Hey guys, sorry for starting late; had some schoolwork to do.
Give me a couple minutes to finish up.

You should just wait until you have time to make a thread.

This will be the thread, just starting late that's all.

Now we ended with A482 being lead away to The Checkup room after we asked him some questions.

Breakfast is now over and we have to choose where we will go for activity time.

>What do you do?
>Go to The Interaction Room
>Go to The Yard
>Go to The Cell
>Other?

Returning to cell would be ending the day until Dr. Ricards has his appointment with you, and will allow you to choose class and more.
The rest of the stuff, you can find out when you go there.

We're going to the yard, brother. The yard is where we will thrive.

The yard has flowers. And lots of weeds. I like the yard.

Deciding that a bit of fresh air would be best you make your way to the door leading to The Yard. While you may not know the exact layout of the place....let alone why you are even here... you can still read signs thankfully. It takes you about 2 minutes to shuffle past the slower moving patients, but you eventually make your way outside.

There aren't that many other patients out here, and those that are do not seem all that lucid to really tell the difference. There are some staff and some more self sufficent patients tending a garden, but most are stumbling around the grassy yard, staring blankly at the space around them.

There are some trees in the east-most corner, a sand-pit like area northern-most area, and a flower garden beside the vegetable one.

The trees, I say. For all we know we're being held against our will. Learning how to climb trees may save our lives.
>>
>>42656234
It's rude to climb on unfamiliar tree. First we should become friends with it.

Walking towards the trees you look up to the the high branches that are gently swaying in the wind. You single out out the largest tree and begin to walk around its thick base until you almost get bored then..
...Wait a sec...

What's that?

There seems to be a face of an old man carved into the base of the trunk, graffiti or unsupervised art project; who are you to judge? Whoever made it obviously took a measure of time and care to make sure ever detail was perfect, but it must of been done a while ago as moss has covered it... had you not been looking for something you probably would have missed it. It is a wonder to who carved it, as patients probably can't have sharp objects.

Just messing around you speak to the carved face.
"How are you doing, haha... I really must be crazy. One day in here and I'm already talking to trees."

"TWTCHTHC!" Comes from the hole in the mouth of the tree. You jump nearly ten feet in the air as a gigantic beetle crawls from the mouth, staring at you.

You reach down and hold your hand out, expectantly waiting for the beetle to walk onto your hand.

The beetle cautiously stares at your hand and slowly....ever so slowly.... steps onto your hand. The beetle walks around your palm, clacking its mandibles until it settles between your middle and ring finger. You hold your breath hoping it won't bite you, and if it does that it isn't venomous.

Then suddenly the beetle lifts up its hind end, and sprays a yellow liquid on your arm. At first you are confused.... until you breath through your nose.
"Ah hell, THAT FUCKING STINKS!" You yell, drawing the gaze of many of the other patients in the yard, but the staff don't seem concerned as they are used to such things.

The beetle has remained still, continuing to stare at you, expectantly.

WIth a grimace you close your palm around the beetle and walk back inside the building. Thankfully it seems content to sit still and wait inside your hand, seemingly waiting. Now what to do with your new found associate....hmm?

"Hey A379? What have you been up to recently?" Round the corner comes Johnson, smile stretched across his face. With the knowledge from A482, that once friendly or excited twinkle within Johnson's eyes that once seemed to be coming from the love of his work now seems to originate from the urges of a man who enjoys performing cronic and sustained cruelty on those who can't do much about it.

You extend your hand to him, not saying a word. Johnson looks down into your palm.
"Hmmm, what's that you got there-OH GOD!" He screams as your companion releases his stink attack .... right into Johnson's eyes.

Johnson begins to scream in pain, and flails around on the ground begging for help... but something strange is happening.
His face is red and inflamed and his screams become more and more strained, his hands are grasping at his throat...
You notice a little bracelet around his wrist with a wierd red * symbol...
