we could only be a "demigod" by becoming a spirit.

So fuck that.

"Gods" are also ALL ASSHOLES that we've met so far.
>>
Does anybody remember what constitutes "Alchemy Ingredients". I remember we got some from the dwarfs, and some more from the desert elves, but I wonder if we could source enough of them reliably for some of the more out there alchemical options.
