You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. Your journey into the deep wastes to explore the ruins your scouts told you about finally came to an end today. While the hibernating priestess Aza'ra wasn't exactly what you were expecting to find in the rooms beneath the crumbling structure, you suppose you can't complain, provided you can convince her to offer her support to the clan of course.

On your way back out of the ruins, you decided to investigate the final chamber of the structure, which seems to be a nest for some sort of acid-spewing creature. While you did find a few nice items amidst the undigested metal piled up in one corner of the room, the room's occupant heard you rummaging around, and by the sound of the screech echoing down through the hole in the ceiling, is coming to investigate.

Raka snarls, claws raking at the pitted stone, back bristling, the sound of countless legs moving with murderous purpose growing louder with every moment. The creature will be upon you soon.

“Well priestess, let's see if you've still got what it takes after all those years lazing around,” you grunt, hefting your axe as you eye the hole in the ceiling, the creature's hasty approach dislodging dust and pebbles from within.

Aza'ra snorts, one finger tracing the ragged edge of her old blade. You turn your attention to Raka, nodding for him to head over to the far corner. With any luck, when that thing comes out, you can draw its attention, giving your warbeast a chance to strike at its rear. The bandersnatch pads over obediently, hunkering down low behind a pile of filth and bone fragments, you doubt anyone looking hard could miss him, but it should be enough to disguise his presence for a few vital seconds.

With another shrill screech, the creature finally emerges from the hole, or perhaps erupts would be a better description. It thrashes wildly in the air, hundreds of small twitching legs kicking in the air as its head whips about in search of prey. It reminds you of some of the smaller millipedes that lurk in the wastes, its shell a series of dull grey plates, but while those rarely grow longer than your forearm, this one has grown to freakish size, its body as thick as your torso.

Its many tiny beady eyes fix on you and Aza'ra, the bottom of its head splitting open to reveal a wicked set of mandibles. A foul, yellowish-green liquid seeps from its mouth, sizzling where it strikes the stone, sending clouds of caustic smoke curling into the air.

You let out a roar, brandishing your axe as you charge for the creature, intent on keeping it busy for Raka to strike. What you hadn't counted on was the speed of the creature, yet more of its body erupting from the hole as its front legs reach the floor. Its mandibles open wide, and you dive to the side just in time to avoid a spray of the creature's acrid digestive juices directly into your face, the edge of the spray still catches your shoulder however, melting through the leather and chain and raising painful blisters across your skin as it eats away at the flesh. Rolling to the ground and back up onto your knee, you claw at the sizzling meat, tearing away what you can of the chemical still eating at the surface, that's going to leave quite a scar.

Aza'ra looks to have avoided the spray a little better than you, though she was still forced to dodge as the creature whipped its head, the priestess' left eye closed against the foul smoke as flecks of the acid sizzle against the side of her jaw.

Raka charges forward, perhaps believing the creature to be distracted, but more likely enraged by its attack on you. He lands on the thing's underside, still dangling in the air as it pulls more of its body from the hole, sharp claws tearing into the soft flesh under its chitin. The creature shrieks, thrashing wildly, dislodging your bandersnatch and throwing him into the pile of scrap, Raka howling with pain as a chunk of metal stabs into his side.

Aza'ra is back to her feet and muttering something under her breath, magic most likely, but the sound seems to have drawn the attention of the creature once more, which fixes its many eyes on the priestess.

You glance over at Raka, the Bandersnatch is dragging himself free of the wreckage, a sharp chunk of scrap metal lodged in his side, though it doesn't look like it dug deep enough to cause any serious internal damage at least.

“Raka, howl,” you command, as you close in on the creature once more.

Your warbeast wastes no time, pulling himself to his feet, his fur bristling as he lets out an earsplitting howl, the air rippling around his jaws from the force of it, bringing a great cloud of dust and debris down through the hole in the ceiling. The creature thrashes wildly at the sound, its mandibles snapping, its disorientated shrieks barely audible over the ringing in your ears. You seize your opportunity, swinging your axe for its underside as it rears up in confusion, cleaving through dozens of the thing's stubby legs and tearing a deep gouge into its flesh.

“You may want to move,” Aza'ra calls as your ears finally stop their ringing.

The priestess has finished her muttering, her hand raised before her in a claw-like shape, the skin looking grey and cracked up to her forearm. You dodge back, avoiding a wild snap of the creature's mandibles as you do so, eyes glancing between the priestess and the monster.

With a half-smirk, Aza'ra thrusts the palm of her hand out, the skin splitting open, a great cloud of grey dust bursting forth from the wound. The creature shrieks as the dust touches it, its dull scales turning white, crumbling at the edges, the flesh of its underbelly wrinkling and shriveling as the eyes on the side of its head facing the cloud crack, turning to powder in the socket.

>>42434779
You decide maybe you'll take just another couple of steps back from the cloud, as Raka skulks around the edge of the room to stand behind you, ears flat against his head.

“It'll be a few hundred years asleep before I'm too rusty to take on something like this,” Aza'ra snorts, as the thing trashes on the ground, gobs of acid splashing from its jaws as it tries to drag itself from the cloud.

Aza'ra snorts, turning from the pained creature, picking fragments of dried skin from her bleeding hand as the colour returns to it. You open your mouth to speak, only to see the thing fix its one good remaining eye on the priestess, surging forth with a speed born of desperate rage.

You growl, gripping your axe tight as you charge forward. Aza'ra starts to turn, but far too slow to react to the creature, which rears up in front of her, mandibles open wide. With a roar, you bring your axe down on the back of its head, the already weakened chitin splintering at the strike of the enchanted steel. The force of the blow slams the creature and axe down to the ground, its head split open as it impacts with the stone.

The thing gives a pitiful screech, vomiting up some last gouts of acid in a growing puddle around its mouth, its body still giving sporadic twitches even as the creature expires. Planting a boot to the back of its head, you wrench the blade of the axe free, bringing the weapon to rest on your shoulder.

“Ho, that was close, thought I'd killed it,” Aza'ra smirks, taking a step back as the acrid puddle grows around the creature.

“Thanks for the save there, chieftain. So, anything else we need in this room?”

You frown, powerful though her magic may be, it seems that this priestess is more than a little careless and flippant, which is surprising given what Ku'zag told you of her grim deity. Raka pads up alongside you, mirroring your frown with a scowl of his own, at least until he catches a whiff of the stinking smoke rising from the floor, bringing on a sudden sneezing fit from the hulking fey beast. He looks none the worst for wear, his wound will leave a scar, but you doubt you'll even see it under the fur.

>>
“That's everything we need here, unless there's some other secret to this place you know?” you ask, heading for the door.

“Not really, the Bloody Tusks cleared out most of the useful stuff ages ago,” she shrugs, as you all step back out into the partially collapsed chamber.

“Thanks for the help in there.”

“No problem, it was good to shake off some of the cobwebs.”

“Maybe next time you should make sure something's dead before you turn your back on it though.”

Aza'ra sighs, shaking some lingering twigs from her hair. “True enough, I suppose. Should've expected a bug like that to take some hard killing. Lesson learned for next time,” she shrugs.

You raise an eyebrow, you aren't entirely sure how well that lesson has been learned, but there's little point pushing the issue, especially since it is also true that her magic did do a lot of the damage to that thing.

The three of you cross the room, starting up the long flight of stairs to the trapdoor, Raka sniffing the air periodically.

“So where are your clan based? Near here?”

“Down near the jungle, it was quite a walk.”

“Uhuh, well, Skor'oz Zik'll like that for sure. Provided you don't die on the way back.”

“I wasn't planning to. What about you, what are you going to do now?” you grunt, glancing down at Raka as he cocks his head, an uneasy expression slipping into his eyes.

“If the Bloody Tusks are all dead, who knows. Might come back with you, at least take a look around. From there, who knows, sounds like a few things have changed while I've been sleeping, as they tend to.”

(cont)
>>
>>42435847
“More than a few,” you snort, stopping as Raka lets out a low growl, shoulders hunched.

“Eh, that's odd,” Aza'ra comments, sweeping back the tangled strands of her hair as she stares up into the gloom of the staircase.

“What is it?”

“One of my Dust Devils just got disrupted, I think,” she frowns, picking up her pace as she starts to jog up the stairs.

You charge up after her, Raka bounding alongside you. By the time you hit the trapdoor, she's already squeezing through it. Frowning, you bash up through the trapdoor after her, putting your full weight up into it to wrench open a larger gap.

The first thing you notice is the foul, familiar stink of rotting meat, then the wet squelching sounds. Something steps through the doorway at the far end, trailing intestine and gore, a rusty blade clutched in a hand of woven sinew and flesh. You see another squeezing through the gap smashed in the wall, and beyond them you can see more trying to drag their way into the ruin.

“That fucking thing is still alive?” Aza'ra snarls, knuckles turning pale as her grip tightens on the handle of her blade.

You can't see it from here, but you know full well what she's talking about. The Abyssal Horror from before, it must have followed you here. Or perhaps it was already coming here, who can say. What matters now is figuring out what to do, once again you are heavily outnumbered, and while only a few of the things have made it inside so far, there's plenty more hammering on the walls and trying to claw their way in through any gap they can find.

Question about Orcish Fury, does it only end when combat has ended, or can we have it end after a large number of enemies have died?
Also, these things are connected by intestines and gore, right? That means that electricity should affect all of them, right? Should maybe try our lightning gauntlets, once on a grunt, and save the other charge for the thing birthing these.
Ask Aza'ra what she knows about this thing, can it spawn infinite soldiers or what? Should we go for the main body after slimming down the numbers?

I disagree, I think we should try fighting these things first to see how they react to damage, if it's just a simple lose head meaning death then Orcish Fury might be good, but if they reform or something, then it's better to play this with our head cool.

“The thing you fought before, it's the Horror summoning up these creatures?”

Aza'ra nods, eyeing the visceral orcs as they stomp over the bones littering the ground.

“Anything you know about fighting this thing?”

“If I knew how to kill it, I wouldn't have lost,” Aza'ra snorts.

“Not really helpful, Aza'ra.”

“These are souls it's trapped, it could have dozens, maybe hundreds for all I know, all chained to the main body through its belly. The main body is faster than it looks too, when it wants to be, and the hide's tougher than an old troll.”

The first of the things reach you, silent save for the wet sounds of their bodies. Their movements are slow and clumsy, but more and more slither, crawl and shamble into the ruin. You lash out, severing one across the middle with your axe, the gore cleaving with ease, the top half of the thing unravelling into scattered viscera as it is separated from the main creature.

Raka stands by your side, snarling at the things, though he's made no move to attack yet, while Aza'ra hacks into the nearest one with her blade, the worn weapon slicing through the thing with surprising ease, lopping off its weapon arm in one strike.

A thought does occur to you though, as you swat aside a clumsy blow, catching another of the things with the flat of your axe with enough force to burst its head to strings of meat. If all of these things are connected to the main body, perhaps you have a means of striking at all of them at once.

More and more of the things spill into the ruins, leaking blood and bile which looks like it could soon coat the entire chamber. If you're going to try this out, it needs to be now before you'll be at risk of an unfortunate backlash.

“It didn't have this many before, it must have eaten the whole Bloody Tusk Clan,” Aza'ra calls, driving her blade into the half-formed face of one of the creatures, twisting it and wrenching it loose, trailing stringy sinew as it collapses.

“Stay back for a second, I have a plan,” you shout, fast becoming surrounded by the things.

You snarl as a rusting hatchet cuts into the leather of your leggings, swatting aside another of the things as it stabs at your side with a dagger, the chipped edge scraping off the enchanted starsteel of your breastplate.

Roaring, you lunge forward, knocking aside a blow with your arm, axe gripped in one hand. You drive forward the mailed fist of your other, into the soft innards of the thing before you. You feel the power building within the gauntlet, turning from a dull thrum to an explosive pulse, erupting out from the metal into the conductive flesh surrounding it.

The result is dramatic, the thing you struck explodes in all directions, spattering you in cooked flesh, arcs of electricity crackling and sparking in all directions as they jump between the Horror's visceral servants through the connecting strands of intestine. The cloying stink of blood and rotting flesh gives way to an overpowering stink of roasting meat, smoke rising as more of the things burst from the force of the charge channeled through their unstable forms.

There's a moment of stunned silence from your companions as the room goes silent save for the crackle of some last sparks and the slop of boiled flesh dripping from the ceiling.

“Well fuck, that's quite a plan you had there,” Aza'ra whistles, as Raka gives a pleased snort, stubby tail wagging as he surveys the carnage.

You hear a wail from beyond the ruin, followed by a loud crash, then another.

“I think you upset it,” Aza'ra comments, moments before something collides with the wall of the ruin, making the whole building list and shudder.

“Out, now,” you shout, as another impact makes the whole building tremble, the three of you racing for the door as ominous creaking sounds start to emanate from the ceiling.

Despite the slippery carpet beneath your feet, the three of you sprint for the door without stumbling, spurred on by adrenaline as the roof starts to cave in behind you. The three of you dive out of the ruin moments before it crashes down, falling in on itself, kicking up a great cloud of billowing dust as it falls.

Coughing, you pick yourself up, squinting through the obscuring dust at your two companions. Fortunately neither look to be injured, Raka picking himself up and sneezing, while Aza'ra hops to her feet, sweeping the tangled hair back from her face.

You hear another wail, a looming shape towering over you through the dust. Despite its lack of a face, you can feel the Horror's hatred all too keenly, more viscera slopping from its open belly as it lurches forward, still more of its slaves dragging themselves from the pile to attack.

“You got any more amazing plans?” Aza'ra asks, glancing around with eyes narrowed as the odds once again turn away from your favor, the newly spawned slaves forming a barrier between you and it once again.

>Raka can try to bait away the soldiers or howl at them and the horror to disrupt it, he's faster than the slaves, just keep an eye out for the horror, don't let it get you boy.
Aza'ra can call up the rest of her Dust Devils or something if there's still some around, or if not, then she can concentrate on not getting killed, and if possible, fuck up the limbs of the horror.
Same for Ur, don't get killed, concentrate on limbs to reduce movement, and if possible, get another lightning strike into its torso(or whatever you'd call it) through our axe(I'm pretty sure the gauntlets are supposed to channel the lightning through our weapon) which should hopefully also fuck up its slaves that have spewed forth by that time.
Aza'ra should be more careful than us, we have our anti-curse/abyss/etc. chestpiece after all.

“Aza'ra, are the other Dust Devils still here?”

“One is, it must've disrupted the other while we were fighting inside,” Aza'ra replies, as the first of the Horror's slaves start to lurch forward.

“I'm going for the Horror, if you get a chance, try and damage its limbs, otherwise just focus on not dying, and keep those things off of me,” you grunt.

“I think I have something that could help with that,” she replies, starting her muttering once more.

“Raka, guard her,” you call, the bandersnatch obediently placing itself between Aza'ra and the Horror's slaves as they close in.

Meanwhile, you charge forward, hacking apart the first of the things to get in your way, scattering the torso into chunks with two solid strikes. Another lunges at you from the side with a bent sword, only to be blasted away as it comes close, a half-visible figure of dust and sand forming for a moment before it for a moment.

With the gap given to you by the Dust Devil, you push past the slaves to the Horror itself, the misshapen thing towering over you, its lanky limbs twitching as you come near. It lashes out with a foot, kicking up dust and stones as it swings for your skull, but you duck to the side of the clumsy attack, driving your axe into the side of the knee.

The blow is solid, but the damage is less impressive than you'd hoped, the creature's rubbery hide stopping a great deal of the impact. The thing sighs one of its strange, low sighs, lashing out at you with a clawed hand. Once again, you dodge the blow with ease, and once again your counter-attack has little effect, glancing off the slick, rubbery skin of the Horror.

So far it doesn't seem to be anywhere near as quick as Aza'ra was suggesting, but the priestess wasn't joking about its tough hide. You could probably hack your way through it with a few more blows if you just keep at it though, if you wanted to.

You find yourself in the familiar dance with the Horror once more, it swipes at you, you dodge, you strike at its hide and barely scratch it. While you're confident in your stamina, you suspect you'll tire before this thing does, and that's providing that the thing doesn't have any more nasty tricks to spring on you.

Behind you, you hear the Raka and Aza'ra fighting, their battle with the silent slaves of the Horror punctuated with strange screams and shrieks from some unknown force. With luck, it's more of Aza'ra's magic at work, though you're a little too busy fighting this thing to see for yourself. With every exchange, it seems to be growing faster, more agile, as if testing your limits, and you snarl as one of the thing's ragged fingernails grazes your arm just above the elbow.

You need to put an end to this, and while it may mean throwing yourself right into the lion's jaws, that means striking for the creature's ruptured belly, or mouth, or whatever it's supposed to be.

With a bellowed prayer to the orcish gods on your lips, you leap forward, axe raised overhead, narrowly avoiding a hasty kick by the Horror. You tear through strings of viscera connecting the Horror to its slaves as you strike, burying your axe deep within the writhing mass of the thing's innards. The reaction is instantaneous, with a triumphant howl, the slithering organs and sinews within erupt from the creature's belly like some great grasping mass, lashing around you, clinging and winding to your body. You feel it flinch and recoil as its tendrils make contact with your breastplate, but still it pulls forward, latching onto any part of your body not covered by the hated metal.

(cont)
>>
>>42439752
You feel yourself starting to be dragged into the cavernous maw of the creature, Aza'ra's voice and Raka's concerned howl muffled by the sickly sounds all around you. Your arms are buried, axe and all, down to the elbow, your boots scraping along the bile-slicked earth as it draws you into its belly.

“You're not too bright, are you,” you smirk, your hands clenching tight around the handle of your greataxe.

You feel the sense of anticipation and excitement in the creature's warped psyche give way to a momentary wave of puzzlement. For the few seconds before the sheer volume of the wail deafens you, you savor the sound of agony echoing out from the creature, as you release the built up charge within the other gauntlet. You can't hear yourself, your nerves ablaze from sensory overload, but you know damn well you're laughing as the thing burns from the inside out. Your face is spattered by boiling gore as it boils, and you tear your axe free from its core, trailing ragged scraps of meat cooked black by the force of the lightning. The horror thrashes on the ground, its lanky limbs twisting at unnatural angles as the bright white energy crackles through its body, foul black smoke erupting from its bubbling innards in some great plume, curling up into the sky.

You take a step back, shouldering your axe and exhaling hard, the ringing subsiding at last as you start to brush away the hanging scraps of charred viscera coating you. You're burned, scarred, bloody, and you have a splitting headache, but all things considered, you feel great.

“Is it dead?” Aza'ra's voice murmurs over the retreating hum blanketing your senses.

As if in response, the smoking carcass starts to break apart, quickly turning into a thick puddle of black ooze as it boils away to nothing.

“It can't get much deader,” you grunt, turning to face your comrades.

Aza'ra and Raka look pretty healthy, a few cuts and scrapes between them, but nothing they can't walk off.

“Guess that's one I owe you then, Chieftain, that thing was just a little too persistent for my liking,” Aza'ra smirks.

Grunting, you walk away from the collapsed ruin, frowning at your blood-soaked state. While you don't mind getting gory in battle, you're not sure how you feel about walking all the way back to the camp caked in abyssal offal.

“I do know a place, if it's still there. Bit out of the way though,” Aza'ra comments, having evidently realized your thoughts

She seems a lot less direct than Ya'zada, which means "yo let's fuck" probably isn't the ideal means to "seduce her".

“Alright, show me,” you nod.

“Good call. It's probably not poisonous, but why risk it where the Abyss is concerned, right?” Aza'ra nods, squinting up at the sky.

“Let's see. Ruins're here, mountains're there,” she mumbles, turning in a slow circle on the spot as she stares into the horizon, finally stopping to point in a north-westerly direction.

“Yeah, this way.”

You fall into step alongside the priestess, Raka bounding along by your other side.

“I'm surprised another clan didn't move in to a choice location like this after the Bloody Tusks bought it, I'm sure someone could've killed that thing by now,” she frowns, clambering over a rocky rise with impressive ease.

Grunting, you clamber up the rise behind her. “Not a lot of other clans around these days, not compared to when you were awake.”

“That bad, huh. Who was it, the giants? Solar Enclave? Was it those smug Izumians?”

“The kingdom made a lot of enemies, giants, dwarves, elves, sluagh, goblins, all rallied behind some human hero. They destroyed the kingdom, killed most of our females, and drove what was left of us into the wastes to die.”

Aza'ra offers you a hand, which you take, stepping up over the edge of the rise as Raka scrambles up the slope beside you.

“That's what I've heard anyway, I was a bit young to really pay much attention to anything back then.”

The priestess snorts, “it's not like a lot of us didn't see it coming. Sure, our people still had a taste for violence, for raiding and glory, but it had all been tempered with civility and sloth.”

Her top lip twists up into a sneer, a harsh edge creeping onto her features you hadn't seen until now on the surprisingly relaxed priestess.

“Why fight wars against strong neighbours when you could just go raid some petty tribe? Why battle a deadly monster in the unpredictability of the wilderness when you could just go do it in the fighting pits, and be wallowing in luxury again within a matter of minutes.”

“Finally sounding like a priestess of Skor'oz Zik,” you snort.

“I'm not saying our people should never have any fun, but when you let pleasure dull your edge, you deserve to get fucked, and not in the way you'd like. Skor'oz Zik doesn't want orcs to be miserable, he wants them to be survivors, sounds to me like the orcs of the kingdom just proved they weren't survivors.”

“Maybe so,” you grunt.

The two of you walk in silence, the rocky landscape becoming rougher and more jagged as you press on closer to the mountains. Aza'ra walks in silence, seemingly unconcerned with the sharp stony ground on her bare feet. Finally you break the silence, fishing out the armlet from your belongings.

“We lost a lot of knowledge with the fall of the kingdom though, any idea who this is?” you ask.

Aza'ra squints down at the armlet. “Ko'zar Yur. He's a god the redbarks worship, I think. Don't know too much about him, sky god, I think.”

“Redbarks?”

“The Redbark Clans, or the Clans of the Bloody Forest if you want to get pretentious. It's orcish far to the north-east, across the sea and east of the Jotun lands. They're some vicious bastards, from what I'm told, though I've never been that far out myself.”

You nod, eyeing the armlet again. It has a strange glint to it, the way it catches the afternoon sun, almost as if it's rippling.

>>
Shrugging, you slip off one of your gauntlets, resting it on a rock as you slide on the armlet.

“You know cursed items exist, right?” Aza'ra asks, cocking her head.

“I haven't exploded or turned to stone or anything, so I suppose it's fine,” you grunt, tapping the armlet with a finger.

It's a comfortable fit, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything, good or bad.

“Your choice, I suppose, but don't expect me to go all the way back to your camp just to tell them you died to a fashion accessory,” Aza'ra snorts, as you pick your gauntlet back up, fitting it back on over your hand.

No divine visions, no sudden and obvious magical abilities, maybe it's just jewelry after all. Your walk through the wastes takes you all the way through to the evening when Aza'ra pauses, sniffing the air. Frowning, you take a sniff yourself, a slight scent of eggs drifting in the air. It reminds you a little of the stink from the field of boiling water you crossed before, though far less overpowering.

“Ah, close now,” Aza'ra grins, clambering down into a gap in the rock between a pair of outcroppings.

Following the priestess, you find yourself in an secluded area between the jagged rocks, shaded from the sun by the overhanging stone above. The air feels damp, steam rising from a large pool before you.

“Water on the surface of the wastes, didn't know that happened,” you grunt, following the priestess down to the water's edge.

“It comes up from underground. It's clean, and warm to boot,” the priestess explains.

Aza'ra starts to strip off, tossing aside the tattered rags and stretching out her body, taut muscles rippling beneath green skin overlaid with a patchwork of scars.

“There's nothing wrong with a little fun in life, chieftain, but how can you really enjoy it if you haven't had to fight for it,” Aza'ra smirks, glancing back at you over her shoulder as she slips into the water, giving a contented sigh as she sinks down to her shoulders in the steaming pool.

Shrugging, you start to remove your own armor, which takes a fair bit longer than it did for Aza'ra. The priestess swears at Raka with mock irritation as the bandersnatch dives into the water, splashing her as his bulk breaches the surface. Snorting, Raka takes off, amusing himself by half-wading, half-paddling around the pool.

Setting aside your armour at last, you step down into the water next to Aza'ra, a comfortable warmth enveloping you, prompting a contented sigh of your own.

“What did I tell you, this place is great,” the priestess smirks, as you splash some water in your face, wiping off the caked-on gore.

You spend some time just relaxing, enjoying the warm water as you wash away the foulness left behind by the Abyssal Horror, Aza'ra lounging back against the side of the pool next to you.

“What's a Solar Enclave anyway? Elves?”

“Hmm? Oh, them, they're a powerful enclave to the south of Miradia. Paler skinned than the elves you've probably seen in the jungle. They always did hate the orcish kingdom, apparently some orc warlord stole away the queen of the enclave's sister six hundred years ago or something. If there's one thing elves are good at, it's holding a grudge.”

“Those were probably the elves that joined in on the war then.”

Aza'ra shrugs, leaning forward and dunking her head beneath the water. You watch with some curiosity as she keeps it there, the seconds ticking by into minutes, before finally bursting back up to the surface with a gasp, shaking out her waterlogged hair.

“I don't plan on staying here, you know,” you grunt.

“Why? The water's great.”

“I mean the wastes. Maybe you're right, maybe the kingdom did deserve what happened to it, but I don't plan to die sealed away behind some wall and forgotten about. I'm gathering the clans, raiding for slaves, building strength and numbers. I want to kick down that fucking wall and show the people behind it what happens to those who cross orcs,” you growl.

“Quite an ambition there, chieftain,” Aza'ra smirks, arching her back as she stretches, knuckles popping.

“They killed most of our priests too, no surprise really, my clan's shaman tells me most of them had lost their power by the end anyway. Perhaps they deserved it too, but having no priests is a major weakness, and I don't want to wait fourteen years to see if any of the next generation have the knack for it if I can help it.”

“So you want my help to realize your dream?”

(cont)
>>
>>42442187
“I want you to help me raid, pillage and conquer everyone from here to the far end of Miradia who would raise arms against us, I want the people beyond the wall to remember orcs as great warriors, not as dying savages, and I want to hunt down that so-called Orcslayer, bend her over, and fuck her in front of all the people who cheered her name when she shattered the kingdom,” you grin, staring up into the sky. “It's a worthy dream, isn't it?”

“Well judging by your fight with that Horror, you've got the stones for it, but I'm no high priestess. Even if I do like your fire, I can promise you that two weeks sitting around in your camp, I'll be getting that itch to start putting one foot in front of the other and seeing where the world takes me once again,” Aza'ra shrugs.

You frown, it would be a pain if she just wandered off when you got back to camp, you suppose you need to make a compromise of some sort.

“Pity, could do with you around keeping an eye on things, making sure we aren't slipping back into bad habits. How about this then, we know very little of what's going on beyond the wastes, we could do with a scout, someone to see what's happening out there. You could travel, and come back to the camp from time to time with news.”

Aza'ra frowns, closing her eyes. “Maybe, maybe.”

The silence lingers for quite some time, before Aza'ra finally breaks it with a sigh.

“Alright Ur'shal, it would be rude of me not to pay you back for putting down that Horror, and I'll admit I'm a little intrigued to see how far your ambition can take you. I'll join your clan, but on the condition that I'm welcome to come and go as I please.”

You doubt you'll get a better deal than that out of her, so you nod.

“Agreed.”

“Then I suppose that makes me Aza'ra of Clan Stonetusk, chieftain,” the priestess grins.

>>
>>42442259
no fire god or blade god?
no mention of other gods?
Do you hope that konami would finish MGSV even if it ends up being DLC?
>>
>>42442296
>>42442259
you guys went gay route in that quest?
Also what was this about a fight happening in twitter?
I only follow orc and golem quest.
>>
>>42442259
Can we get some stats for Aza'ra soon?

And also the fluff for the Reaver Isles and and other places?
>>
>>42442259
How do female Skor'oz Zik devotees and Priestesses handle pregnancy? I'd imagine that they'd tend to avoid getting pregnant because pregnancy would making travel much harder.
>>
>>42442296
>no priestess smut
Sorry anon, had to cut the thread a little shorter than usual, so there isn't quite time for smut today.

>I expect high quality boi pussy fucking next DoEQ thread to make up for it D:
Well, guess you'll have to wait and see on that one.

>>42442301
Not yet.

>Do you hope that konami would finish MGSV even if it ends up being DLC?
They won't though, they're busy trying to pretend that Kojima never existed. They'll most likely release an MGSV act 3 pachinko machine instead.

>>42442325
The MC of DoEQ is bisexual, the question of elf trap-butt caused some drama last thread.

>>42442378
You can get some stats for Aza'ra right now. She's at the bottom of the character sheets document in the links at the beginning of the thread.

The location fluff will be coming soon, I know I'm well overdue with that.
>>
>>42442425
They tend to pick their moments for pregnancy, setting aside time to do so, while ensuring they take contraceptive herbs the rest of the time.

Of course some of the really hardcore ones just keep travelling right through pregnancy.
>>
How close are we to advancing our favor with the gods and getting nifty stuff?
>>
>>42442435
>some drama
ahum.
>>
>>42442466
what do they do with thier kids?
>>
>>42442435
¿Trap butt? Oh god i missed a session!
>Archives HOOOOO!
>>
>>42442477
You're getting pretty close to boons with three of the gods right now, but that's all I'm going to say.
>>
>>42442508
Dump them on the first clan they visit, or keep them with them, depending on their particular preference.

>>42442514
Don't get your hopes up there anon, nothing actually happened in the thread.
>>
>>42442435
>Aza'ra has no favor with Y'zagya Zoka

Well, that won't do at all. Could Ur'shal do something about that?
>>
Oh yeah, when our kids grow older what will happen to them? Just more nameless orcs in the tribe? Or maybe the strongest/smartest ones stick close(ish)? Will we even recognize them or anything? How does all that work?
>>
>>42442543
He probably could, yes.

>>42442556
Ur will probably know who his kids are, but he's unlikely to have much to do with the vast majority of them, considering how many of them there will be over the coming years. Some may stand out from the crowd though, or may make the extra effort to stick close to him.
>>
>>42442556
Been answered before, we will know if a particularly impressive orc is our kid.
>>42442477
How about you stop asking this fucking question every damn time and just wait for it to be revealed naturally as the narrative dictates?
Jesus Christ this constant "boons when?" shit is really starting to annoy me now.
>>
>>42442601
Have there been mated pairs of Skor'oz Zik devotees who just travel the world, surviving in harsh and lonely places and fucking each other, only coming back to civilization to dump the resulting whelps on some clan?
>>
>>42442696
It's certainly been known, one of the few orcs who can keep up with a Skor'oz Zik devotee's wanderlust is another Skor'oz Zik devotee after all.
>>
>>42442514
Oh, that was just episode 12, thought i missed one.

How did Y'zagya Zoka get anything done when she was mortal? Sounds like she would just have her legs spread 24/7
>>
>>42442800
You ever add anymore to the pastebin with Ur going to school and resulting hilarity? Also have the link by chance, I lost it
>>
>>42442845
Y'zagya Zoka didn't just enjoy fucking, she enjoyed raiding and slavetaking. She would spend weeks out at sea pillaging up and down nearby coastlines, then return to her clan laden down with loot and slaves for a celebratory weeklong orgy.

>>42442880
Afraid there's nothing more added to it, but here's the link again: http://pastebin.com/RVyM5jVL

>then return to her clan laden down with loot and slaves for a celebratory weeklong orgy.

Sounds like my type of gal.

Has anyone tried to map out the family tree of Y'zagya and her descendants? Given her... appetites, that could be a challenge.
>>
>>42443047
You are told that there is one record of Y'zagya Zoka's family tree, a sacred relic held by the most powerful priestess on the Reaver Isles. The gigantic tome is carried on the back of the priestess' prized giant slave.
>>
>>42443101
>powerful priestess on the Reaver Isles
What can extremely powerful Y'zagya Zoka priestesses do with their magic?
>>
>>42443184
High powered healing magic to regenerate limbs or even bring one back from death provided it hasn't been too long, fertility magic which can triple (or more) litters with no danger to the mother, enchantments to bind slaves to the caster, and other fun things like cursing someone with a full-strength magical copy of orc addiction, or cursing an unfortunate female to be so fertile that even going anywhere near an orc male will knock her up. Those are a few examples Ur's heard about anyway, as a shaman, Ku'zag was never made privy to the greatest magics of any of the orcish gods.
>>
>>42443323
>cursing an unfortunate female to be so fertile that even going anywhere near an orc male will knock her up
Sounds like fun. What would an orc woman have to do to merit such a punishment?
>>
>>42443419
Generally it was used on non-orcish females, considering how often orcish females are taking the green D, it probably wouldn't be a noticeable effect on most of them. I suppose if an orc female was disregarding all mating a vindictive priestess might do it to punish her.
>>
>>42443469
>Generally it was used on non-orcish females
I get the feeling more than one devoted wife has sworn blind to her husband she has never fucked an orc when she has given birth a healthy orc litter.
>>
>>42443469
Can an orc woman earn favor with Y'zagya Zoka for being an incest fanatic, doing their fathers, uncles, brothers, sons and grandsons? Or does that just get a giggle out of Y'zagya but nothing more?
>>
>>42443752
No more than from doing anyone else, no, not that a lot of Y'zagya Zoka devotees don't do so anyway to emulate their goddess.
>>
Okay, if that's all the questions, I'm going to call it a night.
