>>42324361>dat ass shothnnnggggg
Wow! I had a whole lot of fun running this, especially the race scene. I had no idea where all these clues were headed when I started tonight's episode, but now I think I have it all tied together. I should be able to continue this episode more over the long weekend, either in this thread or a new one, so stay tuned!
Some Easter eggs in this episode:The hot dog salesman who narrowly avoided the Grim Reaper minifig now has a name! He first appeared on the street in the city when Red was out on a date.>>42322504Randy Scott is better known to Legonauts as Court Wizard, and comprises one-third of the Sports Corps. This commercial was apparently shot before he was summoned to the realm.>>42323133I've had this rotary dial piece since I was a kid, but I just today received a Bricklink order with a handset.>>42323160I threw this together after anon rolled a 12 to listen in. I'm pretty happy with how it looks.
That's it for tonight, but I should be back before too long!In the meantime, most previous episodes are archived on suptg:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=lego%20questThere's a really big wiki about all kinds of things in the game here:http://legoquest.wikia.com/wiki/Lego_Quest_WikiAnd if you follow me on Twitter, you'll get a tweet when an episode starts or resumes:@EndmanOfFuturonSee you soon!
Nice shower curtain. Thanks for the quest!
>>42324008Feelin' hot hot hot
I really liked the backgrounds in this episode. Top notch work.
>>42324570>Nice shower curtain. Thanks, anon! I had to think fast after the idea of a shower scene hit me, but then I remembered that I had this white-and-trans-neon-orange garage door, last seen in an episode of Tales of the Valor Squadron. I only used one track on the bottom, but the curtain-door stood up on its own fine with just that. One thing I thought of that was really helpful was a SNOT brick stuck in the "floor" of the shower. I thought it did a lot to make >>42324008 look like an actual shower floor and not just a white plate.>>42326495Thanks! I feel bad for spending so much time on backgrounds compared to what I used to do, but as long as people like them, I'll keep it up!I'm going to be around for a little while, but then I will be out most of the day. I should be back in about 10 hours, and then we can have some more fun.
>>42324399I like how you go all-out with your backgrounds these days. I still remember the cardboard cities from when you first started.
