Hunters should move forward and scout.
Knights form protective block on our Guides. Militia needs to provide sniper support. Find a vantage point and take out spot targets.

If we got somebody who hasn't moved to investigate those two dudes already, then do so ASAP. They look important and some of us would like to get earned classes.

Goals, as always:
1) Keep moving to the stairs/elevator/whatever up.
2) Guard any friendly NPCs we find
3) Watch the backs of your bros. If you have an ability that would save somebody's life rather than damaging a monster, do so. You'll earn more rewards for one, and secondly we're all squishy little nearly dead dudes in these games. We depend on team work above all else.

With that in mind:
Rogues: close in damage support. Be sneaky and stab things to death as best you can.
Hunters: CC and scouting, also damage. If you got iron maidens, capture shit for rewards, and be courteous and share them with whoever assisted you in the capture.
Knights: You're our walls buddies. Keep yourself between the enemy and the magic users.
Militia: Snipe shit and scout with those binoculars and keep moving.
Mage: You know what you do best with your particular set of words. Keep them rolling and keep battlefield control as best you can. Don't be afraid to use Blocks to cut off passage for enemies. You're even better at CC than Hunters.
Guides: Don't take risks. We can't afford you guys to die. Get wards planted regularly as you go along, heal well, and don't forget to buff the Mages for bonus damage, each other for bigger heals. If the choice is between you splashing a Pulse and channeling onto a friendly guide who is trying to pulse, probably better to channel them and boost their heal range.

Well... to a point. Aether Crystals are used as a main ingredient in most magical items and equipment. Certain elements serve as batteries or cores for various instruments. Needless to say they are second only to Gold Quantums. Now if only we had some mining equipment we can help ourselves to some. However, since we don't we can settle on destroying the cluster and salvaging what we can find. Those clusters are Pyra-aligned so I wouldn't use any Fire or Water on them, however raw blunt forces will work everytime.

We plan too, but the problem is that we have to reserve an action to do so. We have to light up the area AND have a reserved action to shoot any of the fuckers. Overwatch isn't enough without a persistent source of light. And we just don't HAVE any.

This will require hard core team work
mages need to light fires, then use their second action to blast anything revealed by those fires. Or they have to work with the milita and hunters (but hunters may not have the range)

We need a persistent source of light. Something that will CONTINUE to be bright.

If we could somehow get the aether crystals to light up that would do the trick, but I seriously doubt...

Can somebody put a fire arrow into that near one?

Also we're about to sage, we NEED to have a new thread now. Can somebody put it up?

It's worth noting that I was the only mage carrying a book of Fire, and it takes an action to switch books and an action to prepare a spell. So a minimum of two turns to cast a fire spell of any kind. Militia and Hunters and Rogues all carry explosives or incendiaries, though.
