You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. You and your clan are still getting used to the claustrophobic confines of the Tsaibi Jungle when compared to the barren, arid landscape of the Great Wastes following your move south to better hunting grounds. The move has brought with it more food, more targets for your clan to raid, and far more resources to build with and create weapons from, but has also brought more dangers in the form of the shapeshifter packs, the reclusive elder serpent, and the countless stinging, venomous insects and toxic plants within its interior.

While biding your time to gather more information on the shapeshifters, you took a group of your warriors south-east to raid a nest of harpies, a new target that your warriors have not had a chance to do battle with yet. Launching a night raid, you managed to catch the nest unaware, and seized numerous slaves with only minimal casualties and a few injuries.

Plunder is lacking, the harpies seem to have little eye for value, and most of their “treasure” is sparkly garbage, belt buckles, loose coins and the like. Still, the raid has put your warriors in good spirits, and you now have thirty-six new slaves to bring back to your camp.

You look down at the harpy matriarch, still looking more curious than fearful from within her net, while the younger harpy you caught trying to rescue her is a stark contrast, screeching and thrashing in her net.

“Aletiya, I have questions for you,” you grunt, crouching down next to the harpy leader.

“Questions,” she parrots, her tone sing-song yet awkward as ever.

“First, can you call back the rest of your nest? Bring them back, convince them to be good,” you grin.

Aletiya stares at you, twisting and shifting her body in the net to sit up on her knees.

“Call back?”

“Yes, call them back.”

“Can't, won't come, trap,” she chirps.

“Why would they think it's a trap?”

“Ugly ones, hurt harpy, use harpy, call other harpies,” she continues.

Well that's disappointing, you suppose living as they do, the harpies are paranoid about ambushes from their predators.

“What are the ugly ones, troglodytes?”

Aletiya chirps, she's probably never heard them called that before, so you suppose she has no way of knowing.

“Dark skin, hairy, long arms?”

“Yes, troglodytes, ugly, nasty, eat harpies, hurt harpies, hate harpies. Kill harpies when they catch us,” the matriarch nods.

“So harpies kill them when we catch them too,” she continues, a predatory grin spreading across her angelic features.

“Are the troglodytes the only things hunting you?”

“Yes, stay out of snake territory, both big snake, and snakes with non-snake part, big snake eat harpies, not snake snakes drive harpies off, kill sometimes.”

“Lamia, the non snake snakes are called lamia,” you grunt.

“Lamia, lamia,” the matriarch chirps. It seems that despite her awkwardness with elven speech, she's not slow, she's picking up the new words quickly enough.

“What do you know about those nearby? Other races, other nests, others we could keep for breeding?”

The matriarch gives a slight frown. “Harpies? Only need harpies, not need not-harpies for breeding. Troglodytes not good as harpies, lamia not good as harpies, elves not good as harpies.”

“Fine, so start with the harpies, are there other nests around?” you sigh.

“Yes, one, not as big as my nest, weaker, less magic,” Aletiya chirps, her impressive chest puffing out with pride.

“How strong is your magic? How many of your nest can do it?” you ask, squatting down to lift Aletiya upright as her shuffling drops the matriarch on her side with a squawk.

“Aletiya has best magic, strongest magic, why matriarch. Some of nest have magic too. Very good, very powerful, smash troglodytes, smash lamia, none as strong as Aletiya.”

You raise an eyebrow, you suppose you did jump her before she could use any spells, but you suspect the matriarch might be overselling her power somewhat.

Oh, it occurs to me that I need to ask this for the next post. Are you letting the harpies who agree to behave loose, or keeping them netted?

Carrying all of the harpies netted means most of your raiding party will have a harpy slung over their back, but setting them loose risks some of them escaping if they aren't as eager as the matriarch.

Which reminds me, harpy magic is vocal based right? I wonder what they'd think of how Ur intimidated the trogs, would they think it was magic?

“Aletiya, tell the other harpies behave, and we'll take you back to our camp,” you grunt.

“Then mating?”

“Of course. I'll be mating with you personally,” you grin, earning a happy chirp from the matriarch.

You help the matriarch to her feet, which more involves her leaning on you while you keep her upright with an arm around her middle, her heavy breasts resting on your bare skin.

Taking a deep breath, Aletiya lets out a series of musical tones and chirps, her loud, clear voice drowning out the noises of her panicking nest and the talking of your warriors. When her voice fades, most of the harpy sounds have quieted down, save for a few stubborn ones.

“Behaving now, yes,” Aletiya chirps, smiling up at you.

“Good, now bear with it until we get back to the camp, and I'll make up for the uncomfortable journey,” you smile, hefting the netted matriarch onto your back, then crouching down to scoop up the sullen younger harpy next to her.

The younger one squawks, trying to claw at your back, raking ineffectually at your armor until an errant claw scratches the matriarch, who gives a shrill, angry noise, which seems to quieten down the younger harpy considerably.

It's going to be a long walk back with your cargo, and while you scared off the troglodytes before, they might see this as a good chance to strike you while you're weighed down and try to make off with some of your captives. You could push back through their territory, or take the longer route you disregarded before.

>Go through the trog territory
>Take the longer route

>Which reminds me, harpy magic is vocal based right? I wonder what they'd think of how Ur intimidated the trogs, would they think it was magic?

You'd rather not carry all of your new captives for longer than you have to, especially through territory you haven't already passed though. With any luck the troglodytes will still be too nervous from your last encounter to try anything, and if not, you suppose you'll just have to crack more skulls until they learn.

“What do you know about the lamia?” you ask the matriarch as you walk, Raka padding alongside you sniffing the air.

“Lamia, walls, lots of spikes, ambush from water, ambush from trees, lots of magic,” Aletiya chirps, her voice shaky from the motion of you carrying her.

Sounds like hitting their compound will be quite a challenge, you'll have to come in force if you want to dislodge them.

You camp a bit before the troglodyte territory, many of your warriors tired from the day's battle and the long walk, picking out a good dry spot amongst some rocks to rest. K'zala and Sho'ka curl up with you, though with the extra effort of keeping watch over all the captives, there's little time for fun tonight.

>>42107404
After a few hours sleep, the raiding party sets off once more, eager to be back at the camp where they can enjoy their spoils in relative peace. You soon find yourself on the edge of the troglodyte territory, the rough carvings and occasional hanging bone effigy and rotten, dangling viscera marking it clearly as you pass within.

You soon spot the troglodytes skulking on the edge of your vision, their hoots and grunts echoing through the trees as they hang back, watching you intently. More frustratingly, it makes your captives harder to maintain, many of the harpies panicking and struggling as they realize they're surrounded by the predatory fey with no means of escape, your warriors being forced to grip on to the nets tight and keep their captives under control.

Your two captives at least are maintaining some semblance of calm, the matriarch watching the troglodytes impassively, while the younger harpy's talons flex against the netting, her brow knotted with loathing.

>“First, can you call back the rest of your nest? Bring them back, convince them to be good,”

>No, they would think it's a trap by the troglodytes.

Idea. If the Harpy Matriarch is really that happy to sign on with us and get green cock, then we just need to give her the means to convince others.

Slaughter some trogs and give her their heads. She can visit other nests and show them as proof it's not a trog trap.

A safe nest. Big strong protectors. All the cock they could want. What's not to love about that deal? We could have a self-recruiting Harpy Harem.
>>
The journey back through the troglodyte territory is fairly uneventful, a few of the braver trogs rush in and attack warriors near the edge of the group, trying to make off with their slaves. Their efforts are wasted however, as you keep your pack together and organized enough that most who make the attempt end up dead for their foolishness, the survivors fleeing back into the jungle with panicked shrieks.

Soon the attacks drop off, and your pack's quick dispatching of the troglodyte raiders calms many of the jumpy harpies as well. Before too long, you are out the other side of the troglodyte territory, the midday sun filtering down between the leaves. From there it's a simple journey, and you reach the edge of the jungle, back to the familiar expanse of the wastes.

“Never gone from trees, this is where green men live?” Aletiya asks, her sing-song voice curious as she stares out at the dusty wasteland.

“This is where my clan lives, for now anyway,” you nod, setting out across the rocky wastes with your new slaves.

Your return to the camp draws a great deal of attention, much of the clan clustering around to admire the new slaves and hear of your victories. The harpies seem in general overwhelmed by their strange surroundings and the mass of orcs, and some still look unnerved, but many more look curious.

“That was fun, I was kind of hoping we'd get a proper fight with the trogs, but there's always next time,” Sho'ka grins, stretching her tall, athletic body out as she walks alongside you, K'zala smiling silently as she sticks close to your other side.

In case I fall asleep or have to leave before the time comes, I'll just leave this here for future reference:
If Ur fucks the matriarch first, I recommend stripping the daughter and having one of our haremettes hold her from behind, spreading her legs to show off her slit, but not touch her inappropriately at all except to spread her lips or something maybe, to make it more obvious as she becomes more and more aroused while her mother gets fucked. Ashuris or Lokasi might be the best for this, or Ya'zada, since Sho'ka can't be trusted to keep her hands to herself.
If it's the other way around, I guess we could warm up with a titfuck/blowjob from the matriarch, then have her hold her daughter down while we fuck her and maybe finger the matriarch or something?

Also for the Bryna pastebin I could see it going the way of Bryna on top of Ur 69 style, sucking his balls and jerking him while he fingers her, maybe with some dirty talk of his size when she pushes herself up every once in a while to lick up the precum, since I doubt Bryna hasn't taken any other dicks bigger than Ur's fingers, because if she hasn't then that could be another topic of dirty talk. And then fucking her while facing her, since her first time was facing away from us.

Spotting Dru'ak, you call out to your old friend, bringing him over, the large orc breaking off from the rest of the honorguard to speak with you.

“Dru'ak, can you and Koz'rak sort out the rest of the slaves, see that the warriors who did well get one of their own, and that the rest are given to Za'ria for communal breeding,” you explain, Dru'ak nodding in response, turning and wandering away to deal with the rest of the slaves.

Right now you would rather focus only on the two slaves you're keeping for yourself, your mates following as you head back for your hut.

“Welcome to your new nest, Aletiya,” you grin, stepping in through the front of the hut, which is quite sizeable given its need to contain your growing harem and the separate area for the whelps to crawl around in.

Setting the two harpies down on the ground, you let them take a moment to look around, the younger harpy's eyes flicking back and forth, her talons still flexing, while the matriarch gives a curious chirp.

“What's her name?” you ask Aletiya, nodding to the younger harpy.

“Eyira, my daughter, very strong but weak magic, sweet girl,” the matriarch explains, shifting her wings as she wriggles around in the net for a more comfortable position.

“Can she speak elvish?”

“Yes, speaks elvish,” Aletiya chirps, an impish smile on her face as she looks from her daughter to you.

“Doesn't speak elvish, thinks she sounds silly,” the matriarch giggles, her attempts at exaggerated whisper sounding very strange with her melodic tones.

The younger harpy pouts, frowning at her mother as Aletiya smiles back at her.

“You've been very patient, Aletiya,” you grin, the harpy matriarch giving an eager chirp as you free her from the net, stretching out her large blue wings as far as they'll go as she works out the kinks from her extended period cramped up in the net.

You take a moment to admire the matriarch's body, her breasts full and heavy, her hips built for breeding, a trait you've noticed in all the harpies, but one which is even more pronounced in the mature female. Her bright blue feathers shimmer in the sunlight filtering through the doorway of your hut, rich and silky, her angelic features beaming at you as she sweeps a strand of blue hair from her face with the back of her wing.

With an eager chirp, the matriarch jumps at you, her deceptively light body clinging to yours as she wraps her wings around your shoulders, the feathers warm and soft to the touch. You wrap an arm around the harpy's back, sliding your calloused palm across the soft skin, reaching down to cup one of her plush buttocks.

Giving you a grin, you see one of Aletiya's legs reach up, her talon hooking the waist of your leggings, it seems that harpies are also remarkably flexible. With impressive care and dexterity, she loosens the leggings, her razor sharp talons not once scratching the skin as she tugs them down over your cock, the thick meat springing free.

Aletiya gives a happy chirp as you kick off the leggings, peering down at the swelling length now prodding at her large backside.

“You've never had an orc before, have you?” you grin, holding the matriarch in place as she tries to wiggle herself onto your length.

“Never, look Eyira, huge orcs,” the matriarch sings, pouting as she tries to angle herself onto your tip without success.

You look over at the younger harpy, who whets her lips as she watches her mother's attempts, her eyes fixed on your hard shaft. Despite the fight in her, it seems that harpies are a race after your own heart, at least where it comes to mating, you can already see the Eyira's imagination running wild.

“What say we show your daughter what she has to look forward to?” you growl, squeezing the soft flesh of the harpy's thick ass.

Shifting your grip on the plush globes, you guide the harpy to the tip of your shaft, feeling the searing head of her insides as she swallows up your length. You give a contented grunt, Aletiya's cry halfway between a moan and a birdsong as she draws you in. The harpy matriarch feels well suited to your size, her body eagerly accepting your shaft without resistance, yet still pleasantly tight, clenching down around you, her skillful walls squeezing, milking you.

She gasps, her wings wrapping tighter around your shoulders, her head buried in your chest, her hair tickling your chin. “Better than elf, far better than elf,” she gasps, her legs wrapping around your waist.

“Damn right it is,” you snort, starting to establish a rhythm, rocking her against you, your hips slapping together, the lewd chorus of flesh on flesh and mingling juices almost drowned out by the matriarch's shrill cries as the two of you slam into each other. You grunt as you bottom out within her, your balls slapping against the plush cushion of the matriarch's rear with every thrust, her impressive breasts mashed against your solid chest.

>>42108786
“You belong to me now, Aletiya, my slave to breed with whenever I want,” you growl, picking up your pace, her body shuddering as she lets out an earsplitting shriek, her climax echoing out across the camp and into the wastes beyond.

“Yes, breed me, give you all the chicks you want,” she chirps, already recovering from her first orgasm as she grinds her hips against yours, trying to get as much of your length inside of her as possible.

With an approving growl, you kneel down, setting the matriarch down on her back on the furs. From your new position atop her you hammer into her even more vigorously, enjoying every twitch and shudder as it passes through her body, her chirps and cries reaching a fever pitch as you claim her, your eyes locking with hers as you pump the first thick load of your seed inside of the harpy's fertile body.

“So much, there will be many eggs,” Aletiya sighs, her soft wings stroking your back as she clings to you, drawing every last drop of your seed into her eager womb.

“Yes, many eggs,” you repeat, grinning, the matriarch looking up at you through lidded eyes.

“More?” she asks, her small tongue flicking out to lick along her bottom lip.

“Much more,” you smirk, as you start to pick up your pace.

>>42108801
You lose track of how much time has passed before you finally manage to tire out your insatiable new slave, a quivering, shuddering mess beneath you, her feathers and hair matted with sweat and other fluids. You pull yourself out of her, sad to leave behind the comfortable warmth of her insides, provoking a torrent of trapped seed to pour out of her well-used pussy without your shaft there to plug it.

You roll your shoulder as you sit up, you'll admit, that was a bit of a challenge, even for you. You don't know if you could have gone for more than another hour without a break, it seems you still have much to learn.

Glancing over at the matriarch's daughter, you find the younger harpy gasping. She eyes you with barely concealed lust, her thighs rubbing together unashamedly. Apparently your display, or perhaps the heavy scent of orcish seed and sweat now thick in the hut, have had quite an effect on Eyira.

“Your turn, Eyira,” you smirk, helping the younger harpy out of her netting.

You see her wings twitch, her claws scraping against the stone as she contemplates escape, but the urge is too strong, and a moment later she picks herself up, her body relaxing as she stretches out her limbs with a high tone.

The matriarch's daughter lacks the full, curvy figure of her mother, for the most part. Her limbs are long and slim, her chest modest, and she looks far better suited to flight than the older female. Her hips however are just as wide as any other harpy, a pleasant curve to them against her otherwise lithe figure. While you can certainly make out the similarities between Eyira and Aletiya, the younger harpy's features are a little sharper, perhaps a very slight hint of elven parentage slipping through her harpy nature.

As Eyira stretches, you circle the harpy, taking her in from all angles, admiring her slim figure and it's contrast with her rounded rear. Stepping up behind her, you let your still hard cock, slick with your seed and her mother's juices, press up against her back, your hands wrapping around the front of the harpy under her wings. She gives a stifled gasp as one hand works its way down her front, over her flat belly to her slit. Grinning, you part the lips with your fingers, feeling the moisture trapped within, the younger harpy is more than ready for you, but you aren't quite ready to her yet.

(cont)
>>
>>42110369
Pulling her back onto a chair, you sit her on your lap, calling for one of your slaves to bring you something to drink. As you wait, your fingers explore the young harpy's folds, never going too deep, teasing her with your thick digits as she grinds against your length.

Inka bounds up with an overeager smile, handing you a mug of ale, which you gulp down in a few hearty chugs, never stopping your ministrations as you do. The young harpy, clearly far less experienced than her mother, is soon writhing in your grip, gasping and moaning, her arousal strangely melodic on her harpy tongue.

“Do you want what your mother got?” you whisper in the harpy's ear, feeling a shudder run through her body as your breath tickles her neck.

Eyira gasps, her feathers brushing against your tip as she tries to reposition herself to make her desires a reality. Smirking, you push your fingers a little deeper, stopping her motions as she arches her back, crying out.

“Then you have to ask for it,” you grin.

The young harpy glares back at you, giving a frustrated chirp, trying to wriggle free of your grip to take control, but despite how slippery a slim, sweaty harpy proves to be, you're quite experienced at keeping hold of slaves by now, and all she manages to do is stimulate you further as her wide hips grinds against your length.

“If you don't want to, we can save this for later, I have plenty of other slaves to choose from,” you smirk, glancing over at your harem.

The young harpy's brow knots into a frustrated pout, a tiny sound, barely audible, escaping her lips.

(cont)
>>
>>42110387
“I missed that,” you growl, letting your fingertips brush across her swollen button.

“Please,” the harpy chirps in halting elvish, her voice high and musical, you don't think she sounds any stranger than her mother does speaking, you suppose she's just more shy than the matriarch.

“Please?”

“Please, mate,” she chirps again, her cheeks burning. You suppose it says something about harpy culture that she's more embarrassed about speaking a language she struggles with than she is of mating with a male in full view of an audience, very different from the other races you've claimed so far.

“Since you asked,” you grin, loosening your grip. Eyira wastes no time, her talons clinging to the arm rests of the chair, her hips raising. Staring down and blinking, she lines herself up and, with a triumphant chirp, spears herself on your cock in one fluid motion. Once again you enjoy the mixture of ease and tightness that comes with harpy females, and while Eyira seems less experienced in her motions, she makes up for it with an energy and enthusiasm, not to mention a bit of added tightness, that her mother lacked.

She lets out a high pitched cry as she bounces on your lap, her wings spread wide, her back arching as she drives herself down to the hilt without hesitation. She needs little encouragement in that regards, so leaving the Eyira to her workout, you reach up, playing your rough fingers across her small breasts. Her voice hitches up a tone as you flick a thumb across her hard nipple, the sensitivity of the more flat chested female evident.

You continue the assault, stroking, pinching and flicking the nipples, the younger harpy growing so shrill it rings in your ears as you torment her, her body reaching one shuddering climax after another, screaming out without shame. The harpies frenzied motions slow to a stop as she trembles with the aftershocks of her explosive orgasm, looking back over her shoulder at you, her eyes dreamy.

(cont)
>>
>>42110398
“Cum?”

“You want it already, hmm?”

The harpy gives an unhappy frown, you suppose she's feeling a little disappointed at her inability to draw your seed out with her efforts. Not that it's any fault of her own, she's far more skilled than many of the other slaves the clan have, but you suppose she doesn't know that you're a special case.

Chuckling, you take hold of her hips, pulling her down as you drive up into her. Her back arches as her body, still sensitive from her climax, is assailed by this new assault, her voice coming out shrill and clear. You bounce the young harpy in your lap, grunting as you feel your own peak growing near, and with a roar, you unload into Eyira's body, her walls gripping you tight as you spurt thick gobs of orcish seed deep within her.

Eyira collapses back against you, her eyes closing, a contented chirp escaping her lips as she submerges herself in the sensations. You sit back, letting the harpy rest herself against your chest as you join her in the afterglow of your mating.

“The two of you will give me many healthy whelps, I'm sure,” you growl, the young harpy giving a pleased, sleepy sound as her head dips against her chest. You suppose this workout was a little too much for her after her long day.

You think you've had all the fun you can have with your slaves for now, and you're feeling a little spent in that regard yourself, at least for the next few hours.

Your lieutenants seem to have done their job in organizing the new slaves, and several of your clan are already enjoying the new harpies, who are getting into the spirit of things admirably. Smirking, you pass your rutting clanmates, heading for the tent of your wizened shaman.

You find Ku'zag sat on his new favorite rock outside his tent, carving away at a small chunk of bone with a rusted knife, staring off into the horizon. He grunts as you approach, continuing his work in silence.

“Ku'zag, I plan to go out to the ruin the scouts told us about, with the Dust Devils,” you explain, Ku'zag pausing his carving to squint up at you.

“...and you want my advice on dealing with the spirits?”

“That, and whether you think it would help if I went there alone, showed Skor'oz Zik I'm willing to make the effort,” you shrug.

“It might, the Desolate God is a hard one to please, but he always appreciates those willing to prove themselves through suffering.”

“I suppose there's only one way to find out then,” you snort, as Ku'zag goes back to his carving.

“As for the Dust Devils, depending on why they're there, they might attack, or they might not, play it by ear, and be respectful. That doesn't mean appearing weak though, if they sense weakness they'll come for blood,” Ku'zag explains, the shaman's weathered face creasing up as he stares intently at his carving, scraping out some last fragments of bone.

“So what do you think's in there?”

“Couldn't say, it might just be a site which is sympathetic to Skor'oz Zik's divine energies in some way, or they might have been actively placed there. If it's the former, it could be for any number of reasons, if it's the latter, then some priest must've passed through, which could mean orcish artifacts, maybe holy texts. Skor'oz Zik's priests were always stashing useful things in caches to come back to later.”

You nod, catching the bone carving as Ku'zag tosses it to you, turning it over in your hand.

“An iron ward,” you grunt.

The ancient shaman nods, picking another chunk of bone from a small pile by his foot and starting his carving once more.

“You may have cleared most of the horrors lurking in the border wastes, but you'll be going further west than you ever have before, plenty of other abyssal dangers out that way.”

“Just more things to impress the gods with,” you shrug.

“Just don't impress them with an early grave, no matter how glorious the death,” Ku'zag snorts, shooing you away.

Slipping the ward into a pouch, you track down Or'kug, running through your plans for the larger group. The old orc takes it all in well, questioning you on some parts as you explain it to him.

“We should be careful about introducing too much new blood all at once, if the new clanmembers outnumber the old, it could make things very unstable,” Or'kug grunts, the old orc leaning against a wall, his bony fingers drumming against the stone.

“Makes sense, we can take them in over time, there's no rush,” you shrug.

“So are we going for the smaller clans, or trying to convince one of the bigger ones?”

“Stick to smaller clans for now, if possible avoid recruiting clans who hate each other, but if you can't, we'll deal with it,” you grunt.

“Sounds reasonable, I'll feel them out first, then see about who to recruit,” Or'kug replies, pushing off from the wall.

“Good. Once we've gathered up all the clans we can, we can start looking at striking against larger targets, maybe put down Slaagyr, or investigate Xipil's cult,” you nod.

“We could go straight past the dragons and scout out the city-states too, it will open up a lot more options,” Or'kug replies, frowning.

“We'll see, anyway, once you've gathered up three or four clans, head back, hopefully I'll be back by then too,” you grunt, Or'kug nodding as you walk away.

You spend the new hour or so gathering up supplies for your journey, plenty of food and water, a couple of the elixirs, and some foul smelling antivenom Zo'rok offers you. You also gather up some things you found useful during your tomb raiding, simple tools and a length of rope.

You lay the items out on the floor of your hut, going over them all to ensure everything is there.

“Are you really going alone? That's a long way out into the wastes,” Aleida frowns, shifting one of the whelps on her lap as it suckles greedily at her breast.

“Watch your back out there,” Ya'zada frowns, you suppose your mate still has bad memories from the kulakin raid.

You snort, waving off the concerns, and enjoying an evening in your hut with your harem, who are all pleased for the attention, even if you never do quite sense the thread of tension fading.

You awaken early, clambering out from amidst the slumbering mass of females, raising an eyebrow as you spot Eyira sleeping on the table, she must have moved herself at some point in the night, perhaps harpies feel uncomfortable sleeping at ground level.

Leaving the harpy to her sleep, you glance in on the whelps, they're already starting to grow, it won't be long before they're ready to be let out into the camp to wander. You can already see a hierarchy forming, it looks like one of Sho'ka's whelps has seized the alpha position amidst the group, sleeping with her tiny body sprawled across the most comfortable furs, growling quietly to herself in some dream or other.

Stepping outside and gathering up your equipment, you start towards the edge of the camp, it's going to be a long walk, several days according to the map the scouts made for you, but if it can convince Skor'oz Zik to start paying more favorable attention to your clan, and to you, it will be worth it.

You hear a snort, the sound of soft padding feet on stone, Raka plodding up behind you, his furry flat face staring up at yours with a quizzical expression.

Just one orc and his freaky fey-dog-monster-thing against the wastes.

“Alright, let's go,” you grunt, Raka giving a pleased chuff as he falls into step alongside you, the two of you heading down the slope of the camp past the sentries and out into the wastes. The sun is still low on the horizon, the morning air warm and dry, a slight breeze kicking up wisps of orange dust. From here it'll be around three days walk west before you're entering territory you've never been to before, into the unknown of the deep wastes.

Soon the camp is little more than a speck on the horizon, the sun creeping higher in the sky. Thankfully with the cooler season still holding sway, the heat is not unbearable, and the going is easy enough, at least by the standards of the wastes, you and Raka making quick work of a pair of surly needlebacks which bar your path.

The second day is more of the same, after a night camping out alone under the stars, eating an stringy but edible meal of needleback meat. Raka bounds between the rocks, sniffing the air, sneezing as he gets a nose full of the waste dust. It's strange being alone out here, in the wastes, even back before you were chieftain, you never really went hunting alone, always with Zo'rok and Dru'ak, and while you have Raka for company, the lack of another orcish presence is an odd sensation.

>>42113160
The third day brings with it little more excitement, you catch a straggler of a Rootsucker herd, good fatty meat which will fill your belly for the rest of the day, Raka's white and black coat stained red around the muzzle as the bandersnatch gorges himself on your hefty prize.

Squinting into the distance, you realize that you no longer recognize the familiar outcroppings and ridges of Stonetusk territory, it's all unknown from here on out. Frowning, you squint down at the map, looks like it's a pretty simple journey west, with a detour to the north around something your scouts have marked as “stinking water”.

Shrugging, you pick yourself up from your meal, grunting for Raka to follow as you set off, your hunting beast bounding up next to you, a thick chunk of rootsucker meat clasped in his heavy jaws.

Day four brings you close to the stinking water, and while you've yet to see it for yourself, you can certainly smell it. The whole area stinks like rotten eggs, and Raka spends his time in a foul mood, sneezing and growling. Your scouts said the stinking water wasn't deadly, just unpleasant, so you could head straight through, or take the longer route around they suggested.

“I'll meet you on the other side,” you grunt, nodding to the north to Raka as you head on straight towards the stinking water.

The fey beast huffs, padding after you despite his clear discomfort, snout wrinkling at the stench.

“Fine, come on then, but no complaining,” you snort, picking over the rocks as you head closer to the source of the foul stink.

It's a strange sight, perhaps not quite as bizarre as the first time you saw the jungle, but still nothing like anything you've seen before. The ground here feels strangely warm, the air rancid and humid, in places pools of steaming water collect amongst the cracks of the rocky ground, the deeper cracks bringing bubbles up to the surface with them. Strange yellowy-green lichen clings to the stone, slippery underfoot, making the journey treacherous.

Frowning you press on, clambering between the drier areas, avoiding the bubbling pools entirely. You squint into the distance, seeing a great gout of water burst up into the air high overhead, raining down in myriad tiny droplets which catch the midday sun.

Picking your way closer, you see the source of the spray, a large pool of water, ringed by the bright lichen, bubbling away, a haze of steam drifting off from its surface. While you are interested in impressing Skor'oz Zik, you doubt there's much good to come from getting too close to that thing, so you skirt around it, continuing on your way.

Raka looks miserable as you pass by more of the strange water jets, sneezing and rubbing his nose with his forepaw, but keeps quiet despite his irritation, he must've taken your telling him not to complain seriously.

(cont)
>>
>>42114105
Thankfully by the late evening, you've passed the jets, and the pools of water are starting to become less common. By the time you camp, the smell has been reduced to a vague unpleasant background odor. Raka looks overjoyed to have put the stinking water behind him, the shaggy fey beast chewing on an old bone, bleached by the sun.

You spotted no animal life near the stinking water, so you have to start on your dried meat. You've still got enough for a couple more days without hunting, but you'd rather not press it if you don't have to.

The morning of the fifth day starts well, you manage to ambush some more rootsuckers, finding enough meat to keep you fed through to tomorrow, the smell fades into the background, and things seem to be getting back into the sense of normalcy you're used to in the wastes. The day is good, the ground is rough but easy enough to traverse, the sun is pleasantly warm, and the predators keep to themselves. It's enough to make you wonder if things were about to take a turn for the worse.

Dusk is when your prediction bears unfortunate fruit, as you contemplate setting up camp for the night as you pick over the rough, rocky terrain. Raka gives a low growl deep in the back of his throat, his shoulders hunching as his body goes low, you glance down at your companion, his ears pinned back and eyes wide, feeling a sting on your cheek, a sensation which is all too familiar.

Your scar burns, a sharp stabbing pain you haven't felt since you put down the tonguerippers. The abyss is here.

(cont)
>>
>>42114134
You hear a clatter of loose rock off over the ridge, and grabbing Raka by the scruff of his neck, you pull him down behind a large boulder to watch, the bandersnatch's body tense, muscles strained as he stares towards the ridge.

The seconds turn to minutes as you listen to the clattering rocks, until you see a shape cresting the ridge in the dim twilight. It clambers up and over the rocks, trudging across your path, seemingly oblivious to your presence. It's a strange sight, a great bulbous round body without a head suspended high in the air atop a pair of long, spindly legs, two equally long arms swinging by its sides as it picks its way across the rocks, its greenish-black form glistening in the dim light. It's a gigantic beast, some fifteen feet tall upright, but if it wasn't for the burning of your cheek, you'd probably find the thing more comical than frightening, its body wobbles, its swaying uneven gait looking as if it could tip over at a moment's notice.

It pauses, arms swaying by its sides, a sound like heavy breathing carrying across the still wastes, the usual night time noises fading away into silence.

The abyssal creature gives a sound like a sigh, turning away and picking off through the rocks to the south.

You gesture for Raka to stay low and quiet, as you pick your way through the rocks after the creature. Since it lacks eyes, you're not entirely sure how it sees, but since it seems to be capable of finding its way across the rocks, it must be able to sense somehow.

For lack of any more information than that, you stick to hanging back a decent distance and staying in cover as much as possible as you follow the gangly horror. It meanders across the wastes, seemingly at random, occasionally stopping to utter another strange sigh, or simply stop and sway in place.

Fortunately it doesn't seem to have spotted you, but you are starting to wonder whether this thing “does” anything at all, after following it for some two hours, the moon now high overhead. Frowning, you realize you've gone somewhat off course, but not by as much as you'd expect, despite its roundabout route, the giant horror seems to be heading west as well.

Sighing again, it turns south, further off of your course, trudging on through the wastes.

Ur doesn't really know, from what he's told all abyssal horrors exist to spread the abyss, but he's no expert on the subject, and he's encountered a few horrors in his tomb robbing which seems to be pretty pointless when compared to the horrific things he's fought before.

This thing has been a huge waste of time, but at the very least you can earn some favor with the gods putting another abyssal horror in the ground. You glance over to Raka, the hulking bandersnatch's body still low, his ears pinned back, an uneasy look across his features.

Gesturing for him to follow, you skulk closer to the thing, picking your way between rocks as it stands there, swaying gently.

As you draw closer, a foul stink of rotting meat hits your nostrils, and you choke back a gag, fighting down your earlier meal as the stench overwhelms you. Blinking tears from your eyes, you continue on, trying to draw close enough to strike the creature, your cheek burning more with every step you take.

(cont)
>>
>>42115431
It slowly turns, its whole body shaking precariously as it turns to face you, though with its lack of a head all you have to go on is the direction of the thing's limbs. So much for sneaking up on it, you suppose it must have some sort of extrasensory abilities.

Raka growls a deep, fearful growl, hair standing on end as the thing looms overhead , the moonlight casting a sickly sheen on its corpulent form. It twitches, its whole body jerking with a vile wretching sound as its belly starts to bulge and distort, the creature's torso splitting open, spilling a torrent of glistening red viscera. The gore hits the ground with a sickening squelch, blood and bile oozing out of the mound as the horror's shredded torso hangs open, exposing a writhing mass of flesh within.

The pile of viscera starts to stir, half formed shapes tearing and gouging at the mass, trying to pull themselves free of the confines, orcish bodies formed of gore and entrails, dragging themselves free, rusty blood-caked blades clutched in misshapen appendages. More and more of the fleshy orc-things drag themselves loose, some missing limbs, legless and dragging themselves along the rocks, some conjoined by tangled intestine. The horror lets out a loud sigh, running a hand along the ragged edge of its ruptured stomach, its other arm reaching out towards you over the growing horde at its feet, grasping, beckoning, begging you to join them.

Somehow it doesn't seem as comical any more.

Not in the wastes, which are a pain to get to since the kingdom doesn't let anyone through, which means going all the way north or south, either through the jungle or through the howling mountains, then heading deep into the wastes itself, which have not only deadly animal life, but horrors, and an orcish population.

There are other abyssal ruins which are far easier to get to for adventurers closer to civilized lands.
